I love my Fridababy Thick or Curly Hair Detangler Wide-tooth Comb & Bristle Combo. I definitely recommend this product to everyone with thick or curly hair or have kids with thick or curly hair. I have both really thick and curly hair.

I have tried so many different types of detanglig products. Both detanglig spray and detanglig brushes that didn’t work at all. That’s why I absolutely love this product because it actually works. I love that it isn’t pulling or breaking and damaging my hair.

It is really gentle on my scalp. Also you can use this product on both wet or dry hair. The lightweight ergonomic handle makes it so much easier to hold on to. I love that the brush actually stands upright which is a total first for me.

I really like that it also comes with a slide-in case that protects bristles and makes it easy to take take with you as well. DON’T USE WITH BLOW DRYER AND DON’T PUT IT IN BOILING WATER. The Detangler is so amazing and easy to use.

I use it on both my hair and my kids hair as well. Thanks to this product there are no more tears, running away and standing upside down from my kids which is absolutely wonderful. I absolutely love this Detangler that actually works so much better than any other products that I have tried.

I am not exaggerating when I say this brush is the best brush I have ever used for my daughter’s hair. She’s 4 and has her hair down to the middle of her back. The texture of her hair is like mine, fine, but she has a lot of it.

She always wakes up with a proverbial rat’s nest (as my mother referred to masses of tangles) smack dab in the middle of the back of her head. I used to dread brushing her hair in the mornings before school.

Now, with this Frida Baby Detangling brush, i have no worries. With a brush that had the same detangling claims as this one, I would use detangling spray but it would take at least 5 minutes to work my way through her hair, oftentimes longer.

I still use the detangling spray but only where it’s needed now, and start in with the Frida Baby brush and it takes 2 minutes tops to get her hair smoothed out. I honestly don’t know what the secret is with this magical brush.

The bristles are spaced out a bit and are thin and flexible. It comes with a handy cover to keep the bristles’ shape. The only improvement I could see with this magic wand is maybe a bit of grippy coating on the handle which is still quite comfortable to hold as is.

Not that I expect it to any time soon but I will definitely be buying another one of these when this one shows signs of wearing out. I HIGHLY recommend this brush for the tender-headed lil one in your life.

We wanted to give this brush a try since it says thick or curly hair my daughter is five and has very long hair never cut before. We started using after showers and it worked amazing it was easier to brush than any of her brushes and she didn’t fuss so thats a plus for us.

We then tried it when her hair dried from a shower and it was a bit harsh on her hair I started at the bottom working my way to the top and I felt the tugging and pulling then I heard something fall it was a piece of the comb a pick broke.

I think this brush is great but maybee not for her hair length if it was shorter hair it be amazing but there is many hair types out there you must try for your self or childs hair. I think for hair to thin it wouldn’t be that great as the bristles of the comb hurt a tad bit I tried on the top of my head and bothered me a bit.

I think the hair on the comb is quite normal we all loose hair daily and its going to wind up on our brush daily, I did notice some smaller hairs on the floor when I brushed her but her hair is a bit damaged on the ends so that may be the reason for that.

Besides those things the brush seems its quite good great quality I do love the ease to clean it after every use and the brush cover keeps it clean and look organized easier to carry along. I do understand this brand is focused on younger users but like I mentioned above we were curious about this brush and love trying new brands and see what works on my daughters hair she has had long hair since she was born.

I genuinely did not expect a lot when I first bought this back in 2020. I have type 4 (varies around my head). Anyways, when wet styling, this is my best friend for getting through my curls, and distributing product through my strands is a breeze.

I love it so much, I bought a backup just for the heck of it. It’s a very nice and sturdy brush. And I love the quality of the pad which holds the brush teeth. It’s so much better than the Denman brush I bought several years back, obviously in price too.

This is the best brush I’ve ever used it was only $5! I bought it on a whim wasn’t hoping for too much because it was so cheap. I got it home and brushed my hair can’t believe how the knots came out.

I can use it with dry or wet hair, it keeps my hair (thick frizzy) soft smooth, knot free for days. I literally run my hands through my hair all day just because I can’t believe the knots are gone. I actually don’t dread brushing my hair now this brush makes me want to start styling my hair again.

The best detangling brush by far!! Cheap yet great quality, my daughters hair is thick in the 4 range on a texture hair chart, no tears, no issues, not a peep out of her on hair day! The brush (with water and conditioner) glides right thru her hair.

This brush is amazing and well worth the buy. We’ve tried all the other detangling brushes that ppl rave over that are supposed to do what this one does but at a higher cost and they didnt perform as well as this brush.

