Best Decks For Archer Queen Launch Party (2024 Updated)

We’ve recently purchased this game to play as a family, we enjoy it. It’s a fun game, but isn’t an extremely fun game. Its definitely more fun with 4-5 players, I find it sort of boring personally with only 1 player.

Good game night game, my children 6 years to 17 years old really enjoy it and we usually play it a couple times on game night. They definitely seem to enjoy it a lot more than myself. The game is 2-5 players (because there are only 4 exploding kittens in the deck), but you can buy two games to make it playable for more people.

However, I noticed after buying this game there is also a party addition game that is pkayable for up to 10 players I believe for only a few more dollars, that’s a better value if you need this game for more than 5 players.

I absolutely LOVE exploding kittens! I am 25 years old and love playing this game with my friends. It is perfect for two people or a larger group of people. It is similar to UNO, but with a twist! For any new players who don’t know how to play, I usually show them the instructional YouTube video, so explaining the game is really easy.

I HIGHLY recommend getting the two expansions (imploding kittens and streaking kittens). If you don’t want to get both, I recommend adding the imploding kittens expansion first. The reason you can’t play with more than the max number of players is due to the limit of defuse cards and exploding kitten cards.

However, a game hack to play with more players is to select one of the the generic kitten cards (taco cat) and tell players to use them as defuses for the game. Additionally, if a player is eliminated from an exploding kitten, add the exploding kitten back into the deck at random (normally you are supposed to take it out).

Repeat this until there is one fewer exploding kitten than number of players.

Pros 1. The racing car logo on the top is really attractive. Head turner when you take it to the park 2. The built is pretty strong and it seems like it could withstand some rough use. 3. This is a manual skateboard.

Don’t expect it to take you with the push of a button 🙂 4. I don’t do stunts on the skateboard. So I don’t know how it will fare with that. YMMV. Cons 1. None really. I like it. Overall rating 5/5.

I got this Credhedz – Ice Cream Skateboard for my daughter I’m so happy I did. She absolutely loves it, the colors are so bright and beautiful and very creative. Can be rode on or for me I’d use it for wall art it’s gorgeous.

I recommend these to everyone my daughter loves hers I’ll definitely be buying another my son wants one now. Pretty cool board thanks for a great product.

Every game is lots of fun and laughs. The whole family enjoys. Great game for young adults. Make sure you can handle being mocked for flinching or the way you perform the gorilla, groundhog, and narwhal cards.

For some strange reason, our family makes strange noises for the gorilla and narwhal every time. It makes the game a bit more interesting. It gets really funny when people pound their head instead of their chest for the gorilla.

It was very fun watching our two young married couples play this for the first time. I wish I would have videoed that one. Beware: some people get a little aggressive in slapping hands. We have had a few scrapes from fingernails and pain from slapping too hard, but it is still worth playing.

We sometimes play a quiet version to encourage less aggressive slapping of the hands.

I own two copies of this game – one for my house and one for my purse. It’s fast-paced and fun with simple rules but still challenging. It’s very quick to learn and each playthrough is a blast! We mix it up sometimes by only allowing non-dominant hands.

I keep a deck in my purse for entertainment with the kids when we’re out. The new version is in a slightly larger box but the old version is perfectly portable. At our last game night we played it two separate times – as in we brought it back out after playing a couple other games.

Needed a new game for family night and this did not disappoint. A fellow Target customer over heard my daughter and I say the name of the game out loud and ask each other what it was and her and her daughter said it was such a good game.

They did not lie. We had so many laughs and pauses because our tummies hurt from laughing so hard. Do yourself a favor and purchase this game for urself and as gifts. It won’t disappoint.

This is the 3rd board I got from Backfire. I really like Backfire’s quality and their service. I normally ride the two electric boards with my kid together and had a lot of fun, but if I am in the mood for a non-electric one day, I would like to do some push.

Galaxy and the Panda are really nice board for the price!.

Another great coop game and a must have in your repertoire for both a quick and simple 2-player or an interesting group game. If you’ve played it’s sequel desert or similar coop games like pandemic you’ll love this and get the groove quickly.

The roles are simple and varied, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. However, I must say I underestimated how brutal the pace can be in this one. I’ve never lost in all the pandemic games I’ve played but this one killed us first time.

There are so very many ways to lose and a lot of fire-fighting (well drowning) to be done. Really nice artwork on each tile and your board is always different so replayability is high. The flow of play is quick and you easily find yourself wanting to play a second round as soon as you’ve finished.

Bought a copy of this for both our 7 and 10 year old to play. I had a solo playthrough first to learn the rules before teaching it to them and I’ve gotta say, it’s fantastic!!! Easy to learn, quick to play and the tension really ramps up as the game goes on.

In case you don’t know, this is a co-op game (playing against the game not each other) that can be played with 1 to 4 players. Yes, thats right, 1 player can play this alone, which is exactly what our boys have been doing once they learned the rules.

Just pick two characters and get stuck in. And they’ve both been loving it. So much so, I’ve had to buy a second copy to stop them arguing over it. Really can’t recommend this game enough, it is so much fun and the replay value is crazy high.

are your a fan of the forbidden series of games? if so, then definitely get this one. if you’re not familiar with it, then listen up. this game is about 30 min and takes very little time to set up. the story line is a bit lacking, but then again it’s meant to be quick and easy.

how is the gameplay? well that is where this game shines. cooperative games are always fun, and this one is no exception. you battle your way through sinking landscapes to gather pieces of a treasure.

it’s easy to teach kids that are familiar with board games already, and it’s fun for adults too.

