20 Best Dark Red Nail Polish (2023 Updated)

Based on the reviews of Rosy Future OPI nail lacquer I was excited and looking forward to receiving my new nail polish. Wow! What a shock it turned out to be. One coat looked good and I should have stopped right there.

Thinking it would look even better with two coats I eagerly added a second as it was easy to apply. One coat gave a beautiful sheer iridescent shimmering look. Adding a second coat gave me neon nails that resembled fluorescent lights.

I will continue to use the Rosy Future but only one coat. I am disappointed because I think a manicure with two coats of polish lasts longer. But, the look with one coat is acceptable with top coat layers.

This polish is not the winner that I expected but at the same time it is not a total loss either. I would recommend the Rosy Future because of its versatility. For those who like a sheer iridescent look it’s a winner.

For those who like neon nails it’s also a winner. Enjoy your new nail polish! The pictures show two coats of polish but do not depict how bright the color really is. 8-14-21 UPDATE: The more I use Rosy Future the more I like it.

I have been using it for 2 years now. It has become my favorite light-neutral pink.

OPI is my go to nail polish when I do my own nails at home. The color options are fantastic and this shade Throw Me a Kiss is so pretty. You have to see this shade in person. It’s an iridescent light pink.

I tested it without a base coat so even with three coats I can still see the whites of my nail underneath. Next time I try this I will put a base coat underneath. I work with my hands everyday and nail polish does tend to chip pretty easily for me.

I tried this without a top coat and it did chip within 2 days. I also did try it with the OPI top coat and it did last about 5 days for me which is great. I love changing up my nail colors especially in the spring and summer and I do recommend this shade.

It is neutral and goes with everything, but also has that shine that gives it that little extra touch of being different.

A vampy, shimmery red which has become a new favorite! OPI has carried this shade for a long time, and I can see why it’s so popular. As it’s a lacquer, you can be guaranteed more durability and chip-resistant nails! The color is a mix of dark pink and red, and the result is the glorious warm red shade with a slight shimmer.

I find this color looks very elegant when I wear it, and it can easily be worn for both a casual and special occasion. I usually apply a top coat to my nails but as the formula is slightly thicker, you can go without.

Just 2 coats and my nails last a good week or two without chipping! The large application brush is also easy to apply and spreads the lacquer evenly across the nail without any extra drip. I am usually a red lip wearer, but wanting a subtle change, I opted for this shade, and happy I did! Would definitely recommend it.

I pride myself in keeping my nails well manicured & polished. Revlon super lustrous polish was my go to polish. I just bought a new supply of polish which included the color Vixen, #570, which has a label that says “New Formula.

” It is horrible—thick, gunky & does not go on even at all. It is so thick I doubt I will get 2-3 polish changes out of it, that is, if I have the patience to use it again. I will say I do like the new brush.

The brush in the old formula really needs an upgrade—it is much to thin & stiff especially if you have long nails—so you don’t have to load the brush 2-3 times to polish one nail. Please get rid of the new formula & just give us a new brush for the old formula.

I won’t buy the new formula again!.

Very disappointed. Revlon nail polish has always been a go-to. I have always found that it goes on smoothly, doesn’t chip, and the bottle does not get clumpy after a few uses, unlike many of the other brands, most of which are also double the price.

However, I just purchased this shade yesterday and am not happy. The display lighting in my usual CVS is so bright that every time I took a bottle off of the shelf, they appeared to be a totally different color.

I finally chose one, and when I got home and applied it, it was totally different than it appeared in the bottle. I would have been okay with it, since the actual color is bad, just not at all what I expected or wanted.

However, it did not go on smoothly, was clumpy, and did not even dry quickly. EXTREMELY disappointed!.

These are, without a doubt, the best nail polishes on the market. I have been using these since high school and I’ll never waver because every time I do, I’m disappointed. The colours and range is superb, the consistency is so easy to work with and the brush.

the brush! I don’t know what it is about the brush but I never go wrong. I find I get the most consistent coats with the Revlon nail colour, whereas other brands can be quite patchy. It dried to a glossy, rich finish that looks oh so polished (pun intended).

Went a few times because the place looks pretty but that’s not enough for me. – Receptionist was rude & curt and being i own a hair salon shocked at her tone when speaking to me. – Seems like it would be a clam spa like vibe but the space is so smalland without asking friends to speak softly it’s extremely uncomfortable because you’re basically in their conversation without wanting to be & not at all relaxing.