So glad this brush caught my eye in Walmart! Bonus-easiest brush to clean as well! Pull the bristles and it slides out to where the back opens and you can lift the rows of bristles to get a quick great deep clean.

First of all I just love Fridababy products, the quality is extremely high and they are perfect for little babies. This set of hairbrush and comb is perfect for my 2 month old infant:gentle care is great for my sensitive baby and his skin.

He has dandruff, so what I did I put a little baby oil and then slowly brushed it off with the comb and then with hairbrush. It did help me to clear his head skin and he didn’t even notice that I was brushing which is great for me because earlier he didn’t let me to brush his head.

I also use the set while bathing, I think it helps to get rid of extra skin that most newborns have. It’s great that it doesn’t take a lot of space so I can use it on the go, it fits any bag and even pockets, great for outside before we take pictures.

The case is very convenient, innovative as it’s so little and covers brush and comb so it doesn’t expose to potential bacterias. Overall this is the best Infant hair care set, in my opinion.

My son has a ton of hair for a newborn and we use this brush and comb combo all the time. We is the hairbrush in the bathtub as well to help really get the soap throughout his hair and do help remove any dry skin.

I love how the comb and brush clip together in a case. I have used other baby brushes and combs and I prefer this one over the others because of the curved shape and ease of use. Love that the comb is held in my palm to make the combing that much more gentle on their little heads.

I really like how it curves to the shape of baby’s head. Work well on fine wet infant hair. Doesn’t create more flakiness. I don’t care for the comb too much. It’s just a comb. but I like that it can all be store together nicely.

The color of the comb is a nice gender neutral color. I always look for things this color so that there is some cohesiveness in my diaper station drawers and diaper bag. I hate everything being all mismatched.

If I could change one thing. I’d make it easier to grip while brushing my baby’s hair. I have dropped it several times.

I think this is one of the most underrated products that exists and it’s almost life changing in a way. it’s called “The Wet Brush” is used to detangle your hair regardless if it is wet or dry. Like many, many other people I have experienced severe bouts of depression from PTSD other underlying mental conditions, unfortunately, that led to me going days without washing my hair (which was verrry long at the time) or even touching it for that matter.

I would mainly throw it up in a bun leave it which led to terrible knots tangles. those of you who have also experienced manic depression/clinical depression will know EXACTLY what I am referring to (if you or someone you know is needing help please for the love of everything you find holy.

If you hair is locked though this brush isn’t going to touch it, but, out of all the detangling brushes available these are one of the absolute best brushes that are available. I just recently purchased the Limited Edition brushes that are a collab between Wet Brush Disney with the Disney Princesses (I didn’t see the exact match so figured I would add them to the original).

These are hands down the most beautiful brushes I have seen as far as the design. They looked very cute online, but, the pictures really do not do them justice as it’s another level of cute when they arrive.

Each one feels as though it is made from actual wood hand painted as you can feel the texture of the lines. Whoever designed these did an amazing job. The rubberized handle allows for a nice fitted grip that isn’t uncomfortable after brushing your hair for a long time and the Intelliflex bristles used in the brushes are strong flexible while not causing any damage.

These can be used on wigs extensions, both real synthetic options. If you have any children that may not be a big fan of brushing their hair (I think we have all had that child as some point) or their hair gets tangled easily then you should give the WetBrush a try.

I love my Wet Brush Pro in metallic pink because hair is so fragile when wet. I’ve stopped brushing it in the shower! BAD habit! Struggling to grow my hair back fuller because my hair took a hit from Ovarian Cyst medicine and then I went on Spiralactone oral Prescription Medicine, but had to go off due to personal health stuff.

I went off after the shedding phase so now the front has some balding. My hair has always been fine in texture, but I’ve always had A LOT of it. Suddenly it just was coming out in chunks. I broke a vacuum, the amount of hair that would come out was SO MUCH it scared people around me.

My Dr suggested Minoxidil, I’ll figure something out. but this Wet Brush Pro has been a game changer! If I need to brush from the mid-shaft down after adding a detangling styling product/serum/oil, the Wet Brush Pro doesn’t pull at my hair, whereas other brushes would! I love the gorgeous design and am noticing less hair loss in the shower when I do wash my hair (which is damaging, so I scrub the scalp only and in a gentle manner).

Love that I am able to brush my hair wet and afterwards there is very little hair in the brush. It glides through my hair with no snagging, breakage, pain etc. I have tried other brands and this is the only one that doesn’t damage my hair wet or dry.

I loved this brush so much that I now own there round brush and green eco friendly brush. I recommend the wet brush for all hair lengths and hair types. I have used it on all different hair types when doing hair for friends and it’s always done great.

