Best Deep Conditioner Relaxed Hair (2024 Updated)

For reference: I have LONG hair with a naturally wavy/curly texture, and with that comes frizz. A lot of it – even though I’m very aware of how to tame it (naturally kept or with a blow-out). My hair behaves weirdly, i’ll just put it that way – it’s difficult to achieve perfectly smooth styles.

HOWEVER. I’ve been using OUAI products (I started with the THICK SHAMP+THICK COND. ) for a little bit over a year now & all I can say is. I will NEVER go back to anything else, ever, unless I find something AS extraordinary as this brand.

It’s like magic in a bottle, to me at least. I have never experienced better hair (at home, done by me) in my entire life. It’s insanely smooth & silky. I have such minimal frizz now. I normally need to blow dry AND straighten my hair, but I am beyond satisfied with just the blow-dried results.

The only cons, I would say, is that because there’s such rich and moisturizing ingredients (love to see it!) your hair can become a tad oily after the third day, even second sometimes. You just need to figure out what the right amount of product is for you so that you don’t over do it.

The second con, though it’s nothing too crazy, would be that sometimes I end up needing more product in the shower, as it doesn’t lather suuuuper well – but again, this depends on hair length and the amount that you know you need.

I guess I just wish it foamed a bit more, is all. BUT these are such small things that can be resolved & aren’t much of a big deal. Thank you OUAI x times a million <3 I hope these formula's never change! :) BEST CHOICE I'VE EVER MADE FOR MY HAIR !.

I do not have fine or thin hair, but it isn’t course or thick – I just have a lot of it. Because of that I struggle with volume at the roots and most shampoos and conditions either clean my hair and leave me with a dry scalp and flat hair, or it is weighted down and gets oily quick.

No matter what, I always have to use a volumizer and still dont achieve the hairs goals I dream of. FINALLY! The hair of my dreams has arrived!!!! (Actually, I am still working on growing it out) I took their quiz on Ouai’s website and was recommended the medium shampoo & conditioner.

I went with my gut after reading the ingredients/goals and got the fine shampoo & conditioner. MY FOREVER DUO! I have used this combo and both air dried my hair and blow-dried my hair. Each time my results were amazing!!!! Naturally air-drying my hair left me with loads of body and volume and not only looked healthy, clean and bouncy – but it also felt amazing and smelled wonderful.

When I blow-dried my hair, I had so much volume and it did not fall at all. I wash my hair twice a week and have to use dry shampoo and with this combo I made it through workouts and sleeping crazy and still had clean hair.

That is a FIRST!!! I switched to the Super Dry Shampoo before turning their shampoo/conditioner and loved it. now I don’t even have to use it unless I want a little refresh but overall I am good to go.

I am so happy with the results from this shampoo and the whole Ouai line.

Buy this! Remove the other shampoo you have in your cart while your reading reviews debating which $30-$50 shampoo is better. I’ve been there reading reviews wondering maybe the $50 shampoo is magical.

I love me some Living proof and Olaplex believe me. I bought this and will not go back. I don’t even know how to pronounce the name of this shampoo but buy it. It has a light/ med rose scent. But the shampoo left my hair soft before I used the conditioner.

The conditioner was amazing it felt like my hair melted into silk. I also used the hair mask for thick hair, but honestly I think the regular conditioner made my hair feel smoother. I have super curly FRIZZY hair which I straighten 5 of 7 days a week.

My hair feels great like that left the salon great. Buy this, I don’t know who’s leaving bad reviews on this. They must be angry people who can be made happy by anything, or they don’t like the color, smell, the shape of the bottle of something else that has nothing to do with the actual product.

I never leave reviews but I’m telling you buy this delete that other shampoo out of your cart and buy this.

Honey no! Not the formulation for my superfine natural coily locks. They prefer the Lightweight Conditioner which is magical for my hair. It’s left hydrated and soft with the Lightweight formulation.

I really believe that hair type has everything to do with how well the Pattern conditioners work. It only costs $9 to try the different formulations which is great, making it easier to choose the right one for your hair before you make a big investment.

If this didn’t work well, try the Lightweight. I’m glad that I did! Now there’s a Medium Conditioner. I’ll have to check it out although I’m very content with the Lightweight. Perhaps the Medium would be good for days when I stress my locks out by flat ironing, swimming, hard workouts etc.

