20 Best Dipping Sauces For Chicken (2023 Updated)

This quickly went from “something I bought on a whim” to “something that is now mandatory to have in my fridge”. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, chimichangas, egg rolls. If the main dish has a primarily savory or vegetable flavor to it, this stuff works wonders.

So far the only thing I’ve tried that it didn’t match with was a pepperoni calzone. And yah, I kinda saw that coming. Once you’ve tasted it yourself, you’re stomach will quickly guide you in the right direction.

It’s a generic brand’s generic sauce, but it embraces both of those facts and turns them into its greatest strength. Like mayonnaise, the flavor is mild. Like BBQ sauce, it enhances almost anything it’s put on.

It adds to a dish without overpowering it. At the very least, I can guarantee that you won’t regret trying it.

This sauce just ain’t Great. it’s SUPER! Walmart’s Great Value products just keep getting better and better. Maybe they should open a Great Value grocery store and forget all tho$e other brand$. I can think of a few besides this chicken sauce that are a step up from Great.

I absolutely love this! It tastes just like chick-fil-a sauce but is a much better price (and less controversial). It’s such a versatile sauce, with a beautiful sweet and tangy flavor that complements so many foods! Definitely an essential that I make sure to keep stocked up!.

I made an Asian salad with lemon chicken, lettuce, onion, bean sprouts, and water chestnuts. I had just brought home some of this Hawaiian sauce which is slightly sweet and used a dollop of the sauce and a tablespoon of sesame oil.

It made a really good salad dressing. I don’t know how else you’d use it, probably basting pork or chicken on the grill.

I must be one of the few people who think that Chick-Fil-A is overrated. Their sauce is nothing to rave about and I’m not exactly sure why everyone talks about it as if it’s the only good tasting sauce on the entire planet.

Well, guess what? It’s not. McDonald’s sauce is way better and less homophobic. Heck, Wendy’s has some great sauce too! Why not try those restaurants? They’re cheaper and have better tasting sauces and food.

You won’t have to sit in line for hours. And you might feel better knowing that you’re not supporting a homophobic company who funds programs to hurt members of the LGBTQ.

The first time I had a taste of this sauce, I made sure I always ask for extra piece. The flavor is simply delicious as dip to chicken, meat or fish. When, we moved to another state, Chick-fil-a is quite far from where we live.

I was surprise that Amazon carries the Polynesian sauce and my cravings for this sauce has been met. Just 2 weeks ago, I saw Walmart has Chick-fil-a Polynesian sauce at the grocery area and it’s price is cheap.

Taste just like it…. I read some reviews on here that said it didn’t taste anything like it which made me hesitant to buy it. But honestly I wouldn’t pay attention to that it taste exactly like the sauce at Chick-fil-A.

Definitely recommend buying it if your like me who buy’s large quantities from Chick-fil-A. This is definitely a cheaper way to go and it taste exactly the same.

No, no, no! Why are companies afraid to put enough peanuts in peanut sauce these days? I agree with another reviewer who said it tastes like a tangy marinade and not a dipping sauce (it’s marketed as both).

I’m actually adding peanut butter to it until I use it up.

Peanut sauce is one of my favorite foodstuffs, and I don’t consider myself picky about it. I figured I couldn’t really go wrong with this since I’ve never met a peanut sauce that I didn’t like. But there is just something about this one that makes it seem much more like a marinade than a dipping sauce, and the best way I can think to describe it that it seems maybe way too salty? It wasn’t too tangy, because I love vinegar.

It stung me more like salt. I first tried to use it as a dipping sauce, and then to brighten up a salad I had, but both attempts were bad. I’m sure it’s great to cook with, or maybe diluted in other ingredients, but I couldn’t eat it by itself.

Unfortunately the bottle arrived damaged. As soon as I opened the package, I was hit with a strong vinegar smell. I noticed the lid was cracked and had product leaking all over the bottle. The expiration date was rubbed off so I wasn’t sure if it was still good.

I tasted a bit of the sauce and it was EXTREMELY ACIDIC to the point it burned my throat. I had high hopes based on the reviews but this bottle is going in the garbage.

The expiration date is only 2 months, which is not going to work for me. I also purchased 3 more bottles after this one, so I dont know what to do. The other 12 ounce bottles that can be purchased has a lot longer shelve life.

this was awesome! i used it to marinate chicken. It is sweet with a tiny tiny hint of spice. not overpowering for those that do not care for spicy sauces. it was on sale for about half price so that was a bonus.

I tried this for the first time last night, and I was very pleasantly surprised at how good it is. Smells just as good as any Indian restaurant butter chicken sauce, and tastes much better than some I have had.

I highly recommend this product!.

This is the second time I’ve purchased this sauce. It’s the closest thing I’ve found to restaurant quality butter chicken. The whole family including two young picky eaters enjoy it.

it’s ok my dad liked it. it made me remember when I was in school they had a pinkish dip I loved with nuggets and never could find it. i make my own that comes close just half mayo half ketchup and a few dashes of Texas Pete hot sauce.

this is basically that but has other stuff that I feel don’t go good with it takes it over the top.

We use this on everything! From shrimp tacos to chicken fingers. Can’t find it locally, so glad I found it at Cajun Crate!

I must be honest. Although I am a huge fan of the Primal Kitchen brand, I have to admit, I am not crazy about the Primal Kitchen Buffalo Sauce. It’s not that the buffalo sauce was too hot, because that was not the case.

