Cycling gloves are designed to protect your hands from the elements and from the vibrations of the road. They also help to improve your grip on the handlebars and can absorb sweat to keep your hands dry.
The Giro JAG short gloves in black can be combined without any problem with any cycling garment. They are gloves that will offer you all the comfort you need during your bike rides thanks to their excellent fit and their manufacturing materials.
You can adjust its fit using the velcro that they have in the wrist area. The palm of the hand is made of microfiber, a very strong material that will give you a pleasant touch and a better grip with the bicycle handlebar.
In addition, it has different EVA foams distributed throughout the palm to prevent your hands from falling asleep and you can enjoy each outing without any discomfort. The upper part is reinforced and made of 4 elastic pieces, a very pleasant material that absorbs moisture and sweat from your hands.
This is my second pair of these exact gloves, this time in a size Large. Long story short, it seems like the XLs run a little on the big side and the larges run WAY on the small side (they were actually smaller than a friend’s size SMALL glove).
Not sure if the ones I got were mismarked or what, but I can just barely squeeze into them and I am hoping they stretch. It just isn’t worth the hassle of sending them back. Other than the sizing being inconsistent, these are really comfortable gloves.
The padding is sufficient to prevent numbness and discomfort on both my flat bar and drop bar bikes for rides exceeding 5-6 hours. Despite the sizing issues I’ll still probably buy another pair of XLs and live with them being a little big.
Bought a pair of Bravo & a pair of Jag both medium size. I’ve used Giro gloves for ages & they are always good quality & they last. These however were so tight it was ridiculous, no where near the same size as the Jag or my other older Giros’.
The velcro tab also sticks to the body of the glove on the Bravo this then frays & looks worn pretty quickly. In my book the Jag fits better the velcro tab doesn’t stick to the clove when in the drawer & they are cheaper too!.
Good quick dry mesh, gel padding on palms is medium weight which is comfortably just right for me! Washable and hang dry easy. Have ridden with these now for a couple weeks and am very happy. Believe they run true to size but you should measure your hand as recommended on the size chart and be good to go.
The Castelli Perfetto Max cycling gloves are the warmest Castelli gloves of the Perfetto series. The windproof cycling gloves are made in one construction, so you hardly feel that you are wearing these gloves.
The windproof material and fleece lining ensure that your hands stay comfortably warm when cycling in temperatures ranging from 0 to 10 degrees Celsius.
I bought these gloves not as a cyclist, but as a trail runner. I’ve been looking for a glove to run with in cold/wet weather that would keep my hands dry and warm in Fall and mild Winter conditions. I’ve used these gloves now on 2 long runs in poor weather and I’m reasonably impressed.
This includes a 27km trail race up into the alpine on a rainy day where the temp’s were 0-5C and I encountered snow at the summit of the highest climb. They are not completely waterproof — became saturated after 1.
5 hours in a steady rain, but my hands stayed reasonably warm despite that. My sense is that they would do great in light mist/drizzle on extended rides or runs and keep your hands dry indefinitely under those conditions.
I do love the fit and feel, with the exception as noted in other reviews that the fingers are just slightly longer than needed. The quality seems high and the texture is not too unlike wetsuit material, but more comfortable.
The gloves are not easy to get on/off quickly when hands are wet, but that’s not really a fault of the glove itself, so no points lost there. The gloves are thick in material, but not formally insulated and so I don’t think they would keep your hands warm in cold, sub-zero conditions.
I am pleased with these gloves and I anticipate using them a lot for cool/damp trail running conditions.
Like other reviewers, I initially felt that the fingers were too long and the cuffs were slightly too tight. After 2 weeks of riding with them, I have come to appreciate both the finger length and the cuffs.
When I put them on, I do have to take the time to push the gloves down each finger, but I have no restriction of movement when they’re on. I often find the fabric between the fingers is a little too short with most riding gloves I try, and I hate that feeling.
That’s not an issue with these gloves. I have also come to like the cuffs as they fit nicely under any layer I’m wearing to seal the cold air out. I have used these gloves from -8C to 5C and I have been fine, but any cooler and I would have to go for something heavier.
I wore them for a short ride in light rain once, and they kept me dry.
