This stuff works amazingly! Our pup is sooooo much whiter after using it. I didn’t even realize he could get so white! Also, it suds up so incredibly well. I took a star off for two reasons 1) I wish it had a pump.

It suds so well, but since it’s a squeeze bottle, I use way more than necessary. It’s hard with wet and soapy hands! 2) The scent is sooooo strong. It gives me a headache, honestly, and my pup smells like the shampoo for at least a week after (yes, I am rinsing incredibly thoroughly).

I also think the scent might bother him a bit. Not sure if I’d buy another bottle because of this.

I have used this shampoo only once so my review may be updated at a later time from now I am neither impressed or completely dissatisfied with the product. I did notice it had a strange odor it reminded me of a hair perm.

The smell is not the same once the shampoo is rinsed out but I did notice my dog has a stronger smell of shampoo at bedtime than I personally like and I know without a doubt that all shampoo was rinsed out because I rinse for a very long time.

As for his brightness he is an English cream Labrador and his coat is nice but I do not notice a difference in the brightness. The shampoo itself was easy to lather and rinse not too thick or thin. Right now I am very undecided on whether I will buy again but maybe if my dog was a white white coat and not cream I would have seen a difference.

Used this for the first time today on a white miniature poodle. Senior dog but I have only had him a few weeks. It made his coat very soft and easy to brush. I would say the smell/perfume is medium in strength.

Not as subtle as what I use on my other dogs but its not a slap in the face either. He just smells freshly bathed. Didnt “whiten” him but he looks maybe a little brighter. Would buy again.

I can’t say enough good things about this product. I use it in conjunction with the matching conditioner. It’s the only brand I’ll ever use on my girl, and we’ve been using it for four years now. First, the bottle is huge and it easily lasts for 2-3 years with my 2kg Chihuahua Pan.

The smell is sweet, mild and non irritating, and it doesn’t last especially long for those unable to handle fragrances. I am allergic to most fragrances but this is so gentle it doesn’t bother me at all.

It lathers well, and when used alongside the conditioner Pan is so silky soft and glossy. It hydrates well, doesn’t dry her out, and I actually find I need to bathe her way less often using this product.

We started her on this when she was a puppy, so it is very puppy safe. I highly recommend it, especially for dogs with skin issues.

This conditioner & shampoo is wonderful and comes highly recommended. My Shiba Inu just came from a Puppy Mill as a RESCUED 7 year old breeding female. She was so dirty, oily, and smelly that it was nearly impossible to be in the same room with her! After her bath her coat color was vibrant, she was soft and smelled so nice.

[One thing I have to add: This product warns not to get it into the eyes of your pet. when my girl gave a good shake some got into my eyes! Ouch! Be careful with this. I used no tears baby shampoo for her head and near her eyes] I will use this product again and sing its praises to anyone who wants a good shampoo/conditioner for their dogs.

This shampoo is excellent for hairless cats – we use it to bathe our two Sphynxs. They came to us from a rescue that wasn’t comfortable washing them and had been wiping them down with coat wipes, but both cats desperately needed a full bath.

We were able to wet and then lather them and this shampoo dissolved 70-80% of the dirt and oils that had accumulated on them within 60-90 seconds. Each bath only took 3-4 minutes and both cats came away looking brand new.

Best part is there are no artificial fragrances and the ingredients are skin safe, so we aren’t worried about them licking themselves after bath time. Highly recommend if you need a quick, effective bath time product!.

I bought this originally for my nieces new and tiny miniature Dockson puppy and we ended up using it on her other mini Dockson and our poodle. It’s almost impossible to bath your dog or puppy with out them licking the water or the soap on themselves.

This soap they can get distracted in licking it and it is gentle enough that it won’t hurt them a bit. *not that I’m suggesting to reward bad habits but if you bath your pets at home then you known the struggle is real!* We still use this even though they aren’t puppies anymore.

The other big thing I love about this is I can wash above the neck! I am careful to protect their eyes but it’s so nice to have a shampoo that doesn’t say wash from neck down, leaving your dog still dirty.

It does wonders for both the wiener dogs coats-one is short haired, one is long haired. Leaving everyone silky smooth and smelling amazing for days!.

