Best Docker Containers For Home (2024 Updated)

I LOVE this storage container. I have been organizing my craft room and have found SO much stuff that is difficult to store together. I am forever knocking over cups that are filled with the items I finally put into this container.

With this container, I store all of my “art” writing/drawing utensils. From sketch pencils, colored pencils, erasers/sharpeners, gel pens, brush markers, dual tip markers, paint pens. I am able to store it all.

I bought 2 containers, so one is for all the markers/paint pens- the other is for pencils and crayons. I plan to get another one to organize paint brushes and some paints. It isn’t the best for storing basic crafting acrylic paints, if you want to stand them upright.

ALL of the bottles are too tall. I also like that it is multi sectional and I was able to fit in small containers next to each other. I especially like that it is clear and all if my stored items are easily visible.

PLUS, the cost is excellent, compared to craft store prices.

I bought this box several years ago to organize hand sewing items. This box is just fantastic. I can remove and just use the color organizer tray or take all three sections with me. I can leave one section home and choose to carry just two sections.

Love the clear sides so I can see what’s in each layer. I’m here looking to buy a couple more to store artist watercolor paints and craft supplies. Had used a famous company art tote box and really prefer these (at a fraction of the cost too!).

This well thought out box is one if my most favorite organizers I’ve ever bought. I’ve dropped it a couple times and didn’t crack or break. It’s been very durable. It holds so much more than it looks too.

Just the right size for multiple sewing and pinking sheers. Going to try combining sets to see if I can stack 4 or 5 trays from two different sets together as one unit. Looks very much like that will be possible.

I love the Stack & Carry storage box! It’s a great way to store and organize art and craft supplies by category, as well as organizing other things like my collection of colorful sox! I have several of these storage containers that help me organize my craft projects, or the supplies needed for the creativity workshops I teach as each workshop has different art supply needs, so bookbinding kits and supplies go into one storage unit while color pencils and coloring books and pages go into another unit.

I can grab and go with ease, knowing all the supplies for any given workshop is already assembled together! I’m sure I will be buying more of these for more organizing in my studio.

IRIS USA storage boxes are great! They are made of clear plastic, so you can see all the contents no need to label them. The boxes are stackable which makes them so convenient to store. The are perfectly sized for shoes, belts, toys, etc.

The best part they are made in USA of BPA-Free plastic and don’t have a chemical smell like many plastic storage boxes do. I’m very happy with this set!.

I have been using these storage boxes for a while. They are not as hard or stiff. Pretty moldable and loose. The rigidity of the boxes is pretty low, you can easily deform the shape of the box by your hand.

Overall, they are good if you want to use these for storing some loose items or objects which are not pretty heavy.

These boxes are the perfect size for me to storage all my shoes. I was able to get rid of all the mismatched shoe boxes and now my closet looks a lot more appealing. These boxes are clear which make it easy to see the contents inside.

Only gave 4 stars because the plastic is very flimsy.

These are pretty nice, made of polyester not really cloth. Color is quite bright but good. Handle is just on one side but pretty sturdy. Cardboard construction like most of these cheaply made storage cubes.

Not sure how long they’ll last but these were better than some of the other cheaply made ones for about the same price so I kept them. I wish they were real fabric or at least thicker.

These storage bins work like a charm. I am using mine in my linen closet where I had some odds and ends that I needed to store and hide. They really make my closet look neater, cleaner and they really give me more room for storage.

They keep things at bay instead of just being crammed onto the shelves. I got the tan-colored ones which look clean. When I open my closet, it makes me go “Ahhhhh. ”.

I purchased these to hold toys for our little one. They fit nicely under the twin size captains bed and keep the room looking tidy. For reference we have 4 containers under the bed now. Two at the head of the bed and two at the foot of the bed.

There is still plenty of room about the width of the steps leading up to the bed. Once our little one moves up to a full or queen size bed I plan to reuse the containers with lids. They are a great quality and I like that they are clear.

