Nice pair. Have only used them about 3 times. Im not sure how they comfortable they would be in 100 mile or more rides. but for 60 miles they held up. I hope the padding doesnt flatten or that the shorts dont break.

For a starter pair they are good. The price is great. I recommend buying at least 2 in case one breaks down. The sizing is dead on.

i use these for everything from painting to gluing, etc. I am so glad I ordered the large set because I use them all alot – get the one with the two black holders and you will be glad you did!

What a difference these biking underwear make, even for short distance. I got them for long treks but they’re so comfortable I slip them on even for short errands. I like the way they fit, and all the comfort of being perched on a bike saddle is gone!.

For years I had been riding with extra fabric at the knees before finding these shorts. Thank you Giordana for a perfect solution for shorter cyclists. Please, please, please don’t ever stop making these.

On to my review: First of all the fit is absolutely perfect and these are maybe the most comfortable bibs I have ever owned. The elastic/grip area of the leg fits perfectly where it should. For my weight and height.

Large was absolutely perfect. They are light and I forget that I am even wearing them. I have ridden all day in these and not even thought about them. This is the most comfortable chamois I have ever had.

Compression is just right and the thickness works well in hot Texas summers and in the Spring as well. I am used to buying much less expensive cycling clothing and was concerned about longevity given the cost, but these have held up perfectly and I will head into my third season with them this Spring.

I ride 3-5 times a week. I followed the simple care directions and they remain like new. The elastic has held and all of the seams are fine and the chamois is in great condition. I highly recommend these for shorter riders and I do hope that Giordana never stops making them and never changes them.

They are perfect!.

Giordana is definitely my favorite brand of bib shorts out there. They just have the best chamois there is. Super comfortable and feels the best on long distance rides, especially for a bigger and heavier guy.

I have had the FR-C Pro bibs, the Silverline bibs, some of the thermal and 3/4 knickers, and these Moda Vero Pro bibs are just as good or better than the FR-C Pros. And a heck of a lot less expensive too! Great fit, great material, and comfortable while being supportive and giving you that extra “umphm” when you’re putting the power down.

I love the piping in the front as I feel they won’t stretch out in front in the stomach area like the FR-C’s do after you’ve had them for awhile. The straps are wide and comfotable also. Overall, my “go to” bibs, especially for hard and longer rides.

Simply the best in support and comfort!.

So, I left a review of these bibs where I chose the S bibs and after a ride realized I should have gone with the XS. Then I received an email from Giordana offering a discount to get the XS. That is some fantastic customer service! As for the bibs, they are form fitting in a good, supportive way.

The straps are wide, stretchy, and comfortable. The wide leg band is my least favorite feature but I also have no complaints; it stays in place and does not sausage my thighs. I love the color options because plain black bibs can be, well, plain.

I paired the gray bibs with the purple FRC jersey and it looks sharp.

I must say I am very pleased with this cycling pant. I saw no fitting issues with the XL pant I purchased. Really like the stair stepping sit pad in the pants and also how the thinner pad is a lot wider than my pants in the past.

It’s been several years of finding a good pant to fit this larger body. The non-draw string is not an issue with me as for others that have reviewed this pant. Also, I am pleased that the company, Aero Tech is regional to where I live and the merchandise is made in USA.

The only negative I found is I was expecting the pants to made of heavier material being an 8 panel pant. I have waited to give my review because I wanted to see how these cycling pants held up after a washing and they are fine, all intact! So, in closing I have plans in the near future to purchase another 2 pairs and hope to get a few good years of riding out of them.

The sell price is great for an eight panel riding shorts. They fit nicely, look good, and fell confortable. I’ve ridden two 20 mile rides and seem to have a little problem. It is almost like the padding should have been moved to the back about half an inch.

The rear part of the padding just cover my sit bones so that is confortable. However, the front part of the crouch area has to much material bunched up that it cause chaffing. Moving the padding back a little would give more sitting support and less material up front.

Maybe a few more rides they will feel better.

I was excited to order these as long-distance padded shorts seem to be increasingly hard to find. I have several pair of the Elite padded shorts which I’ve washed and worn many times – but the Luna short is nowhere in the same league.

I am SO disappointed. The quality is not even close to previous purchases – shorts are very (very!) thin, and there’s virtually zero compression. Even if I sized down due to the overall low-quality fabric I do not think it would help, and I would not expect these to last long.

