Dear Santa by Debbie Macomber is a book that captured my attention from the very first page. I look forward to reading Debbie Macomber’s Christmas story each year and Dear Santa did not disappoint. Lindy Carmichael is returning home for the holidays, and she is feeling a little blue.

Her mother suggests that Lindy read the letters she wrote to Santa as a child. After reading the letters, Lindy writes a letter to Santa with what she would like for Christmas. Lindy is surprised when the items on her list start coming true.

When one wish comes true, Lindy will need to make a heartrending decision. Dear Santa has Debbie Macomber’s trademark writing. Her writing is engaging and draws the writer right into the story. The story was easy to read thanks to the writing and steady pacing as well as the engaging characters.

I like the lessons in the story. We all go through rough patches, have heartbreak, or struggles, but something good usually comes from these difficulties. It is a clean story which I appreciate (no foul language and there is only kissing, hand holding, and hugs between our romantic couple).

Dear Santa is an uplifting story that leaves you with a smile on your face. The one sad thing is now we have to wait a year for Debbie Macomber’s next Christmas book. Dear Santa is a sweet, feel-good tale that will put you in the mood for the holidays.

Mrs. Miracle is a Christmas tradition and I was thrilled to get to read this beautiful, miraculous story! ‘It was the season, after all, and this year, for sure. The season of miracles. ‘ Disappointment after disappointment in conceiving or adopting a child has left Laurel with a lack of faith.

She’s resigned herself to being childless and thought her husband, Zach, had done the same. With the diminishing health of her Nana also weighing her down, they are thrilled when Mrs. Miracle arrives to help with Nana’s daily care.

But when Laurel realizes that Zach hasn’t completely let go of the longing for a child, their marriage ends up on shaky ground. This was such a heartwarming story. I loved each and every one of these characters as they struggle with their own heart aches, losses, and longings.

Laurel was living a life not quite complete and unable to totally let go of the heartache past disappointments had hurled at her. Zach only wanted his wife to find complete happiness in all things and went to extraordinary lengths to make it so.

Nana, suffering from dementia, often lost herself in past memories as well as those of her husband who had died years before. And Mrs. Miracle was hope and joy in every word and action. With so much heartache, this is a rather angsty read, but at the heart of it all is hope and love.

Despite this being a relatively fast read, this was such a richly developed story in both characterization and plotline. Of course, we know that there’s going to be a happy ever after, but the getting there was often painful.

Even with all that angst, there is plenty of humor and smiles as well as a deep romance that survives the darkest of days. As always, Mrs. Miracle brings the pure undiluted joy of the holiday season to those around her as well as readers and I loved every moment of the beautiful Christmas story.

A Mrs. Miracle Christmas by Debbie Macomber is touching Christmas story. I began reading it and did not stop until I finished. A Mrs. Miracle Christmas has Debbie Macomber’s delightful writing which drew me right in.

Her characters are developed, and the story moved along at a steady pace. Mrs. Miracle is sent by Gabriel to help Helen, Laurel and Zach. Helen has been praying for her granddaughter who has lost faith as well as hope after failed IVF treatments and an unsuccessful adoption.

Zach still has hope, but he is not the praying type. Helen, Laurel’s grandmother, has dementia and her life has shrunk to the point where she sits in a chair trying to knit and watching television. With Mrs.

Miracle taking care of Helen, her life expands. Helen finds new activities and new friends with her favorite being the kindly Mrs. Miracle. I thought Laurel and Zach’s struggles were realistic. I could feel their turmoil and sadness.

There are some bright moments for the couple along with angelic guidance. There were humorous scenes that had me laughing out loud. I especially enjoyed Mrs. Miracle mentioning her friends, Shirley, Goodness and Mercy.

Mrs. Miracle enlists their assistance for a job or two. I like the inclusion of this segment of the Twenty-Third Psalm, “Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life. ” We see how important it is to never lose hope or faith.

God does listen to our prayers and He answers them in His own way and when He feels it is time. We need to remember that patience is a virtue (like Mrs. Miracle, I struggle with this one). It also tells us that we should be grateful for what we do have instead of what we do not have.

I am guilty of this as well. A Mrs. Miracle Christmas is a heartwarming Christmas tale that will lift your spirits and touch your heart. I was happy for the epilogue that beautifully wrapped up this touching tale.

