I would have given it 5 stars but the hair that is cut goes to the ground and you will have to sweep it up. After reading the instructions and charging the needed 16 hours. I was ready to cut my hair, it says to run the machine up and down to cut, this does not work well, I found that you have to cut in a circular motion and turn it off to remove the hair that is inside the unit.

It does a nice job cutting hair, it comes with the charger, brush, clippers, oil for cutting blades, two cutting height attachments that you have to make sure the lock down button is not in lock mode to attach.

When charging the green light does not come on if fully charged, I had left on charger for over 20 hours and still the red charging light stayed on, so be aware of that. Light weight, hand did not get tired holding while cutting.

To get an even better cut, it is advised to have a 2nd person do the trimming of the back of your neck. I used my electric shaver to shave the back of my neck and that was fine for me.

Got this for Christmas. As a former service member I have learned the art of doing my own hair for as long as I can remember. This was a nice surprise till I tried it out. The charging time is ridiculous.

Not an even cut at all. Charge were out half way through. On the low settings it butchers your hair. Bald in some spots and no cut at all in others. Around the ears ? Ha ! No. Learn to use normal clippers.

Well, I am disappointed that the larger curved clip is not ridged and stiff because it doesn’t hold all the hair in place: it is extremely pliable! However, the small blue clip clamps and stays closed tight even while gliding the clip through all the clasped hair.

The built in level on each of the clips are a useless addition. Therefore, I purposefully removed the level from the blue one: the level was inoperable to begin with for the fact that it had no liquid inside.

Needless to say, I only kept the smaller blue clip.

I have a fine, long, straight, and delicate hair. I am taking care of my hair by combing it slowly, especially when it is wet. I seldom go to the Beauty Salon, so money is not an issue. The reason is, because I don’t really like the way most Hair Cutters handle my hair.

Great product! I still need to figure out how to use it properly, that’s why I said it isn’t easy to use. I think once I get the hang of it, it’ll be second nature. It’s a great product though especially with this shelter-in-place order.

We can’t go to salons and barber shops since they are all closed. This is a great guide. If you’re not a hairstylist or barber, use this product. Again, it might not be the exact style you’d want, but it’ll get you through that awkward stage of hair growth.

Thai clippers are amazing but also last longer than regular clippers. Made very well not cheaply made. Worth your money, cut very nicely and easy to use. What most barbers use on hair cuts.

worked pretty good on my hair I was trimming I think it would work better on thinner hair but it did cut my thick hair and my son’s hair even I like the oster brand it’s a good longtime reputable brand.

I use these at the shop. They have power and will cut through anything. And these will last you years if you take care of them and maintain them. These would be for more advanced barbers i would think.

A lot of barbers these days don’t work much with detachable blade clippers. I bounce between them and use these to remove thick or bulky hair. It’s a clean beautiful cut and the blade tapers and is a great blend.

I have had this product for one year and use it every two weeks for a full body shave. The Oster Model 10 is PURE QUALITY. The company will also stand behind there product when there are problems. I had the “000” razor and one of the small teeth would cut me so I mailed it in and they sent me a new one.

For those that do a Full Body Shave, I would recommend to go purchased the “0000” razor. it seems to be a much better choice.

This clipper cuts well, and close. I noticed after a full head balding cut of use though, it gets warm to I would say really warm. It does feature a powerful motor, a powerful cooling fan that has blown a person’s very short hair around as I was cutting, and has a long blade side to side stroke.

In a pic I provided, I point at the vent where the fan blows out from. There is another vent of the same on the opposite side. I have found the clippers cut close, but not as close as the Professional Wahl 5 Star Balding clippers.

Overall though, I still like it and have no regrets on buying it. I’m sure of its quality build, for non professional use, it should last a lifetime.

This is my second vacuum clipper I purchased. My first one was used monthly for my husband’s head hair cut and body hair trimming. The vacuum draws most every hair into it’s easy remove compartment and the blade has always been sharp, never pulling hair thus making my haircutting easy.

