I replaced my 2nd generation Scarlett 2i2 with the 3rd generation 4i4. I was a bit skeptical of the software application required to set the inputs to line/instrument, but it turned out to be fairly intuitive.

The unit comes with a pad and air feature. Pad is self explanatory (gain reduction for loud recordings), the air setting is supposed to model some classic microphone preamp or something to that effect.

I’m not totally sure what the difference is, but I’ve left the Air feature on anyways while recording and I’ve been pleased with the results, how much of that satisfaction is a result of the Air setting is hard to say since I haven’t actually done any objective testing but it certainly doesn’t seem to hurt anything by having it on.

Initially, when I got the hardware going on my iMac I experienced significant lag while using Logic at various times, particularly when I was trying to copy logic drum tracks or expand the timeline but also while trying to do basic functions as well.

I was concerned that I would have to get more RAM for my Mac which is problematic because the model I have makes it both difficult and expensive to increase RAM. However, after a few repeated uses the issue seems to have subsided, so I don’t really know what that was about or whether the change in hardware even had anything to do with it, however it definitely was not an issue while I used my 2i2 so it’s something to consider.

I mainly upgraded because I wanted to start using midi with my electronic drum kit and that was basically as easy as plug and play (aside from a couple added steps in Logic which didn’t have anything to do with the 4i4).

However, for some reason the midi tracks seem to cause Logic to experience errors during playback when I close and then reopen a project. Again, can’t say that this is a result of the 4i4 but I’ve been able to resolve the issue by simply quitting Logic entirely before reopening a project which isn’t much of an inconvenience at all.

A great high quality product! Design- I love the sleek and compact design. The red matte metal contrasts well with the glossy black front and back panels. It has more than enough Jack inputs and contains two ports that function as both XLR and Jack inputs- awesome! It has LED’s on the panels which indicate the selected inputs (INST, AIR, PAD) which can be changed via the focusrite interface.

Sound and preformance- Amazing sound quality covering a full range of frequencies! There is also pretty much zero latency so it sounds great and is very much a joy to record with. Handling- For the past couple weeks of use, this audio interface has been very intuitive to use, I’m a novice producer yet I’ve barely had to touch the manual! It also comes with its own interface which allows you to change the inputs and their volumes.

The box has a light around the volume knobs which advises you on the correct volume to have the instrument at (green, orange or red). This interface is also great for troubleshooting when you don’t know whether there’s an issue with the setup or the DAW.

The RODE NT1 has long been a mainstay for any recording studio. This was my chance to get one and I have to say it’s reputation has not been overstated. I have and have worked with many microphones in the last 50 years and the RODE NT1 has just become my all around “go to” mic.

From it’s almost noiseless “floor” (4. 5) to it’s crystal clear warm overtones, this microphone is pure joy to work with and at an affordable price. Top that off with RODE’s 10 year manufacturer’s warranty and you’ll be hard pressed to find a better deal.

My most recent purchase was the Rode NT1 microphone and the usb audio interface thats comes with the package. I have used it now on two albums for the vocals and it is so much better than what i was using before.

The vocals are clear and crisp and sound like what i imagined it should sound like-professional and upfront. I couldn’t be happier with all of my purchases with AMS. Everything i have purchased so far-i have never had a problem with.

I like the fact that they offer payment plans too. You know i purchased a two track Tascam recorder for 99. 00$ 2-3 years ago and it is still working. I honestly have a lot of respect for American Musical Supply because they have been honest and have good customer service too.

Only device drivers. When I have purchased M audio products previously, I was always offered a complementary version of ProTools. Upon checking on this the feedback that I get from avid is now “it is not cost effective for us to offer you the complementary copy of ProTools for M audio”.

This is an extreme disappointment to me as I have always used ProTools with M audio products. I have been able to use some of my other audio software like Ableton live and Adobe Soundbooth. But those products do not work as well for what I intended to do with this product.

