Best Defense For Week 13 (2024 Updated)

My husband has digestive issues and this is the only product that works for him. It used to be available at Walmart Walgreens Giant eagle really any place and now it is hard to come by in the store so we must order online.

I buy 5 to 8 boxes at a time depending on the deal or the seller. We have not been able to find a comprable product that is as effective for him. I hope that they never stop making this it is critical to his health and well-being.

We control diet like mad crazy on the amount of proteins or eliminating gluten and this product seems to help him pass more days in between feeling unwell. I highly recommend this product and again I hope they do not discontinue it!.

These are fantastic. It does not leave aftertaste and helps digestion. It is always fresh because it is individually wrapped in aluminum foil. These are great for your teens to help keep their skin clear.

A first meal of the day. If the pimple is still not completely clean, take it twice a day. Wash with tea tree soap. Magic! I’m not sure how anyone can leave a legitimate review for these as you don’t really notice anything.

However, labdoor tests products to determine the accuracy of the label and also its “value. ” These are first on your list for value and second or third for label power / precision. I trust them.

I love these! I have suffered from multiple GI problems and do believe that taking a probiotic is essential to helping and keeping my GI problems under control. I have tried a lot of different brands and kinds: pills, gummies, refrigerated/not.

I find these are simple, easy to take, reasonably priced, and to be the most effective. The only negative I would say is the tablet breaks in half when I pop it out of the packet. For me, makes it a tad harder to swallow.

I have been using this product for three months now, so I can give the pros and cons. It is a good moisturizer and the scent is okay. The scent wears off after a couple of hours and I consider that a good thing as I do not wear cologne or aftershave.

I have never liked smelling like that stuff. Anyway, it does work well as a moisturizer, but I gave it only three stars because after two months of using it twice a day, it has not reduced the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

I thought I’d try this after my success with their face wash. However, I’m not such a big fan of this product. It’s a big tube and while you get alot for your money it’s still more than the face wash by some way.

The tea tree and witch Hazel type scents are very strong, so if you’re not good with perfumed products then this is a no go. The consistency is on the looser side but I still prefer my la roche posay moisturiser for oil control as I woke up and felt a bit slick in places after using this.

This is a well-made case that makes me feel confident that my phone is protected against most damage, and without too much extra bulk, but I have a few concerns about the design and feel of the case.

First, I found it extremely difficult to get the phone in or out of the case without applying much more force than I’m comfortable doing. The instructions appear relatively straightforward and I did see how to partially separate the rubber seal from the plastic part of the case, but every time it was an annoying and time-consuming struggle.

Second, there is a cutout that leaves the physical ring/silence switch exposed but given the depth of the case and the angle of the cutout, I found it very difficult to toggle the switch on or off. This might not be a problem for someone with smaller fingers or long fingernails but I’m used to having easy access to this switch and the case frustrated me each and every time I wanted to silence my phone.

My last concern is that the feeling of the back of the case was very smooth and too plasticy. If I’m going to use a case and sacrifice the feeling of metal in my hand, I would prefer a grippier texture more like rubber than plastic (for example, I was much more satisfied with the non-XT model of Otterbox’s Defender Pro, which adds some thickness but had a much more pleasant feel overall).

The sides of the phone were reasonably grippy and better than the back by far, but still less pleasant to hold than the phone itself or a more textured case. On the positive side, this case does seem to provide a good amount of protection without adding too much weight or additional size, and (while I don’t have any official MagSafe accessories to test with) it worked extremely well with my wireless charging pad.

I also liked the cover for the Lightning port, which was not too hard to move aside for wired charging or to connect a wired accessory. But if you want a protective case I feel that the Defender Pro is superior to the Defender Pro XT in nearly every way, even if it sacrifices some MagSafe capability and is not advertised as having a thin design.

the XT is not so thin as to make that much of a difference for me.

I’ll start by saying I am an Otterbox fan… I have had one on my iPhone 8+ for years and it has protected my phone through SO much! I mean, small hands plus big phone equals so many drops and falls to gravel, pavement, wood flooring, etc.

