I was nervous to try this out because I’ve been tricked by specialty foods before! But the Yo Mama’s Caesar Dressing it is my new favorite. I have a daughter who is vegetarian and she was so excited to see this when she came to dinner.
We all tried it on a green salad, and honestly if I didn’t know it was low carb/keto/dairy free I would never have guessed. It tastes really good – smooth and creamy. So when she asked, I let her take it home with her.
Now I will go get a replacement because I want some on hand too. I’m also thinking about ordering several varieties to put into a gift set for her. I received this salad dressing in the mail, and I’d like to comment on the shipment packaging.
Someone went to an effort to make sure that the bottle was securely wrapped and cushioned and in a large enough box with extra bubble wrap so that it arrived in one piece. I really appreciated that special touch and thoughtfulness.
I can easily recommend this to anyone looking for a tasty salad dressing, and especially to those who are looking for keto, low carb or dairy free.
Yo Mama’s balsamic and sesame dressings are an absolute delight. Both dressings pair very well with any type of salad. At a recent 4th of July party, we had a salad with some greens, fresh fruit, burrata, and almonds and served it with either dressing.
Needless to say, everyone really enjoyed it! The flavors are bold but not overwhelming, healthy yet tasty, and apparently work as a marinade as well. My favorite part is that they don’t feel heavy like a lot of other commercial salad dressings and the ingredients are simple and.

Primal Kitchen is absolutely amazing. I have been using their Buffalo sauce on everything since I first tasted it. It is going to be the same with this new Ranch Dressing. It has this wonderful consistency that is only slightly oily and wonderful to eat.
The Ranch flavor is very natural and not too strong. You can get a slight hint of avocado along with some subtle spices as well. It is a wonderful addition to any meal that somehow seems to always add the right amount of flavor in the right direction.
I have dipped vegetarian buffalo wings and vegetables in it while watching hockey, put it on vegetarian egg and chorizo soft tacos first thing in the morning, and used it as the finishing touch for every salad I have at night.
It is perfect for every food and every time of day. Primal Kitchen understands flavor more than any other company in the market including the billion dollar giants.
This Caesar dressing lacked taste. Even though there is supposed to be roasted garlic, garlic powder and rosemary extract I couldn’t even taste any of it. It was also a little more tart than I would have expected or liked it to be with the apple cider and distilled vinegars present.
It really didn’t taste like a Caesar dressing at all. Couldn’t taste the black pepper either. There is a taste that carries through while you are eating it but I couldn’t put my finger on what it was exactly, it just tasted cardboard like.
Personally I wouldn’t buy this for all the above reasons and the price at $10 a bottle for only 235 ml is also a turn off. It’s also missing any kind of cheese like the obvious parmesan or Romano that I would have expected to be one of the ingredients.
I don’t buy much (air quotes) organic sauces but if they’re all like this one was, I don’t think I’d buy any again. Would definitely not recommend this to anyone as almost everyone I know are foodies like me.
As far as organic goes, a home made dressing would beat this hands down using all natural ingredients like egg yolk and lemon juice. Just an end note, I do not have a cold and there is nothing wrong with my tasting or smelling.
I actually smelled it from the bottle as well and it’s exactly the way I described it in its smell as well. It actually smelled like a bland ranch dressing. Come to think of it, that’s the best way to put how it tastes because there was no other flavors.
The only thing positive that I could say about this product, is that the texture is just right.
I really thought I was going to like this. I normally like Primal Kitchen mayo’s and I thought I was going to like the Vegan Ranch Dressing. It looked great from the outside when it was unopened. When I opened it up, the color wasn’t that appetizing to me, it was an off yellow color and not white like normal Ranch Dressings.
I pushed on through with the taste despite being put ogg by the color, it did NOT taste like Ranch. I don’t even know what it’s trying to be. It’s an okay dip if your not thinking its Ranch. While it is okay as a dip and not a dressing, I didn’t particialry enjoy the consistincy of it.
I kept shaking it to get back to it “original” state. It kept thicking up- if thats the correct term, and the top kept getting oil after long periods of stasis. I won’t be buying this again.
