20 Best Desk For Short Person (2023 Updated)

This desk was for my little son and it fits perfectly. With me working from home and having my own work space the spacing is limited. This desk fit perfectly and it offers comfortability for his size.

It is easy to keep clean we usually just wiping with a damp cloth. I see him getting good use out of this product and would definitely recommend it for a kid that is growing.

I’ve been looking for a standing desk this size for a while. I’ve tried a couple of others before I found this one and my search has ended! It’s perfect in size and functionality. The spring lever is super smooth and can handle weight just fine so it’s easy to adjust the height throughout the day.

It’s super super sturdy and incredibly easy to set up. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a compact standing desk. I really can’t say enough good things about this desk!.

This desk is everything and more! Works perfectly in a corner in my smaller apartment. No longer have to put my workstation up and down because now it’s on this desk! Easy to assemble, standing feature works great.

Pricey for a non electronic desk but we love it.

Can I say I am in love?! So much so that I am writing this review less than 24 hours after assembling. To start off, I am a tall human, nearly 6 ft. So when I saw that this table was adjustable, I was skeptical to how high it could actually go.

Lo and behold, after less than an hour of assemblage, I rolled my chair to the desk and found my laptop at eye level seated, and it is not even at its highest bracket! No more neck pain or slouched sitting.

I finally feel like I am working from home again instead of living at work! Other perks: Easy assembly – it says that it requires 2 people to complete, but I was able to do it all by myself with little to no discomfort.

Lovely color and design – it matches the industrial/modern aesthetics of my home. Cost effective – I saw its bigger, clunkier sister will comparing prices and can say that the desk is worth the money for those looking for simple, attractive designs that are also space-saving.

Giving it 3 Stars because it doesn’t go high enough for me. I’m 5’8” tall and I cant get my elbows at a comfortable 90 degree angle to work with. I have resorted to putting two platforms under each base to raise it up another 3 inches.

It also looks way better in the photos than it does in person. The leg sections are very cheap looking as are the pins that hold each of the four legs in place. You WILL NOT be able to adjust this without assistance especially if you have anything on the desk surface.

I give it a high 4 star rating. Only bad part was during assembly I noticed one of holes that were tapped had some damaged wood around it, but thankfully it didn’t have direct effect on the threading inside.

Also it is a little wobbly. Plus side is it’s perfect for compatibility, tactical in that it’s not extra bulky and can find ways to be a well organized desk.

I was looking for one of these for a while. Found this on big lot websites and it was on sale thought i would give it a try. It is well built and works great. Every one is commenting on how they love it.

I love this desk! It has an easy latch and pump to raise and lower the desk. It seems to be well made and looks professional. I love that I can stand up work on my laptop or sit down if I’m tired.

This product is perfect for telework at home. It was easy to put together, and I love the way it adjusts. Paid a good price since it was already on sale and I was able to use my 20% off coupon.

The desk is much smaller than I expected. My fault for not reading the dimensions. Having said that it is easy to set up and easy to use. It is not very heavy to lift up but there is no knob to turn to raise the top you just have to use the two levers.

If you are looking for a mobile desk this has wheels and moves around easily because it is lightweight. It works for the purpose i needed it to, (as an extra desk for those that need to stand for a while or a portable desk for visitors in the office), but just remember the size is fairly small.

I had high expectations for this as it was a gift for my wife’s at-home office. She loved the idea, but when assembled, felt it was wobbly when positioned in certain ways. Loves its overall, but has to watch how she uses it.

Adjusts up and down via hydraulic system – easy to do. Top looks better than expected for the price. Metal legs look nice. Very happy; would buy again.

The desk was fairly simple to put together until I got to the drawer under the tray. The cam lock did not work. I’m not sure what was wrong with the alignment, but it did not lock the mechanism into place.

I tried many different strategies and ended up having to buy a corner bracket and install it to keep the drawer together. The whole structure of the desk is also a bit wobbly. The x-brace in the back is not sturdy enough to give the whole desk a solid feel.

With the new bracket, the desk serves its purpose, but I’m not sure I’d buy it again. There are very few desks of this size out there with two drawers (instead of open shelves) and a keyboard tray.

