Caveat: I purchased this desk when it was on sale for $265 Pros: * Stand/Sit desk for a decent value * Large, functional desk space * Can hold a surprising amount of weight Cons: * Manual Hydraulics get finicky when working with heavy unbalanced loads, and do require some oomph to lift if you’ve got a lot of weight on it.

Detailed Notes: I setup this desk fairly quickly with a minimum of assembly woes, but it should be noted that this desk is extremely heavy, and probably should be assembled with two people in a large clear space (I had one of the legs fall and bruise my arm during the early stages, and turning it over to stand it up was about the limit of my ability to work with large furniture).

Once assembled and stood up, the desk works extremely well for what it is. I have the equivalent of a three monitor setup plus a CPU tower sitting on the desk, with more weight on one side than the other due to my setup being what it is, and though the hydraulics do function and allow me to lift the desk up and down, I have to put some serious muscle to get it to lift.

I would recommend keeping heavier items off the desk if you intend to raise and lower it several times in a day to reduce strain, and to balance the weight on the desk if you have to have heavier items on it to make it easier to lift.

In regards to the wobble that people will sometimes point out with this desk, when the desk is at its lowest its barely noticeable — my webcam won’t pick up the motion when actively shaking the desk.

At its highest, the motion is a bit more noticeable, but still requires a decent amount of force to kickstart. In the end, I find it acceptable, but I’m a bit more forgiving in terms of motion, so your mileage may vary.

What a saga getting this desk has been. Ordered the one with the shelf, was sent the one without the shelf. Sam’s was wildly unhelpful and hard to get ahold of for info on returning and helping me get the correct desk.

Many hours of phone calls and internet chats later and 2 weeks of time, I finally have the correct desk and I eventually just returned the other one in-person. Not only did FedEx damage the correct desk, they left it on the sidewalk of my home in the rain as opposed to up a couple stairs onto my covered porch.

Bad customer service all around! As for the actual desk, it’s fine but definitely missing some parts (just some small screws). I had no issues putting it together myself, but it would be easier with 2 people.

The crank is easier than expected, doesn’t wobble a ton when going up, and the shelf was worth it. I’m in an old home with wonky floors, so I really like that the feet are able to screw out so you can balance it.

The black top shows finger prints like crazy so if that bothers you, don’t get the black top one. The desk looks sleek, functions well, and was a good purchase, despite the huge hassle. I’d definitely recommend it and just hope you get the right thing at first!.

Instruction is very clear to understand. With help of my daughter, I install it in about one hour. There is one part that is bit tricky, but with patience, I get it hooked in. My suggesion is when you screw the nails, screw loose at first, that way, you can adjust a little bit, when you put on the cross bar which is bit difficult to put on if you screw nails too tight.

If you are handy, you know it. I am not that handy, but I still figure out after several try. All hardwares and tools included. My daughter is very happy with her new desk. It is super easy to adjust height with the hand crank.

Very smooth and ideal height for my daughter to sit straight which is very important for her spine development. It is large enough to put her computer, extra monitors and do her school work. As a middle school child, it is large enough.

I ordered this desk because I had been wanting a standing desk but didn’t have a lot of money to spend. I also liked the manual crank that can be removed when not in use as I have 2 year old grandson that has never met a button he didn’t like so the removable crank was perfect.

The desk was delivered by UPS and the driver left it on the sidewalk in front of my house. The box was ripped and torn so the corner of the desk was damaged. I was hoping that the damage would be towards the back and even put the desk together but it was right at the corner where my grandson comes to stand next to me.

Inside of the box was a flyer that provided contact information in case of damage. I took pictures and emailed them to the company “Stand Steady” and I received a response within the hour. They gave me the option of returning to Sam’s club for a credit or they offered to send a new desktop in my choice of colors.

I took the new desktop in Cherry and it was delivered within 7 days. Box was a mess but the new desktop is beautiful. It took me about an hour for assembly by myself. I love love love my desk. Thank you Stand Steady for your excellent customer service.

I am very happy with my purchase. I have been using the desk now for a few weeks and absolutely love it. It is very sleek looking. You can set 3 heights for the desk to remember so that you just press one button and it adjusts (rather than holding down the up or down buttons).