Primal Vinaigrette With Avocado Oil (Gluten-Free, Paleo, Staples). The last step of making your saladthe dressingis hands down the most important part. Dress your salad in sweet-and-tangy Greek vinaigrette from Mark Sisson’s Primal Kitchen.
Made with avocado and oregano oils, it’s Paleo-approved, dairy-free, and contains no sugar, soy, or canola. Tastes great on salads or as a flavorful marinade for meats and vegetables. Environmentally friendly: Recyclable.
Jazz up your salads and dips with this special Ranch Vinaigrette. It is made with a unique blend of ingredients and contains no sugar. This organic vinaigrette delivers the full-bodied taste and texture that you expect from a ranch dressing – but with a healthier twist.
It is made with agave nectar, is certified gluten-free and is vegan. It contains only 100 calories per serving, which makes it ideal for different diets, even low-calorie ones. This vinaigrette dressing comes in an 8 fl oz bottle.
Hated the taste. Hated the texture. Organic Ville ranch dressing is very tangy. Vinegar like. Almost like a sweet tart tangy. Definitely will make your lips pucker. If I wanted a balsamic vinaigrette, then I would have bought that flavor.
Being that I was expecting a full flavor ranch my expectations were let down. I would probably appreciate the taste a little more if they advertised the flavor as a different profile. I would definitely not say it is ranch.
Okay. Enough about the taste and flavor. I also did not like how very thin the dressing was. Once again, in my opinion, it’s ranch. Ranch to me is supposed to be creamy, able to coat things nicely. As long as you use the proper measurement then the calories, fat content, or whatever people count now a days will not be that much affected with a regular bottle of ranch.
I’m not too sure on why they came out with the organic ville line of products. But I can also guarantee that I will not be trying any other flavors based on my experience with ranch. The only pro side is that it claims to be healthier.
Okay, I get it, dairy free, gluten-free. If it doesn’t taste good then what’s the point.
This dressing has no french dressing flavor whatsoever. It tastes solely like strong vinegar. I even tried mixing and mixing it to no avail. I am very disappointed as Organicville products are usually extrodiarnyly good.
But not this product and I will not buy this one again.
For diabetics this product only has 1gram of carbohydrate per serving. Also, we have been so satisfied with Vitacost company. We like that they are on the east coast as are we, so delivery is less complicated.
But they are fast and efficient in delivery. Have not had a problem and have made several purchases over the past several years. We are very happy to have found this site. They have many healthy products that we like to purchase.
Finally, a creamy and tangy ranch dressing that’s entirely dairy-free and vegan! Use on salad, as a dip, in sandwiches, or even on pizza for traditional ranch flavor with omega-3 fatty acid-rich hemp and flaxseed oils.
I didn’t like this sauce at all. I wanted to find out the hype Americans make this sauce out to be. I was almost repulsed it was that bad. There was such a strong onion or garlic powder taste, it went straight in the bin.
But I love that I was able to buy this product to experience what it’s like. It’s just a shame it went to waste.
My favorite vegan ranch! Prior to going vegan, I poured ranch on EVERYTHING. From pizza to carrots to chicken strips and salad, I would load it with ranch. This stuff definitely cannot be beat. It’s not too expensive and it is absolutely delicious and easy tj fun! #vegan #followyourheart #ranchdressing.
as someone who is dairy free, this is the best ranch i have found thus far! it is extremely allergy friendly and to me, tastes just like regular ranch! my boyfriend who has a normal diet will occasionally eat this one instead of his typical Hidden Valley.

Absolutely terrible! This is the worst dressing I have ever had. It may be sugar free but it is unforgivably sweet. I didn’t read the label and see that it has sucralose added to it when I bought it.
I have no idea what kind of monster thinks that anyone would want to eat this on their healthy salad. It is more sweet than most candies. It is disgusting. I don’t know what award it won but the contest must have been rigged.

Yes! Yes! Yes! So nice to see mainstream brands offering plant-based options. As a vegan I’ve been missing ranch dressing and this is yummy if you can handle the heat. It made my nose run, as does most spicy food.
