I think this is a fantastic gaming desk! I actually bought it for my daughter to do her online schooling this year but then it will also double as her gaming desk. I love the little tray underneath we can use that to alternate between the school computer and her gaming computer.

it’s the perfect size to have in the living room where we can still keep an eye on her. Desk is very sturdy and easy to put together. I really love that it has the headphone hanger and the cup holder so she doesn’t inadvertently spill on the laptop! I also like how it is semi rounded instead of a straight edge, it gives a little more room for resting arms and using mouse.

I think the texture of the desk itself would eliminate the need for a mouse pad. it’s a cool texture.

Love the desk not real hard to put together better if some help but did by myself cause tight space where need help with! Just start with fresh mind needs full attention. Took 1-2 hours to put together, but i started late at night and the brackets on one was messed up other then that dont a bad put together.

This desk looks great, and was SO easy to install! I’ve never been great at putting anything together. I was pleasantly surprised at how the instructions were so thorough and easy to understand. And all the pieces fit together like they should, I didn’t run into any issues.

The desk is very sturdy and I love the color. I thought the shelf under the top slid but it does not. That would have been ideal for a keyboard. The desk’s box arrived with a lot of damage and the desk had some minor damaged places.

The box itself is heavy and I wished the company would have had two people delivery it so that it would have been in better condition.

This desk is a piece of junk! Do not waste your money! We worked 3days trying to put it together. The pieces didn’t fit together at all and kept falling apart. The particle board kept chipping off. Totally not worth the aggravation and the time wasted and the money spent.

So far, the desk has been great. The desk is solid, and the lighting on it looks great. Would be a 5 star, but when I had received the desk, there had been a long scratch on the elevated top, and the cup holder had been detached.

It looked like it was supposed to be glued down, but now isn’t. Besides that, the cooling for the cup holder still works, and the desk has been great.

Within 2 months of having the desk, the lighting strip has stopped working. Everything was plugged in work connected. When you disconnected it, you could see the light flash really quick believing the controller is malfunctioning.

Other than that, the desk is nice with storage but quality on a main feature is poor.

I have limited space in my home for my office and personal computer setup and this desk not only fits my space perfectly but is practical and a good looking piece of furniture. I didn’t think I would use the backlit LEDs but its actually pretty nice and I keep them on almost all the time.

I didn’t realize it has a cup holder with a cooling system, LED light and a USB charger, this is actually a pretty nice feature as well. I bought a couple of grey storage bins that fir perfectly in the storage space.

Great desk! Perfect for my 8 year old and all her crafting! The glass tops makes it easy to clean up after all her projects. Stylish and classy design! Husband did not complain about assembly, as this was a complaint read in other reviews.

I was concerned about shipping as big, heavy pieces like this are notoriously bad at surviving careless shipping, but to my surprise the piece was well packaged and came completely intact. The desk is beautiful and matches a number of other Realyn pieces we have.

It is of the typical Asley Furniture build quality and required a few minor tweaks for the functioning of the drawers. Like most of their products it is not intended for you to look under the pretty veneer and see pressed board from which it is constructed.

That being said it is a solid frame and feels sturdy. I like the height of the desk and the width makes it very visually pleasing. The top surface is durable and well suited for a desk although you may need something if you are writing on stationary without any desk pad.

Overall very pleased.

Really nice desk. Assembly instructions was easy and put it together in less than 1 hour. I had to wait several months for it due to it being out of stock and supply chain issues. This was not a surprise as I was given a timeframe of when I would receive it (came earlier than the time given).

Fit and finish of the drawers could be better but acceptable for the price paid. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase.

During shipping the top of desk got a nick. As it is a grainy rather than smooth top it is not very noticeable and I didn’t think it was worth the trouble or returning a large and heavy item. The large drawer has a pull down front panel, or you can slide the drawer out to open normally.

I’m not sure why you’d want to use the drop panel front. Regardless, the hinges are screwed into MDF and the screw holes were stripped when we got it and would not hold. My husband used some glue to secure it, again so I wouldn’t have the hassle of exchange.

