This product changed. Yes, there has been a recent packaging change, but the flavor and texture changed as well. My family usually avoids chicken lunchmeat, but on a whim I decided to try this flavor.

I was so pleasantly surprised; the flavor was outstanding and the chicken actually had texture! The mouthfeel was great and the meat was manufactured in such a way that you could sense the grain of the cut of meat.

This flavor became ridiculously popular in my home, so much so that I stopped buying any other meats. I was incorporating this in salads and wraps; the flavor accompanied other flavors so nicely, there was no conflict between the Chipotle flavoring and several flavors of salad dressings, as well as different mayos and mustards.

This meat paired well with pepperoni and many kinds of cheeses. It became a quick low cal, low carb snack in my home. There are several Walmart in my area, and I would switch my pickup orders between them if one store was out of stock on this product.

This food became a staple in my house. A week or so ago I reordered this product and immediately upon unpacking my groceries I noticed the different packaging, but assumed the product inside was still the same.

I am sad to report it is not the same product; the flavor and mouthfeel are way off. I am delicate, so I was originally surprised and delighted that the Chipotle flavor was not spicy, but bold and apparent.

The present product, on the other hand, has a muted flavor that is almost not there. Additionally, the flavor draws to mind how many times rip offs try so hard to be the product but fall short; this present item is like a rip off that didn’t even attempt to be the product.

The most unfortunate part though is the mothfeel. If you buy the lowest end chicken lunchmeat I will promise you it will have the same mouthfeel; it is smooth! All texture has been eliminated from this product.

You can no longer experience the grain of the meat. I am sorely disappointed in Oscar Mayer for making these changes. I cannot imagine who was crying out to replace the flavorful meat with this bland smooth meat.

What executive decided since sales were up for this product that it would be a good idea to change it completely. Off brands are now better than this once delightful product. So sad that Oscar Mayer ruined such a wonderful product.

I like to be able to see what my food i. e lunch meat looks like before purchasing it. Now as for opening the product, there is one corner on the plastic container that is slightly larger than the other three.

This is where you pull open the package from. The package opens fairly easy. I could see it being a little hard for certain people who may have arthritis or something like that. I also notice that when closing the lid it doesn’t seal back up which is a problem in my opinion.

This container won’t keep your lunch meat fresh for long in this packaging. I also took notice to the smell. I know lunch meat isn’t the best smelling thing to begin with but the smell of this lunch meat is really unappealing.

My kids who were in the same room even said the smell was unpleasant. Now for the important part, the taste! My children and I tasted our new delifresh honey ham on it’s own and in a sandwich. We all agreed that the honey flavor tasted great on the ham.

It wasn’t too sweet like honey it has just the right amount. Nutrition wise Oscar Meyer’s Delifresh ham is a pretty healthy option for protein. 2ounces alone is only 70 calories. It’s also made with No Artificial Preservatives, No added hormones, and No nitrates or nitrites added! I definitely this that this is a great product for the whole family as a meal or snack.

I look forward to trying other Oscar Meyer delifresh meats in the future!.

Saturdays are my lazy days. If I can help it, I don’t do much cooking. However, I still like to have delicious meals. Today, we had a delicious lunch that included sandwiches made with Oscar Mayer DeliFresh Smoked Turkey Breast and Claussen Kosher Dill Pickle Sandwich Slices.

Lunch was a hit with my family! I made our sandwiches with honey wheat bread, smoked turnkey, fresh leafy green lettuce, tomatoes, honey dijon mustard, and pickles. We were very pleased with the smoked flavor of the turkey and it was sliced perfectly for sandwiches.

And, I can’t leave out the crunchy, flavorful pickle slices! What a great addition to the sandwich! I added a side of chips and fresh fruit to complete a dish that the whole family enjoyed. Oscar Mayer and Claussen helped me create a lunch that was perfect for our lazy Saturday afternoon.

