20 Best Earbuds For Phone Calls In Noisy Environment (2023 Updated)

I researched for earbuds that don’t push inside the ear canal because I cannot stand that, it’s too uncomfortable for me, I’m used to wearing over the ear headphones; and I wanted something that looks pretty and don’t fall out easily so I can use them during workout.

These earbuds fit what I wanted. The color is very pretty (rose gold), although the bean shape might seem weird at first, but they look very good when put on, they don’t stick out too much which is good for when I laid my head on the pillow on the side.

As for the fit, the box comes with 2 sizes of wings (small and large), neither small or large wings fit my ears, the buds would always fall out on their own and my ears will hurt after wearing them after a while, and no matter how I adjust the angles I put on the earbuds, they won’t fit! I was about to return them because of the poor fit, but I found some medium size wings online; and when I put the earbuds with the medium size wings on, omg they finally stay on my ears without falling out and feel comfortable enough to wear for hours! With the medium wings I bought, these buds stayed on even when I work out and when I shake my head really fast.

Future note for Samsung, please include medium size wings for you earbuds, it makes no sense to only have small and large sizes. For battery life, I found that these buds would last about 4. 5 hours with continuous use with mid-high volume, but they charge pretty fast in the case.

When I put them back in the case for about 15 minutes, the buds would have over 50% battery. With the buds and case fully charged, they last approximately 17-18 hours (based on my usage), I usually charge the case every 3 or 4 days depending on how much I use them.

I like that the case can be wirelessly charged, it’s very convenient for me. Now let’s talk about the sound of these earbuds, I mainly listen to rock and metal music, and these buds can handle some subgenres of rock but not others.

For example, they can’t handle the complex sounds of shoegaze, no wave, heavy metal. etc. Anything that involves multiple instruments producing complicated layers of sounds, these buds can’t handle them very well.

Maybe I’m spoiled by my Marshall headphones that are designed to be more powerful and better for listening to rock and metal, I just can’t distinguish the different layers of sounds with these earbuds, the sounds are all meshed up together or too distorted.

However, these earbuds do have some powerful bass for their small size! I listened to some bass heavy songs, and these buds deliver them all very well. Overall, I don’t recommend these earbuds for people who’s going to use them mainly for listening to rock and metal music.

But to be fair, I probably shouldn’t be comparing these earbuds to headphones which are designed to be more powerful, these buds produce clear sounds for most other genres like ballad, jazz, blue. and watching videos or listening to podcasts.

And I only use these buds occasionally when I’m working out and laying on bed watching videos, so they’re good for my usage. Last thing I want to mention is the active noise cancellation (ANC), they’re definitely not the best ANC earbuds, they draw out most low frequency sounds but even with the volume set to highest and ANC on, I can pretty much hear everything surrounding me.

However, the design is open-ear, and I think Samsung does advertise the ANC to only be able to block out low frequency sounds so I wasn’t expecting much noise cancellation with these earbuds. In conclusion, I would recommend these earbuds to those like me who cannot stand to wear earbuds that push into ear canal, produce decent sounds with good bass, don’t mind the weak ANC, comfortable to wear for hours (with the right fit), and good quality.

I’m gonna be honest. The sound quality is amazing and on that alone I’d give it 5 stars. But that’s it’s saving grace. The 3 star score is because they beep. Randomly. A lot. At least on iOS. They beep every few keystrokes, when pressing a virtual key, when changing apps, when changing pages in apps and sometimes seemingly for no reason.

They also randomly disconnect sometimes. It’s a known issue and it’s seemingly tied to the volume control. If you change the volume with the buttons on the side of your phone it’ll throw the phone and earphone volumes out of sync which results in a beep for some reason.

So you have to fight the urge to turn your volume up or down the faster way( using the phone’s side buttons or virtual slider). Now I know some might think it’s my phone, but I got my phone 7 months ago (iPhone 11)and I’ve used Bose, JBL, Klipsch, and AirPods before this and not had this happen once.

I’ve had THESE pair for about 6 days now. I say THESE pair because I returned the other pair after a week thinking they were defective. Nope. Again I love the sound quality and design, and I’ve dreamt of having a pair of these for a while now.

Now I’m thinking of just getting another brand next time I buy ear/headphones.

The Sennheiser CX 400BT True Wireless earbuds are honestly way better than I expected. I was a little hesitant to put down the money for these as looking at them they definitely seemed kind of bulky and uncomfortable, but as I use Sennheiser headphones on my PC and have loved them I decided to give these a go.

So happy that I did!! Sound quality: The best that I’ve experienced from an earbud so far. Sennheiser does not disappoint, giving crystal clear sound quality and lovely balancing right out of the box.

You can really hear every detail of a track or video even when the audio gets quite crowded. For me, the sound levels were pretty much spot on straight away, but the app does come with an EQ function where you can adjust the levels really easily on the fly.

A feature I’ve used quite a lot when I want a little unintrusive background noise when I work. Fit and comfort: I didn’t expect much in terms of comfort but only really needed them for half-hour stretches, luckily they proved to be much nicer than I thought! The customizable ear tips make getting the right fit quite easy and they are so comfortable to wear I’ve taken to listening to all my music around the house through these.

They stay in place really well too, even when jogging, and don’t seem to get uncomfortable at any point even when I have worn them for hours. While they don’t have active noise cancelation they do fit well enough that you really can’t hear much outside them anyway, so nothing can drown out what you want to hear.

Technology: The Bluetooth connectivity is really well handled. Even before I installed the app they connected immediately, and every time since they connect as soon as I take them out of the case. With the touch-sensitive sides, you can activate Google assistant (or Siri) to listen to music or call someone without ever touching your phone.

As I mentioned before, the EQ features of the app are responsive and easy to use, and it also allows you to customize how you want the touch buttons to react to different inputs. It all works well with minimal delay, and the app itself is quite streamlined so there’s no extra hassle.

Overall I’m really enjoying these earbuds and would recommend them to anyone wanting great sound with a streamlined but customizable experience.

(This is my first ever “review” on any product, so sorry for any mess-ups!) The CX 400BTs are not a bad pair of earbuds, but from my experience, they are just “good” and not great. This isn’t really a review of these earbuds, but rather my experience with these for a short time period.

I am not an audiophile by any means, but I feel like that because I am not an audiophile, it indirectly has something to do with my unsatisfactory experience with these earbuds, and how it left me wanting something more from its performance.

Design- the earbuds and case are big, but not huge. There isn’t really anything special about their design. They are made out of plastic, but it does feel good and will not fall apart easily. Battery- The product states it will provide roughly 6hrs of charge for the earbuds, and an additional 13 hours with the case.

I think it is decent, but not great. It will vary depending on your way of usage. Sound- I feel that for audiophiles, the sound that these come with out of the box will be great for them, as it is very balanced with clarity.

However, for some one like me, an average consumer, I like my music to have that “thump” and energetic feel to it. I downloaded the Sennheiser smart control app, and messed with the EQ for days. Though I managed to make the sound more suitable for my tastes, it still was only a marginal increase in the sound clarity, bass and treble when compared to my AirPods with Apple Music’s EQ activated, which makes the AirPods sound better.

Without the Apple Music EQ however, the CX 400bt do perform significantly better than my AirPods. The same thing can be said if I used the CX 400BTs without any EQ. They would only sound marginally better than my AirPods, and the bass was even a bit lacking when compared to the AirPods.

The treble would hurt my ears on some songs, as it would be extremely brought out for some reason. Now for some genres of music, such as instrumental from my experience, the CX 400BTs were actually great, and the soundstage was wide.

This was probably one of the only things that these earbuds did so well when compared to my AirPods. Conclusion- the CX 400BTs are not bad earbuds, but I think they cater towards specific people looking for that specific “audiophile” sound.

As for normal consumers like me, I wasn’t blown away, and because it did not have ANC or transparency mode like other wireless earbuds such as Apple’s AirPods Pro’s, I really was left with wanting more.

I will return these for another different pair of wireless earbuds. I think these are still worth the try, but you may or may not like them. If you want features such as ANC, stay away from these, as they do not offer any of the such.

– Overall this product is good in the under 7K price range (it could’ve been 1 or 1. 5K cheaper but no hard feelings). – The sound quality is excellent, but I am no audiophile, so take this with a grain of salt.

– The overall build quality is awesome. The case quality could’ve been a little better to look more premium but after over 1 and a half years of use I only have one complaint from the case and this is ti could’ve been a little compact.

It is too bulky to carry around in your jeans pockets if you are traveling. If it gets misplaced in your pockets then people can misinterpret that as something else in your pockets 😉 – Let’s come to the battery life.

Overall its battery life is awesome while it lasted. Basically, it started giving me problems around a few months ago when it just wouldn’t last even a single hour when connected to my MacBook Pro. And would last just over an hour when connected to my OP 8 Pro.

The claims of 10 hours on buds and 70 hours on the case are accurate but only true till you reach one year period and my buds started giving battery problems when it crossed the warranty period and now I am not sure whether I can get them repaired or not.