Actually was so stressful i walked home in the flip flops after being polished. – Too expensive for the pretend atmosphere and staff was not trained in a way that makes them different than any local salon.

Nothing special about their talent. – Polish dried my nails out severely.

This is by far my favourite sheer nail polish ever. It’s this really gorgeous warm shade of pink that really does look like rose quartz on it own and when I paint a layer of it over another neutral opaque shade I get more of a coral look to whatever it is.

I tried to show that with a stripe down the middle over top of which is a PINK PINK. normally I’d do it over something more nude but I just reviewed that colour and had it on already haha! I love dear Sunday’s nail polishes.

Nontoxic, vegan, cruelty free! I suck at painting my nails and I find the polish itself corrects for me a lotttttt (obviously not what I get on my cuticles but in terms of texture). I find that they last shockingly long—as someone who usually can’t keep nail polish on for more than a day having a nail polish last me a week without chipping is a huge deal.

To clarify, I only find that to be the case if I pair it with the top and base coat from them. I just threw it on super quickly to take a picture to show the colour but it’s not showing up great in the image and the polish was still wet and I snagged it on my curtain I was using for a white background so ignore the awful paint job lol.

I tried painting my nails on my own but I kept messing it up so many times. So I went to the nail salon to ask if they could use the nail polish brand and even they had a hard time working with it. They said the brush is uneven and too thick.

To me the base coat is the most annoying thing I’ve had to deal with. It’s way too sticky and it leaves these wispy little web-like strands. It also takes way too long to dry. I love all the colors they have to offer and that they’re cruelty free and free from 10 different kinds of toxins but I’m just going to have to look into other brands.

Pretty disappointed.

I was really excited about this one. The color looked absolutely awesome, and from the video, it seemed like it would apply pretty well, too. Unfortunately, it did not. The color was still pretty nice, but I only got there after 3 coats.

The first coat was completely sheer, which I was kind of expecting, so no issue there, but it was still relatively translucent and streaky on the second coat. The other problem I had with it, is that while it was translucent, the formula was also really thick at the same time, making it difficult to apply.

I ended up with some micro bubbles by the time the second coat dried. The third coat helped make the micro bubbles a little less noticeable, but it still bothered me some. It *is* a lovely color once it is opaque, but the consistency and the micro bubbles just didn’t make for a pleasant experience.

I ended up using a sparse gold glitter topper/fast-dry coat over it, which made me like the end result better. On the plus side, whether it was specifically this polish or the base or the top coat I used or any combo of the three, it’s been a good week plus a couple days, and it’s not chipped a bit.

Just wish it was a smoother, thinner, slightly more opaque formula, similar to what looks like what was shown in the application video.

I can not fully describe my love for this polish but I will try to lol. I refuse to wear anything else. 1. The shade is amazing. It’s sheer but with two coats you get a beautiful clear/pinky color that gives your nails a beautiful healthy tint.

2. The formula is nice and thin but not runny. It layers beautifully. Has a decently dry down time. And it’s water permeable, meaning water can penetrate it. (I’m Muslim and its important that water be able to touch every part of our hands nails when washing our hands) 3.

It wears a lot better than most other polishes I used to wear. I can go a week with no chips. (I wear gloves when cooking washing dishes though) 4. It’s just beautiful. It’s so classy and pretty. It gives you a clean polished look and can go with anything.

I get compliments all the time. I’ve been wearing it for almost three years and never get sick of it. Love it!.

Perfect Match has become my very favorite gel polish. I get my nails done about every 4 weeks. that’s right. FOUR WEEKS. because my nails last that long with this polish. I always get 3 coats of color on my nails, I find that it helps it last longer.

I have gotten so many colors from this brand that I could not even name them all, but my favorite will always be black! I like this polish because it’s not super thick like other gels that I have had on before.

m. I’ve been getting gel manicures with LeChat perfect match polish since july. every 2 weeks religiously and I can’t believe how great my nails look! Maroonscape is my favorite color. I love that the perfect match comes with the coordinating EXACT color in regular polish for my pedicure! Its so hard to match gel colors with regular colors! I would suggest soaking in the acetone for as long as possible when its time for a color change.

I noticed that when my tech soaked for less that 10 min I would have more damage done to my real nail.