It is the perfect size for me. Very easy set up, a friend helped me and we (mostly he) did it in less than 15 minutes. Because the top is glass, your finger prints do tend to leave a print so you do need to wipe it down every so often otherwise there’s prints all over it.

But that would be an issue with any glass top desk. It’s important to note that if you are thinking of mounting something on this desk (ie a monitor), there is a bit of a lip under the desk, so I think for some people that creates an issue, depending on the type of mount you want to use.

It was not an issue for me because I am not mounting anything. I had called customer service before purchasing, because I had a few questions about this desk and they were fantastic, very knowledgeable.

I saw this desk on another Canadian retailer’s website on sale but I wanted to purchase from Lowe’s because they provided 1 year warranty as opposed to the other retailer which only provided 6 months warranty.

I contacted Lowe’s via the online chat to inquire about price matching. They price matched the desk and gave an additional 10% off. They processed an adjustment as soon as it was shipped (you have to pay the full price with Lowe’s up front and then contact Lowe’s for an adjustment).

Very convenient height adjustable desk. Power operated and the drawer in the center is the bonus. It was very tough to find a nice design with adjustable desk but this one has everything. Highly recommended.

One of the few desks that goes short enough for tiny people like me! Not too difficult to assemble by myself either. The tabletop being made of two pieces makes me a bit nervous but it feels sturdy once put together.

The pad that covers the crack isn’t really my style but it’s a nice addition. The only obstacle during assembly was one of the threads in a metal piece had an extra bit of metal sticking out, preventing a screw from being inserted.

It broke off with good tap from a screwdriver but had me worried for a second.

My V2 Uplift desk is one of those times. I was unsure if a standing desk would help me deal with my recently developed sciatica but I was willing to give it a try after hearing from colleagues who have various standing desks.

The entire process from finding the desk that would suite my needs (and budget) to the delivery to the setup was extremely smooth and easy to do. I was a little concerned at first since it came in 6+ boxes and bending / lifting were very painful for me.

However my wife and I had no issues getting them into my home office. The video that showed one being set up in under 10 minutes was encouraging but I had no illusions I could do it anywhere near that quickly.

It took about 2 hours to unbox it all, verify all the parts were here and to fully assemble my desk with all of the extras. A big chunk of that time were frequent breaks to deal with my sciatica. If you do not have it or you do not order a ton of extras then you will likely take less than half that to assemble a fully loaded desk.

Both my wife and I were extremely pleased with the quality of all the materials and how easy the assembly really was to do. Everything is extremely sturdy without you needing a forklift to move it. The assembly process is very easy to do solo.

I definitely recommend a second set of hands for some of the tasks like turning it over or lifting the desktop onto a good working surface where you don’t have to bend over. There were a lot of little touches that helped the V2 earn its 5 star rating.

Items such as the small handle to use with the hex wrench so I could easily tighten the bolts fully without killing my hands. Or the individual packaging of the assorted bolts and screws in very clearly labeled packets.

I am 6′ 6″ so my desk needs to be fairly high for me to use while standing. The V2 desk alone would reach where I needed it to be. I added the heavy duty casters since my desk was going to partially block access to a bookcase and I would need to occasionally pivot it out of the way.

That added plenty of extra height without making the desk too high when in the lowered position. The casters let me pivot the desk when either raised or lowered with little effort. When I lock them, the desk does not move around.

Adjusting the height is extremely easy. Just a tap of the control and it moves a little. After setting the raised height for me I just double tap the control and stand back. The desk moves very smoothly to where I need it.

There is very little sound when the desk moves up or down. There were a couple things that I found which slightly marred my overall impressions/experience. The cable tray feels a little flimsy. It is essentially a sheet of heat formed acrylic and not sheet metal like everything else.

However that is only a minor ding in my book since it is out of the way and not something I will interact with much now that the desk is assembled. The other negative are the cable holders for my monitor arm.

Neither I nor my wife could get them to go into the holes on the arms without breaking off. While a little frustrating, I simply replaced them with the adhesive cable holders I had left and problem solved.

Now that I have had time to adjust to using a standing desk I have to ask why these are not standard issue for all home (or work) offices! There are a ton of options to choose from and the desk is super easy to use desk, extremely sturdy (even when raised) and looks great.