A little disappointed at the particle board type material that the drawer hinge wad screwed into but it mostly feels solid. Very attractive piece. It is beautiful. Lastly, they did not ship the return.

I got email that my order was delivered with no mention that the other part would come later. I had to call for this info and almost a month from order for the return to even ship.

Exactly what I was looking for. First the good. The price was a deciding factor, and as such, it was better than I hoped for. Once assembled it seems very sturdy, especially for home use. The drawers slide on rollers, and work nicely.

I got it with free delivery, so that helped. The not so good: Even though it is well packed, there were a few small defects. 6 of the screws supplied were the wrong design. The package should have been O, I received P.

Fortunately I had some on hand. Most of the instructions are clear enough, but not so much with the drawer slides. The whole thing is press board, and the veneer is a plastic film. Care must be taken not to damage it.

I suggest you supply your own wood glue. Few tools are needed, the Allen wrench is supplied. Working alone, it took over two hours to fully assemble. One concern is the edges are very square with sharp corners.

If you have small children, or are in close quarters, edge guards may be a good idea. The drawer slides are very light weight and may not hold up under heavy loads? In review: For the money spent, I am happy with the purchase.

This is an entry level desk from overseas, that combines a large surface, three drawers, and a stylish look. This is not a high quality item, but for occasional home use, I expect it will hold up just fine for many years.

the big lot website was easy to browse and items had plenty of description. However, when searching for items using the search field provided, the hits on the search was not accurate. The search feature needs to be tuned up.

The office desk that I purchased looks nice when I put it together. However, the large drawer is stuck and very difficult to open and close. I checked and double checked the installation, but I have not found a solution to the stuck drawer.

Also, the instructions that came with the desk had drawings but no written step-by-step instructions. This made the process very difficult and time consuming. Another issue was that not all the pieces were labeled with numbers or letters.

Only one tiny glue container was provided which was not nearly enough for the project. I was generous when giving the item a 3 star. It probably deserves a 2. 5 rating.

I was at a furniture store and saw a desk of this style for $2700–far outside my budget. I was, thus, delighted when I found this similar style desk for $400. It is clearly particle board and the veneer, while I think it looks fine, would not fool anyone into thinking it is real wood grain.

I am completely pleased with this economical version of the desk. Now I have the cool style at only a tiny fraction of the price. Putting it together took several hours. Unfortunately the holes for one of the drawers were in the wrong place on one side.

However, as we have a drill at home, we were able to fix this. The drawers move smoothly. The metal tracks have multiple sets of holes. Thus make sure you screw them in so the front part of the track is about an inch from the front edge of the desk.

Otherwise if it is flush with the desk, the drawers won’t go all the way in. We made this mistake the first time but it was easy (albeit time consuming) to fix. I’ve enjoyed using the desk to work from home.

Notably, if you put a lot of pressure on the top of the desk in the middle, you can feel a bit of give. Thus, I would not put anything heavy. Nor would I sit or stand on it. For working on my computer, it is fantastic.

The large drawer has two metal rods that you can choose whether to have for letter or legal hanging file folders. The shipping was very fast (about a week when I ordered). They deliver the flat pack desk in a box to the house but we needed to bring it inside to the room where it will be.

So it’s a cheap little desk but I actually like how simple and easy it was to put together. Except when you have a part that’s messed up it ruins the whole thing. So I don’t expect to keep this as my main desk but my space is small.

I like that it has a top shelf I actually have the monitor on that one and keyboard and what not on the bottom. But I think the bottom could designed to go all the way back. It would be nice to be able to slide things under there.

Could use some spare screws because one was bad and slowed down putting it together. Eventually I skip that screw get the rod in there and screw the bottom part of the rod. Things aren’t flush together either with the metal parts.

The shelf underneath is nice but not much room for anything but need room for legs so what can you do. My keyboard mat doesn’t fit though as it’s too long. It’s great for small spaces that’s for sure.