Mr Miracle was a precious Christmas story. I loved Harry! He’s a wonderful character. I am a fan or the enemies to lover trope so I loved Addie and Erich. Their banter was hilarious. If you need a good Christmas romance, check this one out.

Mr. Miracle is another extraordinary book from Debbie Macomber. It’s a beautiful joyous humorous Christmas novel. For me I could read this book anytime; it doesn’t have to be read just at Christmas time.

If you want a clean easy-to-read lovely holiday story I believe you would enjoy Mr. Miracle. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Mr. Miracle by Debbie Macomber and unquestionably recommend this book. I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

As fate would have it, Merry discovers her potential date is none other than Mr. Bright and stands him up on their first meet. It’s hard for her to reconcile the two sides of the man she’s come to care about.

I enjoyed this quick Holiday read, and I will tell you once you start you won’t want to close the cover. I personally love to read Debbie Macomber, a go to author for me, and this one did not disappoint.

The author has us walking in Merry/Mary’s shoes as she goes about her life, and then we meet Jayson Bright, and we see that not all of us are brought up with a loving family as Merry had. Jayson is a bright, handsome, and power driven man, Merry is working a temporary job to earn enough money to return to finish college, and at first you don’t see much in common, but come along, there are so many chuckles awaiting.

I don’t think you will be disappointed with this one, just that I wanted more! I received this book through Net Galley and Ballantine Books, and was not required to give a positive review.

This was such an adorable little Christmas story! I loved both Merry and Jason. And I loved that Jason cares so much about Merry and her family. I wanted this to be a little longer to make the ending a bit more justified.

I’ve been loving all of the Debbie Macomber books I’ve read the past month or so!.

This was a new take on the ultimate Christmas vacation story and Debbie Macomber didn’t disappoint with Jingle All the Way. I laughed out loud several times as the comedy unfolded and it began on page one.

From the assistant who never should have been an assistant to the business partner who was out of sync with his business Everly clearly needed a break more than she even knew. Even if you do not work in a high powered career, there is someone is this story you can identify with.

One takeaway from this story of a vacation gone awry is that sometimes, a fresh look at life is a good thing before it passes on by. Everly and Asher are a good example of two people who are so busy with their goals they nearly missed the golden opportunity of a lifetime.

Deadlines are important, even Wi-Fi is important, but just like everything else, there is a time and place even for those parts of our lives. I admired Everly for the way she met every challenge on her cruise.

Her expectations for the cruise she reluctantly took were so different than the ship she boarded, yet she proved to be the ultimate good sport. If you are looking for a new kind of Christmas story, look no further than Jingle All the Way!.

This was a good book and it is like a fairy tale for adults. Nice to read something that has a happy ending and one part of the book makes you think about where you are in life and about being honest about who you are and how that affects relationships.

This was a really cute book. Not like other Christmas books I have read. I throughly enjoyed it. I would recommend this book. It is a must read.

This was not one of my favorite Debbie Macomber book. It was too unrealistic that Homeland Security would spend that kind of time and effort on tracking down someone. and the way they attempted to apprehend someone with a certain name.

And the fact that the name is such a common name is a little ridiculous. The main characters were irritating. Ashley is a little too annoying and Dash has an attitude that won’t quit. What kind of person would drive off and leave a female alone at a rest area? The banter between the two characters and how the relationship suddenly evolves was not believable.

I’m not a huge romance reader, but for audio books, some of Debbie Macomber books are entertaining. However, this one fell short of the mark.

Love the small hard cover books — easy to read — read in two days. Typical Debbie Macomber style; interesting from the first page. It’s a fun story about the Christmas Holiday adventure of two strangers who share the last rental car in an effort to reach Seattle by Christmas.

When every last minute flight to Seattle is full before Chistmas Ashley and Dashiell reluctantly agree to share a rental car as only one is available. There’s a spark of romance but a case of mistaken identity lands them on the wrong side of the law.

Will they now reach Seattle in time for Christmas and if not their greatest wishes may still come true.

Debbie Macomber gives us a sweet story of love, but also fulfilling your life dreams. As we read the author gives us both sides of the dilemma that now hounds these two, the beginnings of love. We also get to see through their eyes the beauty of this desolate land and how these people cope year-round.

