20 Best Dipping Sauce For Shrimp (2023 Updated)

The best cocktail sauce! I tend to eat a lot of shrimp because it’s fairly inexpensive, quick to prepare, and gives you healthy omega 3 oil. I always have this on hand! There is no substitute – other brands of cocktail sauce taste like pure corn syrup / ketchup.

This has a lot of flavor, with a horseradish bite to it that’s delicious. It would make a great sauce on oysters too. This sauce isn’t expensive and can last for a few pounds of shrimp.

Just like every other old bay seasoning, this is delicious. A nice zing to it. I cant imagine not having this sauce to use as a cocktail garnish sauce. Thank god this sauce was created.

We are big fans of seafood from prawns to octopus. We love Old Bay sauce for its consistent quality of flavor it adds to any dish without being too over powering. Some cocktail sauces can be a bit too spicy for me but Old Bay is just enough without taking over the flavor of the dish.

And I attempted to purchase de Buyer Mineral B Bois Round Fry pan and attempted to withdraw the order quite unsuccessfully and have requested at least twice to convey a return label and that has been unsuccessful and the Kuhn Rikon Julienne was not what I ordered so this place Chris in the cross hairs of quality control, responsibility, and outright honor.

I love shrimp and buy it at least once a week. This is my go to cocktail sauce. It’s a little bit spicy but definitely not overpoweringly spicy. I love it!

It is the only sauce I ever use with seafood. Tasty and always perfect. Just the right amount of seasoning so it enhances fresh fish, shrimp, frozen fish, and crab cakes!

Salmon! I could eat it at every meal. I didn’t care for the taste of any of the other dipping sauces or seasonings for Salmon till I came across “Johnny’s Salmon finishing sauce” it is the absolute best sauce! The only downfall is once I found it at my local grocery store they stopped carrying it.

I searched everywhere and could not find it any where. finally I found it again in Cincinnati only after a few months they stopped carrying it too. Talk about being disappointed I was heartbroken. My husband known how much I love Johnny’s he searched again and found it on Walmart’s website, I pray they actually have it on their shelf, if so I’m buying a case to heck with getting one bottle.

You gotta try this sauce u won’t regret it.

I couldn’t find locally anymore so purchased this 6 pack. This stuff is the best on any fish. Can use in place of tartar sauce too! Share a bottle with a friend or friends if you can’t use all. Stored in fridge unopened will add a year to the best by date.

Put on top of fish with panko bread crumbs before grilling or baking. yumm!.

I bought this sauce online because I found it at a locale store. The store quit carrying It. After checking five different locale stores And none of then carrying the sauce I gave up. I found it at walmarts website, man was I happy.

Not only was it less money. I order it and a few days later went to pick it up. No waiting in line just in and out.

This is THE BEST eye makeup remover I have ever used. No odor, no residue, no sting. It removes all types of eye makeup, including waterproof mascara and eyelash glue. It’s a little expensive, but you only new a little for each use, so one bottle lasts a long time.

To me, this helps prevent eye wrinkles. Using this means I don’t have to pull and wipe and tug my eye skin to get off the makeup. Less pulling and less work means less wrinkling. That’s a huge plus for me.

I don’t often use eye makeup remover, however I quite like my Clinique face wash (I have oily sensitive skin and it doesn’t irritate it like other brands have) and when I do use mascara, it’s the waterproof kind so I’ve come to realize that I really do need an eye makeup remover if I’m going to effectively remove the mascara without taking all my eyelashes along with it.

I use it on a cotton pad and it was very gentle but effective at removing my waterproof eyeliner and mascara (I have never had any difficulty removing eyeshadows, even with my mandatory use of a primer).

I discovered Clinique rinse off eye makeup remover when I went to purchase my usual Lancome eye-makeup remover from Sephora, but they were out. The sales associate recommended this and I’m really impressed! It’s unscented and it works quickly so I don’t have to rub.

The best part? Cheap! Totally great product. I docked one star because it’s slightly greasy, which is a no-no for me in make-up removers. But not too bad. Overall, really good.

It may be a dipping sauce for tempura, but it gives a wonderful flavor to stirfry dishes. My sister does not like egg rolls, but I made the filling with this as a flavoring and she is addicted to the egg rolls now.

I was surprised I could not find this in the local supermarkets when mine was empty. They all had Soy Sauce but not this! It is what you use for Pot Stickers! Very good and I am sorry Walmart did not have it on the shelf either ~ I had to order it in online.

