I’ve only used this product once as I haven’t any surgical spirit to properly clean it. As you can imagine I’m a little dubious about sticking needles in my face. I watched a few YouTube videos prior and I would say 100% make sure you’re confident about cleansing your face and this product prior.

The basic rules are using a surgical spirit to clean the roller before and after use. Ensuring your face is cleansed with no product on your skin. Do NOT use if you have a current break out as you will be puncturing the skin and spreading bacteria around your face.

It can be drying so one of the recommended products was “the ordinary- buffet”, which I have been using anyway. The needles are 0. 25 so it’s a good starting roller. It’s not too uncomfortable at all but some videos say your skin may feel slightly sunburned after use which is very normal.

Can’t comment on results yet. I have combination skin, I bought this product to boost elasticity in my forehead and cheeks as my eyebrows are INCREDIBLY expressive!!.

This scalp roller has a .25 mm micro needles. It’s not painful at all but be careful to roll in the same direction if you have fragile bulb.

Tried the roller on my head – can’t feel anything apart from forehead and temples. I am now massaging my head with Tangle teezer (The Scalp Exfoliator & Massager). But this roller is used for face. My face is more sensitive- can feel the needles and works well as any other mezoroller.

Great product. I had no expectations but i can actually see the hairs sprouting after just 1 week. I recommend sectioning the hair off and doing it in all directions and putting oil on hair afterwards.

It makes your scalp very itchy but just massage warm oil on your scalp and you’ll feel relief.

Have been using this for over a week now and my hair appears to be slightly thicker (also using the shampoo, conditioner, chewable vitamins, other branded hair serums and v little heat on hair) I must admit the 15 min duration is too long for me because I’m left with a very itchy scalp rather than just a tingle so have started using for less time more frequently.

Would recommend this product because I definitely feel that along with the others it adds up to a good result 😀.

I had crazy cystic acne as a teen and now have scarred and textured skin as a result. I have used this pen 3 times now and am trying to get into a monthly use routine to help even out my texture and get rid of the scars.

I think the pen is simple to use and is quite effective. Sanitation is very important while using the device but it’s overall a simple procedure that I enjoy being able to perform myself. The only downside is having to have the pen plugged in for operation, but not really a big deal.

I would recommend this pen to anyone comfortable performing intermediate level skin care, but don’t be intimidated because with some precaution it’s really not hard. I have used the pen up to a 1. 5 depth with good results and my skin had no troubles.

This device is superior to the manual micro needle roller. You can alter the needle depth with a turn of the needle cover so you do not need multiple rollers for different parts of your skin. –I do wish the readings were easier to see, though.

I would suggest you be experienced at getting micro needling treatments before trying this yourself. But this device is less than the cost on one treatment and you can do it in the comfort of your own home.

Just follow the directions and have patience for your outcome.

In the development of this product I was allowed to try it through a panel. I have used dermarolling on the face before and already knew to some extent what to expect. Not yet for hair growth. Used the product with the lotion and liked it.

Found a good product, would like some deeper needles

This little micro needle roller is AWESOME!! I have had professional micro needling with PRP and also have a micro needling pen for home use. Obviously the super best results are from a professional micro needling treatment because they go much deeper and used my own plasma instead of a cosmetic serum.

It also costs hundreds per treatment. The second best results are from home micro needling pen used with a good quality stem cell, collagen, or hyaluronic acid serum. But, for the cost and the simplicity of use, I was blown away by this little roller!! It gave me excellent cosmetic results and that firm and smooth micro needling “glow” – my serums were turbocharged and my skin looked great.

It is also a lot cheaper, less invasive, and much less trouble. I don’t expect the same results from this as a pro or home pen treatment, but it is GREAT treatment and well worth it. I will continue to use it between pro treatments and look forward to continued good results.

If you are on the fence, buy it and try it. You skin will love you for it!.

My skin has improved since adding micro-needling to my routine. I like this roller. It’s easier and more convenient to use compared to the pen, which I also have. My only issue is that the needles don’t seem very sharp and don’t penetrate completely unless applying very firm pressure, but the directions say to apply only mild pressure.

