Best Digital Air Pressure Gauge (2024 Updated)

It took too much time and button presses to reset after getting pressure reading and rereading after airing tire up to specs. Mechanical ones are much simpler to use.

I bought this to replace one I had literally worn out over the course of 5yrs. Easy to use, super compact to keep in a glove box, and just overall perfect.

I have one in every vehicle,keeping your tires properly inflated extends the life of your tires. Most newer vehicles have indicator lights to let you know you have a low tire. This gauge is easy to use and read,tires are expensive so keeping the pressure correct and regular rotation saves money,for the price of this gauge it’s a money saver for your tires.

Well made dual gauge which does exactly what I wanted. I use it to monitor the air pressure on my motorhome air assist rear suspension. My only comment would be there is a significant difference in the indicated air pressure between my the larger gauge on my pump and the Vair gauge.

I have no idea which is more accurate but for my purpose it is not critical. The import tax and delivery costs make the gauge expensive with little difference in the cost if one buys it direct from the USA or from an UK supplier.

None the less it was cheaper than buying a ready made up panel and with dual gauges. I had some difficulty getting a air tight assembly probably because I was using a BSP threaded female fitting and the gauge is NPT male, very, very, nearly the same but not quite.

To stop leaks I tested at 80PSI with soapy water before final assembly and used PTFE tape and Locktite – it worked.

I love this gauge. It is very long so mounting requires a ton of depth. The mounting bracket requires the air connections to thread onto. This makes it hard to use Teflon tape. I used Teflon tape and a liquid thread sealer to make sure it sealer after threading on the mounting nuts.

I also used the cheap enclosed gauge pod (from china) I had to drill big holes in the back of it for the air lines to feed through. But it works.

Viair air suspension gage does what it was designed to. It accurately monitors Air pressure.

I particularly like that, along with being accurate to +/-0. 5psi, the readout is in 0. 1psi increments. Some digital gauges are in 0. 5psi increments – too rough an estimate. The display’s backlight & battery power readout, and the air bleeder button valve, are all must-have’s.

I also like that it takes AAA batteries instead of CR2032’s, and that the batteries are easy to change. Not so with other digital gauges. I would prefer to have a straight chuck instead of an angled one to make getting a tight seal on the valve easier.

Slime states their chuck prevents any pressure loss when taking readings. I lose air with the Jaco gauge. Maybe an air-tight chuck is the next improvement Jaco can make so this gauge will be all-but perfect.

We are travelling around the country in a travel trailer. It is very important to keep an eye on the tire pressure. We have two axles and 4 tires, plus 4 tires on the truck. Bought this particular gauge(100psi) because our trailer tires need to be 80 psi.

I immediately tried this on both my truck and my wife’s car. It is easy to use, easy to read and consistent. My wife’s tires were 5 pounds low which is crazy. I headed out to the Wawa right away to ad air.

The gauge on the compressor confirmed that this gauge was right on. Jack had this thing at my house in 2 days which is impressive around a holiday.

I watched the 10 min. video on your web page sponsored by Moroso, and took a few notes on set up. That made set up fast. Now I put a few extra lbs. of air in, and use the bleed valve to get the exact air pressure I want.

It seems to be built well; heavy duty. No problems with it. Very glad I made the purchase.

Just so you know, this Moroso tire pressure gauge measures to one decimal place (one tenth of one psi). The accuracy is perfect for street cars and trucks. However, if I was tuning for the track, I’d source a gauge that had a resolution of two decimal points.

The biggest issue I have is the rubber hose; the gauge is rated to 60, but the heavy rubber hose is rated to 300 psi. As a result, it’s just not flexible enough. You always seem to be fighting it. Also, the air-chuck (while appearing to be well built) tends to leak a little if you’re not perfectly aligned the with valve stem; it can be a little fussy getting a positive connection.

And finally, the instructions that Moroso includes are very confusing. Although I find most Moroso products lacking in terms of user friendly instructions. On the positive side, the backlit LCD display is awesome in dark garages.

I think if I swapped the hose and chuck off my old gauge onto the new Moroso unit, I’d be very happy with it’s operation.

We have this gauge for the tires on our top dragster, pressure jumps all over the place. zero consistency. Try it ten times and never get the same reading. Anyone concerned with consistency and winning do not buy.

I was pretty disappointed in the overall quality and design of this inflator, especially for the price. I wanted to install my own inflator chuck, but the hose uses a 1/8 fitting with a rounded tip and gasket, so even a standard 1/8 to 1/4 reducer bushing would not work.

I decided to test it anyways. Upon connecting it to an inflated tire it immediately started deflating because the deflation valve was stuck down. It stopped when I jiggled it, but the same issue repeated itself multiple times with further testing.

The digital gauge has a very narrow viewing angle, so it’s quite dim unless viewed straight on. The backlight further washes out the display, only stays on for a few seconds, and must be manually activated every time using a button.

