20 Best Designer Suits For Men (2023 Updated)

I’m really pleased with this DKNY Tech Blazer, and it has quickly become my favorite jacket in my wardrobe! I am a big fan of DKNY generally…their products are well made and attractive, and I happily own many pieces from them.

The only minor quibble I have with them as a brand is that sometimes their label placements are a bit unique and intrusive…and if you’ve had similar thoughts, let me put this to rest with this blazer…it is sharp, attractive, classic, and the labels are just where you want them to be, inside.

This is the perfect blazer in my opinion…it’s light enough to wear for an outdoor wedding, and comfortable enough to wear for a full day of work at the office. The colors are consistent throughout the garment, the stitching and hems are soundly made and unfrayed, and the fabric is soft and forgiving.

The Blazer is holding up as expected…I did send it to the dry cleaners after receiving it in the mail due to some creases from the shipping box, but since then the lines are crisp and sharp. It fits as expected…I wear large shirts and am relatively broad, and the large Blazer is exactly the right size for me.

I do have longer than average arms, so I was nervous the sleeves might’ve been too short, but, thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised that the sleeves were the perfect length. DKNY makes great products, and this is another one of the them…definitely recommend!.

My job dictates that I need to keep a semi/professional look at all times. While i’ve not been a jacket guy in the past, i thought this would be a good opportunity to try it out. Here’s my thoughts: Pros: Quality of materials: The jacket is very well made.

Good stitching and comfortable material. No complaints here. Overall look: it’s a handsome jacket. No real way to expand on this. cons: Sizing: I ordered an XL since thats the size shirt I wear. Turns out, i really needed the 2XL to fit properly.

Even so, wearing the XL still has slightly long arms, and the bottom of the jacket seems to come down too low. The 2XL would likely exacerbate this. Overall, i think this is a quality jacket that I made a mistake on.

I think that it’s a solid product that worth looking at.

I’m a manager in retail and always have to look my best. This twill blazer is very comfortable and very soft. The fitting of this blazer fits perfectly in the arm length and in the chest area which I really like because I usually having trouble finding blazers that fit my body type.

I am 6ft and 160lbs and found this blazer to fit me perfectly all the way around. I have been using this jacket most of my work days because it is cold and I need to stay warm and still look professional.

The black goes with everything so I can wear it with any of my other clothes and the buttons are very easy to use. I have found this blazer to be very well made and can still be looking new after some of my hardest and busiest working days.

I do not have any problem with wrinkles in it and have found that to be very helpful working in retail.

Good quality. Size runs quite slim – I am 184cm tall, 79kgs. Size 48 was perfect.

This suit is crap. First time I wore it the seam in the sleeve ripped out. The jacket says it’s a 54R but fits more like a 52R. The pants say they are a 48” waist, but fit more like a 44” waist. I normally wear 46 so I was expecting them to be a little big on me.

Instead they were a little tight. The style is old and ugly. I’m ashamed to even give this suit to Salvation Army. Don’t waste your money.

The price and appearance of these suits was the compelling factor in my decision to purchase. The suits sit great and look great. I was inclined to give 5 stars, but there were some loose threads along of the seams.

I’ve only worn them once and have yet to send them to the cleaners, so I don’t know if this might be problematic going forward. Otherwise, I am very happy with the purchase.

While I needed to have the pants altered but the coat fit correctly. I though the alteration would be fine but the way the pants are cut the pants ride down and could expose my butt. I do not like the way they fit.

I wish I could not only get a litter larger size pant, I would love to have an old-fashioned pleated pant option too.

We ordered 7 suits for a wedding. They came and a couple had different color linings, but they swapped them quickly and without much fuss. Appreciate that service. Overall the suits are very nice, having some stray threads here and there, but nothing egregious at all (scissors and gentle snip to those few threads).

Fabric is nice – not a $2000 suit fabric, but definitely better than the price hints at. Fit is slightly on larger side across all suits, with the possible exception of pant size 36 being a tad tighter than normal.

Colors are true to website pics, very good. I’d say you get more than you’re paying for – especially considering their great service.

This product actually impressed me. For a suit of $100 you don’t really expect much. This suit is great for when you aren’t ready to buy an expensive one but need a suit fast. I have been trying to get in better shape so I did not want to spend a ton of money on something that would be too large in next next month or so.

The material is not as silk-y as a traditional suit but the fit was nice. I would definitely buy it again.

I love the look of this ‘Black Knight’ Suit and Tie. My issue is finding a top and bottom that fit me properly. I ordered one size and the jacket was great, but the pants were to tight. I ordered a larger size and the jacket is too big but the pants are good.