I used these at 3 degrees celcius feeling like -1C in dry but really windy conditions. I can’t say that my hands were toasty warm, but, they weren’t really cold either. Dexterity is excellent in terms of switching gears, fastening your helmet strap, fishing stuff out of your rear jacket pockets.
You could probably stretch these down to zero degrees but no colder than that. I will caution that I was riding solo and working pretty hard i. e generating heat that I may not have if I was drafting behind a large group a good deal of the time.
This is always a factor. Overall, I’m pretty happy with these gloves as I was skeptics about how warm they could possibly be given how thin they are. They have impressed me.
Whether you’re shredding trails or sending it big on the track, the performance and quality will withstand your best efforts with the 100% Ridecamp Glove. Give it your all. A unique embossed ergonomic slip-on cuff offers maximum durability and comfort, while stretch finger gussets enhance mobility and wick away moisture.
The perforated single-layer Clarino palm improves comfort and reduces bunching while 100%’s integrated tech-thread that keeps you connected with your devices, enabling you to use your touch screen with ease.
The 100% Ridecamp Gloves are built to be versatile and tough, ready for any occasion or challenge.
I’ve been using these for a few weeks now. Initially slightly tight, but they open up and fit beautifully. They look great, are super comfortable and my hands feel free and unrestricted. I don’t ride dirt (yet), so I just use these in the street.
I ride year round and have worn these in 0 and just below 0 temps. not recommended haha. Anything over 5 degrees is awesome though. Highly recommend, can only imagine how awesome these would be on dirt bikes.
Love these gloves, a lot better than using normal gloves since I find them slippery on the bars and make it so I can’t use my phone’s screen. These have nice grippy sections for the brake and shifters.
I brought them for protection from falls when MTBing, which they have saved my skin a couple of times. But I found that they’re great for those frigid early morning rides. My only small complaint is that the sleeve is a bit short, but that’s probably because I’m used to motorbike gloves.
I’ve actually had an excellent experience with these gloves. I prefer gloves without a velcro cuff or any additional padding in the palm so these are perfect for me. Currently own 4 pairs that I rotate through to keep them smelling more fresh.
Highly recommend and find them to be better then other gloves in the same price point.
Designed for cyclists just learning to ride, the Louis Garneau Calory Glove provides well-ventilated grip and essential padding without being prohibitively expensive, especially seeing you’re shelling out for all-new apparel and bike components.
It’s designed with an Ergo Air palm for cool-wearing ventilation, paired with foam padding in essential areas to lessen fatiguing vibration over pounding pavement. Additionally, you’ll find an adjustable cuff that keeps it from slipping off, a soft microfiber thumb wiping surface, and spandex backside for hand-conforming security.
I’ve been looking for the right fit and feel in cycling gloves. These Garneau Biogel gloves fit very well and the feel is also very comfortable especially with the Biogel padding and the airflow mesh in the palm.
The material looks durable in contrast to my previous glove of a different brand. I’m hard on my cycling gloves and look forward to using these. I’m close to the top end of the XL, so if my hand was any bigger I would go the the XXL for sure.
Fit is snug but just within the size range stated. If you want a bit more room, go up one size.
These gloves are great quality and have all the features you want. My challenge is that I have fairly small hands and I nearly always use a small glove size (ring size 5-6). I ordered the medium and they were a bit tight the first ride (8 miles).
The second ride (25 miles) I thought they would loosen up, but I had to take the right glove off at 23 miles because it was cutting into the web between my fingers so badly that my whole hand/arm was going numb.
I wish I would’ve bought the large. Also, probably because of the size, they were EXTREMELY hard to get off. The “finger pulls” seem a little fragile and are hard to grab a hold of. I had to use my teeth to be able to grab onto them and pull.
Louis Garneau is, in my opinion, the “less well-known” of the bicycle apparel manufacturers, and yet their products are high quality and not as pricey. what’s wrong with that?? I have three pairs of these BioGel Gloves, and they serve me on my indoor trainer, on my road bike, and even on my mountain bike! Material is top-notch, fitting is superb, and durability is excellent.
