My 8 year old was ecstatic to receive this as a gift. Perfect for “battle” for any Minecraft fan. Looked great on arrival but after a days play, all the corners are scuffed. Free courier delivery and arrived within 2 days.

Always had a good experience buying from bargain max. I would recommend. Prices really competitive too.

Gave it an average because it’s not bad. But seems like it wasn’t kept in a proper handled environment there are weird spots on it and the paint at the top is also kinda coming off. Because it was a gift it didn’t look very presentable it only looks good from afar since the spots aren’t visible.

My son loves this pick axe. I love that he couldn’t break it. I had already purchased the diamond sword previously for his Halloween costume so when he wanted a pick axe for Christmas it was a no brainer where to buy it from.

My son loves mine craft & the play swords & things they make for pretend play. Usually they’re made out of a thick foam, are just as expensive but because it’s all foam never usually lasts for very long.

But this one has a sturdy thick hard plastic casing over the foam part so I don’t think this one will tear up as easy as the others! And it’s super simple, you just pull up on the top to make it a sword & it locks in place or you give it a good push back down to make it the pic axe.

I for see this being a huge hit for his bday, & actually worth what I paid compared to the other mind craft swords!.

The toy was fine and my son enjoyed it. However, I ordered the item site to store. When I picked up the item, there was a HUGE scratch down the middle of it. It was completely damaged. The associate at the store opened the shipping box in front of me, so I know it wasn’t damaged at the store.

Someone at the warehouse packed an obviously damaged item. Then, I had to return it and reorder it online, and make a second trip to Walmart to pick it up. The second one was fine. Glad I have the item but i am very hesitant to do business with Walmart.

My son will be Steve for Halloween and this along with a mask from Etsy will be perfect. He was thrilled and has played with it every day. There are some foam swords that are cheaper but this has some heavy duty plastic and easily transforms to a pickaxe which my son loves.

I recommend spending the extra couple of bucks. It will hold up well and looks good.

I bought this a month before my grandsons birthday. Wrapped it up not checking it. Didn’t want to damage box so gave it to my grandson he opened it and it’s chipped. Too late for refund. Shouldn’t need to check.

Brought for my son’s birthday. Is a really nice mug and I’m sure he’s going to love the shape and design. It’s a good size, made well and durable.

An enjoyable story of christmas and its important to think of others too. Read this book and feel full of christmas joy after. Would highly recomend to anybody with a love of christmas

If you find the sound stops working then grab a small philips screwdriver and let’s go! You’re also going to need a small plastic drinking straw (like what you get with a carton drink). Remove the 9 screws that hold the cover over the speaker in place and remove the cover.

On the inside of the cover you’ve just removed you’ll find a small plastic pin dead in the centre, pop the straw over it and cut it off so that the straw is a couple of mm taller than the plastic pin.

Now pop the cover back on, doing the screws up nice and tight, and the plastic straw will be applying some pressure to the speaker and you should have sound again!.

My kids were very excited to try out this sword. They are HUGE Minecraft fans! They absolutely love bright colors, the fact that it looks like something right out of the game and the sound effects. But they did have some issues with it.

They did not like the fact that there was no on and off switch (my oldest is always concerned about wasting batteries) and that there was no volume control. They both felt that it was too loud and asked me if I could put tape over the speaker.

They also felt it was too heavy. After swinging it around for a little while, their little arms grew tired and then they didn’t want to play with it any more. The sword is also supposed to change colors and sound effects by swinging it, but unless I was the one swinging it or they were swinging really really hard, it didn’t work.

Its like the sensor for that was sensitive enough for the weaker strength of a child. The sword is also very large, so with the combination of the size, the weight and the fact that they have to swing it extremely intensely to get it to respond, it got them quite frustrated.

It seems like it is more suited to an older child like 10+ which seems silly because I don’t see kids that age playing with something like this by the time they reach that age. All in all its a cute toy that my kids enjoy but I know they would enjoy more if there were a few small changes that would make play easier and more enjoyable for them!.

My son got this for Christmas, he played with it few hours and sound stopped working, we felt embarrassed to ask our friends for receipt but our son was really disappointed so we did. next day we exchanged it for another one which has worked fine only 2 months and the same problem with sound occurred.