That’s why it gets one star less for this – The last deduction in the star is caused by the connectivity issues. These buds always gave me issues in connecting to my phone sometimes they will connect flawlessly when you turn on the Bluetooth but sometimes one of the buds will just show the error “Problem connecting” or some error like that and that’s just irritating.

– The connectivity issues persist through the call as well like sometimes it would only work for one earbud for listening to the call and the mic will not properly work unless you put the buds close to your mouth to speak.

Hi, I’m Surya, an Artist, Producer and Mixing Engineer. Before jumping on to reviewing these earbuds, I’d like to explain what I look forward to in a pair of TWS. Firstly, I look for a Flat Balance, meaning: not so bassy, not on the edge of sibilance, neither something boxy.

Secondly the depth and imaging displayed (3D Effect), meaning: how large is the section of the song which has to be felt BIG. Third, I look for the dynamics and details felt, meaning: how punchy is the snare which has to be punchy and how detailed are the micro expressions in the voice or guitar.

And how’d I say something isn’t punch or something is on the edge of being harsh is comparing it with my experience on listening to my own songs or my mix reference songs on: KRK Rokit 6 G3, Sennheiser HD600, Sennheiser 280 Pro, Airpods Gen 2 and Yamaha HS8’s.

Before jumping I want you to understand every audio device has its own color, I’m here to explain what this color is and why I returned it back. This may be the color you like, who knows. Also I tried all the ear tips given and I found foam to be my best choice (because it gave lesser lows and a cleaner fit).

The balance was not “FLAT”. They have done a great job in finding a deep bass end and punchy kick to be felt hard, but the MIDS (200-600Hz) I’d say is missing its level and details. And what this means is that Vocals in the mix don’t sit with the kick and bass, rather a bit behind.

If you’d prefer “extra bass” series buds, this one is having a bit of that flavor (not much – a bit). And coming to the highs, it’s neither low or harsh (it’s ok level detailed), but once your lows are loud and on the face, there is a mirror effect that higher frequency is felt less.

If highs were a bit higher, presence would have been in the track and thus helped me retain this pair. The major reason I’m giving this back is this: a bit higher lows which masks the low mids. You may say “Hey did you check the EQ in the app?” – EQ’s can boost frequency which can solve my issue here but, you shouldn’t do it with any track because it tremendously affects the dynamics, depth felt.

It’s universal to any device and any track. And I tried it too. Then I don’t anymore feel the depth and detail luxury initially felt. Depth and Imaging: This is the selling point of this pair and it is indeed very good.

I even thought of retaining this pair for this reason. But once you alter something in the EQ app, this depth orgasm is reduced. Dynamics and Details: I’d say this attribute is “OK” for its price. Good details on lows (<120Hz) and above decent on very high end (>5kHz).

Mid Mids (0. 8-1. 5khz) are ok. Low mids (200-600Hz) either feel lost or boxy sometimes. Apart from sound quality aspects, I had problems connecting with the app every time (Redmi Note 9) and when I connected it with my laptop I was not feeling the same audio quality and there were crackling lags heard (not sure if its the incapability of lap or its the buds) The case looks pretty cool and the battery capability is insane.

Hardly have to charge these There was a great isolation felth with ear tips Even when you keep these in the case it doesn’t get disconnected, you have to manually disconnect these. I checked these with all genres apart from my reference list and my own songs.

If you’re a rock/jazz lover, definitely this isn’t for you. If you love pop and hip hop with a bit of extra low end (and loss of mids) this might be the one for you. I should say old songs from the 70s,80s and early 90’s which were recorded and mixed before the digital recording era, those ones were pretty good to listen to: As those songs lack the sub bass end, the boost in the lows of the earbuds were a positive in that case.

I was skeptical to buy from a brand never heard before but having read all the reviews i decided to take a chance and I am so happy that I made the right call. The biggest strength of these earphones is their sound separation.

We can identify every single instruments even those which you will fail to notice in normal headphones or speakers. Also its not harsh on ears. I am not a bass head but i hate treblish sounds. Most of the earphones out there have a V shaped sound with bass and treble boosted which I hate because the listening to the treble sound for too long hurts my ears.

This one hit the right spot for me. If we really need to pick the negatives, I can state two of them 1) The sub bass section is weak, I think it fails to produce the right tones for them 2) The fit is not comfortable for long duration.

It starts give pain after 1 hour which is not a big deal for me as I bought this mainly for workout. Apart from these two issues, for the price this is an absolute steal. Also the ability to have custom EQ using the app is a great deal for me.

I can adjust the sound to my liking.

I’ve had the Elite Active 75ts for a few months now and use them daily. To preface, I don’t like “true” wireless headphones. I prefer the neck band setup for a whole host of reasons. This is only the second set I’ve owned.

I’m thus not a super fair reviewer. I also purchased them factory refurbished so take that as you will. On the other hand their quality is unimpeachable. The comfort is inferior both to airpods and to older Bose earbuds that were as light as these ones.

But they stay in my ears much better than air pods and they are generally easier to wear all day than than the new wireless Soundsport offering due to being less bulky. If you’re the kind that doesn’t like shoving a gel into your ear canal however, you’ll want to avoid these.

A lot of their noise cancelation relies on essentially being ear plugs. Which brings us to the ANC. Jabra allows you to program this to your preference through the app much like the sound profile itself so your mileage may vary on this score.

After several attempts to calibrate the ANC in both active construction zones and busy public spaces that would create the right noise for it I can’t say I’ve noticed any real differences however. The “calibration” seems to me like a silly gimic at this time.

That being said the ANC is better on these than on the Skullcandy offering and even sort of begins to approach the absurd quality level you could expect from Bose or Airpod Pros. Admittedly much of this is thanks to them being, again, literally ear plugs.

But given the ANC feature on these was a software hotpatch? I’m exceedingly impressed. They also have a “hear through” feature that in theory would let you hear without taking them out. I hate this myself.

It picks up and amplifies white noise in this mode. While you can more or less be aware the whole world sounds like you’re hearing it through a military radio. You might as well just take them out in any circumstance you’d need to hear through them.

The personalized sound does seem to work pretty well. I like the new tendency of earbuds to test my old hearing and tailor music to me. Unlike the Skullcandy offering these did show marked improvement in sound quality after allowing it to run the calibration test.

They also needed less tweaking after to bring bring out the quality. Although these headphones still just aren’t as capable of producing some of the depths and brightness of their more expensive competition they come very close once you set them up for yourself.

In my experience they allow you to clean up the mids that most good headphones at this price muddy. Bass is still good, though I found this harder to set to my satisfaction. The buds will sometimes deliver a thumping bass that manages to make me simultaneously makes worry for my ears and marvel at what might be most balaced bass I’ve experienced in bud sized headphones.

Mostly though, it’s just the same slightly disappointing implication of bass that all well balanced buds give. The battery life and charging box are both very good, easily competing with more expensive offerings.

I did shower with them in a couple times since Jabra pushes the waterproof thing as one of the active model’s main features. They continue to work with no issue. I don’t find shower headphones useful, but it does mean that I could have one fall from my ear while on a roof, drop into a ornamental pond, and by the time I fished it out 5 minutes later I would just have to flick it off and put it back in my ear.

All in all, they’re good headphones packed with features. If you want these but don’t care about the waterproofing though buy the 85ts. These come so close to be amazing headphones that I suspect the 85s are really immensely satisfying.

These are my first in-ear headphones. I love music and have a number of over ear headsets and a few classic earbuds as, when I’ve tried them in the past, in-ear models have been uncomfortable. Happily, not these; once I figured out how to put them in properly I’ve been able to wear them for hours with no issues and that seal out a lot of noise passively.

(The active noise reduction is a great feature and works well but I don’t see myself using it often as the passive reduction is enough for me. ) Now for the sound. All Jabra app settings flat with no customisation.

They are not as ultimately resolving as my best headphones but 1) I didn’t expect them to be and 2) music is very enjoyable without anything that really frustrates me and this is a very pleasant surprise.

I listen to a very wide range of music and have played a lot of different types while testing these. Bass is smooth, extended, impactful and satisfying while not overpronounced. It’s easy to follow the melody in the bass runs without feeling the the bass is just another percussion instrument.

The midrange is clear and detailed and the highs are clean and precise. Cymbals and high hats come through clearly. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and I’d easily recommend these to anyone.

These are great earbuds for the price! The bass and depth are better than any I’ve used! AMAZING dimension to the sound. Charge quickly and the “hearthrough” feature is great. Slight learning curve to handle (volume up/down, sound/silent, etc.

) but once familiar, very easy to use. The best part is you can get the Jabra app (Google or Apple store) and set an EQ and lots of other features (GET it!) (I use w/Android phone). Once I set it up, it was amazing.

Case is very compact and charges quickly. No real downsides, but the buds can be a little finicky in ear – if rotated wrong, they go silent, so you have to get used to the correct positions. They seem to putter out if a less distance away from device as other buds, but that’s a minor consideration.

