I was hesitant buying this after seeing the only customer review on this site being very poor. However, I was in the market, and Oriental Trading offered the lowest price! So I bought it anyway! lol Just received it in the mail (very fast shipping) Yes, it’s your typical plastic costume accessory, but this thing is awesome! Perfect for my son to dress up and play with!! Full sized sword, very sturdy, worth the $20.

The details are spot on and it’s official licensed merchandize from Nintendo.

I bought two, one for my son to play with and the other so I could keep it and put it on display. The sword is weighty and is made exceptionally well – it’s plastic but it’s not flimsy in any way. I wouldn’t say these are for play as they aren’t as soft as other play swords so I wouldn’t recommend it for any rough play.

My eldest saw the sword and wanted it also so there goes my display one. The things we do to keep out kids happy. A great purchase for any Zelda fan – highly recommended.

This sword and shield are so very nice. I bought it for my grandson and he loves it! It’s very well made and it looks and feels durable. I just received it today. It’s the perfect size for a 4 yr old.

My grandson is a big boy. Not fat, tall. It has two straps that hold the shield in place on your arm. I read some reviews that said the paint was coming off after using a little time. If that happens I will update my review.

The sword edge is round. Nothing that will hurt anybody. No rough edges that I can feel. The shield is perfectly rounded and also very well made. Great lion details on the shield. I love how the sword can slide into the back of the shield for storage and play.

Got this for my son for Halloween, he has already been playing with it and he LOVES it. So far it is holding up just fine. Seems like good quality. The only thing is that the paint has already started coming off on the sword but other than that, they are a great combo.

Won the fancy dress! : Probably the most authentic Gladiator/Roman costume on the market, looked brilliant. The attention to detail was excellent, enough Velcro to stick everything together and hold well, I added a few pins to make it tighter around the chest.

It also survived a very drunken messy night!The only faults were my own: Personally find it hard to find a fancy dress that fits small men also, the pin that came with it wasn”t really sharp enough to push through all the material.

Bought for my grandson and he loves it. It looks so real but actually lightweight and safe so he can play his role modelling which is his favourite pastime. It has both gilt and silver colouring on it which matches the pretend chain mail on his outfit.

Its good that it comes as 3 parts a sword, axe and shield too as in most cases its either a sword and shield or axe and shield. Id definitely recommend this item and its a good price for all three.

I purchased two of these sword for my 5 years old and my 3 years old boys. So the product is well made and not fragile or easily breakable. One of the sword was a bit bent inside the box but it is plastic so twist it the other side and it should be fine.

Now a little warning these are not foam whatsoever so if kids whack each other with it, they can hurt. Other than that the price is really good for what you get, I thought it was going to be a tiny piece but it is pretty good size specially for young children.

I bought this sword to go with my pirate costume for Halloween. For whatever reason, my grandson said I had to wear a costume to go trick or treating with him and his little brother. Since they were little pirates, I decided to be one, too.

I couldn’t beat the price of this sword. It worked perfectly with my costume; it slid right into the side of my belt. At the end of the evening, my grandson asked for it and I didn’t get it back; I didn’t expect to, either.

It’s a plastic sword, nothing special, right size for kids. I purchased for my 6yo Halloween pirate costume and it was perfect. The plastic blade is flimsy, so I’m not sure how long it would last as a toy for boys (especially if they play rough – I imagine it would bend in half or snap).

I purchased these for fun but me and my family have been playing with them and we’ve made so many cool games and videos with them! The swords are super fun to battle with and swing around. There’s 6 different colors they can change to.

There’s a feature that allows the light staff to separate and become two different parts! two in one! There are three different modes for the light speed. There’s solid color, this doesn’t change at all.

There’s a fast flash feature and a slow flash feature. All of these modes appear bright and incredibly cool in the dark. There’s so many different things you can do with this. There are motion sensors that detect when you swing the light saber, you can change your color as you swing! The saber expands out to 29.

5 inches. The plastic is very durable and can withstand hours of play. There’s even sound effects, on the first two light modes there are sound effects behind each swing! There’s also a soundtrack option to listen to while battling.

This has to be awesome gifts ever for my kids. They are light plastic so its suitable for young kids. They can play with each other and it doesn’t hurt when they drop them. The fascinating thing about them is that when touched, they make the sounds like in the movie.

same with when they moving it around. Colors can be changed but not individual colors. Two swords can be connected easily with the plastic piece. If you don’t keep it organized, you can lose it really easy because it’s small.

Other than that, they are fantastic lights for kids and maybe for adults as well.

Can’t say enough about these great light sabers! They are toys, so expect plastic and not fully adult sized. Still, they look good with or without the side blades. You can select a red color not just multi-colored, so my 9 year old son is using it for Kylo Ren.

The side blades come off, and it looks just fine for any jedi as well. Plus, if your kid likes the multi-colors (not Star Wars authentic), they blink and chage in fun ways. The BEST part about these, though, is the sounds they make.

They have the feature of sounds engaging when you hit something, so it helps with play fighting. My husband and I couldn’t help but play with them, too, although I may get one just a bit larger for my jedi costume next year.

Anyway, these are great, and I’d have paid double easily if I’d known how good they would be! Don’t hesitate buying these, especially at this price!.

This book is extremely repetitive and the characters are boring. Everyone in this book has a 2-dimensional personality, especially Mare. The author uses exaggeration so much that it distracts from enjoying the book.

Glass Sword could have been written in 1/5 of the amount of space and it would have saved everyone’s time from a painfully boring read. This book is obviously meant for a younger audience. The characters don’t seem to think before acting, but that can be argued to be a personality trait.