Garneau Air Gel Ultra Gloves provide the most gel padding on the market with additional features that enable you to ride pain-free all day long. Over 5 mm of patented Biogel progressive padding is anatomically placed around the palm to keep blood flowing and prevent numbness, while patented Ergo Air X-Vent ventilation allows air to flow freely through your palm, preventing sweat and rubbing.
The palm is made with GTEX synthetic leather, and they’re equipped with special finger pullers that allow the gloves to come off with ease.
All in all, these are really great gloves, especially if on discount. They have discreet velcro fasteners that make taking on & off gloves super easy. The only weird thing I noticed is that the thumbs have these half-circle fabric “tabs” that gets slightly in the way when I bend my thumbs.
I take notice of this when I quickly switch to the drops and do sprints. I believe they were added to make it easier to pull the gloves off. They don’t “get in the way” really, but you can feel them if the excess fabric accidently folds in the wrong way (when you bend your thumb).
I’m considering cutting them off so that the fabric for the thumbs are complete straight.
I have wide palms and short stubby fingers for a slim 5’4” woman. I wear large womens or medium mens. These large were very slightly too wide and the fingers just slightly tight but the cushioning is awesome and the position of the gel is perfect.
I at first bought 2 pair and after an 80km ride, bought 1 more pair. The 3 pulls to remove them work well but the other 2 fingers have to be coaxed off as in other gloves.
Ride or die! Our new Lightweight Mesh Gloves offer a lighter mesh ventilated upper to keep your hands cool for warmer weather riding, but with the same incredible palm protection as our regular premium gloves.
They also feature a rad new PUNK pattern along with our classic silicone printed palms for grip where you need it most. Slip these bad boys on and stay cool while shredding in the hottest conditions!.
Great gloves, plenty of grip and they look great on. They are a lighter glove for dry days. They fit and feel comfortable however as described make sure you go up a size as the size up fairly small.
Love Muc-off, design and fabric are great, anti-slip is superb, and then you put them on; wrong Muc-off! Feels like cheap and fast Chinese production you feel the seems on your fingertips, due to the great fabric outside makes your hand inside moves, not to loose but the fabric is to slippery inside.
The LX combines the craftsmanship styling and luxurious feel from road gloves of the past with contemporary performance features like Super Fit engineering Technogel padding and reflective details. The redesigned and simplified upper improves comfort with a clean classic look.
The result is a pair of gloves that deliver comfortable reliable grip and protection mile after mile.
Love these. They fit well and have good all over padding. The leather is supper soft and I love the colour. Their first outing was on a century ride and they performed better than expected.
There are cheaper gloves on the market but these exude quality. I have had a pair of the white ones and they are just wearing on one palm, so I thought I would opt for the black ones. Comfy, great fit, you couldn’t ask more of a glove.
When mid-summer temperatures roll around, adding gloves to warm-weather kits isn’t always a priority. That is, unless you have a pair of Louis Garneau Biogel RX-V Cycling Gloves sitting in the cubby by the door.
Their lightweight mesh backing won’t stifle airflow, while a padded palm keeps you on the road longer by reducing fatiguing vibrations, preventing numbing pressure points, and providing confident, slip-free purchase on the handlebars.
I’ve always loved these gloves, I wear this when it gets cold out. They fit really well, and are easily adjustable with the velcro. I thought they would be too small being XS, that’s the only size I can find in this style.
But they fit very well, I have small hands, but I was still concerned about the fit. They stretch out a wee bit after a few days of use too. I ordered a different pair in small, but they sag quite a bit in the palm area.
I bought these gloves for two purposes: cycling/mountain biking, bagging peaks. I wore them for the first time bagging Mount Borah and they were awesome! They held up to the sharp rocks and protected the palms of my hands well.
They have ample padding – not too much, but not too little. It seems like it’s hard to find just a standard biking glove these days, because there are so many options. This is a good overall glove!.
This Lightweight Mountain Bike Glove is loaded with finger-friendly features. A seamless one-piece synthetic leather palm provides excellent tactile feedback, giving you more grip without sacrificing bar feel.
Silicone grippers on the thumb, index and middle fingers provide confident shift and brake control in all conditions, and touchscreen compatibility streamlines device management.
