I bought this case for my Phantom 3 pro. It has battery spaces for either 4 P3 batteries or 4 P3 batteries. I love that you can close the lid and keep the props on. I was interested in this case because I would be using it at the beach very often for drone fishing.

I wanted something to protect my investment that would keep sand and water out. I have made several trips to the beach with it and not one grain of sand inside the case. It comes with a nice foam cut out that serves as a gimbal/camera protector for easy in and out access.

The IPAD/TABLET slot is great too. I like how I can keep EVERYTHING in one case, my batteries, the drone, tablet, charger for tablet, drone, and bait dropper, plastic gimbal holder stores nicely in the P4 battery slot, extra props, a mini level for proper IMU calibration, remote, sync cable for remote I mean EVERYTHING.

If you are looking for a quality product that will last years to come I would suggest the Nanuk case. If you have a P3 now its a great case for you because when you upgrade to a P4 you wont have to but a new case.

All your batteries and such will work perfect. I would recommend this case.

So happy i spent that extra $300. 00 to buy the built in monitor as i can now see what i am doing even in bright sunlight! Its 3X brighter than the best phone screen on the market. Also am enjoying the many collision avoidance techniques on board!.

The drone has already been used to locate water leaks and to check on kids at the back of the farm in the 3 odd weeks we have had it. The only con so far is the short battery life.

Great drone still today and I have flown and owned p4p mavic pro and air2s. I purchased the p4 pre owned and other than the near by Wi-Fi warnings it hasnt so far been a issue as I also make sure when Im warned I always use the mirror parabolic signal booster.

They do work and work well to insure the p4 signal stays strong.

I am new to the drone world and am very happy with this purchase. The problem comes in with the firmware updates from dji. There is a big issue with interference of the video signals. When I talked to dji they said it was my tablet (Galaxy Tab E) but they can’t say that’s what’s wrong.

I know, nice answer. They also told me that the new update can identify incompatible tablets but it doesn’t tell u that it’s incompatible. I had to put it in manual mode and select the most stable channel and it works for the most part.

I only put this out there so people aren’t caught off guard like I was. Also you can not switch the frequency bands like you see in a lot of videos. All and all it is a great drone and I am very happy, but there are issues with the Go 4 app and updates.

I’ve owned 3 P4p+ drones. Crashed and sunk the first 2, but always my fault as I tend to push everything to the extreme (and kind of a bone head). Very solid indeed! But stay out of the fog because the sensors go crazy, “return to home” will always save the day.

It’s fast and will get very far away in no time, only to spend more time creating your best 4K video footage for Facebook or other. I use the free ‘Sound Bible’ clips for audio inserts. So, if you can afford it, but it.

First of all, the service from Adorama was outstanding. I had a problem with the battery that came with the drone, but Adorama had me return it with no questions asked and they sent me an entire new unit pronto.

I’ve purchased a great deal of my gear from them over the years and will continue into the foreseeable future. Now, I am extremely new to drones and do not know how to fly them. I am though, a pro videographer/photographer, which is the primary reason I bought this drone.

I read and watched a multitude of reviews and posts and decided that largely because of the camera, this was the one for me. I made about four test flights with the Phantom before taking this on my vacation to New Hampshire.

I was deeply concerned because the forecast for the week that I was going to be there had temperatures for the entire week in the sub zero range with highs in single digits with wind chill in the 20s.

I viewed all the warnings and learned a few things. Keeping the battery warm goes a long way in flying this drone in cold weather. Although fearful I’d loos my drone, I almost had no choice because the scenery was so outstanding and my time there was limited.

So with much trepidation, I put it in the air. Wowwwww is all I could say after thawing my fingers and watching the footage. A number of times, I did get a high wind velocity warning, thus I did not fly higher than 100 feet and most of the time, much less than that.

And there was only a few times I got a battery temperature warning, which I landed Immediately following. Now I can’t fly a drone anymore than I can fly a real plane, but the Phantom Is so stable and the remote is so easy to use that it feels easier than I’ve heard it is to fly drones.

A couple of days, it was snowing while I flew as can be seen in my videos. Notice how the snow was whipping around as I flew over the building and also notice that as I flew the Phantom over the Saco River the snow was falling almost horizontally.