As a professional groomer by trade, I have been exclusively using Earthbath products for over 10+ years. I was so thrilled when Earthbath came out with this Puppy Shampoo and I couldn’t wait to try it out.

This shampoo lathers nicely and has a pleasant “cherry” scent. It is easy to also completely rinse out which is very important. I have not seen any puppy that I have bathed have an adverse reaction to this shampoo.

They always leave my business smelling fresh and looking pretty thanks (in part) to this shampoo.

This product is amazing. There are different options of smell, including no smell at all. I personally really love the Lavander scent, as it helps in calming my fur baby while I clean her. It is all natural, which is the best.

This is a real tearless shampoo and if your doggo has allergies like mine does and gets sticky around his tear ducts, this is really gentle and keeps the area clean. Because of his Dameranian hybrid breed, he has sensitive skin too, but the shampoo seems to work fine.

A little of the clear, tear-free shampoo covered his body. I worked it around his eyes and muzzle, where he had a lot of fur, and he didn’t seem to mind. This shampoo is safe for delicate paw pads, so I worked it into those areas too, and he didn’t seem to respond to it any differently.

John Paul pet oatmeal shampoo for sensitive skin formula for dogs and cats it moisturizes the dry skin and contains pure oatmeal, aloe vera gel and sweet almond oil. I was very impressed how well it moisturizes.

I was offered the opportunity to try out John Paul’s pet oatmeal shampoo which is perfect for my Shih Tzu at 7 pounds and has dry skin, for free for my honest opinion. It arrived quickly well packaged.

It has a very sweet oatmeal almond smell which is very pleasant it is clearish yellow in color number five. It does not lather up like some shampoos, but it does go on easily and rinses off very well.

He also dried off faster than his usual shampoo. I used the shampoo on my Shih Tzu it relieved any frizzy, Course hair. It seems to be heavy on his hair, as for the most arising, also I would like to add it easily allowed me to brush out knots while his hair was wet, super fabulous.

The John Paul pet oatmeal shampoo for sensitive skin formula for dogs and cats left his hair shiny and fluffy very soft with a pleasant smell. since it says tested on humans first, I gave it a go and washed my hair which is very thin and light and sometimes frizzy it was very heavy on my hair it relieved all frizziness but at the same time my scalp looking too oily, so from what I gather if I would just use it on the bottom half of my dry frizzy hair it would work perfect to relieve that issue.

I’d definitely recommend the John Paul Pet oatmeal shampoo my dog loved it, With no irritation and Super conditioned with just the shampoo very clean, shiny hair and looking beautiful.

I have tried many dog shampoo’s due to my two girls being itchy at times so I am a skeptic for new products. Oatmeal is what I buy as it is soothing to the coat and does seem to help with itching, I was happy to find a new oatmeal shampoo to try.

I noticed that my girl did not shy away and she did have a few red patches but this shampoo did not sting or bother them or her. I found it to lather pretty good not overly bubbly but just enough to feel effective in cleaning her coat.

JP Pet Shampoo is specially formulated to moisturize dry flaky, sensitive skin and it does that plus it contains Aloe Vera gel and sweet almond oil. The scent is very mild and not over powering I actually wish it had a little more almond scent to it but I was very impressed with how my dog did not have that wet dog smell after her bath.

After she was dry I kept smelling her fur and it smelled clean and neutral no doggy smell at all but a pleasant slight almond scent. My favorite thing is she dove under the covers and slept good all night after her bath with no scratching at least for the first night and I kept rubbing her fur it was very soft, silky and smooth I absolutely loved the feel of her fur after using this shampoo.

This is day two and she still has that wonderful soft, silky fur but she is back to itching some. Having dealt with allergies this l last year with my girl, shampoo’s can only do so much I am recommending this one because of what it does do and not as a cure but as a great soothing shampoo that does seem to help and I love that wonderful silky, soft fur she has after using this shampoo.

Definitely a good product. Used on my 3 cats (short, medium & long fur types. Long coat cat is senior, 10+ years), worked well on all coats 10/10 definitely helps make fur more manageable especially for my old girl.

We were struggling to keep her fur under control with brushes as she can no longer groom herself properly. Have had a much easier time since using this product as she is more open to this than a true bath.