This conditioner is heaven! Not only that but the Jumbette size is a huge lifesaver. I had been procrastinating ordering and knew I was getting down to the last drop. My life has been pretty hectic lately and I had skipped a couple wash days and my hair was suffering.

Finally around 10pm last night I found time to do my whole wash routine. Get in the shower did the clarifying wash – which is also fantastic. Go to grab the conditioner and remember I forgot to order a new one.

Popped the lid off stuck my hand in gave and gave it a little swivel and ta-da! I had a whole handful of conditioner! Whoever thought of this packaging is a genius! Is a master among none! I cannot be thankful enough for the wide mouth on this bottle – it saved me and my hair from drastic dehydration.

I am a fair-skinned redhead with fine, very curly hair (corkscrew curls, pencil to Sharpie diameter). I bought the Pattern 3-conditioner sampler, so I could see what works best for me. My hair has been dry lately, due to hypothyroidism, and I wash it more in the summer.

So I need good hydration! Anyway. If you have fine hair, do not be afraid to try the “Intensive” conditioner!! Even though this is an intensive conditioner — kind of like a “hair mask” — it is not too heavy for my fine hair.

I find that it hydrates beautifully, and after being rinsed out and then paired with a curl-defining leave-in cream, my curls are very defined, shiny, bouncy (not at all weighed-down), and frizz-resistant.

even in hot, humid, rainy Maryland summer weather. I’m very happy with this, and can’t wait to try the Heavy and Medium conditioners. My hair has different needs depending on the time of year, weather, and my activities.

So it will be interesting to experiment with all three. I also look forward to trying the leave-in curl cream. Another important note: I am very sensitive to perfumey, over-fragranced products. That’s not a problem with this conditioner.

It smells nice (NOT overpowering) when using it, and then the fragrance fades. So it won’t clash with your cologne or make you sneeze! I’m loving this line of products so far! Please keep carrying Pattern products!.

This stuff works for low porosity hair. My oldest has hair that gets dry so easily. Her thick tight coils do so well with this conditioner, I do add a little oil in the winter to the conditioner and it really makes her hair soft and manageable.

My youngest has a bird’s nest of loopy, tangled curls. Both her roots and ends get matted and tangled. This conditioner softens up the ends and gives enough slip to detangle her hair down to the scalp.

I use this in the dead of New England winters for my roller sets. It’s so moisturizing my sets come out curly, soft, and defined. It was a great investment for our household.

I’ve been a faithful Mielle customer for years now and this deep conditioner has been my go-to for a while. I purchased several jars of the deep conditioner and a few other products during this year’s sale.

I was looking forward to using the products but was very disappointed with my delivery when it arrived. All of the deep conditioners I purchased smell, look, and feel different than the product I buy in stores and have used for over a year.

The consistency of the conditioners I was sent is a lot thicker than normal. It is more creamy and has a lot less slip than usual. The conditioner is supposed to be white in color but in two of the jars the product is yellow.

YELLOW!! And none of the products have the mint smell that they typically do. In fact, they smell like chemicals. I am beyond disappointed with this delivery. The products I was sent are clearly old or have been contaminated and I will not be purchasing them again.

I usually love this hair mask but I ordered for the first time two of the Babassu Hair masks directly from Mielle. One didn’t have a proper seal but the product was ok, not runny, and the second one, had a seal that was lifted and the product is very runny.

Both were send to me together in the same box. I sent an email to customer service asking for a replacement for just one because it was very runny and the product is not working on my hair the way it usually does.

I was so happy and excited because this doesn’t have isopropyl alcohol and my hair is already very dry. I’ve used it so far two times and today I look at the ingredients and sure enough it’s not the same as on the Ulta web/app.

They have now added isopropyl alcohol and other damaging ingredients. It’s a 10 was so great when they first came out but they got greedy. They’ve changed ingredients in all their products and add bad fillers to make more product, and has formaldehyde releasers.

They might be cruelty free, but they obviously don’t care about our health, as long as it’s making them money.

