20 Best Deodorant For Allergic Skin (2023 Updated)

Quick basics: Wonderful scent Smooth, solid texture Happy skin after 3 weeks (not daily use) No cons, other than typical natural product price I am loving this stuff! I have tried a few other natural deodorants in the past.

I adore fresh citrus scents, and this one does not disappoint! Unlike another brand with a good lime scent, this is smooth and so far my skin is happy! I also tried a lime from a popular brand with amusing commercials, and I swear they thought I wanted BO in a lotion-like form, rather than DEodorant! It’s AWFUL.

Another natural brand I tried uses alchohol as a base. The scent is good. but with just spring temps (northern Utah) I started to REEK after just a couple of hours! I tried samples of Pretty Frank last year, and liked it, so I came back! Currently, I haven’t been using it every day, as it’s not been very warm, and I haven’t been out of the house much, but it’s definitely working.

I thought people were nuts when they said natural deodorant actually made them less smelly/damp–but I think they were right! I DO certainly get stinky, but it’s not like the old days when I wore antiperspirant but missed a day.

I also don’t feel like I soak a shirt like back then, even WITH a regular antiperspirant.

I am very happy to have found this product. I was using Native with baking soda deodorant previously. I began having an allergic reaction from Native with a bad breakout of rash. I found that strange.

With a little research, I found out a mega corporation had bought out Native. I compared the ingredients from an older deodorant and it had changed. Pretty Frank is a clean product, as advertised. I’m quite happy with the product and I will continue to buy it.

Clean products are getting more difficult to find with large corporations are buying out small businesses who sell clean and organic products.

I absolutely love pretty frank baking soda deodorants! I use the kind with an applicator as opposed to the kind that you apply with your fingers, and it is fantastic. I’m currently using Jasmine scented, but I also really love all their other scents as well.

I am extremely sensitive to so many different body products (not just chemically based ones, but also all natural ones), but I have no issues with the baking soda deodorants. Oddly enough, I have had a reaction to their non-baking soda deodorants, but not these.

On top of that, these WORK! Even after spending entire days out in the sun, working out, etc. – no odor whatsoever. Thanks for great products that are truly clean, Pretty Frank!.

I was so thrilled to find this as an option for a natural and safe deodorant and hair and body product. The packaging is lovely – the kind of thing you actually want sitting out decorating your bathroom or vanity shelves instead of clunky and cheap throw-away plastic bottles.

The scents are simply amazing! I thought the rose would unquestionably be my preference, and I adore it, but I have been so pleased with each of the samples I bought that I will likely continue to use all of them in rotation.

The powder actually works as an under-arm deodorant for me while a little sprinkling in the hair keeps it from looking greasy if it goes unwashed, and I find that just a little bit of the powder goes a long way which is nice for the longevity of the product.

I live in the south, where it gets hot and humid and it can get difficult to feel pulled-together throughout the day when it is so disgusting out; I love that this works as an option to keep from feeling sticky and gross every day.

I just couldn’t be happier with this, and will definitely be repeat purchasing in the future! Very much a safe and effective product that has functionality and also such a luxurious feel to it. Five stars all around!.

I ordered the rose, lemon, and lavender scents. Out of the three this was my favorite, though I wasn’t surprised as rose is one of my favorite scents. The scent is that of a pure red juicy rose. If you are partial to rosewater or oils, you will love this.

That said – the scent is not cloying or overpowering in any way once applied. It’s subtle and won’t overpower your perfumes or those around you. It’s very delicate. For everyday use I think it’d be great though I’d probably be tempted to reapply mid-day or afternoon – though I am not sure if that is necessary.

It is quite the feminine experience to apply with the soft wispy puff and I do love the experience. Packaging is also quite spot on and beautiful, yet simple. I will say that sadly I did lose quite a bit of my rose powder in the box during shipping because it appears the sticker over the mesh came loose at some point, but not sure if anything could be done to improve that.

Other than that though it’s lovely deodorant and body powder. Great for summer to keep all of those steamy parts dry and un-chafey. I am not sure I would trust this one right before a run or workout, but I might give it a try for science.