Currently one holds books, one holds games, on hold stuffies and the other holds hard plastic toys like trucks, trains, planes, and cars. They are great for organizing!.

The lids are not sized or designed properly to latch. As I was checking out, the clerk even mentioned, “I don’t think this is the right lid. It doesn’t fit right. ” Thinking maybe it was because we didn’t have it on a flat surface, I bought it.

When I got home and tried it every way, the lid never did fit or latch properly. The box is good, so if you don’t have anything important you are trying to store or to keep sealed, it’ll work. However, if you do have important stuff that you wouldn’t want to get messed up, go with the Ziplock Weathertight or the Container Store Weathertight boxes.

Disrespectful that the quality product that is sterilite was replaced with this weird shaped thing, and we are expected to pay twice as much? For this?. Because I will not fall into the ploy of replacing all the ones I already have with these (that would only make whoever made this stupid change happy) I’ll just go and spend my money on the product I actually want elsewhere.

And if I have to pay extra there, so be it but I will not reward target by buying more of them after switching to junk. Anyone else reading, please don’t spend more money to make the boxes match, that’s exactly what they want.

I got these to store something specific in but not use the little units inside however this gem offers so many options. I’m using the inner cases to various drawers in the house to section off things so now I no longer have messy drawers and they’re great value.

Bought this item on line and there was a problem with lack of lids. I went in to enquire in person – nothing happened. Went in again and was served by Alex. He made me feel that my (modest) purchases were important, and apologized profusely for prior issues.

He promised to look into it and get back to me. After the story thus far, I wasn’t holding my breath. Turns out Alex went above and beyond to fill my order. I was so happy (& surprised) at the level of service I received.

He completely turned the whole experience. I will no longer whinge about service @ Bunnings – they still have some stars.

With my ever-growing fabric collection, it was time to invest in new storage possibilities. These storage boxes fit the bill perfectly. I can sort my fabric into color and type, and easily determine what’s in each box because they are transparent until I initiate my more detailed “fabric indexing system” in the future.

Each box stores a lot of fabric. I also use these boxes to store out-of-season casual clothing like racerbacks, t-shirts, sweaters, etc. I appreciate the multiple uses I derive from these boxes.

This family of simple lidded boxes is great because of what it does not have: latches. Almost every other plastic storage bin I have has two latches, either part of the lid or of the box, and they are prone to falling off and getting lost.

The lids on this series snap on by flexing the lid, so there is nothing to fall off. They are also inexpensive, and stack neatly, so I’ve standardized on the 1600 series. As a beekeeper, I fit the 1659 with a rectangular wooden frame and use them to store 9 frames of comb.

I love these bins and use them all the time. The lids don’t stay on tight if the bin is holding heavy items and you pick them up, but you can’t beat the price. DO NOT ORDER them online thought. I usually buy in store, but decided to order them online because the price is cheaper ,and then I do not need to go to the store.

All of them came with broken corners. I need to use them right now and won’t be returning them, but also will not be ordering them online. Fedex must toss the boxes around like crazy.

I have so many of these around my house and I love them. They are very sturdy and well-made for a very reasonable price. I love that they are useful for pretty much anything — storing seasonal decorations, keeping your craft or sewing supplies together, organizing tools, clothing, accessories, you name it.

These bins are so handy to have around the house in any room. I stack them in my closet and on my shelves, and they keep everything out of the way but I can see what is inside and still get to it easily if I have to.

You seriously can’t go wrong with these.

Great price and nice strong item to protect my food and utensils from ant invasion. I knew where to look for a great low cost response. I even bought a few more of these. Nice for storing items, as a sewing or craft items box, or to organize your cupboards.

The employees at this star are the BEST. So nice, helpful, they will stop what they are doing and take you right to the item you needed to find. They do it with a smile. The snack and food items there have fabulous ales for stocking up, good brands.