Honestly this review is not about the ITS A 10 MirACLE. I couldn’t find any information about this product, HAIR PlUS I don know if any of you have heard about it? Ok, but this is a really game changer , I had so much damage on ma hair do to too much dyed and bleaching my hair.

And because of this and part of my immune system desease. I completely lost so much hair and is thinning. But since I started using this products they have help me tremendously in repairing my hair, it grew super long and strong.

It took me about a year to grew my hair. This products are natural, and chemical free. So if you are loosing hair or just trying to repair it to its health back. I really recommend this hair products.

I was on a search to find something that would work on my COVID hair? Since I couldn’t get to the salon to have highlights, I colored my hair at home. And it’s awful! It turned every color except what it was supposed to? Even orange and green! Of course, I kept putting different colors on trying to fix what I had screwed up.

Now it’s very dry and still 3 different colors! I’ve tried numerous expensive shampoos and conditioners to NO avail. I even got 6” cut off last month and still can’t get a comb through my wet hair. But Miracle 10 is truly a Miracle! No problem combing it out now and it looks great when dry without looking dried out.

It’s still 3 colors but now it looks healthy!.

I used to use this product back before they did all the confusing rebranding and when they had one product simply called: 3 minute miracle. No ‘moist’ or ‘curly’ – just 3 minute miracle. It was fragrance free.

It was AMAZING. Truly the best conditioner I’ve ever used. After trying many other ‘fancier’ conditioners, I’ve tried coming back to this but I don’t think it’s quite the same. Even the consistency is less think.

The ‘moist’ version is what I assume is closest to the original but it’s not the amazing conditioner it used to be. Really really which they’d bring that ‘classic’ formula back. Sigh.

I have always been flexible as far as what shampoo and conditioner I buy. I don’t feel like one has been any better than another, EXCEPT for this conditioner. This is the only one that really deeply conditions my hair and makes it feel like silk afterwards, and I have been consistently buying it for many years.

Every now and then I’ll buy another conditioner brand, and while most work fine, they just don’t leave the same quality of moisture in my hair and I can absolutely tell the difference. I love the dispenser of this too, and how it’s already an “upside down” style bottle so you’re not shaking the ever loving bananas of a half used bottle trying to get the conditioner to come down into the nozzle.

I always buy in a two pack and really should stock up so I never run out! Highly recommend.

I keep a minimum of 3 bottles of this on hand at all times! I have one in the shower and one bottle in each of the other bathrooms. I use it to keep my curly hair from looking frizzy. So after I get out of the shower and also on my dry hair, I will put about the size of a quarter dollap of this condtioner in my left hand, then rub my hands together and work the conditioner into every strand I can ! It really works and my hair does not feel greasy.

I tend to use conditioner on my naturally wavy to curly hair, before or after I shampoo, as needed. This Colour Safe conditioner is made with Certified organic Shea Butter, Honey, Mafura and Boabab oils to “restore manageability, nourish and condition dry, brittle hair”.

This Shea Moisture conditioner comes in a pump bottle, so the product is easier to get out of the bottle. I left this nourishing conditioner on my hair for a few minutes, before rinsing it off with cool water.

I experienced no irritation on my scalp or skin. The fragrance of this Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Conditioner is a little too strong for me, but less potent than the matching Shampoo.

This conditioner left my hair detangled, manageable, shiny, and soft. My curls looked defined, and my hair was easy to style. I recommend this product to people with dry and/or curly hair who are looking for a moisturizing conditioner.

My hair used to be normal but after birth of my kids and developing thyroid problems my hair gets very very dry and rough. And look so damaged. Not every shampoo works for me. But I was so happy that after trying this shampoo, this became one of the products that works wonders for me.

This Shampoo is sulfate free and cruelty-free. It leathers well and leave a pleasant honey scent. The scent is a bit overpowering so if you are sensitive to strong smell then it will be a little irritating for you.

Other then that it works wonder. My hair felt soft and manageable but also note that this product will work if we use it with conditioner. I highly recommend this. I love all Pantene products when it comes to hair care they know what there doing, but I specifically use the truly relaxed. I love how it leaves my hair feeling smooth and smelling amazing, also it helps my hair stay hydrated and healthy.