Loved! Great color and It was very durable! I wore this for a party and I got so many compliments on it! Lasted me for over 2 and a half weeks and got great use out of it! Definitely would buy again!

Mood Polish is a line of thermal polishes, which change colour depending on the temperature. Deep Sea is an dark olive, shimmer polish in its cold form, which turns to bronze shimmer when warm. The formula was easy to work with.

I used 3 coats which gave me perfect coverage (2 coats would have probably been enough, but I remembered that when I used another Mood polish the 2 coats looked opaque in its cold form, but streaky when warm, so I decided to apply 3 coats just in case).

In my previous Mood polish (Skies the Limit), the change between the colours wasn’t too striking, but with Deep Sea you can clearly see the change. My nails are quite long right now, so most of the time my tips looked different to the rest of the nail (as you can see in my picture).

However, I didn’t like this colour combo in the slightest. The nail being bronze/orange most of the time and the tip olive/black it looked like my nails had dirt under them. The only time I can see this look being appropriate would be during Halloween.

I like Mood polishes as they are a talking point with my customers and colleagues alike, but Deep Sea would be the bottom of my list for this polish line.

i’ve been using the gelish “dark shadow” for a year now, but it was always too streaky and transparent for my liking. i read somewhere that this gel polish was great so i gave it a go. PROS: the actual color is really awesome.

it could be opaque in one coat, but i keep my coats on the thinner side so i always do 2 thin coats and cure for 60 seconds between for perfect, even, blackness. it looks great, the bottle is huge, and you get a matching bottle of regular black polish that is equally awesome.

easy to soak off in about 20 minutes with acetone. CONS: even used with a base and top coat, it doesn’t last for very long. it could be because im constantly getting my hands wet at work, but usually i can get about 3-4 days out of this before the corners start to peel and chip.

Absolutely love this this nail polish! First, the Sally Hansen Color Therapy line is so amazing. The quality of the nail polish itself, I think is the best out there. Also, the quality of the brush is the best I have ever used, it makes using it so much smoother and easier.

Creates a very polished (no pun intended) and professional look. The Haute Stone color is fabulous. It is not as deeply brown as the picture shows, however, it is still so beautiful. I might make this color my signature color it is that good.

Highly recommend this brand and color to anyone who is either looking to try something new or looking for a something to stick with. This nail polish makes such a statement. Love it so much!.

Now I’m not very nail worthy tech kinda gal but I do try my best to make sure my nails and or cuticles are as healthy and strong as possible. I do take health pills (Biotin) which helps with growth while this litter guy helps with keep it moisturized, glossy and healthy looking.

It does def get the job done in doing what it needs to. Would I suggest it? Definitely! However I must say I do feel like you can probably do the same thing with some organic oil of some sort aha 😅 All in all it’s a good product.

I have short nails so colors are hard to pick for polish. I stumbled across this beautiful color at the drugstore today so Ipicked it up. It’s called reflection pool and it is a blue green that shifts with movement.

It was easy to apply and dried rather quickly. It does go on a bit heavy so make sure the excess is of the brush before painting your nails or it does take a bit to dry. I used two coats for maximum color payoff.

It’s reasonably priced coming in at $7. 99 per bottle. I have several bottles of the color therapy line and they both perform the same.

Ho Ho holy moly! This is an AMAZING polish! Most glitter polishes (which is the version I’m reviewing) smear when you put them on or don’t show up at all. This Deep Sea Diamonds polish shows up and then some! It not only has small glitter but bigger pieces as well which makes it super sparkly! I’m wearing it over a darker color but you can definitely wear this on its own.

Two coats is all you need but you can get away with one. The formulation is on the thicker side which helps keep the glitter in tact. Add a quick dry top coat and you’re done! Highly recommend! I have used the Miracle Gel 2 step system for years. I have been pretty happy with it in the past. I find it does best on toes that don’t chip nearly as easily as fingernails. I have never had any issue with the step 2 top coat in the black bottle.

Recently, I needed a new bottle of top coat. I purchased one (now in a silver bottle) and the formula is HORRIBLE! Within one second of applying it over any color, it lifts my color off ruining what I’ve just painted on my toes.

I have used the old bottles thousands of times and I’ve never had this happen before. I don’t know if they changed the formula with the new bottle, but I hate it and it honestly makes me want to stop using the product I’ve been happy with for years.