The usual Pearl Izumi quality and fit. I normally wear PI in a size medium and these in medium fit the same. As a size comparison, for the Giro brand, I wear a size Large. My go to gloves are PI Attack which I find perfect for summer weather.
The material used in these Summit Pro gloves feel more substantial so they may be less breathable in summer. For late summer, early fall weather, these gloves have worked well.
There is absolutely no padding on this glove whatsoever. Might as well use everyday street gloves. Very misleading advertising these as cycling gloves. Returning immediately.
Got these gloves for cold weather cycling. Warm enough in 40 degree windy weather. Fingers are a bit long, but not problematic. I could actually dial my phone with gloves on!
Keeping your hands comfortable is vital when it comes to grip of the bars and enjoyment of your ride. The C3 Short Cycling Gloves certainly enhance comfort with a snug fit that feels like a second skin, while the slim padded palm does a great job of lessening the shocks and vibrations of rough roads and bumpy terrain.
The short finger design gives you control of brakes and shifters while pull-off loops between the fingers make them remarkably easy to remove after your ride.
Had been wanting to replace some battered full finger Fox gloves that I used for my commute. Was looking at POC, but size availability was iffy. I’ve had GORE products before, especially waterproof overshoes, jackets and trousers.
The gloves have so far been great, used on some wet, cold and mild days and they are a good balance of thin enough to mean you get a good feel for the bars and can open jackets, pockets etc. Also warm enough to have stopped me using some deep winter Rapha ones that are frankly just too bulky and give zero feel in terms of ride and braking.
I have a feeling on super cold days and longer rides these new Gore gloves may not keep my hands smug, but that’s not what they are designed for and for my daily commute they have so far worked a treat.
Only complaints would be the Velcro adjustment for the wrist is really hard to undo (needs a tab or flap I think) and I’ve yet to be able to operate my iPhone wearing them. But these are small gripes in what is a good glove.
These are the best gloves I have worn for warmth and breathability. I assumed these gloves wouldn’t be that great but I was wrong. The only dissapointment was the fit and I have tried several sizes. The gloves I settled for were size 9 which have slightly longer fingers but the fit is fairly tight.
I find it hard to use my phone or unlock and lock my bike. So the gloves don’t measure up on that side but because they are so warm and your hands don’t sweat I have given a 9 out of 10. All that said I will probably buy these again.
Gore if your designers were to allow the buyer a more tailored fit so the option to give extra details on finger length then these would be undoubtably the best glove in existence. I for one would pay more money for this service.
Been using these on early morning rides and they are great. While not super warm like my heavier gloves, they are keep the bite off my hands down to around 40 degrees. Comfortable, good fit, similar fit to other bike brands.
Interesting feel without palm padding like other gloves, but that works for me. I really like the bright color. Works okay with iPhone screens, the touch screen material feels a bit sticky on a screen in a good/different kind of way.
Solving the eternal cycling glove paradox, Pearl Izumi Attack Full-Finger Gloves both protect your hand and also enhance your grip without sacrificing any padding. And while these benefits often contribute to either overheating or cutting off the circulation of the hand, the Attack Gloves are designed for serious saddle time.
In other words, you gain all of the benefits without any of the sacrifices. Not to mention, the fingertips are touchscreen-compatible so you can easily share your ride’s stats with your followers. Using their 1:1 Palm Connect design, Izumi placed padding around the Ulner and Median nerves, where fatigue and loss of circulation are prone to happen.
This, along with the soft and durable synthetic-leather palm, contributes to excellent handlebar feel and a superior grip. To prevent overheating, Pearl Izumi uses stretchy mesh at the back of the hand in order to wick perspiration and to provide a cooling airflow.
However, to wipe brow sweat on-the-fly, the thumb panel consists of a soft, absorbent terry cloth. At the cuff, a hook-and-loop strap and easy-off tab ease your entry and exit of the glove.
I’ve used these on 3 long (26 mile) rides. They are comfortable, light-weight, and a good fit for my hand (L). The surprise is the stitching-in of the palm padding on the inside of the glove. This sits, exposed, on the inside of the glove and is just roughly stitched along its edge.
Every time I put the glove on, my fingers ripple over that stitching. Other gloves have a full inner layer and secure the padding between the outer and inner layers, so there is no edge that your fingers hit when you put them on.