Likewise, back at home in Florida at Red Reef the coconut palm trees are swaying pretty hard. Nevertheless, the Phantom is as steady as if it’s on a crane. And the video quality is superb. I did set the camera manually and used ND filters for each shot, which are excellent features with the Phantom.

I love the ability to manually set the exposure. I am so impressed with the steadiness and durability of this drone, especially in inclement weather, but I’m even more impressed with the quality of footage out of the camera.

Now I do not suggest or promote using your Phantom in the type of weather I used mine. Remember, I was desperate. I do however, and very strongly recommend this particular drone to anyone who needs an all around professional drone.

When I purchased the Phantom 4 Pro I had the choice of this product or the Phantom 4 Pro+ which includes a controller with integrated screen running Android. I decided to purchase the Pro given the Plus does not allow use of third party software such as Litchi or Pix4D which are useful for photography or creating maps.

That said with the Pro, one must use either an iOS or Android device with the included controller. Initially I attempted to use an iPad Mini and iPhone 5S. In both cases I found the Apple devices overheated and were unable to sustain the display of video from the Phantom once the Apple processor throttle to protect itself from heat.

Subsequently I purchased a Samsung Tab S2 which has no thermal issues though struggles to connect to the Phantom’s controller, a known problem with all Samsung Android devices with DJI’s hardware/software.

But simple workaround solved this issue and I’m happy with the Samsung Tab S2. Point in fact if using an Apple their iPad Pro devices are engineered to manage heat, where the Mini is not. Samsung is a good option at a lower price but requires a specific sequence of events to connect and is reliable when used this way.

Asus ZenFone 3, sold by ABT, works with zero issues though is a smaller 5. 5 inch screen. Also notable is that the DJI Phantom 4 battery is not the same as the Phantom 4 Pro battery. The Pro battery has higher capacity (500 mAh) which translates into longer flight time.

Both batteries fit the Phantom 4 Pro.

I am a advanced RC fixed wing, helicopter, and Race Drone pilot. I have over 35 years of RC Aircraft experience. The Phantom 4 Pro + isExtremely easy to use and fly. I let people with no drone or RC experience take off, fly around, and land it by themselves.

I even let my kids fly it. The camera footage is spectacular and cinematic. The drone has many advanced features and options so it pays to learn them to get the most out of this camera drone. The flight performance is on the high end.

It can fly very fast and very high. It has super quick acceleration if you push the sticks all the way. Super slow and stable when your gentle on the sticks. I highly recommend learning and studying as much as you can about this drone if you are considering buying one.

Also, DJI carries other models that perform very well. There are many options. I have flown many, many different drones including other DJI drones and this one is the best. The Phantom 3 and 4 standard fly with similar stability and performance but having rear facing obstacle avoidance while backing up during a shot is priceless.

Especially if the drone is backing up in active track and your concentrating on the shot. The flight automity is amazing but keep in mind that you can trick it. Do not flyin clouds, fog, rain, or add gimbal protectors on the landing gear, as the sensors will see these things and mess with its ability to navigate, fly or land properly.

There is a lot to this drone. It is very advanced, and I give it a full recommendation to anyone who has done their research on it and decided this is what they want for their epic, cinematic shots.

This is my first drone. Was it too much too soon? Perhaps. Would I have regretted not getting it? Absolutely. The stability on windy days and the video quality are matched by few. I had researched other DJI products for commercial use but settled on this particular model.

While I do not fly long distances, I definitely wanted one that could withstand wind at higher altitudes. The camera lens offers wide angle shots that are eye catching. I can go on and on about many of the features that have already been discussed by others, but instead I will just point out a few things.

First of all, I di not find the manual being instructive enough in explaining the special features and how to use them, such as Point of Interest. In such cases You Tube videos have come in handy. Secondly, you will need extra batteries and a multi-port charger.

Without spare batteries you will soon learn that it may take an hour to charge one battery and only be able to fly for 20 minutes. So, go the extra mile and get some spares. Sure they are expensive, but then so is the drone.

You have choices in batteries. There are the 5350maH and the 5850, prices vary so shop around. Other than that I would recommend this model for intermediate to advanced users. Happy Droning!.

