I did have to redo it somewhat, as it is kind of stiff, so I soaked it in Downey fabric softener, so it’s a lot better. Also, the thick plastic clip is awful for my little girl. It’s sits right on her elbow and must be uncomfortable, so I cut of the extra strap and added secure velcro pieces to the ends of the straps.

Now it’s perfect and much more comfortable for her. It’s fits perfectly now. She is an XXS. The first one I bought was a XXXS. way too big, so Chewy was so sweet to just have me donate it to our local humane society, which I did.

I’m so bummed, after reading the reviews this seemed like a great product. I ordered a large for my border collie pit mix because I’ve had issues in the past with items being too small on her despite using the size charts.

But this harness was too big and normally I’d ask to exchange sizes but the overall harness is very awkward and not comfortable for my dog. I was able to adjust it to the max it could be, but I noticed the velcro strap at the front is hard to adjust if the dog is wearing it.

You have to take off the whole vest. But the Velcro is also very rough and rubbed Lucy too much that she wouldn’t want to wear it.

This did exactly what I needed it to do! Chance can now go outside and do his business without losing his balance and falling. It’s great for coming up the few steps he needs to climb. He’s a BIG boy and it is great to help him without causing me difficulty.

He doesn’t mind wearing it because now he knows it helps. Thanks again for such a wonderful product. I would highly recommend.

He insists on going up the stairs at night to sleep with our family, and downstairs in the morning, but he waits patiently for his GingerLead. Of course we use it all the time, and Bruno seems very comfortable with it.

He now WANTS to go out for a walk rather than laying around the house – he’s on the go again! The GingerLead has really added to Bruno’s quality of life.

If you’ve ever tried to carry a German Shepherd for 800 yards, you’ll see why I really love the GingerLead! The padding makes it comfortable for her, the outside construction is durable, light nylon, the handles are adjustable and padded for my comfort, and the unit has an attached lead that hooks onto my dog’s harness.

This has made life much easier for both me and my dog.

It looks like a great dog halter. This is the third halter I ve gotten for my cairn terrier mix. This one looks like he might not be able to escape. Unfortunately, it is way too small for my dog. There is only one size smaller, and I expect it is too big, also.

The receipt was illegible, and I have no idea how to send the halter back. I plan to donate it to the animal shelter. I am still looking for a halter he won t escape from.

Two for the harness even though it would fit sasquatch, It looked sewn well and the buckles and straps are ok. The two is really for selling a halo that collapses with the slightest bump. The little halo bendable wire is useless even as a curb feeler.

The thing needs to be made of aircraft aluminum, not pipe cleaner! The two would have been a one for except for the harness. The fastener for the hoop doesn’t fit the space it’s supposed to work in and is cheesy engineering.

It’s a snap on over a strap but there’s no room for the snapping part between the straps and anyway, whenever the ring moves or gets bent it falls off.

The sizing chart for this product is definitely not accurate, as if it was the harness would be more on the loose end for my dog Prince, but the size I ordered was just barely big enough to properly fit him without being tight.

Other than that, it’s a nice harness. Easy to get on and off with a nice sturdy buckle and it’s made of a very breathable mesh material. The color I picked also looks great on him. My only concern is that selling these harnesses in this format enable people with fake service animals to more easily claim their pets are trained service animals and should be allowed where ever they want.

People also use the harnesses in the same manner for esa’s, emotional support animals, which do not have the same rights npr training required of genuine support animals and put people who actually need them at risk of being turned away at businesses or create an expectation that the dog will misbehave.

Please, if you’re going to buy this and actually use the patches, at the very least make sure that your dog is trained for proper behavior in public and around other dogs and make sure that you don’t let people pet them, as it creates a belief in the public that service dogs can be interacted with when seen, which is a large risk for the handler.

I only got my vest to use during walks, and took the patches off because of that, even though my dog has undergone the behavior training required of a service animal, claiming he is one when he’s not is wrong.

I ordered it to say emotional support animal and I bite. Instead I got the harness with Velcro pieces that only say emotional support. Not only that but my dog was able to remove and chew up the Velcro pieces.

Fits very well. Leon doesn’t mind putting it on. Really like the handle on vest. Over all I think this one is the best.

My wife loved the vest as now people will stop asking to pet the dogs and risk getting bitten as we have big dogs but they are cute and everyone wants to pet them.

Its made well but is very heavy and uncomfortable on our shih tzu mix. Rather more substantial than we expected.