Not this glove. In use on my rides, I don’t notice this, but every time I put them on, I wonder how long that stitching will last and keep the edge down.
I’m very pleased with this purchase. The big surprise was the “touch screen” finger tips actually work. Many gloves promise this and few deliver. Love the way they fit like a pair of leather drivers gloves.
the pad is in the right spot and gives me the relief I need on my hybrid bike. Good wind stopping and these will be my go to gloves this winter for temps down to 40 degrees f. I have other gloves i can pull over them in colder temps so they will be a great base thermal layer of sorts.
I wore these daily for a ~5 mile round trip commute, and the fit and padding is perfect for me. The padding is all in the palms. I ride a flat-bar bike, so resting my weight there keeps my hands comfortable, even for rides approaching 40 miles long.
There is basically no padding on the fingers, but that just allows your fingers to be flexible. The touchscreen-friendly fingertips work well on my phone. These are well vented, so are great for summer rides, with the tradeoff that they provide nearly no wind protection when it is cold (would recommend use for > 45 F).
The one issue I have had is the velcro. After washing these maybe 8 times, the velcro does not have much stick left. However, the gloves still stay snug, even with the velcro undone. In hindsight, this is probably user error; these are light and breathable enough that you can hang them up and they’ll dry overnight.
With their combination of burly and grippy palm, flexibility that offers gloveless levels of dexterity on the grips, plus all-day comfort, the Ranger Cycling Gloves deliver performance, whatever mountain bike discipline you love.
The snug fit ensures you get a natural feel of the bars and silicone prints ensures no slipping when grabbing your brake levers. The low-profile cuff with hook and loop closure keeps the gloves firmly in place and a micro-suede thumb is an easy way to wipe away sweat.
You’ve even got touchscreen compatibility to keep you in control of your tech. The Ranger continues to set the standard for performance, fit and value in an affordable and great looking MTB glove.
I normally fit a size 7 glove. I used the measuring guide linked on this page to measure my hand and it was a size large in these gloves. I received them and while the fingers fit snugly and are the perfect length, the palm area is too wide.
They are so wide at the wrist that even tightening the velcro as tight as it will go leaves the gloves baggy on me. I also feel like the gloves are too short and don’t come far enough up to my wrist for my liking.
I have a different brand of MTB gloves which I purchased last season from Altitude Sports that fits much hands much better so I will have to purchase more of those instead. I just thought this time I would try FOX as it’s such a renown brand for MTB gear, unfortunately these gloves are not the right fit for me.
When you think if this glove, think minimalism. It’s thin, light, and basic. As such you could wear if for 4 season riding in good weather, but on a cold or wet day you would probably want something more substantial.
The Ranger Glove’s thin material gives you great bar feel and control and the plastic ridges on the thumb, index and middle finger give you a nice bit of extra grip on the bars, shifters and brakes. The thin material is not going to provide much protection and these gloves lack the reinforced protective knuckle and finger guards found on beefier products, so they’re probably best suited to either those who stick to bike paths, gravel or accomplished single track riders who don’t crash much.
I bought a bike online in September for my sons Xmas. Stayed in box till Xmas. When I set it up which I was told was easy enough. So my son went out in it , but he was back in ten minutes as the chain kept coming off.
We called the shop in braehead Glasgow and they advised we took it in. After checking the bike over. There was a split cable. The derailer was out of line as well. £650 for a bike that clearly was not ready for my son to go on.
The bike was in all day , but I can’t thank Stuart at the shop highly enough. I honestly think these bikes need set up and checked properly before they leave shirebrook. Ashley is making millions and millions so I thing safety here is paramount.
Focus on what lies ahead without distraction. A high degree of mobility and excellent durability make the 100% Cognito D3O Gloves the perfect choice for the serious mountain bike shredder. D3O knuckle protectors keep these vulnerable areas safe with form-fitting impact protection.
Breathability is kept high with mesh finger gussets, 4-way stretch material on the top of the hand and the perforated single-layer Clarino palm. Blisters are kept under control with the thumb overlay, while bar and lever grip is increased by silicone printed graphics on the fingers and palm.
The integrated tech thread lets you stay connected on your devices with ease too.
