Best Eq For Airpod Pros (2024 Updated)

I bought this over 1 month ago and have been primarily using it to sand walls. I have it attached to a Starmix iPulse H class vacuum (M class is enough if you already have one). Starmix provide very basic step-down adapter which can be cut with a knife to fit the sander’s dust extraction port.

The dust extraction is excellent when using Granat net sanding discs and is still almost as good when using regular / non-net sanding discs. Irrespective of how good the dust extraction is, I would always recommend a respirator with filters sufficient for such dust (3M’s 2135s / P3Rs), non-ventilated googles and ear defenders but don’t take my word for it, do your own PPE research! The detachable power cord is a great idea.

The vacuum I have has an auto mode where when the tool’s power is plugged into the vacuum, the vacuum coms on with the tool. However, as I bought it from Germany, the power connection is EU, not UK but because I can swap out the sander’s power cord, I can simply use the Festool EU connection which I bought separately.

From my current usage, the speed setting make sense. Interestingly enough, on too high a speed, the friction between the sanding disc and wall causes heat so a lower speed and more patience is required.

The trigger and speed adjuster both feel good in use and would say that there is an impressive amount of power for 400 watts when I’m using it. The vibrations are low providing you keep your hand on the top of the sander and don’t over exert it, which is what it is ergonomically designed for.

The sander is reasonably light and can be comfortably operated one-handed using your other to help navigate your vacuum hose and power cable. I note some pig tail markings on the plaster at times from the random orbital pattern but I’m reasonably convinced this is user error on my part in terms of how much pressure I exerted vs where I exerted it (ie: listing to one side) vs the speed.

I also note that periodically, it is worth decoupling the backing pad with an Allen key and cleaning out inside as dust can still accumulate despite the dust extraction, especially fine dust from plaster.

This may cause a loss of suction and perhaps some heat. Something that may not be too obvious is that you can buy a Festool product outside your home country yet register it in your how country. This makes online shopping across Europe much easier.

I’m knocking one star off the overall rating because of the lack of longevity of the backing pad / base plate that is bolted to the sander to which the sanding discs are attached using hook-and-loop (aka Velcro).

Despite me doing some heavy sanding with grits from P40 to P120, I only got a few hours out of that backing pad / base plate before having to replace it at a cost of about 40 pounds. The Velcro just wore down too quickly.

Some might say that I’m not rating the tool and I’m rating a consumable but I disagree. The tool is useless with that item. Having to replace that item after just a few hours heavy use is quite an expensive proposition for a tool that already cost 600 pounds.

There’s no alternatives let alone better alternatives. All in all, I’m very happy I bought this sander. Even if I had known about the one concern above prior to purchase – the backing pads wearing out faster than I would like, I would still have bought it.

I look forward to using it for years to come including on wood!.

I haven’t been able to use the tool. Festool hasn’t designed their systainer to withstand the shipping process. USToolandfastener did an awesome job packaging the systainer using bubble wraps. However, the tool and accessories inside the systainer were loose.

In the end, I have the sander with a non flat backing pad and cosmetic scuffs. I hope Festool can improve their packaging in the future (or quality control). Customer service is great. Great communication and kudos to J.

This thing has completely changed the sound of my speakers for the better! I have 18″ PA woofers installed into home made “H-Frame” dipole cabinets and 8″ full range drivers on simple “open baffle” flat panels above them.

There are no passive crossovers. When I built these I found a pair of Crown XLS 1500 amplifiers on close out. The Crowns have 48db LR crossovers built in so I just used those to cross the full rangers and the bass cabs at around 125 Hz.

Preamp duties were handled by my Yamaha receiver which did not have the gain that the Crowns would have preferred. Through a bit of tweaking, at the expense of headroom, I made this work anyway and enjoyed them this way for several years.