So, when I upgraded to an iPhone 13 Pro Max I am logically sticking with what works because I know nothing is going to change in terms of my graceful dexterity. I picked this because of the military drop rating and MagSafe component.

It is simple in design, covers the charging port to keep lint and what-not out which is nice. I scored glass protector separately and am contemplating something to protect the camera lenses which are exposed… but note that the edging around the opening for the camera lenses protrudes further than the lenses themselves.

So if the phone is flat on the table the lenses are not touching, just the case… so the only issue I see is if (well, for me really it’s when) the phone is dropped in gravel and a rock jams up in the lenses.

I noticed a few reviews say this particular case is made for the iPhone 12 Pro Max and that it doesn’t quite fit their 13 Pro Max… I do not have that issue. It fits snuggly, the button covers are properly placed… possible user error there unless Otterbox has inconsistent manufacturing or I have a newer version where tweaks were made to accommodate the 13 Pro Max.

All in all I trust the protection Otterbox offers, they have proven themselves time and time again with my old phone so I am willing to shell out a few extra bucks for a known brand that really works.

Otterbox is the gold standard for protective cases. This is the 5th Otterbox case that I have used for the various iterations of the iPhone over the years. The quality of these cases and the protection offered keeps improving.

The Defender Series Pro XT case with MagSafe for the iPhone 13 Pro Max is no different. It is a high quality case which provides maximum protection for not only the occasional drop but also the normal wear and tear that can affect ones phone.

The outer shell is smooth high impact plastic with a rubber grip going around the outer bezel of the phone. The outer rubber provides more than adequate grip and extra impact protection. The lip that raises the phone away from surfaces and protect the lenses is of perfect height to protect the large lenses of the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

An important quality of any case for me is that it cannot be too bulky. The Defender Series Pro XT Case with MagSafe is not bulky at all. Otterbox found a way to provide high quality protection without the added bulk that is usually associated with that bulk.

The MagSafe feature provides an extremely strong lock for all of the MagSafe accessories which I tried on it. I cannot recommend the Defender Series Pro XT Case with MagSafe for the iPhone 13 Pro Max enough.

It is a definite win in my book!.

I just installed on my New IPhone 13 Pro. First like a previous review I noticed the edge does not cover the screen protector edge – thus a dirt trap- not to mention I would think it would be better protection with a little soft rubber overlap.

Second, just as another mentioned – the edge around the camera “barley” extends past the camera. I guess that would be ok setting it on a flat clean table. But for a case that boast drop strength, I would think you target customer would expect to protection in less than ideal conditions – I certainly did.

And Last, trying to understand why there is nice well defined button covers for everything except the ring silence button (other models have the same cover for all buttons- why doesn’t the most expensive model share this convenience).

It has this awkward cutout and even being a woman with fairly small hands, my finger will not fit to operate button (something I do use when my phone rings at an inconvenient time). I truly expected more, as I have used both Otterbox and LifeProof cases on every cell phone I have ever owned and never had an issue, never broken a screen, and never broken a phone.

That is not to say they have not been dropped and exposed to some extreme conditions. I wanted to utilize the Magsafe features of the phone and had thought this would work as well as previous cases. I hope customer input is shared with your R&D team for improvements on future models.

I have been an OtterBox user since the inception of the company. All of my iPhones, iPads use otter boxes. However I’ve never been so dissatisfied with the lack of engineering details and overall horrible ingenuity.

The phone is extremely slippery I’m having to use skateboard tape in certain areas around the rear of the phone and even parts of the edges in order to just be able to hold the phone. There’s no reason why there’s no texture on the rear or on the sides.

Both rubber and poly carbonate can handle texture and when holding a $1500 device you should take every step possible and every measure to make sure that that protection starts in your hand with a solid grip.

I have never been so dissatisfied with a case. The overall design , the way that it assembles and disassembles, the lack of stability in the hand and not just mine but everyone that I have let hold the phone in the case and apparently others writing similar reviews this feels more like a $15 case I expect this type of quality from Walmart not a boutique firm like OtterBox.