The harness I purchased is not what I expected and due to the fact there was only one photo, I could not see the problem before ordering. The rings at the top where the leash attaches are so stiff and bulky that they will not lay flat.

Buddy sleeps on his back and he hates this. IF there had been better pictures, I certainly would have known better.

I absolutely love this harness. I got the red harness in a large for my one-year-old golden retriever. The harness is made from high-quality materials and fits my dog perfectly. I think it’s definitely worth the money, especially with the name customization option.

We have a long-haired breed (PON / Polish Lowland Sheepdog). I purchased the harness for him for a few safety reasons (for puppy): 1) with long hair, you cannot always see a collar, and the harness is easier to see, and with his name and my number woven into the harness, if he does get away the chances of him getting home sooner are better.

2) for same reason, and because he is rambunctious, tags come off — and are hard to find in all that beautiful hair 🙂 3) LL Bean’s products DON’T fall apart. 4) when puppy escapes–with the “assistance” of my 5 year old– it’s easier to get ahold of him with a harness.

–The harness is fully adjustable. –Personalization is woven in to the harness. not just printed on the outside. –our puppy is able to get off just about any other harness and collar — but not this one.

I was exceeding pleased with the turn around time on the order, too. I believe it was estimated that it could take up to 3 weeks for the Harness to come in, but it arrived in about a week. I’m sure turnaround varies greatly based on order volumes, and perhaps we just “lucked out”, but I was still very pleased!.

This is perfect for my cocker spaniel. I’d tried on a few different running harnesses but wasn’t overly happy with the fit etc. the free motion harness is easy to put on & I can tell it’s comfortable for my dog to wear.

She’s a strong puller & this doesn’t restrict her atall. Our runs are so much more enjoyable now.

Beautifully made harness for pulling. Size 4 for my oversize welsh terrier (14kg) fitted nicely – using the neck size as the primary guide. Required to be as short as possible due to the dog shape being square but plenty of adjustment range.

High quality harness that feels like it will last well. Dog didn’t mind the initial squeeze to get into it and runs freely with it on. Attachment point perfect for pulling with point of effort spread across the dog’s back.

Excellent piece of kit, and made to last. Bruce (8 month old husky) absolutely hates getting a harness of any kind put on him, and when taking him for a walk its a 10 minute job chasing him about and getting him held to get it on him, so I thought this would be a mission and a half as it goes on like a jumper.

I was wrong. As soon as I opened it, he knew it was for him and the tail was going like mad. He sits looking all sad for himself now when I’m putting it on, its a case of sliding it over his head (like a jumper) and then lifting his 2 front legs into their sections, but as soon as it’s on he darts to the car as he knows whats coming.

He’s still growing and will need a new one shortly, and I’ll definitely be purchasing another one of these. It’s worth the few extra quid from the other one, as it can be tailor fitted so to say to the dog, which results in more comfort for him, and the comfortabler he is the more likely he’ll let me put it on.

Great quality and color is vivid. I have a Cairn Terrier; I should have measured better because I needed to order a large. I can’t exchange it though because they have a strict policy on no dog hair or fur on the item which is hard to avoid when trying on an item with velcro as the way it connects.

I am hanging on to it; my Maine Coon cat may be able to use it when he grows up. At some point I will order a large for my Cairn Terrier.

This harness is so easy to put on. My puppy just walks right into the harness. I like the way that the leash attaches to the harness. In the event that the velcro were to come apart, the leash still continues to keep the harness from falling off.

I see this as a great safety feature. I have found this to be the best fitting harness for my puppy. I would recommend this to others and will continue to purchase this harness in the future.

I got this when I got my little guy from his foster mother. He had a terrible childhood till rescued. He’s afraid of everything…. , except his harness. He doesn’t step in by himself yet. But he does hold still while I fasten it.

I think he feels secure in it. Perfect for him!.

My pet needed a no pull no choke harness and this fits the purpose perfectly. No longer is there less pulling, but my dog coughs far less now after his walk. Easy to put on. The material and design is good and perfect for Houston summers.

It was priced right too and cost less than a lot of fancy ones out there. I have used this harness before to train another pet puppy how to walk. This time around I’m equally satisfied with the product.

Pros: LOVE the “walk in” design: an adult retriever who used to RUN FOR HER LIFE from other harness styles literally JUMPS into this one 8-D (jumps her face into it) Cons: FALSE ADVERTISEMENT : absoulutely no effect on desire to pull (tested on 3+ breeds) Addisitonal adjustments likely required after adjusting to fit (see below for details*) personal solution: I will be trying the jaws style that they also walk their face into but that clips on the sides for my new (excited, pulling, lunging) dog Good2Go resommendation: use thick/durable bungee cord for bottom frame section that cmoes throug the guide WHY? 1.

