Best Detox Shampoo Remove Meth (2024 Updated)

I purchased the product to cut the buildup in my hair. I’ve tried other clarifying shampoos that work pretty good but this product goes above and beyond. My hair is bouncy again and surprisingly my color is MORE vibrant after using it.

I use Redken “blondage” shampoo a couple times per week to keep my blonde hair from getting brassy and it works fantastic! I think bouncing between shampoos really “mucks up” my hair. This product has completely restored my hair back to post coloring :).

okay guys buckle in, this is gonna be a long one. firstly, i’ve been dyeing my hair shades of red/orange for the last year and a half and so i’m always on the lookout for a shampoo that won’t fade or strip my colour, especially because red tones are soooo difficult to maintain.

this shampoo is GREAT for coloured hair, if anything, it actually made my highlights more vibrant, which is rare for a product with no ‘refreshing’ dye in it. secondly, i’ve noticed a build-up on my scalp recently, like i just could not get my hair fully clean.

guys, when i tell you the relief i felt after the first use, omg!!! SO CLEAN! i also noticed less grease in the days after wash-day. usually, by day 4 my hair is visibly greasy, which kinda sours my mood unless i do a grease-hiding style.

i’m on day 3 now and my scalp feels as clean as it did on day 1 with other shampoos! my hair also has an incredibly shine. as my review headline says, this shampoo is amazing for the girlies who only wash once a week.

i’ve seen reviewers complain that this shampoo is drying or frizz-inducing which is def a possiblity if you’re using it more than twice a week or without a proper conditioner. for reference, i wash once a week, sometimes going as long as 9 days and i usually use a conditioning mask.

my ONLY critic of this product is that my hair was def more static-y than before, which is something i’m willing to sacrifice for a clean scalp. other than that, it is PERFECT. cannot reccomend enough!.

Super bummed that this didn’t work out as well for me as I though it would. For reference my hair texture is medium and straight (that good good thick asian girl hair) and I typically go 4-5 days between washes (trained my scalp decently enough to control oil because she gets *oily* ok).

Not sure if I just used this wrong the first time (too much?? shouldn’t have shampooed twice since I normally do that w my normal shampoo?? even tho I used less than a quarter sized amount??) but after the first use it completely stripped my scalp and make it super flaky and itchy (truly shocking given that my scalp is on the oilier side) and by the second day, my scalp was super greasy and dirty (not even dry shampoo could fix her).

So bummed! Esp. since I don’t really need to wash my hair/get greasy until day 4 or 5. Ever since then I haven’t used it (went back to my main shampoo) but it seems like the effects still last aka my scalp/hair still gets greasy way earlier than it used to even though I’ve discontinued use, and I feel like i have to re-train my scalp to get to day 5 again.

I’ll give it another shot and use way less and only shampoo once, then maybe balance it out w my usual shampoo but for the time being this really wasn’t for me. Overall some good pros were that it smells amazing and after using it (despite my scalp being ruined), I noticed all my other products penetrated my hair way better/worked better since I live in Chicago and the hard water, dry shampoo, and product build up is real.

I’ll admit, I was skeptical. I had their fine hair shampoo/conditioner and was thrilled how well they work. I use probably 2-4 products a day because I have a wolf cut. I dry shampoo on the 2nd day and 3rd, and ideally shower the 3rd night or 4th day.

I’ve been getting by just fine double shampooing, but I felt I needed something a liiiittle heavier duty. I always see people rave about this and for 30$, I was certainly giving it the side eye. Not anymore! I am a believer in this fry shampoo.

I have previously religiously bleached hair, so my mid-shaft and ends can be very sensitive to harsher cleansers. I haven’t had any issues with this product at all so far. I have an incredibly oily scalp that even with my own oils and serums, still loves to produce its own factory of oil.

If you have dryer hair but still want to detox, try pre-oiling your hair and scalp a bit before a shower, I think that could help A TON! I love how this removes all of the oils and gunk without making your hair feel like legit STRAW like some detox shampoos can.

Reviewers complaining that it left them MORE oily forget that *THIS IS NOT FOR DAILY USE*. It literally says that. If you’re using a detox shampoo for daily use, why? Your poor hair. Anyway, I love this.

I lather before I put on and really scrub with my nails and follow up with a shampoo massager to get all the grime and oil from my scalp. I leave it on for about a minute, then I rinse. Voila, perfectly soft and fluffy hair! Following with Ouai’s fine hair conditioner and my hair is bouncy and soft.