The supplied rubbers didn’t fit my ears well and after a search I found the best-fitting ones and now good to go! But you have to get perfect-fitting ear rubbers for these to sound their best – but no different than other brands.

So far my best purchase for ear buds!.

The LinkBuds S are a fascinating product. Lightweight, compact, and yet packed to the gills with features and party tricks. And after spending a few days with them, I think they might have earned a spot as my new daily drivers.

As far as I can tell, the design goals here were to create a set of earbuds you simply never need to take out. You’ve got active noise cancellation, passive noise blocking, and audio pass through at your disposal, which is fairly standard at this point.

What makes these particular stand out is the fact that they are designed to try and make the process of switching between these options completely automatic. If it detects you talking to someone it immediately pauses your audio and switches to voice amplified passthrough.

If it detects you’re currently driving it switches back to full audio cancellation. If you’re going for a run it’ll switch to full passthrough, and so on. I haven’t decided yet if this is a brilliant idea or not, as so far at least it seems to be a little hit or miss in regards to its decision making, but it’s certainly an approach that I haven’t seen before and I can see the appeal.

The smarts don’t end there, however. There’s also tools to help you select the correct ear cushion size for your ear canals, a monitor to determine if you’re listening to content that could damage your hearing in the long term, and even a tool to scan the shape of your ears to optimize 3D audio performance (though it doesn’t seem to be particularly useful for earbuds.

Overall it comes across as an almost excessive attention to detail which really does make this feel like a premium experience. The only issue I have is the system to remap the touch controls on the earbuds.

Most apps will let you map specific actions to each gesture the system supports. With these, however, you have to pick between a short list of available presets which often aren’t making full use of the commands available.

To give an example, out of the box there are no volume controls at all. The right earbud has media controls, and the left controls noise cancellation. I would like to be able to replace the two empty “quick action” slots (which seems excessive since there’s currently only one thing I can map to them, and it’s something I never use) with volume controls, but it won’t let me.

Switching the left earbud to volume control will remove the mapping for noise cancellation control, which I use much more often. It’s very puzzling to me how Sony hasn’t figured out that this is a bad design when practically everyone else in the industry has fully programmable controls, and I hope that they can eventually address it with a future software update.

Which brings us to one of the more important aspects: how do the actual earbuds perform? Overall, I’d say very well. The default equalizer setting offers a good mix of highs and lows, audio is crisp, and mic performance for calls is great.

It’s got a bit less bass than I’m accustomed to from Sony stuff, but given that I often find their low end response to be excessive I’m fine with it. Battery life is very good, though not exceptional, with the earbuds on their own being able to last through most of the day and the case having a generous power reserve that claims to be able to stretch total endurance to 20 hours.

They grip in the ear very well, and are so lightweight that they tend to stay where you put them without causing any discomfort. Touch detection can, admittedly, be a little hit or miss. There’s no clear indicator for where you should tap the casing to trigger a command, and sensitivity varies depending on where you hit.

Aiming for dead center seems to elicit the best response, but it’s very easy to accidentally hit one of the edges when you’re wearing them. It’s a minor thing, ultimately, but some kind of nub or shift in texture to give some tactile response would be nice.

And the active noise cancellation is better than anything I’ve previously tried from Sony, with very little discomfort from prolonged use and excellent performance. Overall, these earbuds aren’t perfect.

They do have a bit of a prototype feel to them, with a lot of the features feeling like early implementations. But it also feels like you’re looking at the first crack at where earbud design is ultimately going, and I think that future firmware and software updates will probably improve a lot of the current shortcomings.

As such I’d recommend them for anyone looking for earbuds that can do it all without losing the ability to be discrete.

The ear pods sound great! Just popped them out the box and as soon as I slid down the case they went into pairing mode and paired pretty easy. I used the set up it came with at first with the wing and end pieces but changed them to the larger size to fit my ear better.

Comes with 4 wings, 6 ends I like the end L+ which adds bass but still fits good. Had them on for a while and didn’t feel any irritation. I downloaded the app and did the hearing test. It basically showed me the I hear WAY MORE in my left ear then my right!! I then selected the preset of hip hop eq.

for a bit, it was alright. but then tried the recommended adjustment from the hearing test and have never heard my music this way!!! It basically adjusted the missing sound levels of my right ear to my left to make it more even.

It sounds amazing!! It makes me want to listen to my entire Playlist to see what I was missing all this dang time!!! The highs,low, and mids are on point in my opinion, especially for the price!!! I still haven’t tried the advanced Bluetooth settings but I will update later after I have tried it.

These are simply wireless earbuds. They function just as well as every other brand or better, and though I haven’t used other brands, this has served me well. It connects easily and it even connects automatically to my phone now, although I honestly don’t know how this happens and there aren’t any settings for it to connect automatically.

I use them every day at work and I’ve found that the earbuds can last continuously without charge for about 4 hours, so if you use them one at a time and switch them out regularly, they will last an entire day.

The noise cancellation is very good, although it only really works if something is being played in the earbuds, but white noise works just as well as heavy metal, so it should work fine no matter who you are.

Be careful when using both earbuds however, since you literally can’t hear outside sounds if you have both earbuds in and noise cancelling, so if someone is trying to get your attention, you probably won’t notice unless you can see them.

If you have noise transparency on and both earbuds, then you can only understand outside language on low volume, but can hear more than with noise cancelling. Overall, noise cancelling and noise transparency aren’t incredibly distinct, and it will mostly depend on how many earbuds you’re wearing and how loud your audio is.

Most of the time, only wearing one earbud is better because you can still interact with people and the battery lasts longer, but you can get better sound quality with two earbuds. You can still get audio if the source of the audio is across the room, in another room, or in a pocket, but if there are too many or too thick obstructions, they won’t work.

If you drop them, they will scratch, but almost definitely won’t have their performance affected. Overall, the earbuds work great and they’re worth it to get.

Somebody things about this I just don’t know where to start. Needless to say I was extremely excited to receive these and I finally got them I must say I was pleased that they came already 80% charged that was a plus.

No time for the good the bad the ugly in the real truth. Packaging is absolutely beautiful much better packaging than me know iPhone 13 Pro Max that was pretty generic however the beats packaging was very very nice.

Starting with the case extremely slippery, Very hard to open you almost don’t even know where you almost don’t even know where to home there should be some type of notch or something that just makes them up and easy like the iPods.

If you were expecting a flawless connection thanks again now yes it’s easy to connect them but like the Apple iPods you open them up and they’re connected not with the beats do you have to do a little bit of work and go back and search for them in your Bluetooth and select them and unfortunately you have to do this every time.

As far as the sound quality they fell short on that as well yes the sound is good but I would have expected much much better out of a beats product. I really do have to say I’m pretty disappointed with these there’s a lot of things I just don’t like and another one that I forgot to mention with everything going to wireless charging you cannot wireless charge these you have to plug them in.

My gut was telling me I should purchase the new Apple iPods Pro however I always wanted a pair of beats I always heard wonderful things about them so I really wanted to give them a try and I really think after having them for one day listening to three songs I am going to contact Verizon and I will be returning these and I am going to purchase a pair of the iPod pros you just can’t go wrong with the sound quality as well as the ease and lack of effort you have to do to make them work there just an all-around wonderful product that sound better work better.

Hey maybe you will like them better than me but I am the type of person I like to wear them when I’m mowing grass and I like to turn them up loud and honestly you just cannot get that nice loud deep great sound you can from the Apple iPod pros.

Very disappointing beats you’re really let me down you’re really let me down!!.

First, let me begin saying that I am a visually impaired user and this perspective is just how I feel. The reason I only gave these headphones an average rating is because they are just that. They lack umph and they lack power to me.

I saw multiple reviews watch multiple reviews on YouTube for purchasing these studio buds on Black Friday I was already in need being that I still on the original pair of AirPods so it was time for some thing new.

I purchased these on Black Friday for $99 and I am extremely disappointing all of the reviews that I watched on YouTube gave me the notion that these headphones were loud and we’re going to pack a mean punch, but I was extremely disappointed on the first lesson.

I am more than likely will give these away because I also purchased a pair of beats flex into me they offer more power and more thought as my mother would say. The value on the headphones were perfect because I refuse to pay anything over $100 for a pair of your phones.

The quality of the headphones, I mean they are beats so they’re going to make them look good for a fashion statement. I also purchased these because I didn’t want another pair of AirPods because I work out a lot and they seem to slip out of my ear when I am in the gym.

So I wanted something that would stay in my ear as I work out. So far they have done a great job on that level. I’ve gotten multiple comments on them on how cool they look but looks can be deceiving.

Yes they look nice, but being blind it’s hard to get them in and out of the case. The first time I took them out of the case I actually had to have someone help me figure out how to get them back into the case, so pay very close attention, for the very first few times it took me a minute to put them back in the case once I use them.

The reason for the three stars is one. They lack power. To. They lack loudness. Three. They only look good in my ear. I am quite disappointed in these and I might even give these away and try something else.