The other thing nice about this product is that it comes with a short comb attachment for use on mens eyebrows as well as neatening men’s body hair, like chest, back ect. It’s lightweight design allows the user to trim a good volume of hair anyplace on ones body without the extra weight like other trimmers I’ve had in the past.

This new model takes the same comb attachments as the older model. They have improved the AC cord plug to be smaller and much lighter than the last one which is nicer in handling. I’ve had my first clipper for over ten years and the only reason I had to purchase the second one is due to the plastic tab that holds the trim Combs had snapped off.

I understand why manufacturers use plastics however being plastic causes the user to handle it carefully. One drop may crack plastic so use carefully. This is a nice hair clipper, the best for the price range and has always handled a good length if use time while doing full body, head to foot hair trimmings.

This is my 2nd purchase in almost 20 years and id certainly purchase another should the need arise.

In college I cut my own hair to save money, and still do 30 years later when short on time or don’t want to risk exposure to infectious diseases. These work well, and there’s no clean up because they vacuum the hair up as you go.

One piece of advice, oil your clippers every time, and if they’re not perfect every time, spend a few minutes and clean the hair out, it’s easy and keeps your blades from dulling.

Tried a self-cut with this device. The vacuum works very well – I had put down a towel to catch any stray hair but couldn’t find any. It’s been 2 1/2 month since my last cut. Now that barbers are off-line I decided to get this unit because it’s got a nice selection of guides and the vacuum feature.

The power cord is very long, so maneuvering is not hampered. A bit tricky doing the cut on myself. Looking in a mirror. 🙂 The longest length hair guide is 1 inch and I usually prefer close to 2 in on top.

Managed to do a decent cut. The side combs will cut your hair very short around your ear, so be careful. About a half-hour of fiddling around. Overall I would definitely reccomend this hair cutting kit.

Recent purchase to augment my cordless Wahl. First corded hair clipper and I’m amazed by its power and lack of noise for its size. It’s fairly heavy and I was hoping for that as I want a larger motor clipper that feels durable.

No slowing down through thick hair as a battery struggles. It comes with ten guide combs that use a metal clip to attach to the clipper. No more plastic breaking when switching combs. The taper lever is amazingly useful and is a first for me.

I did my first (successful) fade today thanks to all the guides and use of the taper lever. Only minor issue is that I discovered at home that one of the case hinges (thin plastic piece) was broken. Not worth returning as the remaining two hinges take the load easily.

All other pieces in perfect shape. I absolutely recommend this.

Okay, this kit is great- I’ve already used it a couple of times on my husband’s and brother’s hair and it’s solid, comes with everything you need. I’m taking off two stars because of my overall purchase experience: originally bought this in-store, and took it home to use it only to find out the the kit had been opened and used already; everything was out of its original packaging, items were missing, the razor didn’t have the protective covering and there was HAIR all over.

SO GROSS. Someone had even taped OVER the original closure tape that you need to break in order to open the kit. The whole thing was disgusting and really turned me off of buying from Target, but my husband really wanted this particular kit, and Target had it the cheapest, so we returned the gross one (the employee who helped with the return didn’t even seem to care that it had been opened, used, and then returned by the way) and bought a new one online.

The new one was, thankfully, brand new with all parts unopened and in pristine condition. So: if you see this in store, I wouldn’t take the chance. Most likely it was a return, so just buy it online.

The product itself is great. I was very happy with the quality of the clippers, the attachments and the variety of accessories that came in the kit. Having a fancy barber’s cloth to drape over my victim was great! However, I was quite irritated by a small card that I found in the box.

It was a request from the company to take a survey, and they promised a free gift if I did so. I followed the link to the survey, gave them a glowing review, then followed the link at the end of the survey to get a free hair pomade.

There were two problems: (one) the discount code provided, which is meant to make the product free, doesn’t work, and (2) you have to pay $12. 95 shipping in order to get the product to your house. Overall, this false promise of a “free gift” has left a sour taste in my mouth for the Wahl company in general.