The plot twists are not surprising. Without having read the book previously, my sister and I were listening to the audio book and she was so surprised when I was able to say exactly what would happen next, and I would be able to directly quote what the author was about to say.

I would highly advise anyone to not read it, and just find a synopsis if you’re interested in the story line.

I have three Minecraft fans in my house and they all fought over who would get to keep this sword for themselves. As far as detail is concerned as I am not a Minecraft expert my boys wished it had some “purple” in it as it’s a netherite sword but otherwise they said it was realistic and a good upgrade from the diamond sword they have.

The quality is fairly good -it’s a hard plastic and made to look like one in the game. However I would not recommend purchasing this as a “play” sword but more for decoration. The hard plastic would either cause injuries or ultimately crack if used as a toy weapon.

We are currently hanging it up on our oldest sons wall and it’s perfect for his Minecraft themed room. Overall a great piece to add to your Minecraft collection.

This Minecraft sword is sturdy and looks just the sword in the game. My son was excited to play with it. He was expecting it to light up, make noise or change since his other Minecraft toys have done this.

As a parent I was a little worried about how hard the blade is. I have bought him other Minecraft swords that had a foam like blade which I felt was safer than this sword. All in all this toy is good.

I think we were just comparing it to other Minecraft toys.

My 6 year old son loves Minecraft so much that he even plays “real life Minecraft”. He has a vivid imagination and this Minecraft Netherite Sword helps take his imagination even further…he never puts it down.

I was pleasantly surprised that it was not made from the standard foam or cheap bendable plastic that most play swords are made from. This is made from strong durable plastic and has held up to some major playing.

My son thoroughly enjoys playing with this sword… like I said, he NEVER puts it down!.

I was very happy with this toy for my Minecraft loving son. Pros: the size is perfect for actual play fights. It’s a sturdy feeling toy. The sword makes sounds that are loud enough to hear while playing but not so loud it annoys others around.

My son said “ it’s a fun toy because the sounds make it like you are in Minecraft”. I also liked watching him use his imagination while playing solo. Cons: while there are very few negatives there is one big doozy.

The tip of the sword is plastic while the shaft is a foam type material. The plastic tip hurts bad when you are accidentally hit. Both myself and my son wish the entire sword was outlined in the foam.

The other con that my son mentioned was he wished he did not have to push the button the entire time to make the sounds activate. I highly recommend this toy if your child enjoys Minecraft and/or using their imagination to fight off unknown creatures.

My two boys, ages 10 and 6, are relatively new to the Minecraft world. Since they love playing the video game, I was hoping this toy would bring them off screen into imaginary play, and I wasn’t disappointed.

As a result of playing the game, they were able to both use the sword’s sound effects to actively pretend to play the game. Personally, I would have preferred a greater variety of sounds, but they didn’t seem to mind at all.

The soft edges of the sword are a plus for play in the house to not only avoid hurting someone else, but to avoid accidentally scratching walls and furniture. What would have made this even better is if it had come in a 2-pack in order to adequately take pretend play to its fullest and to avoid arguments over whose turn it is.

The BEST play sword for kids that love Minecraft or any kids that love sword playing in general. I cannot tell you how much my kids love this toy. They can’t seem to put it down. It is extremely sturdy.

It has a nice feel to it. It is extremely well made and held up nicely even when the kids play rough. Not too heavy so my kids can swing it around. The kids love the 2 different sound effects that the sword makes.

As for a mom’s perspective, this is my favorite part… If you look closely, the side of the sword (the part where the kids tend to hit things or their siblings with) is made out of nice quality foam. GENIUS!!.

Since it is made of foam, the sword does not look like a real sword, but evidently it looks like the one in the game. Because of its proportions, it will be somewhat unwieldy to hold. It is what my grandson wanted for his birthday, though.

The service at the store was excellent.

It is very detailed. As a base for my mod project this was the go to for me. Plan is to add led strip and board inside to mount it on the gameroom wall as feature.

Ordered 2 swords. Received quickly but one was broken. Could not find the broken part in the shipped box. Notified Oriental Trading about the broken sword. Oriental Trading replied to my problem and sent a replacement very quickly.

Authentic, stylish, a little flimsy : All things considered, this is a great addition to any pirate costume. It looks much more high quality and authentic than most pirate sword props out there. No one else had a sword like it at the party where it made it”s debut.

Its only downside is that it is slightly flimsy. Obviously it is a prop and is not designed for actual combat. However, someone attempted to pop a balloon with it and it is now missing it”s tip. I would reccommend it as an addition to any pirate costume, but don”t try to battle with it.

So good that my friends bought 2 more! : Bought this for my daughters wedding. Hubby to be really keen on pirates, especially Jack Sparrow! thought that it would be a good idea to have replica sword for the cutting of the wedding cake pictures.

This will be perfect as form a distance it looks very authentic. My friends bought 2 like it at a later date as they were so impressed.

Bought this for my son for Halloween, as every other sword and shield we found was flimsy or wouldn’t arrive until after Halloween. He loves this one! It’s very sturdy and it arrived within 2 days of ordering.

The shield and sword were a nice touch for the outfit I ordered. But, unless you plan on toting this all night long, I would suggest don’t order it. Or get your pictures taken as early as possible posing with the props then put it away as I did.

They are nice props, with the only issue the shield could’ve been larger. It seemed more of a kid’s shield than an adult’s. But it was light to tote around and the Velcro straps were nice touch to adjust the width to put your arm through.

But now that I have the props, at least I can borrow the whole ensemble if someone asks to borrow it.

Bought this for my 7 year old’s knight costume and it is amazing!! The weight is just right and the sword fit nice and snug into the shield. I would love to give this 10 stars!