Fine hair girls know the struggle of getting any sort of bouncy volume AND softness… and this really does help. I use this right now every Sunday. I love it for getting product out of my hair on days I may have used 5 products instead of my normal 4 and I HAVE to use it after 3 days.

It’s not gonna kill you to use it that often, but try to limit it to once a week. Twice if you use a lot of hair products. 10/10.

I had to share my review of this shampoo and conditioner after years of searching for a great product. A little background info, I have highlighted my hair (which I’d describe as straight, fine and definitely on the oily side around my forehead) for decades – I am 44 now and dry, brittle hair became a regular thing for me once I reached my 40’s.

Every time one shampoo/conditioner ran out, I tried another because nothing was worth a repurchase and the breakage continued. I’ve also tried many treatments and masks, from high-end to low, but just never found “the one”.

The Recovery set wasn’t something I found, it was something my stylist used on me on my last two highlight sessions. I honestly bought it for the smell most of all, because it would last a couple of days, and figured it was worth a shot for the other benefits.

I have been using the Recovery shampoo and conditioner for two weeks now and truly am amazed at the difference in my hair. I’m not expecting miracles after what I have put my hair through but this is the first time.

ever. I can recall feeling my hair and thinking “wow, that is REALLY soft”. It just feels so much healthier (and yes, the smell is wonderful and citrusy!) I will absolutely be purchasing this again and incorporate it into my regular hair routine!.

Since receiving the conditioner to try out I have used it for several wash days, and I think it is a reasonable product. I wouldn’t shout about it from the rooftops, but I also wouldn’t bin it! The consistency is nice, not overly thick, and it is pleasantly scented – the scent also sticks around for a fair amount of time in your hair.

I found I had to use quite a bit of product to coat and get a brush through my hair, I have curly hair which tangles easily, and I can only brush it in the shower or I am a walking frizz ball. The conditioner feels nice whilst it is in your hair, and your hair does feel pretty soft once it is rinsed and dried.

I didn’t notice that the conditioner weighed down my hair, however a major downside to this product is that it contains silicones which I normally try to avoid. It is for that reason I wouldn’t repurchase this.

Furthermore, whilst it may be coincidence, I did find that after using the shampoo and conditioner combo my hair seemed to tangle very quickly – more so than usual. As with the shampoo I will finish the bottle, however it will not be a product I use consistently as to avoid a silicone buildup.

I’ve never actually used “bed head tigi” hair products before but I hands down will be using it from now on. Lately because of my depression, my hair had been a little, well, forgotten about. As a result, it’s not in its best condition.

UNTILL NOW. After the very first wash with the conditioner, I got amazing results. A little amount goes a long way and gives full coverage. Once on my hair, I like to brush the conditioner through to make sure it gets right to the root.

With a lot of conditioners, the act of massaging it into my hair causes awful knots. Since using TiGi, this hasn’t happened once, It also smells BEAUTIFUL! The feel of my hair after it’s been blow dried is literally amazing.

I’ve even got little fly aways again at the front if my head when I put my hair up. An added bonus, it’s actually affordable. I literally can not recommend this product enough.

First the smell of this shampoo is nice. I cannot place it, but it’s not floral which is nice and it’s musky which I love. It also works very well as a clarifying shampoo. I decided to use my sample today because I have recently been hitting the dry shampoo hard and I live in Florida and also have hot flashes, (so basically I sweat a lot) so I figured a good detox could help my hair out tremendously.

I was right! I just finished blowing my hair dry and it’s so shiney and bouncy and clean feeling!! Some of the shine and bounce is probably the conditioner I used ( dpHUE Gloss+ Semi-permanent Hair Color and Deep Conditioner in dark blonde) but I’ve used this conditioner before and didn’t get these results.

I think the combo of this clarifying shampoo and that color depositing deep conditioner is a win! I will definitely consider purchasing a bottle of this because even though it’s a little pricey (I love the tea tree line from PM so not too much more than my normal sc) it’s not a shampoo I would use everyday either so it will last.

I say I wouldn’t use this everyday because while rinsing it out in the shower my hair felt very (very very) squeeky, almost as if it would be too squeeky clean aka dry af, and I noticed that I couldn’t even get my fingers through my hair until I put some conditioner in which is abnormal for me, especially since my hair isn’t even long enough for a ponytail yet (so close!).

So while I love the deep clean I got I don’t think my hair could handle this everyday or even every other day, I would probably use this once a week or less.

I LOVE THIS CLARIFYING SHAMPOO. I never used clarifying shampoo much in the past, because it would dry my hair out cause breakage no matter what I did. I also have a Brazilian Blowout sulfates in shampoos will ruin it, so I had a hard time finding a clarifying shampoo that would work for me.

