Best Dental Plans For Braces (2024 Updated)

I can’t believe they get away with calling this a 35ct pack! They cut the sticks into little pieces! It’s five sticks just like you’d get at the orthodontist. Also the case is very hard to open, I’ll be transferring alllll 35 pieces to a different container.

At 77 years of age, and wearing a retainer, I really need this product especially for sleeping at night to keep my tongue from its attempt to remove that darn thing from my mouth. Gum brand, which I no longer can locate in any stores in my area, is the perfect relief and I am so very glad that I could locate it.

I love this “new” version with the tiny precut pieces.

I love this wax! It’s wonderfully thick so it is super easy to apply! Doesn’t melt with hot foods/drinks, doesn’t come off by itself until I brush my teeth, I really like the refreshing mint flavor! Amazing price! I’ve bought so many of these and will buy more while I have braces! 😀 10/10 recommend.

This product is an absolute life saver. Having braces can get very uncomfortable, especially after a tightening. My mouth would get cuts along side the cheeks but with this product, problem solved. Only problem I had was never being able to find a non flavored.

Product cleans my dental splint effectively. The price is very good and compares favourably with those bought in shops. The only niggle I have is that I cant leave the splint soaking all day, which I did with previous product I used.

The recommended soak time is no more than 15 minutes and I have forgotten about it on a few occasions. I have to say that a few hours in the solution doesnt seem to have caused any harm but I dont know if this would be an issue in the long term.

Overall, I would recommend this product.

My yearly supply came in four boxes (three month supply), each holding protective “sheets” of six tablets each. There are perforations between each tablet which are not all found to tear apart easily.

Each tablet does dissolve well with cold, warm, or hot water. I prefer this product rather than Efferdent or Polident which is much cheaper. I feel better that the tablets are specifically for reatainers ove dentures.

I prefer my retainers remain clear and not yellow, although I would only need to soak them for about 20 minutes and rinse well. The box does warn not to be used to those with an allergy to Persulfates, a known allergen.

Another precaution: do not soak wire appliances for more than 15 minutes.

AVOID, AVOID!!! NO stars review. After reading reviews I expected this product to work. Very disappointed. Does absolutely nothing! My retainers were barely tinged in a couple of places with a hardly noticeable gray shadow.

This product did nothing to remove. Worse yet it seems to have damaged the plastic, they feel sticky and smell like a chemical. total waste of money!.

I had a terrible time trying to take my retainers out with my bare fingers the first week I had it. I did try to use the OrthoKey, but I found the hook a little thick and was nervous about cracking my retainers.

The idea behind the OrthoKey did actually teach me how to get better at taking out my retainers though. The way my ortho had shown me to take out my retainers was to try and pop both sides at one time to take it off but that way is nearly impossible, especially when your retainers are new.

You really need to pop the seal on one side first and then go around loosening the seal on the rest of the retainer to take it off. It also can be easier to take off your retainers if you reach a little closer to your canines than all the way to the back of your mouth.

There is usually a “sweet spot” on either side of your retainers where it is easiest to pop the seal initially, but it takes some practice to find. Also, be careful that you aren’t putting too much pressure on one spot on your retainers to avoid cracking them.

The most common spot to crack your retainers is at the “hinge” near the canines because a lot of people pull their retainers on one side when they take them out.

I recently started Invisalign. I was growing both frustrated and discouraged over the fact that removing retainers was a struggle. After I cracked my first two sets, I researched alternative methods to removing retainers.

Let me just start off by saying I never write reviews. However, this little OrthoKey has changed my Invisalign journey. I have 25 attachments on my teeth, so getting my aligners out has been a nightmare.

I ordered the OrthoKey on a whim out of desperation, and I’m SO GLAD I DID. I bought the two pack, and I keep one in each case. It makes getting my aligners out MUCH less painful. even on the first few days of a new aligner!!! My orthodontist also told me to give up nail polish for the next year because it would chip while taking my aligners out.

