So Im never one to shy away from ingesting chemicals because how else am gonna mutate into an X-Man? However my body simply hates me if I drink too much Bang, Monster, Reign, etc. So this stuff is always in my rotation, plus I get my vitamins in for the day when I do.

When using it in a water bottle I always recommend adding the powder when you are able to focus on the process with the lid ready to put back on. Also give the vial a hard tap on something hard to make sure the powder all drops into the water bottle quickly.

It would seem that nothing could ever go wrong with the process right? Wrong. Dont be paying attention or start to fumble with the lid after the powder slowly comes out of the vial. Then youll know what I mean.

Its an ok product. Each individual tube is sealed with the plastic on top and hard to get into. Thats kind of annoying. The flavor is good. Do not fill glass of water too full. Fill half way because the powder when stirred in, really foams up.

It can be a mess. Stir in powder with half glass of water and when foam settles then add rest of water. All in all, I probably wouldnt buy thos product again.

I wish there was an option for 6 stars. My son calls this my “power up” This tastes delicious without the artificial sweetener after taste. It’s also so convenient to bring wherever I go and just add it to whatever water I’m drinking.

Try adding vanilla coffee creamer! First time I tried this was at Marketplace. The guy was adding vanilla coffee cream to the orange flavor. I was hooked! I love Creamsicles ❤So I believe that was about 2008 and I have been drinking them since!! I have since used the vanilla creamer in the fruit punch and grape! Fruit punch is my first favorite now, then the orange and then I drink the grape.

My only few complaints is the single flavors only come with 20 instead of 30 so it makes it hard when I drink 2 a day to buy the right amount for the month. My next complaint would be packaging. While myself I just use my teeth to pull open the tab and rip through the plastic, Im NOT at all recommending it.

They are hard to get into and its a lot of wastedplastic if you drink as many as myself. Unless you have a repurpose for them like beads or something 🤔. Oh and I should mention that they are called zipfiz for a reason.

In the beginning they fiz a lot so make sure 1. You are making room in your water bottle by taking a drink first. 2. Shake it fast and RELEASE THE AIR!. if your like me, I get I big cup with lid,put 6 ice cubes, a bit of vanilla coffee creamer, the zipfiz, then water, lid, shake, release the air, shake again.

ENJOY. I say its better to start out with a little bit of creamer and add to taste to get that yummy Creamsicle taste your looking 😋 for. Enjoy.

Orange Pineapple is bomb too. Trust me. Also, I think the other reviewer is confused because Energy has 10 and Hydrate has 16. The TruLabs website has Energy as costing more so it must be the same here.

I only use this product after a lung-busting anaerobic interval workout which is about 2x’s/week (1 cycling and 1 running or brick). It has helped my recovery that I track with my Sweetbeat HRV. I recover faster and more complete and find myself mentally and physically ready for another quality tough workout.

Mixes easy with a blender bottle and tastes good (chocolate). Doesn’t give you a unhealthy spike in carbs or insulin. I feel this is the best protein/recovery mix I’ve ever used. I’m going to try to talk my local running/triathlon shop into carrying this product so I don’t have to order it online.

Wow, this is an amazing product. I used to struggle on bike rides lasting more than an hour. No matter what kind of snacks I would consume I would struggle to keep up with my fellow cyclists. With this product I actually get a burst of energy about an hour after consuming that lasts the remainder of the bike ride.

This is best for us in a smoothie or mixed in creamer and drank in coffee. Tastes like chalk pretty much. I like the way I feel and will order it for that. Will try baking with it next.

I LOVE it! I drink it every day. It mixes easily in a shaker bottle and tastes good. I get steady energy from around 6am-2pm, and it gets me through pretty intense daily workouts with no crash. For my afternoon pick-me-up, I love these drinks! I add some ACV and turmeric to it and it gives me more much needed water, not to mention the power of the mushrooms. The flavor isn’t too overpowering nor too sweet-just perfect.

It was five hours since a rather light breakfast, I was hungry and heading out on a 90 minute ride. Normally a recipe for a bonk. I drank a bottle of Roctane and headed out. I had great energy for the ride.

I have a pretty sensitive stomach and Roctane has never bothered me. Bottom line, it really works and it tastes great. No nasty aftertaste.

I think this product tastes great – especially with ice on a hot day. It is rather light in flavor, not as sweet as some fruit flavored drinks can be and is generally easy to drink. Getting a whopping 250 calories is also just what you need sometimes.

I like to alternate between this with it’s taste and 250 calories and another brand that is sweeter, fewer in calories but contains a little protein which I find helps keep me from blasting my quads.

The only suggestions I have for GU on this product is to try and reduce the packaging size so it’s easier to stuff extras in your vest. There is kind of a lot of empty space in the envelope. I would also change up the packaging to something with a different texture and is not as glossy and slick.

With wet hands and under duress from racing I struggled to grip the package and tear it open. My fingers just kept slipping and I literally had to use my teeth to tear it open. I’ve never had any problems tearing open the other product that I use that from another manufacturer that is also sold in little self serve envelopes so I was surprised by it.

Super psyched on this Strawberry Hibiscus flavor. I like to use non-caffeinated roctane for daily training (reserving the caffeinated flavors for big efforts, races etc. , so I don’t build up a tolerance to caffeine, it affects me significantly, so I use it accordingly).