I was so unhappy with this sauce. I Love getting this sauce at the Japanese restaurants. This taste nothing like it. This brand is very salty.

When you think of shrimp scampi, you think of white wine, parsely and lots of butter and garlic. This wasn’t it. I added this in and then tasted it. Was disappointed. Proceeded to add about 1/4c of garlic and garlic powder, parlsey and a half stick of butter.

Finally tested more like shrimp scampi. First and last time buying.

Clever packaging. I thought it came in a box, but it’s a plastic product bag that stands upright by the gusset at the bottom. I haven’t tried this yet, but if it is good as the photo on the front displays.

This Campbell’s Skillet Sauce Shrimp Scampi is the best tasting, and it’s low carbs and low sugar. They don’t sell it in my local Walmart store though so I need to always order online for this item. I had zero carbs noodles to it along with shrimp, perfect lunch or dinner item.

I absolutely love this scampi sauce. Of course I use it with shrimp but it’s also great on salmon and other seafood! It’s always out of stock but when I find it I try to get all.

We LOVE this horseradish sauce! Not too hot, but just right, and nice and creamy. Great on a roast beef sandwich. Only one question – that I already asked Walmart about – why is it listed as NUCITA TRISABOR Horseradish Sauce when it is actually WOEBER’S Horseradish Sauce? Checking google It looks like “Nucita Trisabor” is a type of candy/sweet spread? Someone at Walmart really made a mistake when listing this item LOL.

I added this to Thousand Island salad dressing to make an onion ring dip. I highly recommend doing that, as it tastes like a very well-known restaurant’s fried onion treat that way. This horseradish sauce is so good! A little goes a long way though, as it is spicy.

This is ok, it’s weak. It is definitely the sauce it says it is, flows freely. I expected to use it on hotdogs but it requires too much in order to taste it and it simply flows off. I’ll need to buy something thicker.

This is truest one of the best authentic fish sauces you can find. It is sweet and briney and savory at the same time. A little goes a long way and it adds so much flavor to Asian dishes. I believe this one is from Vietnam but Fish sauce is produced in many Asian countries.

This is the best brand to go for, when choosing any fish sauce. If you are new to using fish sauce, I highly recommend the Three Crabs Brand. This is one of the most expensive fish sauce on any store shelf, but it is of the highest quality.

The smell is not as pungent as other branded fish sauce, it is not overly salty, and it tastes the best. You will always find the Three Crabs Brand in my house.

This is the best cocktail I have ever eaten! It has the perfect blend of ingredients that taste great with any seafood. They also have a spicy one that has a good kick to it, but I prefer this one. It’s great with shrimp, clam strips, crab, you name it.

I love a good, spicy cocktail sauce. This is almost there. Something is off though. I just can’t figure out what. Perhaps the sweet that they sneak in cocktail sauce? I know there are plenty of very good, non-caloric sweeteners out there.

Perhaps not enough horse radish? I added a little of both and got a little better flavor and closer to what I was craving. I used stevia, but next time I’ll try Swerve to see if its any better. Adding shrimp to the shopping list.

I used this on my shrimp, there is a spice ginger that seems off for me. I added some horseradish and it helped to give it more of a cocktail taste. Its not that I can’t eat it but to me its not the best without adding extra ingredients.

Not everyone has a taste for ginger.

The sauce is fundimentally good. While there is a very tart lemon flavor, that can easily be corrected by adding a little sugar to offset the tartness, what can’t be corrected is that no matter what you do, it is a very bitter taste to it.

There is a big difference between tart and bitter, and this sauce ruins the taste of anything you may serve it with. Absolutely horrible. For those that will still like to try it, I would suggest only buying only one bottle.

You can then judge for yourself if you’d like to use it again. For me, one bottle was more than enough to tell me that I will never buy it again.

This is NOTHING like tarter sauce…. it is way too sweet, even to put on cooking fish or seafood. Ruined the taste of the salmon!! No butter taste, just weird, sweet lemon. Back to regular tarter sauce, adding my own lemon and dill.

I think this seafood sauce is terrible. Ruins the taste of nice fish or seafood. I cannot eat it. Unusual for a McCormick product tp taste so terrible. The color of the sauce varies greatly between different bottles.

Suspicious quality control. Unfortunately, I bought a lot of it since I really like another brand of lemon dill sauce that I could not find online. Throwing it away.