Well, the OrthoKey saves my nails too! All around, I am so happy with this purchase, and also kind of upset that all orthodontists don’t give these out (or at LEAST tell you about them) when you get Invisalign.

Total game changer for me!!!.

I have been struggling with Tmj for a few years and this is why I seeked out an orthodontist. I first wanted the hidden brace but he convinced me that invisalign would work better for me due to my deep bite.

It was a learning curve to get used to but I am nearing the end of my treatment and I am very excited. It is not painful for me at least and I have been tracking great all the way through.

I did not like this product. The retainer container works great but the crystals make your aligners taste like chlorine/bleach for a long period of time after you put them back in your mouth.

These work great for soaking and cleaning your Invisalign. I use them every other day and soak for at least 15-20 minutes then follow up with brushing to remove any residue and then I can put them back in.

Great addition to the Waterpik unit. The brush attachment gives greater control as you guide the water around, and between, the teeth & gums. I then go on to do a clean with my electric toothbrush. The Waterpik definitely improves the health of your gums!.

I replace my orthodontic tips every 3 months because I have braces. I went to the dentist last week and he said my gums were extremely healthy. Thanks to these water flossers.

Great kit! My 2 yr old is afraid of anyone in a lab coat dentist/doctors. He won’t even allow anyone to look in his mouth without a fight. So any visits to the dentist are not successful. I purchased the kit to try and remove plaque that was beginning to stick to his teeth.

Why no one is talking about this? This kit is really helpfull, It helps you to maintain your dental hygiene on point. I use it and it helps me to prevent a lot of bad situations because my gums are really tricky.

A nice introduction to the power of what you eat and the health of your teeth and gums. We are so often told that once a cavity starts to form, or our gum health declines that there’s nothing we can do to turn that around.

But there is! Every new mother should read this to give their children the best start they can, and every other person should read this too!.

Thank you Dr. Lin for teaching us the recent origin for the need of wisdom teeth removal; the reversal of the medical community that now admits WE NEED FAT for good teeth and good health; we have until a child is about 12 years old to help that young child with crooked teeth straighten them out through an improved diet; sugar is NOT the only culprit; removal of wisdom teeth can be avoided with a correct diet; and most importantly thank you for teaching us cavities in the teeth are like the “canary in the coal mine,” warning our overall body’s health is failing and we need to take action through what food we eat not just through what fillings we get.

I personally saw crooked teeth straighten in 2 children without a dentist’s intervention!.

I ordered my upper and lower retainer in August. I took a week to get the molds. And about two weeks to get the retainers. The process of getting the mold was easy. Some people say they get their retainers back and they don’t fit right.

This is because they move the mold to much while its hardening. If you just press them on strait and don’t move at all then they will fit perfectly. Mine worked awesome!! I love them. My bottom did break but I’m a grinder.

I just reordered and they were very helpful and fast. I got the new stronger ones and hope they won’t break. The fact that they broke really isn’t a big deal sinse the ones I got from my orthodontist broke as well.

These are much cheaper and fit way better.

Was a relatively easy process and good price. Paid for rush service but took like 2 weeks to get it done b/c the first set of impressions weren’t good enough although they said based on a photo that they were.

Overall, satisified.

They send you the mold and it’s easy to use. It lasted a year and probably would have lasted longer if I took care of it better. I remember they sent a letter with my retainers stating they save your impression for up to a year so you can re-order.

I was worried they wouldn’t have it any more because it has been over a year but customer service was great and you pay pretty half the price for the next purchase. Anyways this would have cost be like over $200 at my dentist! So its sooo worth it!.

I have had Invisalign for a few months now and these crystals came in the box. I’m not a fan, I would much rather brush my aligners with a toothbrush and toothpaste.

Very easy to use. The Invisalign becomes very clean. I use it once a week. That’s enough.

