My Dad came for a visit and he used my Husband’s Woody shampoo one morning. My Dad is a Marine and has used regular old soap his whole life, so his statement that came up was astounding to us. “Where does ____ get his shampoo, I love it?!” I was blown away and ordered some immediately.

I purchased Woody’s for men daily shampoo from my barber the last time I got a fresh new cut. I really like how clean ,my hair feels after I use this shampoo. It has lasted me a long time so it’s a great deal.

I used to work at a professional beauty supply and this shampoo was so popular for stylists with Male clientele! It smells amazing and cleanses the hair and scalp so well and it’s a very reasonable price ! My brother and fiance have used it and like it as well, would definitely buy it again!.

I have used Redken for 30 years. it seems like no matter which formula I like, they discontinue it. I used to use Go Clean and I liked it. When L’OREAL bought the brand, the quality suffered. Redken Brews Daily was not good and I thought all hope was lost.

Then I tried the Extra Clean and lived it for years. Now it’s discontinued and they recommend this scented water. It even says it’s lightweight which is fine if you have normal hair and work in an office.

But if you exercise or have even slightly oily hair, this is not for you!.

This is my most favorite shampoo. It moisturizes, lathers and softens my hair like no other. I use it three times a week to maintain cleanliness and balance. It’s quite thick so you just need a small amount and the product will last quite a long time.

The mint fragrance is very light which I like very much. I like this better that the other Redkin shampoos or other popular hair products such as Pureology, Aveeda or Matrix. I haven’t noticed any negative effects of this in my color treated hair while using this shampoo.

Very happy with this nourishing cleanser. This is highly recommended if you are looking for a shampoo to retain moisture in your hair.

Very nice shampoo. The scent is nice and sure it does what it needs to no but where it really shines is the lather, this not one of those phosphate free shampoos where you feel like you are washing your hair with pure water.

The other is the tingling sensation that your scalp experiences. Plus the butter looks like bottle of beer, can’t go wrong with that!.

This product is nice it makes his hair soft and it cleans well. He says its definitely cooling, makes his scalp kinda tingle but in a good way. Contains Natural ingredients so thats a plus. It’s on the expensive side so they have to remember to be a little more conservative with it.

But over all its a good buy. Apparently it burns like fire if you get it I’m your eyes tho, I assume the tea tree oil is what makes it so intense.

What a great product, eliminates dandruff and smells amazing, plus it’s natural so you can read the label of contents it’s made of, and actually understand it, unlike some other brands which you need to pull out your chemistry book for.

All in all great product, there’s 4 scents as of this review, I’d recommend fresh falls and pine tar because those smell amazing in my opinion, and on top of that the scent stays in my hair which I really enjoy.

I am 54 year old man who is big fan of Jack Black products for last 10+ years. I tried this shampoo because of it says ‘thickening’ shampoo. I used it for 2 months, but actually I lose more hair than before.

So, I stopped and looking for other anti-hair loss shampoo. Anti-hair loss is a huge butter market as you know. How can you make this kind of worst product with Jack Black brand on ??? This is my first disappointment of your product.

During lockdown my husband and I tried hair care products together (more like I tried them on him) because we both have fine thin hair. The Jack Black is good for fine hair because it gives his body – he grew it out to his chin and he’s got big curls at the ends.

Looks more full as opposed to lank. When he uses the conditioner with it – it’s not as fluffy but either way it works for him so much so I bought the same for his twin brother. It didn’t work for me, too tangly, but I have long hair.

I would prefer a little more moisture. On the odd occasion I’ll use it if I’m not styling my hair.

Love JB products, but i don’t think this one’s meant for hair that’s already thick, so that’s a mistake on my part. i’d recommend on thinner hair types. my hair is thick and it actually caused my hair to shed more than normal, so i definitely wouldn’t recommend this for thicker hair types.

Blackwood for Men moisturizing shampoo is pretty good stuff. My favorite girl likes the scent, even though she is sensitive to perfume odors. I like the way the shampoo feels on my hair, what of it remains.

The shampoo dispenser is also good, with good flow and clean after dispensing. Overall, I find Blackwood for Men moisturizing shampoo to be a good product. My best girl has allergies to many things, including being sensitive to strong perfumes.