This was not designed for easy assembly. The instructions consisted of just a few pictures. Not for the beginner in my opinion. My kit came with important pieces missing. Had to improvise to get it together.

Other than that it served the purpose for which I bought for.

I’m working on a third time trying to put this desk together. Not sure if it was previously owned or not but it has three chips in it. The middle bar came apart while trying trying to place the first shelf on.

I got a hammer to put the pieces back in the middle bar and tried again. Now I am considering Gorilla glue. I tried to call customer service but they played several promotions and then told me to call another number.

This is a neat little desk! The only assembly required is attaching the legs, so I was done in minutes. It’s easy to keep the floor clean under because it’s so open beneath. I was skeptical about the legs, but the bolts are secured by a receptacle piece in the underside and very sturdy.

I didn’t realize this from the pictures, but there is an awesome little compartment at the back, a sort of shelf for all your power cords. I put a surge protector in, so there are five cords going into the little hole in the top (I had to take that little plastic cover off for this to work), but just one cord down to the wall outlet below.

The surface is so smooth and shiny. I know it isn’t real marble, but it looks amazing. I get lots of compliments (probably because of how bad my old desk looked in comparison!!!). I love it. I would definitely recommend.

I would give it a 5 for appearance and durability, but to actually use a keyboard and mouse on this desk, it’s too high when placed on top. Either I raise my chair up so high my fear are barely on the ground, or I sit comfortably but then my neck and shoulders hurt from using the mouse 9 hours a day for the last 9 months with this desk.

Moved the keyboard and mouse to the openings (which I initially loved to hide papers and supplies in) but I sit so far left my leg hits the table leg, trying to type on my full-size keyboard. But keyboard has to go in the left cubby so I can use the mouse with my right hand.

This desk is so pretty I want to love it, but it’s just a poor design for use as a full time WFH job desk.

Love the desk and it looks great. The problem is that it was put together pretty shoddily and getting the screws in was a challenge in some places. You have to retighten them periodically as well. The little opening for chords has a plastic covering which is completely pointless.

It falls out constantly. You could glue it in but I just got rid of it. I got it in March 2020 when we were supposed to be WFH for 2 weeks (haaaah!) and it has held up since then and I get lots of compliments on it.

The storage areas helps out a lot as well.

I bought this desk for my daughter. Early into the assembly, I have already found 3 problems. I have to stop. 1 – Missing parts (one entire set of the drawer rollers, set of 4, was missing) 2 – Minifix bolts require a collar embedded in the pre-drilled hold – one of the holes was missing the collar so it can’t hold the minifix bolt 3 – Collar for a minifix bolt in another hole was so loose it kept turning with the minfix bolt, so it couldn’t go all the way into the hole (screwed all the way in).

An extremely frustrating process. There is no phone number to call. I am going to email customer service but I don’t have high hopes. It looks great in pictures, and we have one already, but this second one – with 3 problems in one delivery – represents too much of a risk for me to suggest anyone ever get it! Not up to Target standards.

First, let me say that the outer carton this desk came in was in poor condition. It had clearly been torn, dropped, etc. As a result, the outer carton had MULTIPLE tapings to cover tears, etc. And much of the styrofoam packing on the inside was broken up, causing it to spread all over the area I unpacked the desk parts from.

The desk itself, once assembled(not my favorite thing to do!) is as advertised. I like the finish and the size. It fits well in the area I put it. My computer, speakers ,printer and other things fit well on it.

Hopefully it will last a very long time.

This is a little cramped for a large laptop if you utilize the hutch. Perfect for a PC monitor etc. Drawers work well. Assembly is done decently with one person, but expect your hand to hurt as it does not recommend any power tools for assembly.

Otherwise, I still give it 5 stars. It’s sturdy.

The product and parts are solid, nice after a long hour of assembling. It was a perfect design for my daughter’s room. However, I would warn everybody of the risk regarding formaldehyde. The package I received was very smelly, which contained a lot of formaldehyde (I guess).