Then the PA2 arrived, which I actually bought to help dial in a new 3-way speaker build, and I could finally let the Crowns run full range and could relax the gain setup on my Yamaha (that -10/+4db switch on the back of the PA2 is the golden ticket!) My speakers finally get the high pass 48db @ 350Hz and low pass 12db @ 100Hz that they were designed for and sound superb! Much more headroom, clean power on tap, without clipping, lower distortion, and what sounds to my ears like better channel separation to boot.

I can finally run these speakers to concert level SPLs and the Crowns don’t even break a sweat (any more!) And the noise floor is DEAD SILENT. I love it! The only things I would change, if I could, would be that the rack mount ears on the PA2 were removable, to look more at place in a non-rack environment, AND that dbx had simply included a wifi chip on board rather than needing to run CAT5 to a wifi router to use the app.

The app DOES work extremely well and besides having very tiny fonts (on my cell phone), it is a joy to use, to adjust parameters right from my favorite listening position. Great device and the changes it gave me make me think it was worth every penny.

I used it many times in PA situation and recently as a art of installed system. Its easy to work with it but could use improvements like adding your own user presets for EQ section at least, adding power switch at least on the back.

its great that supports all platforms for the network wired/wifi control. Also, please update ip setup with more obvious way to reset or manually put in on the device itself.

Hadn’t bought a decent set of headphones for DJing before (usually bought cheap 10 pairs but went through them) so felt like a lot of money to splash out on these, however, having only used them 5 or 6 times out and about so far I think they’re great and wonder why I didn’t make the leap earlier.

They sound great, are loud enough for my needs, and parts can be replaced. I chose to pay extra for the Plus as it has the longer coiled lead and I was sick of tangled straight leads. The headphone bag is nothing special but good to have a spare (straight) lead and set of ear pads.

Hopefully I won’t have to buy a new set for years to come now.

These headphones are fantastic. in the box you get the headphones which have the long coiled cable, a shorter strait cable (which i haven’t yet used), a pair of felt type material ear pads and a 3. 5mm to 6.

3mm jack adaptor that can be screwed on. the coiled cable has a straight 3. 5 mm jack and the straight cable has a right-angled 3. 5mm jack each have the option to add the screw on 6. 3mm jack adaptor.

The headphones themselves are extremely lightweight and fit tightly on to your head while still remaining comfortable. the headphones can go very loud and are consistently clear at the loudest volumes.

headphone is made of pretty much all strong, flexible plastic besides the drivers etc. and get pushed and pulled around in and out of my bag without breaking so suitable for a busy lifestyle. Another thing is how comfortable these are.

i did a 7-hour gig with the headphones in constant use and felt no fatigue or aching with my ears. Also where the sound cancellation is so good with these headphones i don’t have to have the level of them so high when i’m cueing songs, putting less strain on my ears.

I would highly recommend these headphones and they get another vote from me for being an industry standard. Absolutely worth the money.

The purpose of the airpods is that they are wireless bluetooth earbuds they are designated to work with either an iphone or a tablet. How I discovered the airpods was online on the apple website, I discovered the airpods back in 2019 when they were very popular.

Personally I saved up all of my christmas money and decided that the airpods were something that I wanted to invest in because as a runner, I love running and listening to music and since this product is bluetooth and it’s the easiest to run with.

For example, the main strengths of airpods is that they have secure in-ear fit meaning the airpods wouldn’t be falling out of your ear every minute. Like even when I am running during practice my airpods stay on safely and securely.

As well as the airpods come with a charger to charge the case. If it were to have come with a charger then it would have been an additional $20 charge. So the airpods are a good choice because for other wireless devices you would have to pay for an additional charge.

Also the charging case lasts up to 24 hours of it being charged. The airpods charge while in the case it’s really that simple. You can check the charge status of airpods when they are in the case, otherwise the light shows the charge status of the case.

It is very easy for me to charge the case and have the airpods last up to like 2 days without having to connect them. A weakness of the airpods is that if you were to lose them although it has it so you can track them it can be restarted and can no longer be tracked sadly.