I love this little desk. The laminate is high quality, and the size is perfect for my oh-so-very-small living room. The only problem I had was in “building” the drawers – without help, it was very difficult to get the bottoms of the drawers to fit correctly (I succeeded with one, not so much with the other – however, it still holds objects, just doesn’t feel as solid).

I recommend the desk to anyone looking for a small but professional alternative to work from home.

Since I am now able to work remotely from home, I purchased the desk because it fits nicely in the small space that I designated for an office. The only problem I had was with the assembling of the desk and a missing screw, which I had to purchase from a store.

The instructions for pulling out the sliders to the drawer were not very clear. When trying to pull out one of the sliders, it sliced my finger, so I had to take time out to stop the bleeding and to put a Band-Aid on it.

I also had a problem locating the release lever to one of the sliders, which took a while to find. Overall, it’s a sleek and sturdy desk. I love the keyboard hideaway pullout and the two drawers for storing supplies.

Bought this because working from home due to COVID. Pros: Nice color; sturdy; well made solid desk pieces (most with thickness 3/4″); sits on some raised metal stands, so the desk or floor doesn’t get scratched.

I like it. Con: The left side cabinet is very deep with no drawers. Not sure how useful it would be putting items so far back. I struggled to find some plastic containers that would make the most of the empty space.

The biggest flaw is its design. The keyboard tray would be perfect, because the midpoint of the keyboard at the center of your body & room for a mouse. But it would only be perfect if the keyboard just had the QWERTY keys.

But most keyboards now have a 10-key on the right side, which increases the keyboard size by 6 inches. So the keyboard now has to be moved 6 inches to the left to contain the keyboard and mouse on the tray.

Which means you have to sit 6 inches to the left & that’s not in the middle of the desk nor in the knee hole. I’ve used a piece of foam board to “extend” the keyboard tray, & that works Ok. But this flaw may make this IDEAL for those who are LEFT-HANDED.

There is room for a large keyboard and to put the mouse to the left of the keyboard. Some questionable parts: the space between the drawers & the desktop top is short & might be difficult to put items there.

I’m an averagely-strong guy in his 40s, and the boxes the desk comes in are heavy! There are also many many parts to the desk to assemble – 30 pieces of wood, 11 sets of screws, & 12 other metal bits.

It took me 9 actual hours to assemble this. The assembly was not difficult to do, it just took a long time. You will need a second person to install the desktop top – it’s the heaviest piece. Buy a ratcheting screwdriver for this.

I’m glad I bought this desk, despite the design flaw, which really isn’t too bad. It looks like a professional desk, not some cheap plywood/particle board thing you’re afraid will break. This is a solid, nice-looking, piece of furniture.

I bought for a home situation. It’s the right size and though I don’t have a traditional desktop computer, the space built-in to hold one is the perfect space for storing spare paper for my printer, etc.

Because of the size of my laptop I have it sitting on the main desk top and use the pull out keyboard tray for writing quick notes or things I need to do by hand. It came in two boxes with very clear directions.

Be warned though. The two boxes it comes in are both heavy. We opened the boxes and carried the parts upstairs and assembled near where it was to be set up. A couple of steps definitely take two people, but it is simple to set up and thank you god it has drawers.

The drawer for Pendaflex files makes it worthwhile in itself!.

Since I’ve been working remotely from home I found it necessary to get a bigger desk. I’m limited on size but wanted something that would provide as much storage and space as possible. After looking at countless items online I finally decided on this model.

I absolutely love it. It came in two boxes, which arrived together and much sooner than expected. My daughter is the one who put it together and although it took a while she encountered no problems. All of the pieces were there and nothing was damaged.

It’s a nice looking unit. The only problem is I have an older Dell computer and the tower is quite big. It fit in the space allotted but I had to take the door off because it wouldn’t close. It looks fine without it and for the money spent I couldn’t be happier.

I was really torn between the new Comhar desk and a desk that had the 55” or 60” inch option. I am a digital marketer for a living and really enjoy have a large space for all my screens and keyboard and mouse.

I originally ordered the Seiffen Laminated Standing Desk (Eco & Pro) in a 55”, but it arrived with a small dent in the top, and Flexispot gave me a full refund and said to only send back the bottom.