It is made with habanero and packs a punch! For reference, the jalapeno rates between 2,500–8,000 Scoville Heat Units. In contrast, the habanero scores 100,000–350,000 Scoville Heat Units ranking it as extremely hot.
Also, the plant-based certification means 100% free from animal ingredients. I had to double check as to why it wasn’t labeled vegan and apparently “plant-based” is intended to reach a broader group of consumers.
Anyways, back to dipping my vegan nuggets in this spicy dressing! Mmm.
As many reviews you’ll see here, I too got a sample of Hidden Valley’s Plant Powered Ranch from PINCHme. In return for the sample, I promised to leave an honest review, whether good or bad. With that said, know that I am very much a ranch lover and usually partial to Hidden Valley Ranch (Original, Buttermilk, and so on…as I’m an equal ranch opportunist).
On the other hand, I can also be snobby when my ranch dressing is changed to have additional and equally powerful flavors like Zesty Ranch Dressing (liquid) or buffalo ranch. I get even more picky when the texture/consistency is the slightest bit different from what I would consider “the norm”, like “light/lite ranch.
” So when I was sent a plant based ranch dressing, of which I don’t mind plant based food/product and even buy them (but would NEVER do so in regards to ranch dressing—you simply don’t mess with things that already work to perfection), I will say that I didn’t have high hopes at all.
I was even pretty adamant that Hidden Valley had let me down (sorry, Hidden Valley). HOWEVER, even with all my reservations and certainties of disgust, I was truly and sincerely happily surprised! I couldn’t taste a real texture difference; also, while I could tell a very faint flavor variation, it was honestly because I was searching for it.
My family couldn’t and didn’t tell a difference. All in all, in my honest review, this is really great quality and tasting plant based dressing. Kudos, Hidden Valley!.
Ranch is the only remaining item I haven’t found a satisfactory replacement for in my several year long journey transitioning to a plant-exclusive diet. I was thrilled to see this product hit the market, but the taste did not live up to my expectations.
The liquid consistency was pretty close to where it should be to mimic traditional ranch (perhaps needs to be slightly less thick), but the overall issue was that it was definitely lacking in taste. It just felt very bland.
I know that dairy milk and eggs are not the missing ingredient that would have solved this taste shortfall. Just seemed like they went super light on the garlic/onion powder and other seasonings that gives ranch it’s flavor.
Very hopeful that this recipe will be refined further so that I can be a lifelong customer!.

My mom loves this ranch, she states it taste just like regular ranch and can’t tell the difference. She has to switch to vegan ranch because she developed an egg allergy so this is a life saver for her.
Me personally, I only like fast food packet ranch 😂 so I’m not a fan of any store brand ranch.

Great dressing!! Regarding angry Comments pulling out the pitch forks, saying it’s not dairy free because it contains eggs. Here’s a real mind blower to those who aren’t educated on what “dairy” means.
Eggs are not a dairy product. The definition of dairy includes foods produced from the milk of mammals, such IE: cows and goats. Basically, it refers to milk and any food products made from milk, including cheese, cream, butter, and yogurt.
Eggs are laid by birds, such as hens, ducks, and quail. Chickens are birds, not mammals.
First tried it in Sam’s Club salad. Will not have any other Caesar dressing but Tessemae’s. I’ve tried their other dressings and they are so creamy, rich, and good. Very VERY pleased. Wish it was carried in my local grocery store.
When I first encountered this out of this world Ranch, I bought all 3 available, habanero, classic, and avocado! I have tried endless vegan ranch dressings, even making it from scratch, but egg is the must have ingredient to make it Devine.
Tessemaes, this is an impeccable ranch that you all have down to a science! I’m 40 and this is the best Ranch of my lifetime! Thank you so much, one love ❤️!.
USDA Organic. VegeCert: Certified vegan. Dairy-free. Egg-free. Certified by Ecocert Canada. Non GMO. Plant-based. Put good on good. Smooth and savory, this organic, plant-based dressing and marinade will take your tastebuds down south with just the right balance of smokiness and just a touch of heat! Perfect for salads, wraps or even as a dip for some sweet potato fries! Please recycle.