I wanted to try temptooth because I need a implant on tooth 7, (top tooth next to front). Instead of buying a $1800 flipper, having a lisp because of the retainer connected to the flipper. (I do alot of communicating for work) i chose the $26 temptooth kit.

The process is simple and easy and really easy to form. 2 days wearing the tooth, my gums and tooth started getting irritated bc of air getting through and just something new being in my mouth. I had a toothache all day one day and I bought a $2 bottle of polygrip to help stick to my gums and tooth, after a few minutes of it being secure in my mouth my tooth ache was completely gone!! I have used one tooth I made for 4 days at the most before I felt like it needed to be changed out.

I also bought a metal nail file to get imperfections out. Yes the plastic is pretty white at first but after its in ur mouth it will fade and tint. With the polygrip and temptooth ive been to the club, I’ve ate hamburgers, tacos, I drink in it, I’ve slept with it, went on dates, meetings.

If I start to feel a toothache I put my tooth back In with the polygrip and it works wonders u will not even have to take anything for pain!! The swollen gums the phantom pains from the tooth all disappeared when the tooth is placed and stuck firmly in ur mouth as a tooth.

I rate temptooth 5 stars All together I’ve spent $32 dollars for temptooth, polygrip, nail file. And I dont have a lisp, retainer, or a constant mouth pain and I dont feel jipped by the dentist office.

Feels good fits good does good. I would recommend for anyone. I was suspicious about buying this but it really is worth the money and i dont regret my purchase.

I am so thankful for Temptooth. Years ago i volunteered for a case study for medication to treat my RA. One of the side effects was your teeth shrinking/breaking. And it did happen to me many teeth are bad and broken apart.

I have no insurance or money to fix them yet. I am very insecure and care about how i look. 3 missing teeth in the front is a very big deal. I am able to mold the temp tooth just like a real tooth. Nobody notices.

You can eat kiss and everything if you take your time and fit them into the hole perfectly. I am extremely greatful that there is something like this out there for people like me. Hopefully one day i will be able to get my teeth fixed.

And until then. Im not embarrassed to walk out of my house and smile.

My boyfriend usually wears a false tooth (attached to a dental plate). We live in different countries, so he recently flew to the US to meet my family and friends for the first time. A day or two into his visit, the tooth came loose from the plate while we were eating, and he accidentally SWALLOWED IT!!!! He was 2 days into a 3 week trip in a foreign country and facing the prospect of meeting my family with a missing tooth.

So we turned to the internet (of course!) and found this product. Two days later, Temptooth saved the day! The process of molding the tooth was pretty easy but it still took a few tries to get a good fit and shape.

Instead of heating the beads in hot water and then soaking them in tea to color it, we just softened them in hot tea to begin with. The first tooth came out a nearly exact color match to his other teeth, so even I had trouble spotting the imposter at a glance! No one else would have ever been able to tell there was a false tooth in the group from just looking.

Unfortunately, the tooth discolored rapidly (he did eat and drink with it in, so it wasn’t a surprising result). He ended up having to make a new one after about a week, so we decided not to use tea to stain the second one.

It was a little bright for the first couple of days, but it matched his other teeth soon after and lasted longer than the first one did. Overall, the product was delivered quickly, was easy to make after a bit of practice, and contained enough supplies to make several replacements.

I did take a star off for the quick rate of discoloration, but Temptooth quickly and easily solved a problem and allowed my boyfriend to enjoy his trip without added self-consciousness. I’d highly recommend this product to anyone in a similar situation.

These tools look to be well made and I even used one of them on my own teeth. I used a different one to scrape some tartar off my dog’s teeth. I only did a little at a time so he didn’t get upset. He seemed to take it well.

I brush his teeth several times per week but he still gets some tartar build-up on a couple back teeth. The last experience of having his teeth cleaned at the vet didn’t go so well. He was throwing up and had diarhhea the next day so I don’t want to go through that again.