Not to long ago I made a failed attempt at bleaching my hair and it left my hair so damaged. Like I was crying you guys no kidding I thought I was gonna have to cut my hair to my shoulders, and that would of been a huge blow to me because it took so much time and patience and alot of work to grow it at the length it is at right now.

But I decided to wait and see if I could remidee this problem. I liked everything about this shampoo. It’s thick and lathers extremely well. The smell of the shampoo is satisfying. It helped my hair to grow and provides hair to look healthy, feel soft, and added shine.

I got to try Pantene Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Hydrating conditioner and I would recommend it to anyone who wants soft hair that smells pretty. I have used Pantene products before and I have been very happy with the conditioners that I have tried.

After using the shampoo that matches this conditioner, I feel that my hair is so moisturized that I barely need any conditioner at all. I do have shorter hair right now and I use a small drop of the conditioner and that seems like plenty for me.

I have used other shampoos that have left my hair so dry and stripped feeling that I needed to pile on the conditioner just to get it to feel not like straw. I mainly use this for some protection from heat from the blow dryer and static prevention.

These are a great combo product to use together. You won’t be disappointed with the softening and detangling that you get from this conditioner, and it smells wonderful. I will purchase in the future and also recommend this to others.

I bought this on a whim. I was running low on my normal deep conditioner and tried out a new one that my hair absolutely hated. I saw this in Wal-Mart and figured why not? I have type 4 hair (4C in the nape, 4b in the crown), with medium density, and medium porosity and when I tell you this deep conditioner defined curls and waves in a way that I NEVER knew was possible without a styler.

It’s absolutely a new and permanent staple in my regimen. I have no clue how ORS came up with this one, but I love it. I was a little fearful at first when I saw it had rice water (my hair didn’t like that trend lol) but it’s a balance of protein and moisture that my hair can get behind.

The definition was super helpful when I trimmed my own hair, it was easy to see each curl and cut off the split ends (yes, I trimmed my hair curl by curl with this stuff). I legit hope ORS makes the Max Moisture Super Softening Deep Treatment Conditioner forever.

I really hope the stores have enough sense to stay stocked so that ORS knows it’s worth the production budget.

Let me start off by saying that my hair doesn’t take kindly to most of the products that I put in my hair, it always feels dry. I was introduced to this product from my hair club subscription last month and I just have to say, Thank you ORS for having my hair type (whatever that is, it’s like a 3b-3d) in mind.

I started my natural hair journey in 2018 and I have struggled to find a product that would “play nice” with my low porosity 3c/4a curls and coils. I wanted something that was moisturizing, hydrating, and something that smelled good because I tend to get migraines.

I don’t usually review products but this treatment is amazing. I have bleached, 3A curly, dry hair. I use olaplex for the damage and deva algae mask. My hair feels totally transformed. I use a clarifying shampoo and comb this through.

I let it dry and sleep with it in overnight. My hair drank this right up. Not greasy or sitting on top of the hair like other conditioners. My curls are soft and shiny and the straw like texture is gone.

I highly recommend this for dry, brittle and processed hair. Thank you mixed chicks!.

I absolutely ADORE this conditioner. I have very thick hair and usually have a blend of ringlet, tighter curls-but as of late my hair became so matted and dry it could barely hold a wave. After one use it made such a significant difference that even took notice to my colleagues! It smells nice, I haven’t struggled with any buildup, and my curls are softer and bouncier than ever! I’m very glad that I had purchased this and am excited to try more Mixed Chicks products!.

I’ve only used this mask once and I really like it! Can’t wait to use the rest of it again soon. My blonde highlights and hair in general was getting so dry I decided to try this since nothing else was working and voilà it did! The cream/ mask does have a weird chemical smell to it at first, kinda like you broke a bottle of insulin and then tried to cover it up by using citrus? At least to me that’s the smell.

But luckily the smell washes off hands easily and once you rinse out your hair & it dries the smell is gone so idk. But wow does my hair feel moisturized today I’m glad I broke down and bought this mask.

I bought these as my hair is quite damaged and it needed deep conditioning. I have used Hask Argan oil before and it was great, so thought I’d try their deep conditioner. It was also half price, so that was a bonus! It was a very thick deep conditioner so I didn’t need to use much for my long thick hair (the packet also states 2-3 uses per packet).