The scent added to this shampoo is a masculine musky smell. As the scent wares throughout the day, it weakens but does not totally disappear. By the end of the day, the shampoo smell is very light and pleasing.

This shampoo, at first blush, is a very strong smelling shampoo, but it tames down as time progresses and becomes very palatable quickly. As the shampoo dispenses, it is a gel. The dispenser is a pump which, if not watched, can dispense too much shampoo.

On my initial use, I found the pump dispenses much-too-much shampoo for my use. After a few uses, I found a sweet spot to get the right amount of shampoo for my purposes. Once it dispenses, the shampoo leaves the bottle cleanly, with a little residue at the opening.

The following day, the residue appears to have either dripped or dried from the opening. Overall, it is a clean dispenser and easy to become used to. I am happy with the quality of the Blackwood moisturizing shampoo.

As a daily shampoo user, I find it to have a pleasant masculine smell which my best lady doesn’t object to. I also find it to be decent to my bathroom without making a mess. My only complaint is that the shampoo leaves a slight filmy residue behind.

I wanted to write a review on this product and express my sheer disappointment in its performance. By far though, this is the worst Conditioner I’ve ever used! I have it two stars because yes my hair is slightly softer than if I didn’t use conditioner at all, but this product doesn’t soften or condition my hair anywhere near as good as other products I have used including suave, dove, and others.

This conditioner is quite runny and not very thick like a typical conditioner is, and I blame this for why it doesn’t work. I feel like whatever this is made out of just isn’t quite as good as a typical conditioner is.

My hair is all weird on the ends and just isn’t soft like I desired. Because of this, I won’t be continuing to purchase this product anymore. I will buy a different brand as I know how it will effect my hair.

I will include a 2 day picture and a 2week picture for comparison. The 2 day picture is the one in which my hair isn’t curly. The 2 week picture my hair is longer and curlier now, but it isn’t the desired softness or look I was hoping for compared to other brands if conditioner.

I have been losing hair and it’s starting to thin so this shampoo caught my eye. It has a very clean and soothing scent and leaves your scalp feeling fresh (that might be the licorice root and aloe vera).

It’s paraben & gluten-free and has no phthalates, triclosan, or dyes that might be harmful for people with shining hair. I’ve only used it for less than 2 weeks so I can’t tell if it’s really effective yet but I’ve notice less hair in the catch drain after every shower.

It uses ingredients known to increase scalp circulation like ginseng root and swertia. The bottle feels premium, very simple in design yet practical because you can see how much product is still available.

The pump is well made and lets you easily control how much product you need. The shampoo is more runny than other shampoos with lots of chemicals but it still can lather up nicely. Worth trying if you are in similar situation to I am with thinking hair.

The Citrus Rush shampoo is a three in one formula: shampoo, bodyweight, and hair conditioner. Being that men don’t exactly want to be bothered by as many products as us women, I think this makes the product more convenient.

I bought bottles of this for my boyfriend and my father as they were hoping to try it. The basic consensus is the product has an engergizing/refreshing citrus scent that is not overpowering. It “awakens” you, according to my boyfriend in a sense.

The product as a shampoo/conditioner lathers well, rinses well, and leaves your hair feeling manageable and clean. No residue and conditions well. As a body wash, it gives a creamy, rich lather that gently yet effectively cleanses the body and skin, safe enough even for sensitive skin.

Suave is a very budget friendly brand but the product itself is not low quality at all imo. It’s not my first pick that grab for or that I buy first but if it’s the only thing to grab from my shower shelf then cool.

This product comes in a hefty size. Packaging is sleek and standard for a men’s branded product. Nothing too eye catching or luxurious about it, at least in my perspective. The scent is a more softer and sweeter men’s style fragrance than most men’s marketed products.

After using this product for two weeks (one week strictly used for hair, the other for body) and I’d say this is a solid product for the value. The amount of product is very generous, but understandable since it’s a 3-in-1 product.

I would purchase this product for travel since it cuts down on the numerous travel bottles of product I’d need to pack and hope doesn’t spill in my luggage (haha). As a cis male, I wasn’t stunned or amazed by the product, but I wasn’t disappointed.