I thought it was too good to be true, but purchased this anyways to try it out. Let me tell you, I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID. I use this once, sometimes twice a week. Most hair products have silicones in them if you don’t clarify your hair it causes build-up greasy roots/weighs it down.

My favorite day to style my hair is directly after washing with this shampoo. I use a moisture conditioner right after because the best time for your hair to soak in a product is when there’s no barriers after clarifying.

You can feel how clean your hair is directly after rinsing this out, but it doesn’t cause extreme dryness and frizz. It also is one of the only clarifying shampoos that successfully removes the oil build up towards my roots.

I would definitely purchase this if you’re looking for a good clarifying shampoo that gets rid of the bad things in your hair without stripping it of the good things that it needs. It’s a perfect balance I swear by it!.

It has the most beautiful, sweet rose scent, that’s very light and lasts all day long! The gel texture is, similar too honey “thick/sticky” becomes a nice creamy lather once water is added. It massaged through my hair nicely and rinsed out easily *I left it on for a total of 5 mins* My scalp felt/looked clean and refreshed.

My hair felt soft, looked fuller and was frizz free. A clarifying shampoo that deeply cleanses; dirt, oil, product buildup (dry shampoo/styling products) and hard water deposits. Leaves hair feeling refreshed super clean! Perfect for: oily, shiny, flaky/dry scalp.

Maybe I’m weird? I don’t know. I have to use so much of this product to get it to cover my entire head. There is no spread, so to speak. I always wash my hair twice, because I use a lot of product in my hair during the day.

The first wash, with my former shampoo always yielded some amount of suds. With this Living Proof Triple Detox shampoo, nothing. It’s like just rubbing black conditioner all over my head. With the second wash I get a little bit of suds, but really not enough to tell me if the product is actually moving around my head.

I feel like I need to use A LOT of product to feel like my hair is actually getting washed. I know soap suds are not a sign of cleanliness, but when washing your body (specifically hair) you need to know if the product is being moved around the head where you’re putting it so a soaping effect is important.

When I rinse the product out of my hair, my hair DOES feel clean but my hair almost feels f ake? I don’t know how else to describe it. It feels strange. The other issue I’m having, is that throughout the day after my wash and into the next day my scalp is soooo itchy.

I’ve never experienced scalp itchiness this bad so close to a wash day. Usually my scalp only gets itchy when I go too long between washes. My scalp feels dry all over and all day I’m having to itch.

I feel like people are going to start thinking I have lice (I definitely do not).

I rarely write reviews but this horrible product warranted one. In one quick wash this product stripped away months of getting my hair in good condition. I have never, ever had a detox shampoo do so much damage to my hair.

Immediately upon putting this in my hair and lathering my hair went from smooth and soft feeling to STRAW. I couldn’t even touch my hair after that because I was so horrified. I don’t know if my hair will be the same until it’s grown out.

This shampoo is nothing short of amazing! I saw a noticeable change and difference in my hair after about 2 washes. I have pretty hard water even though we have a water softener and my hair was drier and looking more unhealthy than I would like.

I decided to purchase the Living Proof Triple Detox Shampoo after I did the hair quiz online. I must say that I’m pleasantly surprised by the results. My hair is noticeably better and starting to look healthy, shiny and good again.

I bought this shampoo when Ulta was having one of their huge liter bottle sales. Not long before purchasing, I discovered that I was allergichighly sensitive to Sulfates in shampoo and body wash. At about age 1718 I started having scalp irritation, burning, and itching.

I had itched my scalp till it became scabby and bloody. I dreaded washing my hair because it would burn the wounds but letting my hair get greasy made it itch more At first I thought I was sensitive to the amount of fragrance in shampoos so I started researching and experimenting.

Nothing ever changed, so with more research I found info about Sulfate and all its harmful effects. I decided to try the Organix shampoo in the blue bottle since it was still friendly to my parttime working, fulltime student wallet.

Thankfully it didnt burn and my scalp started healing and I also learned what the problem was all along. Not the end of the story though. While it did seem to clean fairly well, the amount of grease I had on my secondday hair was more than desired I just dealt with it in lieu of having a burning scalp or having to wash my hair everyday.

Ultimately I decided on this shampoo and Im in love If youre like me and you already know what to expect from sulfatefree shampoos low lather, no squeakyclean feeling then this truly works greatIt has a strong, but not artificial or overwhelming, peppermint scent.