I’ve often also heard prior to purchasing these that listening to classical music was not an option but I actually felt like these were better for classical music than songs by Kevin Gates or Nipsey Hussle didn’t give me what I was looking for.

Probably would not tell someone to purchase these headphones.

I’ve been looking for a great buds among all different brands in the market till I bought my amazing 9 pro phone couple of months ago and decided to wait for OnePlus buds pro to be released. After reading critic’s positive reviews I ordered my buds pro and received it in very great packaging (as usual of course) & in a timely manner.

I gotta confess OnePlus (for the first time) disappointed me with one of their products even with so many great tech reviews out there. This is expensive version of very normal pair of earbuds in the market.

Please don’t get me wrong this very high class good looking buds with few impressive features such as noise cancelling, zen mode and etc is still one of the good earbuds but honestly far fetched from what I expected as an old music addict for enjoying high quality music.

If you are looking for an earbuds to enjoy high quality music with some extra bass to shake your brain, you’d better to think of investing on some other brands with hi-res capability. Sorry OnePlus but this is another pair of above the average earbuds which is the way far from a wow factor product.

If I could turn back time I would’ve bought a pair of Sony XM series earbuds instead. *****This is my original review on OnePlus store that got blocked because it’s too honest to be handled by manufacturer.

I bought a pair of Bose Soundsport before buying a pair of these. The price for both was comparable. The Bose, while giving rich sounds, are rather large and they do not synch with video. After buying a OnePlus 9 and loving it, i bought a pair of OnePlus basic earbuds.

They worked very well and when the OnePlus Buds Pro came out I purchased them. If you have a OnePlus phone, they synch to the phone effortlessly. Just open the case on the earbuds and they pair automatically.

The sound is comparable to the Bose. Nice bass and rich sound but they are much lighter and smaller then the Bose and they have fantastic noise cancelling. For the price ( you can often get them on sale), they can’t be beat.

I have been using them from last 20 days and it is amazing experience till now. Sound quality is good and the extra bass makes it even more special. The standout feature for me is noise cancellation.

Music or games with noise cancellation is different experience altogether.

My last pair of Raycons (the e25 I think?) lasted give or take 2 years and I was more than satisfied with them. The reason it was time to upgrade was because I’m a bit of a klutz and I droped the charging case a few too many times to the point where it cracked open and wouldn’t last longer than half an hour no matter how long you let it charge.

With this new pair (the everyday earbuds as they’re called), I was disappointed with a couple of things. First off, the volume seems to be significantly lower than the last, so much so that I needed to download a volume enhancing app for my phone just so I could have the volume at a level closer to the previous model, so that’s a shame.

Second, and this was one of the few gripes I had with the older model as well, was that when you put your earbuds in the case to charge sometimes it just. doesn’t? It’s always with just one of them too, it’s kind of annoying when you’re listening to music and despite keeping both earbuds in the case whenever I charge it, I get hit with that dreaded “low battery” notification on my left one all of a sudden and it’s then I realize that I guess that when I placed them both to charge, only one of them actually did and the other just remained on and didn’t charge.

Again, this was prevalent in the last model as well and I know it’s not a major gripe, just a tad irritating that I always have to stop and see if both headphones are actually charging every single time I put my buds on to charge and once i feel like “ok it hasn’t done it for a while so I guess we’re good” before you know it, boom happens again.

This is especially annoying when I have one earbud low on battery at the end of the night so I swiftly put them both to charge and then drift to sleep and upon awakening and using them later in the day within minutes I get the “low battery” notification from the same earbud despite thinking it had charged all night.

Third, they switched up the controls in the model, for I think the worse. THIS is my major gripe with the new model, I don’t know why they decided to switch it up all of a sudden, but one tap of the R button would pause/play and two taps would switch to the next/previous track and three taps adjusted the volume, but not it’s been basically reversed so one tap now adjusts volume, two taps pauses/plays and three taps switches between tracks.

Not only does it take getting used to but since the button itself is a sensitive little ******* (and slippery fingers being what they are) I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten frustrated not switching between songs or pausing/playing because the amount of times i tapped the button didn’t register correctly.

Especially when I try to hit pause and I tap it twice but it thinks I tapped it once and you get that annoying ***** who will just take over the flow of your music and not even pause it while she monotonously tells you you’re at “maximum volume”.

If anything, that’s my fourth semi-gripe, which is if you’re gonna tell me I’m at max volume, a simple distinctive beep would suffice. I don’t know why they thought a sound bite of a lady saying “maximum volume” while cancelling out whatever you were listening to for a solid 2 seconds was a necessary upgrade but whatever.

Overall, a step down but still serviceable for the price. I just hope enough people have the same gripes and voice their concerns so that when I inevitably upgrade to the newer model they’ll go back to their former glory.

Anywho I only wrote this review admittedly out of anger after like the 3rd time one of my earbuds died before the other despite charging them both at the same time every time I’m not using them. I’m not the type to have just one headphone in, I like to be immersed in whatever I’m listening to so yeah whenever this happens and I’m watching a movie on my laptop (like right now) it’s pretty inconvenient.

Hopefully in the time it took me to write this it’s at least charged a decent amount by now. And yes, I had to double check and make sure it was in fact charging. Actually as a matter of fact. yup, it was indeed charging.

Perhaps one day a double take won’t be necessary and I’ll be here when it does!.

I originally bought my first pair right before my state went into lockdown, when the older model of the Everyday was available, and let me tell you, I LOVED these suckers! They got me through the pandemic with obnoxious housemates, and after the lockdown lifted they went with me everywhere! After close to two years of use, I started to notice some audio wear, but they were still very much usable, and because of their water resistance they’ve become exclusively for listening to podcasts in the shower.

I wanted to purchase another pair in a different color, so I returned to the website and got myself a set of the Everydays in blue, and with my expectations high, waited with baited breath for them to arrive.

Upon opening my package, I found that the design and features of my beloved buds had been slightly altered, but not being one to shy away from change, decided to go in with my expectations high and excited! I enjoyed the new case, complete with a carrying strap and external charging lights for both the buds and the case itself, although as someone who enjoys moisturizing, I found it to be difficult to open said case with well-lotioned hands.

When it came to the buds themselves, I found myself enjoying the sleek matte design, although they seemed slightly bulkier and a little more weighty then the older model, but that wasn’t anything to be bothered about, they still stayed put felt great, with very little need for readjustment while in use.

However, my only strike against the new model was twofold; one being sound quality, the other being button function. Starting with the sound; while I appreciated the intent of adding more sound settings to the buds, the only noticable difference between the settings is when you put them in “Bass Sound”, the only useful function of the bunch.

Being used to the wonderfully full, warm sound of the original model, I was slightly disappointed by the almost tinny tones I was getting from the newest one. I found that I only got the results I usually would expect from my Raycons once I put them in Bass Sound, which is only the smallest of inconveniences, but I felt like it was worth noting that there was a noticable change in sound quality.

Secondly, in regards to the button function; we as humans don’t realize what we have until it’s gone, and while it maybe be a small gripe, I can’t believe how much I miss the simple one-click pause function! It seems so silly and small, but I find myself getting annoyed that the functions for “pause” and “volume” had been swapped, a change that my autopilot is still ajusting to.

All in all, regardless of my little gripes, I do think that this is an amazing product, and I find myself acting the salesperson and hyping them up to my friends, family, coworkers, really anyone who likes high quality wireless earbuds and saving money! I truly think that these are some of the best buds on the market today, and would recommend getting your own pair and trying them for yourself, I promise that the convenience and quality is worth the very fair price! I believe I have owned every iteration of the E25/Everyday earbuds as of now in 2023. I got the originals in 2020 and loved them, but sadly a drop on concrete cut my time short with them. I loved their bassy sound compared to other earbuds I’d tried.

Wanting that again, I got the E25 Pro. and sadly, the brand took a step back from the bass with those. It was a big complaint amongst detractors (mostly people that were honestly against the brand from day one) and while I still appreciate the company for listening to feedback, I felt it wasn’t a good move.

I rocked them though for over a year, which they were great for YouTube the most, but not music, and that’s with using two equalizers to make them sound better for music. Nothing helped. But at last, it feels like everyone can have their cake and eat it, too! The Everyday Earbuds have three profiles, so for the audiophile purists, they can have their sound (there is literally a sound profile on these called Pure Sound) and leave the rest of us who want bass at peace.

There is no app, so you will have to follow the steps to choose your profile by pressing the left bud for 3 seconds. However, it does remember your setting! You will not need to reset it every time you use them on your device.

The case is the same as the Pro, as in, you can see the charging lights both for the case and the buds to ensure they’re seated properly and are actually charging (admittedly, a small gripe I had with the originals, which lacked any charging icons).

The hinge was also improved with the Pros and carry over to The Everyday Earbuds. I love that these don’t have stems, which are annoying and yes, they fit snugly. You have multiple eartips to choose from.

And I have always liked that you physically press a button for the controls instead of finicky touch controls, where brushing hair out of your face or scratching an ear can lead to inputting a command.