I would give this A MUCH higher rating if this issue can be fixed or if someone can explain why this is happening all of a sudden. I have not changed how I’m applying the product, so it’s not user error.

I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn’t be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don’t have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I’ve got shellac on.

And what’s even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I’m now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! Couldn’t recommend this more!.

This is thee bombest nail polish I have ever laid eyes upon! And hear I was thinking it would just be this metallic gray. ha! um, ladies this has rainbow holographic reflects. I purchased the Rock Your World 1565 shade.

Had I known it looked like it does, I probably would have bought 4-5, especially being on sale. It looks exactly like the holographic nail powder, but with way less mess and clean up. Of course it’s Essie, so it lasts well on the nail 5-7 chip free days.

Love the classic Essie rounded paint brush, works like butter applying. Please just buy it if you like/love rainbow/holographic. It’s my favorite Essie shade as of now. Does need 2-3 coats to look like the bottle, but even one coat is beautiful, which I’ve never liked, said, or thought before this.

I am so shocked to see so many reviewers saying this doesn’t work for them. I guess I’m very fortunate. I have NEVER found a polish or acrylic that works for me until this one. Polish usually chips within 24 hrs and acrylics lift within 7 days.

I had a nail technician tell me it’s because I have very oily nail beds. But the OPI Infinite Shine system has done wonders for my nails! I’m terribly impatient and usually have a hard time sitting still until polish dries.

This dries so quickly it’s never a problem. I can do my fingers and toes an hour before bed and wake up to shiny nails with no sheet marks at all. I can easily go a week on my fingers and 3 weeks on my toes without needing any touch ups at all.

When I do have a little wear on the tips I just use a very fine grit buffing block and knock the shine off, put a new coat of polish on over the existing polish and top off with the top coat and it looks like I have a brand new manicure! I will also say this is the most forgiving top coat I’ve ever used.

If I accidentally touch the polish and have a little smudge the top coat smoothes it right out. It also gives my nails strength. It’s nothing for me to break a couple of nails a day when not wearing polish.

With this I rarely break a nail. My favorite nail product of all time!.

Incentivized for the Opi infinite shine campaign on #influenster through #Ulta. com. I was glad to find all the shades I was looking for through the Ulta. com app but had a hiccup with customer service I had never encountered before that got me a little ruffled.

It was quickly shipped but with excessively poor packing that damaged the chrome paint on the bottles. Which I am fortunate was the only issue cause the way they packed it could easily have broken everything in it.

To which I wrote CS and they did not seem to care. So I expect nothing will change. I am not real happy with the downside I have seen shipping and handling customer care from Ulta lately. Onto the actual polish.

It’s a lovely shade of light pink with no nude/ brown town to it. Just above ballet slipper. Though it looked a little more watery than I prefer, it did not run at all and I had good control with each layer.

I tried a thin on and a thicker one to check coverage. You can get good coverage with one layer done thickly. If that is your preference. Dry time isn’t to long, either. By the time you get through coat one, you may be ready to do coat two.

It’s not matte or satin but not a super shiny color either. Just a pretty petal pink for spring.

I’ve used OPI products since I was a little girl. It’s long been a favorite nail care brand of my mother’s. She went through many years where she would only wear I’m not really a waitress, I still associate that color with that ideal woman we always wanted to be when we grew up.

So, when I was offered to participate in this cashback campaign, even though I had never used any of the infinite shine products, I knew I would love it. It’s even better than I thought!!! Alpine Snow is an old favorite color of mine but the blue color: To Be Continued is new to me.

TBC is a beautiful light baby blue that is mesmerizing! It would work in literally every season and I do think it would be beautiful on most skin tones. The OPI formula has always been a winner. Opaque in 2 coats, dries fairly quickly, and I’m really loving how shiny these are even before a top coat! 10/10 definitely would recommend and I plan to purchase many more colors from this line! #OPIInfiniteShinexUlta #ulta.

Essie nail polish overall is 10/10 I absolutely recommend. In my opinion it’s the best drugstore option and well worth the price. I just tried essie polish for the first time 2 months ago. I’ve been wearing acrylics for the last 8+ so I rarely payed attention to polishes at the store.

I was only planning on letting my nails rest for a week or two but I was so amazed with how my nails looked after the first use , I decided to try and strengthen/grow out my natural nails. I’ve bought 11 different shades already and there’s soooo many more I want!! The color options are EVERYTHING!! Dopest colors for sure !! The formula is perfect.