When I opened up the package and checked the documentation, The only software offered were the drivers for the device. Fortunately I can get it to work with windows 732 and 64 bit versions, but there is no longer any support for windows XP which was always part of the support until recently… despite that operating system no longer being supported.

When Digidesign owned Pro Tools, they always offered drivers for legacy operating systems, they even offered versions of ProTools that would run under those operating systems. But now even all of the links that Avid used to provide for the legacy links, are all gone.

The hardware is good hardware and it provides a good Analog to digital converter, but without the standard ProTools, creators like me have had their wings clipped. I was able to locate ProTools 8 for M-Audio, but I was not given an iLok authorization to activate that software and that’s another thing that is missing from this product.

I had always been given a USB dongle where I could insert the ILOK authorization. This part of the product is disappointingly totally missing from the package. I am wondering if maybe I was missing some things when I opened up the package.

But all I was really given was an instruction manual, a link to download the drivers, to USB C cables, but no other software disks or links. Very odd. Hopefully I will be able to find a use for this hardware I was given a very nice microphone and a pair of headphones.

The sound quality coming out of the device is rather good. But without the standard creation software, there is not really anything we can do with this unless we purchase the software on our own and that was never something that we had to do with M audio, The creation software was always given to us.

M-Audio AIR 192|4 Vocal Studio Pro – Complete Vocal Production Package this is an entire vocal studio in a box , I was not sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised! I was excited to open this up and try it and was really impressed with the ease of set up! I started on the radio in the days of using reel to reel and vinyl and wish I had access to equipment this easy to use back then! I have set up recording studios in the past and this is so much easier and lighter weight! this would be ideal to record on the road or do interviews with – so easy to set up and use right after you open the box.

the usb is plug and play for mac and you can DL a windriver and it works right away! I like the headphones feel right and the mic records so well I can hear more definition and quality than recording on the other studio set up! right out of the box you have a good quality headphones and mic and can record voicework right away! This impressed me with ease of use and included a bunch of extras others might get more use out of but my mom asked if I would go ahead and do books on tape now that I have this haha the mic fits right in my old mic stand but you might want to get a desktop mic stand I like the size of the mic and it is easier for me to get good voice quality out of that mic rather than the tiny ones others like to use these days.

I feel like my voice is richer and less tin-ney or metallic and no background clutter. I really would recommend this for recording voice over bits and bumpers and the quality is good enough for radio or TV or musicians, this would be great in a dorm or apartment situation and you could work without disturbing the neighborhood! A nice size, I could even see taking this to a show to record live and feed direct to the mixing board.

I think there are ways to utilize this that a bigger bulky studio would not be able to work with! I am not sure about the software included since I use other pro software I am familiar with already. It works great! I really enjoyed getting the box, opening it and it being so easy to use – I wish I had access to this years ago, I might have stayed in voice work! I think this would be a great gift or addition to any studio! I have really enjoyed using this and can not wait to do more!.

This is a m-audio air 192/4 complete vocal studio production package. When I got this I knew absolutely nothing about it. I just thought my husband would really enjoy it because he likes to play the drums and he has a friend who comes over and plays guitar.

I thought they may enjoy being able to also sing with a professional type quality. I thought you just plugged it in. If you are like me and do not know much about this type of thing, I strongly encourage you to do as much research as you can before you purchase something like this.

We have an amp. We connected it to our amp and could not get any sound from the microphone. I don’t know if it was an error on our part, or if it just wasn’t compatible. My advice here would be to research, contact the help center listed in the manual, or ask someone knowledgeable in this type of area for help.

This is my first experience with setting up a digital audio workstation. After some research, I decided to buy the Behringer U-Phoria Studio Pro set. Fairly easy to set up , even for a complete beginner like me.

Once I remembered to switch on the phantom power switch at the back, my microphone picked up everything. Huge improvement on the built in microphone I’d been using. Connecting everything up was straightforward, and I look forward to working with the interface, microphone and headset to record music and singing on to Garageband.

If you need a simple audio interface this is a great buy. Plug and play for GarageBand, phantom power for your mic, can record two inputs with individual gain control. Microphone is decent, headphones are good too.