We will exchange for something else this time, not worth 30 pounds at all. Also should have volume button because it is very loud for parents especially in the morning lol.

This game is a win on so many levels for young kids and families! It fosters creativity, problem solving, spatial orientation, planning and preparation and even simple math and reading. We have 4 sons ages 2-13.

The toddler isn’t quite old enough yet but still likes to see what his big brothers build. The older ones play in creative mode to experiment with various builds, as well as survival mode which challenges them to use resources to overcome obstacles.

Mom and Dad even get in on the action as the screen can be split with multiple players, and Dad at our house is an IT professional who set up a private server that allows us to play across platforms via emulators.

We use Minecraft as a reward for chores and good behavior and do a lot of family “missions” and crafting time after dinner. Of course, kids are going to love the March that comes with the fandom (t-shirts, toys, Lego sets) but it’s a unique and creative fandom, so we grownups don’t mind.

The updates released periodically always have something new to look forward to. I could take off half a star maybe for the periodic glitches associated with them, but these issues are relatively minor and to be expected with any similar product.

This game is totally worth the investment if you’re looking for family-friendly fun, or a digital creative outlet full of challenges and go-at-your-own-pace feel.

I honestly hated Minecraft when I first tried it a few years ago on Xbox. It felt tedious, confusing, and hard to discern what was what due to the pixelated graphics. Decided to give it another go on the Switch and now I can’t put it down.

The graphics are way better on the Switch, and I feel like the overall gameplay experience is much better than it was on Xbox. I wanted to play solo, and was very pleased to be able to do so w/o making a Microsoft account.

It loads up impressively fast and is ideal for those who love creating. If you don’t love combat, I recommend the Survival Mode set on Easy. That way you have the monsters (who give important loot) but you aren’t killed every two seconds.

Also, this is a game for those who like some grind. I’m currently building a big fort and it’s taking an age, but I love it. There are a zillion options and while the in game help is limited, there is an ocean of info online.

The game does have a text only help manual you can read up on, but your brain hits overload pretty quick. So this is a learn as you go game. You learn something, use that tool/concept for a while, then look up something new and add that in.

Loads of fun, great for chilling out, yet really gives you that satisfying sense of productivity as you see your buildings forming and your processes becoming more efficient. There are epic challenges for those who want that, and there’s no rule that you have to stay put.

It’s an open world, so you can explore forever without bothering with a home base. Or you can build your own ultimate home base which you later transport villagers into. Or you can just join one of the established villages that exist in the world.

The other NPCs don’t dialogue with you, they just make noises, offer you trades, show some degree of emotion, and/or try to kill you, lol. It’s a huge learning curve, but there are plenty of rewards along the way so you can take your time.

If you don’t like the place you start in, find a better spot or just launch a new world. Each world is randomly generated. I find the detail easier to see with the Switch in my hands as opposed to squinting at a TV monitor.

And if like me, you have no sense of direction, then be sure to make yourself some paths and landmarks so you can keep track of how to get home! But worst case scenario, you can always rebuild from scratch because it’s such an open, open world.

I am not the one who can give an honest review, but my children can. They love everything Minecraft. They are obsessed with this game and take it very seriously. As a parent, I have to say I approve.

My children have learned a lot. It forced my youngest to read because she had to read the words on the screen to get her supplies together. So her reading skills grew drastically from there. My oldest son uses math skills while playing and is in the 5th grade and they are putting him in a 6th grade math class.

I hate playing that game with a passion, but it really benefits kids! It is costing me money though!.

This is a great, sturdy axe. My kids have already swung it around multiple times, and it is holding strong. My kids all love Minecraft so I got this to double as room decor when they’re not playing with it.

It hasn’t spent much time on the wall yet because one of them is always grabbing it, but it is an awesome decoration too. It has survived being dropped and tossed several times with no problems yet. Very well made.

My 8 year old says this toy is really fun. He enjoys pretending he is mining “cool stuff” with it. He’s a big Minecraft fan and this helps getting him using his imagination. His 5 year old brother also enjoys it.

This toy feels like it is pretty durable, especially considering it is being hit on things. The colors are great and it looks like ones found in the games.

We bought this to complete my son’s Halloween costume and it was the perfect addition. The sword is not flimsy at all but is made of sturdy plastic. In fact, my younger son had the genius idea to throw the sword which hit the wall and left a dent in the wall.