IMportant too,the store is IMMACULATE! At the beginning of pandemic, many stores had empty shelves. I thought I will check BIG LOTS FOOD DEPT. ahhh yes, they had more than the big stores. Maybe just a few soups, crackers, canned fruit, cookies, chips.

Perfect size and dimensions for most needs. Just large enough to accommodate items of varying sizes, but just small enough to fit on most standard shelves properly. Also able to organize and store through vertical stacking, without being unstable.

Strong and durable, without cracking under stacked weight. Clear bottom piece makes identification of contents easy. White top lid piece makes for a very clean look. Sterilite has a winner with this design.

I work as an industrial technician. I use a lot of these type of cases for various parts, components, screws, bolts, nuts, hex heads, washers, springs, connectors, fuses, spacers, etc, etc, etc. I’d guess I own about 30 from various manufactures.

Needed some more and found these. Price was better than any other hardware, big box, or online retailer I could find. I got a couple to try, I was concerned that for the price they would, shall we say be worthy of the low price.

I was rather surprised, Now I’m not saying these are heavy duty, but thus far they’ve proven to be quite solid. For the price a definite 5 out of 5 stars. Compared to the others I own from major brands, a very respectable 4 out of 5 stars.

Went back got another 20 or so. Little side hint: The biggest issue with cases like this for me has been small parts getting under the dividers and/or the dividers popping out leading to everything getting mixed up.

Especially when moving between jobs. My go to solution has been to put a bead of clear caulking in the sides and bottom slots where the dividers go just before inserting the dividers. Give it a day to set up and nothing will will ever slide under then again.

it also helps to hold the dividers in place so they don’t accidentally pop out when your grabbing some parts. And unlike permanent glues, if you change your mind and want to reconfigure the case. A solid pull can still get the divider out.

I bought these to use as jewelry boxes. I was tired of all my chains getting tangled and not being able to find a jewelry set. Each compartment perfectly fits a matching necklace, bracelet and earrings and all my chains have their own compartment, too.

Place them in a square, snap on the lid and place the box in my bureau drawer. Because the squares are adjustable, I am able to fit even bulkier necklaces and pearls and best of all the storage box is made of clear plastic, lightweight and see thru.

I used to keep everything in boxes but had to open every box to see what was inside. Now I’ve thrown all those boxes out and have a compact way of storing my jewelry. Best of all is the price, must cheaper version of a jewelry box than those sold in a department store which are really non functional.

I needed a small tool holder for home tools for my apt. I bought one but needed a storage holder for screws anchors and other pieces of hardware to put into my tool holder. This worked for me. I might have purchased a bigger storage container but it is good for me now as I don’t have too many screws etc.

I used to have a business and of course I had a drawer storage unit like a fish tackle box. This is perfect for me now but as I get more anchors, screws etc then I might either get one more or a bigger one.

The price was right and it fit into my small tool holder so for me it is perfect!.

I like these totes because they are the perfect size to handle, not big and bulky like the next size up. I like that they are clear and you can readily see what’s in them. The price was cheaper than other stores I checked at.

I bought several for various storage. I am using two of them for trips to put cosmetics and one for miscellaneous. So many uses and great for garage storage, keeps the bugs, dirt and spiders away!.

I wish the price could be less expensive because I needed to buy so many bin to organize/prioritize. Everything fits into this size bin, and can be labeled very nicely. Excellent for items like: Cards/gift cards/address bin.

These are the perfect size for storing/filing important paperwork, keeping them clean and possibly dust free. I use one for my Bible and Bible study materials. They are great organization tools! I was using the taller large clip boxes, but decided with my back issues, those are better for storing light weight clothing like socks, underwear, and I can fit about 6 pair of rolled up leggings in the taller one.

As a single mom whose rent is 85% of my income and electric being 15% or more, I realize we must find a cheaper place to live. I could sell my dressers, use these to store my clothes and important documents, then use them to create a dividing wall, if needed.