The battery was improved from the Pro, too. I only just got mine today, so I’ve not stress-tested them to 100% ensure they last 8 hours per charge, but in owning two prior pairs and those meeting or exceeding their 6 hour limits, I’m confident these will as well.

I bought these by taking advantage of a BOGO offer and got my mom another pair as well. She lost one bud from the E25 Pro pair I gave her last year during a 12 hour nursing workshift. The other was accidentally washed, lol.

Her birthday is still a month out, but I’m so excited to give these to her. TL;DR: It feels good to be back at bass!.

The more earbuds I look at, the more I realize what an excellent value these are. Sound Quality – At first, I wasn’t completely thrilled with the sound quality, but again, these are not expensive earbuds.

Then I saw a video saying that if you’re using the smaller size gel tips, the bass leaks out around the sides of it and you’re not getting the full sound. I switched to larger gels and the sound improved dramatically.

I really think I would have to go to at least a $200 earbud to possibly get better sound and then I probably wouldn’t get all the features this one has that I enjoy. Touch Controls – I really wanted volume and playback controls on the earbud.

Most wireless earbuds will let you control those things via Siri, Google, etc. but I wanted touch controls, and these work great. I can walk with my phone in my pocket and by touching the earbuds, control volume, skip a track, etc.

Pairing with Multiple Devices – After the initial pairing, the Sesh Evo will pair automatically when you remove them from the case. Works great. But I use this regularly with my phone and with a Fire TV stick.

Going between the two took a little bit of practice but I learned the trick. When you have finished with one device, just go to Settings and choose Forget this Device. I also turn bluetooth off to keep it from searching.

Then the next device will pair quickly and easily. Battery Life – I’ve only had them a few days, but so far, I’m very impressed with the life on the buds themselves, and the case holds its charge incredibly well.

Fit – The only thing about changing to a larger gel tip (see above under Sound Quality) is that they don’t stay in my ears as well. In fact, one fell out in the toilet the other day. Yikes! But I put it in rice and it is working great.

(Whew!) I am now thinking of using the smaller ones and just switching to larger when I am listening to songs I really want to hear in great quality. That should take care of it. Overall, I recommend these earbuds highly.

Good quality sound, good battery life and fit and great controls.

Bought these a couple days ago and so far am very happy with them. I’ve only owned a few pairs of true wireless earbuds but these overall take the cake. I’m a fair bit of an audiophile, I like clean punchy bass, and crisp mids/highs, these are just that.

To be fair the bass could be a little bit stronger but overall they make me happy. These give a very pleasant listening experience, comfortable to wear for over 4 hours. They also don’t fall out easily and stay seated well in your ears.

Battery seems to last a long time, can’t say how long it will last in the future as I’ve only had these 2 days, but I would say at regular volumes these can last over 6 hours no sweat. Have yet to use the noise canceling as on their own they cancel noise very well (people have to wave me down even when listening at low volumes lol), ambient mode is a nice touch, and the talk thru mode works very well.

True to the word that you can have conversations as if you weren’t wearing ear buds. The different EQ modes are nice, have them tuned to the music I listen to and like how much you can customize the audio profile in the app(not sure what everyone complains about the app for as it works flawlessly).

The 360 audio is accurate and immersive. Only thing I don’t like is the gesture control in the app, wish it was a bit more customizable but that doesn’t really have anything to do with the product. Overall great product and will be buying more JBL products in the future.

The earbuds have a common issue where the app is incompatible with some phones. I could not believe there have been so many positive reviews of the product – when you look on app store for the app you will see most of the reviews are negative! The support via customer service was professional but they could not suggest anything other than resetting the buds or returning them.

I had to do my own research which took a lot of time. In the end I have found a work around that allows me to use the product though limits my access to features – I no longer use the app so am unable to switch between noise cancelling functions which was one reason I bought the product in the first place.

The returns policy is extremely lengthy too – I tried a new pair in hopes that would resolve the issue. Returning the first pair meant I had to find a friend who had a colour printer, went to the post office who had to open the box up and help me display the forms on the outside of the box because the rules of international shipping has now changed with Brexit, though this was not described on the instructions which was already very lengthy and confusing.

The earbuds are a great design and the sound quality is fab, especially for the discounted price. Unfortunately I would not recommend to others.

I am writing this in English since most of us speak and understand the language. I bought this pair of earbuds 3rd of February (kudos to the seller for awesome customer service), as my first pair of earbuds.

JBL live pro+, despite the bad app ratings on Google Play but good reviews on YouTube, are shockingly easy to use. It’s amazing how easy it was to do the set-up with a Samsung phone (Galaxy A71). I have had no issues with connectivity either.

It works great with PC too, though sometimes it doesn’t connect instantaneously. But let me inform you that these earbuds DOESN’T HAVE multipoint connection as written in some reviews on the net (you can’t connect to two devices simultaneously).

I have done one proper test and with ANC on the battery lasts 5,8 hours before you need to charge them. I’ll do some other tests just out of curiosity. The biggest deciding factors for these earbuds were battery life, 5x ear tips, ANC, and how good they are advertised on the net.

Although I was in doubt, I was shocked at how good they stay in the ears. If you can find the right tip, it will give you a fine ANC and they stay in the ear with whatever activity you do. xD Nevertheless, another major point is that the earbuds may give you some discomfort the first week, but after that, you can wear them for 5-6 hours without any discomfort.

Also, if you take them out for 10 min and then put them in again it will help a lot. Regarding the app, there are some major rooms for improvement. 1. Let the user freely control the gestures. We don’t want to lose the ability to control volume for ANC/ambient mode, play/pause for volume, and vice versa.

Let us control the gestures freely! 2. Let us control ANC/ambient strength. We need a strength bar. Other apps/companies have it. And even more foolish, some of JBL products have it, while others don’t.

Fix it please! 3. No need for GPS on! Why does the GPS have to be on to access the app?! It’s stupid! 4. Lastly, it’s hard to adjust the earbuds to make the ANC be on with both earbuds. A small adjustment may turn the ANC off.

It happens sometimes which I think is an app thing. In addition, if they aren’t stable in-ear they can stop the music because of auto-pause. This is annoying and hopefully, they will fix these problems.

Overall, a great user experience. As indicated they are almost perfect, but still, they were worth every penny.

I find myself preferring my Galaxy buds+, while the pro feels like I overpaid for a downgrade. To start off, the fit SUCKS. It falls off every few minutes unless you stand perfectly still, and then it’ll fall off within a half hour or so.

You’ll find yourself constantly trying to adjust it and shove it deeper into your ear, but the bulbus part of it is so large that it doesn’t quite stay fit. After awhile, they start to hurt on my ears, because the skin in my ears is feeling the pressure from trying to hold these slippery things in, whereas with the buds plus I never had any ear discomfort or issues whatsoever.

Then there’s the tapping- everytime I try to jam the pros back in it’ll do a tap or a double tap and completely mess up whatever I was listening to or watching. Somehow it’s super sensitive to touch, particularly when I’m trying to push it back in my ears, but when you actually need to touch it for pausing music or skipping videos, it lags in the touch and won’t always respond to light tapping.

I feel like I have to slam my finger several times so it can recognize the triple or double tap. With the buds plus, there was an edge in the buds where you could place your fingers and not worry about the touch controls going crazy.

Unfortunately, the buds pro’s touch button takes up the entire surface, so no matter how far on the edge my fingers are as I try to readjust them, the touch controls still respond and start pausing/playing my music.

As for sound quality, it’s pretty good, except you hardly enjoy it at full capacity because half the time these things are slipping off my ears and muffling the sound in the process. It also feels like I’m underwater half the time with the pressure these things place, it’s really uncomfortable.

I only bought these for the noise cancellation and to substitute my lost buds plus for something that would still have the same wearable app compatibility along with the familiar touch features. Sound quality and battery life are about the only neat things I can say of the buds pro.

But I miss my buds plus.

I’ve used several sets of Bluetooth earphones and headphones before, from the twenty dollar pharmacy specials to multi-hundred dollar top brand ones, and these are by far my favorites. I mostly use them to listen to media; voice (podcasts) as well as music.

They fit comfortably, they have excellent sound quality, the battery life is amazing, noise canceling works great and the wireless operating range is excellent. The earphones can only be charged in the case but the case has its own battery which will keep you going all day.

The case has a USB-C connector for charging from a wall charger; no charger is included but it does come with a short USB A to C cable. The case also charges wirelessly on any QI compatible wireless charger.

When the earphone batteries die, it takes just a few minutes in the case to get them charged up enough to put them back in your ears for hours. And you can use and charge each ear bud individually. Putting one ear bud in the case while you keep the other one in your ear won’t end your phone call (unless you accidentally touch the button of course) and neither will getting the second bud out of the case while wearing the other.

The earbuds can be paired with multiple devices at the same time (leave the case open, put both earbuds in your ears and hold the buttons for a few seconds until you hear a tone to go into pairing mode).

I have them paired with my phone, my work computer and my home computer. When you want to switch devices, you sometimes have to tell the currently connected device to disconnect, before you tell another device to connect.