The problem I have with Primal Kitchens new Buffalo sauce is that it puts me in mind of a certain hot sauce,( no names) that I have never liked. Its a stronger than I prefer vinegar wang that is just not for me.

However, my family were up to their eyebrows and elbows in sauce. Those guys gave it a two thumbs up review. 🙂 If you are a fan of vinegar based wing sauces or if you like Tabasco sauce, then you will love Primal Kitchens new Buffalo sauce.

It’s not just for wings anymore!!.

I am and always have been a huge fan of buffalo sauce. So when I was offered the chance to test a vegan buffalo sauce, I jumped at the chance! Although I wish that Primal Kitchen’s products were more readily available in my area, they have been delicious so far.

This buffalo sauce is has a nice, bright kick of spice while remaining light. I believe that the avocado oil and cashew butter keep this buffalo sauce from being too heavy. While it does have a a bit of spice, I do wish this product brought a little more heat.

Used with vegan cauliflower wings, the buffalo sauce did an adequate job, but I felt the need to add both a hotter sauce to the equation and a bit of seasoning to balance it out. All in all, I think Primal Kitchen has made a nice, but not outstanding buffalo sauce.

I think I’ll purchase it again, but that may change if I find a stronger product available.

I was pleased with the Primal Kitchen Buffalo sauce I tried. I found this product more appealing in taste and texture than other Buffalo sauce brands I have tried. I liked that it had a good amount of heat without being overpoweringly spicy and also its creamy texture.

I think the creaminess sets it apart from other buffalo sauces I have tried and comes from the avocado oil and cashew butter it contains. I will probably regularly buy this product in the future because I see it having versatile uses.

Not only would it be a fantastic sauce for wings, but I see using it as a salad dressing, a dipping sauce, incorporating into main dishes such as pasta (I imagine a buffalo chicken fettuccine Alfredo among other dishes), and using it for many other culinary purposes.

The balance of creaminess and just the right amount of cayenne pepper heat won me over and warrants me giving this product 5 stars.

I don’t find this as good as the dipping sauce you get at Swiss Chalet restaurants. When picking up or making a roast chicken I stop at Swiss Chalet and buy one of their large dipping sauces.

Very good just like being at the restaurant. Theres no more swiss chalet restaurants in the states so sad have to travel to canada which were not allowed right now, it’s great that we can get it here in the states.

for those who know anything about b b q sauce this is a must. Its so good it could be consumed on its own as a soup, but on fries or chicken it cant be beat. People visiting Canada must go to Swiss Chalet Rest.

This sauce is AMAZING!!! Not too hot, just enough heat so that you can taste the goodness, without burning your lips off!! I want to be able to taste the food with my heat, and this sauce allows for that! It goes on smoothly, or you can choose to dip your wings.

It has heat, but also a creamy, kind of buttery side, which just adds to it’s deliciousness! Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!.

All the hitters around me in Michigan have gone out of business. Love their wings l. Got a frier and the hooters breading but was having trouble finding sauce. Great deal, shipped very well. With this 3mile sauce tasted just like I bought the wings at hooter.

Good about. I believe out of one jar I covered roughly 30 wings, and I bread mine and sauce them up pretty good. Very Happy. Will buy again.

By far the best of wing sauces! Not only is it good for wings, but years ago while working at a Walmart competitor, we sold a “Wing Kit”, complete with this sauce, breading mix, and another ingredient (I can’t recall what).

On the back of the package, were several recipes, my favorite being H00TERS chili, which a key ingredient is this sauce. The best chili ever! Happy I can still find this sauce at a reasonable price.

Nothing negative about this sauce, except that its a little bit thin. Best served OVER fries, or in a seperate small dish, otherwise the sauce will slowly take over the whole plate!

I NEVER have less than 3 bottles of this in my house, for fear of running out! Move over Frank’s ( which I’ve never been fond of, personally ) because, I “Put this s**t on Everything!!!” I love mixing this sauce with Kraft Three Cheese Ranch to make a spicy creamy sauce.

(Try it, and thank me later) At first taste ( as someone who LOVES spicy) I was a little taken aback; it definitely has some heat. But now I lather it on everything. wings, macaroni and cheese, pizza, cauliflower, rice.

I go through a bottle so quickly now a days. It’s not just pure Heat/burn. The flavor itself is delicious. Warning: When a condiment is “Finger Licking Good” you best be sure to wash extra carefully 😅.

The Capsaicin stays on your hands, even after a normal washing. You do not want to feel that burn! I’ve learned my lesson, more than once. Haha.

My goodness this stupid sauce is taking over my life. It is SO GOOD! Every meal I’m trying to figure out what can I eat so I can have this sauce?!?! I’ve finished a whole bottle in the last 5 days. It has a little heat, nice salty and vinegar flavor.

If I could drink this I would. My favorite was to have it is making some popcorn shrimp and fully drowning them in the sauce or some chicken breast. I’m literally addicted to it. It is my favorite. Only downside is it’s very high is sodium.

So I poured this over some homemade chicken nuggets to serve alongside fried rice for my triplet sons and their college freshmen friends. We all literally agreed that it was so spicy, we were going to turn into fire-breathing dragons! In fact, it was so hot, I ended up throwing away 6 lbs.

of chicken as none of us could eat it! 🙁 I’m not a ‘hot’ wimp – I love jalapenos, etc. but this was excessive. Perhaps it gets hotter in taste when you heat it up. I took off one star for it being excessively hot (“zing” is not the right description) but left it at 4 stars because others may like that heat and taste.