The mic sounds good but headphone is not working. There is a static sound from the headphone and once I replace with another headphone it works well. I think there is a problem with the head phone. I hope you can replace the headphone so I can use it.

The microphones and sound mixer are definitely solid hardware and were easy to layout and connect up. Was up and running within an hour all told with the installation. The mic stand is solid as well; it was heavy enough to add a foam sound barrier.

Instruction manual is a bit lacking so you’ll have to learn by playing at first, which most of s do anyway on most new purchases, and some of the software recommended in the instructions that were lacking was no longer available as a free download.

Still, a good purchase if you are planning to do some serious, professional recording.

It can handle voice over work, any home recording you can throw at it and is rugged enough to take with you to record wherever in the wild blue yonder you find yourself. Add in a high quality vocal mic, a large diaphragm condenser mic that is worth double it’s weight in bitcoin, really nice and solid-feeling headphones and every cable you’d need and the bargain is amazing.

Really great product for starting out. Mic is good, headphones block noise and are crystal clear. The only recommendation I would make is to use a pop filter to reduce plosive’s.

I thoroughly recommend this for anyone dipping their toe into home recording, I am a complete novice and this pack was ideal everything you need is included all the cables you need are supplied, I would recommend you buy a mic stand at the same time its the only additional thing you need.

The quality of the ur22 is robust as is the mic headphones however are a bit flimsy but sound is good The ur22c is easy to use once set up , Cubase however is a bit tricky to download so watch a couple you tube videos first, likewise it takes a bit of time to master using Cubase but again plenty of you tube videos and once you get your head around it its easy to use but also plenty scope for learning as you go.

Note: I swear to God this is not an ad, I genuinely just absolutely love this product and it deserves to be talked about! I could not be more thrilled with the UA Volt 276. Firstly, the set up is extremely easy, and I LOVE the fact that it doesn’t require plugging into the wall if you are using the usb-c to connect to your computer.

I’m a crowded studio space, any available plugs are valuable. The sound is great and clean, and the analogue preamp finally gives me that pro audio *shine* on the sound of my vocals and guitars I’ve been searching for for literally years! The compressor is also amazing, it adds fullness to the sound in just the way a great compressor should, and it makes mixing much easier as well if you aren’t great with compressors in your DAW like myself.

All of what I’ve already listed make it well worth the asking price, but what truly blows me away is the free software. The value is truly out of this world, I couldn’t believe how many free, HIGH QUALITY plugins you get with the Volt.

The main talking point is of course Melodyne Essentials, which is an industry standard and a must for any music-maker. To give my flowers to a less hyped up plug-in, I especially like the Marshall amp Simulator, and I’ve tried many amp simulators.

Combined with the Hi-Z instrument setting, the preamp, and the compression, the sound is rich and full of life, which is definitely NOT the case with most other amp simulators. I would humbly say this is the best single purchase I have made for my studio and for a future in creating studio quality music from home.

This audio-box is truly a must-have in my opinion, ESPECIALLY if you are just starting out and don’t know what to get. Combined with a little learning and a little acoustic treatment, I doubt you’ll find any better sound quality or value on the market anywhere even remotely close this price range.

I’d give it an 11/10 if I could.

The packaging is beautiful; the paper documentation is nonexistent. The online documentation is extremely thorough. If you are a beginner or even if you don’t know the differences between balanced and unbalanced cables, the online material is awesome.

Super simple and to the point while explaining everything you could ever want to know about the unit and some basic sound engineering principles. Build: It has a rugged construction and feel to it in part because its aluminum.

The knobs are plastic but passable. The volume pots are smooth. The rear IO is perfect in terms of the ports available and can be powered by the USB C port. Sound: It sounds great. Fairly quiet preamps with a lot of gain makes for an awesome combo for the price.

I’ll probably never use the Vintage button. The front IO accepts Line level signals only through the TRS part of the jack and automatically switches to it. Complaints: IT DOES NOT SHIP with a USB C to USB C cable 🙁 Only a USB A to USB C.