It is something that occurred to me, I lost my airpods and have them connected to my phone so I will be able to track them. The reason is because someone restarted them so I can no longer be able to locate them any longer using my phone.

The person who stole my airpods switched the restart button from my airpods to their location instead without me being able to do anything. That is the major weakness of this product because they are pricey and for them to be replaced are expensive when they get lost and get restarted.

Overall I would give this product an A- because well to me airpods are a great investment. Mainly because I ride the bus and back, and I am a runner in cross country and track using earphones can be very irritating because at times they get tangled and they rip.

There aren’t many cons that I can relate to but there are still some. The main one that bothers me the most is that the case gets dirty very fast. I try to clean my case 1-2 times a week and it still finds a way to get back dirty.

If you feel like your AirPods or the case is getting dirty you should clean them because they may leave stains on them. I use a q-tip to clean them and I recommended those. Another con is that they are easy to lose because they are so small.

If you lose these you should go to an app where it lets you play a sound so you can find it. The AirPods(2nd generation) is a good product to use for sound. I would recommend others because I have had them for a couple of years and still use them today.

I would mainly recommend this to people who work a lot often. If I was to lose these I would buy another pair. I feel like it is worth my money because I work a lot and when I am working I use these.

The inevitable trip, getting caught on door handles, pulling the phone to the floor, never actually staying untangled – the list GOES ON for the wired AirPods. These are life changing. The weight off.

The quality, the range, the convenience, the longer stem, the fit, the sweat proof ness since I can actually focus on working out for once? Priceless. I may have paid the extra $70 for 3rd generation but upon comparing the design difference (these are longer and seem the same curve as the wired) I’m happy with mine albeit the waterproof ness would’ve been nice.

Just gotta be careful not to lose or place down near liquids or try to shower and swim. I keep mine in the case even not using, it’s magnetized which sucks them into place if you get the sides right (love that little pop it does when I do!).

I have beats pods and I really prefer te AirPods plastic to the rubber earpiece on beats, their smallest size still manages to slip out over time. AirPods stay put even with vigorous exercise, mine has yet to randomly fall out.

Their battery life isn’t the best so expect a 6 hour continuous loop of AirPod love until you gotta plug them back into their power holes. Still so very worth those 6 hours of wireless carefree audiogasm.

When you put the case in, the AirPods Pro gives you a completely different feeling than before that. The soft-textured leather case is the point that gives stability to the unstable AirPods. In particular, the very sophisticated airpod light holes are amazing.

The AirPods and leather cases fit perfectly enough to be thought to have been manufactured from the beginning as a single item. And when you open the lid to put on the AirPods, it feels very good that the charger part below is gently lifted.

The color has become darker because of the leather cream, and I will continue to use it and enjoy the change. Finally, the hook on the back looks suitable for hanging in the summer. If you can, I recommend you to buy a version with the key ring.

This is the second pod case I have purchase for my husband. (We also have the pros. ) Both have met or exceeded my expectations, and my husband absolutely loves him. He’s not super posh, but he appreciate the finer, manlier things.

This is no exception. The leather is super high quality. We have had our pro case for months. So, I had to get him another, and he LOVES them. He’s basically advertising them now. As soon as he opened it, we noticed the wonderful smell.

We love leather products so we could tell right away this was a good quality leather, and it is so sleek.

The leather is wonderful for this case. I got a matching case for my iPhone, and love the professionalism of the case. I immediately put on Andar’s leather cure to make sure the leather was protected, and it’s help up so far.

The only issue with the case is that he never I open the AirPod Pro’s lid, the body of the case is not secured, and comes out of the case as well. It’s nothing major, but for the price, I would expect a little bit better engineering.

Overall, however, love the product!.

I am a professional audio engineer and an acoustic guitar / singer soloist. I have found a few speaker systems that deliver accurate sound and many more that do not deliver. I purchased an Evolve 50 a little over a year ago and it is now my go-to speaker for performance.