I love playing Phase 10, that’s why my old cards needed to be replaced. They held up through my parents playing with them then those cards were passed down to me. years and years and years of use. I hope the new set is as durable.

I was expecting to get the old-style cards with the vivid colors and numbers in the upper left corner as pictured. What I did receive was the newer design that has yellow cards that are a bit hard on the eyes, the old-style has more of a butterscotch color and is easier on the eyes.

I also noticed that these cards are just a smidge smaller than my old cards. Because I play so much, I thought I felt a difference, so I measured them against my cards as well as regular playing cards.

In the picture the newer design Phase 10 cards are in front (on top of) of other cards. The Skip cards and Wild cards in the newer design are way too busy. Other than that, they’ll work until I find an old-style set.

I love Phase 10. I have played it for years buying replacement decks when the old ones wear out. This redesign is horrible. The card stock is thinner. Less wax coating to protect the cards. The colors don’t seem as vibrant, especially the yellow.

It is difficult to distinguish the yellow one numbers in low light, like when playing by lantern light while camping. They also decided to underline both the nines and the sixes. This is VERY confusing.

Pick one number to underline but not both.

We love this game and play it every weekend with friends. We have been playing it for several years. However, the new cards are cheap and flimsy and cost more than the original ones. We could go for several months before with as much as played before having to replace, but now we have to replace every few weeks.

The way prices have gone up, we pay almost double what the original ones were and get a cheaper version that doesn’t last any amount of time. Signed, Disappointed Fan!!!.

Back when I was a wee spit, a tiny bebe… A wild (card) child, my parental units would take us camping. It was a whole day (at least!) to get from our house to the spot my dad reckoned was going to be sweet.

Once we had helped unpack the car, set up the tent, met all the other kids roaming about and whinged that we were hungry elventy-seven times, we would happily gather under the single propane camping light in order to calm down.

Why my parents considered Uno the orthodox way to calm our farms is a matter that no therapist has ever been able to explain. I still have most of the cards from our OG deck. They are worn around the edges.

Some of the “power” cards have bits marks. I willingly admit that the early 80’s found us as tiny feral terrors. Riding our BMX bikes through the sand dunes in the daytime. Coming back to our camp to eat sausages and bread.

Covered in salt and burnt skin. Howling at the moon. Oh. Hold up. We never did turn into wolves or behave in a mOsT CuRiOuS manner. But we did always play Uno until our salt crusted eyelids began their nightly ritual of closing.

Just so we could get up again and do it all tomorrow. 10/10 would recommend.

This board is a solid board, it ha a bit more flex than i thought, i had my doubts at first until i got to ride it then it was like riding on clouds when i hit the course gravel road. the flex absorbs about 75% of the shock leaving a bit of rattle that you can be comfortable with.

if your looking for a great racing board this is the one cause the turn radius is a lot less than other boards.

I’m a big guy like 230 lbs. And this board feels strong and solid. Rides well nice shape. Great price. Couldn’t be happier. Clear grip tape shows off the wood grain too.

Board was well worth the money. However, when it arrived, it was warped badly enough to be nearly unusable. For me, that wasn’t a problem as my board is a display, but if someone wanted to put this board into service I would recommend returning it.

Aside from the warp though, it’s really a nice board!.

I played this with my 6 year old and he had a blast. i thoroughly enjoyed myself as well. If your family likes Where’s Waldo or Search and Find books, you’ll enjoy this game. The instructions outline 5 different ways to play with these cards.

We really enjoyed 4/5 of them. Different games were easier fkr my 6 year old than others, but he was able to play them all well. I cant wait to bring this along for our holiday party this year. This may become a new favorite since it’s so inclusive.

One of our fav games. It’s most fun with just two playing. Really good for sharpening one’s mind. It is more difficult to find those matching items than one would expect. I have yet to EVER beat my niece.

Loved ours so much – it is a GREAT stocking stuffer! There are quite a few themed new kinds now. We like the original best.

The good: good, quick strategy game. The setup is easy and it’s a solitaire type game on steroids that can be played solo or co-op. The bad: the quality could be better. The game play requires the cards to be shuffled a lot, and yet they are not typical laminated playing cards.

The edges will wear down quickly with typical shuffling. The 4 cards used for game play could have been made from something else. Instead of stacking on to 4 cards it could have been built into the box, or tokens.

Anything to make it more in line with the price point. No judgement to the manufacturer but for target: target delivery has been very lacking of late. As has occurred with other packages in the past few weeks, this game arrived damaged; most likely returned.

The box was torn open but luckily all cards accounted for. Had it been a gift I would have had to return it. Since it was for the game shelf I decided to deal and put the cards in a different holder.

Love this game! In fact, I bought a second copy just to have a backup. 🙂 Whether you are playing with just two people or a group of four. the game is engaging and causes some great interaction in the group as you either win together or lose together! There is also the desire to do one more game and get further than you did before.

It is great game for those not heavily into gaming, very approachable and easy to learn. but fun to master!.

Players have to work together to play cards numbered from 2-99 in order. Two stacks ascending order, and two stacks descending. What a simple game to win, right? Wrong! Players cannot tell one another what numbered cards they’re holding, and must play a minimum of two cards during their turn.

The fun comes in the tension beginning immediately, and the ways a group will have to convey information without revealing, either directly or otherwise, what they’re holding. A little lengthy for a filler, but a very good game to bring to the table at the end of a long game session.

Plays equally well from 2-5 players. $100+ Kickstarter games are all the rage now, but inexpensive games like this add just as much joy to our afternoon game sessions.

I thought this would be a bit bigger. The “outside” measurements come no way near the inside. What I had planned to put in it didn’t fit, but, with some different planning, I can still use it!
