Best Defense For Fantasy Football (2024 Updated)

Blood Bowl is a great game. The usual tldr is that this is Rugby in the Warhammer World, which says a lot about the setting but not much mechanically. Blood Bowl has a good balance of strategy and luck, occasionally referred to as ‘chess with dice’.

Risk mitigation plays a key roll in successful play, and players need to balance the risk/reward of each play to make the best use of the team. But onto the book itself. It’s well produced, looks very pretty.

It is a sturdy hardback with an excellent print finish. Importantly it contains all the rules at launch of Blood Bowl 2020. Of course it has ambiguities and errors as all GW books have, however there is already an FAQ and Errata available online to resolve these.

The book also has a good index which helps in the search for rulings. If you’re already a Blood Bowl player then the rulebook is all you need for the new Season. If you’re looking to get into the game it’s honestly hard to recommend this over the box set, which includes the rules as well as the pitch, dice, templates and two teams for very good value! Hence 4 stars over 5.

For the most part, it was okay to read. But once I got to the Blood Bowl 7’s I was in heaven. It held the rules for BB7s which I had been waiting for. You can buy the soft-back and receive the same information for a lower price.

If you enjoy the game of Blood Bowl, you will enjoy the shortened time it takes to play Blood Bowl 7’s. The BB7s rules make this a very good buy for BB fans.

Death Zone is a fun expansion for Blood Bowl with rules like new wizards, spells, pitch types, new star players and coaches and even rules for fielding a Giant on your teams! All this as well as “flavorful additions” like the halfling hotpot, literally, make this a must have for any fans of BB wishing to and even more mayhem to games of Blood Bowl.

Good product but much bigger than what I expected. I was trying to purchase for my 12 year old but this is definitely too big. I’ll keep for him to grow into but it will be a while. Would like to have a better description on sizing except for age range.

When I asked my son if he wanted to play to play little league this year he asked if he had to wear his cup. I knew that he was uncomfortable with his bioflex cup last season but I thought it was because it was his first year and needed to get used to it but he never got comfortable wearing it.

I tried it with the core briefs and was almost in tears so I got him some under armour compression shorts with a cup pocket and he tolerated that setup. This year we got the aircore cup and he says its more comfortable.

We are going to try to double layer (compression shorts as a baselayer) and I found a jockstrap small enough for him to wear over the compression shorts. We will try the cup between the jockstrap and compression shorts like I used to in high school.

Fingers crossed we have a winner.

I’ve owned various type of soft cups, and most are not worth anything! This one is light, flexible and comfortable. Others have offered very little protection, or are NOT comfortable. Would recommend for sports like soccer (although the Aircore Hard cup would offer better protection), basketball (yes, basketball!), wrestling, tennis, racquetball and other light contact sports.

My son has been playing team football for several years now and has used the boil-to-fit style guards up until this season. We got this one and it doesn’t require ‘fitting’. It took him a few practices to get used to the bite, the open mouth hole and the outward lip protection.

It does cause him to drool a little more than his previous guards, but he finally got used to this style. Prefers this style now after the break-in period.

I love it. Comfortable and stylish. I forget I’m wearing it. Protects me from germs too as I don’t touch wear my mouth was when I remove it. Highly recommend it to everyone!

Great mouthpiece but the tether leaves much to be desired. I don’t feel it is secure enough. On the 4th day of it being attached to my sons helmet the tether came off and we lost the mouthpiece somewhere on our walk to practice.

Thankfully I bought multiples and taped the new one securely on there.

Mouth guard works great. Fun design. The strap does not stay locked and is consistently falling off my sons helmet. It’s only matter of time before he loses it.

My son loves this! The only thing that would be better is making a kids size! It’s a bit big for kids! But he likes it better than traditional mouth guard. & he has braces!

This game brings you into the world of Harry Potter, you play as Harry, Ron, Hermine or Neville battling your way through all the villains you met in the books. This is a great game for angers 10+. This is a deck building game that lets you choose how you want to play your hero.

Will you cast spell? Will you help everyone stay in standing when the battle gets tough? Or will you call on staff and students to help you save Hogworts. The game gets harder as you go, but helps teach you all about deck building games.

If you are tired of the same thing in the games you play and want a game that doesn’t just need you to roll a dice, this may be the game for you.

Nike usually makes good products that are durable. For youth, kids usually outgrow the product, be it shoes, shirts, shorts, before they outwear them. A bit pricey since I bought a pair a year ago and they are marked up nearly 30%, but chalk it up to inflation.

Still worth the investment.

I bought the Black/Gold pair a little over a month ago and absolutely love them. Looks great, feels great, and has great grip. Just bought the White/Gold pair so I can have both. Got them in XL and they run true to size and highly recommend this style of glove.

We bought this mouth guard a few weeks ago, and it has been a great asset to our son. We love that it doesn’t have to be molded, and it allows him to breathe really well while he’s playing. He’s a QB, and says the way it fits makes it really easy for him to say his cadence.

He appreciates that the mouth guard is shallow enough that it doesn’t trigger his gag reflex, like some other mouth guards he has used in the past. The helmet strap doesn’t get in his way or cause any discomfort, because of the lip guard part of this mouth guard.