With most computers now having USB C, this is frustrating. It does also come with a USB A to 5v barrel connector to power it as well. Conclusion: I love the build quality, sound it produces, and simplistic design.

I don’t like that it does not come with a modern USB C cable.

The interface has two XLR-1/4 inch inputs in the front and two 1/4 inch inputs in the back. I tend to not use the compressor options, but they’re nice to have as an option. The headphone output has enough oomph to drive some 600 ohm higher impedance headphones quite well.

If you’re worried about excessive power draw from USB, you can use the included 5V wall wart for ease of mind. My only complaint is that the 48V phantom power is applied to both of the front panel inputs.

I’ve yet to see a small USB interface that didn’t do that though. Most devices should have protection from phantom power applied in error, but you may want to be careful especially with some mics. There is a few second delay from when the 48V button is pressed and when the power is actually applied though.

If you don’t need the extra inputs and extra monitor outputs in the back or the compressor option, I would save some money and get the Volt 2. Looks like it has the same performance recording wise as the 76 series, as far as I can tell.

You will lose the signal level indicators on top though.

The Mackie Big Knob interface is great! I used to have a scarlet…this is so much better! Worth it! The features on it make it easy to record. Plus, the Monitor speakers with package are great! They have a nice clear sound.

I sing under a bridge and my iPhone mic pics up all the echoes abs reverbs that bounce around after I let out a big sound. I wanted something that would capture those echoes and make them more pronounced in my recordings.

This mic is great and comes with an app and you can specify how you want the mic to pick up sound. I tried having it pointed straight at my and got really great sound, however, it didn’t pick up the echoes because of its direction.

If I rotated the mic the other way then the sound was further away. I ended up returning it and sticking with my iPhone mic because it actually works better. I don’t like that the mic has to plug in the bottom.

Like many performers/actors I’m trying to better my self tape auditions shot in iPhone 13. This is a probably a great mic if you’re sitting 18 inches or closer to the mic. So if you’re handholding your iPhone and vlogging or just recording voice it’s probably suitable.

But with a home self tape set up the mic (attached to the phone) is too far from the subject & actually is comparable or worse sound at that distance than the phone’s built in mic. And there’s no option to get the mic closer because it’s a direct hook into the lightening port.

Better to find a mic that uses a cable and can be set close to performer with use of a cable and small tripod or what have you. Reviews are odd bc it may work great for a different application. But for what I bought it for it’s useless so I gave it 1 star.

I normally don’t write reviews but this interface’s drivers and mix software is so bad I thought I might save someone else from having to deal with it. I used it in windows 10. As of 11/21 in order to get the adat inputs to work properly and monitor through the mixer you need to change the sample rate to another rate and back to the one you’re using after powering up (every time).

I learned this after doing some research and apparently this has been a know bug for years. To add insult to injury the real-time mix/monitoring SW is terrible. Its divided into mixes per output pairs, which is fine/workable, but the solo is global and mutes all other busses.

So, if for example, you want only mic one on Adat 3/4 you’d have to mute or turn down every other channel instead of just soloing the channel you want and all faders are up by default. Maybe there’s a shortcut but I had to much to do to find it.

Also there’s no way to save monitor mixes. Also if the mixer is active I think you have to route the HW channels to the logical Adat channels going to the DAW rather through the mix SW then access them directly from the driver unless you bypass the mix software all together loosing no latency input monitoring which makes the solo implementation all the more worse.

I’m not sure I’m describing this properly but it was arcane and annoying. Also, there’s plenty of zipper noise pulling down the bus output faders. It’s pure frustration. The pres and build quality are fine and it comes with some nice bundled sw that I had no use for but would come in handy if you’re starting from zero.

I’d stay away from this box until presonus redesigns the SW. There are decades older options with better functionality and whatever money you’re saving isn’t worth it. Something like: “Presonus is our day job.

Designed by musicians” is proclaimed under the stock photos on the the box. It might be good for them to hire some engineers to work the bugs out.