Sadly this flavor was all wrong! We think it didn’t survive the shipping process since all of the bottles were not cold when it was delivered. Or this particular batch was just not a winner, it popped oddly when opened for the first time and there was this strange fizzy sour taste to it.
Totally bummed, but the few others we’ve used have been delicious so far :).
I have enjoyed this one the most so far. It is a different and fun colour and it has great flavour as well. There is two thing that I would change if anything, which would be to add more tahini and garlic.
It would make it taste more authentic and it would thicken the consistency because it is a little too watered down.
I am so pleasantly surprised by the taste! I am 58 and just figured out I am gluten intolerant. This has probably plagued me unknowingly for years so shopping gluten free is new to me. I’m happy to find the selection at Mother Raw and will definitely be buying more.
Our Organic Vegan Caesar is creamy, thick, and rich with garlic and pepper notes. Its got all the flavor of a traditional Caesar, with none of the eggs, dairy, or anchovies and its certified organic!
Before going vegan a couple years ago Caesar salad was my favorite. I have not been able to find a good duplicate of Caesar dressing. This is amazing! I love the taste and so do my kids. It makes a great salad or to dip veggies in.
Yum! This dressing makes the best vegan Caesar salads. It is so good and one of the few things that is better than doing it from scratch. Omni boyfriend loves it too.
Love this dressing! Follow your heart dressings tend to be a bit thicker than most so I do sometimes water them down a little but that’s just a personal preference. I have a hard time finding this dressing but it’s much better than any of the daiya ones.
I was always a diehard fan of the Just dressings but since I can no longer find them on shelves this has become my go to and I bumped it up to 5 stars.
No eggs or dairy here. Our Ranch dressing is loaded with only the plant stuff like herbs, spices and cold-pressed EVOO. Egg-free. Dairy-free. Worry-free. Our plant-based Ranch dressing is organic and only has room for herbs, minced onion, garlic, cracked black pepper, and loads of flavor.
Go ahead, pour good on good and feel great about it.
I was excited to try these all natural dressings. I bought 2. They were both disappointing. Added no flavor to my salad and doesn’t taste like Caesar dressing at all. These dressing are expensive. I thought I’d save time by not making my own dressing.
Not with these, I would’ve been better off making my own dressing. I wasted $10 bucks today. The people who wrote positive reviews must work for the company or they’re those people that drink blended grass and think it tastes great.
We have tried many high quality bottled dressings, and this is by far the best one. No gums!!! Very Light! Excellent flavor! It really does tasted like homemade dressing. Thanks for providing a superior product!.
Never thought I’d go out of my way to write a review for salad dressing but this is so good. It has a good amount of creaminess without being heavy and tastes good on almost every salad. The consistency is really good as well—it’s thin enough to fully coat my large salads with one tbsp on dressing but thick enough that it sticks well to my greens without sinking to the bottom of the bowl.
I bought this on a whim with no intention of repurchasing due to the price tag, but it’s become enough of a staple for me to more than justify the price tag.
There are a few different ways to make a dairy free salad dressing. One way is to use a store-bought dairy free salad dressing, such as ranch or vinaigrette. Another way is to make your own dairy free salad dressing at home.
To make your own dairy free salad dressing, you will need:
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup vinegar (white or apple cider vinegar)
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
Simply whisk all of the ingredients together in a bowl until they are well combined. You can adjust the amount of each ingredient to suit your taste. This dressing will keep in the fridge for up to a week.
When it comes to choosing a dairy free salad dressing, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, you want to make sure that the dressing you choose is actually dairy free. Many store-bought dressings contain milk or other dairy products, so be sure to read the label carefully.
Secondly, you’ll want to consider the flavor of the dressing. Dairy free salad dressings can be made with a variety of different oils, vinegars, and other ingredients, so you’ll want to choose one that you think will taste good on your salad.
Finally, you’ll want to consider the texture of the dressing. Some dairy free salad dressings can be quite thick and creamy, while others are more like a vinaigrette and are thinner in consistency. Again, it’s a matter of personal preference.
So, there you have it! A few things to keep in mind when choosing a dairy free salad dressing. With a little bit of trial and error, you’ll be sure to find one that you love.