I use to do a lot sewing crafts, and this is how I stored all of my supplies. Ribbon, googling eyes, zippers, hot glue guns and other various items are easy to keep and find in these nifty totes. The latches are great.

They hold up to the test time. I can always find what I’m looking for too.

I am a bin person. I feel like it keeps everything more organized and so, I use them for just about everything from shoes to my craft supplies to my kids’ toys. For the price they’re at, I would say they’re great but if you want to compare them to the old sterilite bins that came with the white tops, I would say the white tops were definitely better.

These are smaller in size, a bit more flimsy and the lid doesn’t stay on as great as the old ones but again, for the price they’re at, can’t really complain. They get the job done.

The plastic is flexible and thin. In the store all stacked in the package there is no real way to tell. The lids pop off. The sides flex when moved. I added some sewing supplies (no fabric) and placing it in my closet it feels like I can expect to replace them soon.

I loved the perceived value thinking that this is such a good deal. This brand is inconsistent.

These containers are very good for shoes. if you’re looking for something that is very easy to keep up with your shoes and plus you are able to look to see what pair of shoes you want to wear.

This Sterilite 60 Quart ClearView Latch Wheeled Underbed box is co convenient and a huge space saver. I have a few of them and they are they are all filled with different items. For instance the one under my bed has makeup in it and it’s tightly closed and stored under my bed.

Therefore, I don’t have to worry about the items inside. In another one I have multiple quilts and fleece blankets and it’s closed tightly and stored under one of the beds in my spare bedroom. These are great for holding and hiding your items.

They are heavy duty, hold a lot and are on wheels for easy storage. I would definitely recommend trying these Sterilite 60 Quart ClearView Latch Wheeled Underbed box.

I didn’t realize how much Sterilite products I have until I had to fill this in on #influenster. Their products are inexpensive but hold up really well. I still have products that have gone through 5-6 moves.

And they do get bashed around. Now this product specifically, I use one in my basement for my Christmas stuff including wrapping paper. It can be rolled around easily if moving is needed. It’s lightweight but it’s perfect for my needs.

(’22) IC: Daily Task – This Sterlite Underbed Box is amazing. The latch secures whatever you want to. It is big and long that the wheels allows you to maneuver it underneath your bed with ease; no matter the surface your bed is on.

The latches are on each side, so no worries, and snaps without a problem. I used my box for sweaters and scarfs for winter. I bought this one at K-Mart years ago and it’s still hanging strong. I wipe it down with a towel for any dust residue.

I would recommend it to anyone.

I purchased many of these for personal and costume storage for our high school. Nice sized and fit perfectionly in our cabinets. If only to find a way to get a good bulk order for all our costumes. My previous order was for my daughters wedding.

Great except due to schedules I was not able to return the one that was completely cracked in the corner with a hole. I do not think they check each one before filling my order. I now need to find that one and take it back.

Hopefully they will exchange it. Overall, Love these.

I have some 64 quart “Latching Box” boxes from Sterilite that I got a few years ago. Those are great. I saw that this was the same size, and was in stock (it has almost the same dimensions as the 64 quart box and I wanted to fit on a shelf with them).

This 66 quart “Clear Latch” box is not good. It’s ten dollars but it feels like a 3 dollar bin. Or more specifically, it feels like the 6 dollar Sterilite “Storage Tote” that tends to get clearanced for 3 dollars after back to school and such.

The huge problem with this 66 quart clear latch is that the lid is flimsy. When it’s not on the box, it bends and flops. It’s a matter of time until it cracks. The box is not as sturdy as I would expect for the price, either.

There is no way I can use this box to move apartments without me fully expecting it to crack. It’s like the 6 dollar boxes that go on sale for 3 dollars. I also got some of those a few years ago, and half are trashed.

