Best Depth And Table For Round Diamond (2024 Updated)

We were looking for a replacement for our mahogany breakfast table. I wanted something white with interesting lines and sturdy. This table is off-white, which I knew from reviews, but it is so close to white it still works well with my white cabinets and gray chairs.

I really like it! Assembly was easy but I would suggest adding a little wood glue and having a socket wrench. That little wrench they supplied does not adequately tighten the nuts. Additionally, because some reviews mentioned the top scratching, I put a glass table top on it.

We already owned one and figured better safe than sorry.

I bought the 28†white faux marble with white base and am extremely pleased. I have real marble side tables and was worried that this faux would look cheap, but it is incredibly beautiful like a polished marbled.

It was meticulously packed and easy to assemble. As instructed, I put the marble top on a thick rug for assembly so that it would not get scratched. I am pleased with the solid weight of the table; I can barely move the table around.

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the sinking sensation in my gut when I read the warning label in the bottom of the faux marble concerning birth defects and cancer. Should I not let anyone sit at the table? Should I not eat a piece of food that falls on the table? Should I not let someone touch the table? Am I putting myself and friends at risk by using this table? If this is such a serious threat to our health, why the heck does our government allow it to be sold in our country?.

Putting this together takes immense strength and more than 15mins the instructions state. In addition to this, once we finally put it together, we find the table isn’t straight. We put a level on to make sure and yes, the stand isn’t level making the entire table skewed.

It’s embarrassing and I wouldn’t want to invite friends round to see a skewed table. Otherwise, it looks lovely. This is the 3rd item of furniture we have bought online that has failed dramatically. Alot of people somewhere are clearly not doing quality control.

This oval table looks fun and sleek, but is also extremely sturdy and stable. The metal stem is flawless, there is heavy metal inside the circular base, and a non-slip rubber pad covering the entire bottom.

So the table doesn’t wiggle or slide around, that’s important for a small dining table like this. The top attaches with four large hex head bolts. The top and base arrived separately, very well packed, lots of rigid foam and cardboard protection.

This is everything I wanted and more! It is just so beautiful! Even prettier than the pictures. It is very sturdy/well-made. I was worried it would be more cream colored and the chairs would be a deeper beige, but the table is white and the chairs are very light beige.

It looks amazing! I also love that the leaf folds up inside/under the table! I thought I would have to find a storage area for the pieces. Couldn’t be happier!.

Exceeded my expectations. The chairs are comfortable and this is a heavy table. Love it! I want the bench!

Save yourself the headache. I put have this in may. I was told it wouldn’t be shipped til 4-6 weeks after July 23 lol. Welp it’s been 4-6 weeks and they still don’t have it ready to be shipped to me.

Gotta cancel.

I bought this dining table in November. It took a while to be delivered, but it was worth the wait. It’s a gorgeous table. It’s a little darker than I thought it would be, but it’s perfect for the dining area.

It’s very heavy and of great quality. We’re not going to cover it with a tablecloth because the top is beautiful. The nailhead adds to the attractiveness. It came after the projected delivery date. It was packaged very well and in perfect condition.

Assembly was quite easy. It’s very heavy as said before, so two persons are needed to lift it. All the necessary tools for assembly were included. Overall, a good experience with this purchase.

We just remodeled our kitchen, breakfast nook, and great room, which are all part of the same big area in our house. As a part of the renovation we also converted our formal dining room into a reading room.

Since our breakfast nook and island seating will be our only eating spaces I wanted to maximize the number of people we can seat. I also wanted our breakfast nook to have a fun, casual feel so we had an L-shaped banquette built in.

The Decker table sits in the middle of it. It easily accommodates 2 people on each side of the L, along with 3 separate chairs, gives me exactly the eating space I was looking for. I ordered the wood cleaner that Room and Board sells and spray and wipe after every meal to clean the wooden table top.

We also use placemats, coasters, and trivets to protect the surface. I ordered the gray wood finish and love the way it looks. It looks more like a gray stain rather than gray paint, allowing the wood grain to show.

I appreciated that there were so many combinations of colors and finishes on the base and the tabletop. In the photo I included, the wooden banquette seats are missing because we’re having cushions made.

#sweepstakes; This is a beautiful table! We especially like it that the table top attaches to the base. Room and Board offers several tables where the top merely rests on the base and that seems less desirable.

The base has cement fill in it which makes the table quite heavy but we are able to move it in our dining space as needed. The base of the table came with a caved in area. R & B said to keep the table and use as is while the new base is being shipped.