I left the desk outside for 4 days before using it. However, that smell still remains. My daughter’s lip just swelled without any reason and I don’t know if formaldehyde is the reason to trigger that.

I think the manufacturer should mention how to eliminate formaldehyde’s smell for end-users in their user guide or something similar.

I bought this desk for my husband as he has been working for home since the pandemic began. He has been making every table and room in our home his ‘unofficial’ work space. He needed something more reliable and practical to be more producitivity throught out the day.

Needless to say as SOON as we put the desk together, he got straight to work and it makes the office a nice hang out spot, helping to reduce the clutter with it’s filling cabinet drawer and shelf’s for storage.

“Just because you’re the best of the bunch, that doesn’t make you great. ” While this desk beats the pants off of most Wal-Mart furniture, it still has it’s drawbacks. ~The “engineered wood” (aka fiberboard) is slightly sturdier than usual, but still prone to “shredding” and chipping.

~The desk surface has a nice dark marble finish, but wears off extremely easy; half the desk surface already has white wear spots. ~The desk is nearly impossible to maneuver once set up and you have to be extremely careful how you lift it; otherwise the screws will pop out of the “wood”.

~The parts list is insane. It took me almost an entire day to set it up; and that’s without bothering to install some of the unnecessary finishing pieces and screw caps. Also, the instructions are (IMO) out of order, and several pieces are not labeled at all, forcing you to guess which one the drawing indicates.

~You can’t use power tools for fear of stripping the wood and/or hardware, which guarantees a very sore wrist from inserting the hundreds of screws and cams. ~I wish the cable management holes and ties were more plentiful and better located; they’re rather useless in their current positions.

On the other hand, it’s sturdier than I would have expected, and as long as you don’t mar the surface, it looks good. All in all, this desk is probably the best value for the cost compared to what’s out there, but that doesn’t make it a great desk.

Absolutely in love with this desk. It’s precisely what I was looking for- lots of space for multiple monitors, and extra space on the side for papers and sodas. The space underneath is great for keeping books, unused game consoles/controllers, and a cat or two.

The desk itself is also very sturdy, and it’s pretty simple to put together, so in the event I decide to move somewhere else, it will be incredibly easy to take apart and put back together. The one ‘flaw’ I’d have to say would be that the drawers aren’t wide enough to hold flat 8.

5×11 paper. The bottom drawer can hold this size if you can store it on it’s side. This is no problem for me since I keep my documents in separate cabinets, but if you intend to use those drawers to hold any standard sized paper that you don’t want folded this might not be your ideal desk.

Besides that small hiccup, the design of the desk is very lovely and it suits both my work and gaming needs ideally!.

I went to put this desk together and the X shaped leg is supposed to have a whole drilled in it to attach the screw. Much to my surprise, there is no whole there. It also looks like someone did a crappy job welding the thing together.

I called Monarch and they are telling me it will be mid-November before they can have the replacement part to me. Very dissatisfied. Of course Zulily doesn’t take returns. I could understand if there was a part missing, but there is literally no whole to screw the part in that attaches the pieces of the desk together! Shoddy! If I could give it a zero I would.

Searched extensively for a desk with similar dimensions. Most are larger, or smaller (and less functional). Perfect size. I ordered mine in white, and with the open styling, it complements a small room and doesn’t feel cramped.

Easy enough to assemble. A cordless drill is definitely helpful, but not necessary. Quite solid. Sits square. No wobble. So far, seems a high value. Rated four stars for a couple of small dings. I don’t doubt the company would make it right.

but I don’t have any interest in packing/shipping or waiting for parts. I’ll just live with them.

Please just see what I wrote to their customer service team which is one of the worst I have ever been in contact with. They help nothing and have done nothing to rectify this. I would never buy from this horrible company again.

I very much advise you to look elsewhere. We received an OPEN, tape falling apart, box thin as could be package, with the white protective packaging separated into tiny white bits that quickly littered my entire apartment.

I wish that I had kept the outside packaging or taken a picture but it was falling apart so poorly – I could not stand to have all the white parts around anymore and threw it all away. Please trust it was VERY far away from being able to be repurposed.