You could definitely get away with doing just one coat. It’s not even a little bit clumpy or hard to blend. The brush evenly coats each layer on so incredibly smooth. And conveniently dries super quick.

I’ve been changing my color more often than normal but when left alone, it stays on for almost 2 weeks without chipping!!! Each polish contains a generous amount of polish. I did use an entire bottle of one of the colors but I was going back to that color every other day or so for both fingers and toes so I’d say 40 separate occasions at minimum 2 coats each.

The only negative is that I don’t have every single color yet!!!!! * Currently wearing “play date” and I’ve received so many compliments. It’s not too dark but it isn’t super light either. Its a beautiful color for both summer and fall.

I’ll definitely be using it the next few months.

I have been through 37 years of hands in cleaning solvents, then menopause nightmares & health issues galore. my nails don’t even grow any longer, they are simply frayed at the edges & worse. Ive been through the “best” and most expensive polishes on the market today & NONE of would stay on even 48 hours.

I bought PURE POLISH as a bit of a joke because of my “organic; holistic ” sister. I wanted to tease her about my new “plant based” polish. Boy was I ever surprised when it not only glided on like a dream, covered like a dream and STAYED ON for days like a dream, even before I went back to purchase the top coat ; but Im blown away by this product and it is SOOOO beautiful on, plus the colors are killer & there is absolutely NO SMELL.

it is worth every single penny. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. Only issue , Im hunting everywhere for the prettiest shade ever, called NATURAL SPRING #371. First time I ever saw it & its the perfect resort colour, but now I cant find it ANYWHERE , not even on their site here.

Im heartbroken. Other than that they’ve got my heart 100% for this product. My next favorite color that rocked my world ? the black sparkle ( dont have the numbr in front of me) & there is MORE to share.

I thought any polish with this much grip & tenacity would be a bear to get OFF, esp. after I layered 3 coats ! but. much to my shock. its also a dream to wipe off. TLDR: Takes a long time to dry (-1 star) but lasts 7-10 days chip free. Part of my regular nail polish routine. I have repurchased this top coat multiple times so far. It’s one of my go-to nail products, however, I do have some complaints.

My top points: – I feel like this top coat takes FOREVER to dry regardless of what polish I use with it. – Once it’s dry (ugh it takes so long!) it lasts chip free for 7-10 days which is really unheard of for me.

I haven’t had that reliability with any other top coat or nail polish. – I have a routine that I feel like makes my nails dry faster but last just as long. 1. One coat Sally Hansen good kind pure base coat 2.

Two thin layers of nail polish (Sally Hansen good kind pure, Essie, and Terra Beauty are my favs) 3. One coat Ella milla quick dry (in a rush) top coat to get everything dry quickly 4. THIS One coat Sally Hansen good kind pie to seal it all in – !! Make sure to seal the tip of your nails!! This routine seriously makes my nail polish last longer than anything else I’ve ever tried.

I purchased this Sally Hansen nail polish in a beautiful deep red color Cherry Amore. I normally really love all Sally Hansen products and I buy them often because I love caring for and polishing my own nails.

This products is a good product but the smell is awful and it lasts well after the polish is dry. I couldn’t take it and even after spending the time to do a full manicure I had to remove it the next day.

I don’t know what kind of fragrance is used in this particular polish but it’s VERY strong. It doesn’t smell bad but once my nails are dry, I don’t want to smell any polish at all. It’s almost like a masking scent used to cover up normal nail polish scent.

A very sweet kind of coconut smell. If you like coconut I guess it’s ok for a few days but for me, I didn’t like the smell. I gave it away after just one use.

I love reds, but they are not flattering to my skin, and after trying out quite a few polishes which promised to be on the cool side, I found this one of OPI’s, Madame President, to be nearly perfect.

I had no trouble with the application or durability, used 2 coats for beautiful coverage. I really like the OPI’s formula for the Infinite Shine line. Compared to some other OPI reds, it is softer, a bit lighter than OPI by Popular Vote, and cooler in tone than OPI Red, but it is closer to OPI Red than to OPI by Popular Vote.

I also have tried OPI’s Defy Explanation, and found that too warm. Cha-Ching Cherry is also warmer, but brighter, not quite as muted as Defy Explanation. OPI’s 15 Minutes of Flame, while containing some cooler notes, appears warmer because of the gold aspect of the metallic tones in it.