My dog is quite old, and I am not willing to take the risk of putting her under anesthesia simply for teeth cleaning. The tartar is starting to build up a lot on her teeth, especially in back, and although I stepped up the brushing, we started noticing the accompanying bad breath.

This kit is fairly inexpensive, so I went ahead and got it. Then I watched several YouTube videos to learn what to do and what not to do. I allowed about a week to get my dog used to it. I’d lift her lip, put a tool near a tooth and move it carefully for a few seconds, then stop and give her a kibble.

Then I’d repeat. This also allowed me to figure out how to hold her lip up while manipulating the tool. Now I am actually applying some pressure and scraping, just for a few seconds at a time, with kibble rewards in between.

I’m a few weeks in and I have definitely removed some tartar. I get a little off each time, and I don’t want to push too hard and make my dog start resisting. There is so much buildup that I will never get it all off, but this is much better than doing nothing.

I just wish I had started sooner. I use two of the tools. I don’t use the mirror or the very pointy tool. My dog is very patient about cleaning as long as I work in short bursts. If you have a very wiggly or grumpy dog, I think it would be difficult.

Note that the instructions talk about humans, not dogs. My dog is a large German Shepherd so these tools are fine for her. Not sure about a tiny dog.

I recently had a no anesthesia tartar cleaning done for my pup. The build-up was horrendous and he’s only 2. tech said some dogs are genetically predisposed to build-up, and even $165 2x a year would put a strain on my fixed income.

He was wonderful during the cleaning, and I was so impressed I am ordering this so I can add some cleaning each time I trim his nails. Wish I had heard about this before my old girl passed from dental infection.

This is the best retainer cleaning product I have found for my Invisalign retainers. I had been using regular denture cleaner, and it was not cleaning them at all. Retainer Brite removed all of the buildup after three or four soakings.

Now they come out clean and clear after each soaking. I highly recommend Retainer Bright.

Works great! After using others to clean my Invisalign for years, switched after receiving free tablet from dentist. Purchased as will be using this exclusively going forward.

Fantastic product, great for teething. My daughter (30 months) still has a dummy for nighttime and we found she was easily chewing through normal ones. These last months!

Had to have a tooth removed that was an anchor for my partial. Was told the partial would never fit again. Got home, did some research and came across this product. Decided to give it a try. The stuff is fantastic, filled in the void where the anchor had been and the the partial fits better then it ever did.

It has been a month and it is still holding up. It even looks like it was professionally done. Best $4 and change I have ever spent. New partial would have been close to a $1000.

I was at work and eating lunch when I bit into a piece of Chinese chicken and to my dismay, I heard a crack! Horrified, I stopped eating immediately and checked my partial and sure enough it was cracked right down the middle but it wasnot splot in two yet.

That was a sigh of relief for me. so at work I quickly brgan research on the best repair kits for partials and “Repair It” received the 5 star ratings! I immediately purchased a affordablr kit from walmart and followed the instructions carefully and Wallah! I’m so grateful fir such a wonderfully amaxing product that’s easy on the picket book! Whomever invented this kit should receive a noble prixe! Us poor folks thank you to the highest heaven for the temp fix! Mu replacements are in process and now I can sleep at night till then! 5 star product!.

I suffer from having a ‘strong’ bite and at least once a year I either break a tooth of dislodge one from my denture. Having lost one back in November 2019, I did not like the idea of having to pay out again in January 2020! I saw this product on e-bay and although unsure, decided to give it a try.

It has been several weeks now and the tooth is still firmly in place! I took the tip from the instructions and placed the liquid in the freezer for 10 minutes to slow the setting time. If I had thought about it, I would also have put the denture in there with it, as it would have assisted the extension of the setting time.

In the event, if you have everything to hand there is time to make the repair. If I have to do it again, I will take my time and not panic in case it sets too early!! A great product, try it. !!.