I used to love Oscar Meyer bologna when I was a kid! We always had it in the fridge. I hadn’t had it in a while so we grabbed it recently. When I took the very first bite, I was so disappointed. It tasted very grainy – like little pieces of grit through out.

I thought maybe it was just that slice so I took out a few more and made cheese and lunch meat roll ups. Nope – it was every slice. I tried the second container we bought and still the same thing. Not sure if they changed the way they make it or I got a bad batch but I will not be buying this again.

I am so happy that Influenster is doing these cash back challenges so my family and I could try so many of the Oscar Meyer products for free tonight! I am not really big on bologna but my son really wanted to try this one so of course I said yes! The texture is smooth but that is what I expect out of this type of meat product but it’s actually really good! I think I’m gonna try it fried next time but tonight we put it on sandwiches old school style and loved all of it! The ingredients are great with very little in the way of fillers and I forgot how inexpensive this type of meat is so it doesn’t have a lot of carbs and fits into my eating plan.

I think this is worth every penny and I would recommend it!.

This is the Bologna of my childhood. I remember being served bologna sandwiches for lunch at my summer camp. And truthfully I stopped buying it for many many years. I usually prefer to buy deli meat at the deli counter where I can ask for it to be shaved thin.

This digital event gave me a chance to give this another try and it is just as good as I remember it. I actually find it to be less salty than the Boars head brand. I would definitely recommend this and I will be buying this again.

Boy was I blown away. I got the regular old Cooked Ham. Everyone’s had it right? Wrong, not me. My Mother bought cheaper brands, saving cents. I can totally understand, my budget being razor thin most of my life, but I had never had Oscar Mayer Ham before.

The 20cents to 50cents more than the cheaper brands in price made it an easy way to just shave off money to use in the chicken and steak department. I made a sandwich on Sourdough with Mustard and Romaine, I hate to say this but, I literally moaned “mmmmm” after I took every bite.

Sounds ridiculous right? I felt ridiculous, but I could not stop. My boyfriend asked “You ate the entire sandwich? You never eat that much!” The Ham was so amazingly good! I now understand the #makeeverysandwichcount life.

I made open-faced ham and swiss sandwiches for lunch. I broiled layers of honey ham topped with swiss cheese and garnished with olives. It was quick and easy to make a warm satisfying lunch before the game.

It would be great for an anytime snack or make a platter full for game day guests. You could top it with the cheese and toppings of your choice. For breakfast, I lightly browned the honey ham and Sautéed sweet peppers.

Then I added this to scrambled eggs and topped it with shredded cheese. The honey ham made this a delicious and hearty breakfast. Honey ham isn’t just for sandwiches. I want to try the honey ham in macaroni and cheese next.

It’s great to have honey ham on hand because there are endless dishes you can make with it.

This cheesy ham is a fun little bonus to add to a sandwich and/or snacks. I used it for a ham and cheese sandwich and also used it to create a fun little snack try got my young son. Both of us really enjoyed the flavor of it.

It’s surprisingly less salty than the regular ham which I love because the saltiness isn’t overpowering. The ham is also moist enough to add to the fresh taste. Overall, I am satisfied Roth the flavor and my son really loved it as well.

I purchase thick slice bacon normally from my local grocery store but saw this brand bacon on a popular food show and was excited to try. So much so that I purchased 4 packs. After cooking I was underwhelmed.

There was a lot of fat and very little meat. So while PL looks thicker in the package, once cooked it renders down to the same size bacon that I buy in market at a lesser price with double quantity (note: PL only gives you 5-6 slices per pack).

Guess my husband and I will need to roadtrip to New York if we want the authentic PL bacon experience.

I was so excited to try this bacon but was very disappointed. I even tried cooking two different ways, stovetop and microwave. Its totally over-rated.

I really enjoy this honey ham lunch meat. It tastes great and comes in a resealable package so it wont leak everywhere. The slices are also the perfect thickness for me. Not to thin not too thick. I would definitely recommend this product if you like honey ham lunch meat.

This ham tastes delicious. I’m so glad Hormel came out with a more natural choice for deli meats that is affordable and has a short ingredient list without all of the unnecessary stuff found in others.