I applied it to sections (ie chest, belly, back, tail/hind) in separate massaging sessions to avoid overwhelming them and I found it worked quite well. A great benefit to a dry shampoo. Obviously doesn’t do the job of a true shampoo when you have a mess monster like our short hair girl prides herself on but definitely a solid product when your cat doesn’t love mud puddles.

This is a great waterless shampoo! My ragdoll cat loves to take walks outside on her harness and leash but sometimes after rolling in the leaves and exploring she comes inside smelling less than fresh.

Since she typically dislikes baths, I use this shampoo as a quick fix to make her instantly smell better. This shampoo goes into your hands foamy but is very easy to apply, and soaks in relatively quickly.

My cat doesn’t love when I put it on her but from what I have seen it does not irritate her fur at all. The only con is that the berry scent wears off quickly so this is not a replacement for if your pet really smells, it’s more of a tool to tide you over until you can give them a proper bath.

This shampoo is horrible and a waste of my money. My dogs are 12 and 13 and I have used a lot of different shampoos over the years. This is by far the worst. I used it for the first time yesterday so I don’t know how soothing it will be for their skin, but it doesn’t matter because I won’t be buying it again.

This cost too much money not to work as directed. The directions literally tell you to work up a rich lather. Is that a joke? You’ll waste it all of you think you are getting any type of lather. This soaps up just slightly and that’s after using more than you should have to.

No matter how it works on their skin, I will not be buying a shampoo that requires me to use so much of it, which in turn makes me purchase more of it. Perhaps that’s what they want but not me. There are way too many good shampoos out there for less.

I’d even pay more for a shampoo that lathers up. Not sure why all the glowing reviews, but save your money.

Real review here — if your dog’s rash is chronic and severe, this alone will not completely rid of it (you should really go to your vet), however, it definitely makes a difference. I’m a pet sitter and had a dog stay with me who came with a chronic rash made worse by my grass.

I used Good&Well Oatmeal Medicated Shampoo/Conditioner and it made a huge difference. The shampoo cleaned very well, is fragrance free, and didn’t trip the moisture from his skin. Certainly soothed his skin, made his hair easier to brush, and lessened the severity of itching.

10/10 would recommend.

I bought this mainly because it smelled good, and it had a decent price point. I ahve used other De-shedding shampoo’s before and they work ok. But this for me, should have come with a warning label.

I used it on my lab mix that has a pretty thick fluffy coat. Hair was coming out like crazy in the bath. The next morning I woke up and noticed she had a ton of ashy splotches all over coat which is a patch of under coat coming out.

I took her out immediately to brush her and SO MUCH HAIR CAME OUT. I had a basketball sized ball of hair just in 5 minutes of brushing. She literally looks 10lbs lighter thanks to this shampoo completely blowing out her undercoat over night.

My dog is allergic to everything and it has been an incredible battle with hot spots. She has regular baths, flea medication monthly, incredible diet and lives in a clean environment and even with all that we could not get her itching and hot spots under control.

This product is AMAZING! As soon as she was rinsed the itching and scratching stopped. She slept like a baby for the first time in two years! So happy we discovered this product at Petco. If your dog is suffering from the same or similar conditions, give this shampoo a try.

My beautiful grand champion American Eskimo developed crusty spots and sores, and had lost most of her impossibly thick coat. What coat she had left was loaded with dead skin flakes. I had been battling this undiagnosed skin issue for 4 months, also giving antibiotics and Apoquel for itching and licking spots bare and raw.

After bathing every few days with this shampoo her coat was no longer loaded with the flakes, but the spot she slept in would still have lots of dead skin every morning. Nothing was working and her condition worsened to the point she refused all food.

I had been suspecting something going on besides the skin issue and 2 days ago found lymph nodes in her neck very swollen. It turned out to be cutaneous lymphoma and I had to let her go yesterday. I am heartbroken.

I would like to warn others this skin condition is the first symptom of this lymphoma and is usually treated as an allergy or infection for a few months before lymphoma can be diagnosed. Please bring this up with your vet if your dog begins having these symptoms.

I have a sweet little pittie with very sensitive skin. She gets acne like bumps on her back and little red spots on her tummy. The vet recommended this brand for wipes for hot spots. When I saw the shampoo I figured it was worth a shot.