I don’t want to buy products from a company that feels the need to lure customers to their site to buy more stuff by pretending to reward them for making a purchase in the first place. I went from being very happy with my purchase to super irritated.

When the pandemic hit, I knew I needed to invest in myself. The Andis gto barber razor has been my GO TO for cutting all the boys. We keep things high and tight using all the included attachments. Saturday’s will never be the same once you have this razor in your posession.

Disappointed for the PRICE. The clippers are a good weight and I like the on/off switch for the liners but for the price, they do not have a storage bag and the guards are very cheap. Some guards will not stay on the clippers, also the guards measurements are different skipping a few measurements then jumping to 8 (longest measurement).

I’m lucky I saved the guards from my old Andis clippers that where a cheaper model b/c they had a storage bag and better quality guards that seem to interchange. The guards are also hard to read the measurements unless in direct lighting (would be nice if they where cut out like some of the other brands for quick ref.

Excellent clipper set. Well Designed. Between the guard system and the adjustable clipper positioning, it’s fairly easy to achieve some nice fades with a little practice. I highly recommend.

i ordered this item because it had a picture of big and small clippers. in the box there was only the big clippers. if i knew it was only going to be the big ones i would have bought a cheaper pair. i used the clippers.

they are relatively quiet and worked perfect. just sissapointed on not getting the smaller pair of clipper/trimmers.

I received the Conair Number Cut 20 piece kit free to test. This kit is the perfect option for a family or even for pets. The kit comes with 10 combs to choose from depending on the length you want and you can adjust the taper control as well.

I believe you have 5 setting to choose from. What I really like is that the blades are self sharpening. I’ve had several other kits that were nice but over time, the blades did become dull after about a year.

This kit certainly seems to be higher quality than others in the same price range. For those that have not cut hair before, you can’t mess things up with this kit. The instructions are straightforward and the trimmer itself has each comb’s length as a quick guide.

Highly recommend for husbands and their kids. Could use on pets too but not going to use this one for our family pet.

I haven’t been to the barber shop ln years. I’ve been cutting my own hair for years now. I cut my friends, family, and my own kid’s hair. ( Not women hair). These clippers are decent for the price point.

“Zero” cuts very close and clean which I appreciate alot. The attachments are all colored so it’s very easy to switch. I will say, when I first opened the package and took it apart to clean and oil it.

During the first use it pulled my hairs. I feel like the pieces have to get worn in alittle because after the 3rd/4th time cutting hair, it didn’t do this anymore. My friend also got a kit and he had a very similar issue.

The only other complaint I could see is that the material the housing of the clipper is made of attracts the hair. Similar to a static kind of feel, the hairs stick to the clippers and it’s hard to brush them all off to keep it clean.

All in all, it is a great affordable kit. Although it feels lite weight and cheap, I feel like it I got my money’s worth.

I have a Mohawk and have been cutting my own hair weekly for two years now with no previous experience. I recently purchased this wahl clipper because the clipper I had before (also wahl professional) had been over-oiled and I kind of wrecked it by accident being such a noob.

In this clipper set there are proper oiling instructions so that I can’t ruin them. A+ for that feature alone! I had tried a home clipper by wahl (not professional grade) and I didn’t feel it got as close on the 0 setting and the housing was lighter plastic so it would vibrate so much I couldn’t properly see what I was doing.

The blades were also wider and it made it difficult to get close enough to my hair line for a proper cut. I like my sides very very short and this gets the job done with no snagging and honestly less vibration than the home cut clippers and a more narrow blade set.

Heavier since they are professional but these are great clippers even if you’re just a metal chick with a Mohawk and not a barber.

Outstanding hair clippers! I love my new Wahl Pro Series!!! Soooo much better than my other cheap clippers! I own a HC-60 Remington and HC408R Conair, both of which I “thought” were good clippers. They do a decent enough job cutting, but take FOREVER to get done.