I got this as my first “real” microphone on eBay. Sounds reeeeeeeally good for such a cheap no brand microphone. There’s a nice review video on YT by Landon27 comparing it to the AT2020. It sounded really good when recording his Vox AC10.

I’ve used it to record vocals, percussion, acoustic guitars (6 & 12 string), drums and guitar amps. Very little EQ needed, from what I could tell. I also use it for my radio show, with pop filters. Note: you WILL need phantom power to use this.

I use a Behringer UM2 USB audio interface that works really well for solo recording (one track/instrument at a time, since both inputs – one XLR and one 1/4″ – are summed into mono). Sure, you could buy better mics, but why when these are just as good?.

This was a real nice surprise as I did not expect the quality of the product being as great as it is. It was easy to set up — its a microphone and a mic holder for a console—after all. This was the first one that I had owned in a long time and it works great.

The large pop filter extension was a bit much, what with it also having a pop filter that fit onto the microphone, but what the heck, I tried it out with a friend of mine that I talk to on SKYPE and he said I sounded like I was in the room with him except when I used the large pop filter then he said that I didn’t sound like me with a little more bass and less high sibilants.

So, I removed the pop filter that attached to the stand arm and just used the filter that fits over the mic and all was well. All in all, I would have to compare it to a Heil Microphone as there was little difference between them when I took it to the radio station and tried it on the air.

there for comparison. Its at home now, and connected to both my computer and through a switch to my Kenwood TM-281a. n the air reports from other hams say it sounds a heck of a lot better than the original mic that came with the radio.

When my mic came in the mail I was super excited, I opened it up and took everything out. when I opened the instructions it was just a bunch of blurry pictures, and nothing to explain them. after a good hour and a half I finally got the stand set up.

I plugged the mic in and placed it in the stand and had to read the instructions again, this time there actual words. I plugged the usb in that was connected to the mic wires and I selected it. I couldn’t hear myself so I went on a call and nobody could hear me either.

I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone except my enemies. Don’t buy this for the life of it.

Recently bought a Steinway M, needed to record piano tracks on some projects. Although the mics sound good, I use my AKG 414B ULS and Shure SM81, records great. I will use the mics in a rehearsal situation and I’ve been using the phones.

Using Pro Tools First, which is included, is easy to work with. Great bang for the buck!.

The daw system gives a really good quality sound when recording. The cool M7 large diaphragm microphone is the absolute perfect accessory to anyone’s studio. With high quality performance and great tonal quality you just can’t go wrong.

Im completely blown away by the quality craftsmanship of the DAW, Mic, and Studio One Software system. Its’ really user friendly and isn’t over complicated. It’s most definitely something I have to learn to use but it’s pretty straight forward and is a convenience to my wallet.

Studio One 5 has just been released and this product does come with Studio One 4. For the price you just can’t beat a one series model behind system that is completely worthy of taking on all obstacles needed for your audio production fancies.

This product not only met my expectations but it super-seceded them Ive had the equipment now since the first of July and what a firecracker it is. Well worth the $200 and tax. The items shipped all the way from New Jersey in just two short days, arrived in a nice discreet package and we’ve been lighting up the sky ever since.

I have two of these 2i4 units which I use as PC interfaces to playback music into hi-end audio systems. The sound quality whether balanced or unbalanced is superb with great separation and immense detail.

Now to the USB interface issue, which is not unique to the first generation unit, as my first unit was a second generation unit with exactly the same broken USB fault. Replacing them takes time and patience, but it can be done with the simplest of tools.

I would recommend a sharp pair of snips, temperature controlled soldiering iron, de-soldiering sucker, de-soldiering wick and a small flat screwdriver to use as a lever. You must clear as much soldier as you can around the joints, snipping the rear links and careful prizing of the connector with the iron on the lugs you can get the beasty off quite nicely.

Then carefully clear the debris out of the holes and you are ready to fit the new one. There are plenty of YouTube videos on how to take the unit apart, to get to the main PCB. Good luck.