These flaws may be tolerable for occasional use in a home shop, but as a professional auto technician they would be very frustrating to deal with all day and cost me time and money. I returned this inflator and purchased one from Astro Pneumatic Tools which I am much happier with.

I’m confident this could be an ok inflator, if all the necessary parts were included and it was as advertised. Mine was missing the o-ring / seal between the hose and the inflator. so it leaks faster than my compressor can keep up.

Also the chuck has ZERO retention on a valve stem. I could not get this to “hook” on a solid metal valve stem (dually) with either end of the fitting. I know it’s possible as I’ve used similar locking chucks before on rubber valve stems (car) and feared ripping them out.

Home Essentials Direct denied two attempts to simply contact this seller regarding the missing part(s). Its almost impossible to contact sellers with anything other than a return! Unacceptable but not the sellers fault.

This item is nicely built and feels sturdy in my hands. The gauge is digital down to the 10th of a PSI, and it rotates on the handle. All I needed to do was to add an air hose fitting to the inflator and I was ready to go.

To ensure leak free air, I used PTFE tape on the connector fitting and the US made rubber hose. I then proceeded to check my tire pressures on my TPMS equipped car. I adjusted the pressures to what the label on the door frame said and then checked with the TPMS, and I was happy to see that everything matched.

Please do yourself a favor plus save time and just spend the extra money once in a quality US made product. China makes garbage and they will continue to do so, robbing you of your patience, time and money spent multiple times buying replacements to cheaply made junk that constantly breaks or just doesn’t work properly.

I have always got great performance from topeak products till today. If you turn the thumb lock lever in the wrong direction, it will damage the red plastic Presta / Schrader valve adapter. I was ok with my mistake until I found out there is no rebuilding kit or way to purchase the adapter separately.

I think if topeak had tested the unit they would have redesigned it. I was never able to use the gauge so I can not rate its performance. Do not waste your time and money with this unit.

I needed a gauge which would check pressures on Schrader, Presta and Woods valves. This gauge is brilliant and so accurate as well as enabling you to bleed air via the small button on the reverse side; the display shows the decreasing pressure in realtime.

It comes with a Schrader / Presta adapter (under the rubber cap) so I’m always able to use a commercial pump for my Presta valves. I’m really pleased to note the quality of construction (including metal!) and would buy another if I suddenly found myself without this one.

In short this gauge is a great bit of kit! The whole assembly is bomb proof and will be an asset in your tool box or in your Hydration Pack if you choose to carry it. Very sturdy with a large display makes it easy to view from any angle.

It locks on well to a Presta (or Schrader) Valve and having the added function of a pump attachment, you can see exactly what pressure is going into your tyre. The bleed down button allows you to dial in your chosen ride pressure for any environment.

This gauge is easy to use and easy to read. The rotating tire chuck is helpful in getting a good seal on tire valve stem for accurate readings. The compact size makes it a one hand operation. The 0 to 100 psi gauge should cover most tire pressure readings for equipment you have around the house.

Horrible flawed design. The “holld” pressure display can be turned off. And it won’t re-measure pressure when you bleed air out until about every 1 PSI or more. It stays frozen on the hold as you bleed pressure and will then after multiple presses on the bleed it will suddenly take a new reading once your 1 psi lower.

I race formula cars, tire pressure are important. What the use of “1% accuracy” if you can’t take pressures readings except at 10% changes. Do not recommend. The “hold” feature either needs to Redisplay every 1% of change or it needs to be user disabled.

I received my tire pressure gauge, and immediately it won’t turn on. Weird a new gauge would ship with a dead battery, but no problem, open it and replace the battery. This time the display flashes when I drop the new battery in, then again it won’t turn on.

I have multiple Longacre products, and everything I’ve owned has been wonderful, this is the first time I’ve encountered a dud. Problem is, Summit is impossible to get a hold of right now. I can’t email them, facebook messenger chat is useless, and calling just puts me on hold forever.

I love it! So much more accurate than the pencil gauges. Well made, love the “zeroing capabilities”. Hopefully it’ll last a long time. Wasn’t cheap but good tools never are, in my experience. Delivery was very timely and packaged well.

No complaints. Readings are very consistent. Seals well against the valve stem. Easy to read.

I am a truck driver and deliver Construction equipment. Tires and fuel are my biggest cost. I rely on good equipment to maintain my truck and trailer and have a good dependable air gauge is paramount to my success.

I have purchased air gages from local supplier and purchased pressure gage from truck stop. The gages from truck stop only last about 6 months before they loose their accuracy. Found Jaco brand with a life time warranty irresistible.

1st purchased in 2018 2 years later Wouldn’t zero out, called and within a couple of days new pressure gage(no charge ) just 2 weeks ago it failed again. Emailed my order number and within a week a replacement arrived.

I really like the design and ease of use of this gauge. I bought it for my semi truck and find it to be very accurate. I prefer this design over the “stick” ones. I find myself checking my pressure more often now.