My hair feels softer & smoother and less dry. However, The smell is so strong and really lingers in your hair. It’s awful! I personally really don’t like the fragrance. I don’t think I’ll buy again unless it’s on sale.

I didn’t feel like making the extra trip to get my usual Moroccan oil hair mask so I picked this up at target. It’s cheap, and I have medium length hair and will get 2 uses out of it. My hair is processed and I’ve been swimming in salt water a lot, and in the sun a lot so my hair needed some moisture.

This packet did the trick! It feels hydrated but not weighted down. However the smell , I don’t care for at all. It almost smells Smokey, it’s hard to describe but it’s yuck. Luckily it’s not overally strong.

I wouldn’t buy it again.

My hair is left soft, smooth and Silky with each use. It also does a fantastic job at taming the frizz and fly-aways. This daily Miracle Rescue is fairly lightweight, leaving my curls with some bounce.

I also absolutely love the scent. All Pantene products are vegan and affordable. 👎CONS👎 As with literally every other hair product I’ve ever used, I cannot use it everyday. I can use it for 4 days (longer than others), then my scalp has an oily appearance by the end of the night.

Pantene claims to be cruelty-free, but have read several articles saying this is false. This honestly has no negative impact on me either way. But if they’re misleading their customers about this, then what else? 😁BOTTOM LINE😁 I will continue to use thus in my hair care rotation.

Today I had the opportunity to experience the new Pantene Pro V MIRACLE RESCUE Deep Conditioning Treatment product. While the product packaging is pretty, the product texture luxurious, and the smell is lovely.

its package marketing leaves me confused at best. On the back of the tube, it first states ‘weightless conditioning preps hair for faster dry time*’ and inserts the * for later reference. I am unsure to begin why ‘faster dry time’ is promoted using this method.

It neither references this on the front of the packaging nor in any advertising material that I have experienced. Second, the * reference later in the paragraph states *vs non-conditioning shampoo. Why am I being asked to compare a conditioner against a shampoo?!?! This makes no sense to me and left me feeling a loss of trust as it pertains to the relationship that I have with Pantene as a whole.

Pantene, overall a decent conditioning product however I would refrain from using the words ‘deep conditioning’ (the instructions state to only leave on for 1 to 3 minutes), miracle (no miracle here, just a fantastic regular conditioner in my opinion), or any mention of faster drying time.

Unless of course that is the primary advertising tactic. I can see a more ‘weighted’ product lending to longer drying time for thicker hair textures. For me though (and my finer hair texture), this is no selling point, especially given it not being referenced any where else.

Pantene’s Pro V Miracle Rescue Deep Conditioning Treatment from their Miracle Rescue line promises intense moisture over a regular conditioner for those with dried out or damaged hair, with powerful ingredients such as pro-vitamin B5, strengthening lipids, and protective antioxidants.

I was very excited to try this product because I have very long, very fine, dry hair that is frizzy and damaged near the ends. I was looking for a product that would smooth my hair and give it shine without weighing it down because my hair also lacks volume due to its length.

Since this product says it is “lightweight enough for use with every wash,” I thought this was the perfect choice! The product says to start at the tips and work toward the roots, which I did, and leave on for about three minutes in the shower.

The smell, like most Pantene products, was amazing! It’s not really overpowering though, it just smells really good. I found it very easy to rinse out as well. I let my hair air dry because my hair is way too long and tangled to try and brush while wet.

I found this product definitely helped keep me hair tangle-free. It was much easier to brush through than usual. Even after one use, it was very obvious my hair was smoother and shinier than usual. I was very impressed.

To me it worked like a hair mask would and left my hair less frizzy. I definitely loved the results! I did not notice any weighing down of my hair either and I used this multiple times a week as well.

My only issue with this product is, if you are someone who can get oily hair with certain products, you may have to be careful with this. One time after using this I went to bed without letting my hair fully dry and I woke up with my hair looking like an oily mess.

If I let my hair fully dry, no problem at all. It’s just when I use this and don’t let my hair fully dry before going to bed that it causes a problem. Overall, this product lives up to its promise and I will definitely be repurchasing.

It also made me curious about the other products in the Miracle Rescue line because my hair clearly loves them! Looking forward to smoother, hydrated hair!.