It’s a miracle product. I give her 2 baths a month with this and let it sit on her coat for about 5 minutes before rinsing. She has a shiny healthy coat with healthy skin underneath.

My kitten had ring worm when I first adopted him. The vet recommended me to use it along with the Douxo Mousse. It was recommended that I give him a shower every day or even every other day until the ring worm is completely gone, but I used it on him only twice a week for the first week and then only once a week.

Mousse was every night. There was no sign of ring worm anymore after 3 weeks. But please if there’s any concern with pet’s skin, please visit the vet first, and most importantly, always keep your house clean.

We used this on our French bulldog after he went swimming in an algae filled canal. We were advised in the shop that this would be better for sensitive skin, and would have a less strong smell. It lathered well, smelled nice and most importantly it got all the muck off him and left him smelling lovely and fresh.

We also noticed that he was licking his paws a lot less. Personally I liked that it was too strongly scented, I do agree that the lid for the shampoo is a poor fit, but other than that I think it’s a really good product.

The shampoo conditioner and fragrance all smell really nice. The shampoo and conditioner have a thick luxurious feel to them. It made Bo’s white bits very clean, i thought it gave a deep cleaning element.

I don’t think they are natural although couldn’t see SLS in the ingredients. They are a good product.

I decided to splash out and buy the most expensive shampoo on the shelf. What a let down! Hardly any lather, very little smell of coconut and the poorly designed lid has already snapped off and I’ve had to transfer contents to another container.

Will be going back to my usual brand for less than half the price.

We have used this wonderful product on our dog for a few months now and it does clear up his terrible skin problems. He heals up very well after a 3x a week treatment for one week then we use it the next week once and then the following week once again.

After approx. 3 weeks free of problems he breaks out again. He does get a bacterial infection now and then and it works well with that. It cost a lot more for the steroid treatment and antibiotics at the vets which we have gone through.

His allergies are terrible but this shampoo works well and he is so much better. Thank you for this great product it does work well.

Our German Shepherd has suffered from mold allergy since our recent move to FL. This resulted in stubborn fungal and yeast dermatitis that caused him extreme itchiness and discomfort as well as some hair loss.

Ketochlor has been a key component of his specialist veterinarian-directed treatment program. With oral meds and an every 5 day bathing regimen, he has recovered and his skin and coat have returned to normal, but the vet dermatologist/allergist whom our dog sees has told us that it will be necessary to bathe with Ketochlor once a week indefinitely to prevent recurrance.

The product is expensive but highly effective. It only works if the directions to leave the lather in for 20 mins are followed. Do not bathe in warm water or use a warm hair dryer and be sure to rinse very thoroughly afterwards.

Leaves a nice scent. We have appreciated the prompt delivery time and pleasant service from VetRxDirect.

My shih tzu/min pin mix is 3, and she had horrible greasy patches and extreme flaky skin. My vet said it looked like a fungal/yeast irritation and prescribed this shampoo. Before this, I had tried everything i read on the internet – oatmeal shampoos, adding salmon oil and coconut oil in food, holistic grain-free/potato free food.

All that stuff. Nothing worked. THIS SHAMPOO WORKS. I lathered her for 10 minutes, rinsed thoroughly, and air dried her. The NEXT DAY her flakes and grease patches were GONE. My vet also gave antibiotic and anti fungal meds, as well as temaril for itching (which I don’t need to use after this bath).

I highly recommend, as long as you run it past your vet. I was feeling hopeless, but this shampoo is the real deal. My baby is happy and itch-free.

Purchased this one at the request of our old vet. Unfortunately this shampoo had very little affect on my dogs skin allergy improvement. We used 2xs/week and applied as directed on bottle head to tail, for 15 minutes then rinse.

It has a very pleasant smell and left his coat clean and shiny but did little else for his needs. Our new vet recommended MALASEB (yes, Chewy carries it but it is a prescription shampoo & will need to coordinate with your vet) which for us, was the game changer.

If your looking for a shampoo to keep mild symptoms at bay, it’s fine but if you need to stop itching and control severe inflammation then I recommend you look elsewhere. It’s a nice shampoo for the correct application.

This shampoo is great over all. It smells wonderful (Like Apple) and it does my dog’s skin amazing. My dog has very sensitive skin and is highly allergic to many things so his skin tends to easily flare up.