There is a theme of food here, and you’re going to love the character of Jack. This story will keep you page turning and wanting more once that final page is turned. I received this book from Net Galley and the Publisher Ballantine Books, and was not required to give a positive review.

I loved this book. The Alaskan setting was perfect. Josie and Palmer were such a sweet couple. This book reminded me of those cozy Christmas movies I look forward to each year.

I got this for a Christmas gift this last year and would read a couple chapters a night and couldn’t wait until the next night. I loved the story line and just love a good love story. I want to see more stories like this by Debbie Macomber.

It’s only my second book by her and will be buying more!.

I understand the book was used. However, nothing was said about the book being dirty, but rather the review said it was clean with possible spine wear. This book has stains across the front, and back.

Honestly I don’t want to touch it. Wear is not the same as food, or whatever these stains are from. The inside of the book is lean. No doubt the story is excellent, I have not read it yet, I jut received it.

Each year I buy Richard Paul Evans book that he publishes just before Christmas. I have never read any of his writings but my daughter is a reader and likes what he writes.

This is actually 2 books in 1. The first is 5-B Poppy Lane. Meet Helen Shelton, a woman who has lived through some terrible times. Also, her granddaughter Ruth and her friend Paul. Will Ruth be able to get past the fact that Paul is in the Marines? The second is A Cedar Cove Christmas.

A story of Mary Jo Wyse, alone and unmarried and pregnant on Christmas Eve. Will things work out for her? Debbie has written prologues as these are reprints. I was disappointed to learn that I had already read 1 of these stories.

But, enjoyed reading the prologue and had never read the first story and enjoyed that. It was a fast read. Course always like a bargain ( 2 for 1). BOOK REVIEWS by SANDY = 2/3 Stars.

I love the down to earth depiction of the characters. They seem like down home people we all know.

This was one of the few books by Debbie Macomber that I had not read and it was very good. Debbie is a very good fiction writer and her stories always keep me interested to the very end. I recommend her books to all my friends and I also share the ones I have with them also.

I love it! A new town to visit with new people you feel are your family or friends. All of Debbie’s books are wonderful, and you know without a doubt, there will be a happy ending. We all could use some happy endings.

Back in the day, I would pick up the book and read the last page first. My husband thought I was nuts for doing this. I said I want to be entertained and not be sad if the hero or heroine dies. I have never done this with Debbie.

I have a library of her books, and sometimes go back and re read one.

I could not put this book down. It was a wonderful story, and I did not want this book to end. The secondary characters in the book of the girl’s Aunt Sunshine and a long lost love, Peter, held me enthralled.

I love Debbie Mac on her Blossom Street books. This is one in the series and it delivers a great story. Definitely recommend.

Love all of Debbie Macomber books. You can relate to the characters

This is a very good Debbie Macomber book. It is about a young woman, Linette whose husband has died of cancer. Her sister-in-law introduces her to a mysterious man, Cain McClellan. Cain is in town to help his friend Tim Mallory who was severely hurt in the line of duty.

After finding a good physical therapist for Tim, Cain spends time with Linette before he has to leave on a mission. Great story of two very driven men who find women that change their lives – one meets his match and the other finds his match.

Great story. Highly recommend.

I love Debbie Macomber books. I love her style of writing. This was a great beginning of her trilogy of mercenary men with huge hearts. Once you start reading them you won’t be able to put them down.

Unfortunately, I read the 3rd book first, “The Sooner the Better”. Then I ordered “Someday Soon” and “Sooner or Later”.

Debbie Macomber is one of those rare authors who really understands the emotions of people and knows how to incorporate that into each of her books. This book is right up there with the rest of her high standards.

I’ve never read one of her books, or seen one of the Hallmark movies based on her work, so I wasn’t sure about ordering this book. I’m glad I did. It’s got a nice, small town Americana feel to it. Different artists worked on it so the pictures so the pictures can feel a bit different from one another.

But it’s really not a big deal. Some of the images have a lot of detail. Main street, a B&B, mountains and lakes, a cat in a yarn shop, there are lots of different pictures to choose from. The paper quality is pretty nice, much better than create space.

And the images are single sided with quotes on the back. I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase!.