You don’t have to use pairing to switch from one device to another. When using these earbuds for phone calls, the people on the other side have a much easier time to understand me than with any of my other earbuds.

Noise canceling is as good as you can expect. If you jam the earbuds all the way into your ears so no air gets past them, you’re completely cut off from your surroundings. But at least in my case, that also increases bone conductivity so I can hear every footstep or other motion in my ears, which is just too annoying.

So I usually pull them out just a tiny bit. I’m sure your mileage may vary: everyone’s ears are different. When you’re in a room with other people and you want to converse with them while wearing these, or when you’re in traffic, you can switch to “ambient sound” mode by pushing and holding the button on one of them (buttons are reprogrammable using an app).

In ambient sound mode, the earbuds play the sound from the microphones in your ears instead of using them to cancel noise. It makes it so it’s almost as if you’re not wearing them. I’m very happy with these earbuds, and I’m wearing them more often than I expected, and longer than I expected.

They’re not cheap, but definitely worth the money.

When talking in a quiet environment, the other party can hear me perfectly. Outside, however, they are a complete tragedy – my voice can barely be heard, as they mainly capture the background noise. I have also listened to recorded conversations – I really want to scold myself for talking from half a kilometer away from the phone.

I don’t know what tests you are doing there, but this is inadequate. This is a major functionality. In general, if you plan to have a call in an urban environment, don’t buy them until there’s info for a fix, because this problem has been around for a long time and it’s not just to me.

And for the Samsung folks – I’ve tried with and without the “Ambient sound during calls”. Speaking of which, if you want to hear colleagues in the office and people on a call, well you know, it won’t work.

The ambient sound function is also very bad, don’t expect to hear as if you were without headphones. In a noisy environment, you will hear everything but people’s voices. For example, in the gym, I have to take them off so that I can hear a person talking to me.

In general, certain frequencies that you are usually used to hearing and are important to the perception of your surroundings are dulled. If your idea is to listen to music at work and talk to your colleagues simultaneously – well, it won’t work.

Unless you keep the music to a minimum. and again, don’t expect much. I’ve tried all sorts of settings. Active noise canceling – well, I can’t judge with it or without it, the noise is reduced. If I’m not listening to music and it’s activated it’s as if I didn’t play it, even some outside noises are heard more distinctly when I switch it on.

So much for active noise cancellation. For music and conversations in a quiet place, the buds are great – but only for that. If you’re a total introvert, you’ll be happy. For the more communicative – don’t take them!.

In all honesty, despite decent sound quality when you finally manage to connect these, these are on par with any other $5 Bluetooth headphones from the dollar store. Its should be illegal to sell these for $100 let alone advertise all the bogus features it has like “noise cancelation” which is doesn’t actually have.

The amount of problems these things have for the price tag is ridiculous. Despite no damage or misuse, one earpod will always disconnect or refuse to pair, or somehow pair as a separate device seperate from the other earpod (how is that even a thing), headphones always making random annoying noises every few minutes while in use despite full battery, audio randomly cuts off all the time and resumes, charging these things can be a nightmare with the cheap USB port on the case which doesn’t grab the charger at all, you literally have to rest the case against something at an angle while its plugged in or the charger will easily fall out of the charging port.

On top of this, most of time it will charge for only like 30 seconds when plugged in then stop charging unless you unplug it and plug it back in (really like how?) Oh and the most annoying thing, anytime you plug these these things in to charge, you literally have to jump start the headphones to get them to turn on again.

By this, I mean that anytime you plug them in to charge, you cannot reconnect to them via Bluetooth unless the USB charger is plugged in while you’re pairing them despite them having full charge already.

If you charge them, take the charger out, then try to pair, the headphones will not even turn on when you open the case unless the charger is plugged in, even if you clearly just charged it to 100%. These things legitimately have a mind and personality of their own.

Somedays they can be semi-normal, other days they will cycle through every problem i just mentioned. Yes, this happened all straight out of the box. JBL, your company should be ashamed to be selling such garbage, ill never buy a product from this mediocre company again.

I knew I should’ve taken the same amount of money and just bought apple earpods instead which would have actually worked like regular Bluetooth headphones and lasted years, unlike this garbage. These things are good for if you feel like solving a puzzle everytime you want to listen to music, bc thats what these will feel like.

Funniest part is everything I said has been said by others in reviews prior to me buying these. I wish I read reviews on these before buying. How these have over two stars for reviews is proof that these childish companies fake their reviews instead of making solid products.

Big L, on this product and your company image JBL, ill personally never waste a single calorie of energy even making eye contact with a jbl product ever again. As soon as I buy actual functioning Bluetooth headphones I’m going to stomp on these until I feel like I got a $100 workout from a personal fitness trainer so I can atleast feel like I got some moneys worth out of it.

These earbuds provide very clear and pure sound, and are loud enough as well. Battery lasts much longer than I can listen to music continuously, and the case holds for 3 full recharges. They fit firmly and comfortably, never had problems with them falling off while walking or cycling.

They do not stick out of the ear too much and do not make me look funny. Touch controls work nicely, after you get used with the exact place of the touch sensors. Bluetooth connection is stable and without interruptions.

The tap combos are a bit of a weird solution for controls, but they do a fine job after you memorize them. I miss a strap and a small hook for the case – I’d like to strap the case to my keychain or be able to carry it in my hand without having to be all-careful about not dropping it.

Some people say active noise canceling is not as good for a high class product like these earbuds, but I found it to be perfectly fine. The ambient aware feature is a very good idea. Sometimes the noise canceling can make you miss important details of your surroundings, but the ambient aware feature makes this problem non-existent.

Hands free calls are fine, I haven’t had any complaints about people not hearing me clearly. The app is a bit annoying, popping up, asking to connect every time I start using the earbuds. This must be an automatic and background process, not bothering the user with unnecessary interactions after the initial setup.

I’m thinking of uninstalling it. A codec better than AAC would be very nice, aptX or LDAC for example, although few people would notice the difference in sound quality. Anyway, such good hardware can easily handle and benefit from codecs more advanced than SBC and AAC and it’s a shame they are not supported.

Overall, these earbuds are excellent, the case and app need one or two finishing touches. Don’t forget to set the streaming app to high quality sound to fully enjoy your 100 wisely spent dollars.

I have been using the earbuds for over a week now. It was very easy to connect them to my phone, because they came in charged I could do that immediately. I did have to look up how to insert the buds into the ear, but after a couple times of trying they fit perfectly.

The buds stay in very well, even stayed in during code yellow storms outside, so thats great! However this also means that after a couple of hours (3/4/5) of wearing them, my ears start to hurt and I am already wearing the smallest size.

The sound is good looking at price/ quality, very crisp. I know that it is possible to have better sounding music quality, but overall I am not dissapointed. The bass is indeed distinguished from the rest of the music, comparable to other products of JBL.

Personally I’m more fan of feeling the bass, that however is not the case with these buds. I am a bit dissapointed with the volume, sometimes I feel the vibe of listening to loud music and that is not possible with these buds.

They’re perfect for background music/ low volume music. The noise cancelling works great too, I can still hear things that happen outside but the sounds is muffled enough to be able to easily zone out.

(The difference between on and off is big if there is no music playing. ) Not a big fan of the talk through ambient sound control, can’t really understand the people around me nor hear the music + you can’t change the volume in this mode and it’s extremely low.

The microphones do a good job, during calls people on the other side did not notice anything different in terms of how I sound. The app is not very interesting, has a couple of options for settings but doesn’t add to the experience.

I love me some Bluetooth earbuds, but everything I have so far was quite a bit below the price point for these Sennheisers. This go round I thought to go up several notches on the price and see if there was a noticeable difference.

For the sound, charging, and customization available on the app, yes these definitely were a step or two up. Other areas actually kind of disappointed, but those areas depend on how and where you want to use your earbuds.

If you are looking at Sennheiser, you are probably looking for the best SOUND you can get in the price range. Their reputation is established, and they seem to be very focused on making sure that sound quality is second to none.

For this, the Momentum 3 meet the expectations, as the sound is excellent, and the phone app provides many ways to customize the sound and operation of the earbuds. FIT is excellent, as there are both several sizes of earbuds AND optional ear “fins” for an extra snug and secure fit if you need it.

More choices mean a little more time to get the fit sorted out, but there’s nothing wrong with that. Once you get your fit dialed in to your personal liking, you should be able to wear these for extended periods and stay comfortable.

The size of these buds is larger than most of the others I have used, and using them for extremely active workouts, or on the other end of the day putting your head on the pillow with these – probably not the best way to use them.

CALLING works fine for me. I can hear the caller with no issues, and the callers report that the sound is clear with no ambient noise. BATTERY provides several hours as advertised, and the case has plenty of capacity for a recharge or two.

Wireless charging is nice, and if you already have a wireless pad for other devices the Momentum should work fine with what you have. Bluetooth CONNECTION is solid and the phone app manages ALL connections, not just the connection with the phone.