My fianc says its weird that it smells like peppermint and our 6 year old niece thinks its amazing I find that to make it lather more, use plenty of water. For the past 2 weeks I’ve been on an OGX shampoo conditioner spree. So many new ones out with excellent reviews online that I just had to try. First up was the ‘Purifying + Charcoal Detox’ Shampoo. This one caught my attention as I’m a big fan of Briogeo’s Charcoal shampoo but it is pricey and would be great if I could find a cheaper alternative.

So first impressions. I’m impressed! The scent in here is slightly on the masculine side but don’t let that put you off. For a Sulfate-free shampoo this cleanses really well and lathers decently too.

It could be the combination of charcoal and Kaolin (clay) but there’s much less build-up than normal and my scalp actually feels much calmer and isn’t flaking nor itchy which is fantastic. Have tried out some of the other OGX shampoos which I’ll review seperately, but none compared to this for overall results on hair and scalp.

For some reason my hair has been a lot greasier and more lank since lockdown began in March, and no matter what shampoo I’ve used to counteract this my hair would go back to its sorry state after one day.

I have quite curly hair and so I use a serum after washing it, and if I don’t use the right shampoo I can be susceptible to product build-up. So I wanted to find a shampoo that would clarify my hair without stripping away its natural oils, as that would make it dry and frizzy.

I’ve used many of OGX’s shampoos and conditioners over the years, and I’m a huge fan of most of them. Their formulas are thick and feel luxurious for a high-street brand, and their fragrances are absolutely delightful.

However, my absolute all-time favourite is their Charcoal Detox shampoo. This shampoo claims to get rid of build-up and to thoroughly cleanse your hair so that it’s a clean slate to work from every wash.

Charcoal is often used in skincare to achieve the same aim – it helps purify and ‘detox’ the skin by drawing out impurities and congestion for spot-prone skin. So I was curious to see this ingredient being used in haircare for oiliness too.

The formula comes out like a sheer grey, and it has a lovely, thick consistency that forms into a rich lather once applied. I was a little afraid that a thick formula would result in weighing my hair down, but that hasn’t been the case at all.

Instead, my hair is squeaky clean and the curliest it’s been in a very long time, especially as I haven’t been able to have a haircut in many months. It genuinely feels like my hair has been restored to its best after every wash, and my hair no longer feels flat and lacklustre because of it.

This shampoo is often on sale somewhere or other which means it’s priced around the £4. 50 mark (its normal price is £7. 00). It’s now my one and only 💕.

I was unsure about using this product, but I bathe dogs for a living and the high humidity in the air at my work space has my scalp suuuuper oily and I often use dry shampoo. I always feel like Im not 100% getting all of the residue from everything off of my head, and I know that the high humidity is a huge part of the problem.

I’ll be honest, things got bad. I have dandruff, but not the dry, flakey kind. Mine is dense, itchy, and really oily. Ive searched and searched for something to help me, and within the first use, this product did exactly what I needed it to! I can run my fingers through my hair and not feel any oils, build up, or residue.

It DOES dry your hair. Its labeled to be a hair detox, not an every day use sort of product so I recommend using it maybe once or twice a week, depending on your individual needs of course. Its a little harsh with the drying aspect of your hair, leaving it a little bit tangled, but its definitely still manageable and if you need something to rescue your hair like I did, this is the product for you! My hair is so shiny and clean.

I am blown away by the results of this product after its first use. The only thing that I could see bothering some people, is the scent. This shampoo has a very strong scent that lingers even a few hours after your hair is washed and dried.

Personally, I like the scent. But if you’re sensitive to smells, maybe look for an alternative.

I wasnt expecting much from this because for me, ions products are a hit or miss. i used to love their color protection conditioner but they tweaked the formula and its awful now. Decided to get this for the 4 for 20$ deal.

Honestly i am so glad i chose this one! Smells devine. So so good. The formula texture itself is weird. Like a runny lotion. I wouldnt spray directly on hair or it will be on spots you dont want it to.

I use 3 spritz on my palms and rub it in on each side focusing on ends. Then whatever is left on palms lightly put on top of head and bangs. So 6 spritz for the entire head. Im going to get another one of these, mostly for the smell haha but i truly think it does something good for my hair as well.

I wake up with prettier looking hair qnd not a rats nest. Its actually shiny and bouncy all day long. Just wish the bottle was bigger than 4oz. Will use up run out fast!.

Okay so. I did not have the best experience with this product. This shampoo and conditioner BOTH are we’re VERY drying to my hair. It was too harsh and made my hair brittle, it was literally shedding left and right sooo bad that I just ended up re-washing my hair with different products.