Previously have made several purchases – other products/padded shorts – but these are going back and I’m moving on to other cycling apparel vendors.

I am a happy long time user of the Louis Garneau Women’s Sprint Tri 7 Inch Shorts which have a very low profile chamois. I was hoping to try another pair of LGs that offer a more substantial chamois for rides longer than 20-30 miles.

The Neo Power shorts weren’t it for me. The chamois felt rock hard and bulky between my legs and would surely cause chafing if worn on a ride. The front of the chamois didn’t feel specific to the female anatomy and didn’t provide any cradling or comfort.

The chamois does have nice channels for ventilation. I wouldn’t swear off Louis garneau shorts altogether but any with this specific chamois just don’t work for me, although we are all built differently! These ran slightly smaller/tighter than my Sprint shorts btw.

I purchased a medium in both. I’m 5’9 130 lbs small waist, big hips, slightly large/muscular thighs. I’m usually a medium in cycling shorts. These felt good around my waist but small in the legs/thighs compared to my sprints which have less compression.

Pros: > Best chamois ever, when brand new > Love the compression, this combined with the chamois make these the best shorts I’ve ever tried > One of the only brands to offer women’s shorts in XXL > Really like the reflective detail at the bottom of the short’s legs > The little tiny pocket is great for chapstick or a gel Cons: > From my experience, the chamois delaminates internally (the glue seems to dissolve).

My workaround, when they’re brand new, is to throw in a few stiching tacks to prevent this from happening down the road (about 7-months of weekly use) > Unfortunately, the stitching, for me, also gives out at about the same time as the glue (about 7-months of weekly use); however, all you need to do is connect with their customer service to get a warranty replacement if it’s been less than a year and this happens – Fantastic customer service! > Garneau’s XXL is truly more like an XL, at least in this particular short.

Still, it’s the best larger short I’ve tried yet. > Wish the bib on this short were like the Men’s Garneau Neo Power Motion Bib. Women don’t need / want the bib to cinch in at the chest. All this does is make it visible at the top of your jersey.

Not flattering or necessary. A regular bib would make this great short even better.

Finally coming back to review these after having them over a year. This is my favorite chamois for mountain biking! The pad has perfect support where it’s needed and is thin and breathable everywhere it’s not.

I had tried several different brands in search of a waist band that didn’t dig into my stomach, and this one has the most comfortable design by far. The material is comfortable, breathable, and stays in place over long rides.

The legs don’t ride up at all, but also don’t leave elastic ring marks around my thighs after a long ride. They’ve stayed in great shape over a year of heavy use.

I bought this for my son for track. He was embarrassed to wear them. You’re better off buying a pack of the same brand underwear because there’s no difference in the thickness or material. At least you’d get several pair for the same price as this cost.

I went to the store and found some “baseball sliders” which were far superior in durability, thicker, came in white or black, had sleeve for cup insert and came in Nike or adidas. Both my sons loved them and use for track and soccer.

The Nike Pro Training Shorts are compression shorts that are meant to provide support during workouts. I personally bought my very first one two years ago, and since then I always wear these during my workouts and basketball games due to the high quality and support it provides.

My favorite part about this product is the support I get during physical activities. The fit felt a little tight at first, but I did realize that it has to be in order to provide support. Besides the support, the fabric of this product is also very good at keeping me cool as I sweat.

If I do sweat, it absorbs it very well, keeping me dry. It also just looks good in general, which is why I have purchased a total of seven different colors so far. After a few months of constant use, the waistline did seem to become less tight and the Nike logo slowly began to peel off.

Naturally, this happens to most products but I do wish that it was more durable. Overall, I definitely give this product a high rating and I will continue to use it during my basketball games and workout.

I highly recommend this version of the Nike Pro Training Shorts, but even the other versions are just as great.

As a golf course maintenance professional and avid golfer/runner, Nike Pro Cool products are a fundamental/essential part of my daily wardrobe. My work is extremely physically demanding, both quantitatively (walk 20+ miles daily walk-mowing tees/approaches/greens) and qualitatively (spending days digging trenches by hand trying to locate irrigation leaks).

I’m also exposed to the elements all day (which I love/hate). This is in addition to daily afterwork golf/runs. I wear the bottoms/tops daily as undergarments under my company issued Nike Dri-FIT polos and Carhartt khakis.

