I have had great success with this product for many seasons. I use it as a mist spray bottle and apply it all over my hunting clothes as a cover scent. Effective enough so a deer walks right up to my ground blind and nuzzles my outstretched hand.

Put the product out. They ate the corn and never were drawn to the product. Never saw another deer for another 10 days. Tried 6years ago and they spooked

Didn’t work at all. Bought 2 bags and tried in 2 separate locations. No deer even came. Waste of time and money.

This is an incredible product. I bought a bag to give it a shot and see if it would live up to the reputation it had in our area. I was not disappointed. I decided to make it tough, so I just dumped a bag out in an open field (not on any regluar trail) and put a trail cam on a T-Post to see if anything happened.

Deer were all over it from night one. I hunted over the same field so I could watch what happened in daylight and that’s when I became a true believer. While in the stand, a hot doe ran across the field and passed over the Buck Bourbon pile.

Seconds later, a buck came out of the woods chasing her. He was grunting and nose to the ground, looking for love. To my complete amazement, as soon as he got to the pile of Buck Bourbon, he STOPPED COLD and started eating.

I could not believe he picked Buck Bourbon instead of the doe he was chasing seconds earlier. I buy lots of this stuff now, it brings them in and holds them there.

First, I am a huge fan and user of Buck Bourbon supplemental feed. Left that review too. Amazing product and dollar for dollar, best value on the market. Unfortunately I’ve tried this repeatedly (over months) and see deer stop, sample and avoid.

Just rots on the ground, while deer eat LOADs of the supplemental feed nearby 2x daily like clockwork. I believe in this company and their other feed. Not sure why this didn’t grab them by the tongue.

Almost zero germination in a soil tested plot, prepped with a fence drag with immediate water. Good rain and supplemental sprinklers from then on. The weeds have eventually come back now 3 weeks later.

Planted this 4/28 in ohio. The seeds did not see rain for a few days after planting. The product is coming up but because of the slow growth rate the weeds are overtaking the plot. As of 7/10 the deer are always in it however it doesn’t seem much of a magnet to them.

Hoping for better results next go around.

Product did will from a germination standpoint and deer really liked it. Withstood some serious drought and is well suited for Texas climate and various soil types. Issue I have with it was and still is the very high Inert matter of over 30% That means there is 30% of a mystery item or items in each bag.

In my humble opinion the Whitetail Institute should really clean up their seed. Inert matter should be in single digits!.

Bought a small property mostly wooded area with a little clearing. Have seen a couple deer and other wildlife. Have used other products over the Years and nothing has worked like this. with in two of days of putting this out.

I had 300 pictures on my camera and has brought out some nice bucks from hiding. These deer are not being hunted. On this property little safe hideaway to live there life’s out happily. Hope to see the grow over the next few years.

Saw some reviews on BB 110 and figured I would give it a go. I literally put 2 of the 8lb bags out and also poured a jug of the Old Fashioned and within an hour of leaving, my camera went crazy. This product has pulled in 10 and 14 point bucks that I had no idea were in the area.

All I have been seeing are little 4 and 6 pointers. I am going to buy the 25lb bag and a block now!! This stuff is AMAZING!!.

Dusted a small amount on the trail where bucks and doe visit multiple times per day. Cell cam footage confirms, that deer have avoided the scent for the second day. Smells like cinnamon, licorice, of cloves.

Was marked down at TSC.

I bought this for my 10 year who like to hunt. It’s much better then the other deer hunting game he had. The graphics are pretty good too. You can play multi player or single. It also has shooting range for practice.

Overall this is one of the best hunting games.

The crossbow is what you’d expect for its price. Very good for hunting a spot where you know where the deer will be. It is way too bulky and heavy to move around to much, making bait pile hunting practical.

The biggest complaint I have about it the the metal rod that holds the bolt to the crossbow. Right out of the box it was very lose and even a year later didn’t even touch the bolt, creating what lead to it breaking.

I was de-cocking it when the de-cocking bolt slid out of the bow, but when it happened, I was in the middle of pulling the trigger, causing the string to meet the bolt half way down, knocking a silencer of and cracking a rim.

Now I am about a week away from the rut without a bow.

I bought this for around $140 while on clearance and feel that should have been the starting retail price. This was very confusing with instructions on how to install the cheap plastic rail slide. Its actually a lot heavier than it looks and bulky.

Seeing as there are hardly any moving parts, I don’t see how manufacturers justify the price tag on most compound crossbows. I think the price i got it for is what its probably worth and higher on that spectrum and borderline over priced.