Beautiful piece of kit, looks great, easy and fun to use, and produces clear professional level sound. but has one major flaw: insufficient gain to run low output dynamic microphones. It worked great, on about 50 percent gain, using my Newer 300 condenser mic and my Blue Yeti Pro.

However, I had to crank the gain to 100 percent to get the same volume using my Shure MV7 and Shure SM58. This is unacceptable for two reasons: at full volume some noise creeps into the signal, and there is no headroom.

Needs at least another 15 DB. If you want to buy this product, allow for the cost of a signal booster like the Cloudlifter.

I ordered the Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 Studio Package for my wife to use as a singer songwriter to get ideas down. To be honest i wasn’t expecting anything special at the price, i thought that the included headphones and mic would just be a cheap generic startup type thing and they would need upgrading shortly after purchase but would be good enough to do what my wife needed and get her started off doing what she wants to do.

I did watch a couple of reviews and they said it was a great little package but i was still a bit skeptical. To be completely honest, i was blown away with how good this package is. The mic is great and records crystal clear vocals.

So far haven’t run into any problems with noise being generated by the unit itself either. Headphones are very comfortable and the sound coming through them is great. Haven’t tested them out with different music yet so am unsure of how the headphones reproduce different frequencies yet.

Will try the in a mixing session and see how they compare to our monitors when i get the chance. The only one thing we had problems with was registering the unit on the Focusrite website. The website wouldn’t accept the serial number first up.

After a number of attempts we logged out of the website then went back in an it registered straight away. We use Reaper as the DAW and it integrates perfectly with it and use it as a two channel multitrack.

Incredibly easy to set up within the DAW. This package is well worth it and i would recomend it to anyone wanting a start up all in one package. Comes with some great VST plugins as well. If we come to a point my wife needs to upgrade i will use the 2i2 myself on my setup and get rid of interface i currently use.

My wife loves it. All in all 5 stars.

I’ve been a fan of focusrite products for years now and just recently upgraded to the 3rd generation package. The mic is solid and very clear especially for someone just beginning to record music. The interface is powerful and small enough to move around too.

It’s a great setup especially if you’re mobile with your setup. It’s easy to set up, you just plug it in and go. I cant say much about the headphones since I haven’t acquired them yet but it’s a really solid setup.

The microphone and the interface are ideal for my songwriting and my composing. I have recorded a few demos with them, that I’m already so excited to master. These are the best headphones I’ve ever heard.

The quality of sound is ideal for the stereo output into other speakers and audio sources. This helps me clean and polish tracks! Also, very useful DAW bundle. I love that I can try out Ableton without having to buy the standard ver.

This is a great little starter kit. I’m doing some audiobook recording and my old mic and set up was not up to the task. While I don’t have a lot of money to spend on high-end equipment right now, the Focusrite Scarlett Solo Studio has everything I currently need.

It is a simple USB plug in unit with some wonderful features which help reduce sibilance (the Air button). I have noticed that I have to do very little post-production on the sound so I am very pleased with that.

There is also a second socket for a guitar or other instrument (which I don’t need), but I reckon it would work well for a travelling musician. The condenser mic is very good and, provided you use it correctly (just speak into the logo, I find), you get a minimum off room noise, which is amazing as my laptop fans can get quite noisy! Definitely recommend this as a great starter.

The hardware seems really good. Very solid build. The headphones are particularly good. Software installation is fairly easy, but for a newcomer to DAW there is a lot to learn. A lot of resources on YouTube but be sure to find the one appropriate to the latest software release.

Once up and running it is not intuitive, but certainly effective. And great fun, if you have the time to give it!.

As someone who has been a recording and performing musician for about ten years(and a musician for the majority of his actual life – 23/26 years), this particular equipment isn’t bad, by any means, but it isn’t the best.