Comparing to other wireless earbuds I use regularly, here are a few of the things missing that I am used to on other sets. CASE is larger than others I have and is a bit much for putting in a pants or shirt pocket.

If you are looking for something to carry around in your pocket – you probably want to move on. SWITCHING from one device to another (example from phone to desktop/laptop) requires use of the app, as you have to open the phone app, and use it to disconnect from one device and connect to the other device.

The app does show ALL the devices that the buds are paired with – which is the first time I have seen this in earbud apps, and you use the app to cut connection to the current device and switch connection the new device and the app takes if from there.

Sennheiser has been rumored to indicate that multi-point connection will be added with a firmware update but been there done that on promised updates that are about “missing” features. BATTERY LEVEL NOTIFICATION for some reason you don’t get an announcement about the battery level when you put in these buds.

If your buds need recharging, you will get a “recharge” notice, but no audible notice of high/med…. You can open the app on your phone and see what the battery level is, or check the connection status on your computer, but no verbal notification.

This seems to be some oversight and I hope this will be corrected with a firmware update. ANC is getting mixed reviews on these buds. Sennheiser has the “adaptive noise canceling” which adapts to ambient noise levels and gets “stronger” or “weaker” depending on surrounding noises.

It really does work, and there is also a “pass-through” function that works well and is adjustable using the app. However, I have compared the ANC in same environment with these Sennheisers, a lower price point pair of buds, and a medium price point headset.

The Sennheiser ANC is the least effective of these three. This is my personal experience and also my personal preference is that ANC should work at maximum effect all the time. I reckon that uses a wee bit more battery, but I’ll take that as acceptable trade-off for maximum ANC effectiveness.

Overall, no major complaints although honestly speaking other than the sound quality (which is excellent) I was expecting more from the “little things” like notifications, ANC, and multi-point that could come with this higher price point.

Best use for these seems to be the “wear during the day” applications as long as you have somewhere to put the case. Using for vigorous athletic activities or wearing them to bed… not so much. Greetings from Central Georgia!.

I am reasonably happy with these little earbuds. They mostly stay in my ear if I have put them in properly and are reasonably good at blocking out any other sounds that way. Might try a different earpiece size and see if that helps.

The only real problem I have with them is the charging function. Sometimes when I put them back in the little case they won’t start charging. They will just turn off. I then have to give them a little jiggle until the red charging light comes on, and then try to not touch it at all.

This doesn’t happen EVERY time. Most of the time it works. It’s just frustrating if I don’t notice it has stopped and so when I go to use them it lasts a short amount of time. I am not sure if it is a model defect or if I have just gotten the quality of what I have paid.

If I’m being honest the price is a bit too high for what your getting but It managed to last 9 months without breaking, the only thing thats actually broken after 9 month was the charging port not actually charging anymore, the rattling most likely from water and the little cover that I assume protects the speaker itself.

Other than that the bass is good and battery life is decent. The other problem is that sometimes it will turn off and not charge/shining red when put back into case, simple solution is by putting it back into the case and just moving it around the socket while holding down the button for a few seconds and then release, the red light should turn on and then you can just take it out and reconnect to the other earbud.

second issue is that sometimes it will just disconnect from the other earbud, another simple solution is to put both earbuds back into the case until they show they are charging and then take them out which with reconnect them together.

I hope this helps people that have already bought this item and are having issues with it.

Had these for a month. Pros – Battery Life. I’ve charged these only once when I first got them and the earbuds still have a bit of juice left. *although I haven’t used them too much after the first couple weeks for reasons I’ll note later.

– Works – Doesn’t fall out. – Can be more convenient than wired and better for sneaky sneaky. Cons – Cheap wired earphones under $20 sound better. These are a bit tinny (If you don’t compare to others it might seem absolutely fine to you).

– Audio lag for games is disconcerting. For video it is usually imperceptible but sometimes it does seem slightly off. *This is why I haven’t used these too often – only for music. – Weird eating with them in my ears.

– Can’t get used to walking around with them in my pockets. It’s just weird for some reason, so I use wired and usually only take these out when I wear cargo pants or have a bag. Extra – Was just testing these while I was writing the review.

I connected them to my laptop but somehow only my left earbud would connect. Then I tried connecting them to my phone and the right earbud worked so that I had one connected to my laptop and one to my phone.

After I turned off my laptop’s Bluetooth they both returned to working normally. – Looks like these are the same as the Redmi Airdots 2 if you’re looking for video reviews. So not the Airdots S with the low latency Gaming mode 🙁 Final note – Decent but lacking in features.

Could probably get better for a slightly higher budget. – I prefer wired. – For all the convenience of wireless, you get inconvenienced with an annoying box.

I received P10 and had similar issue like a few others, no sound from right earbud. Talked to tech support, did not find any problem, played with the bud and it just started working. After that, I got issue with right earbud intermittently, sometime no sound, sometime my phone cannot disconnect from earbuds after they are back in the case.

Then I realized it could the loose contact of right earbud and the case charge pin. I padded a piece of tape inside the case on top of right earbud, to force better contact. so far it has been working well.

sound quality is good. ANC works well, it is on by default, would prefer off to save power, but this is minor.

I recently bought these P10 ear buds. I love the fit, and the features. One day the right ear buds stopped working. I tried all the troubleshooting tips, but I couldn’t get it working. I heard that Taotronics had good customer service, so I decided to email them.

Nicole, a real person, responded within 24 hrs, and she followed through on all correspondence throughout the entire process. She was very helpful and informative. It was determined that the ear buds, needed replaced.

I quickly received a tracking number for a replacement. I am very impressed with my experience, which is why I am writing this review.

Received my replacement confirmation from Sicily , customer support department during this year end holiday. It was an exceptional support level that I rarely have experienced. A big 5 stars for Tao team and for Sicily as well.

The technical defect was a minor one, and an email from me to Tao asking for assistance was all I needed, and with a gracefully replacement offered from Tao after asking some feedbacks for product improvement.

I DO like this SoundLiberty Pro P10 ANC unit and also bought an additional pair of Boltune-Wireless Earbuds 030 with the anticipation of not getting mine repaired or replaced due to discontinue product of P10.

Highly recommended of this brand for price, quality and services.

TLDR; Great sound quality, Great fitting (even for something with cauliflower ear), Great for working out, Great build quality and design. Minor connection issues and very niche issues with customization within the JBL headphone app.

I have been using JBL products for a while (6 years). I have 3 different Charge 3s, the JBL Extreme 3, and some basic JBL wired headphones. The Bluetooth speakers are great products and have lasted much longer than expected.

I am notoriously rough, and borderline destructive with electronics, so all of these speakers have had a rough and long life. I previously owned a pair of JLab’s Epic Air Sport wireless headphones. I have been hesitant to use any headphones that do not secure or attach themselves due to using them for working out and the associated risk of falling out.

In addition, I have cauliflower ear which makes regular earbud retention a little more difficult. JLab at the time was the only wireless headphones that met my requirements. But after testing a pair of my wife’s in-ear earbuds and having no issue with retention or fitting, I decided to upgrade to a new pair of wireless headphones.

Being impressed with JBL’s previous products, I decided to get a pair made by JBL. The Vibes were too small and didn’t really fit, the Endurances were similar to the JLabs I had, and wanted something sleeker and simple.

The Tunes 230 fit well and met the requirements I was looking for. Out of the box, they fit great. I took them to the gym the next morning to test their retention while working out. They were great, even when running on a treadmill or outside on a trail.

I even tested them while doing some GHD Sit-ups and Back Extensions, no movement or any sense they may fall out. Saturated in sweat and still working as normal/designed. The sound quality is great! Just like the speakers, I was impressed with the quality of sound and the ability to adjust with the equalizer.

Good highs, and noticeable impressive bass for an earbud. The build quality is great! Solid and simple design. Again, I am little rough with electronics, and I have dropped both the earbuds individually and the case with the earbuds inside.

Other than an aesthetic scuff, there was no noticeable damage and they still work just the same. The main issue with these earbuds is the connectivity and customization. Note: I have ensured the JBL software is the most up-to-date.

The headphones do not always automatically connect to my phone. I have to end up putting them back into the case, closing the case for a moment, and then taking them back out again in order to get them to connect.

This is extremely frustrating. With the speakers, turn them on and they connect. With JLab’s earbuds, take them out of the case and they connect. I do not know what the issue is with JBL’s earbuds, but they do not always initially connect automatically.

In addition to connectivity, customization is limited. While the JBL Headphones app is great and offers more than enough, you are unable to customize headphones for individual use. I know this is a very niche situation, but as great as everything else is, it would seem this customization would be possible.

I put the headphone in to listen to music, not the surrounding environment. And in addition to the no noise canceling feature while using only one earbud, you are unable to adjust the equalizer as well.

I feel like the few issues they do have are not deal breakers, but I am a little disappointed in JBL. Before buying these earbuds, JBL was the pinnacle of wireless/Bluetooth sound and audio, something I would without hesitation recommend to friends, continue to buy their products myself, and be on the lookout for their newest greatest innovative products.