I love Old Hollywood Glamour. I remember my grandmother using dusting powder with a big fluffy pouf and she always smelled amazing, so I wanted to indulge a bit of nostalgia when I bought my first Madame Lemy body powder.

The packaging and pouf are beautiful and the rose powder smells wonderful. There is no “fake” rose smell and it is very classy and understated. I have very dry, sensitive and eczema prone skin, so I am very careful about what ingredients I put on my skin.

I’ve often become irritated from commercial deodorants and anti-perspirants. I’ve tried sticks, roll-ons, sprays. the whole kit and kaboodle! Madame Lemy’s powder is wonderful! It does not irritate my skin, provides a nice clean scent to my body and prevent odor and wetness without turning into a cakey, sticky mess as other powders do.

I will definitely be ordering refills and also giving as gifts!.

Great smell, combats the WORST bo!!! Goes on smooth and best of all, it’s invisible!!! Highly recommend this one!

OMG this stuff actually works. I feel like I have tried every. single. natural deodorant out there and I cannot believe this limited ingredient, inexpensive spray is the one that tops them all. I usually smell TERRIBLE, for some reason my odour is a garlic/onions smell LOL, and this stuff makes me smell like nothing.

When I feel myself start to sweat, I’m thinking, “oh no, now I’m going to smell bad,” but when using this stuff, I honestly smell like nothing. The lavender scent it light and kind of musky, but doesn’t last.

If you are struggling to find something that actually works, try this, you won’t be disappointed! I use a spray or two after showering and the a couple rolls of Rocky Mountain Soap Co. Tea Tree Liquid Crystal Deodorant.

Lasts all day for me! Sometimes I reapply if I’ve gone for a run or the gym.

Been using for years. Recently annoyed at that the spray seems to get clogged so I’m glad I have an old bottle I just keep pouring new ones into. Lasts 4-5 days in winter and 3-4 in summer, if sprayed on after a shower and a little spray added to the underarm of a garment, too.

Without that last bit, lasts 2-3 days, depending on activity level. Love it, wish it came in a much larger format.

This is brilliant! Works as well as if not better than a chemical deodorant. Two sprays under each arm. rub it in with my hand. Drys quickly. The unscented has no smell at all which I love. If you are moving from a chemical deodorant remember that there will be a transition period and you have to stick that out.

but it’s worth it. The aluminum in chemical deodorant works by blocking the sweat glands from working. For two or three weeks you’ll be extra smelly and damp while the sweat glands kick in and get rid of built up toxins.

After that you’re good to go. Dr. Mist kept me odor free and relatively dry even during extreme summer heat and hot flashes.

I had my misgivings about a body wash in the Alyssa Ashley musk scent, but I have to say this is spot on as far as fragrance is concerned. I wanted this to go with the body and hand lotion, the deodorant and the perfume oil i purchased to layer the scent so it lasts longer.

Every high end parfum house should make quality products like this to go with their scents. Why bother to use a wash, and wear deodorant and lotion that competes with your scent of choice Why use the harsh body washes and lotions that cause me problems that are scented like your favorite high end perfume when they could actually produce them the way fine skin care products are made much like this body wash I cant tell you how many times I used products made expressly to go with my more expensive perfumes, only to get bad skin reactions and the feeling of chemical burns so far that has not happened with THIS body wash.

Most of those high end perfumed body washes and lotions are no better than a dollar store product. This body wash so far is gentle, and I have no reaction. It seams more like high end than most of them.

I ordered the deodorant, too and the ingredients are the same as the effective deodorant i use that really keeps me dry and odor free. Yes, I love the Alyssa Ashley Musk i do prefer the vintage musk scent from the 70s but this body wash does smell more like the vintage oil and not the newer formulation.

I bought this product after seeing it in Walgreens. I have thick naturally curly hair that tends to end up dry a bit frizzy. First time using any product is always trial error. First time I used it, I errored big time.