I have the coral one now for 4 years and use it daily. It’s still like brand new. I don’t recommend using the brush while blow drying as it will cause the brissels to soften and not brush well. They do make one that is for using with heat styling tools.

I won’t even own any other kind of brush. It was definitely worth the money I spent on it.

I just love this Pop and Go Detangler Brush. It folds up to protect the bristles when I have it in my handbag. It has a small mirror in the handle which I love. Great quality wet brush.

I love that I can fold this brush and the tines do not get stuck. Other mini brushes the tines get pushed in by the items in handbag. This folding brush works great. Mirror is ok, and not breakable.

Works well enough. Great for travel. The mirror is nice. You do need to push the center of the brush to push the bristles in for storage.

I used this set for both my son and daughter when they were born. The combs are gently on their hair and have a sturdy quality. They have lasted for years. I would recommend this product for first time parents.

Nice size that can be easily tossed into a diaper bag for a quick hair fix throughout the day.

We recently bought this to replace a version we had (and lost) awhile ago. My daughter no longer cries and runs away when I try to brush her hair. She refuses to wear hair ties, so we keep it brushed as much as possible to avoid severe tangles.

It’s gentle enough that the tangles don’t bother her as much when I’m trying to get her ready in the morning.

Unlike many baby combs and brushes, this set is sturdy. The comb has a handy rubber grip in the center while the brush has a rubbery end for easy handling while holding a fresh washed baby in one arm and having only one hand free for grooming said little one.

I wish the narrower bristled end of the comb was a little smaller for fine baby hair but otherwise it’s a good set.

With hip length hair I was skeptical this little thing could pull its weight and put a dent in these tresses but seeing as I’m a tiny thing myself I should have remembered the adage about small packages and dynamite.

It would take me many tearful frustrating hours to tame a knot on a single side, now maybe 45 minutes and I’m all knot free and styled. My only gripe? I constantly drop the brush or it flies out of my hand, I’m still trying to acclimate to such a different design.

It’s easy to clean, doesn’t get all mildewy or require a care team of its own to keep it pristine and static electric zaps have been few and far between. The bristles also provide a gentle massage, stimulating your scalp while smoothing out and promoting growth of new strands.

I have a couple of these. One I use for my hair, it is naturally curly and colour treated. I find this gentle, but effective at removing knots and generally smoothing out my hair, without breakage. They now do one with a handle which I think would suit me better, although this one is quite comfortable to hold, I think a handle will make it more efficient, as my hair is quite long.

The other one I have, I use on my cats bedding (I’ve labelled it to avoid mixing them up lol) she’s a hairy cat 🐱 and this works a dream on faux fur furniture and blankets – the vacuum cleaner is useless as her fur is so fine.

This is my favorite hair brush. It detangle a my hair so easily without hurting. The bristles are short and very bendable which makes it so that if you come across a knot while brushing the bristles slip away from it.

This is really good because you shouldn’t force a brush or comb through a knot. You need to brush it out with short, very light strokes starting at the ends and working upwards as the hair untangles.

This brush is perfect for that. It helps release the tangled hair without catching on the knot in a way that hurts or damages the hair. This is the only brush I use now for detangling.

My daughter’s have curly hair, that tangles easily! They hate getting their hair brushed, but I definitely notice a difference using this brand, from a basic square regular bristle brush. The bristles seem flimsy and like they wouldn’t make it through thick coarse hair, but they do! For sure cuts the brushing time in half, for us!.

I really like this brush! I have thick, fine hair with a little bit of a wave pattern. It detangled really well and pulled fewer hairs out than my Wetbrush (maybe 3 or 4 hairs). I always use a detangling spray or leave-in conditioner prior to brushing to prevent excess pulling though.

The grippy handle felt good. I also really like that I can slide the bristles out of the brush head to get them fully cleaned out.

This brush is horrible. I heard it was amazing on curly hair, but its not. It tears and rips through hair causing damage and breakage. There is no give in the bristles. The only thing I like about it is it stimulates the scalp really well.

Definitely would not reccomend on kids hair that is tangled.

Thought I wouldn’t like using a brush without a handle but the egg shaped brush is made wide for my small hands, so using Knot Genie feels tolerable and not so bad. I may believe the Knot Genie forces you to take it easy on your hair and not go so rough.

You don’t need to brush so hard to detangle your hair. You just need a little patience to get the knots out of your hair. The Knot Genie can detangle your bad hair.