This may be great for someone else, but for myself- being cheap wasn’t my best choice this time.

It smells great but just made my hair feel extra greasy to the point where I had to add dry shampoo to help it not be to oily. I would look at trying another product. The scent is amazing I just wish the product was too.

I have been struggling with dandruff over the past 2 years. It comes and goes. I’m not sure why or what waa causing it. All I know it that it would make my head very itchy. Especially when I used product.

Even if I didn’t use Amy product, my scalp would become irritated and itchy. I decided to give this shampoo and conditioner a try. And boy am I sure glad I did. It works just fine by itself. And it smells AMAZING.

But I like to use that one first then the lather keratin shampoo on my 2nd wash. I then use the charcoal detox conditioner on my scalp to mid shaft and the keratin creme Brule conditioner on my mid shaft to ends.

My hair comes out smelling amazing, Looking amazing and I can add as little or as much styling products to it as I want. I can do whatever I want to it afterwards. Once or twice a week I also like to use the sea salt purifying scrub before shampooing.

Scalp balance, cleansing, hydration, softness, shine, volume and hair regrowth. Those are just some of the benefits that I have gained by using this shampoo (I left out color preservation since my hair ilsn’t dyed and therefore I have no need for that lparticular value.

) I started losing my hair around the age of 32, I chalked it up to health problems, medication and/or stress. I thought that I tried just about everything. I’ve been using activated charcoal for years on my face but I never thought to use it on my scalp, that is until an acquaintance recommended the L’ange website to me after I told her how beautiful her hair was all of the time.

I think she was sick of the compliments and wanted me off her back. l been using this product with the scalp Saveur, which works to break up product buildup and stimulate circulation, creating the perfect environment for the ingredients in the shampoo to work! I’ve been using these products for about 6 months now and my hair is finally starting to grow back with softnes, shine and volume that I had as a ten year old!.

I typically wash my hair once a week as I don’t use product in my hair and I have no need to. I started using the charcoal shampoo and conditioner and I left the shower feeling like my hair was extremely brittle.

The next morning I used a hair masque hoping to balance the dryness, it helped but not much. I washed my hair two days later and I was from dry and brittle to disgustingly greasy. I ended up rewashing my hair later that night with a different shampoo.

It’s now 5 days after the initial wash and my scalp is itchy, my hair is disgustingly greasy and I can’t rebalance my hair. I purchased other products but after testing these two, I have a feeling the rest will be going in the trash as well.

I get regular Brazilian Blowouts and typically use their products to prolong the life of my treatment. But usually about 6 weeks after treatment my hair starts to feel really heavy and coated, and my scalp starts getting itchy.

This time it was especially bad. It felt like my hair just couldn’t get clean, but I was afraid to wash out the treatment by using any clarifying shampoos. When I came across this one and noticed it had no SLS (the ingredient that’s a big no-no with BB or any other keratin treatment), I decided to try it even though I was worried that because it was “clarifying” it might wash out what was left of the treatment.

I used it for the first time this morning and OMG I feel like I have new hair! My hair is bouncy, shiny, frizz free, smells amazing, and my hair and scalp feel so incredibly clean and fresh! It didn’t wash out the treatment at all, rather it looks like it enhanced it! Still not sure what would happen with regular use so I think I will save this as a once a month kind of treatment.

So glad to have found this miracle product!.

I received a sample pack of this with one of my orders. I used it last night and it truly clarifies. I have oily/normal scalp and this literally stripped everything out. I applied oil to my scalp that’s made for hair and I was never able to do that without it getting oily.

Quite surprising. I also used a deep moisturizing conditioner on the length of my hair and still have to use a conditioning mist. BUT I had no knots which I usually have massing knots. So that kind of threw me off.

Though it did what is was made to do and claims to do I did shed a massive amount of hair in the shower and after combing. I’m not sure if that’s common with a clarifying shampoo because I honestly have never used one.

I have only done ACV to water rinses a few times. Sadly, I did not notice any scent at all from this shampoo but it did lather great and my hair actually looks much different in a good way. I have volume in it today.

On another note: I never use products in my hair other than shampoo, conditioner and de-tangling spray. I also do not use styling tools. I knocked 1 star off because of the massive hair shed. I hope this helps.

I have a naturally oily scalp with dry ends, and straight, fine hair that lacks volume and is prone to tangling. It’s also colour treated. As you can imagine, it takes a helluva product to address all those factors.