I like the fit of the gloves and the wear of the palms. The palm material is not so thin that it gives me blisters or so thick you lack a good grip. The only two grips is the velcro flap comes apart 100% of the time where the top layer peels off.
The foam part that covers your wrist also fades extremely quickly when you wash them just a few time. I always hang dry my gloves so it is not a dryer issue causing the fading. For the price of the pair of gloves they should not fade lighting quick or have the velcro peel off every single time.
I was turning a blind eye to the fade/velcro issue but I just bought a few pairs of the Fox Dirt Paw gloved to try again. Those were my go to gloves before using the 100% for probably my last half dozen pairs.
So far I’ve gone on about 5 2-4h mtb rides since I got these gloves. They’re super comfortable, light and feel protective – although I haven’t had to try them yet. My only complaint about them is the touch screen sensitive finger tips aren’t the most accurate unless you’re sliding your finger.
I purchased the green colour and as somebody who is a heavy sweater, I noticed sweat staining after my first ride.
I bought these for my son in law but the fit wasn’t right so I wore them. I love the feel of the protection of my knuckles and they help with my sweaty hands to not soak the glove. They are sized small but a great glove.
Design Philosophy Now in its third reincarnation, this core cycling glove from Endura is so good that it appeals to all rider tribes. A simple full finger bike glove with knuckle articulation, gel padding and an adjustable cuff.
Fabric Technology The back of the hand is constructed in an open-weave knitted fabric for optimal breathability with knuckle sections in neoprene providing good impact protection from branches when riding.
The palm is in a durable but flexible microfiber and between the fingers a light stretch mesh further assists breathability and prevents overheating. Silicone Grip Palm with gel padding A silicone palm print provides effective bar grip when the going gets wet.
Gel padding in our exclusive Palmistry design, which follows the natural lifelines of your hand, guarantees ergonomic comfort on longer rides. Functional Detail The glove is held securely at the wrist with a Velcro adjuster strap.
And a wicking terry sweat wipe is located on the thumb.
Well made gloves for the price time will tell if they last. Padding is adequate, not amazing. Size was well off. My palm at a stretch was 9. 5cm so I opted for Large thinking they may be on the big side but they were far too small.
Tredz return policy was simple enough and XL fit well. As other reviewers have said, I would definitely size up. If I were Endura, I’d review their sizing technique as I can’t see how it can possibly be accurate.
Good quality glove. They seem quite robust after a few rides. Comfortable and nice amount of padding on palm. They are a snug fit though. I had to order 3 sizes to pick the best fit. All my other gloves are M.
I had to go for L in these and they are still a bit snug. XL felt better but the fingers were too long. If you’ve got big hands or sausage fingers, these are not the gloves for you🤟😁.
The precision engineering of the 100% Ridefit glove delivers an ergonomically crafted fit using premium materials resulting in a lightweight, high performance glove. With the addition of the TPR closure system, the Ridefit achieves a secure fit with no restrictions allowing you to focus on the terrain ahead.
Single-layer Clarino palm for premium comfort. Lightly insulated soft-shell top hand ensure protection against colder temps. Silicone printed palm graphics increase grip in damp conditions. Reflective graphics on top of hand offer a clean look with improved visibility.
Moisture-wicking mircrofiber interior provides the perfect level of insulation. TPR wrist closure system with hook and loop backing ensures proper fit. Integrated tech-thread keeps you connected with your phone or MP3 player.
When we received the gloves one was a small and one was a medium. Contacted customer service and got an immediate reply. Sent new gloves without having to send the original pair back. New gloves were received within a few days.
Gloves are great. Good quality, fit as expected and are cool when riding. Would buy another pair for sure.
Really nice glove, but goes pretty quick. Mashes out, and ripped/ frayed about a month into owning. I ride a lot though so if you only ride a few times a month you’d probably be good. I’d recommend this glove.
Mother Nature has met her match with the 100% Hydromatic Brisker Glove. It’s a low profile glove engineered to keep you going fast in cold, wet weather. The laminated insulated shell with a waterproof/breathable insert blocks out the water and keeps you dry while maintaining exceptional dexterity and control of your bike.