Hands down the only thing that will get the knots out of my wet hair. This brush doesnt pull, or cause pain. It detangles long hair quickly and with ease. The design is made so that it is held in the palm of the hand, which I feel gives more control versus a regular detangler brush with a handle.

My mom told me about these brushes, and I am shocked. I just tried it out for the first time, so let me tell you about my experience! I have been waiting on this in the mail, and I purposely didn’t brush my hair for three days to see how this brush would perform.

I experience episodes of depression, so when I’m at my worst I do unfortunately go days without brushing. My hair is very wavy and it is super thick. My hair isn’t exactly curly but it can be with the right products.

I was a little hesitant to get the thick and curly brush, because my hair isn’t exactly curly or coiled. My hair is prone to tangles, and the wrong brushes give me breakage. I’m also tender headed around my crown.

Let me just say. this brush amazed me. The long bristles are perfect for my hair’s thickness. I don’t think the regular size would cut it for me, but, again, my hair is super thick. I felt almost no pain with this brush.

It seemed to glide and easily pick at the tangles instead of trying to rip out the tangles like most brushes do. I was also worried about not having a handle, but I never expected to love this design so much.

I have the tangliest hair out of anyone I know-my hair is very long, wavy, and has to be up all the time at work and when I sleep. I’m also depressed, and have trouble doing simple things like brushing my hair when I’m not doing so hot.

I get tons of large tangles, especially along my scalp by the back of my neck. Right now, this is the best thing I have found for detangling my hair. It takes care of small and medium sized knots with no issue.

The large tangles, however, won’t move without a detangling cream or spray. I really like to use it in the shower when I wash out conditioner to do a final detangle so I can apply product properly after washing.

It is unfortunately a very flimsy brush though, and I have broken one of these brushes before.

I want to start off by I think it’s a great company. I love the fact that they sent a first-time customer email and how to do everything the community is wonderful. I really wish they would sell travel size containers, I would have bought that instead of the full size containers.

Especially not knowing if this is going to work for my hair or not. I have been doing the curly girl method for 7 years now and I figured this would enhance my curls even more. Unfortunately shea butter also weighs my hair down as much as coconut does.

I have fine thin hair with curls 3A-2B depending on where it’s at. I couldn’t even get my curls to curl they become a mess by the end of my shift. The customer service staff was great on asking questions and giving me advice.

I do plan on sharing the bottles with my curly girl method friends hoping it will work for them since it’s not working for me.

Absolutely loving these simple 3 steps. I’ve struggled to find good curly hair products and my search is now over. My curls are perfect post shower. Without any maintenance. I’ve noticed less hair falling out in the shower with these products and more importantly my hair doesn’t get as tangled as before.

These products have been a game changer. I wish they were available at Sally’s, as I don’t like paying for shipping. I’m using these products 2x per week and only air drying, and not applying any products outside of these 3 steps.

Curls are good the next day after sleeping, and by day 3 they are more frizzy and getting tangled. I dont do anything to my hair in between washes at this time.

This tool is The solution to the debate of brushing my curls or not. I usually just use my fingers as I find any comb or brush pulls my curl out. Then I have some wave and some curl. With this light, funky, specially designed brush everything is even curls! I personally just use it in the shower to disperse conditioner and detangle if needed, then scrunch and squish all the curls for a couple minutes.

Let sit a few more minutes, rinse and apply step 3 while still in the shower (right before I’m getting out) scrunch squish that in very well and plop into lus tshirt towel. I also very recently got the LUS diffuser! Love love love.

Amazing. Found this item randomly as I browsed the Beauty section online, and it caught my attention for its unique shape. Clicked on it and read all the great reviews, it was cheap so I figured, sure why not, I need a new brush anyways.

I ordered this brush based on reviews from others. I was super skeptical on how it would work on my crazy hair (my hair goes from normal on top, to thick in the middle and course underneath). Every brush that Ive ever tried was either terrible or just meh.

Okay so first foremost I would like to say that your hair is going to shed, it’s hair and it’s life it’s going to fall out just like we grow new hair strands so trying to find a brush that eliminates your hair coming out completely is unrealistic.

BUT this brush here ! is amazing !! this is the best detangling brush i’ve ever used. My hair use to come out in clumps whenever I used to wash & detangle it. Using this brush, it minimize the amount of hair that comes out significantly.

I recommend this brush.

I had such a hard time, but I gave it 2 stars because it does its job. I have 3b/c hair and it felt like a full-on workout! Cleaning it is a nightmare, too. The shed hair gets stuck around the brush so much I can’t pull it off and resort to cutting the hair off.

If you have wavy or straight hair, this’ll glide through your hair like a dream. The flexi brush most definitely didn’t flex WITH my curls. I used the lock they provide for the brush. It didn’t make it any easier.