Because I’ve typically used very cosmetic products on my hair, I was confused by the minimal lather of the shampoo. I also didn’t anticipate how truly moisturising the conditioner would be, and used too much – so my hair felt a little greasy (also likely due to transitioning to a natural product, and the fact that these products don’t entirely strip your hair of its oils and leave it squeaky clean like inferior products do – an addictive sensation, albeit misguided).

However, since I figured out my perfect usage, which is a slight variation on the directions, I’ve been madly in love with them. My hair is looking and feeling fantastic, with the scalp oils really coming into balance and the mid-lengths and ends starting to benefit from all the hydration (and sun protection!) My personal routine now (every other day) is two pumps of shampoo as directed, then conditioning for 1-2 minutes as directed (I use two pumps); then I freestyle and go in again with a quick mid-length wash using just half a pump of the shampoo to clear out any excess conditioner I may have missed with my rinse.

The products smell incredible, and the potency of the conditioner means I don’t have to stand around waiting too long for it to do its thing. I definitely love these products and am excited to keep using them and improving the health of my hair.

This was my absolute favorite shampoo as a person with very fine hair. I’ve recommended it to everyone I know who have now also started using your products. It was easy to use. Lathered up great, only had to use a normal amount to clean my hair, and it was super volumising.

I restocked last year and bought a couple bottles before I had used the rest of what I had. It was such a drastic change between the old formula and the new one. The new formula is very liquidy and I have to use so much of it to clean my hair now.

I used to use 5 pumps. Now I have to use between 15-20 pumps, it takes much longer and it still doesn’t feel clean by the end. Plus it is not volumising anymore! I would have happily paid the $50 and more for each bottle for the rest of my life but now I won’t be purchasing it ever again.

I’m stuck with 2 bottles of the new stuff that I need to get through then I will need to find a replacement since this new stuff sucks. Let me know if you ever go back to the old formula. (I also see that there are no longer any reviews on this product when I know I read that someone else had the same issue before).

Experiencing the exact opposite of what other reviewers stated. There is hardly any lather at all, and yes I’m used to sulfate-free shampoos so I know what to expect. This product takes me three washings to get my medium length hair sort of clean.

I don’t use any heavy styling products so that’s not something I’m used to. Paired with the volumising conditioner (another dud) my hair comes out flat and dull and feels unclean. This product basically does the exact opposite of what it’s marketed to do.

The one positive is the smell is fantastic! Haven’t had a good Grown Alchemist experience yet though and this is their fourth product I’ve tried.

Hello to whom this email may concern I just recently purchased multiple items from your respective company recently and one of those products notably was the just recently released Detox shampoo. I’m so exceedingly impressed with it that it begged the question as to if American Crew was entertaining the idea of possibly creating a line of bar soaps with that same lather intensive formula and scent profile as the Detox shampoo.

Possibly creating 3 distinct bars of soap being 1: Exfoliating 2: Clarifying 3: Moisturizing. Since I’m a professed bar soap guy as opposed to body wash I believe that I as well as many others would definitely be keen on anxiously purchasing high quality bar soaps from American Crew.

As far as shampoo and hair products are concerned I was wondering if you would be potentially debuting a line of hair growth products regimen in the same vein as Nioxin for those suffering from hair loss maybe using the new natural line American Crew just introduced with the Detox shampoo segment maybe even creating an all encompassing shampoo, conditioner, and serum spray or serum topical gel.

Lastly I was curious to see if American Crew was thinking about bringing to the masses a large economy size body lotion with the same scent as the Detox shampoo and maybe even a men’s antiperspirant/deodorant with the same citrus mint scent.

Again this is simply an inquiry about a possible future development with these stated products in mind because I’m sure that I’m not the only one out there who would be thrilled at the prospect of purchasing these potential items from American Crew.

I’ve been using American Crew for over 15 years, but the formula has now changed. This is NOT the same minty shampoo/conditioner you bought last time. This shampoo unfortunately smells like lemon pledge cleaning spray and leaves my hair feeling completely stripped.

The conditioner smells like orange tang powder, but is borderline pleasant. The bottle of shampoo I received was only a quarter full, and the box was in perfect condition so I know it didn’t leak during shipping.

They either have a QA problem, or a returned bottle made it back into the supply to be shipped out again which is an even bigger problem. I’ve reached out to Customer Support multiple times with no reply.

I’ll be changing brands.

I’m convinced this scrub is the best thing Noughty has produced. I used their entire curly hair range a few years ago but ultimately switched back to a different brand as I was struggling with scalp buildup and itchiness.