These gloves are REALLY comfy. I’ve been using them for 4 months in Victoria, BC for mtn biking and road cycling. Waterproof? That’s a little tough to know because my hands sweat a lot. In light rain from 5C to 10C, these are great.
There are no frills. No Velcro, no snaps, no buckles, no knuckle/finger impact protection. Few things to The palms and grip-sides of the fingers and thumbs is made of a thin, tough, high-friction material.
Everything is synthetic so machine washing is fine. They dry reasonably fast in a warm place. I’d say the connection to my hand grips (Renthal Ultra Tacky on my mtn bike) is far above average. Out on a damp road-bike ride, the stronger airflow means cooler hands.
These are pretty good down to near freezing. My hands will be chilly but not cold and stiff. Mine were made 01/2018 (purchased late 2021) and do not work with a touchscreen. Newer ones may be better that way.
Overall, I am super-pleased. They seem well-made and I expect long life from them. Sometimes an XL glove fits me fine. 2XL in these is just right for me.
I’ve used these lightweight gloves this spring from cruising on my HD to mountain biking on my old Salsa in cooler damp days here in Winnipeg. They are good for what they say they will do and I keep finding I go back to them.
They will soak up in down pours over time but they’ll keep shedding but surprisingly keep your hands warm. If you want total waterproof/warm 2 degree gloves you’ll need to pay a lot more for it. I love these gloves.
The only real negative is that they are not very wide. If you have big paws look elsewhere.
These won’t provide much protection in a fall, so minus one star for that, but for cold weather riding man these are nice. Warm, dry, grippy, flexible, with excellent feel for the grips and controls.
Not bulky even though they’re insulated. For really cold riding, these would be great inside a shell or with some Hippo Hands. Not sure how long they’ll last because I’ve only had them for a few months and using them most of the time walking my dogs in the cold wet Seattle weather.
For sizing, I usually wear an XL or around a size 9 but you know how glove sizing varies. With these, I got the XXL (one size bigger) and the fit is perfect. Circumference of my hands just behind the knuckles is 9″ exactly, and my middle finger is 3-5/8″ long from the webbing between my fingers to the tip.
The 100% Brisker Gloves are low profile gloves engineered to keep you going fast in cooler weather. Get the perfect amount of insulation to block out damp, cool weather while maintaining exceptional dexterity and control of your bike.
Single-layer Clarino palm for premium comfort. Lightly insulated soft-shell top hand ensures protection against colder temps. Silicone printed palm graphics increase grip in damp conditions. Reflective graphics on top of hand offer a clean look with improved visibility.
Moisture-wicking microfiber interior provides the perfect level of insulation. TPR wrist closure system with hook and loop backing ensures proper fit. Integrated tech-thread keeps you connected with your phone.
I like these gloves for their comfort and style. They are insulated but offer little to be desired. I would consider these adequate for temperatures about 45 degrees and up as the insulation in the fingers is not enough unless you have both heated grips AND handguards.
Too much wind just cuts right through them. On the note of protection, I really worry about the knuckles and the palm area. The palms have zero padding and the knuckles also have nothing to protect from an impact.
I only wear these gloves on my 125 because I fear an accident at high speed would not be good at all for my hands. Overall: Pros: Good style Good fit High flexibility Cons: Little impact protection Low insulation.
These gloves are perfect for lower temps. My hands tend to get cold and stiff riding anywhere in the 40’s. These do perfect, just enough isolation on the top to keep the wind from biting through. I carry my regular gloves to swap out, because once temps climb to the 50s they are too warm for me.
Discovering road cycling in comfort. Simple comfortable cycling gloves for occasional use. A simple way to avoid the usual cycling inconveniences (painful hands blisters or uncomfortable handles). Cushioning Foam on the palm for a more pleasant grip on the handlebar.
User comfort Soft, breathable palm. Thin and light elastane fabric on the exterior. Discovering road cycling in comfort.
Comfortable, economical, and performance-driven, the Body Geometry Sport gloves are the perfect first-choice for riders more focused on comfort and a good time than setting records on every ride. They feature strategically placed gel pads throughout the palm, with additional foam padding in key contact areas.
