20 Best Deodorant For Teen Boys (2023 Updated)

I gave this as a Christmas present to my granddaughter. She is starting to become a tween is just starting to need a little something to help with the BO that comes with developing hormones. This fit the bill.

I love that there aren’t any nasty chemicals in it. She loves the smell. It encourages her to use it! This one works and also has sweet smell that is not so over powering.

Initially I purchased this for my 11 year old son. He loves the way it smells. He says he smells like candy now instead of sweaty. He’s getting to that age where he’s becoming more aware of his body changing.

I actually took a liking to it as well so now I buy one for each of us. It lasts for the whole day and I appreciate that there aren’t any harmful chemicals going into my body.

Purchased for my 8 yo daughter who only minimally has odor after a really busy day, but am encouraging her to master personal hygiene early and this deodorant makes its easy! She loves the smell so much; she wanted to bring it with us on a recent vacation over her usual travel size deo.

She’s even tempted to rub it on her wrists as a “perfume. ” I love that it’s natural and am tempted to use it myself!.

Keeps my son smelling fresh throughout the day. I’m teaching him to swipe up, down and up again on each armpit. When he uses a tiny amount it doesn’t work, but when he puts on the right amount, he smells great all day! Love that it isn’t an antiperspirant – we shouldn’t inhibit sweating at this age.

Each bottle lasts a long time, but I usually buy a backup. Please continue making this – the price and product are wonderful.

My son is only 5, but he does jiu-jitsu and boxing and already gets stinky body odor! I was so pleased to find an aluminum-free, vegan product that actually works. It’s perfect as a roll-on, so he can put it on by himself.

Smells similar to Irish Spring, but definitely a “boy scent” -per his request. Perhaps the best part of all. It is cruelty free and that’s something important to us as an animal-hugging vegan family.

The product was packed well and quick delivery. It smells good and my 9. 5 years old twins really liked the smell. The best part is “it works”. My boys enjoy outdoor playing and Texas heat in summer one can smell terrible.

I have been using pretty frank for a very long time! Back when they were still only primal pit paste. I love the smell and that other people often comment on the nice way I smell as well. It helps to keep me dry.

It is easy to apply. One jar lasts quite a long time because you don’t need a whole lot. It feels great on my skin, and I love that it is safe, natural ingredients. I’ve tried other natural deodorant and it just isn’t that great.

It doesn’t small as nice or work as well. I also love the other products. But I just can’t live without my lavender baking soda Pretty Frank deodorant!.

As a cancer survivor, it’s important to me that I use brands that I trust. It’s equally important that those brands WORK! I started using pretty Frank deodorant (baking soda formula, lavender scent) nearly 6 years ago now (when it was primal pit paste!) and I refuse to use any other brand.

I love the easy application, the natural lavender scent, and the effectiveness! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to give natural deodorant a go. I started using in the winter time because there is a “detox” period your pits must undergo.

I have been using a more natural deodorant for many years so I bought this for my son. He just starting needing deodorant and I wanted him to have something that was a bit more playful since he is on the younger side.

The scent and packaging are great for younger kids. Unfortunately, the texture was off. I found it very sticky and cakey. After we put it on he asked to take it off and change his shirt because of the gooey texture.

We will have to throw it away!.

I purchased this for my 6 year old son and decided to try it myself. My first opinion was like the others in regards to the grit and the waxiness but with a little more research and deductive reasoning, I decided to take time to massage it in the armpit and if I still felt grit, I took a warm wash cloth and wiped it lightly.

I did both his and mine at the same time and we had/hav no complaints. I am an adult who can not where deodorant, I’ve tried everything and they all burn or break me out but this one here doesn’t. This product is the true definition of natural and I thank you for it.

this scent was what originally got me hooked on these deodorants. it was discontinued for awhile and now it’s back!!! I love it bc it is so subtle. this deo makes a nice sort of protective film on you skin and it truly fights odor.

Movie Night smells awesome when I put it on, and I still smell great after a workout or long night at work. I don’t have any irritation with this formula and I have been using natural deodorants for a few years.

This is one of the most effective that I have found and it doesn’t seem to stain my clothes. I’ll definitely buy this scent again and may try others next time, too!.

I tried perhaps 20 different brands of deodorants. Until i discovered Lavilin! I am in love! Doesnt leave marks when applying, however give it 2-3 min to set. During the day if you sweat does not leave stains on the clothes.

Does not transfer on clothes during the day, does not change their color( those yelloe stains on white fabrics). Smell is so feminine and light! I love it! My favourite smell is Sport ( smells roses to me ) and i recently tried Teen ( also very nice smell).

I found my favourite brand of bio deodorants.

I have used other Lavilin products including the roll on and the cream. I purchased this because it seemed more convenient. However, it doesn’t provide adequate protection. It actually created a worse smell than not using anything at all.

I won’t ever waste my money on another deodorant. I am a self professed “Stinky Hungarian Girl” I come by it naturally lol I have spent ridiculous sums of money trying every product on the market. NOTHING works like Lavilin.