I’ve had this for maybe six months. The bristles keep falling out and getting caught in my hair. Probably a fifth of them are gone, and there are whole chunks missing. I have fine, straight hair. If you have thicker hair I would imagine that this would be worse for you.

I am going to use this until I absolutely can’t anymore and then will buy a new one. Also, the rubber disc that contains the bristles keeps popping out. It felt really nice when I first got it, I liked the flexible bristles.

But the quality is too poor to recommend.

I’ve used the brush every day for over a year now and its held up okay – some of the little white nubs have fallen off but all of the bristles are hanging on, the logo hasn’t chipped off. It’s also easy to clean.

I have hip length straight hair, the brush does a decent job of detangling wet or dry. Honestly I just bought it because I liked the minimalist design but it exceeded my expectations. The price matches the quality / performance.

I was curious about this brush after reading some of the reviews. My hair is long and straight. After trying it, I was blown away how I don’t feel pulling my hair (it doesn’t hurt) as I’m brushing after wash.

That’s when I use this brush, after wash when is hair is wet, to detangle it. If I’m brushing my my hair when the hair is dry, I just use the other brush I had. This one for detangling is divine, and loved so much that I gave to close friends and they all loved it.

I hemmed and hawed for weeks about this purchase, trying to decide between the sensitive and extra. I nearly purchased from an unauthorized seller and I’m SO glad I found b-glowing. Purchasing from an authorized retailer is super important.

Beyond that, this brush is amazing. I have super fine hair that’s on the thinner side of average. I did end up purchasing the extra bristle in pocket size as well, and the verdict is that I love them both! The sensitive provides much gentler scalp stimulation.

The extra distributes my scalp oils a bit better but I find that I use these brushes together (my hair type just falls in between the two categories it turns out! Neither is definitively better for me).

I’m not suggesting everyone buy two bristle types in two sizes, but because I did and they both work for me, I can say for sure that if you have a sensitive scalp and/or very thin hair – the sensitive brush is heaven sent.

I love it and it is gentle and effective on my really long, baby fine hair. My hair density falls between thin and medium, so the extra bristle also works for me. If you want to give your mane the TLC it deserve and improve its overall texture and shine, this is an investment you won’t regret.

I’ve wanted a Mason Pearson for over a decade! Thanks to b-glowing I’m now the delighted owner of two. 🙂 This handy size sensitive is really going to offer gentle, effective, soothing treatment to my hair through all the stages of life that have yet to come.

First, I wanna say that I have about 2B or 2C textured hair- lovely waves that begin passed my ears, but otherwise straight on top. I recently dyed my hair, but have ALWAYS struggled with frizz and weight due to my thick, voluminous hair.

So bought the Mason and Pearson Nylon and Boar Popular brush for thick, medium to long hair. The first photo is how I truly look in the morning when I wake up- no products, no hairdryer, no brushing.

The second photo shows what my hair looks like after a few brushes- much smoother, frizz almost non-existent! I can only imagine how it would look like with anti-frizz serum, mousse, or hairspray. The only thing I would point out in the second picture, if one looks closely, is the brush does separate my natural curls at the bottom and does not removes the frizz like on the top.

Either way, I’m still over the moon. So here’s my summary: PROS: 1. Removes frizz for straight hair. Make sure to buy the correct brush for you hair texture, as I have heard complaints from reviewers that brush did nothing for them.

2. Stimulates the follicles as you brush. It truly feels like you’re getting a head massage, and brushing feels enjoyable. 3. My hair appears shiny and glossy after repeated strokes. I look significantly younger when my hair looks so healthy.

4. BONUS: I have noticed my dandruff has been reduced significantly since I began brushing my hair with this brush, even more so than with anti-dandruff shampoo. I never thought that was possible! CONS: 1.

The cost: not gonna lie, that was the only reason I hesitated before buying the brush. 2. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong, but the brush does nothing for my curls. They separate and lack definition after I’m done brushing, so that’s my only gripe about this brush.

A friend was with me when I bought my second Mason Pearson brush 20 years ago & she was slightly aghast at the high price point. Over the years she?s jokingly asked how the brush was holding up, and I?ve been happy to reply that it looks almost as good as that first day.

The MP?s mixed bristles are unparalleled for longer, thicker hair. It goes deeply yet gently down to the scalp through the snarls, never breaks your hair, and closes the hair cuticles for an amazingly smooth shine.

I haven?t had split ends since my early 20s when I bought my first Mason Pearson brush. With a little care they will last virtually a lifetime.