However when I saw that Noughty had released this exfoliating scalp scrub, I knew I had to give it a go. The smell is really nice, very clean and herbal, and whilst it definitely does exfoliate, it does not feel abrasive or harsh on the scalp.

I’ve been using it in combination with Noughty’s volume boosting range as my scalp is naturally quite oily and does not like heavy products. I’m happy to say that this scrub has left my scalp looking and feeling so much healthier and essentially flake free, it’s honestly amazing.

I will certainly be purchasing the Detox Dynamo shampoo also — I only wish they made a conditioner in the range to complete the set! Not to mention, it has also left my curls looking fresh and more defined.

Love this! Thoroughly cleans my hair of all the build up from my styling products. You can really feel how cleansed your hair is and ready to take in a good conditioning treatment straight after. Around one to two times a month I use this shampoo followed by deep conditioning treatment then the conditioner.

I have super long curly hair which I straighten most of the time and the condition has improved over the months I have been using this and Noughty’s corresponding products. My hair feels softer and looks shinier and my styling products seem to work better on my hair now.

The smell is good. I always double shampoo. The first time does clean my hair but doing it a second time achieves a really good lather and I know all my strands a fully cleansed. Like I said I have very long curly corse hair which takes a lot of styling product to get where I want it.

But if you naturally have finer or straight hair one shampoo will probably do you. This detox has definitely been a game changer for achieving the hair style I want. My hair has much better body since adding this in to my routine.

Okay so this is the story. I begun an extreme health Journey where I changed everything about myself. This happened very quickly. And just like that I found myself in a whole different headspace. I worried about everything that I put in my body inside and out.

Then I went on a cleanse physically and also spiritually. What does this have to do with shampoo you may say. well for me to go through that change/ cleanse I had to detox. I really also didn’t know that you needed to detox even your hair.

I received a sample of this shampoo. It was so good that I immediately purchased a tube. I have fine hair and use hair products daily. This shampoo gives my hair a deep clean. After each use my hair is soft, shiny and full of body.

kind of just a nothing product. I don’t dislike this product but it really does nothing for me. It has a nice clean eucalyptus scent but I don’t find that it particularly cleans my scalp any more than just shampoo does.

The texture is also a bit weird, it’s slightly grainy.

I have bad dandruff it can literally flare up just by scratching my head. I use this shampoo and the brown bottle conditioner redken as well and I literally have NO dandruff. I’ve tried every shampoo and conditioner that you can think of on this planet and nothing has ever worked.

It’s simultaneously the best and worst cleansing/clarifying shampoo I’ve ever used. I have dry scalp and occasional eczema. I have very long, color treated, porous hair that I wash my hair once a week.

The first two times the shampoo removed a lot of buildup, dandruff, and helped clear my eczema. I used the shampoo only on my scalp but as I rinse it off it gets on the rest of my hair. After the 3 use, I notice my hair would get extremely tangled and dry.

The knots were so bad it hurt trying to get them out. I have to used 3 times as much conditioner to help combat the dryness. I think I’m still going to use the shampoo once a month and get another shampoo to use for my weekly hair washes.

Bottom line I was pleasantly surprised how well it cleansed my scalp but it’s too drying for the rest of my hair.

I can always tell when any shampoo is expensive- my hair just looks good when they are. Metal Detox, well, that is rather new to me but there must be something true about it because my coloured hair looks shinier and glossier than usual.

The colour seems to be more vibrant too. What I like about this shampoo is its lush formula that lathers extremely well. Also, the scalp feels clean so the shampoo has rather good cleansing properties.

It smells expensive, exactly like it should. What I do not like about it though is the packaging. While I appreciate a simple design on the sticker, I am not a fan of a bottle. Since the formula is rather thick, it is hard to squeeze the shampoo out of the bottle, especially when your hands are wet.

All in all, the shampoo dies work and is pleasant to use.

I’m usually really skeptical and critical of shampoo that claims to work against hard water/mineral buildup because nothing has worked that well for me before – but this made a difference from the first use.

I have platinum blonde (like, WHITE platinum) hair, and the discoloration and dulling are real, especially in my city that I think is #2 for the hardest water in the US. My hair looked lighter and brighter from the first wash, and it still felt soft and looked shiny.

My color looked more even so it seems to address porosity to a degree as well which is awesome. A lot of shampoo for hard water is super drying and harsh but this isn’t at all! I have curly hair so if it’s drying it’s hard to use semi-regularly but I’m thrilled I won’t have to worry about that with this.

This will absolutely be a staple in my haircare now. I’m so so impressed with it.