When we looked at the desk, we noticed that the edges of the corner were banged up and bruised as well. We questioned whether to return and ultimately decided to live with the damage. But while making the desk, we discovered we actually CAN’T make the desk properly as we are missing L completely.

After spending 260 on a desk, having it come in the thinnest, cheapest packaging possible such that it could never arrive undamaged, finding there was indeed damaged on the corners, still deciding to make it only to realize it also is MISSING parts.

I am beyond upset by this experience.

Do you know how difficult it is to find a black lacquer desk? After months of searching both furniture stores and websites, I tried Wal-Mart. com just for grins. Frankly, this was the last place I ever thought I’d find just what I was looking for, but Wal-Mart had it.

The desk needs to be assembled, but 2 people can do it quite easily (will take less than 2 hours). What really impressed me was how perfectly everything lined up during assembly. So if you don’t mind the challenge of putting something together, you will be thrilled with the finished product.

And you certainly can’t beat the price! I would most definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful, contemporary piece of furniture–which in my case will be used as a computer desk.

This my first time bought a furniture on the Walmart online. I was not sure how long I can get it. I was surprised it arrived so fast. No any damage on the box. I installed it. Pretty easy. All parts come in a box.

Save me so much time. I like those shelves under the table. Good quality woods.

The desk does not come with a manual. There are videos that show you how to build it, but my package came with the screws labeled by dimension. The video uses letters (rarely any actual dimensions) to denote which to use.

Do not mix up any of the screws. Trust me, if you follow the video, you will mix up the screws at least once. Now, I would not give a 1 star solely on that. Oh no. The desk looks decent and has some room to put things in, but the quality is not nearly as good as some pictures lead you to believe.

Sometimes the wood cracks and breaks easily. One specific part remains wobbly (the right side panel that fits into the right cubby to separate into a top cubby space and bottom cubby space). It’s labeled Panel 17 and is the last thing you install into the desk in the tutorial video, if you are curious.

Maybe this is all due to how it was shipped to me, but the issues persist regardless. I am already ordering another desk to replace this one. Certainly not ordering this again.

I purchase the desk, when I got it tuck the parts out only to find top of the desk was warped. There were pieces laying in the bottom of the box that had dropped out of the other pieces that was to be screwed to hold it together.

It was literally falling apart, I am returning the desk, I have already ordered the shipping labels to return it. It is cheaply made , of course made of particle board, there were also pieces of the particle board that had chipped out a parts of the desk.

The way it was taped up in the Box look like it had been a returned to them and someone had picked it up and shipped it to me. In fact definitely it look like it was a return and I got somebody else’s junk.

So I will not even give it a rating, it was in a very very bad condition.

I was so excited to receive the desk from the pictures it looks like what I’m looking for. However, it is taking forever to put it together. My sister and I have been trying for the past week to do so.

The screws don’t fit in the holes it is too tight and I don’t have a power drill. Some of the instructions are confusing, and what screws to use where. So what is going on week two and my desk is only partially put together so if you like to do puzzles and our training to be on survivor this is the desk for you if you want something that’s quick and easy buyer beware!.

Great desk! Fits perfectly in a corner and is perfect for gaming. The set up is easy and the desk is sturdy.

Arrived in good condition. Was fairly easy to put together and liked the extra width of the top compared to some other models.

The Gallery Leaning Desk is a really neat looking design. Unfortunately, it will wobble from side to side. Even when placed against the wall, it still seems that if knocked on its side ever-so-slightly, it will “shift”.

I used the anti-tip hardware and that did seem to help it a little. The delivery crew advised me that they all do this. Overall, a bit disappointed.

We wanted to carve out a small area for a desk in our guest bedroom. The room is small and a traditional desk would have taken up too much space. We decided to purchased the Gallery Leaning Desk (33w 20d 85h).

It’s truly an awesome desk. There is plenty of space for our laptops (Macbook/Surface). It’s at a good height. Our office chair perfectly fits under the desk. #sweepstakes.