I’ve been using this shampoo for over a year now and I combine it with the Epi-soothe cream conditioner. I receive so many wonderful compliments from people even after a week of bathing my dog. It’s a good choice for a soft hypoallergenic shampoo for your pup if dealing with sensitive skin.

Be aware that this is the smaller bottle pictured (12 oz). Shampoo is not scented and worked fantastic. Was able to deep clean the pets without leaving their skin too dry. Other shampoos I’ve used cause a ton of dandruff issues, I’m happy to say this one didn’t.

Highly recommend especially if your pets are prone to fungal issues (like mine are). Was properly sealed and had no issues leaking during transit.

I originally bought this for my guinea pigs when one had a fungus-y toenail, and it helped clear it up (dry your piggy completely after bathing). The LA Guinea Pig Rescue actually uses this shampoo to treat and prevent ringworm! Then recently my dog’s skin allergies flared up so badly that she had a big scabby patch on her chest where she kept scratching and a few other red/irritated spots, so I gave her a bath using this shampoo and another brand’s oatmeal conditioner.

Her fur looks so nice, and the scabby spot has almost completely healed after a few days when weeks of using a topical cream had done nothing. This relieved her itching so well, and I’m excited to continue using it to manage her skin allergies.

I highly recommend this shampoo and the spray. My dog contracted ringworm and it began to spread rapidly on his belly. Even though I was putting a normal athletes foot cream on it, it was getting worse.

I bought these two Davis products, and it began to clear up quickly! The first week I had it, I gave him a bath every other day and left the soap on for 8-10 minutes and I put the spray on his belly at night (the spray is oily).

The first and second day, it became more red scaly. I was afraid he may be allergic to it, but it didn’t seem to bother him so I continued the treatment. But the 3rd day, the dead skin/scabs began flaking off and I able to wash some off in the bath.

By the end of the first week, the skin on the ringworm areas looked light pink and fresh. Then by the middle of the second week, it looked completely better. I am continuing to wash his bedding frequently with bleach and give him a bath twice a week for the next few weeks, but I am HIGHLY impressed with this product!!.

I loved this product before the latest bottle and was very happy to see the helpful pump bottle. The previous version of this shampoo had a nice, light scent. This last one has an overpowering scent.

I’m not sure why a change was made, particularly in a shampoo for dogs with skin issues. I had noticed the same odor but even stronger in the Duoxo wipes. I used one of those and threw the remainder in the trash after washing the dog’s feet to remove the smell.

Much as I liked the previous version of shampoo, I will look for another option. Having to toss a $37 bottle of shampoo and $15 for wipes has been an expensive and disappointing purchase.

My Malamute has environmental allergies that can manifest as anything from a mild yeasty smell to reeking of yeast and forming skin lesions. We tried a miconazole shampoo but he would be smelly again by the next day.

Bath time also took 3x as long because I had to use the medicated shampoo, regular shampoo, and conditioner to keep his coat healthy. At first this shampoo would keep the yeast smell down for a few days, which is already an improvement.

However, a month into using it weekly the smell doesn’t come back at all between baths. His coat is soft and shiny without needing to use other products. Plus, even with a large, long-haired dog that needs a lot of shampoo on a weekly basis I’ve barely put a dent in the large bottle after several baths.

Even if immunotherapy doesn’t work out I’m still forever thankful for the dermatologist for recommending this.

My dog had bumps all over her back that had not been controlled by medications or other medicated shampoos. This shampoo has been the only product I have found that controls her skin issues. It does work better used weekly.

I have no problem with the scent, it’s not overwhelming or unpleasant. The only con I’ve found is the pump is hard to use. Maybe because the dispenser doesn’t sit very high from the bottle or because the shampoo is thick, I’m not sure.

My dog is an unknown mix breed, (rescue), probably mini poodle & Bichon Frise. He is estimated 6 years old, & had skin problems since we’ve had him, 3 years ago. Itching, flaky, smelly & infected skin.

My vet prescribed Allergy pills, and using medicated shampoo, along with Allergi shots. It help for several seasons, untill diagnosed with STAPH infection several month ago, managed to treat as well.

But “old” skin infection reaccured, & medicated shampoo useless. Vet reccomandad this shampoo. I’ve used it twice, as directed. Pro – itch relief for 2 days. Cons – Need to wash him every 2 days – Shampoo’s scent is bed!!! – Skin not moisture enough.