The sword is fine. Recommend it for costumes and play (that does not involve hitting). Do not recommend for throwing at walls.

My son loves this! I bought this for him for pretend play and not Halloween. He has played with it everyday since September and it hasn’t broken. He says it looks like the real thing from minecraft.

This is way better quality than I expected! I, clearly, did not read the full description because I was expecting foam or super cheap and flimsy plastic. The sword is a much nicer, heavier plastic that will last well into playing after Halloween.

This diamond pickaxe is awesome! It’s a good weight, easy to hold and the foam in a nice thickness. The colouring is good and overall I’m very impressed with the product. The only reason that this doesn’t get 5 stars from me is that the glue used to make it seems to have been a strong yellow and has discoloured some of the foam, although not very noticeable still a slight flaw.

Awesome overall though.

I was very surprised at how sturdy this was. Well made, lightweight and very good value. An excellent addition to any Minecraft collection. Good value for money and a great gift. Very impressed!

I was expecting this to be quite a flimsy, thin foam item but I’m surprised at just how well-made it is. Nice thick, hard foam with bright, vivid colouring. Bought it for my son – who is obsessed with all things Minecraft – to go with the sword he already owns and, even after being played with several times a day, it still looks just as good as it did when he received it.

My six year old was excited to recieve a Minecraft Diamond Sword. The packaging consisted of a simple cardboard sheath to hang on a store peg. You get what you see. A good quality replica Minecraft sword that will satisfy young Minecraft fans.

The sword is well constrcted and is hard plastic. I was partially expecting something of foam, so this is definitely for an older child who will know better than to use it as a potential weapon. That being said, my six year old enjoyed role playing with it for a bit, but now its more decoration in her room.

A great replica for any Minecraft fan, but I do not see much longterm playability.

My 7 year old son loves Minecraft. When he saw the item, he immediately knew what it was. He said wow that’s a Minecraft Diamond sword. He swung the sword around a bit and said he really liked it. He was receiting info about the sword and how it works in Minecraft.

As his dad, I know nothing about Minecraft and thought the sword was lacking and plain. I figured the sword would more play features like lights or sounds or to be able to extend. However, my son loves it and liked that the Diamond sword looks like the one in the game that he plays.

Must really like Minecraft or know the game to be appreciate the item. Perfect item for a Minecraft lover.

My son’s, 6 and 10, both absolutely love this sword. In fact, my 6 year old hasn’t put it down. He’s carried with us everywhere and loves how to brings Minecraft to real life for him. It doesn’t light up and there’s nothing special about it, it’s literally just a plastic sword but he has had so much fun with already.

My kids took it outside and beat down snow men with it and we haven’t had any issues with cracking or scratching yet. I think it’s a great toy to bring out imaginative play and they’re asking for more.

It fits perfectly in their little hands and lets them be real-life Steve’s!.

My son loves this, but it isn’t durable. It really shouldn’t be sold as a toy. The plastic stabilizer rod is poking out through the pommel on both sides, and some of the color has chipped off – he’s only had this since February.

He has other swords that we bought secondhand when he was a baby (he’s 5) that are in better condition!. I wish I would’ve known how cheaply it was made, because I wouldn’t have bought it for him. 2 stars only because my son loves Minecraft.

My son loves this sword. It’s very durable, we have had our Minecraft swords for several months and they have held up perfectly. They are expensive at around $20 a piece but the kids love them and they are still like new even though they have fought off several zombies.

I bought this sword for my six year old grandson, and it doesn’t do anything. I thought it would glow in the dark or something. But nothing. What a waste of money! I was discussed and so was he!!

Lightweight, comfortable grip handle and extremely well made! I bought 3 different types and they all look Minecraft original in colour. The material is strong and sturdy.

Was surprisingly shocked that it was actual plastic and not foam since it’s technically a Halloween prop. My son will get to keep it as a toy plus use with his costume this year! Definitely worth the $10!.

It’s a good prop for the Minecraft costumes. The only thing I did not like is how it’s a bit thick in the handle part and I have big hands. It should have been made to have a better grip on it. I don’t see holding it for long.