(I donated the top to Habitat for Humanity). I kept going back and forth between the two desks, but I figured if I mounted my screen and had the drawer of the Comhar desk it would mean that I would have more desk space and I wouldn’t notice the 7” inches missing.

I just started a new job with a remote company (which is why I bought this desk) and since the typical 27” monitors they order were out of stock, I opted for a 32” monitor. I tried to mount it, but the mount I bought was for 2 screens and ended up being too much.

Long story short. this desk is great, but I still wish it was a little bigger so my 32” inch screen isn’t so close. I’m still going to try mounting it again with a different mount, but as other users noted – you’ll need to find a block or something to assist with the mounting process since the metal frame isn’t long enough.

I tried to mount it without and it was close to falling over. I will also say, putting the Comhar together was so easy and fast and is another perk. When the Seiffen stand arrived it was in a small box and was really intimidating (the frame and top ship separately) vs with the Comhar it all comes in one piece.

I hope FlexiSpot considers making this desk with 1) better mounting abilities 2) larger size options. I’m looking forward to when they send me an email announcing the new Comhar 2. 0 release (wink wink)!.

I love this desk – I’m an interior designer so super picky about furniture purchases. I researched forever to find something that looked clean and modern but not too industrial, and that had a drawer/storage since that’s annoyingly rare for standing desks.

The drawer on this is roomy enough to fit a surprising amount of pens, pencils, notebooks, and random office supplies. Also love the front usb ports! I’ve had this one for about 4 months and it’s perfect – easy setup, controls work great, looks fantastic in my home office.

The only negatives are more about available options than the desk itself – I wish it came in a longer size, since I like to spread drawings out. It would also be nice if there was an option for which side the usb/power is on, so you could customize based on your space, and not have cords running across the desk.

But for the price. very, very solid and well made standing desk. Highly recommend!.

I looked through dozens of desks and I only had three requirements: (1) it had to be standing/sitting capable, (2) it had to be black, (3) it had to have some type of built-in storage. The last feature, the built in storage, was hardest to find.

This is one of the few standing desks with a drawer big enough to fit a laptop into (I didn’t want to buy one of those dumb filing cabinets- I hate how they look and that they take up leg room). In fact, the drawer can fit two laptops! This desk is excellent.

Set up took maybe 10 minutes and involved putting together five pieces. The bulk of assembly came from how heavy the desk is: Fedex said it was 99lbs. Which I think is a good thing. This desk is STURDY.

I am very confident it won’t fall over. As it applies to height, my husband is 6’5″ and he can get the desk high enough for him to comfortably use it standing. It is relatively quiet as it goes up and down and the buttons are easy to use.

It also saves height settings. I personally think the desk looks nice. My only complaint with the desk is that it has a lip around the edge, it that makes sense. I included a picture to illustrate. As a result of this lip, using a monitor mount was not easy.

I bought the Single Monitor Mount D7L because I thought it would work with the desk, but I ended up needing to get a random block of wood so that I could mount the monitor because of this lip. With the block of wood, the mount is secure and very sturdy, but I was a bit disappointed I had to hack my way around this.

I am a computer engineer, so I do literally everything from my desk, and I cannot believe that I never purchased this desk before! This desk has been a complete game changer every since the very first week that I started to work with this desk! I am literally in love with Uplift and I am honest when I say that I cannot stop visiting their website because I just cannot get enough of their products! I always suffered with back problems when sitting at conventional desks. So I prefer to stand as much as possible and with the touch of a finger you can sit/stand. The benefit of being able to set my monitors truly to my eye level because of the customizable height of desk overall is invaluable for preventing neck strain too.

I added a balance board which is great for keeping me actively engaged when standing. I find I am able to focus on tasks better when standing and complete them faster too. I have casters on mine, so I can move my workstation around my office easily when needed for adding guests or a change of view.

The additional add on electricity points are brilliant and cable management works really well. It is a little wider than I had expected and would suggest more measurement points be added to the description details pages for this particular model as it isn’t a regular rectangle shape.