I wear the Cool garments for temps <80 and hypercool for temps>80. They provide tangible benefits over traditional cotton undergarments: less muscle fatigue, increased support, enhanced range of motion (without chafing), ventilation and wick sweat.

They essentially feel like a cool/comfortable second skin. I have never experienced less than superior quality/craftsmanship, as they have held up to severe daily abuse and numerous weekly washings (for months) without issue (unlike my UA gear).

I simply follow the wash/care instructions. For those unaccustomed to compression garments, they do feel tight at first. But they loosen up slightly/your body gets accustomed through wear. I find they fit true to size (I’m 5’11/155 and wear S).

They are thinner than traditional compression garments (which I prefer), so I take them on/off carefully as not to stress/rip the seams. My only wish is that the bottoms had a fly for individuals like me to use them as traditional underwear replacements.

I’m going to keep this short, no pun intended! Anyway, I’ve had a pair of these now for 3 seasons, and I haven’t had any of the issues that the one star reviews gave, I think they are a quality short.

None of the zippers have failed, they are easy to open and close, and I put stuff in my pockets too so I give the pockets reasonable stress and still haven’t failed. My shorts use a snap on for the waste and not a button, so not sure if the button thing that some have screamed about is a newer thing or an older thing vs my shorts, but a button can be sewn back on.

I obviously have had no issues with the stitching, the stitching still looks like it did when I got them new. I use them once a week, then wash them in handwash mode on my washing machine, the instructions say to line dry but I throw them in the dryer on the gentle cycle, except for the liner, the liner gets air dried.

Could be my body size but I found the shorts to run a tad large, which is adjustable with the side straps band thing. Not sure if the quality has slipped over the past 3 years since I bought mine in 2019, but I am completely happy with these shorts, and they’re good for at least another season and probably more.

While the padded liner that came with mine will probably need to be replaced at some time this next year or the year after, the short itself will continue to live on. A word about padded liners and how to wash them, padded liners will take on odors so you need to rid that odor when you wash them, the best way to do that is to use your regular laundry detergent and then add a cup of white vinegar to the wash, put the wash on soak mode on gentile or delicate or handwash cycle, so I wash all my liners together with nothing else in the load.

If the odor is persistent after that then do the same as above but add a cup of baking soda on top of it all.

I do lots of road/tour cycling (20 to 50 miles) Liner & shorts are comfortable, and love the pockets. Quality so far seems up to LLBean standards I like the looser fit outer short, but they are a touch long for my tastes.

Still worth it; although I really really like the LLBean comfort cycling shorts that has been discontinued twice as much. (Hint hint) Fit is as described & recommended; at least for how I like them to fit.

I am in my 50s, 6’, 180 lbs, and with a normal build. Mediums were too tight & large was just tight 4 stars because I like the LL bean comfort cycling shorts more.

I bought the first ZOIC mountain bike shorts in 1996. They were AWESOME. First shorts engineered for mountain biking. Durable, good fit, removable liner, position, size and angles of pockets. Elastic and Velcro waist to adjust to my changing size.

Still have Zoic sticker on my 1991 Cannondale Mt Bike. Used the originals for 25 years but this year needed larger waist. Searched the market and ZOIC is still innovator and best designed short. The new Ether has rad colors and various lengths.

Most important for me is waist is more adjustable. Fabric light, breathable, nice hand. Pocket tweaked a little but still where I love/need them. Crotch ventilated by material no zippers. Durable pocket zipper liners.

Improved fly zipper Velcro closure. Right length and width of leg to permit movement on and off the bike. COMFORTABLE & STYLISH These are the BEST made 👍.

I’ve recently begun using my indoor trainer a lot more in a bid to get in shape and stay cool in this summer heat. I noticed right away that my liner shorts weren’t doing enough and opted to try these as an alternative.

Focus points on these shorts: – Grippy elastic on the leg openings, quite tight while not being restrictive, you shouldn’t find movement there. – Longer than typical in the leg. Haven’t measured, but several inches longer than the average short or bibshort there.

Hits just above the knee for me and I do not have short legs. – Haven’t noticed them dragging down over time, though the front will roll if you’re carry anything out there. Not a big issue. – Chamois feels like a good value for money.

It’s not extraordinary, but neither is the price. It gave me the added comfort that I needed. Please note that cycling on a trainer vs in the real world puts much more strain on the behind, so I’m sure the experience is better outside of my garage.

Really happy and will probably get another pair eventually!.