I purchased my book from Walmart store. I was going to order & found in the my local Walmart. This coloring book makes sense. It is scences from Debbie McCombers Rose Garden series. All outside & inside pages with the words from a particular book on other side of page.

Beautiful paper with tear out pages if you want to. A repeat of some of her other books would be great coloring. Do not like to color books with objects only on page. You dont have to have read these books to enjoy the pictures.

I’m a fan of Debbie Macomber so was happy to find this book. The pictures are detailed and take quite awhile to complete one. I don’t like the Mandala, fish, stained glass, animals, and the like that other books seem to lean towards.

This book has a B &B bedroom that I want to live in. The pages relate to her books like The Inn at Rose Harbor and Blossom Street. I will be enjoying this book for several weeks. Just a hint. if you want to see some of the pages of the book, go to Amazon.

I wish Wal-Mart would show some of the pages of these books and puzzle books. This would make a great Christmas gift with a box of pencils.

Debbie Macomber’s latest book, A Mrs. Miracle Christmas is a wonderful little Christmas story. I always enjoyed reading Debbie’s other Angel series books. I loved that she not only has Mrs. Miracle but also Shirley, Goodness and Mercy as guest appearances in this story.

Debbie does a fantastic job of carefully crafted characters that you will not soon forget. I fell in love with Laurel, her husband Zack, grandmother Helen and of course Mrs. Miracle. Helen has started to be forgetful and showing signs of dementia.

Laurel and Zack work full time and need to find someone to stay with grandmother during the day, while they are at work. Mrs. Miracle shows up as a Home Care Angel to stay with Helen. Helen is the first to realize that Mrs.

You know it’s approaching the holidays when we get a Debbie Macomber Christmas novel! I was trying to save this book, but I just couldn’t. I had to dive in and read it. I LOVED this book. This story revolves around Lauren & Zach, a childless couple, and Helen, Lauren’s grandmother who has dementia.

We also have a return of Mrs. Miracle, whom I absolutely adore. There is a lot of knitting in this story, which I will confess, I learned how to knit because of Debbie Macomber. I loved all the characters in this book.

Lauren is an elementary school teacher and Zach is a computer programmer. They are childless, but have struggled with IVF and had a foster child adoption fall through. Helen has dementia and is unable to live alone any longer, so Lauren and Zach have moved in with her.

Mrs. Miracle has come to be a companion of Helen’s during the holiday season. This book will make you laugh and cry and believe in Christmas miracles. It is definitely a must read for the holiday season.

This is a good read. I loved it because I love Christmas and I love romance novels so it was a perfect blend. I really love Debbies way of writing. Her stories are wonderful! I’ve read a lot of her books.

Enjoyed every page of this book. Wish I had the talent to write a book – even a story. I think Mcomber was especially blessed with a wonderful gift. (It’s 104 today where I am in nearly mid September)

Like all Debbie Macomber books….this one is an easy read. Would recommend to anyone.

This is a wonderful book! I wanted to know how all the relationships turned out but I didn’t want the book to end. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I just may reread this one. Loved it!

I just love Christian novels and it’s a very good book.

Debbie Macomber is such a great story teller and A Girl’s Guide to Moving On was no exception. I was so throughly engrossed in this story that I read it in one day. I loved the idea that a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law were so close that they helped each other through their individual divorces and even got apartments across the hall from each other.

They made a four part plan to work through together in getting on with their lives. Leanne, the mother-in-law felt guilty for staying with her cheating husband for thirty five years in that it caused her son to act like his dad and cheat on Nichole, the daughter-in-law.

Unlike Leanne, Nichole did not look the other way, but filed for divorce immediately when she found out her husband was cheating on her. This story moves through their lives as they adjust to living single, finding new interests, and building up their self-esteem that was torn down so easily by their exes.

I loved seeing the characters grow and mature. It is definitely a story I found hard to put down. A gifted copy was provided by Random House Publishing Group – Ballantine via NetGalley for an honest review, which I have given.

I enjoy reading Debbie Macomber’s novels. They’re easy to read and entertaining. I am a widow (5 years and 7 months and counting), and even though I am not looking at all to start a new relationship any time soon, this book was an uplifting story for anyone going through a divorce or the loss of your mate.

I do recommend it.