It’s beautiful, but not attractive on me. As a summer woman, I am ash-brown haired, with greenish blue eyes, and look best in dusty, or grayed versions of blue-greens, purples, lilacs, lavenders, medium blues, pinks, mauves, silver-grays, etc.

, but look washed out in royal blue, navy, red, emerald, black, hot pink, and look positively ghastly in the clear bright warm colors such as the corals, oranges, browns, tomato reds or the muted autumn earth tones.

Hope this helps someone else who’d like a slightly softer, blued red nail polish!.

I bought this to help my nails recover from the false nails which I had applied/removed over Christmas. The removal was awful and has damaged my nail bed. So, I invested in this set, as I wanted to heal them.

I already wear Nail Envy and had originally wanted this set in pink, but only the beige was available. I bought it anyway, as the value for money is brilliant! This set is so understated that you could wear this nail system in a work environment where nail polish is frowned upon, especially if you put Nail Envy Matte on as the last step.

I really like it, the first coat ‘1’, has a very subtle sparkle to it that I like and my nails are slowly recovering. Thank you QVCUK and OPI, as always, brilliant!.

This one was quite impressive. I really liked the color, so I thought I would try, though I generally don’t bother with even a clear coat. I am always cleaning, working in the garage or some other random thing and beating up my hands.

This stuff is hanging on for dear life, and I just used one coat, by itself. Most pertinent to me, is that it isn’t chipping. That is why I don’t even wear clear coats, generally. If I sense one bit of a potential chip, I take to picking it all off.

This product more or less faded around the edges and never chipped. The color is very cool – it looks completely different in different lights. I would definitely purchase more from this range.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have no idea about the product but the packing is horrible. There are no directions on how to apply the product in the box. I got the brush out, but no sunscreen was on the brush.

I could not figure out how to get the sunscreen out onto the brush, nor could I figure out how to get the brush to retract. In frustration I turned the brown cap at the bottom of the tube – which then released ALL OF THE SUNSCREEN all over me, the sink and counter – essentially wasting the ENTIRE product.

Thus the purchase was a complete waste. I did not see any instructions on use and application until I read the questions on this site. For the cost of the product, it is really bad packing. On this point alone, I would not not recommend.

I debated about leaving only 2 stars, but one of my 2 points is only applicable to how it is not a great fit for ME (& others like me), so that cannot be fully counted against it. That point is that it is too light of a color for me, and I am a Fair to Medium skin type.

so that is saying something. I don’t even have a tan at this moment/am still in winter skin with just the teeniest hint of springtime walks. I meant it to replace my powder for the spf defense, but it is almost like I need to put bronzer and blush back on afterwards to give myself some color back.

and I could use it as foundation, of course, but they same need would apply. So clearly, it would not match my skin during the summer, when I will surely be using spf even more diligently. The other point is applicable to anyone.

the delivery device seems wasteful/not that accurate. I would much rather have a jar of this powder that I could then swirl my brush into than trying to shake it out onto the brush, hoping for something.

because what happens is that with this self-contained version, as I brush it on, I see a lot of it floating in the air as well. I don’t generally see that with my other powders that I manually apply onto my brushes the traditional way.

I am bummed about this because I had been wanting to try it for awhile, but had not run out of other product and needed to be frugal. Weirdly, I am glad that I got to try it out so that I know, just in case they ever discontinue it, because I would have held it up in my mind as “oh man, I wanted to try that! Wish I had ordered sooner!”.

but, I will not be purchasing this again. I will try to make do with what I have and use color as needed to make me look alive again.

This lip butter is absolutely beautiful to use. I love the juicy coral color it left on my lips as it matched well with my complexion and ofcourse my eye look. I was worried at first because the color of the lip butter is actually a darker color and thag color would not suit me.

Luckily when I applied this I saw the coral color and was happy with the appliance. My lips had felt very hydrated and lovely thanks to this and I wasn’t feeling like I need to wipe it off. I wore this for a few hours and never did I once have to reapply it.

Yes some color did wash off a bit when I ate but I still loved it. I loved how ot felt very nourishing and didn’t have a dry down type of formula. Instead it felt like a balmy gloss that luckily didn’t sit weird on my lips at all.