My Martin Guitar sounds as natural as it possibly can and I love the way this speaker reproduces my voice. I use an Audix OM5 for my cabled vocal or a Shure Beta 87A if going wireless. I could not be any happier.

So far a single speaker has covered all of the different restaurant venues that I play. The Evolve 50 will get quite loud behind me, as I use it as a personal monitor and my Front of House System. There are two venues I play that I either wear in-ears or use a foldback monitor with the Evolve 50 in front of me, to avoid feedback because of the SPL needed to cover the crowd.

I have never been a big Electro Voice fan, but I love this speaker and recommended over the B*** or Turb****** **2000 or J** everyday. It reproduces keyboards, guitars, voice and tracks with amazing clarity.

As a solo performer with acoustic guitar and vocal, I have tried many products to find a speaker that would give me an accurate reproduction of my guitar. I had some issues with my 5th string feeding back with the Evolve 50 in my rehearsal room, more than usual, i notched the frequency and put a feedback buster in the sound hole.

I used the Evolve 50 at a party of about 40 people, in a warehouse, with a friend playing bass through my mixer into the EV. Lots of compliments, and no A string feedback. I believe the EV Evolve 50 is a good buy compared to other products in its class.

This product, in my opinion, will work great for solo acts, up to small cover bands. I would use an additional subwoofer if the band is using PA to support Bass Guitar or Kick Drum. My goal is to get my TC Helicon Voice Live Extreme 3 to interface between my instrument and vocal so I dont have to haul my mixer to my shows.

I have not tried plugging directly in and probably wont, as I need reverb to make it sound the way I want. When I read reviews I always want to know a little about the reviewer to help weigh their opinion.

Simply the best option in a flooded market of all-in-one line array portable PA systems. Build quality and sound quality is second to none. Only the new Bose 16 comes close in audio terms, but the cheap construction lets it down badly.

They don’t only connect from your iPhone but they can connect from your iPad, or Apple watch as well, which is great for when you don’t have your phone but still want to listen to music.

There are not many cons with AirPods, but there are a few. Air pods are really tiny, but that doesn’t affect the sound in any way, it only affects if it will stay in your ear for so long, or if they don’t fit your ears at all, because a lot of people tend to have a problem with them not fitting in everyone’s ears, and since they are so tiny, it is really easy for them to get lost or misplaced definitely if they fall out of your ear and you don’t even notice that they have fallen out.

They are also easy to get misplaced if you don’t put them back into the case right away after using them. All Apple products are pretty much waterproof, but I feel like this is the only product that is not waterproof, and if they keep improving and making better ones they should all be waterproof.

Airpods are not good for athletes, or for people who just like to work out because if you are doing a lot of moving with these AirPods in your ear 9 times out of 10 they will fall out. I highly recommend someone to buy AirPods.

They are good for everyone. If you are just chilling, or just love music, or want to talk on the phone they are really convenient to people who don’t like holding their phones up to their ear when they talk.

As I said before, everyone I know around me has AirPods and they are definitely great for teenagers. They will be a wonderful gift for someone, they are worth the price because the sound is amazing and they close out everything else around you.

Induces noise into the mids and highs when accubass is active. 18db rolloff at 30hz, making the low, low bass notes weak. Great for the average simple install. If you have anything with decent power, you’ll want the JL Audio LOC-22 and a dsp.

MUCH cleaner signal, true to the source. My highs sparkle like never before, no noise, no molested accubass “restoration”. They are only popular because of very limited choices. JL Audio product is far superior if you want proper signal to large systems.

As you can see in the pictures, the LOC -22 is installed, and it’s doesn’t need replacing sure to poor sound quality, unlike the AudioControl. Like I said, other far better options, accubass I’d overrated.

Period.