Hands down took my away my stink and there are zero yellow stains on my white shirts. So happy I decided to spent the money and take the chance!.

So for some background, I have been using Natives Coconut Vanilla deodorant for a few years now love it. It’s the only all natural deodorant that I’ve found that keeps me smelling fresh all day long.

I’ve been using it consistently for almost 3 years now haven’t looked back since. With that being said, when I went to Target last time to repurchase it, they were completely sold out in the Coconut Vanilla scent — even the plastic free packaging was sold out.

So I needed to find another scent from them that I liked enough to get me by until that one was restocked. I ended up deciding to go with the Oat Milk Latte scent and wasn’t expecting to love it as much as my tried true.

But I’m so pleased to say that I love this scent so much more than I was expecting too! The scent notes are clove, creamy chocolate sandalwood according to the website I adore the way this one smells! This doesn’t smell like straight up chocolate at all despite that being one of the main notes, so don’t let that scare you away.

It’s just sweet enough but by no means overbearing in the sweet category. The clove sandalwood balance it out so incredibly well. This specific scent is part of Native’s Vintage Collection, so I’m not sure if this is permanent but I pray that it is.

And if it isn’t, I pray they will make it permanent because it’s so much better than a lot of their permanent scents (with exception to the Coconut Vanilla. ) So now, I think I love this scent just as much as I love the CV! So happy I decided to go with this one definitely will continue to purchase as long as it’s available.

Highly recommend Native deodorant across the board if you are looking for the best natural option. This brand has yet to disappoint me I’ve turned so many of my friends family onto this brand. While I definitely highly recommend this scent the CV scent, I think regardless of the scent that you choose you will be more than satisfied.

I always purchase from Target, but they do have a website that you can order from just in case your preferred scent is sold out in stores you have the time to wait for shipping.

First impression, man when i tell you how much i wanted to throw away this deodorant and go back to my aluminum one so badly. I couldn’t stand the body odor and the profuse sweating it was killing me!! BUT, i kept trying because i had heard good things and i have very sensitive skin, and using deodorants with bad chemicals was giving me skin irritations that were horrendous.

I developed a cyst in my armpit as well and it was enormously painful. SO, i kept trying. I would use this deodorant if i was staying home or only going out for a short bit, and use my regular 48hr aluminum deodorant (i hate sweating) if i was going out.

I was told it would take 2 weeks for my body to acclimate to the deodorant, sweat normally, and not stink. IT TOOK 2 MONTHS. needless to say, i was losing hope. I routinely had to put napkins in my armpits, and probably reapply this stuff every 2 hours to keep myself smelling clean.

It took a month or so for the excessive sweating to stop and go back to a normal bearable amount, never sweat in my life like that but i imagine stopping the use of constant antiperspirant sent my body into disarray.

And 2 months for the smells to actually stick and for the deodorant to last all day!! Now i barely sweat AT ALL with this deodorant (only 2-3 applications daily). I sweat if i workout (duh) and if it’s super hot or I’m nervous but i just use a napkin to dry up lol.

THE BEST PART! My sweat doesn’t smell bad anymore! So i don’t mind the mild sweating because it smells like vanilla!! It took 3 months for that to happen, before that my sweat when it did appear did not smell pretty, but after consistent use, it’s as though my body in general smells better naturally.

I rub it on my armpits twice or thrice upwards then downwards when i get out of bed, and then once before a workout if some hours have passed, and then before i sleep sometimes too if it’s been a while since the last app.

THIS MIGHT SOUND LIKE A LOT BUT, it lasts forever. Even with constant use like that every day for months, it takes me a year or more to go through ONE of these things. So, I’m not upset about it. I had to get a new deodorant every 3 months before because eventually it would stop working as well, but i haven’t had that problem with this.

CONCLUSION- IF YOURE DETERMINED TO GO NATURAL, GIVE THIS A FAIR SHOT. Try it for a month or two before finalizing your decision. And if you need to, use a regular aluminum deodorant on the times you really need to protect your pits, it doesn’t reset the process, not for me anyway.

If you’re not willing to wait 1-3 months for this stuff to work as perfectly as possible, then i would pass on this. I love it though, IT ALSO SMELLS SO GOOD! My boyfriend loves it and so do i (no he didn’t smell my pits, just the stick).

I’ve only tried coconut and vanilla, and one called cookie something ? Both smelled amazing, the cookie one was seasonal i think. Christmastime. And i prefer it but the coconut vanilla is good too and smells clean!.

If you haven’t spent 4-6 weeks detoxing your pits prior to switching to a natural deodorant you will hate this & any other natural, aluminum free deodorant available. You will HAVE to reapply it several times during the day, you’ll sweat, you’ll smell yourself…and you’ll blame the product instead of yourself.

YOU HAVE TO DETOX YOUR PITS IN ORDER TO BENEFIT FROM A NATURAL DEODORANT and it takes 4-6 weeks to do it, using a charcoal detox deodorant at night & natural repeatedly during the day OR repeatedly using a natural throughout the day.