I will be honest and say that I thought that L’Oréal Professionnel Metal Detox Shampoo was not going make a great deal of difference to my hair. It’s always nice to find out that you’re wrong. This stuff is the bomb.

It’s designed to remove metal inside the fibre of your hair, metal from the hair colouring process increases the risk breakage and can make your colour look little bit off. I’m very happy to say that it’s all true! The shampoo smells wonderful with a light citrus fragrance and foam beautifully.

My hair feels nicer after washing, the strands cleaner and a little stronger and when dry and the colour and shine is fantastic. Worth the investment.

VERY, VERY Disappointed!! I ordered the shampoo as stated in the listing. I received the conditioner. I never heard from the company, they never offered to correct the mistake, no apology, after I sent emails stating they sent the wrong product.

I have long thin straight oily hair and using this shampoo made my hair feel super clean and light. I had to double cleanse with the shampoo to make sure I washed all of it but it didn’t feel like I had to use a lot of product to accomplish this.

I skipped conditioner as recommended and followed up with the K18 leave-in molecular repair hair mask. After my hair dried, I noticed that my hair was much softer and smoother but I can’t say that the mask worked better with the shampoo than without as I have been already using the mask in my hair care routine for the last 2 months.

I have hypothyroidism and low hormonal levels for which I take meds & under-the-skin pellets (I’m female btw). I experienced hair fall thought to be due to testosterone levels increasing and was prescribed spironolactone and later, compounded 7% minoxidil.

Spironolactone helped control my suddenly crazy oily skin and breakouts but I was still experiencing a ton of hair fall to the point️ that my hair was noticeably thinner and was prescribed this high dose of minoxidil twice daily.

A side effect, which is rare apparently, was that it changed my normally shiny fine slightly wavy hair (which I had a lot of off) into a dry straw-like frizzy mess with crazy unmanageable waves. Stubborn waves that curled upwards and across the back of my head.

I ended up cutting my mid to long length hair into a bob, added layers to help cut off the damage and make it more manageable and cuts every 3 weeks. I can’t do keratin treatments because I had one in the past and had an allergic reaction.

I bought this curly hair product for my straight hair simply hoping to add a boost of moisture to my hair while also thinking that the conditioner’s scent would smell good.

The smell is divine – the soft coconut and other refreshing scents recalls memories of soft white sand, warm ocean water, and relaxation. I felt like my shower had turned into a tropical oasis. My hair felt so soft, moisturized, and silky.

This conditioner smoothed beautifully into my hair and spread easily to coat each strand in moisturizing goodness. As I washed it out, I could feel my hair detangle effortlessly between my fingers. Unfortunately, it was around this time that I started to feel a burning sensation on my scalp.

After I finished rinsing, I checked my scalp in the mirror – red, irritated patches had appeared on my scalp where I had accidentally rubbed some of the product into my skin. This is not uncommon for me, sadly – I have very easily irritated skin! Just to make sure, I rubbed a tiny amount of conditioner into the skin of my inner elbow as a test.

An angry red patch appeared minutes later. My skin clearly disagreed with something in the ingredients. I gave the conditioner to my sister to try and she loves it – she says it makes her hair beautifully shiny and soft, and her skin isn’t bothered in the slightest by the product.

This shampoo and conditioner is the best I’ve ever used. My hair is baby fine, curly, easily frizzy, and easily weighed down by hair products. This stuff works. I have an oily scalp and because my hair is fine and high porosity, I have to wash it daily.

I shampoo every day with this, it’s cleansing enough to clean my hair and scalp but never drying. I let the conditioner sit for 2 minutes. My hair has body, curl definition, and no frizz. Love this stuff and it smells pleasantly like fake bananas while wet.

I can’t smell it on my hair once it’s dry. I wish I’d had this all my life. It’s such a perfect balance. It never weighs my hair down, which is rare for fine hair. You don’t need too much of the conditioner.

I actually go through the shampoo faster, which never happens.

The revitalizing shampoo and conditioner leaves my hair so soft and shiny. I have 2b waves but this gives me 2a beach waves with some frizz day one. It looks pretty. But at the end of the day my hair falls straight and the next day I’ve lost all my waves.

This is without stylers. It does weigh my hair down a bit and that’s why I lose my waves. Smells really good and I’m still really shocked it makes my hair so shiny and so soft! Especially since there are no silicones and no polyquats in this line.

The conditioner bottles are way too small, I’m am a heavy handed conditioner user and this would get really expensive to do a 2-1 ratio or 3-1 ratio of conditioners per shampoo. So I don’t know I’m the long run.

With shampoo a little goes a long way.