This was a great toy to add to my grandsons Minecraft collection. He loved the color changing accessories. It was slightly difficult to keep the small amount of water cold enough to activate the color changing effect but he didn’t mind and continued to play with the set.

The figure is well made and holds up to active playing, I wish I could say the same for the block accessories. The wall and block accessories are made out of coated cardboard which end up getting crushed almost immediately.

With this set it was inevitable that the cardboard pieces would also get wet and ruined.

Overall, I have to give this a favorable rating~ My kids were incredibly excited to receive, they enjoyed playing it, they still reach for it, and some of the pieces are decent quality. With that being said, the color changing feature was a very cool concept, but didn’t work very well.

I was, also, a little bummed that many of the pieces were just cheaply cardboard that I almost recycled by accident- it’s not a huge factor, since these are background pieces. I do think the Minecraft Room Playset Collection would be a blast for my kids all together, and I’m sure we will be adding to it.

This really served the purpose! My daughter dressed up as ‘Durga maata’ and I used this as an Asthra (weapon) for her dance performance. I just spray painted all the black part in gold, so as to make it look more realistic.

We ordered this for my son’s Halloween Costume the week before Halloween. I paid a ridiculous amount for shipping to make sure the costume got to us in time. When we opened the box 3/4 days before Halloween only part of this accessory was in the box.

We received the long handle part but not the blade. I had requested to have the missing part shipped overnight to get to us in time for Halloween. I did not get a response to my request until Halloween day, so obviously we did not have a complete costume.

I was never given the option to receive the rest of what I paid for, I was told I could return the part I had received or get 15% off my purchase price and keep what part we had. To me if I paid extra to have the items shipped to me for a certain occasion and the seller forgets to include all of the parts, they should have taken care of it right away and paid whatever they needed to get me the rest of my purchase.

We were absolutely thrilled with this golden trident! My husband decided to dress up as Poseidon this Halloween and we looked all over for an acceptable trident. After comparing cost, style and overall believab-ility (some of the tridents looked really dumb/fake.

) we finally made it here to Party City’s website and decided on this one. We saw the comment about how the trident arrived broken, but for the cost and time we had on our side, we decided to chance it.

I’m so glad that we did! It came packaged incredibly well — all in one piece in a 5ft by 1. 5ft sturdy box with lots of air bubble packing material. We ended up modifying it a bit to fit more in with the sea-theme so you can see from the picture what it looked like! 🙂 For the cost of this thing (with the free shipping code, we got it within 5 days!) I can’t believe they made any money on it after the free shipping and the quality of the packaging but we were VERY happy with it and will definitely be back in the future for our Halloween costume needs!.

I have 6 year old son and he was so thrilled to receive this Minecraft Nether Portal. The mystery of possibly finding real gold dipped treasure is even exciting for the parent, as well as the child. This was so much fun! The packaging is exciting and colorful and upon opening, you don’t exactly what you are going to find until you mine through the substance to find all of your pieces, and you will definitely have one of 3 character pairs.

Minecraft Nether Portal has endless possibilities with unlimited fun. I plan on purchasing some more of these Minecraft goodies as stocking stuffers for the Holidays!.

I have a 15 year old son who is a big fan of Minecraft. When this toy arrived he was pretty excited to put it all together. He wanted to skip reading the instructions but I convinced him to be patient as I had seen a craft toy review on YouTube but that one had sand in it.

I had so much fun watching him carve all the pieces out of the gel like substance that I wanted to dig in! After he cleaned up the pieces the Netherworld portal acts like a box to keep your toys together.

He has a 9 year old brother who also loves Minecraft but chose not to take part in the crafting, but he is now actively playing with the toys in a pretend village in his room. This toy was successful in getting my boys off their video games for a bit and so I think I’ll be buying some more of these crafting toys as Christmas stocking stuffers.

My son loves Minecraft and treasureX so I got this for a fun surprise. Pretty cool that’s it’s a “nether portal” and he got a couple of characters out of it which was fun for him. The reason I’m giving it 4 starts is because I feel like treasureX toys are starting to get more easy to do.

They’re not very challenging so it only takes a couple of minutes and it’s done. I would say it’s not worth the full price in my opinion but you’ll pay that for the characters along if you bought them individually.

It is fun, I would just say don’t expect the fun to last too long. It’s a pretty quick activity.