Before this flavor I used the Grape, which I like too. This Strawberry Hibiscus flavor is not as sweet and has a slight tangy / salty aspect, which I really like. Honestly not a big fan of Strawberry usually but with the Hibiscus, the flavor profile is perfect, tases like a good mexican Jamaica drink, I love this it’s for sure my Favorite Roctane Flavor!.

I am not typically a fan of flavored drink supplements, but this one is actually great. I’ve been using it for about a week, and I’ve really noticed an increase in my energy during my workout. I mix it with orange juice or one of my shakes and it tastes great.

The açaí bowl flavor is super fruity and really doesn’t have any bitterness I pick up in other supplements I have tried. The product is easy to mix and dissolves easily, so there’s no powdery texture to your drink.

It isn’t super sweet either. I’ve noticed myself taking less breaks than before and I even still feel energized after my workout. I really recommend this one.

I gave 2 stars because I really like cassey and think she does put her heart into what she did, however this drink leaves much to be desired. The flavor is not good at all and it does nothing for me.

To be fair I do have a high caffeine tolerance, but still I’ve had ” stim free” pre’s that have more effect than this. overall wouldn’t buy this again, but I still will try things from this line.

I was given a single shot one to try, and as a consequence went out and bought a bulk pack. I don’t normally like blackcurrant drinks, but this is surprisingly pleasant. It dissolves really well, and is very gentle on the stomach.

I’ve now switched my cycling drinks completely over to OTE. I’m currently using the blackcurrant one and the vanilla one; both are great.

Really easy to digest, not too sweet. Pretty much perfect. Only tiny thing that could be improved perhaps is the thickness of the packaging of each individual gel. It is a little too wide/thick and hurts the side of mouth when squeezing out gel.

But not a massive problem, gel itself is great!.

I do so much enjoy this flavour of gel. However I am most disappointed with the packaging. For me, when I attempt to drink from it the sharp edges cut into the side of my mouth causing me discomfort.

Also when using from the ” Tear Here to Gulp ” more than once it has gushed out onto my carpet. I take one before leaving on my bike, but drink it from a glass. I am trying to be helpful, but am , at the moment feeling reluctant to reorder.

If you want this with added electrolytes, make sure you get “GO Energy electrolyte”. slight change in packaging appearance, made this mistake. However, tastes ok and mixes well after a lot of shaking.

Like all SIS products this is decent. Flavour is nice and it seems to keep energy levels topped up on long distance rides. It doesn’t have electrolytes however, so I add electrolyte tabs to it to help with cramping up.

I got the Orange Energy Drink in a pouch with the one-week ammo can supply which I’m using as a sampler to try the food out for flavor etc. , which I’m basing the review on; I also have a #10 can of it for emergencies which I expect to be pretty close to the same experience.

At a glance at the directions, I’m not sure “energy drink” is an accurate description – “soft drink” might be more like it, as this resembles very closely the usual popular sugary powdered drinks we all enjoyed as kids.

One pouch makes two quarts, but I only had a one-quart pitcher to work with, and the pouch doesn’t include a scoop, so I sort of “eyeballed” the measurement of a half-pouch. The drink looks and smells good enough – fairly normal for an orange powdered soft drink.

As I preparedit, it does have a sweet, mildly orange flavor, and tasted best chilled. The flavor seems maybe just a tad weak as a first impression, but quickly grew on me – youngsters might prefer a bit more mix and a bit less water the way I made it, but I might have measured poorly, and perhaps the second quart might turn out a bit sweet.

I’m not complaining. Either way, it was enjoyable enough: a powdered soft drink of this sort is probably not a survival necessity, but I can easily see it being a small morale booster as an addition to a long-term emergency food supply: a little treat from time to time to keep spirits up, and to help kids keep their mind off of things through a cold, hard winter, or as a refreshment on a hot summer day.

I’ve a feeling adults would do well to keep a stock of coffee instead, or alongside of this orange drink, and a lot of Americans might quckly start wishing for their favorite carbonated soft drinks instead, but this orange drink isn’t a bad addition to your emergency stores.

I’m a bit surprised I didn’t see MyPatriotSupply carrying a lemon drink of this sort, now that I think of it. My local supermarket does carry some large cans of lemonade of this sort which would be similar enough, though, and I think I’ll restock can of that to store alongside the orange drink.

In fact, where the #10 can is concerned, you might get more value from buying some powdered soft drink mixe packets and sugar at your local grocer or supermarket: they might not be packaged for long-term storage like MyPatriotSupply’s drink mix is, but the price is maybe a little better, and the grocery store version will surely last well enough.

Where MyPatriotSupply’s product really shines, I expect, will be in the packaging of this drink in pouches for MyPatriotSupply’s emerency food kits, to supplement the contents of those kits as drinks.

I’m going to make a general statement about their products, I have tried just about everything, it has not disappointed me yet. A lot of people I know are worried they will not like the taste of freeze dried products but here you won’t have to.

I’m from Louisiana and learned how to cook early in life and have taught myself to get creative when cooking by adding seasoning and other veg’s/meat to the soups to make a very hardy meal. These products are the best I tasted, with the times changing right before us do yourself a favor and stock up now.