Nice quality and features and fits me well. I’m 5’9″ 165 lb with a 33″ cycling inseam and find the large to be perfect, nicely snug without excessive compression. The straps are flat laser-cut fabric that I don’t feel at all when underway.

The inseam is fashionably long and have the right fit a few inches above knee. The chamois is seamless and has a good density and thickness. Fabric is a little heavier and tougher than many other bibs, which I like for abrasion and snag resistance and overall durability.

The side pockets are made of the same material rather than mesh as found on many other cargo bibs. I find mesh can snag and tear more easily. They also have a gusseted bottom for better fit when there are items in them.

I tried the Rapha bibs from REI and the large were way small. They fit my 5’6″ 130 lb wife well so she kept then. I then tried Rapha XL and they were still way too tight on me so I returned them. Too much compression and straps pulled on my shoulders.

Theses are terrific bibs. I’ve tried numerous bib brands over the decades, with Giordana FRC being my previous favorite – until they changed the cut several years ago. I’ve been on a quest to find a comfortable bib short since then, with no luck.

I have a muscular, athletic build and usually find women’s sizing too large in the waist and too tight in the quads. I tried the Pearl Izumi (non-pro) bibs and found them unsupportive with a pad that felt like I was wearing a diaper.

Not so with these bibs! The pad is thin, which I prefer, with just the right amount of comfort. The material is soft, but surprisingly supportive. The waist is high in the front, which adds support. The straps are soft, don’t dig in, and are long enough for my longish torso.

The legs are long and held in place with a silicon bead on a lazer cut edge. Really comfortable! The side pockets are a nice touch to hold a gel or chapstick. Rode a rugged 20 mile mtb in these bibs yesterday.

I wish I could afford another pair!.

I have a feeling these are going to become a staple in my dance wardrobe! These shorts are made of a shiny but strong material and look great with any leotard or top. I got them in black and wear them over tights or on their own and they’re super comfortable.

The V-front is very flattering. For sizing purposes, I’m 5’7′ about 125lb, waist 33, hips 37 and I ordered a large in these.

I know when I read a review I need more than, ‘these are awesome!’ so here it is:I read so many reviews before purchasing these, some said they were too big, some too small, most of them said that they were higher than the image.

In the end, I am a 5’4′ 120lb female hips 36 waist 26, I decided to go with a size medium. I gave it 5 stars because they’re exactly what I was looking for, but four stars for comfort and durability because of the nylon fabric used.

They arrived very quickly. When I tried them on, yes, the shorts have a higher waist than in the picture, but not dramatically– for me– they come up a little under my belly button. It’s actually very flatting because on some of my other shorts I have to pull them up over that bit of flab that occurs when one bends over.

The V doesn’t need to be folded down, more like 2′ and that’s not that long. The thighs may be a little tight for some. If you’re looking for a cotton short, don’t buy these. (refer to description)The length of the short around the legs isn’t as long as people have described– I have spanx from target that are longer, or the high-waist theatricals from DiscountDance that come to mid thigh– but when I bend over my butt isn’t hanging out (36′ hips)All of the things I was worried about turned out fine– I would suggest ordering at least 1 size up though.

After years of square ‘booty shorts’ that fit very few bodies well (y’all know what I mean. a room full of cheeks hanging out the backs or tummies over the tops) there are now TONS of options, for nearly any size and shape.

We’ve tried several – and these are absolutely the bomb. My daughter is 5’7′ and weighs around 120lbs. She dances lyrical, jazz, modern, ballet, hip hop, contemporary – around 15 hours a week total. Tall and lean, she is a teeny bit high-waisted and traditional shorts have never fit her well.

I bought these just to try last year. On reading the reviews, we got 2 pair of black shorts in size large. She abandoned an entire drawer full of other shorts and wore those two day in/day out the entire year!! they are absolutely wonderful.

The fit is very contemporary. Think ‘high-waisted lite’. Coming above the hip bone but still below the belly button. They are very flattering. Legs are not long enough to be awkward but long enough that all parts stay covered.

I’d say the legs fit more like the Nike compression shorts (made for runners) which a lot of girls also wear for dance. Overall they give a beautiful dance line. The fabric is also excellent. These are NICE shorts! As I said, we washed them over and over and over again.

There has been no fading, no loss of elasticity/stretch, no picks or other signs of wear. **I will say that I’ve just ordered two more pair – but this time got a medium. In fall, when we combine ballet, competition team technnique classes, choreography, AND school dance team – she tends to slim down even more.