This combination ensures that you’ll experience minimal hand fatigue from vibration, so you get more comfort and less pain. Features Synthetic suede palm is made from a thin microfiber to combine durability with exceptional grip and comfort.
Body Geometry Sport Gel padding uses gel and foam padding in key contact areas to damp vibration and provide exceptional comfort. Soft and absorbent Microwipe thumb brushes away sweat with ease. Breathable upper mesh gives you enhanced breathability.
Contoured Velcro wrist closure offers easy adjustment and entry/exit from the gloves. Reflective elements increase your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions.
As part of weight loss journey I purchased a Specialized Roll 3. 0. Love the bike by the way, I highly recommend it as an all-around cycling choice. When I was researching the bike one reviewer complained the OEM grips were uncomfortable.
Shortly into my first ride I agreed with him. I researched gloves and decided on the Body Geometry Dual-Gell Short Finger Gloves. Two words: problem solved. They very good gloves and make my rides so much more enjoyable.
I liked them so much I bought the full finger gloves for when it gets cooler. They did however seem to run small. According to the fit guide from Specialized they recommended a large. When the gloves arrived they were too small so I had to reorder in x-large.
They fit perfect! Specialized has a very efficient return process which was much appreciated.
I bought these simply to replace older pairs of POC gloves and various other brands, that have reached the end of their life. However after my first ride on these I realized I was missing out on a much better glove.
They truly surprised me with the excellent fit and comfort while on the bars. These gloves completely mitigate the bulky seams, and extra fabric that wiggles around loosely on the palm for me, and have a second skin type of feel.
I would not say these run small, however they do run very slim fitting, again like a second layer of skin, so if you are on the line between sizes go up. I plan on using these for every type of discipline of cycling, I find them to work well for everything in between bombing down black diamond jump lines as well as grinding up steep road climbs.
I’m a huge Specialized fan. I have specialized road and mountain bikes and specialized bike shorts. I recently replaced my old wonderful, but worn out specialized road gloves with these and find them lacking.
They’re poorly made, uncomfortable and ill fitting. When I got to the cash register at my local Specialized shop, I noticed the finishing fabric ring on one of the fingers was detached and I swapped it for another pair.
Though my hands are identical and I have never had a problem with any kind of gloves in terms of the fit being exactly the same on both hands, this pair’s left and right were different in the thumb area causing discomfort in the left hand but not the right.

Really want to like these but they are too big. I’m in between Medium and Large and went up a size as recommended by a Trek employee I chatted with before purchasing. Should have went with the medium.
I cut the labels out because they are ridiculously long and got in the way to get a real feel. Would like to swap out for the smaller size but my LBS is out of stock and don’t want to hassle with returning to Trek, wait for a refund then repurchase the correct size.
Should have gone with my gut and bought the medium because the back material has a lot of stretch and doesn’t ‘fit like a glove’.
Very happy with these, one of my favourite pieces of kit at the moment and easily the best pair of road gloves I’ve owned. I love the soft material, the high viz touches and they appear well put together.
Have mainly used them commuting by road and cyclo-cross bikes to date.
I really like these gloves. They are cool and comfortable, easy to get on and off, and just forgettable when worn. The palm padding is good, and I like the middle finger tabs for removing them. I would buy them again.
There are many different types of cycling gloves for men, and the best type for you will depend on your personal preferences. However, all cycling gloves for men serve the same basic purpose: to keep your hands warm and dry while you are riding.
Cycling gloves for men are typically made from a variety of different materials, including leather, synthetic leather, and fabric. Some gloves are also made from a combination of two or more of these materials.
Leather gloves are typically the most expensive, but they are also the most durable. Synthetic leather gloves are less expensive, but they are not as durable as leather gloves. Fabric gloves are usually the least expensive, but they are also the least durable.
No matter what type of glove you choose, it is important to make sure that it fits properly. Gloves that are too tight will restrict blood flow to your hands, which can make them cold. Gloves that are too loose will not provide enough insulation and will also allow your hands to get cold.
In conclusion, cycling gloves for men serve the important purpose of keeping your hands warm and dry while you are riding. There are a variety of different materials used to make cycling gloves, and the best material for you will depend on your personal preferences.
However, all cycling gloves for men should fit properly in order to be effective.