That is nice. After using the table for a day, we contemplated returning the top for the wider (and longer) size. Our table top is 37 inches wide with a base that is 22 inches wide (or close to that, don’t know exactly as I am writing this) and that does not allow sufficient foot space to be truly comfortable.

Ultimately we decided to keep it because it fit our space well and after a few days we got used to coping with placement of our feet. It would be awesome if the design team could make the base more narrow in width in the future.

It is a wonderfully beautiful and functional table, other than foot space concerns, and we are very happy to have it in our home.

I bought the 54 inch Decker table in spalted sugarberry and am quite happy with it. I am waiting on an exchange of the Afton chairs (for white oak) as I bought maple, and they have a bit of a pink tinge, which does not go with this table.

See photos. The bottom of the table is extremely heavy so there is no worry about tipping. There is no wobbling, but there is an adjustment tool enclosed, in case of uneven floors. This size table easily seats 6.

I have previously owned an Aria table, which I loved, but I didn’t like having to put my feet on the table structure. This Decker is great. Room & Board has been great, despite me making multiple changes in my order.

The customer service personnel in Dallas and on the phone are always friendly, supportive, and efficient.

The color is beautiful. The shape is beautiful. It works well in our space. However, it did arrive with several small surface scratches on the legs and a large gash on the tabletop that is very noticeable.

I will try the touch-up kit and hopefully, that helps. If not, I am going to get a runner. Which I feel takes away from the beauty of the grain of the table :(. They did offer to replace the top, however, waiting 2 weeks for delivery, taking apart the table, and then reassembling does not appeal to me at all.

On a positive note, I paired these with black chairs.

I looked at countless tables before choosing this one. We thought we could repurpose our existing table, with a little stain or paint, to go with the Article chairs that fit this table. But, that didn’t work, so we did order the table.

We haven’t had a round table in 35 years, but decided to try it. We love it. The only thing I could say negative is that my husband is a heavy leaner. Therefore, the table creaks and moves just enough to be annoying.

One side of the table attachment seems to be just a bit loose. It has to be the holes that were drilled, for the hardware. I’ve tightened the hardware as much as I dare. Overall, I just love the table.

We opted to put a flannel-backed vinyl elastic edged cover over the table, to preserve the top. I throw a colorful tablecloth over it, and we’re pleased with the effect. There will be times when we do showcase the top (which is very pretty), but that wasn’t our main concern for daily use!.

this table looks great and fits perfectly in my small(ish) dining area. I followed the assembly instructions perfectly, twice. It is impossible to get the tables tighly secured. The top almost swivels at this point.

I am constantly trying to repair this table. It’s such a shame as I really do love the way it looks. I got a couple of years out of it and don’t want to see it go. But i would not recommend this to anyone.

Very disappointed in this table. While it is heavy and sturdy, the edges of the marble were all chipped up. This appears to be a manufacturing issue as you can tell many of the chips were attempted to be filled in.

However, the compound used wasn’t a good match. Other areas they tried to sand out some of the chips, but this only changed the sheen on the edges, and affected the overall roundness of the table. Returning.

I love this table! The marble top is genuine, sealed, and gorgeous. After a year i had an issue with the base- who knew this type of metal could crumble like a cookie! When I called target they directed me to the manufacturer because the warranty was long over, and Carolina Chair and Table Company was fantastic – they sent me a replacement piece (the base is three super heavy pieces) without charge.

I have since spray painted the base gold and the table looks amazing. Well worth the price. And props to the amazing customer service of the manufacturer.

This table came with so much damage we could barely take it out of the packaging. The top was cracked through in multiple places and the base wasn’t painted evenly. Large spots where paint was missing.

I’m not sure how to package it up for the return!!!!.

Love the quality of the wood and finish of this piece but the hard ware failed us on both the clamps to snug the leaf and the actual screws to attach to the mantle. Customer service did assist to try to recify the issue.

At this time the resolution is pending.

I find it inviting to dine in this Corsica collection. It is simple yet tough. The chairs with its upholstered seat and back are soft to sit on and its height is a perfect fit with the table which makes dining comfortable.

This is a very lovely dining table.

I do love the table appearance-wise. It us the perfect shape and color I was looking for. My one issue is that of stability. It wobbles, a lot, which gets progessively worse over time. I have turned the thing upside down three times now to tighten the attaching screws, but there is something I can’t get right in the shelf, which provides the majority of the wobble (and hence, stability).