I bought this because my amp’s speaker level inputs were not good enough to get the proper bass I was looking for. I had to set my amp to maximum bass and then fiddle with the car equalizer settings to get a decent amount of bass.

This led to lower car overal audio quality. The LC2i boosted the signal by using it as my speaker level input and then using its rca out to my amp. The unit has gain control much stronger than the amp.

This feeds a clean and loud signal to my amp. The accubass I have not tested much but can provide even more bass boost if needed. Can’t wait to play more with this feature to make the car sound even better when turning it up using factory radio without need to adjust bass boost knob on the new sub.

I expected them to give the bass boost knob for the lc2i included in the purchases but they did not. I didn’t need it since my amp has one but I don’t like how they have that feature but is sold separately.

Works great so far, absolutely no issues. The unit itself is easy to install, all the wiring is a painful install. The auto on / auto off based on speaker input works great, turns on quick and turns off relatively quick.

The only reason I’d suggest another product is if you want a line out converter combined with an amp, because apparently Alpine makes a amplifier that has a line out converter integrated. One thing that makes install nice is that the terminals are removable.

Apple makes state of the art products, so I was surprised to find that these expensive ear pods were disappointing. I use them for music/video streaming and cannot comment on their performance in phone calls and noise cancellation.

The sound quality is clear, with good treble and midrange but not much bass. The maximum volume possible on my ipad and iphone is lower than I would like. Despite trying all the various ear tips included in the package, I find them uncomfortable and prone to slip off easily.

They do not seem to have the listening time between charges that Apple promises. For example, my charging case takes 4 hours or more to charge fully, whereas it is advertised as only an hour. I returned my first set to Micro Center because the recharge time seemed excessively long (up to 8 hours) but am having almost the same problem with the set I received in exchange.

This gets to another issue that potential buyers should be aware of. Due to Covid protocols, Micro Center is not allowing the normal 30-day period to return this product if you are not fully satisfied.

Covid is a bummer, so this policy seems sensible. But despite being assured by the sales agent and by Micro Center’s online tech support that I could return them if they were defective, when I tried to do so, my local Micro Center would only exchange them for a new set if I agreed to purchase an extended replacement warranty ($20 for 2 years).

What choice did I have? There are many brands of ear buds available in the market, but unfortunately there is no way you can try them before purchasing, nor can you necessarily return them if you’re not happy.

Caveat emptor! If I had to do it again, I would get recommendations from friends who use them for purposes like mine. My guess is that there are other choices out there that perform at least as well as the Apple AirPods but at much lower cost.

The looks, the protection, the clip! Went ahead and bit the bullet after, owning SEVERAL wireless earbuds, and bought the APpros. Kicking myself for waiting so long, and I became very nervous about lose or breaking them.

So, when I saw this case by GrooveLife… insta buy. Very cool look, and great protection. Oh, and it DOES wirelessly charge. Was have a few issues at first (not set properly on the charging pad) and now it’s doing what it was designed to do.

Happy buyer… but honestly, that’s not surprising. Own several products from GL… they all rock!.

The case is stylish and I Iike the gun metal finish. It’s a bit bulky, but needs to be to protect the case. I like the belt loop clip as it helps keep one less thing in my pocket. Jury is still out of it will wirelessly charge through the case with my charger.

I don’t want to have to keep taking it out to charge it. That will put undue stress on the case hinge. But, if you want a good strong case to protect your AirPods, I would recommend it. Be prepared to go from no corners to lots of corners on this new case.

Plus — very sturdy high quality package but I didnt realize when ordering that the lid in a separate piece that needs to be attached to the pid of your ipod case. In my view this makes it a bit less robust (could probably rectify with stronger magnets or single piece with hinge).

I was hoping ordering this case that I could feel secure attaching this to the outside of a bag, pant belt, ect but that is not a safe thing to do as I had the lid pop open and the airpods pop out a couple times when joggging up stairs or walking briskly.

You are likely to lose your airpods if you are buying with that intention.