My soon to be 20 son needed a suit that was a good value, since he will outgrow it quickly. This line of suits offer great quality and value. The service at the store was excellent and the suit arrived in a few days.

When my husband open his Christmas gift, he looked like someone had just won a new Cadillac. He always wants to look his best for church and this suit is just the right one, had alterations done on the pants they were to long as expected, but even the seamstress was impressed with the quality of the material as was I and he going to be sharp for the 3rd Sunday night church service.

Thanks for the opportunity. This was my first experience with your company. I ordered the suit with a wrong size. 48 L instead of 48 R. So I had to spend $15. 00 to mail it back to you. The lady who helped me with the return was not the KINDEST customer service person.

Then while I was waiting for the right size suit to be shipped to me, the same suit went on SALE for $30. 00 lesser price. So I actually paid $45. 00 more for the same suit. However, since I really liked the suit, it was ok.

In my opinion, you need to honor your sales price while you are in process of shipping and order.

Suit material is very nice however the suit in size 40 regular or 40 short were both too large for me. I ware a size 40 regular. The service in ordering and returns was excellent. I wish those double breasted suits came in Modern Fitt style, I would buy two or three.

Price was also very good.

This suit is truly a trim fit and fits my tall, lean, athletic body frame perfectly in 42R. It is also an everyday suit that is versatile for different events, both work and non-work. I loved this suit so I also bought one in dark gray and I plan on buying a third one as well.

Keep in mind, this is a trim fit suit, and definitely not a slim; there is a difference.

Purchased for the spouse in his regular size. Jacket fit well through shoulders and torso, but a bit long through the arms; trousers needed to be taken in rather substantially at the waist and hemmed.

Hooray for Nordstrom alterations! Good fabric and overall appears to be nicely made.

I am very happy with this purchase, which exceeded my expectations. To be sure, I was reluctant about buying a dress jacket online, especially from a company located overseas. After I placed my order, someone from the company contacted me to confirm the size since you cannot return the jacket.

That certainly helped place my mind at ease along with the payment method which required double authentication to prevent fraud. I did not ask to adjust the measurements, but in retrospect I would have gone a slight bit larger in the chest area.

The jacket is a little tight there, which is due probably mostly to me getting a little bigger in that area, but the length measurement appears spot on. The quality of the material and the workmanship is superior.

This jacket has good weight to it. I anticipate it will last a long time. I wish they offered traditional three-piece suits, as I would certainly be a repeat customer.

This jacket was excellent for the price. The color really comes out in the light and the fabric feels very soft. I work at a suit store in America and we would probably charge at least $500 for this in store.

Great jacket overall. One thing I would caution though is that if you prefer a longer lapel line, this jacket has a higher buttoning point and thus a shorter lapel line. Still, I would recommend this service to friends and family.

It is my first tailor-made jacket ever. The site looked very convincing and the materials on display very tempting. After doing some body measurements, I figured out my size (different from European sizes) and ordered.

The jacket I received is absolutely wonderful. Its fits perfectly, the finish is meticulous, the buttons are beautiful and the overall quality is top. I cannot find any difference with high-end jackets that costs a few times more.

I’m new to the world of bespoke clothing: I never had an existing jacket on which to base my custom measurements so I read all the reading and researched the ways people get measured for clothing. I accepted there would be some trial and error, on my part, but dove in anyway and made this my first purchase.

Customising your intended purchase is easy, with different options for different garments, but what really stands out for me is that through email correspondence, before my purchase went to production, and after receiving my first custom jacket, it became obvious that these guys really know their stuff: when I supplied my measurements, I had measured myself a few times, got other people to measure me, and then finally settled on a build – I got an email from staff saying the measurements looked out – with misgivings, I made minor adjustments, then when I got the product – they were right.

If they say your measurements look a bit out they’re probably a bit out. That was cool: the jacket didn’t fit perfect but still fit pretty damn close, and now I have an existing jacket on which to base tweaks.

I’m still learning, and still expect some trial and error on different garments, and still tweaking for that perfect fit. So, when ordering, if you get emails, take these guys’ advice on board ’cause they obviously now their stuff.

In the customising section of your purchase there’s all these options, and some sub-options, and some places to put more notes, which is cool; on top of this, when I got the jacket, there are a lot more smaller details put into making the jacket which I can only categorise as craftsmanship: minor details like interior pocket layout, piping around flaps, triangular flap on inside pocket, et cetera (far too many to list); lots of little details which impress the hell out of the uninitiated, like me, and, indeed, the interior of the jacket is just as impressive as the exterior.

So I wore the jacket out, to a suit and tie affair, with my linen shirt and vintage tweed waistcoat which I also purchased from these guys, and a pair of Kosmo Lupos, and who was the most noticeable? Me.