I really hope that Sterilite didn’t change their design for latching boxes. I see that “Latching Box”, which is the good one and much sturdier than this one – both the box and the lid, is still for sale at many stores.

I strongly suggest that you get 64 quart of that. It’s almost exactly the same dimensions inch for inch, but that one is built like a tank. This 66 quart “Clear Latch” is flimsy. This is not it.

I had been looking for storage containers for Christmas decorations and I was desperate. We had moved a few months ago and all containers were sold-out?. I saw just what we needed in a Big Lots circular.

This storage container was the perfect size and a great price. All of my last fragile ornaments were taken care of and finally, we could finish up our move! The container is sturdy enough to protect my breakables while I can see what’s inside without opening it.

I knew Big Lots would have what we needed and we had moved just around the corner from their store!.

We used this to store my daughter’s breakable pieces for some larger doll toys and accessories. This was the PERFECT box for them! It was deep enough to hold larger items and clear, so that we could see inside.

The clips on the lids have held securely, so that we don’t have to worry about things falling out accidentally while carrying. It’s nice and flat, so that we can easily stack her storage containers together.

I would definitely get more of these; these are SO useful, and I can see the boxes being used for toy building sets / bricks, too! My only quibble is that it’s not completely one size; it gets larger towards the top.

I would rather it be consistent to maximize storage usage. I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.

Ok, so maybe I went overboard and bought ALOT of the Sterlite containers. I got 24 of the 27 QT, 12 of the 66 Qt. , 10 of the 15 Qt. and about 10 of the 6 Qt. What I didn’t initially know is that they fit perfectly on top of each other.

the 15’s have same footprint as the taller 27’s. Two 6’s fit on top of a 15 and two 27’s fit on top of the 66’s. I’m super stoked about the how well they fit together. The took the place of my stacks of cardboard boxes that were so inefficient.

This 66 Qt size here is great for bigger things. In my picture, they are at the bottom. Next project with be my husband’s camping gear (all in old carboard boxes (ugh!) and I look forward to finding things we need easily with these storage boxes and labels.

Very nice set of baskets that was shipped in a separate box for each size very quickly, but not stackable. I searched Target for stacking baskets and this was one of the results. The product Highlights states that these are stackable.

However, when they arrived, I received are not the Sterlite Stacking Baskets, but the white nesting Sterlite Ultra baskets in three sizes – models #1622 Small, #1624 Medium, and #1626 Large. I have been looking up online if there is a way to have these stack, but it looks like the stackable Sterlite baskets are more squared off.

The Sterlite website lists the model numbers of the stacking baskets as #1660 Small, #1662 Medium, and #1664 Large. I would not recommend these baskets for someone who needs a stackable set, but would recommend for someone who wants nesting baskets.

They are sturdy plastic with comfortable handles. I could see using them in a storage area where you need baskets that endure frequent use, support heavier items in proportion, and easily wiping out liquids and powders that spill, such as a laundry room, pantry, bathroom storage, and perhaps some garages.

Sterilite Plastic Baskets, 15. 88″ x 12. 88″, White, 6-Pieces – these are great baskets! They are flat inside, so it is much easier to store items. They are very well made and strong, so they last a very long time.

Why are they getting hard to find? These are a great product Sterilite, so please keep making them. Highly recommend.

This bundle of six medium sized storage baskets work great for just about anything you can think of to stuff in them. The inside measurements of the basket itself is 12″ in Length and 9 1/2″ in Width.

The outside measurements of the basket is 13 1/2″ in Length and 10 1/2″ in Width. The handles are built into the basket itself and the entire basket is very sturdy. I use them for books, DVDs, video games, craft supplies, small toys, Legos, toiletries, office supplies, etc.

I am also able to keep the tea, coffee and all my K-cups together in one spot now. There are too many uses that I could think of to list here and I’m sure that you could find your own uses for them, as well.