I have had other standing desks in the past that were similar but not as sturdy and didn’t transition as smoothly. Uplift definitely has the craftsmanship, style, versatility of shapes and finishes. Their add on components appear to be more durable too.

Although a little more than I originally had budgeted for I am glad I made the investment and would highly recommend this desk.

I have a Samsung Odyssey G9 curved monitor and the 120-degree desk fits it perfectly! Quality of desk is SOLID, and assembly was easy. Even for me, a typical guy who only reads about 1/3 of the instructions and wings the rest.

The instructions themselves are noteworthy: you can actually read them and it’s not in microscopic print. I partly want to think that delivering the parts for a single desk on a pallet is overkill, but nothing was damaged and nobody had to break there back lugging the boxes around.

I could tell from the packaging that these guys know how to ship stuff and to avoid dents and dings. During assembly, everything lined up perfectly with one exception: the two pilot holes for the black cable manager were off: matches one of the holes but not the other so I had to drill the 2nd pilot hole out, no big deal.

Controller pad works very well, intuitive and easy to use. Overall this desk is as good if not better than my desk in the office.

Horrible to construct. Instructions are unclear, contain errors in grammar, spelling and bad diagrams. I would expect substantially more from something designed by target Step 5 is particularly bad. It tells you to screw into wood with no pre drilled hole.

It was impossible for me to do that (it also says no power tools, I think that’s the only way it would be possible). The desk is very good for what you pay for. The height is good and fits me at 6’2 though if you are taller you would probably need an additional platform or something.

looks nice and the crank works fine. my board had a crack in it but I didn’t notice until after assembly. The worst was the assembly, very frustrating. The directions are confusing and had to unassemble halfway cause I made a mistake.

I’m usually very good at putting furniture together but this was hard. there’s also extra holes in the board that don’t get any screws. And I had to use an electric drill, cause I couldn’t do it by hand.

easy to put together. great colors and size. the instructions were clear and easy to understand. I put it together by myself, but definitely a little easier with 2 people to help hold pieces in place.

the wood grain is very subtle. the size is perfect for a simple set up, even with two monitors. the crank is just an easy handle to turn. 10/10.

Been using the desk for a week and wanted to give immediate honest feedback. Pros: easy to assembly, easy to move around once assembled, electric leverage system works great with several saved heights for ease, desk-top drawers are nice and tidy.

Cons: The desk is not build study and I’ve found that typing when standing rocks it, causing the monitors to shake; there is no wire pass-through hole in the top so I had to drill one myself to match the lower hole; the hanging clips on either side will fall out of their grooves almost immediately.

Don’t hang anything on them weighing more than a few ounces.

I was very impressed with the quality of this desk. Assembly instructions were easy to follow, though I recommend using your own electronic screwdriver or even a larger one than the little screwdriver that is provided.

Took me around an hour to assemble, not too bad. Functions perfectly and I was so pleased to see that you can save the height settings. The height range is impressive and height can be displayed in inches or centimeters.

The desk is exactly as descripted on the website. The assemble was easy since with my handy screwdriver (there were several holes were not pre-prepared as they shall be). And the electric lift/lower function works smoothly.

I’d place quite a few desk on my wish list here at the Q and even order a few and then sent back. Saw this desk and fell in love; particularly because of the height adjustment feature as I had this type of desk at work.

Well, I researched this desk and found it (the EXACT same desk and color-black- that I wanted) at Home Depot 25$s cheaper then the current sell price, with 10% off and free S&H :-)!!! As you can imagine, I’m one happy remote worker.

I would recommend it but research it first since you may be able to find it cheaper.

It looks good and functioning good but the product I received got defects. One screw point which holds the motor in center of the table bottom got damaged and I cannot put screw again on it, so now its hanging one side down but it still functions and the other side the drawer installation was bad which I have to fix by adjusting the position also the the drawer front panel had cracks on it and this is definitely not a good service from the team for 300 $ worth of product.

Highly disappointed after spending this much amount :(.

I have been looking at standing desks for 2 years now. I was tempted by the ones on Amazon, Wayfair, etc. as the cost was certainly attractive. I was also tempted to think I needed to spend thousands of dollars at high-end furniture stores.