I’ve been using American Crew for over 15 years, but the formula has now changed. This is NOT the same minty shampoo/conditioner you bought last time. This shampoo unfortunately smells like lemon pledge cleaning spray and leaves my hair feeling completely stripped.

The conditioner smells like orange tang powder, but is borderline pleasant. The bottle of shampoo I received was only a quarter full, and the box was in perfect condition so I know it didn’t leak during shipping.

They either have a QA problem, or a returned bottle made it back into the supply to be shipped out again which is an even bigger problem. I’ve reached out to Customer Support multiple times with no reply.

I haven’t used this product in a long time. I do remember it very clearly. I bought this at one of the discounted or liquidated stores. If I remember right it was either t. j. Maxx or Burlington. It is very Vivid in my imagination that I was trying to do everything to get rid of it.

I know it stayed in my downstairs bathroom with a little bit left in the bottle. I hated the residue that it left on my hair and the lack of my hair feeling clean after using this. My ex-husband was very bad about using the last of a product once it got down to the bottom of it.

It sat in his shower downstairs until one day I used the last of it. I always thought it was a product for men and that was a reason that I never bought it again. I thought maybe it was fine just for men and that’s why I didn’t work for me.

Unfortunately they changed the formula, and it’s bad. It doesn’t smell as good, it doesn’t keep my hair as clean as it used to. Don’t think it’s the same shampoo, This one is now called Daily fortifying Shampoo, and the previous formula was “Daily Protein Shampoo”.

For me, two completely different products. Men don’t have a lot of choices as compared to women, and by changing formula I’m now stuck with 3 x 476 ml bottles of unsatisfying shampoo and in search of a new shampoo.

The smell of this shampoo is fresh and clean. The pump is so nice and easy to use. The refreshing clean feeling of my hair is FANtasic. My husband also really likes this – now we just have the one shampoo.

I’ve always liked these particular shampoo and conditioner because they smell amazing, but I’ve recently been replacing all products in my life with only cruelty free ones. I bought these after my current ones ran out kind of without thinking, but I was sad to learn that Bed Head is NOT CRUELTY FREE so I returned both.

Please be aware this seller allows returns but they make you pay for it. $3. 25 in my case, which I paid due to the principle behind my decision to return. +2 stars because the product is nice -2 stars because it’s not cruelty free -1 star for the seller being outside Home Essentials Direct’s return program.

Its perfect for my boyfriends long, fine hair. The shampoo leaves it silky soft and clean! No dry, brittle locks, or gross residue! It also has a great fresh scent. A little goes a long way, so this tube should last a while.

Now I purchased this because I use the mens bed head molding paste which is great and smells really good. So I saw this shampoo and purchased it. Saw it said daily shampoo. when I used it I noticed my face started to have a slight burning sensation and also my scalp.

Then I saw it has menthol in it. So my fault for not seeing that. That’s my only complaint because that sensation is not what I want on my face nor my scalp.

Hello to whom this email may concern I just recently purchased multiple items from your respective company recently and one of those products notably was the just recently released Detox shampoo. I’m so exceedingly impressed with it that it begged the question as to if American Crew was entertaining the idea of possibly creating a line of bar soaps with that same lather intensive formula and scent profile as the Detox shampoo.

Possibly creating 3 distinct bars of soap being 1: Exfoliating 2: Clarifying 3: Moisturizing. Since I’m a professed bar soap guy as opposed to body wash I believe that I as well as many others would definitely be keen on anxiously purchasing high quality bar soaps from American Crew.

As far as shampoo and hair products are concerned I was wondering if you would be potentially debuting a line of hair growth products regimen in the same vein as Nioxin for those suffering from hair loss maybe using the new natural line American Crew just introduced with the Detox shampoo segment maybe even creating an all encompassing shampoo, conditioner, and serum spray or serum topical gel.

Lastly I was curious to see if American Crew was thinking about bringing to the masses a large economy size body lotion with the same scent as the Detox shampoo and maybe even a men’s antiperspirant/deodorant with the same citrus mint scent.