They dont even have to step into it (translation: we don’t have to lift their legs for them when they’re tired) 2. The main issue that have with this one is the leash excess (~ 1 ft w/ a 70# retriever) that remains after it is tightened.

*Have to clip leash to main metal guide & either wrap excess around center of harness or let dangle: if used as designed as is you’ll have your half pound metal leash hook bounce on their back and knock them in their side the entire time.

Was excited at first because it was easy to get on BUT the harness loosens while walking to the point where i have to tie a knot in the pull string after its on to prevent this from happening and then when I get home i have to untie a tight knot before being able to slip the harness off.

Also, where the metal buckle is to attach to the leash clasp is about a foot away from the dog so you wind up with a heavy metal leash attachment swinging near the dog (sometimes near her head) which isn’t very nice either.

Oh yeah, and this harness does not prevent my 7 month old Lab from pulling AT ALL. I would NOT recommend this harness. Only thing I DO like about it is the cushioning under the arms for comfort for the dog.

This is a strong but very soft harness which I bought for my dog. It looks great even a year on and my dog is a rolling in mud queen. We get compliments on her harness every week at least. The best thing for us is how soft it is on Cassie’s coat, even if I have to pull her back I know it won’t hurt her.

It is also a great quality product – very well made and I have no fears of her twisting out of it. I have tried other harnesses but I now will buy Red Dingo before any other brand.

I always buy the red dingo brand of dog harness as they are such good quality. I have just bought this purple one with a matching red dingo lead and I am very pleased as he looks so good being a white dog.

The fit is perfect on both. Both dogs enjoy walking in them and I see no chafing either. Different sized dogs and the measuring chart was spot on for both. We all love them !! Decided to get the matching leads after I had the harnesses and knew I wouldn’t have to return any and had a snafu when I checked the order again later.

One was the wrong color!! Oh no, and it was on Saturday. Figured I’d leave an email anyway and hope someone sees it before it ships Monday. Well, not only was it seen, it was seen and I got a response within 2 hours.

This is our second Plush harness. They are a decent quality and light weight. Purchased in size Large to accommodate my rat terrier’s barrel chest without being too baggy around the neck and legs. Used on a daily basis so not too surprised when it started to show wear around the edges after nearly a year of use.

Would pay more for more durability.

The 2xs was tight around chest of my 6 lb maltese. The XS was larger around the neck but still quite tight around his chest. I measured them against each other and the length on that edge of the harness is identical.

Will continue to work on stretching the XS for him. Thinking the next size up will just bee too big around the neck.

This is not a Joyride harness. I thought it would work like a Joyride but the front adjustable chest strap does not stay adjusted if he starts to pull so thusly shortly into our walk I have to stop retighten around his chest and proceed on.

this happens several times on a 2 mile walk, ugh. I kept it though for future use once he stops pulling. It is a nice harness, though, I like the fit on him and he doesn’t seem to mind it, either. I would not recommend this harness for pullers, though, your pet will not be safe and can easily come out of the harness if they pull hard enough nor did nothing with pulling.

I used a different training method to stop his pulling. This harness will work well with dogs who do not pull. I choose the bright red color to match his outdoor jacket which is appealing against his tri-colored coat.

The fabric is sturdy and easily cleaned.

I recently adopted a young husky that is a very strong puller. I am very experienced in training large and giant breed dogs including my two 200# english mastiffs. This harness looked great, like it would work for my husky, but it doesn’t.

It slides from side to side and needs tightening constantly, the D ring sits too far back and gives the walker no control whatsoever. I can already see the nylon holding it starting to come apart. I do like the wide straps and the padding though.

I will look for another style that could give me more control. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

I bought this for my 3 1/2-year-old Staffordshire terrier mix. She is very stout and strong as heck and gets way too excited for every outing. We have been using the easy walk but as she has bulked up over the years it was irritating her in the “armpit” area.

This is a very well-made harness. It appears extremely sturdy, easy to put on and seems to be comfortable. My only concern is that it does absolutely nothing to reduce the pulling. Because the leash attachment is on the back between my dog shoulder blades it does nothing to deter her.

After we’ve been walking for about 20 to 30 minutes she mellows out and we have a very nice time but until then it’s a bit of a battle. So I’m torn between my comfort and hers. Right now her comfort is winning and I am still on the hunt for a harness that is both comfortable and effective.
