20 Best Denim Shorts For Men (2023 Updated)

My husband loves these Lee Carpenter Jeans shorts. It’s hard to find them in stores in our area. We’re thrilled to be able to order them from Blain’s Farm & Fleet!

My brother was visiting for the day and his cell phone tore his Lee jean shorts at the back pocket. We were preparing to go out to dinner and I had to run to Bealls to buy him a new pair. He mentioned that this was the third pair that tore in the same place for the same reason.

Seems the back pocket area is weakened if you carry your cell phone there. Otherwise they are great shorts and fit well!.

The carpenter jean shorts are excellent quality.. perfect fit.and the shipping was only $8.00 very impressed.did not have to wait.arrived in 4-5 days..I will consider purchasing again.

When they say slim, they mean it. My husband is 5ft 7in and buff/stocky. About 175lb. I’m an inch shorter and about 155lb. I ordered a size 32 and neither of us could actually button the pants! Haha so maybe it’s just for tall super skinny teenagers?? Which is too bad cus I’m a sucker for those bleached cutoffs on my man ❤️.

I just love the way these look on. I was I was not sure about how they would look at first but I really love the fit. I think these are going to be my go to shorts. I just really don’t have any negative feedback.

I bought these after Christmas to wear on a Caribbean trip. Bingo! These shorts are a very comfortable slim fit and very breathable. I would recommend these to anyone. Plus you can’t go wrong with the legendary Levi’s.

IN ONE INSTANCE I ORDERED A PAIR OF JEANS SIZE 44X36. MUCH TOO TIGHT SO I ORDERED A 46 AND A 42 (F0RTY TWO). THE 46 WAS ALSO TIGHT BUT THE 42 FIT PERFECT. G0 FIGURE.

Wanted regular loose fit not the flex fit. Do not like stretch pants want COTTON. I hate these. No where in the description did it have flex or I would not have purchased them.

These are like the greatest shorts! They are so soft. VERY comfortable. Feel like your wearing sweats that are shorts. They have the right amount of stretch and give for all day comfort. Not to heavy or light of a fabric but just right!.

These are great shorts that are light and look awesome. Plenty of pockets and room to spare. A larger size than usual is what I needed in order to have some leg room because the material has no give.

On a recent trip to FL I was without shorts and it was hot hot hot. I raced to DXL and they did not let me down, I got these shorts which fit excellently and we’re completely suitable for a visit with my in-laws.

Been looking for a decent pair of denim shorts for ages. These are spot on. Can dress up or down. Really good fit and perfect length. Would thoroughly recommend.

Gone through various types of shorts, cycling and non over the years, and especially since I dropped weight, never find any that fit nicely on the thighs, i. e. are loose enough, but also don’t blow up like a parachute.

While I mostly wear bib shorts these days, sometimes just want a comfortable pair of shorts to go to the shops. Would be my current first choice if I was in Brompton World Championships. Reckon they’d be OK for some gravel.

Other than fit, stretch, and the relatively flattened gusset, they really don’t look very cycling specific, so good to wear whenever the weather allows. Useful size/depth pocket. Great to ride in. Just hope they last, but right now, my favourite non-bib-shorts.

I actually like ‘jorts’, and I do get a bit of ‘hey – why you wearing jorts’ remarks, but I don’t care – I like the style and comfort of a good Jort. These are very nice pants, well considered gusset panels and construction for easy movement.

Very comforable when sitting or driving too, and never feel like they’re bunching up or cutting into my stomach. I wear a 36 jean normally, and ordered size 36, as the spandex material allows a bit of size flexibility.

The small mini pocket is actually twice as deep as one on Levi’s jeans, so little things stashed in there don’t fall out. I also like DU/ER’s other shorts and these are of the same quality and comfort.

I picked these up on winter sale for warm weather commuting. I burn through bottoms like nothing and DU/ER’s jeans have held up the best out of any I’ve tried so far. The shorts show the same solid construction and are a good length.

My only qualm is that they’re a bit tight through the thighs, which is not an ideal fit for cyclists! I wouldn’t say they “run small” because the waist is perfect, and they still work fine because of the stretch, but a little bit more room in the legs would make for a cooler commute.

I bought these a month ago and went for a 10k run in them. They feel great and I liked that they have shorts as the liner. They’re comfortable. One MAJOR problem. They wick sweat to the outer layer of the shorts in a way that exposes the sweat and makes it appear that you’ve urinated on yourself.