‘nough said. I’ve already also received a leather blazer from these guys – currently wearing it in. I recommend you use an existing jacket to base your measurements on or at least be prepared for some tweaking to get that perfect fit – do your homework! I’ve jumped right in and, so far, it’s all good.

I am very happy with my suit. I chose a high-end material and so Studiosuits recommended I purchase a ‘trial’ suit in a basic material ahead of the final order and this was a great call. The trial suit arrived promptly and I was able to advise a few important changes to make the fit better.

These were easily incorporated by Studiosuits in the final product which arrived within three weeks and looks great.

I had high hopes for this suit, but immediately hated it. The pant taper is too narrow, so they constsantly get hung up on my calfs. The material is a thicker weave, more akin to a winter suit, so it’s miserable in the Texas heat.

Plus, the alterations shop continues to get the best of me. After paying a rush fee to take the sides in, it made the shoudler buckle, which then made the collar too thin. Plus, the pants got tailored too short and had to be redone and they’re still too short.

Just an all-around bad purchase. And it was $1,000!.

I bought this suit 3 weeks ago and had a tailor hem the trousers. Then I had the dry cleaner press it, along with 4 other suits that are other brands which the tailor worked on. Today I went to wear it and noticed that the front of the jacket is bubbled.

The layers that are apparently glued together separated. I do not blame the dry cleaner because the other suits are fine, and I’ve been using this cleaner for more than 10 years with no problems. This suit cannot be worn now.

I have to return it to the store.

I was hesitant to purchase a Ted Baker suit because I’ve always purchased Hugo Boss. But after trying it on at Noedsteom I immediately felt the difference. The Ted Baker suit fit like a glove. Minor adjustments were required for my frame (I’m 5’8″ and 140#), and opted for a more modern look of a 36S.

The style wasnt as boxy as some of the other styles. The more trim fit is how suits are being worn, without looking like it was too small. The dark navy fabric was very nice, classic and not too flashy like some other navy suits that have a sheen to them.

This, more muted but yet very distinguished looking. Again, only some small alterations and I’ll be ready to wear this amazing suit. The best part is that because it was purchased at Nordstrom, should I need to make future alterations, I am welcome to bring it back.

I’m sold on Ted Baker and on Nordstrom!.

I alway buy Boss clothing’s,Slacks ,Suits and shirts. Slim fit is what I choose. However , my recent boss suit did not seem to be slim and more like regular. The tailor at the store did some trimming to suit me better.

Armhole fit was not shapely, sleeve cap too narrow/pinched looking

I wore the suit for the first time last weekend and it feels great, it fits amazing!!!

I was hoping for a classic fit, but tailored fit seems to be more along traditional fit, which means “skinny” pants. It is confusing, and it’s wastes time and money on both our parts not to give proper definitions of your clothes.

I don’t get the obsession with the fashion of these leggings, that cling from the thighs all the way down to where one cannot even get a smart looking cuff or break on the dress shoe. Sadly, the suit went back to the store for refund.

I wanted this suit, but I want a MAN suit, not a fashion skinny pant for tiny boys, or underweight, zero muscle definition adult males. Honestly Jos. Bank and associates, tell the buyers or make a separate menu for the kiddy section and the man suit section.

It is so annoying and frustrating buying a nice looking suit online, then to see you got a fashion statement pants, designed to be a few inches shy of being capris. I want man pants. I want professional, smart, mature, business clothes.

I will have to try again. Please define classy look, and everything else look. I want pants that fit, without feeling like I am putting on leggings, or so tight in the hips or seat, one has to weigh 140lbs for them to wear even a size up.

Please make a separate category for Man clothes. I don’t even know what you call them–the kind of pants that you can create a break off the welt of the heel, and doesn’t cling to your ankle, or grab your thighs, like some kind of work out clothes.

The pants are far too big to match the jacket and since it is a nested outfit, I cannot return the pants. I was told by customer service that I could possibly exchange at nearest store. Problem: Since you only have 2 stores left in CA, the nearest store is 100 miles away.

I called them repeatedly and they never answered the phone. This will be the last item I ever buy from Jos A. Bank.

The product is fine. The service to have them tailored is horrible. Over 14 years with JA Banks snd I’ve never had such issues. 6 weeks now and still no suits. Went to pick them up and the pants were literally 6 inches too long.

The jackets were not taken , but they moved the buttons over 2 inches ! I walked out to the store Front to show the manager. He apologized and said he would have them within a week. Two weeks later I get a call my suit is done.

I explain there should be 3. The man says no there is only one. let me call you back. That’s 4 days ago now.