But these issues feel like an unfinished product and would suggest JBL is lowering its standards. Even though JBL’s lower standards still may be higher than the competition’s, I am now skeptical and not nearly as adamant about JBL.

So impressed with the sound quality, that I bought some for my son as well. With three different sizes of rubbers, you can make them very comfortable. Quick to recharge, and the carry case gives approximately 3 more full charges.

The only downside is the carry case is very smooth, so can easily slip through your fingers if you’re not careful.

Pros: Good battery life, decent sound quality, syncs easily, low latency mode works well. Cons: You cannot adjust the volume. The isolation could be better. It could allow to re-sync without the case.

Audio quality is Great ,But mic performance is poor. It catches noise more than your sound. Mic audio sensing is very poor

Google Pixel phones have a new companion earbud set that delivers truly stellar audio. Initial setup with my Pixel 4 XL was simple and intuitive. The system-level app on my phone established a connection quickly and initiated a comprehensive control panel to control earbud functions.

And while these earbuds are dialed-in to be supported in full by Google Pixel devices, they still function beautifully with non-Google Bluetooth 4. 0+ devices. Note: there is a small button on the back of the holding/charging case that MUST be pressed to pair this device with non-Google Bluetooth devices – that is a simple step that was not immediately obvious to me during my initial testing – pairing with my Google Pixel resulted directly from opening the case.

These earbuds have active noise cancellation technology – and to implement this, there needs to be some form of sound isolation. These earbuds are in-ear sealed inserts (as opposed to over-ear studio-style headphones).

This set comes with three different size rubber inner-ear plugs and the Pixel app can tell if the seal is sufficiently formed for you to experience the full range of noise cancellation. And the noise cancellation, in practice, is outstanding here.

With just a prolonged tap to the earbud, you can experience nearly every sound in your listening environment vanish from your awareness. Worth noting here that in the absence of nearly all ambient noise, you become more sensitive to digital artifacts that are introduced in the process of streaming music and its transmission via Bluetooth – in some quieter passages of music, you’ll be aware of the limitations of current streaming/transmission technology, but that’s not a criticism of this amazing set (just a warning).

Once you are comfortable with the position of the earbuds in your ear, controlling devices is very simple (Pixel and non-Pixel alike) – volume up/down by swiping forward/back on the earbuds, track forward/back with taps, track start/stop, and mode of Active Noise Cancellation.

Paired with my Pixel, I can answer/reject calls (with incredibly clear sound on calls!) and I can access Google assistant if I want. Both earbuds are touch-sensitive. All of that is nice. But it’s ultimately the sound here that is the selling point and I think Google has really asserted some dominance here – surprisingly clean and clear bass, excellent clarity over a broad spectrum without ANYTHING sounding like it has been altered for effect, and these tiny buds sport a welcome dynamic range that can even handle the subtleties of classical music.

As with most truly wireless earbuds with a case, this case serves as a supplemental charger – the buds can be depleted then charged again via the case without being connected to an external charge. The external charger here is a USB-C charger (the specifications state that the case can charged using a Qi-certified charger but my insanely cheap charger isn’t having it).

My only complaint so far involved updating the firmware (definitely something that required pairing with a Pixel phone!). This is a new product and I think you can expect frequent updates. My initial update explained that it might take up to 10 minutes to process – and implied that an interrupted download would simply resume where it left off – and both implications were wrong.

My initial update took nearly two hours to succeed; my downloads failed consistently and were always restarted from the beginning. When I finally completed my update, I had access to a feature called Volume EQ where you can choose to have low-volume audio processed with an audio frequency curve that helps your hearing maintain a consistent experience of sound at reduced volume.

Note – release materials suggest that additional updates are in the works including a spatial audio feature (in the fall?) that will improve immersive experiences when watching video content on Pixel phones.

I love these earbuds. They are very comfortable and they give me an incredible experience on my Pixel and top-notch sound on my Bluetooth devices (specifically my beloved 6th generation Ipod Touch). Sound is, ultimately, the most important consideration on these devices and I wholeheartedly recommend these as contenders for the top of the heap.

The sound quality of these buds is superb. Add Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and it only gets better. Good soundstage with excellent bass response and are very enjoyable to listen to. The ANC does a great job of removing unwanted noise with a 6-core custom chip that’s tuned by Google’s engineers.

There is a feature in the app to make sure you are using the right sized eartips and that you have a good seal. If you are using a PIxel phone, then you don’t need to download the Pixel Buds appYou don’t have to do anything but open the case and nearly instantly the automatic pairing appears.

This Fast Pair functionality works with any Android 6. 0+ device but you will need to download the app if you are not using a Google Pixel. The app is not available on iOS. You’ll also get audio switching if using more than one Android device such as phone and tablet signed into the same Google account.

I think the controls are the most intuitive I’ve used on a pair of earbuds. Use a swipe forward gesture on either bud to increase the volume or back to decrease it. One tap will pause or resume the song, two taps will advance the song, and three will go to the previous.

You can customize a long-press on either earbud to toggle ANC/Transparency or to summon Google Assistant. I’ve had earbuds in the past where you had to physically push them (which just pushes them into your ear further) to control things, whereas these are just a light tap or swipe.

Google’s engineers did well here as there are premium wireless in-ears on the market right now that don’t even have touch volume controls! Removing one earbud from your ears will automatically pause the music (if available depending on application) and will resume when you put it back in your ear.

The ANC has a pressure sensor and I’m not sure how it works but will relieve this pressure if needed to ensure that the listening experience remains comfortable. That is important because these have incredible battery life and can last for nearly an entire 8-hour workday with ANC on and when you put the buds back in the case should be able to go all day listening with ANC before needing a power source.

Speaking of the case, it’s round and compact, thin, supports wireless charging, and should fit comfortably in pockets. I’ve had no issues wearing these for hours at a time. Really, the only con is if you are an iPhone user and not Android.

Of course, these work fine on iOS or any other Bluetooth device and still sound fantastic but you’ll be missing out on some features such as Google Assistant, Notifications, and Fast Pairing. However, this will the same situation with any headphone that’s not made by Apple.

I’m also not sure how you would configure the headphones or even update the firmware without an Android device. Spatial audio not available until Fall 22 At the end of the day, these are the best sounding ANC earbuds I have ever heard and recommend them to anyone, and if you have a Pixel phone that are a must have in my opinion!.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro have a nice look with a smooth, matte case that flips open to easily access the ear buds. I think it is kind of fun that multiple Pixel Buds colors are offered to change things up a bit with charcoal, coral, fog and lemongrass.

The fit is quite comfortable for easy listening, Zoom and use at the office, but I don’t think I’d trust them to stay put with any really strenuous activity. The Pixel Buds come with additional ear tips to customize your fit and the app will run an ear tip seal test should you find that helpful.

A small note, but I appreciate that the product packaging is environmentally friendly and recyclable. Fast pairing of the Pixel Buds is simple with the case open, just hold the pairing button on the back until it begins to blink white.

In using these for about a week I’ve found the charge to suit my needs nicely with a promised 7 hours of listening time with active noise cancelling (ANC) on or 11 hours with ANC off. Charge your case fully and these numbers go up to 20 hours and 31 hours, respectively.

No USB-C charging cable is included, but I think most will already have one available so I don’t see this as a big deal. It’s handy that the case’s status light will also indicate whether Pixel Buds are fully charged, charging or the status of the charge case itself among other indicators.

Sound quality is quite good. Volume EQ is available and will automatically adjust one’s EQ as the volume is turned up or down. It seems to adjust bass and treble with the intent to balance highs, mids and lows to clearly hear all sounds in a song.

The result seems quite pleasant to me and the clarity is great. A promised update for the Fall is spatial audio to put one in the middle of the action while viewing a tv show or movie on compatible Pixel phones.

I’ve gotten favorable responses when I’ve asked callers how I sound on their end of the conversation. The Pixel Buds app is needed to obtain updates, do a seal fit test or to access customization features.

Set up Google Assistant (on Pixel and Android 6. 0+ only) and a simple Hey Google or OK Google will allow one to speak to Google Assistant or hear one’s notifications. This is a nice option for hands free access to control one’s music, respond to texts or ask Google for directions.

Another nice option is the ability to use Google Translate through Google Assistant or via the Google Translate app. On a regular basis, I just want to pop my ear buds in and start listening so my favorite feature about the Pixel Buds has to be the intuitive controls that make regular use of the app fairly obsolete.

Yes, you’ll find the typical motion controls to play/pause media, answer calls and the like, but I really like the ability to swipe back and forth to decrease or increase volume. I’ve found the controls to work quite well for all of these functions including the long press to switch between ANC and transparency mode (or customize to include activation of Google Assistant).

The Google Pixel Buds Pro have a lot to offer, especially if you’re an Android user. Apple users won’t have access to the app and thus won’t be able to acquire updates so I’d probably look for alternatives in this case.

Otherwise, sound quality, intuitive controls, Google interface, water resistance, and active noise cancellation are among the list of features that really make these a nice choice.