Lol. I put it on my hair while still soaking wet didnt use my usual keratin oil I normally use when wearing my hair naturally curly. I straighten my hair most of the timejust easier to deal with Ended up kinda crunchy stiff.

I knew immediately I had used to much product. So I used my water bottle, rewet it a bit used my towel to squeeze some of the product out. Next time I used it, i squeeze dried my hair more, placed my oil on my hair waited a while then spritzed my hair with the Beach Babe.

I combed it through my hair to ensure even distribution flipped my head over scrunched it a bit. I didnt error this time. My hair looked fabulous My curls ended up defined yet soft, stayed frizz free throughout entire day it gets humid here in Tennessee the next morning my hair wasnt all crazed out.

Which my curly hair on normal mornings is normally just madness. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has curly, even just mildly wavy hair. Even my friends with super straight hair have loved it after me advising them on how to apply it.

I have been trying to find the perfect scent for years now, and I think this scent really meshes well with my body chemistry. It reminds me a lot of my boyfriends cologne, John Varvatos Artisan which is by far my favorite mens cologne.

They share similar notes like the citrus, jasmine, and woody amber and musk. However, Light Blue is more feminine and fresh which is why I love it so much. My perfume rotation includes Nanette Lepore, Michael Kors, DG LImperatrice, and Issey Miyake Leau DIssey Florale to give an idea of scents that work for me, but Light Blue is definitely my favorite.

This perfume is so easy to wear. It is a beautiful fruity floral scent that is light and fresh while still smelling sophisticated and not cheap. It opens up smelling very citrusy almost like orange blossom and then dries down to a more floralish scent.

I cant really describe the scent exactly, but it is very unique and unlike any other perfume Ive smelled. Perfect daytimesummertime scent, but Im sure I will be wearing this yearround 247 The only minor complaint I have with this perfume is that it is actually an eau de toilette not eau de parfum, so the scent does not last on me as long as I wish it would.

I will try layering this with the perfumed body lotion though and see how that works. Bottom line, this is exactly the kind of scent I have been searching for. Dont be turned off by the fact that this is such a popular and widelyworn perfume.

I bought this roll on for my husband as he has sensitive skin. So far he is happy! It applies easily and doesn’t stain any clothing. The best part is that it caters for people with sensitive skin and he hasn’t had any irritation after using it.

While travelling in Italy / Europe, I had left my deodorant / antiperspirant home. I could have swore I packed it in my travel bag. Anyways, I went to a pharmacy in Rome and browsed the shelves for something to use.

I came across this product and decided to give it a try. I like the fact that its clear, dries clear and no residue. Doesn’t feel tacky or leave a “ring” under your sleeve / arm pit area once you put on a dress or t-shirt.

there were 30 degrees outside (not that hot, to be honest), and it was a normal working day at the office. the effects were instantaneous: yet in the car to go work, i usually start sweat, but with this deodorant a magic happened! NO SWEATING! and the effect lasts all day long and more! but there is more: no bad smell! and not because it covers the smell with its Fragrance (it’s almost odorless).

I detoxed from normal deodorant using Native, so had already transitioned into toxin free, but was looking for a natural, plastic free brand in the UK and discovered this, and I absolutely love it! The smell is really fresh, the texture is lovely and feels like you’re moisturising your underarms, it dries dries really quickly and lasts all day.

The only downside is that it can rub off onto clothes as you’re putting them on, so you need to be a little bit careful if you’re wearing black! It also stings a tiny bit if I put it on immediately after shaving, so the sensitive version may be better for you if you’re prone to irritation.

I have tried a few natural deodorants that do not irritate my skin, do not leave stron smells on my clothes and dies not stain, as well as being a reasonably effective deodorant. This one seems to tick all those boxes.

Naturally is will not be quite as effective as a antiperspirant, but if you want no nasty chemicals, this is you best bet. Some may find rubbing in a cream not very convenient but I have no problems with this at all and seems to moisturise too.

I gave only 4 stars as I do think it is quite pricey for what how long it lasts which is probably Judy over a month, but as its the best one I have found so far, I will continue to purchase.