Don’t pay a penny more than I did. I found it to be wildly impractical for anything except hunting. The bolts slow down a bit when hitting an archery target block and all the way out the back. First time using it the neighbors called the police.

It is very intimidating lookin and thats why I liked it so much with that tactical look. I found there is no where I can legally shoot it either and isn’t allowed at archery ranges or on public lands.

I loved the idea but didn’t keep it long due to the restrictions surrounding such a weapon.

I bought two of these. The crossbow itself is great. Shoots fast and hits hard. Accurate. Easy to assemble and operate. The scope will work but is not the best. By the time you get it sighted in there is not much adjustment left in the elevation.

It will however get the job done. The bolts are straight and shoot straight but the glue that holds the fletching, inserts and nocks in is pathetic. The very first shot I took, the fletching came right off the bolt.

I loaded the second bolt and the same thing happened on the first shot. I glued them back on and they stayed. I took a few more shots and one of the inserts that holds the field point in came flying out of one and the nock out of the other.

All in all it is a great crossbow but be prepared to buy better bolts and eventually a better quality scope but don’t let that keep you from buying this bow. A very good deal for the crossbow itself.

You just can’t beat it for the price.

I’ve been putting in food plots for 6 years now and using a variety of products. Started using Whitetail clover about 4 years ago and decided last year to plant nothing but their clover because the deer LOVE it.

They walk past 20 acres of alfalfa to get to the plots. They are always on the clover plots from spring to freeze up. They eat it down to the ground before winter sets in. Then, the amazing thing is that if we get a mid-winter thaw here in Wisconsin, this stuff starts to push sprouts up and they are out there eating any growth/green that they can get at.

Unbelievable! Anyway, the 30 or so years of research that Whitetail Institute has put into the development of their products has proven to me that they are the ones with the knowledge and know-how to do it right.

NO, I don’t work for them or know anyone there, I’m simply a fan of theirs. So, do yourself a favor. Prep your land properly, plant it, mow it when the weeds start taking over, mow it again later in the season to again take the weeds down before they reseed.

Mow it for the same purpose the second season. before the weeds reseed! Walla, you have a 5 or 6 year food plot that will pull deer to your land! I’ve found that the cost of the seed is the cheapest part of the whole process.

if your sweat equity means anything to you. I tried to cheap-out by buying less expensive products from the Co-op or other companies and had bad results so at the end of the season you step back and say da*n, all that work and this is the result? Buy good seed!.

I put the lime down in the fall of the year and in February I threw the clover seed down along with he fertilizer on the rocky hilly ground in the ozark’s without any tilling I let it frost seed in. By May the clover was up about a foot high and the deer and turkey we’re all over it.

I seeded the clover a lot heaver than recommend, 18 lbs to the acre to give it a great start. And every month I would spray plot start on it and mow it.

In the past few years I have tried 22 different clovers and clover blends, each in their own food plot. I spray GLY 4 and kill off everything and a week later I come in and put on some lime and 19-19-19 fertilizer and then broadcast the seed.

A light drag afterwards and call it done. The germination of this stuff is phenomenal and the deer come to this plot before anything else. They absolutely love it. The highly palatable clover leads to much higher consumption rate has lead to a huge difference in antler growth and big improvement in body condition and a lot more fawns hitting the ground this year.

Where as we use to pretty much get 1 fawn from each doe, we are now mostly twins and a few triplets, and a big part of the reason is this clover. The difference in antler growth is astonishing. Don’t waste time or money on anything else.

I started using this block when it first came out. Deer loved it. Yes it was hard but didn’t stop the deer. Have pics from start to finish. Supply was very limited last couple of years. This year I purchased 10 blocks.

Something has changed. Rain causes them to melt into a pile. Way too soft. Would I recommend it. Yes and no.

Deer and turkeys love it. Placed block in an area only reached by boat that racoons would normally clean up corn quickly. Pics of deer and turkeys feeding on it as well as a little corn and sweet feed i,d scattered around it.

When I checked area after 2 weeks block had been totaly eaten so placed another. Muzzle loader within a week so got to keep the deer happy!.

I’ve been buying this block for about 4 months. Up until two weeks ago the deer were demolishing it. I was going through at least one block per week. I purchased two blocks a couple of weeks ago. The deer did not touch them.

They tried, it seemed the block was too hard for them. I bought a third block with same results. I tried soaking the block in a bucket of water to soften it up. They ate the soft part and left the rest.

Maybe the recipe changed or a bad batch, I don’t know. The deer and I are feeling disappointed now.