I’m stuck with the case because there really aren’t that many other options… I’m assuming that’s going to change now that competitors see what you guys have put out. Hoping the skateboard tape fixes the issues but it’s ridiculous that I spend this kind of money to have to modify a case.

I take this twice a day. And 750mg time release metoformin at night. With this I’m off the insulin but, i try my best to eat healthy do my daily walking and i still have cheat days. My daily glucose level is normal, and the highest being 148 maybe once within a 3 month period of me adjusting my diabetic meds.

Truly worked for me but with a change in eating habits and with walking and first with taking 3 diabetic meds for a year januvia 50 metoformin 750 and insulin 35units got my a1c from 11 to a 5. 8. I got scared of getting a body part amputated so i started taking those 3 meds then this year i changed my eating habbits after i found out that just by eating in a discipline healther way ive lost 40lbs from march to july i decided i didnt want the insulin or the januvia or the metoformin so i began to exercise and now i only need the kal and the 750mg.

Yes recommend this but first i had to take my 3 meds after i got my a1c under control i then adjusted the formula.

Simple, clear and concise. This is a well written booklet that has more to do with ones overall mindset than actual defense training techniques. The most dangerous thing a person has going is their mind not a gun or knife.

That said you’d better have your head screwed on right if you’re going to take responsibility for your self. This book could very well save your life besides being a good guide to living and dealing with lots of common threats to your peace & well being.

Everyone could benefit from reading this book.

An Excellent resource! If you want to be defensively prepared, to protect yourself & your family, this is a must read! I purchased it for myself, I will ask my husband & son to read it too!!! This is exactly what I was looking for, its simple & straight forward, to train my mind to be aware, to be thinking ahead of time of situations to react & react fast.

This is a quality book for someone who is looking into self defense. While this book doesn’t cover how to physically do so, it goes over the mindset in which you need. Its less then 100 pages and you’ll want to read it all in one sitting.

This is a book I can foresee reading several more times.

Whether used internally or topically for various yeast (candida) infections and related ailments, Fungus Fighter Compound by Herb Pharm is amazing ! I had a vaginal yeast infection (could have been a mild one) and it cleared up for the most part after one dose.

I took a dose a day for a couple of days. I take a dropperful in a shot glass with some water at night so it can be in my system overnight without any interactions with any food or beverages. I sometimes gargle with it a bit before swallowing.

I take as needed. There are different ways yeast / candida infections can be present: some kinds of dandruff, some vaginal yeast infections (if bacterial, may not work and should see a Doctor), toenail fungus, urine with a bad odor, other skin issues, to name a few.

Most reviews are right saying you should go into this game as blind as possible so nothing gets spoiled for you. That being said, the game is set up such that you follow 13 individual stories. These sections are the visual novel portions, and there is no real game play other than moving your character to new areas and advancing dialogue with the A button.

The combat sections of the game are real time combat experiences via individual stages that you select. They’re required to complete as certain stories will only advance once these stages are done. Even on the normal difficulty the battles aren’t hard, but you do have the option to change the difficulty at any point.

You also have the ability to upgrade your characters, and these new skills make clearing levels even easier. It’s a game well worth playing, and it’s a very enjoyable experience from start to finish.

I played this on PS4 in 2020 when it was first released and revisiting it on Switch has been a joy. I’m playing it exclusively in handheld mode (preferred for my visual novels), and so far the performance has been solid.

The storytelling is so intriguing and somehow they have made it work despite how many characters and perspectives that are included. I was pleasantly surprised by the tactical gameplay portions as well.

Also, the art cards that came with the game are a nice bonus. I love the designs that Vanillaware is known for, so beautiful.

Whether you like good stories, good voice acting, or good RTS/tower defense/turn-based combat, this is a game for you. It’s a game that anyone interested should play at least one because the experience is just that unique and incredible.

Watching someone else play this particular game is just not the same as having the freedom to make your own gaming decisions, coming up with your own theories, and formulating your own game plan at your own pace.

It is one of the only games I’ve played that had me thinking about the game’s story for weeks after I finished the main game.