Now, I’ve had some mics from this site(a Nady USB mic that was absolutely horrid – took 2 months to get and was practically dead, by time I got it, past return policy, and I was told: “can’t help you,” but, I digress), but.

the mic included with this set isn’t a bad one. It’s a decent bit of hardware that picks up a clean tone and can hang with some lower-end mics on the spectrum. Mine has a bit of a hum, sometimes, but, you just have to make sure the XLR stays plugged in, as the port doesn’t always seem to hang on so tightly to the end of it.

That’s the only problem I seem to have run into with it. The interface works wonders and the headphones don’t have any issues that I’ve run into, even after three years. While I’ve gone through a lot of gear, over the years, recording for countless people, here and there, swapping out mics for different vocalists and instrumentation for whoever it may be, engineering for whoever it may be that I work with, I think that this is a solid thing to have on hand, for whatever it is that I am doing.

Now, getting into Studio One, as a software, it isn’t for the faint of heart. Now, it DOES have tutorials and the like, which can be fine to use, if you want to learn to use something on the complicated side, while learning the harder aspect of engineering, which is a good thing, especially if you plan on using something like ProTools(which, in my honest opinion, is more user-friendly than Studio One – that’s saying a lot).

Definitely do your research before doing anything drastic, especially if it’s going to be your first foray into recording, but, it shouldn’t hard to pick up. Finally, that all being said, for the price, it’s hard to beat the amount of gear you’re getting, so hop in and enjoy!.

Okay okay okay, so let me start by saying I am a professionally trained audio engineer. I hold a degree in the field, and was primarily trained in Pro Tools. Because of my current situation, I wasn’t able to afford Pro Tools on a long-term basis, but I needed SOMETHING, ANYTHING, for my own personal usage.

I run a podcast, and make music, so I needed something that could do both and still be easy enough to set up and learn. I searched, and searched, and finally found the PreSonus bundle. I’d heard rave reviews about PreSonus in college, but never got around to giving them a try.

I’m glad I finally did. The bundle comes with a high quality microphone, two monitors, a MIDI keyboard, the interface itself, and the download for Studio One, which separate is $400 alone. The gear arrived in record time, and was in neat, and discreet packaging! The download of Studio One was a little bit wonky, but that’s because of a mistake on my end.

Studio One is very easy to use, and when you register your gear on the official PreSonus website, you get access to tutorials to walk you through everything you need to know about Studio One. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

It is great for the price, and great for a podcaster, or someone with a home studio!.

A desktop studio, packed & shipped quickly and pretty simple to set up initially. Once set up, I added my iPad and laptop to see how everything would work. It works! Cleanly. Effortlessly. Affordably.

Technically sufficient For vlogging & podcasting. Good news during COVID-19 for me! I am a professional vocalist, actress, storyteller, and musician. My summer season, canceled. My fall season, rescheduled until February 2021.

#BLM Thank God for everything 🙂 I’m not very technical as an artist yet this was easy for me to set up three times! When I first got it I set it up, and it was simple that I thought I could set this up anywhere! So then I moved to another location in my room 🙂 and set it up again.

The next day I got a phone call about a new apartment that was available for me if I wanted to move in 🙂 I have been houseless for six years so I was excited saying “YEEESSSS!” I packed my studio back into the box it was shipped in.

Two weeks later? Moved in to my new apartment in Portland! All my life I’ve lived in New York. 40 years I’ve been singing jazz, telling stories & singing jazzy + everything else to young audiences. But now, it’s COVID-19 season and a reason.

I started vlogging and podcasting. This set up is perfect for my work station desk that has a shelf for the speakers, and plenty of room for my laptop, iPad and anything else I need. I’m no technician; just a musician…the set up of the software is fairly simple to at least start 🙂 when you start and wanna get more technical – you can.

#SophisticatedTechnicalLady As I’m learning that I know very little at all… I am glad to learn how to podcast and vlog with this pre-Sonus system. Everything needed is included in the box… If you’re like me, you have a oldish laptop & iPad, either one you can record on.

It will take me a few months to know if there’s something about it I don’t like, but there’s so much that I do like this feeling will last until I realize that there’s something new I still must learn… I doubt it will NOT be a problem of the equipment!