Great pepperoni especially since it doesn’t contain chicken which I’m allergic to. It’s the only pepperoni I can eat. Glad they make this available because I love pepperoni! The only brand I buy.

Really tasty pepperoni. I love that this is the cheaper brand but tastes the same as the more pricey brands. These are great to eat out of the package and they are a great addition to homemade pizza.

We enjoy the value of these Pepperonis and they are good enough to eat by themselves. Best to also place them on a microwave plate and microwave for 1 minute and eat as hard pepporni chips. Great for Keto!.

Currently on a keto diet, this deli meat was a perfect fit. The slices are generous in size, and make an ideal bread replacement. Pieces can quickly get wrapped around thick chunks of cheese for a quick snack, or tucked in a cooler for a road trip.

The deli twist on the standard luncheon meat is evident in the spices and quality of the meat. I found that the light coating of red chili pepper, chipotle and paprika enhanced the meat, and acted very complimentary, giving it a full-flavor without overwhelming or cloying it.

My only (small) concern is the sodium amount — high in my opinion — as this is something I am always aware of and ha d a concern regarding. The meat was tender, and neither dry nor wet (which is gross).

I felt the price was quite fair for the amount given, and many meals can be created from one package. I like the plastic container and how easily it can be resealed. Overall, this is a great new product from a long-known name brand I trust.

There are a number of qualities that I look for in deli meats and I’m somewhat unabashedly picky when I can be. In something prepackaged like this, the meat tends to sit in some sort of moisture because even when it’s not deliberately packaged with it, some moisture tends to escape and pool due to gravity.

In this case, I really don’t see any and I’m very pleased by that. These slices are the ideal thickness because they’re thick enough to really taste the smoked ham flavor and the pleasant texture of the fibers of the meat.

I think that this particular variety is sweeter than most deli ham I tend to buy but certainly not overbearing sweet. So in my second tasting, I’ve combined it with a stone ground mustard and separately a chipotle aeoli and I think both pair remarkably well.

Ham has always been my favorite luncheon meat so I was excited to try this product, especially since I trust Oscar Mayer. The thickness was perfect for my sandwich and piled up nicely. The taste was decent but honestly nothing spectacular, just average.

When I think of honey ham, it usually has more of a smooth flavor. This was plain, which really surprised me. It was also a bit fatty. Also, the package was disappointing because it was not easily resealable.

The thinly sliced turkey with cracked pepper has a great smell, fresh texture and crisp taste. The cracked pepper adds just enough flavor, that if you used just the turkey you would not need any condiments.

The uncured ham was on my list of eligible products but I don’t see here on the product choice but it’s close enough. I will start off by saying this ham was chosen for my fiancé NOT for myself. I have never liked the taste of any type of ham.

It is one of his favorites and he never tried the Oscar Mayer brand so we bought it to try it out. Let me tell you, we will ALWAYS have this uncured ham in our fridge at all times. He has used it in numerous ways from sandwich to straight from the package, but his favorite is now pan fried as well as mixed in with his eggs for breakfast.

He is obsessed!!! After trying it pan fried in a little butter I have also changed my mind and fell in love with it. He said it is a game changer and I honestly agree. This ham is really really good and so convenient.

If you haven’t tried it you definitely should. The only two con’s is the box it comes in is really not resealable so that is a pain. It also doesn’t have that much meat in it. If they had a bigger package ( I have not seen it ) or in a resealable bag that would make so much more sense.

I tried the rotisserie chicken lunch meat in several different variations. I made a sandwich on a croissant with melted pepper jack and I heated the lunch meat in the toaster oven. I did not like the lunch meat heated.

I also tried cut up chicken lunch meat on ritz crackers with colby pepper jack cheese and Swiss cheese these combinations were both enjoyable. I made a sandwich on honey wheat bread with lettuce, Muenster cheese and olive oil Mayo and I found this sandwich to be most enjoyable.

Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh 15oz family size combo pack with both oven roasted turkey and smoked uncured ham is the best of both worlds. I’m a fan of both turkey and ham so have these two together is wonderful.

The taste is exactly what you’d expect and the quality is spot on. I didn’t like the high sodium content per serving but thats inevitable. The protein per calorie ratio is great. I also would have like to see a way to reseal the container.

This has a really great flavor and you definitely can taste the added seasonings. I usually just grab this with some Colby Jack cheese and eat it as a quick snack. I’m taking off a star for two reasons.

One, the package is poorly designed. Even comparing the package to Hillshire Farms you will notice a huge difference. The package is flimsy. If you make the mistake of taking the entire lid off, just know that once you do that it almost never goes back on correctly.

When I open the package, I immediately smelled the roasted chicken aroma which is a good sign of something tasty to come. So, I made a sandwich with the rotisserie chicken slices in a sandwich with toasted garlic brioche buns, garlic aioli and a larger sliced tomato.

Originally, I thought the slices were too thin but they really were sliced just right when they’re stacked in rolled halves as it gave it the right depth for the sandwich. Hard salami. I use it in my pasta salad. And all my ingredients come from Sams including the cheese tortellini, grape tomatoes, peppers, feta cheese and the dressing. Italian from Olive Garden. And great prices.

I’m truly impressed with the Good & Gather brand. I have tried several of the products in this line and find nothing lacking. Just as good, if not better than the name brand of the same product. Ex: the blue corn chips.

This is the best tasting turkey lunch meat I’ve ever had. It’s the perfect blend of Smokey and sweet. I only gave it 4/5 because it does contain carrageenan and “natural flavoring”, but until I can find something better, this is my go-to for breakfast or lunch sandwiches.

I do also wish that the nutrition facts label listed the number of slices in a serving instead of saying it’s 2 ounces. I also found it strange that the label shows 0% iron, and turkey meat does contain iron.

Had a sandwich and got a little hard piece. Figured, ok, it happens. It is super processed after all. Then got a second hard piece. Thought that was weird and gross. Then got a third. So at this point I’m never buying this again.

I purchased Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh Slow Roasted Roast Beef to see how it compared with the brand I typically buy. The first thing I noticed about the product was the resealing package, similar to Deli brought meats this is a feature I like.

As I opened the packed I was delighted with the fresh roast beef smell, however the product looked formed and highly processed which is a turnoff. I made myself a sandwich the same way I would have if I purchased from my grocers deli counter.

This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own. I purchased this product as a postworkout protein source because it was lean and had about 60g of protein. The flavor was surprisingly as the seasoning really popped.

I ate the whole thing. Easy to cook. 2 mins in the microwave, dry it off, and your good to go. Would definitely buy again as a healthy treat.

The issue with most bacon is that it either crisps up too much and is hard, or doesn’t crisp enough, leaving you with a rubbery meat blob. This bacon is not only the most delicious I have ever tasted-so good!!!!!-, but it cooks to absolute perfection.

Crispy, light, with a little chew on the ends (I personally love that), and as long as you pay attention to it, you can’t overcook it. There is little to no moisture that drains out during cooking (some bacon is so wet and you end up boiling it in its own juices or draining it 100 times-gross), and the fact that it’s hormone free, humanely raised, and free of nitrates and nitrites is icing on the bacon cake.

I have tried many others, but always come back to D’Artagnan. This never disappoints!.

Bought this bacon for years (was disappointed when they discontinued the wild boar bacon which was our absolute favorite) at the market. The flavor is terrific. We really love the hickory smoke. It is easy to cook and doesn’t lose contact with the pan as many other brands do.

Wish they had the hotel slicing option (and larger packs) on this one like they offer in the applewood version. Now, since we discovered the option to order direct and now get home delivery since we are local, this is a bulk staple.

Great bacon. I don’t eat bacon much anymore but was really looking forward to this and it did NOT disappoint! I bought 3 packs and cannot wait to cook the rest to enjoy.