I waited a while to post a review because I wanted to get all the accessories installed and work with the desk for a couple of weeks before settling on a final opinion. I have to say that Uplift exceeded my expectations for the entire experience of ordering, receiving, unpacking, assembling, and installing my desk.

I ordered a custom hardwood (walnut) top for my left-hand relief L-shaped desk with big ultra-thin keyboard tray and quick adjust mount, CPU tower holder, two power receptacle grommets and the crestview dual monitor arm.

Immediately after ordering, I was contacted by David Martinez in customer service with a note that my custom order was going to take longer to fulfill and was I okay with that or did I want to change the order.

I worked with David for a period of about a week and ultimately decided to let it ride and wait for the higher quality real wood top. He provided really excellent and responsive customer service and made me feel like I made the right decision with my choice of company for this desk.

After receiving a lot of boxes, I put it off for about a week and then finally broke into the pile on a weekend. It took quite a bit of time to assemble everything – I’d estimate a total of about 8 hours total over a couple of days, but I was going very slow and reading the directions very carefully – even then, I made two mistakes and had to undo something before moving on.

The instructions are VERY well done – just read carefully and follow exactly. I found one or two places that the directions could be improved but nothing significant. I did what the instructions said and counted every component and fastener to check the inventory before starting assembly (I’ve been burned before) and I did find that one of the control cables was not in the package.

Customer service to the rescue – David had the issue taken care of and arranged for the parts to be shipped immediately – they haven’t arrived yet, but I found that I was still able to complete the setup because the control box is close enough to the corner leg that the short cable worked to connect it for now.

The fit of the parts, pre-drilled mounting holes in the desktop, quality of the fasteners, and overall design of the components is extremely high quality with robust, heavy gauge materials and exact machine design so everything fits together just right as the directions show.

I was very impressed with the construction. I’ve been using the desk now for a couple of weeks raising and lowering a few times a day to walk on my treadmill, stand and work, etc. and it is incredibly smooth and quiet to operate.

I love the one touch presets I can program into the advanced comfort keypad. Summary: this is a very high-quality desk made with robust materials and construction and the design details are very well thought out and executed.

I am impressed with the entire experience and the look and quality of the product. I will definitely recommend this company to friends, family and co-workers.

I’ve worked at home for about 20 years now, and developed back problems that make it excruciatingly painful to sit for long stretches of time. I used to get up and walk around with my wireless headset during conference calls and virtual meetings, but now that video meetings have become the norm it’s been brutal on my back and leg from the lower disc issue.

I decided to get rid of my old desk and invest in a standup desk. Since I have 3 large monitors and lots of equipment on my desk, a simple raisable platform that sits on an existing desk wasn’t going to work so I started looking for a full standup desk.

I ended up getting the UpLift Desk after a lot of research on features and I’m wicked happy with my decision! Here’s why: 1) Getting an electric lift is so much easier than a crank lift when you’ve got nearly 100lbs of gear on your desk surface! 2) I really liked being able to order everything mated and color coordinated.

a. The punch-out options as cable pass throughs, pen wells, or outlets is really nice b. The monitor stands are excellent! Make sure you get the ones designed for the weight of your monitor though, I almost got the cheapest one which would have accommodated my 32″ monitors c.

Get the upgraded control panel. I love how I have preset the perfect height for sitting, and for standing and I just have to hit a button to go back to those settings every time without adjusting! d.

I did not buy the under-desk file cabinets or side tables from them though, way too pricey and bought mine elsewhere since they aren’t really important to the fit & function of the desk. Now when my leg starts aching from sitting, I quickly pause my video, hit a button to convert to stand mode and turn my video back on again within seconds.

And when my lower back starts aching from standing in one place, I hit another button and return to sitting. The motors are SO quiet people on my calls don’t even hear the desk raise or lower. I do recommend getting some 3M Dual Lock faster tape (or similar) to keep some of your wired devices in place as the desk moves up and down.

I did that just to make sure that the lighter devices (like my port replicator, USB hub, etc. ) stay where I want them. I wish I had done this years ago!.

If I had a do over, wouldn’t buy – not worth the price. Desk arrived about a week after purchasing. There are a couple chips and rust spots, luckily several are not visible when fully assembled. Programming steps are complicated and I’m unable to set/change all the options.