I highly recommend this as you can wear this even on no makeup days and when you want a pop of color. Honestly I fell hard for this brand thanks to this lippie and their very affordable and nicely pigmented stuff.

I am reviewing the color ‘Nightdream’ I love the deep red hue of this color nail polish. It reminds me of a blood red,which I love! It has a nice wide brush that glides over nails in 2 swipes. I had to do 2 coats because it wasn’t good enough for me with just 1 coat.

It’s a nice thick consistency. These are a reasonable priced nail polish. I recommend trying this brand. They have a wide variety of colors!! Ella+Mila #Nailedit #Ellamila.

I’ve never used their polishes before, only the top coat and polish remover. I was hoping that their polish would be just as good, but I was struggling with it a bit with how it applied. The brush is nice and fans out clean, which is easy to menouver around the cuticles.

as for the application, this polish took a really long time to dry— longer than. then for applying a second coat, using less wasn’t an option. you basically need to glob it on for a full coverage. Thin streaks won’t do you much good.

Also, the top coat i used from ella + mila, ended up rewetting my polish and smudging it, rather coating it nicely like it did when I used the opi polish. Really odd. It also didn’t remove nicely, but globbed off.

Can’t say I’m a fan of this polish/ maybe its because I’m just a beginner with doing it myself.

I love the Ella + Mila nail polish formula. I have only tried 2 formulas from this line but definitely loving what I have tried so far! I have a beautiful opaque shimmer formula that is so easy to apply and dries pretty quickly.

The shimmer is a thinner formula so while it is opaque in one coat I still prefer 2 coats on my nails! The glitter is so beautiful it applies really well for a glitter polish and it’s fun top coat with pops of unique colors or can be applied as an opaque glitter.

The last color shown here is Wicked Fierce; I ordered it 2x and both times SDM sent Berry Nice, instead. They have the SKUs mixed up and even though they reimbursed me for the polish, they have still not fixed the error on the website.

This color is a very shimmery, classy, pale pink! It is one of my favorite colors and looks great on both fingernails and toenails. I wish it was a part of essie’s permanent collection but I don’t think it is so get it while you can!.

Its not the same color as the picture! Its a much darker red. I wanted a lighter red but Ill keep it

I have tried this polish several times and I wish they would change their brush/tip. I feel like the brush always gets wonky after a few uses. The little hairs of the brush fold out or become hard. These polishes tend to dry out fairly quickly compared to my other polishes.

The price of these polishes is extremely reasonable but I am just not a huge fan of the product itself. I feel this polish would be good for beginners or younger teens, just for the simple fact that it’s pretty cheap.

The one thing I do love about Essie is that they have a very wide variety of colors. Their colors are absolutely beautiful! I’m not saying this is a bad polish by any means, just not for me.

I purchased both the ‘bolt and be bold’ and ‘dial it up’ 2 weeks ago. Finally had time to paint my toe nails and I’m pretty disappointed in the quality. First, both brushes are put on unevenly, and it either collects too much polish or not enough.

The first swipe and it was all over the place. I’m not a professional nail artist, but I’m not a newbie. It looks like a small child slapped it on. The uneven brush makes it impossible to control. To spend $20 on nail polish is a luxury, and I expected way better quality.

I’ll stick with the $3 bottle of Sally Hansen.

This was my first time using Essie nailpolish and now I’m hooked! The color is really pretty! You can tell it’s going to be a good polish by how thick the polish looks on the brush and I was correct! One coat is enough but I added a second for safe measure! It hasn’t chipped yet I thought it would of because I hand wash dishes but it’s still looking pretty! Highly impressed and will never use another brand again! Even my daughters were raving about the new polish to their friends!.

I put green on 7 days ago and as you can see from the pictures, it’s intact. It’s not perfect because I managed to hit it whit a knife the very first day I put it on. During these 7 days, I took showers, washed dishes with bare hands and did all chores needed in the house.

I’m pleased about the purchase.

It’s an amazing nail polish as all of Manucurist ones. The only thing is that the color is a bordeaux, and I excpected it a bit cooler. Anyway, great purchase! Great to make rainbow manicure in shades of pink.

This is the second time I’ve ordered nail polish from this brand and I’m just as satisfied as the first time I did. The colours are beautiful and the application / durability performs just as well as conventional brands – but without all the nasty ingredients so I’m super happy!.