This shampoo and conditioner are the only ones I use! This is because the shampoo cleans but doesn’t strip my hair. I use a lot of product in my hair like oils, lotions and sprays and this fights all of that buildup removing it completely from my hair and scalp while strengthens my ends leaving my hair clean and strong with absolutely no weigh down afterwords.

I love and trust this shampoo so much that I use it on my 2yr old daughters extra curly hair as well, which gathers q ton of buildup throughout the week but on wash day works perfectly! Plus, it seems to be tear free as she doesn’t scream if some gets in her eyes (she hates hair wash day lol) The formula in this shampoo rinses quickly and cleanly leaving all hair types a little better than before the wash.

I highly HIGHLY recommend this product not to mention the price is amazing about $4 each!!.

This product is great foamy hair textures. Me, my fiance and my step daughter all used this product. And we all got the same result. Our hair was moisturized and soft after using it. The scent lasted in all three of our hair.

And we all had the same result of easy distribution of the product. I loving this line because it works on a range of different hair types. My step daughter had almost no curl pattern but it shrinks up.

My fiance has very fine hair but it’s very curly. And I have relaxed hair. And we all got great results using it.

A shampoo that also moisturizes your hair while cleaning it is rare! This is probably the best ORS product that I have ever used! The shampoo also has some mint in it to give that nice tingly feeling on the scalp as you wash your hair! I definitely recommend.

I plan to repurchase after getting through the rest of my hair product stash.

I absolutely love this product! This saved my curls so much! I regrettably bleached my curly hair a few months back and lost my beautiful curl pattern. I hated it so much that I dyed my hair a chocolate brown color.

With my curls losing its elasticity, I decided to use Perfect Locks deep conditioner & I saw an immediate difference in my hair. It was less frizzy and curls started to show. After a month of using this product on my wash days (every Sunday after shampooing my hair), my hair has gotten a lot curlier, the frizz has subsided, & looks healthier! I used this conditioner on some hair that was tangled and very dry. It did a superb job changing the hair to soft, hydrated and beautiful. Then I used the conditioner on my very best hair piece which was not in bad shape.

I simply didn’t leave it on as long. The results were exactly what I had hoped for – nicely revived hair, but not limp.

This mask is great, never disappoints. I purchase so many masks from beauty supplies and majority of them either feel too heavy or coat my fine hair too much. From moment it is put on hair feels sleek.

Novex as a brand makes some of the best silicone free hair masks on the market. In order to combat frizz and grow my hair longer, I use the Brazilian method of shampoo, hair mask for 3 minutes and then finish with a conditioner.

I used Noxex when I was trying out silicone free hair products and when I went back to regular hair products. I have fine 2a/b What makes this mask way better than the other hair masks I’ve tried is that it’s moisturizing, detangles fast and gets rid of frizz all without silicone and other heavy ingredients.

You also get a generous amount in the tub and at a fair price. The size of this product is about a mason jar. Scent is extremely mild and light. I would describe it as refreshing/floral/green. Texture is like a light pudding.

It’s easy to spread and it rinses out quickly. I’ve used both drugstore and salon products and this brand of masks is one of the things I won’t be without. :).

I have naturally blonde hair with highlights from the sun. My hair is very healthy and thick with a little natural wave, but it has always been a tangled mess after I shampoo and condition it. Anyways, I purchased 4 different types of leave in milks and conditioners, some priced triple the cost of this one.

However, this is the one! My hair glided right through leaving only 3 small strands of hair on the floor compared to a fist full. Just put it on your hair wet and let it set for a few minutes prior to brushing.

Great products that are mainly made with natural ingredients. Curly girl friendly: free of parabens, silicones and sulfates. Shampoo: great smell works well to cleanse your hair however, have to use alot to get a good lather if you’re a person that likes seeing a lather.

Definitely not stripping to the hair however. Conditioner: great smell, has a silky consistency with great slip. Very hydrating to the hair and on it’s own promotes definition too! Leave in conditioner: great smell, a little goes a long way.

Veryyyyyyyyy hydrating to your hair and gives it and extra shine. Has good hold to your hair and wash and go can last up to a week using this product only. Great curl definition too. Also hair feels very soft when dried with no crunch.