(Reflecting on the options now, all I really need is a memory setting for the stand height and another for the sit height. ) Cords come loose easily. Power cord is short so unless the desk is v close to an outlet, an extension cord is required.

I think what’s not clear in the description is that space around the desk is required (i. e. the desk can’t be flush against a wall/corner) or the anti-collision sensor is set off when adjusting the height.

Despite the directions, I am unable to turn off the anti-collision option.

Just assembled my new desk and I love it. Super easy to assemble except I noticed that the drawer was put in backwards. Luckily, I noticed it before I put on the legs. There were 4 tiny screws that mounts it on.

I removed them, flipped the drawer around and reattached it. It took some time since they were really tiny and hard to get into the holes inside the drawer tracks. Now it’s perfect.

I ordered this desk because I was killing my back at my kitchen table. It looks classy (I ordered the white) and plenty big enough for my laptop and portable monitor. Furthermore, I keep 4 pots of plants behind my laptop and it looks really sophisticated.

I had a small chip in my desk, and customer service was great and worked with me to fi the issue. Highly recommend.

Desk was damaged. Contacted seller and was offered a replacement part or a refund (of about 1/4 of the total cost of the desk). I opted for a replacement part. It’s been over 6 months and I still have not received the replacement part.

This desk is exactly what I needed! Nice and smooth operation, super easy to put together, and looks great! The only downfall is the screws that hold the desktop on don’t grip very well so the top can be pulled off with ease, even if you don’t want to.

Some better screws or a better pre-drilled hole so it doesn’t strip, would be much better.

This desk is great! Affordable and exactly as shown. The motor is smooth. I would recommend this product. As advertised there isn’t really a place to hold your wires (one hole on top left to have wires go through), so just know that prior to purchase.

This is a great desk! It is sturdy and nice looking. It has memory for two saved heights which is perfect for comfortable switching from standing and sitting easily. I have a heavy two monitor support set up and this moves up and down easily.

I love this desk- and I loved the price point!!! I purchased the hand crank desk in walnut with a black frame and it looks exquisite. For context, I have a giant monitor on top, a Fezibo frame on top and my laptop.

The feZibo frame is broken, so it just serves as a prop to create a more ergonomic experience. Things to note: As someone at 5’6″. I am going to need to add a keyboard attachment to the bottom as my hands have to go too high up when seated to make this a truly ergonomic experience.

For this I took 1 star off. I also wish they would create a manual crank desk with a shelf for monitors in walnut like they do for the electric ones so that I could eliminate the fezibo sitting on top of the desk.

The desk is sturdy- even at standing height, and the hand crank is not hard to use at all. I wish it went faster but again it’s a hand crank and it is easy to use so far. This is day 1 and I am so happy I purchased this.

The price point could not be beat either. Only other item I am concerned about is a very thick piece of plastic which is what connects the rod across that I am worried will be the thing to break eventually.

Further, there was one piece in assembly that was meant to hold the crank. I’ll be honest the holes do not line up at all for this step ONLY, and placement for this is so unclear in the instructions.

That said, to me it was purely aesthetic so I don’t care and just did not attach it.

I truly love this desk! The programmable keypad and motorization is so convenient, smooth, and fairly quiet considering it is moving all the weight of the desk, plus whatever computer equipment is added.

I have two large monitors, a laptop, docking station, keyboard and mouse on mine and it still operates very smoothly and remains stable. The height adjustment range is generous, although if you want to add drawers make sure you plan for the minimum height and width available to you after doing so.

The setup was a little frustrating because there are several holes that are not pre-drilled which means you will need a drill or electric screwdriver to get two of the main pieces attached. Doing it by hand is possible but would get to be difficult work.

I created pilot holes instead of drilling directly into the surface with the screws which seemed to make the process easier and cleaner. Beware that the elevated portion does not drop down with ease.

If you want the desk to be completely flat you must adjust screws and remove/adjust brackets which isn’t super convenient if you have it elevated and set up with equipment that isn’t easily moved. Also, the surface of the desk (mine is black) is shiny and smudges very easily.

The material is quality, but you will have to constantly wipe it down if you want it to remain looking clean. Overall a great desk for the price, and I would recommend to anyone looking for a great desk with options!.