Pros: First Drone. Easy for my experienced drone flying friend to fly, I am being extremely carefully while learning. Lots of space on our farm which helps greatly. Getting better, taking baby steps as I learn to use joy sticks and fly by watching the screen.

Built-in controller screen is very nice. Return to Home (RTM) is an awesome feature, especially for a novice. I have decades of experience with SLR cameras and I can confirm what others have said: This has a great camera.

Having f/2. 8 to f/11 gives plenty of range to adjust for photos. I highly recommend getting ND filters for video. Shutter speed for video should be twice frame rate and a frame rate of 30 fps and resulting 1/60 sec.

shutter speed is much too bright even when using f/11 and ISO 100. The included Styrofoam is okay for casual use, something better is needed for travel. Overall a great drone and camera system. Cons: Lack of experience might be the problem, but I felt as if I was Beta testing the drone and controller.

There have been too many unexplained messages, some were repeated and others never to be seen again. Two of two Intelligent Flight 5350mAh batteries that were included with an accessory bundle failed to work.

This seems to be a common problem with the Pro 4 Plus drone. Not good! Other thoughts: I purchased an ‘Open Box’ version expecting to get something like this ‘. for example, the box may be torn, there may be cosmetic scratches, etc)’ The drone I received was USED.

Period! The drone had been registered. Data indicated it was used for four days and the album contained 18 photos and one video. We determined everything with the drone and camera worked exactly as expected.

Still Beach should have indicated ‘Open Box’ might include slightly used/returned. I suggest getting at least two DJI Phantom 4 Series Intelligent Flight Battery High Capacity 5870 mAh(CP. PT. 000601) DO NOT get the older 5350mAH batteries to save $20.

Although the price was good, when I received the item and unpackaged it, I was disappointed. First off the Charger Port Cover on the Controller was torn off and laying in the bottom of the transport case.

Anyone who has ever owned this type of Controller (Phantom 4 Pro Plus, Inspire 1, etc) knows how a missing or torn off Charger Port Cover devalues the Controller. Next, I inspected the battery and found it to be some sort of off-brand unbranded Battery, NOT a DJI Battery plus the shell was cracked at the top.

Every DJI Drone Owner KNOWS DJI ONLY recommends it’s own brand of Battery for use in it’s drones. Finally, and it’s a small thing, but the Memory Card that was supposed to be in the Kit was missing and only the Memory Card Adapter was there.

I know these may seem like small complaints but when something is advertised as complete, inspected and working, I dont expect parts to be torn off, cracked and misrepresented or missing.

It came with a battery that was useless for the drone. I had to order one from someone else to try to get it working. It’s been a pain trying to get the controller to communicate with the drone. Hopefully I can get that done and get it flying tomorrow without having to call support again.

From what I have seen from other people it takes great pictures and is a good product for the money. I’ve heard some negatives about the customer support at DJI but they are sending me another battery after the hassle of sending the bad one back first.

Maybe a little quality control and testing would have prevented this? I know I would need some back up batteries once I get busy but I wanted to check the machine out first.

I have had three Phantom 4 Pro drones and one Mavic Pro with DJI Goggles, each has performed splendidly. It amazes me tho, at how much more stable the Phantoms are in any wind speeds compared to the Mavic Pro.

The Phantom is Rock Steady! When you let the controls go this baby stays put where it is at. The Phantom is a durable uav, I crashed my third Pro Plus and the battery popped out due to hitting the ground so hard after bouncing off a pine tree.

I reinstalled the battery and it flew with no problem or visible damage. The Return-To-Home function has saved the day several times from a mile over the lake to losing signal behind trees. It has always made it back home safely.

I live in a rural area with lots of cell towers and WiFi around. With radio contact I have seen the Phantom go over three miles distance away in my neighborhood and over 43,000 feet total distance on one flight and battery test.

I feel far more at ease when flying the Phantom 4 Pro Plus V2. 0 compared to the Mavic Pro or other UAVs in the same price range. The camera far exceeds any other drone in this price range as well (in my opinion) although I was impressed with the Autel EVO II Pro camera.

DJI Phantom 4 Pro Plus is my drone of choice. Buy and fly with confidence!.