Still flaky. I’ll give it one more try, yet already got another oat based shampoo, if not happy with results.

My dog has allergy issues which makes her chew her feet. That in turn makes them red and irritated. This shampoo helps with healing after she receives her allergy meds. It soothes her soreness and the red irritation goes away.

The shampoo does not have a lovely scent at all but it does not linger. I appreciate the fact this shampoo was intended for skin relief and not to leave a lasting scent.

First time buying this. It smells amazing and it lathers very nicely! It feels good on my hands too (my hands tend to get very itchy with most soaps). You can dilute it also- according to the label- which I did and it worked beautifully.

Our 18 month old border collie mix has been dealing with terrible itchy skin since at least 6 months old. We’ve gone to multiple vets, tried specialty foods, supplements, shampoos/conditioners/sprays.

The vet said it was just “his breed and his age” and was giving him Cytopoint injections every 8-12 weeks. These injections temporarily stop the itch, but do not get to the source of the problem. So as soon as they start to wear off, my poor pup would be back to itching.

After doing my own reading, I figured this was worth a shot (apparently one of the common symptoms of skin yeast infection in dogs is they have a distinct smell, even after bathing. To me, it’s similar to a popcorn or tortilla chip smell, which my dog totally had).

I followed the instructions twice a week for the first week, making sure to leave it on for the full ten minutes before rinsing. The difference was apparent even after the first wash. His itching and licking tapered off.

Even his coat looked fuller and more shiny. The shampoo is bright green. It’s not my favorite smell, but not terrible either. After all the money we spent on vet visits and other things, this $30 shampoo was worth every scent.

the vet sold us this for our bouvier. It is not helpful at all in our dog. s condition. I cannot stand the smell either- it smells like horrible grape cough medicine or something. Why do they think we want to smell grapes like that???? It is SO thick it barely penetrates the double coat of a bouvier.

We will go back to the other brand which works much better and smells so much nicer.

I just received this shampoo, today, and, am extremely happy with the product! I have a cocker spaniel, who has extreme allergies and skin problems (including ongoing fungal infections, seborrhea, and, beyond severe atopic dermatitis).

He has been on medications, constantly, for the past 6 months, and is now on 3 antibiotics,along with prednisone. He gets 3 to 5 baths a weeks, and, the prescription shampoo from the vet has been on backorder, for 2 months.

I am so happy that I found this shampoo! I, promptly, gave Gaige a bath, and followed the directions on the bottle. I put a small amount of shampoo in a container, and added water, making a nice sudsy mix (as another reviewer said it didn’t lather well).

It worked really well, that way. I left it on for 10 minutes, and, was able to scrub off all of the crusties and scabs. His skin felt so nice, afterwards, and his fur, I swear, looked brighter! I will, definitely, be using this shampoo on a routine basis! The vet has said, she has done everything that she knows to do for him, and, we are trying one last antibiotic, before he goes to a specialist in dog dermatology.

Hopefully, this shampoo will aide in his skin healing up, so, we don’t have to take that step!.

We’ve tried a lot of shampoos, wipes, lotions, balms, etc. This stuff seems to help the best. I use it with the spray, every day since her paws have been bad. She does have a reaction after we use them, but she calms down after a bit.

Basically she paces and hops around, acting like it’s bothering her, but I think it’s just that it’s actually working. Her paws become less red with regular use. She doesn’t lick or chew nearly as much or at all.

And the skin is smoother, less dry and cracked and flaky like it was. Hopefully it’ll help her heal and we won’t have to use them every single day. The shampoo itself has a nice consistency, not too thick or thin, smells nice and lathers decently.

It also really seems to be helping so we’ll continue using. The wipes do absolutely nothing though.

My Amstaff has a bacterial allergy that causes pimples, which burst and scab over. When the scabs fall off, so does her hair under the scab. Thankfully she doesn’t seem to notice this problem–she’s not itchy or uncomfortable.

With my vet’s blessing, I’ve been using chlorhex shampoo for almost 5 years to prevent and treat her outbreaks. 2019 has been the worst year, and her skin was in a breakout/healing cycle for over 4 months.