Ever have leggings do that? Yeah, these are like that but MADE for running (and subsequently sweating). I’m not even a heavy sweater, but I am an avid runner. In fact I’ve been running for so long (30+ years) and used so many brands and colors of running shorts that I never suspected this would be an issue.

These shorts are unwearable to me. I submitted a warranty claim with ON because I thought their company might be helpful. They wrote me back that “active people sweat and “all materials show sweat. ” If you’re a runner like me, you know that’s not true for shorts.

I’ve never had shorts do this. I have shorts from Hoka, Brooks, Lulu Lemon, Nike, Adidas, Saucony, The Running Company, etc. In fact, my Lulú Lemon shorts are the same color (glacier) and their shorts don’t make you appear incontinent.

Trust me and save yourself the embarrassment.

I bought these because I have an On top that is super quick to dry, and I was hoping these shorts would be too. These shorts are not quick to dry. The shell holds a lot of sweat and plasters to my legs while running.

There are other shorts that mitigate this problem. Even worse, these shorts begin to chafe my labia minora at around 10 miles. By mile 15, it’s painful to run and peeing is worse. Again, there are other shorts that don’t cause this problem.

Since I often run long miles, I won’t purchase these shorts again. If you do short runs, you might appreciate the wide, comfy waist band and lightweight shell on these shorts. You might also appreciate these if you’re looking for ver modest shorts; these aren’t super short and the shell on the XS is a little baggy on me.

The waistband and liner fit fine.

These are the only shorts I ever want to run in; I’ve gone on a lot of long runs (10-30 miles) at a time in these shorts and they have been the best out of all the shorts I’ve worn. I’m going to buy a second pair.

They are totally worth the money. Extremely high quality and excellent fit. The compression shorts underneath are excellent and the fabric of the outer shorts is super lightweight. The pocked in the back for stashing things during a run is extremely well-made.

I also love that the waistband is wider/taller and allows (so comfier and less pressure on any given spot) for these shorts to be worn more as a mide-rise/high-rise situation. I’ve worn many running shorts in my 15+ years of running and these are by far my favorite.

I’ve been desperate for shorts that fit right. I like shorter-shorts. And I have a pretty big thighs and a butt from working out. These fit the bill perfectly. I can look good, chase my kids, and even squat (if I wanted to) in these puppies.

Most stretch fabrics feel cheap. Not so with these. The shorts feel sturdy, just heavy enough, and look (almost) just like real denim. The faded look is deliciously vintage and on track with spring 2021 fashion trends.

I’ve tried many brands of denim shorts and found these to be a very attractive, comfortable fit. I’m slim and have skinny legs so I wasn’t as blown away by how they fit on my rear and thighs as I had hoped, but maybe that’s a ‘me’ problem, lol.

Still a fan of all bearbottom quality items! One preference would have been for a bit more curve around the butt. I kind of just didn’t accent the backside as much as I like in pants/shorts.

I have ordered two kind of these stretch fabric shorts and found out to be best I have ever had. They fit great and don’t feel tight but rather loose and comfortable. I received very kind cooperation when I asked the Company’s agent to exchange the size.

Originally bought because I needed some shorts and this brand is sourced ethically in MY LOCAL AREA! Screw sending my money off shore to foreign companies. I digress, upon trying these pants on for the first time, I noticed that they are more stretchy than Australia’s Olympic gymnastic team, which is great because I move around a LOT.

After a few hours i stopped to take note of how particularly soft these shorts have remained! They are literally as soft as your missus after a long working day. Cannot recommend more. Keep your money local guys and girls.

Shorts are super comfy, look and feel great. And they don’t stretch too much throughout a few days west which is great. I’m 5’7” and 74kg and the 32 is great. Great fit on the thighs and enough room to avoid a bulge at the waist.

The denim is bulky and the cuffs do not fold over easily. The shorts themselves do not hug my thighs as tight as I would like. Overall these are not the most comfortable shorts, especially in the crotch area.

Wearing them for an extended amount of time becomes discomforting.

I bought two pairs of these a year ago and have been so pleased that decided to buy some more. Unfortunately I was only able to get one pair as stock in my size had run out! However, the new pair are to the same exacting standard as those previously bought and are both comfortable and a great fit.

i would not waste my money on this product. I could not unbutton the pants and the zipper was to short to use and gain access to things. I had to pull pants down about 3 inches to use the zipper. This is why I returned item and will never buy again.