Having also had professional treatments done, I know that the needles should fully penetrate to get the full effect of the needle size. Applying mild pressure with this doesn’t do much in comparison, so it might be just as good to go with a lower needle depth.

I previously had a smaller needle sized roller and decided to upgrade to this one. I always soak the roller in alcohol before and after using and I’ve had great results. Of course nothing is or will be as effective as professional needling, but everytime I use this roller I can tell a difference in the morning.

Long term I have seen a difference with my forehead wrinkles and old blemish scars that have begun to lighten. It is a great product to add to an established skin care routine and this brand does have solid products that work as intended!.

I was aware of micro-needling, because my sister is a fan. I had not actually tried this type of treatment until I ordered the Micro Needle Dermaroller from Eight Saints. Like most newbies, I anticipated discomfort, which I am happy to report I did NOT experience at all! I am so impressed with the results in such a short period of time (3-4 weeks).

I did a little research, watched a few videos, and then took the plunge into micro needling. It has given me much greater results than I’ve expected. My skin feels younger and tighter, and I know it absorbs more of the products I apply afterward, so it must be doing something! I do this once a week, although I’ve heard I could do it more frequently.

This product is hands down one of the best things on the market. For such a reasonable price, you get a product that’s sturdy, light weight & effective. I ordered the 1. 0 & I’m glad I did. I have 2 of them but I’m still using 1 from 2018.

It has held up great. The needles are still intact, no issues at all. It works wonders on stretch marks, scars & skin texture. Even great for hair loss. Try it out. You will be glad you did. I seen results after the 1st use.

First, let me explain that I am an older man and a surgeon still in practice. I have been using minoxidil. to control hair loss. It was not until I added microneedling wth this 0. 5 mm dermaroller that new hair growth became evident.

The first time I used the 0. 5 dermaroller I was careful and did a ‘test’ version because my skin is sensitive. All went well so I have now used the roller 3 more times and can see a difference in my skin’s smoothness.

Having said that I would strongly suggest to anyone who wants to use a dermaroller to really investigate what products you should and should NOT use on your skin after you use this product. (I watched a really great tutorial by Pampered Wolf on You Tube) I had planned on using my Retinol and Vitamin C serums and found out I couldn’t.

(Vitamin C would have burned like Hell!! And Retinol is to be used ONLY as a topical product. ) Remember, you are putting holes in your skin so you must be careful. I stay at home for a full 48 hours since you cannot use sunscreen so it takes some planning but since I only do this once every 3 weeks (as recommended by an aesthetician) it works out okay.

I finally realized I should replace the roller after repeated use. This is my second. I see the difference when the needles are newer and sharper. My skin looks amazing. I do my face in sections (2 forehead areas, cheeks, chin, around mouth– and older roller on my neck).

Lightly swiping a few times in a few directions. Skin is tingly — and a bit pink — so I do it at night. Follow with Matryxl 3000 and Moisturizer of choice. In the morning, it’s like I used an eraser on my face.

I’m in my mid 50s and I’ve been using this derma roller for several years now. I don’t roll every week but I do it fortnightly. I do it more as an anti-aging regime and usually the night after rolling, my face looks really good as in firm and taut and this would last several days after.

The reason I don’t do it more often is because my skin is very sensitive. I also encourage anyone who wants to try to give this a go as this has individual needles and they are sharper.

I bought this on “deals of the day” and figured why not. I also bought it with the serum you rub on after the roller. The roller is pretty high quality and painless. I will say I’ve seen slight thickness in my beard but also haven’t used it as much as recommended which i need to do.

It looks like there is more beard growth in those spots where growth was somewhat lacking. The roller tingles a bit when using it but doesn’t hurt. It was purchased on sale and the price was good value compared to competing brands.

I like to use an astringent after the roller.

Bought it some time ago but didn’t have the courage to use it until recently. First of all, you can’t just sanitise this roller by spraying it with alcohol + water. You got to soak it in alcohol for good 10 mins before and after use.