This desk (and the related bookshelf) are everything you expect from Room & Board – well-crafted, beautifully designed, highly functional, and minimalist. We keep this desk in our apartment living room as a way to sort mail and store the laptop.

We have an accompanying stool so we can work at the desk, but frequently just end up taking the laptop to the sofa etc. I don’t think I would recommend this as your main desk if you WFH, but it works really well for a family mail/paperwork organizing station.

I ordered this in the gray oak. It is a beautiful color and goes well with the furniture in the room. Shipping was fast and was received before the estimated arrival date. While having two people working to put this together is faster and probably quicker I was able to assemble it by myself.

Desk took about 1 hour to put together. Everything went well. No broken glass. All screws lined up. I have at least 2 inches clearance between my thighs and the keyboard, which I was concerned about.

When opened, the bottom of the keyboard tray is 25. 5 inches from the floor. The tray slides out 8. 25 inches so I can easily access my small Apple keyboard. The desk does not wobble at all and the tray is stable.

I did follow all the tips in the instructions and from reviews so that helped with assembly. Very happy with the desk mainly because there is a lot of leg room. Highly recommend.

I love this desk. It was fairly easy to assemble and looks great. The glass and shiny black metal frame create an open look. Plenty of room for my large computer and laptop on top with keyboard and trackpad on slide out tray.

it is well built, came together easily and it tucks away in a small corner. Perfect for laptop and my books and papers in pull out drawer. I really love it.

I have mixed feelings about the desk and process. At a high level, the quality of the frame, mechanics, accessories, etc. all seem really good and I haven’t had any problems with using the desk so far.

When I had shipping issues (more details below) customer support was polite and helpful. Ordering online was easy. Assembly was straight-forward and easy with 2 people. I would not recommend the while laminate desk top though, and I have some small complaints about some of the accessories.

Shipping: The site advertises that they will ship your order same day if you order before 3pm, which was true for like 5 out of 6 of my boxes. Unfortunately, the last box didn’t ship with the rest. When the first 5 arrived (on time and in perfect shape), their customer support reached out to me, I confirmed I had not received the final box, and they said they would ship it out immediately.

I got a new shipping confirmation, which listed one of the items as backordered for like 7months. When I emailed to ask about the backordered part (surge protector) I didn’t hear back, and instead got a new order confirmation that just had the surge protector removed – but no refund or communication.

I eventually called them, and the customer service rep was very helpful and explained the situation with the backordered accessory and got me a refund. There were then numerous shipping delays on FedEx’s part which I can’t blame UpLift for at all, but that final box had the main piece of the frame.

So for a month I had 5 huge boxes in my house that couldn’t be assembled. It would have been nice for them to prioritize getting the main desk shipped out together to avoid this. The desk top: I purchased the white laminate 1″ desk top, and when I finally opened the box I was SO disappointed.

It feels like cheap melamine you’d find at a home improvement store. The edge is wrapped nicely, but the seam between the top and the side came discolored and dirty. I’ve been able to clean it a little, but it still looks dirty from close up, and I worry about the durability of the top itself.

Seems like any scratch will easily go through the surface. I don’t know this for sure, but just makes me nervous to set anything on it (thankful I added the writing desk pad! haha). I’m not sure if the other laminate styles would feel the same or not, but if I were to order again I would choose differently as I was expecting a nicer laminate finish.

Some other notes on accessories: The Zilker Dual Monitor Arms are easy to install and use, but with two 28″ monitors, you really have to have them pushed forward about 8-12″ in order for them to sit side by side, touching.

Otherwise the arms will push out behind the back edge of the desk (which doesn’t work if your desk is against a wall). This isn’t a big deal to me, because I use the desk while on a treadmill, so I’m further back from the edge of the desk, but would have been an issue I’d wish I’d know if I wanted to use them back pushed all the way back.

Overall, I like the desk and the mobility is great. Delivery was a pain, and I hope the desk top holds up over time.
