Once this little engine is Properly broken in and tuned it is a ton of fun! Installed in my Traxxas Nitro Rustler It does not have the kind of back flipping Torque of larger or more exotic engines but its top end absolutely screams.

Used this engine to replace the stock Coleman engine. With a few mods such as, removing the large red throttle plastic handle, swapping exhaust housings, (needed the stock 90 deg cover to keep fender from melting) loosening the throttle linkage, clocking the recoil start housing a few deg, buying a new 3/4 centrifugal clutch and larger crankshaft/jackshaft mounting bolts (5/16X24 fine) it bolted right in.
After filling oil/gas, I was pleasantly surprised at the torque this engine put out and how it fired up on the 3rd pull. Runs great and my daughter is happy! I will be swapping over the flywheel and lighting coils from the old engine as it looks like they’ll fit.
I’ll also have to swap the kill switch wiring from what’s on this engine to match the stock handlebar mounted switch. Bottom line: This is a great little engine, everything runs as it should and has a nice price point!.
Well it came with plenty of extras, thinking high elevation jets. Does it have more power,. Yes. The muffler doesn’t seem as quiet as the stock 212. Seems a little obnoxious. And they moved the muffler studs a few mm on center so the 212/6.
5 hp. Muffler won’t fit without some “rigging” intake is different and figure nothing from the base level 6. 5 this was cloned from will fit at this point. So for that I’m docking a star. I would dock 3 stars but that would be a jerk.
In the end this is a mild stroker by 3mm. To the 212. It does have noticeable more power. The 6. 5 I run 3-3/4” pulley on compressor. This 6. 6 I’m running a 4-1/2” pulley on same compressor and it could probably pull more.
I was Not pushing the 6. 5 so it’s not a mountain of difference but enough to note and confidently say so. I’m just ?!$$3d nothing fits from the 212. No spare parts. Oh well. For the money I would buy again.

The description is accurate but not perfect. The alignment of the parts is not perfect, but they are not OEM fairings so that is to be expected. Some holes needed to be drilled and some holes needed to be enlarged to fit onto the frame but none of these modifications are deal breakers.
Anyone with a normal assortment of drill bits and patience can make these fairings fit almost perfectly. I bought these to put my CBR600f3 on the track. It will never see the road and these fairings were perfect for it.
The price absolutely cannot be beat. The whole kit is less than the main front fairing from Sharkskinz. Sure the fitment is not as good but if you’re on a budget like I am and want to spend your time on the track and not saving for fairings then this kit is perfect.

This exhaust system fit well, and sounds great! Very happy with my purchase. The only thing I would change is the heat shield. It’s mounted closer to the head pipe than the original exhaust, so it gets considerably hotter, and will burn you, if you’re not careful.

My first upgrade was from 1600w/48v to 1800w48v, then to 2000w60v. Now this 3000w72v, each time was improvement. But this 3000w really did the trick. It fits scooter, same bolt pattern, same chain (T8F) HUGE ECM, but motor will get really HOT.

I did some flow testing on the carb and several runs on the dyno. Very nice torque numbers right out of the box. The curve was smooth with no dips. Carb flows very well and was tuned perfectly for racing.
Rock solid out of the box. Turn it about 5,500 to 5,800 and this will be a beast out of the corners. Great low end torque. If HF keeps these stocked this class will take off across the country. The nation wide availability, affordable price, and great power in a dependable engine format will hopefully help this engine become a budget karting platform across the country.
Out of the box it is a peppy little engine with need for very little modification. Replaced the carburetor with a Mikuni and intake manifold, billet flywheel and backing plate, tossed the coil for a non rev limiter one and of course-added a header and fuel tank.
For the price-you can’t beat it even with adding the mods. It has decent power out of the box and like the base model Predator 212 it can easily be built up-depending how far you want to take it. My opinion; change the flywheel, backing plate for safety along with a non rev limiting coil for some substantial gains.
For me it was a good purchase at a discounted price. The quality over all is decent and what I changed would have been changed anyway.

My father in-law owns a concrete business and had problems with the engine on his compactor. And on the compactor was a Honda GX140 which I assume has been discontinued because I couldn’t find a new one that size anywhere.

This has to be the biggest and most beefy engine Ive seen in R/C, anything larger Id assume came out of a Ferrari. Unfortunately I never got to install it. It wouldnt fit the application Id bought it for, however the build and smoothness of all the moving parts showed that extreme attention had been paid in building this monster.

Impossible to start to break in. I couldn’t get more then a sputter from time to time. It was about 60 degrees outside when I was trying to start mine for the first time in my 4. 6 X Savage. Finally after wearing out my arm I put a Roto Start System on it and swapped it for a medium glow plug.
a OS #8 and after cranking with my HPI Roto Starter got it started. It ran horrible but it ran and I went through the tedious break in for 8 tanks of fuel. By tank 4 it was running and starting better but still a pain to keep going at times.
Be Patient. By tank 9 I leaned out the high needle one turn in and the low speed needle one turn and cannot keep the wheels on the ground! This engine is a Beast! It starts very easy now and simply has more power then I know what to do with! It is a ripping Beast.
So be patient. I suggest you warm your cylinder head with a hair drier for first time starting if it is cooler outside until this engine gets broken in or highly recommend a Roto Start for it. In the end you will be more then pleased with it! it is one of the best engines I have bought.
And I am a OS man. Very happy with this powerhouse of a engine! Also FOLLOW the Instructions! Use 25% fuel! I could not get mine to run well on 20%. it really wants what the Manufacturer suggest. 25%.

I’ve been in the Savage nitro shocks for about 15 years I’m going to replace my 5 9 with this new lrp 32 my son has a l r p 28 the 28th is a nasty engine and itself why but the 32 almost puts out 4 and 1/3 horsepower that’s insane engine is lightweight and if it’s anything like my son is 28 it should destroy my truck in one season I’ve been in the nitro RC stuff for about 35 years now the price for this engine you’re not going to do any better I only know from my son’s engine it runs extremely well stays running and has a massive power if you purchase one of these break it in right and good luck I can’t wait to enjoy mine it makes you just waiting for the weather to break y’all have a nice holiday now outstanding!