I cut my hair about every 3 – 4 months (so not too long of hair) using the 1/2″, 3/8″, and 1/4″ clips and it ALWAYS took 30 – 40 minutes to get done (plus I was always constantly stopping to dig cut hair out of the clips, which also made time take too long).

With my Wahl Pro Series, hair cutting has become a joyful breeze, taking 15 minutes – MAX!!! They cut smooth, quick, and clean. Such a HUGE upgrade over the other clippers I’ve used! I can’t stress this enough, they are such great quality (in my opinion), and fast cutting.

The only “negative”, is they are much HEAVIER than most other hair clippers (which might be a testament to their better quality motor), so you have to MAKE SURE YOU HOLD THEM GOOD, OR THEY COULD SLIP OUT OF YOUR HAND AND GET DROPPED ON THE FLOOR (you may be saying “Duh” right now, “Of coarse you have to hold them good” but until your actually holding and using them, you wont fully understand why i’m mentioning this.

I’ve owned Wahl clippers in the past, but they were the home use models. I didn’t like how they snagged on my hair all the time, they just seemed to lack the power to get the job done. So, I decided to upgrade to a PRO use clipper, and I chose the Wahl Magic Clip, and I am so glad that I did.

The Wahl Magic Clip uses a rotary motor, so a different design then your typical electromagnetic. It does come with a taper lever like many Wahl clippers, but this model uses a stagger tooth blade. This is the recent upgraded model that comes with the 5v battery system for the claimed 100-minute runtime.

I like the fact that the clipper comes with a separated charger adapter, it is a high efficiency 2-amp output charger, that can both charge the clippers, or, allow you to operate the clippers with the cord attached! This particular kit comes with the standard guide combs, a hair comb, bottle of oil, and the operators manual.

I felt that the standard guide combs were OK, but they did have some flex in them, and I didn’t feel like they were quality, I would have proffered if the premium guides came with the kit. So I purchased the premium guide combs, and thats what I use instead of the standard ones.

Unlike my old clippers, the Magic Clips allows me to cut through my thick and course wiry hair like butter. And also unlike my old clippers, the Magic Clips do not allow hair to stay and clog the blade, it gets rid of the hair.

The rotary motor is certainly louder then the electromagnetic motors, but the noise isn’t that bad. I am extremely happy with my Wahl Magic Clip, especially since I upgraded to the premium guide combs, that secure better with metal clips, and are more durable.

Also, get yourself a better clipper cleaning brush, the one that comes in the kit is OK but not the best either. Also, for clarification, I purchased this clipper for home use, this just demonstrates the quality that I wanted, and how much I was willing to spend to get said quality.

I have only used this once but it worked well. I bought it as a beard trimmer as I am fed up with buying beard trimmers that take multiple passes to get to the length required. I bought this because I had seen a handful of people recommend it for this reason.

I used it without any attachments at its shortest setting. The stubble was very short, less than 1mm I would say, almost clean shaven but clearly with some growth. The cable power means it is clearly very powerful and did not slow down when going through my beard at all.

The cable could do with being longer only because I want to use it in my bathroom and I have to plug in outside the bathroom with an extension lead. The beard came off very easily, no real need for a second pass even (although I did for completelness).

Very pleased, and less than a quarter of the time i would normally spend with my Philips beard trimmer which was around 40. The clipper comes with the normal grade attachments from grade 1 upwards. This produces a cut of 3mm.

A 1/2 grade is available to buy seperately which provides a cut of of 1. 5mm I think, which is what my old bear trimmer was set to. However, without the attachment, I can adjust the cutting length – my first attempt was at its shortest, next time I will do its longest which I think could be around 1mm which is perfect for stubble look.

The clipper is heavy, (but feels solid and of good quality), it seems very capable for my needs, and because it is a cable version (rather than battery) I think will last some years. (All my other beard trimmers have died because batteries have failed in the end, rather than the clippers themselves).