Again this is simply an inquiry about a possible future development with these stated products in mind because I’m sure that I’m not the only one out there who would be thrilled at the prospect of purchasing these potential items from American Crew.

Premise: I am not sure why it is so hard to find a good shampoo for oily hair. There used to be many competitive options years back like Herbal Essence shampoo for oily hair. Overall experience: I opened the beautiful bottle of Shampoo.

The shampoo when I used it the first time had a nice pancake texture and a soft smell of rotten cabbage. It reminded me of the smell my garbage can has when I open it to put new garbage in. It definitely has that putrid soft lingering smell.

Also does not lather up very well. I noticed that there was an intermittent texture of sand in the shampoo that occurred every time I used it. If you purchase this product you will also need to also purchase a good hair conditioner to go with it.

There is no lemon, or musk scent to cover the other permeating oder. Pros On the positive side it does clean my oily hair. I used it for a week hoping it would grow on me. I realized though after a week I would not be able to stand using it until it finally ran out.

I returned it and bought another product from a competing vendor. Bottom line, to be acceptable to me it has to smell good or not smell at all (not have a bad smell). It also must work to wash my oily hair.

Based on my experience not recommended.

It seemed to remove the product and any oil from my hair well and when I washed my hair a few days later it seemed to be cleaner than it normally is. I’ll probably use a dry shampoo on the 2 day after wash and then this product a few days later.

Based on that, and on other reviews, I decided to give it a try. Well, after a few weeks of using, I can definitively say that the claims of not overstripping my hair are false. Using this makes my hair feel like a rats nest.

I tend to use a fair amount of product, and this shampoo gets it all out, which is good, but it leaves my hair with that awful crunchy feeling, which I hate. I was also quite disappointed to discover that this shampoo has more chemicals than industrial grade cleaning products, as well as sulfates and parabens.

Tried this shampoo and it is just OK. Can not say anything extremely good about it, it cleans the hair but i had some flakes and they never went away. it is almost scentless, there is barely noticeable scent that is hard to describe, but nothing bad.

Bottle lasts for a very long time (over 9 month on short hair) but i cant wait for it to end so i can try something that would suit me better.

For the longest i have been having issues with build up and res pimple like marks on my head. Been using this shampoo for about a year now and ever since then build up and pimples have subsided. This product is great for an everyday shampoo and i use it twice a day.

I bought this having tried the other shampoo in the Men-U range and I’m equally impressed. First of all you really don’t need much, it lathers very well and can cope with medium length hair easily. In addition it manages to get through the pomade that I use daily, leaving my hair squeaky clean.

The other thing to know it that it has a great fragrance, really fresh. Yes it’s expensive but it will last.

The men-u range is one of the best men’s hair & skin care ranges for instant results, practicality of use and value for money in my opinion. The Leave-In conditioner in particular was one of my favourite products in the range.

Unfortunately, not so any longer, not since they changed the formula (which they can only have done in the last couple of months, there’s also been a slight re-design of the graphics). It delivers as well as ever in terms of adding glossiness, giving the hair a smoother texture and maintaining a preferred style (on top of the intended aim of conditioning your hair), but the new fragrance is appalling- to me it reeks of lavender, which is totally inappropriate for a men’s hair product if that is in fact the new ingredient.

The new fragrance derivative is not specified on the packaging, but this would be my guess. Whatever it is, it’s a departure from the minimal, inoffensive, cleanly scent that characterises most other products in the range.

I’d still buy the product, because it still goes a heck of a long way and the results are undeniable, but please, please, PLEASE restore the original scent!.

I was quite excited to try this shampoo as I was pleased by the men-ü Daily Refresh Shampoo. Advertise it as ‘healthy’ and I cannot wait to try it. Still, I was so disappointed. It dried my skin and made it flaky.

I gave it a try a couple of times hoping that it will start working better but it didn’t. Although the list of ingredients looks quite friendly – lacking the disputed Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, it actually has TEA-Lauryl Sulfate which is considered even worse.

For me this was a complete waste of money.

I was shown these products by my barber which I have been using for a few months now. I love the fragrance of them and they leave my beard and hair feeling soft and looking awesome. I would recommend these products to everyone.