There is no way around it. Once your pits are detoxed you can use a natural deodorant once daily. That said…I’ve used numerous natural deodorants and this by far, in Lavender Rose, is my favorite. It smells lovely, works really well & doesn’t leave a residue on my clothing.

The price point is about right too and definitely worth a try. Side note: many reviewers appear to NOT KNOW the difference between an antiperspirant & deodorant by virtue of their complaints. If you don’t want to sweat then DO NOT buy a deodorant or natural deodorant; buy an antiperspirant…that contains aluminum & baking soda.

There are NO natural antiperspirants on the market.

This has been my deodorant of choice for many years. Beware of one problem though: If the lid is not on tightly, the deodorant gel will have evaporated around the edges, making it fall out of the cylindrical casing instead of advancing as it is used.

If I buy off the shelf, I check the cap for tightness before buying. When buying on line, I can’t. I just bought four on line; two had loose caps and this defect. While the defective units can still be used, it is less convenient – and less deodorant, too.

I started using this Brut deodorant back in high school decades ago, and continued to use it up until about 8 years ago. I didn’t even know if they still made it or not, because it used to be given to me at Christmas time as a gift set that came with the deodorant, and also a bottle of splash on lotion.

I threw away my new, old stock, Right Guard, because it had the ingredient TRICLOSAN in it. The FDA banned that ingredient due to health hazards according to Google, so i didn’t want to take a risk and continue using it.

Product was not what I expected. the picture shows the aerosol can version of this deodorant which my husband prefers. The description states it is the stick version. I take partial responsibility for not reading the description; however, it is conflicting information that the picture does not match the product.

Im so glad I took a chance on this one. Ive been using natural deodorants for about 2 years now. I was stuck on using the Raw sugar brand. It made me smelly really good, but as long its before bed and not for moving around during the day, but for my least active days, I was okay with it.

Ive been using play pits queen deodorant for about a week, and I can say its been tested and tried, but it works amazing on me. Ive taken walk breaks at work and usually, Im ready to go home and shower.

Its pretty hot here in florida, and I can tell you this has passed with flying colors. I never smell musty wearing this deodorant and I smell great through the day. Im going to stock up on this deodorant because I found my match.

It hasn’t disappointed me since wearing it. My clothes still smell like it, fresh and clean, after Ive taken my shirt off. Its a nice scent, and it lingers softly. I haven’t seen that it stains my clothes like others stated and Ive worn white t shirts.

Im not a fan of the slightly gritty wet texture, but once it dries, its perfect!! I needed this in my life. Ive regained my confidence, being a natural deodorant wearer.

This product eventually works! In the beginning (first day or two)the smell reminded me of syrup. Not a bad smell though. It definitely is a little on gritty side given the ingredients. It’s thick and really you only need 1 to 1 1/2 swipes per arm.

I read other reviews prior to purchase, and also notice my arms do not smell into the next morning after a few days of use without applying the night before. I could not do this with other natural or aluminum brands.

I definitely wash again the next morning and reapply once for the day. I haven’t noticed any irritation from use. I feel supported!.

I’ve never found a natural deodorant that lasts as long as this stuff. Normally I’d have to reapply a natural stick deodorant at least once in a day, but this stuff I put on once, and the next day it’s still fine.

It’s a very small tub, but because you don’t have to use a lot, it lasts quite a long time. I bought the batch I have 2 months ago, and I’m still not close to running out of it. Smells great too, and not in an overpowering way, as patchouli can be sometimes.

I discovered this deodorant at my local health food store a few years back and have never been happier over a personal care product. I have tried spice, citrus and patchouli. All of them keep me fresh all day.

The pot lasts for months, and it is recyclable, so no guilt about tossing out a big stick deodorant casing. Patchouli is my favourite, and no one has come after me about using a men’s scent on a woman’s underarms!.

I love this deodorant! It’s the only natural deodorant that will keep me fresh for over 24 hours. Not just this scent, but all the scents work great in my opinion, though my favourite is the Men’s Patchouli (I’m a woman.

whatevs!). This scent is my husband’s favourite, and it’s the only brand of deodorant that doesn’t cause him skin irritation. I would watch out if you’re sensitive to essential oils though, as there are lots in this product.

It does take some getting used to applying it with your hands and I find I have to mix it with a stick each time to mix the essential oils back into the rest of the product as they tend to sit on top.

But it’s worth it for the effectiveness.

Bought this deodorant for my son bc of the clean products and no aluminum. Was so surprised by the clean fresh scent. He smells so wonderful and not fruity and definitely not like a grown man’s cologne which I personally did NOT want.

It’s a little stronger when first out on but quickly fades. He’s and athlete and it Keeps the teen age funk at bay all day. METHOD, Please do NOT ever stop selling lime&bergamot.

Great smell. Easy to apply. Small convenient size. But it did leave an offwhite stain almost like a sweat stain. I washed my white shirt and it still shows stain shadow. Anyone else experience this? It was disappointing as I was told this is aluminum free deodorant with no possible after effects for stains to be occurring.