I bought this desk for use in my parent’s home, where I’ve spent a few months during quarantine. Over the years, I’ve bought multiple standing desks for myself, including from Uplift ($650+). Initially, I was skeptical at how reliable this Flexispot desk would be, given that it’s much more affordable.

In reality, this product exceeded my expectations, and I strongly recommend this desk to people who want to try out standing desks and are looking for a good deal budget-conscious! Ease of Assembly: This desk was actually much easier to assemble than the other standing desks I’ve tried.

The design is simple, and I put the desk together in about an hour. Tools are included, with the exception of a standard screwdriver. Sturdiness: This desk felt slightly less sturdy than the uplift one, and this is also reflected in the specs.

However, I would argue that unless you plan on standing on top of your desk, it doesn’t really matter. For me, I needed to avoid leaning too much on the desk as it can wobble slightly. Given that this desk costs less than 50% of the major competitors, I think this is a trade-off that’s well worth it.

Value for money: This desk is a fantastic value. The quality of the materials is solid, and after several months of use, I don’t see any foreseeable problems with the build quality. The buttons are well-made, the mechanism to raise and lower the desk is sturdy, and the hardware also looks to last for years to come.

We love this L-Shaped desk so much we bought 3 and I’m scratching the web to find one more!! It is sturdy and very well designed. The fact that I can work standing on 100% of the surface is a live saver.

Even though the bookcases are a bit flimsy it’s not a real issue for us as we work mostly online and they are used to store things we don’t use everyday. Putting it together is not a one man job, so grab yourself a handy friend and take your time.

Instructions could be better. Overall it is intuitive to construct. Looks good. Works good. Has a feature that I wasn’t aware of but glad it has. I put desk down and left something in the way, it detected it and reverses before damaging the item or the desk.

I looked at the picture look like it was like really functionable the thing is the whole frame was bent so it was challenging to put the board together on the bottom which the holes was already pre-drilled in so we’re worried about those cracking and staying sturdy for items to be put on the bottom as well the up and down table for the keyboard that is already like shaving paint off it nothing there to protect it from if your move it up and down frequently or often or randomly and then there’s like this little footstool thing there that I think that’s what it is it’s a bar at the bottom there’s nothing in between is it like any kind of rubber or anything to protect it from when it’s gliding back-and-forth to hold your foot to keep any of the paint from chipping off and damaging the product the back piece that’s the middle support was pretty bent up we try to bend it back you know to where it’s kind of flush to the back of the table to put in the screws.

It was easy to assemble. Sturdy, attractive, just the right length and height. Glad I purchased this item!

It’s hard to find great Decaf FLAVORED coffee. k-cups, but you need look no further than Green Mountain French Vanilla. It’s been my favorite for over 5 years. Having said that, k-cups are expensive, in general, and individual seller prices are all over the map, so you need to shop carefully for the best prices.

Heavy and bulky box. You may need help to carry it in or upstairs. I opened the box and carried the pieces upstairs. Assembly is straight forward. One hint: screws can seem balky. Don’t try to force them into place! If they don’t readily thread, slowly reverse direction until you hear a click, then slowly tighten.

You should check earlier tightened screws after adding 2nd, 3rd and fourth at each connection. Desk is rigid and utilitarian. I have successfully used the height adjustments a few times. Reviews express concern that the motor or controls may fail over time.

I have had no such experience to date. The drawer is a nice touch but a little tricky to open as there is no handle So far, I’m very pleased with the desk that I use in my home office.

I bought my desk on 8/15/2021. About a month ago, the adjusting buttons just stopped working. I called Office Depot and they gave me a number to call. I called that number (the same one they keep posting here) and after failed attempts to reset, they say they will send a replacement motor but it will take 8 to 10 weeks.

I will also have to somehow take the current motor apart and install the replacement whenever it comes. I find it ridiculous that the company is aware of this issue and just keeps giving standard ‘call this number’ responses.

In the meantime, several customers are stuck with an adjustable height desk that is no longer adjustable. This is the main feature of this desk and it does not work. Now I just have a fancy $300+ table.

I had been casually looking at adjustable desks for a few months when I saw this one in the store while shopping for other items. It is very basic, sturdy, and a good size for my particular needs. Most of the other adjustable tables I had seen cost twice as much.