All along, I had heard Vari was a high-quality provider (founder is a fellow alum) so when I saw this desk, on sale, I jumped on it. Arrived in just a few days and suprisingly easy to put together. Its gorgeous.

Ther perfect size and its movement is oh so quiet and smooth. Further, this one, while discontinued, perfectly suited my needs. Plus it comes with a cord organizer. The only difference seems to be the cross bar (which is totally fine with me – in fact, it offers another place to hang things AND it ha 3 settings vs.

I bought this desk. I literally had been looking at this desk for 2 years. I revamped my home office where I was working off of 2 desks with 4 monitors and was feeling like a prisoners. Lodged behind these 2 desks.

While 1 desk was not big enough, 2 desks were too much. So I broke down last year and bought this desk with a new chair and cable management tray and HOoooonneeyyy. Let me tell you I am free from the bandage of those 2 humongous desks I can sit or stand when every part of my body starts to numb.

Everything fits and some. Don’t hesitateif f you can afford it. ! It’s so worth it. Next stop the standing seat.

Got my new desk and it’s pretty fantastic! Love the look. Love that there’s space for 3 computers. Love being able to adjust it at the touch of a button. I have no idea how to set the presets tho! I tried it – unfortunately the desk lowered too far and landed on some furniture under it and then was balancing on top of the furniture.

Once I freed up the cabinets under the desk it went back to working with up and down but still no presets. Also I’m worried about the finish on the desk getting messed up so. But yeah – happy with this purchase!!.

I purchased this desk because of the need to create a quiet space in my bedroom to hold my work video conferences. I looked for a small, good-looking desk that matches my bedroom furniture and that does not take up too much space.

I found this desk to be the perfect one for my needs. It makes my bedroom look pretty and neat. I highly recommend this desk. In addition, it is easy to assemble, low weight, and stable.

I am retiring from full-time work but will still work 20 hours a week from home. I needed a desk that was not bulky and did not take up tons of space. My L-Shaped Corner Computer Home Desk is perfect.

It gives me plenty of desk top space and feel very airy on the sides. The desk was very simple to put together taking only 15 minutes from opening the box to complete installation. Thanks Vecelo for a great product.

I was looking for some more surface space in my “work from home” setup and this was perfect! VERY easy to assemble if you can even call it assembly. Basically just fold it open and put the top on. Much heavier and sturdier than I expected also.

A GREAT deal for the money!.

Good functional desk. The veneer is ok and has a nice look into it. Overall, the desk has pretty good build quality. Installation was straight forward enough but the instructions didn’t 100% match the reality.

For anyone who is finding that the cord is too short to connect the far side legs to the motor, there is an extension cable included. My only gripe is that the length of the desk is actually comprised of two panels, so there’s a line/crack that runs across the desk.

You can’t really see this in the product photos. Desk would be much nicer if it was one solid piece.

The desk was easy to assemble and works great. I love the pre-settings for sitting height and standing height of the desk. It adjusts quickly and smoothly. The only thing I wasn’t prepared for and don’t quite love is that the desktop is not one solid piece, but two pieces joined together during construction.

It’s relatively seamless, but I didn’t realize this when I placed the order. Still very pleased with the size, quality and function and would recommend! It’s a great size – not too large but not too small, fits very well in my bedroom and provides a comfortable workspace for schoolwork.

Good desk. A touch small but workable. Easy assembly and solid. Giving it a low rating because the controls do not function properly. Sometimes they work as intended, sometimes it suddenly reverses directions while keeping one button pressed.

Sometimes it goes in the wrong direction for the button. Sometimes it reverses direction after releasing a button. Fiddling with it can get it where I want, at least for now (after a few days) with my controller, so 2 stars instead of 1.

If the controller stops working completely I will obviously have to return it, which will be a hassle as it’s heavy.

This desk is much more expensive than some competing products, but worth the extra money. The desk was very easy to put together with just one person and feels very sturdy and heavy duty. The drawer is a nice feature but it is only about 1.

5 inches deep, so you can’t store a lot inside. The touch controls work well but would be nice to have the ability to pre-set certain heights. Also wish it came in another color but the white is easy to wipe down and keep clean.