The baskets themselves are very sturdy. As I listed above, I have filled and I mean FILLED one of these baskets with books, Hardcover Books. It is quite heavy but, there seems to be no problem. It is not cracking or showing any signs of breaking.

The handles are well protected and seem strong enough to endure most any bumps, falls, or crashes. This is a good size to have around the house to organize just about anything. I am so glad that this bundle came with six baskets because I needed all of them.

I bought these boxes a few years ago and have gotten so much use out of them ever since. I have moved too many times and also put my belongings in storage. When packing, it’s so easy to close these as opposed to dealing with tape on cardboard boxes.

When unpacking, being able to see what’s inside is extremely helpful. I had my belongings moved cross country and everything in these boxes stayed clean and dry whereas all my furniture got water damaged and dirty.

Plus they’re great for storage once you are done moving. If you’re thinking of buying cardboard boxes for moving, get these instead. For a little more money, you’ll use them for years and they will make your life easier.

Plus made in the USA! A few of mine arrived with broken handles but TCS promptly corrected the problem with their excellent customer service. I know we need to cut down on plastic but at least these will last forever, out of the landfill.

These 17 quart clear storage boxes are perfect for organizing any mess or clutter! We actually utilize this set of boxes to organize my children’s toy area and they are just the right size. These containers are just large enough to fit most of their toys and keep things all tidy and organized.

We use them to store and separate out different toy sets such as, blocks, Legos, dominos, puzzles, magnet tile, trains and cars, other assorted play toys, and etc. The possibilities are endless but we love it because it keeps their play area a lot more organized.

We prefer clear storage boxes because it allows them to visually identify what stored inside to make for ease of finding their toys. The lids close sufficiently enough to keep their toys contained and stack well enough when closed.

While the lid is not as secure as maybe a latched type container, it secure enough yet easy enough for my 3 year old son to open the box himself. We can now enjoy a much more tidy play area with these new containers keeping all those toys contained, but the additional bonus is that we can teach our kids to put their toys back to help them learn to keep organized; never too early start, especially if you can’t stand clutter like me!.

I live in an apartment and always find it hard to keep my closet organized and clean. I have tried many kind of plastic storage boxes but couldn’t find something that I really wanted. These storage boxes are what i was looking for these are transparent and have buckles on all sides for extra protection.

The plastic quality is amazing. These boxes are sturdy and stable. I have used these for organizing my clothes and these have enough space inside. These can easily stacked together to save some space in closet.

These are great boxes, I just wish the dimensions were slightly different. I’d love to be able to fit either DVDs or CDs in these but neither fit quite right. However since it is a really nice box I found other uses for it.

I’m even planning on picking up a few more.

These were just what I was looking for! I bought two of the larger boxes, and one smaller, to store all the bottles and tubes in my bathroom cupboard. They are sturdy and attractive, and fitted the space perfectly.

These storage containers would be perfect if it wasn’t for the residue they give off on your items. My intended use was to store seasonal extra clothing not often used and/or doesn’t fit in my closet.

They left a white powdery residue on all of my clothing so now I must rewash everything. I tried to wash the boxes and wipe them down before storing items but can’t seem to get it off completely. I imagine this residue is not skin friendly and likely toxic.

something to consider before purchasing! Container Store please do something about this. I’ve never encountered this with containers purchased elsewhere.

I own an earlier version. I didn’t realize until I brought this home that the lid barely fits. It’s too loose. I actually used a clear moving tape on one side to make sure the lid would stay on. I would like to buy more, but until the lid fits better and more snugly, I won’t and not for this price.

The Container Store can make better lids for the price being charged. Please fix the lids.

These boxes all come with white residue, even if you wash them, over time, the boxes become foggy & sticky again. And it’s not due to moisture because I use dehumidifiers. I bought about 30 of them. Really disappointing quality.

I’m worried they’ll ruin my designer shoes. I’d switch over to the crystal clear boxes they offer but those are more expensive.