It meant to pierce your skin and you want to make sure that it is properly sanitised. I roll my skin at night, applied my preferred serum of choice & sees result immediately the morning after. But the price does not justify it’s efficiency.

I see many other derma rollers out there with more affordable price. And having to replace this after 10-15 uses, it pretty pricey for a disposable tool.

I have used other (cheaper) derma rollers in the past, but there is something. different (?). about this one. Have been using this little treasure for a few months now and the difference in my skin is unreal.

The Japonesque – Complexion Perfection Microneedle Roller is the first microneedling experience that I’ve ever had. The instructions are extremely vague. My first time using this product I didn’t know you only use the microneedle roller approx every 4 weeks.

So the first time I used it I used it in the day and it made my face feel really good and it made my face look “alive” and luminous. In the evening I decided to use it again. This time the feeling was not so good.

My face turned bloody read and burned SO badly it felt like my face was on fire. You could see that my face was inflamed as you could see the bumps. I tried to alleviate the pain by putting coconut oil on it but sadly it didn’t work.

My face burned for at least a good 2 hours before it let up. Despite this hiccup, I was fine the next day. After researching, how to properly use it. I will try this again in a few weeks since it did make a difference the first try at using my first microneedle roller.

This was definitely interesting to use. It does not hurt your face, just be sure not to press too hard. It specializes in allowing face serums and moisturizers to sink into the skin better. When I used it it did cause a little bit of bleeding, but not very much to where anyone would even notices; like a pinpoint size of blood.

It has made a difference in the way my face feels. My face feels a lot more cleaner and actually a little more vibrant and colorful. I believe that is cause it brings the blood to the surface of the skin.

So, information that I did not find until I purchased this is that the needle length is 0. 20 mm. There are 3 sanitizing tablets included, and the case doubles as a container for the sanitizing solution (a tablet that you add water to).

There is a disclaimer that states “this product contains persulfates, which are a known allergen”. I just started to use this last night, and following – I applied a retinoil serum. My skin is a bit on the lighter side with yellow undertones (dark blonde hair and brown eyes) not overly sensitive, I do have large pores on and around my nose, and my skin goes between combination skin to a bit dehydrated in winter months.

I do have a little bit of hyperpigmentation from acne scars. I felt a little bit of discomfort after the initial rolling session, but I expected that. I did see some plumping of the skin, which was nice and the next day was mostly back to normal.

Too short for stimulating collagen production. The needles need to be at least. 25mm to roll on the skin and perform it’s best. I had to press hard to have any effect (I have other tried other Derma rollers in the past).

I do believe Equate did have a. 25mm Derma roller before, but for some reason they are now selling. 20mm (understandable). I would recommend a. 25mm needle length on a facial roller. If absolutely necessary, the tingling sensation means scares some people away from one.

I really loved the results from using Equate Beauty Facial Micro Roller. This was my first time using a roller like this. I’ve heard about the benefits and wanted to try one out. I made sure to read the instructions and even watched a couple of tutorials about it.

I really love the OliviereWilson dermaroller. I have seen fantastic results. My skin seems more vibrant since using the 0. 3mm three times a week. I will be investing in the 0. 5mm roller. I did however realise that I paid for an extra sanitising spray without realising one came with the dermaroller.

Unfortunately I still only received one despite paying for the extra one in error.

I’ve been using the facial roller for a month now despite originally thinking of it as a gimmick. Im mid 40’s and my skin has fortunately always been very good but after about 10 days I noticed a renewed plumpness to my skin.

Around the same time I was told my skin had a ‘glow’ about it. I can only attribute this to the microneedling. For which I am now convinced. I’ve been using with The Ordinary’s Buffet serum.

Very light, cheap plastic. I expected something better. Also not sure that just spraying the micro needles with alcohol is enough to sterilise them. After giving it a try a couple of times, I have decided not to use it anymore.

It is painless though.

It is not painful. It is not difficult to use. It does however feel cheap as it’s literally made out of plastic and I just cannot understand the cult status associated with this. Invest in good skincare and stick to a proper diet, these tools are a waste of time.