It is a unique piece — if you’ve gotten to the point of reading reviews, it’s what you’re looking for. Overall, I am happy I purchased it (although I would like to be able to find the chairs the picture is paired with).

Nice table, pretty, but not very sturdy. Biggest issue is that it’s only 47 inches, but specifications say 48 inches. Ordered glass to cover it and had to return it and paid large return shipping charge as a result of this miss quote.

Overall, I like it now. However, when I first received it – I went to pick it up from the store – I was really disappointed. The legs/base were not a shiny gold color like was depicted in the pictures that I saw.

The legs/base are rather a dull brass color. So, I almost just rolled it right back to the store without even putting it in my car. However, I thought I’d give it a try by putting it in my office as I had planned.

I’m glad that I did. In spite of its lack of shiny luster that I had expected, the piece looked great in place. This small table took the place of a traditional wood side table. Just switching out that one piece of furniture made a huge difference in the room.

The room became lighter and brighter by replacing the wood side table with this smaller marble top side table. The addition of this more modern/’in” piece was great. The quality is ok. The quality problems are that : there were little scratches on the wire legs, and its possible to see where the craftsmanship is Not that of a nice piece of furniture ( small blobs of coating and some small areas of darker coloring/discoloration).

It is unlikely that others coming into my office will examine the table and notice these things. Thus, all in all, for the price its a Lot of look- and its a good look. The marble top is fine, no problems, no negatives ( its a nice white marble color).

The table is beautiful but came delivered is 4 pieces in a very large crate and a lone delivery man. he could barely get it to my garage and left it and all the crating material. It took 4 people to get it in the house and then I had to hire someone to haul off the crating material.

But I love the table!.

This easily could have been 5 stars except the slide to extend the table was broken upon arrival. We need this asap so we did not contact the manufacturer. My husband made a quick fix. This has been a great table that we have had now for almost 2 years.

With the table extended we have sat 10 people for a formal dinner. I love that this table is counter height. Do note that the surface is not smooth if that is what you are looking for. This is a “weathered “ look.

We have had no issues with with surface scratches.

Top of table wood planks are not smooth and are uneven in surface. So glasses can easily tumble/spill due to uneven surface of the table top. This is basic requirement for a dinning table and should have been caught in basic inspection before delivery.

Now I am stuck with this new expensive table.

I just received the living room set, delivered first thing in the morning! I am so excited, amancio set is amazing! Very good quality, looks so elegant with my antique choice of style! Worth the wait! I got what i paid for.

This table look absolutely beautiful, nice modern design, I bought the 87 inch , but I think that looks small for me specially this one has a width of 45 inch, so I recommend to buy the 106 inch which looks more propionate with length and width aspect.

The table top arrived damaged but they were willing replace it without any hesitation but only negative thing is the long wait time for shipping and delivery. And I recommend to use a clear glass top as the table top by itself may get easily damaged with dents and marks specially if you have kids at home.

The Greenwich 55” Dining Table fit my dining room better than imagined. My dining room is small but open and I needed a table for up to 8 people. It sits eight comfortably and with the open base the table does not overwhelm the room.

The lines of the table are sleek and the shape makes it unique. Love it. Would definitely recommend.

We are so in loved with our new dining set. I was very skeptical because I have never ordered any furniture from Target. Also I love to look at reviews prior to ordering anything. I was searching for a long time and this set was my number 1 choice so I took a chance and ordered it.

The shipping was fast and I got the product delivered in one week. Also once it’s out for delivery they will inform you of a 2 hour window on when they will deliver it. It took my husband and I 2 hours to put it together.

My only complaint is I wish the extended table pieces was able to be stored underneath the table when it’s not being used. So we had to store them in our garage when its not being used. But overall we love our new dining set.

I bought this about 2 months ago and I am in love! The color is so pretty, it is a deep brown and the finish is beautiful! The padding on the chairs is so comfortable and easy to clean. Beautiful piece of furniture!.

The delivery guys were awesome (Oscar and Frank). One chair has a chip and the table has a chip on the base. I will call Sam’s and take care of it. It just got delivered. ordered it two weeks ago. I will update the review after using it.

Beautiful Sturdy Table. Looks even better in person. I had been looking for a large round dining table for our large family and couldn’t be happier with our purchase. Surface is really easy to clean and I was surprised by the quality for this price.

The table is large enough to sit our family of eight. The only issue we have is only 4 chairs can be slid under the table when it is not in use because of the cross supports underneath.