I ordered an oem Phantom 4 Pro flight battery. The battery was not a third-party knock off nor was it refurbished. It was new as advertised. Other sites say they have these batteries but they are third-party or refurbished.

The price is no higher than DJI charges themselves. I received the battery the day after I ordered it with no expensive shipping cost. Everything went fantastic and I am very pleased. I am going to buy more and would absolutely recommend this site to anyone who wants exactly what they order for a good price and really fast.

I have been flying for some years commercially. Always trying some third party batteries, for saving some money and for curiosity as well, to see how they perform. I reached my top level of disappointment of trying third party replacement batteries.

I had no chance to enjoy any of them as long I can fly with the originals. Last time the brand new replacement battery did not even fly my drone having battery error messages. Saving some money on battery actually can make you loose your drone! Get the real one! Use them as long you can and then get new ones so you are safe and the drone is safe and whatever is under it.

At least that’s my own advice for myself. :).

I was planning to fly my DJI Phantom 4. I had three batteries in the charger and when I check all three batteries would not respond. It looked as though one of the batteries had failed. I got this notion by looking through each battery.

One battery showed that the internal battery packs had swollen. Not sure why, but I think that this battery caused the two remaining batteries were killed. I have not yet had the Phantom 4 a year and have had a total of 5 Batteries fail.

I did not send the swollen battery back for repair or warranty replacement since I think it could have bee an fire hazard. I will have to eat that one. I do like the Phantom but I think they are still working out the battery issues.

After I sent in the two failed batteries I noticed that the remote control would not take a charge. Since the batteries are not replaceable in the remote I sent it back for repair. I like the unit but suggest that you have more than enough batteries.

I am not a beginner ahd have my 107 license. B&H has been great! Waiting for my remote so I can fly again.

An expensive item to buy new, but this was a good price as a used item. The battery had only been through 19 charging cycles, so has a long life expectation. It charged to 100%, so no obvious problems.

Exactly what I wanted.

Pros: Price, Protection for Phantom 3 Cons: While not a big deal, when I close the lid on the case, the lid does not line up perfectly with the base. I need to apply a little pressure to the side of the lid to get it to align with the base when I close the latches.

Other thoughts: My review is for a case costing less than $50. If I had spent $150 on it, I might be a little disappointed. I purchased this for a DJI Phantom 3 while the Phantom 3 was still in transit to me.

It arrived a day or two before the drone. Everything fits very nicely. I have not made any modifications to the case, and the Phantom 3 fits with the props on. The controller fits very well into the case.

I purchased two extra batteries and there is room for those plus two more. So, I have stuffed some of my smaller miscellaneous items in the two open battery banks.

This is a wonderful airplane. Straight out of the gate she’s gorgeous, built really well, basic assembly and set up. I was heavily debating between the 6 and 8; I went with the 6 and was pleasantly surprised.

The high performance version is quite awesome (plenty of punch ) and I liked the idea of just upgrading engine if I wanted. However, from the top end speed between 6 and 8 is noticeable. But not much really, maybe 2-3 mph at best (based on what I’ve seen) but 8’s seems to have more low end torque, and a bit more efficient.

Handling wise, I think it’s extremely maneuverable for a 90 size edf warbird. I absolutely adore my A4 and call it my (“Minnie Phantom”) and the Phantom II is actually quite similar to the A4; but they don’t exactly fly the same.

I was quite stoked at how well handled this bird is. Out of all the jets in my fleet, the Phantom required the least overall trimming/tweaking etc. Like many have stated, it takes off and lands beautifully.

I’m still so impressed by the technology and creations of these great edf’s to enjoy. And the history behind it all is something I like best. A must for the collection!.

Great jet, very nice looking and everything was well thought out. I must say I was a little disappointed upon learning that I had to paint the tail in order to use either of the two provided schemes, which in my opinion disqualifies this as a PNP product, but I can’t let my laziness take away from how great Freewing and Motion RC are.

I’ll assume this was just a production oversight or communication breakdown. There were no other issues assembling it and I’m especially impressed with the landing gear for a foamy. The lights are a real nice touch as well.

The recommended CG and flying stab angle seemed spot on for my first few flights. I did however need a good amount of left trim, and don’t forget to add some up elevator on your flap mix. My first flight was a real handful to say the least, but that was just me needing to adjust to the plane.