The large shorts still fit ok – but at about 117lbs the medium will work better. My only complaint: they only come in two colors. I’d love to see these offered in chocolate, navy, or other colors!!!.

My wife and I each bought these for our bike rides. I never thought I would wear shorts with padding, but these have made me a fan! The comfort difference between riding with these and riding without these is very obvious.

We can ride comfortably for much longer when we wear these shorts vs. when we used to ride without them. The sizing for the men’s shorts seems to run a tad on the small side, so buy accordingly. I have a 29-30 inch waist, and I bought a medium, which fits perfectly.

I bought 2 identical pairs. I love they way they fit and feel. I am a tall woman and prefer the mens shorts for the length of the straddle. But I use a larger padded bike seat and there would not be enough padding for the narrow road bike seats.

The foam liner always rolls up or folds over in the wash in one pair, yet it has never happened in the other pair. I always soak & wash gentle cycle and hang dry so they last a long time.

Comfortable if a little long. Good padding, doesn’t bunch up and great for peloton! Material looks like it will last as well, just hang dry.

Almost perfect if the crotch area get a zipper or velcro underneath the waist snap button. You don’t want anything to hop in that area while you’re out in the elements, or when you are off the bike, you don’t want any accident less than decency when that crotch area got some free entry/exit.

:D. Overall, very awesome design especially the fact that it doesn’t have elastic waist band as those will lost elasticity over time. 28 is actually 30, tighten/loosen the strap as you go. (or grow).

Inner liner is a bit tight but these material also tend to stretched out over time and lost the elasticity, so tighter now but it will still be fine later, only wear them when riding. However for those who do feel too tight that cuts circulation, yeah, no comment there.

I wish the zipped pocket is larger for a wallet. It’s probably would fit a credit card size wallet, fine, time has changed. lol. Overall, a legit MTB shorts. Highly recommend them.

I got these shorts in size 22 for my tall, but slender 8yo daughter who is about 55” tall and weighs 59 lbs. The shorts fit great but don’t have much room to grow. Unfortunately, the included padded liner is too tight according to my daughter (she’s used to wearing another padded liner from another brand), so she gave the included liner to her little brother who is almost 5 years old and of average build for his age.

They fit him fine with room to grow for a couple years. It worked out for us because I couldn’t find liners small enough in the waist for my son, but I thought it’s worth mentioning that the liner doesn’t seem TTS compared to the shorts.

If your child doesn’t mind a liner that fits tight right against the skin like a pair of normal underwear, these could be fine. My child might be more sensitive to tight undergarments. Anyway, I find these shorts to be a great buy.

It’s so hard to find girl-friendly MTB shorts that aren’t super long and baggy, and even harder to find them in fun colors. We’ll buy more pairs and will probably continue to pass the liners down to little bro and purchase separate liners for my daughter.

The shorts a bit small for a large l, so I suggest XL if you usually wear large. Also the label on the right came off on the first day of wearing this, so it could be better. Otherwise the shorts are fine , padding is good, wore it for 5hrs straight.

Bought for the wife and several rides in she says they are a great fit and extremely comfortable. They have a good amount of padding but not restrictive to move

These shorts are fantastic and I will be purchasing another pair or 2. Extremely comfortable, durable and look great. I bought these to replace a pair of IceBreaker shorts I had for 4 years and finally wore out.

The Virage shorts are spot on and will be my summer staple. Only one pocket but it is a generous size and doesn’t get in the way while riding. Another smaller pocket would be helpful but it does not detract from the quality of these shorts.

Temperature regulation is extremely efficient. I have been warm enough on the cooler mornings and did not overheat when riding mid to late afternoons.

the good: nice light yet strong material for hot summer riding. Slanted zipped pocket that keep the phone out of the way when pedaling. Covers knee pads and lots of room for them. The bad: no Velcro waist adjustment, just the belt which may not work for everyone.

Only one pocket, if you need to carry phone wallet and keys post ride, it’s not convenient. At this price point they could have built in a few more features.

The shorts are ideal for long pedals. They are thin, breathable, and minimalistic. They are NOT made for bike parks, almost too short to cover the gaper gap for your knee pads and it’s quite hard to just brush off dirt if you have a tumble.

The sizing is different from their pants + all their other shorts so make sure you try them on before hand. Lastly, yet TBD if they’ll last long being so thin.