Nice look and good quality but the security of the interlocking of the mouth and lip guard could be better. I had the pieces installed correctly but sometime during an intense football game the lip guard popped off the front end of the mouthpiece and I lost it.

This product was advertised as a J5V Advance ball which is a very good soft leather ball making it specifically good for kicking. Instead I received a J5V Gold ball. Not only was it not the right product but it also appears worn/used and has a very bad leak making it grossly deflated in less than 5 minutes after fully inflating it.

Therefore, its not a useable football for anything.

Wanted some good quality and real leather kicking balls for my son to practice punting and field goals. You typically have to pay $100 per ball for genuine leather (maybe $70-80 on sale). These were a steal at less than $30 (we started with two).

Theyve held up well and were planning on buying more.

I ordered three Spalding Pop Warner footballs for my football team. We were given a Spalding Pop Warner Composite football from Pop Warner. I purchased three of these footballs from Walmart for practice.

Not to mention that one of the footballs would not stay inflated, all three balls were significantly different from the Spalding Pop Warner ball that was given to us from the league. The Walmart Spalding Pop Warner balls felt different and had writing that was somewhat blurry as compared to the league ball.

These balls were purchased cheaper than most other stores advertised. Since they were purchased for practice balls, no harm, no foul. I just feel that they were obviously cheaper quality than realized!.

The actual material of this mouth guard split and is unusable in less than a months use for a small child. Obviously there is something wrong with the material and the warranty is junk. Buyer beware the $2 mouth guards are a better option than this.

My son (13yrs) hates wearing a cup. He said this one was way more comfortable than the hard plastic one. It still provides protection but doesn’t dig into the skin. It was worth my money to buy this softcup so I didn’t have to hear him complain every game!.

For the price this is a great football. I found it at Five Below. It feels sturdy and seems like it will be used for a good bit especially for a toddler. Even older kids if they want to practice at home.

If they lose it or it gets destroyed it’s not a total loss for $5.

Would be nice to package with smaller ball to coordinate with the size of the outfit. But it’s a great ball!

Been ordering for my grandson since he was 10 better than other mouthpieces far better durability through the season. And the colors help. carolina blue, black , and pink for October. Would love to see Salute to Service camo mouthpiece, definitely would puchase.

This mouth piece will for both adults and youth although there are 2 different size options. Package says OSFM. Just wanted to share! My high schooler likes it.

Bought one box. I’m very pleased that they stepped up their game with Prestige. I pulled a Trent McDuffie auto /99! Also pulled multiple numbered cards and nice Joe Burrow & Mac Jones inserts!

Better than years past on what you get in a box. Numbered cards and diamond parallels. The person complaining about how many cards you used to get is crazy. Who wants 20 more base cards. Not me.

So I just bought one box to see what they were like, some of those base cards are kind of cool to get the classic quarterbacks, but I ended up getting four parallels including Brett favre, a youth moment that was shiny of Justin Herbert and two numbered cards of Higbee and Brady.

My 11U baseball player prefers this cup over all others he’s worn and has worn this brand over the last 2 years. It’s constructed well, washes/dries well, and is comfortable to him. I have yet to see him need to “readjust” while in the field.

The hard version is much better than the soft cup. I did not realize you shouldn’t put the soft cup in the dryer, and it went from “J” shape to a “U” shape. I found it slightly humorous. my son did not.

Great cup. Most comfortable cup I’ve tried. It has no sticky synthetic (rubbery material) so it slides into and out of the cup pocket on your short very easily, without catching onto the pocket material.

I have an Ultra Carbon Flex Cup, a Titan Alloy Flex Cup, a Bio-Flex Cup. I have NOT tried the AirCore Soft Cup yet (I have that on order from Shock Doctor) so it might be even more comfortable, but the AirCore Hard Cup has all the protection I need, plus comfort, plus convenience in effortlessly inserting an removing the copy from the cup pocket in my hockey shorts.

My son plays in high school and will only wear shockdoctor. They don’t move around and are comfortable. He is a pitcher and infielder. The cup slides out really easily. Size is true. He is 140 and wears a mens small.

It fits tight but stays in place.

I have a Wilson Duke ball and it looked awesome but out of the box it was slick to the touch and not as grippy as the Wilson Extreme. I put this down to one being real leather and the other not. It also from a vain side of things didn’t look like the game balls you see being played with in the NFL.

I saw this kit and other people’s review so took a gamble and it has turned out to be a good one. After a couple of applications the ball is nice and grippy and as an extra bonus the ball is now turning the nice dark colour I had hoped.

If you havent tried this product for your leather footballs, you will absolutely love it! This gives your football a nice tacky grip without being messy and it takes care of the leather. Try it out!

The brush is just that, a brush, and the tack bar is really a waist. My QBs do not like the tack. It is too much money for a brush which is all you are actually getting that us usable.

Bought this ball for an adult flag football league and we love it. Another team I play on tried it and asked me to get one for that team too. Great tack and feels great to throw and catch. The white lines on the ball make that tight spiral look even better.

This ball isn’t too small or too big, though it IS full sized (for college which is slightly bigger than the NFL ball). Highly Recommended.