So I found the highest % of chlorhex available–and 4% is it: this shampoo. This shampoo is great. It definitely works to prevent and treat my dog’s skin allergy. I squeeze some into a hair-dye bottle with a pointed tip, which allows me to better control the flow/amount of shampoo plus get the shampoo under her fur and on her skin more efficiently than the shampoo bottle’s wide-mouth opening.

Plus I add a little water to dilute the thick shampoo so that it flows and spreads on the fur/skin easier. I apply it generously and rub vigorously with my fingertips. This shampoo lathers well (not all chlorhex shampoos do), which helps to spread the shampoo and also helps me keep track of which body parts I’ve already shampooed.

It has a slight, pleasant, clean scent–no heavy perfume or medicinal smell. I lather and let the shampoo sit on her skin for approx 10 minutes while I clean her ears and teeth. I also use a 4% chlorhex spray to spot-treat the individual pimples when she has them (between baths), and also on a chronic, scaly, bald spot on her tail.

Whenever I hear about a dog having skin allergies, I recommend chlorhex shampoo/spray. It has also helped us avoid oral steroids, which do work to combat the break-outs.

Our Yorkie has terrible allergies! We have literally spent thousands at the dermatologists. They had her on a very expensive shampoo that just wasn’t working. Our local vet suggested the TrizChlor shampoo since we were already using the TrizChlor spray.

Within a few days, we noticed a huge difference! For the first time in months, she doesn’t have to wear the “cone of shame” to prevent her from scratching her skin raw.

We have large dogs that had different type of skin issues that came on/off, lost chunks of fur, one looks like oily dandruff, the other one crusty and kept scratching, skin irritation, hot spots. We were so frustrated.

After spending a fortune on Vet bills, tried different shampoos, sulfur ointment, cleaning solutions, etc. that didn’t help, we found this shampoo while purchasing other product from PetMD. So glad we gave it a try.

We bathed them 2-3 times a week, as instructed on the label. Their skins and fur now are 90% better and soft. We bathe them once a week now. It smells nice when using it, after a day or two sometimes I could smell a hint of sulfur — I hugs them a lot ! — The smell doesn’t bother me.

I got this hoping it would help my Dog Mavi with his many allergies. However on the first use it went great then after his bath I was expecting this amazing smell like the reviews said. Trust me the smell was so horrible.

I had to rewash him three times with his other shampoo to just get the smell out. Don’t buy unless you like the smell of burnt hair and rust smell. It may have worked but I just couldn’t handle the smell.

My kitten who was only a few weeks old and was rejected by its mom had been flea bitten and was so tore up he was rotting alive. His skin was so itchy and inflamed he couldn’t lay down and was in horrible pain, his skin was producing puss and was losing hair all under his legs and pits,It smelled horrible.

He was going to die within that week in sure till i found this. It killed all his fleas and had a instant effect on his smell and some pain it got him through the next two days he was able to eat and lay and use the bathroom after one wash, after the second was he was running around acting like a kitten.

After the third wash all scabs and puss and irritation was gone. His fur grew back and never bad any issues again. I didn’t have the money at the time for a vet and no vet would accept me due to covid so I used this as a last ditch effort then and I’m glad I found this product and will always have it on hand.

Seems like a good shampoo. I like how it’s fragrance free. My only complaint was once I received my item I had only a month to use it before the product reached the expiration date. As you can imagine I wasn’t able to use all of the product so I wasted quite a bit of money considering this is a more high end shampoo.

In conclusion, the quality of the product was great. But I can’t justify its short shelf life accompanied with the price. So I wouldn’t buy it again.

I put a doggie diaper on my dog when she is in heat and her rear end gets an unpleasant order. This product lathers nicely but did not rid my dog of the odor after thoroughly washing the area twice. The shampoo has an odd smell as though it had passed its shelf life.

I did like the way my dog’s coat felt after using this. Just wish it did a better job of deodorizing.

This works well for my dog. She is a Pekinese and was itching a lot and her fur felt dirty and greasy. I thought it was a seasonal allergy as she’s had that before, but the vet noted it was seborreah and bathed her using this shampoo.

Then I bathed her weekly for 3 weeks and then every few weeks after that or as needed. It definitely helped the problem. It’s usually more expensive but Entirely Pets had a good price.