I have multiple FreeWing jets and a collection of turbine jets, and you definitely have to fly this one. Don’t think you can just chop the throttle on the downwind leg and float in for a landing – you have to fly this jet all the way to the ground, and keep on the power in your final turn.

With that said, it flies great and goes where you point it. My first flight was with drop tanks and missiles installed, but I didn’t really care for the way it handled. Second flight I went without the drop tanks and it seemed much more manageable.

The 8S is definitely plenty of power. I ended up with four successful flights on the first day out and each one got better and better, and by flight number four I was comfortable really wringing it out and flying aggressively.

I forgot to install a gps sensor but I would guestamate that it was scooting along at about 120mph. I won’t know about flight times until I charge all my batteries again, but I went with an abundance of caution for day one and set the timer for 3 minutes.

Looks great in the air but be warned the ghost gray camo works – it is hard to see! Keep it close. This jet is not for beginners. If you are looking for your first foamy get the 80MM F-86 first and also maybe try a Stinger or Avanti before this one.

Overall extremely satisfied and Motion RC is becoming legendary for their customer service.

I purchased this and used one of the other guys 8s 90mm edf unit and an aerostar 150 amp esc. It does not save any money doing it this way, better to just purchase the 8s capable planes unless you have this stuff lying around like I did.

I had some trepidation about the c. g. because one well known reviewer that I trust said the plane was tail heavy at the book c. g, 190mm. Mine was not. I set mine at first flight at 185mm and it was just slightly nose heavy.

so 190mm to me is a great starting point. As I always do with freewing products I used the low rates for my ailerons and the high rates for everything else. this was a great starting point for me. I generally don’t use high and low rates, I just leave them on 1 setting.

I read some of the threads where people were saying that some of the early models needed a lot of aileron trim on first flight. This was not the case with mine, I set it up ailerons and flaps straight across and I never even touched my aileron trim.

Only a few clicks of up elevator setting the elevator 8mm down on the front edge from the parting line on the fuselage, by the book. I did install a gyro because they just fly better with them. I never used them for years but I love them now.

I mounted it at the back of the battery compartment behind the breakout box where the wing wire connectors hook up. I put my receiver under the battery tray and my antennas extend forward above the front landing gear.

I am using 2 4s 60c heavy duty batteries linked in series and they are all the way back on the battery tray to achieve 190mm c. g. The 2 batteries together weigh 1100 grams. First flight was picture perfect nice rotation and nothing freaky happened.

Plane has good speed ( 125mph in level flight) using a gps data logger. I’m very happy with that! Great power and the flying is rock solid with no bad habits. Fly it like a jet and only slow down on final and it is very easy to fly! I bought Colonel Robin Olds plane markings from Callie Graphics and they look amazing! I am super happy with it, don’t hesitate!.

This jet flys very well. I put the 8s 12 blade power system out of my wrecked freewing F22 raptor in it. This plane has much more power than the raptor. The landing gear has a nice wide stance and handles on grass runways well.

I have not flown it with the drop tanks and ordnance installed. Without them it is 120+ MPH plane much faster in a dive. It has excellent vertical climb, sharp rolls. Landings and takeoffs are a breeze with or without flaps.

A few setup recommendations: If you are like me and not using a gyro you will probably want to use the suggested low rates as your high rates and cut your low rates to 2/3 of the suggested low rates.

You will also want to remove the landing gear and add loctite to ALL of the set screws and tighten them. I forgot this important step and lost the landing strut and wheel during the taxi portion prior to my second flight.

lucky for me I noticed it was not driving right before the plane got airborne. When I picked up the plane to see what was wrong the left main gear fell out. I am running two thunder power 4S 5000mAh 55C packs all of the way back in the battery compartment.

The CG is about 7in back from the leaning edge which is 1/2 inch foreword of the recommended location. It flys like it is on rails throughout its speed range so I do not feel the need to add excess tail weight to it.

I sealed the water slide decals with gloss acrylic lacquer which I applied to the plane before adding decals as well as after. If you don’t like gloss you can apply a satin clear coat. Micromark sells a testers decal setting solution set if you have an airbrush.