Although I would have preferred a bit more working space and built-in outlets, the lower price point was well worth the sacrifice. This table was very easy to assemble and the mechanics work great. The range of working heights is also greater than I expected.

while it is adjustable it takes 2 people to make the adjustment! First you have to unlock the legs then squeeze the trigger on each side and my arms are not long enough to do both at the same time, plus the desk was already set up with my computer and monitor.

This desk came almost fully assembled which made the build process pretty minimal and less time-consuming than I had originally thought. It works with an integrated app that tracks health stats as well as allows you to voice activate for preset height profiles which is incredibly useful for both seated and standing positions as well as having a secondary user for both their seated and standing positions.

If you don’t wanna use voice integration the buttons at the front also are customizable for height profiles as well. A feature that I fully enjoy for this desk is that it’s got collision control, meaning that when it moves it will not come into contact with anything that will hit it, which is an excellent safety feature that I wasn’t expecting seeing as I’ve never had my own standing desk before.

I think it’s great that because of this feature I will never have to worry about not only myself but my belongings getting damaged due to desk movement. Something that I found that I did not like about this desk sadly is that although there’s two sizable drawers to this, for me using this as my home office desk, I feel that there is very little space all together.

I have many items that I need housed at my desk requiring them to be close-by and within reach if I need something immediately. And although these desks are big, I need much, much more space than this.

Visually I feel that this desk is made of exceptional quality as it is quite beautiful in make. Very modern, minimal, and sleek. I personally have the black and gray color profile of this desk however I had a difficult time deciding if I wanted the one that has the wood and white themed color profile as it is incredibly beautiful as well.

I wish I had both! As with other desks there is of course an entry point at the back of the desk for clean cable organization… regardless of whether or not this desk was a smart desk or otherwise this feature is pretty basic, but still appreciated.

The ports for charging that are accessible on this desk are a help to both productivity and safety too as they allow you to safeguard your electronics from being torn out of or ripped down from some other outlet while being on the desk when it’s moving.

I feel as though this company definitely thought ahead and I am grateful for that because it isn’t some thing that I would’ve thought that I needed to think about previous to this. A feature I wish I could’ve seen on this desk is some kind of wireless charging pad built in. I know that it may seem unnecessary to some people but actually I feel like at this cost a wireless charging spot somewhere on this desk would’ve been not just an easy feature to add, cheap to install, and also a beneficial one that would’ve made this desk more worth the price.

This compact L-shape desk is perfect for my needs. Needed a larger desk now that I work from home. I couldn’t go with the larger version bc it wouldn’t have fit through my door. Just something for others to keep in mind.

I have a smaller office so I need efficiency- and order! This desk is PERFECT. I love that I can hide my printer away in the door and not hear it printing. It is a classic style desk and just enough work space while not overwhelming my office space! There was even room to get the adjustable matching desk! Two people can be working in my small office without feeling claustrophobic.

This desk has totally changed my office! it is beautiful. I bought the matching stand up desk but I also bought another one for the reception area and cannot wait to see how it transforms my in take area! NBF you hit it out the ballpark!.

This desk is excellent and very much necessary for working from home. It goes up higher than my office desk which is very welcome and it is very solidly built. I added in some felt pads on the feet so it is easy to move around when desired.

The one thing to be aware of is the desk surface can be a fingerprint magnet if you use lotion or your hands are a little oily. No big deal as I always have a microfiber cloth close by and I plan on buying a desktop cover anyways to protect the surface from coffee spills or whatever.

One person can put this together very easily thanks to the great engineering. I used an electric screwdriver and was done in minutes. I am constantly impressed with Insignia quality. thanks BB!.

Bought 2 of these in black. Heavy/bulky boxes to move upstairs, but movable. One box was slightly damaged in transport, but all goods were fine. There is a LOT of packaging to protect it in shipping.

Assembly took 20-30min. I didn’t find it difficult to do. One assembled, the desk moves pretty smoothly. Height adjustment range is good, and seems sturdy. So far, VERY happy with this purchase of it while on sale.

Found one on sale for $40 that’s slightly larger and with presets at a “Big” discount store. But I do feel more confident this this one as it seems sturdier and better constructed.