Very happy with the purchase so far and I would recommend for beard/stubble trimming.

I just recently got the Wahl cordless magic clip from Sally Beauty because I wanted something that would last to start cutting my own hair and bought the CoolCare with it as they recommended it to keep the clipper oiled and rust free, plus it’s in a spray so much easier and faster to apply than reguler clipper oil.

It’s also a very big bottle so they said it should last a really long time. I only used the clipper once so far and It works great. The fact that its cordless is a big plus because you don’t have to manage the cord while using it.

You can tell the coolcare really helps to clear any stuck hair and that the motor runs alot smoother after applying(can also be used just to cool the clipper blade when it gets hot! ) This morning I decided to try on my older clipper and beard trimmers that I had laying around that weren’t working as well as they used to (not having used any clipper oil on them before) and it brought them back to life.

The motor runs alot smoother(not as noisy). I also noticed that where I had to pass multiple times before with the beard trimmer, it was alot less after applying the coolcare.

The quality and performance of this kit is a mixed bag, so I’ll share my experience with the components individually: The clippers in this kit are probably worth the overall price, although not as nice as other Wahl corded clippers I’ve used – they’re a little louder and less stable.

The lubricating oil is okay, as is the little cleaner brush. The scissors are serviceable for an occasional mustache trim or similar use. The combs are utter throwaways, in my opinion – I certainly wouldn’t use them, and did just that.

The clipper attachments for setting hair length are the weakest performance link in the kit. The longest ones and shortest ones were intact and functional, but several of the others came bent and misaligned – the result of poor initial quality, poor quality control, and poor packaging.

The storage case is another aspect where cost control makes it barely useful – it is too thin, doesn’t align well when closed, and doesn’t stay closed well. All in all, I’m satisfied with my purchase – but barely.

The things I need to use work okay. Fortunately, the worst components are things I don’t need to use, but that’s just a coincidence. For others, though, they could be more important and put this into the “not good enough” category.

I have used the Whal professional for years and knew this was what I would be getting again. I used it just a couple days after it arrived. Everything was there and in proper order. The case wasn’t as nice as previous ones I have recieved but still better then the bag most clippers come with now.

The unit was pre oiled and ready to go after opening. It cut great, didn’t pull at all and judging by the feel of it believe this set will also last me 10 years. I do wish they gave you more oil but its cheap and you can order it off walmarts website.

It cut even and had every attachmet necessary to complete the task. My kids love how quick and easily it moved through the hair. We didnt have a single issue with pull or discomfort.

I bought this as a replacement for a Wahl trimmer that lasted more than 25 years. In my option, the Wahl quality of construction in this unit has declined since that first purchase. This new trimmer is quite loud and vibrates intensely compared to the old one.

The noise comes from the unit’s housing pieces vibrating against each other. The intense vibration is inherent to the unit. I’ve tried adjusting the side screw as per the manual to reduce these undesirable attributes.

No level of adjustment helps. I can reduce the noise level by gripping the unit tightly. That solution works only for a few minutes and best saved for trimming around ears when the noise level is concerning.

The tight grip coupled with the hard vibration induces hand fatigue. I give this product 2 stars because it comes with a complete set of accessories minus ear plugs and a practical storage case for all of them.

This is the last Wahl I plan to buy. There are better constructed hair trimmers that cost a little more that won’t make me dread home trims between barber visits.

I have used oster 76s on and off throughout my 2 decade long career as a hairdresser. I always come back to them. Only thing I would change is to have an adjustable guard but changing out guards is quite simple so it doesn’t lose any stars for that.

I have had thr same pair for 10 years. I clean them daily, blade wash weekly and do all proper maintenance. I have never had a problem with any of my oster tools and recommend them to every hairdresser that wants tools that last and preform.

One of the best brands in the market. This particular clipper is really powerful and extremely versatile. You can use it to remove bulk, fade, and clipper over comb. I do stress that this particular machine is heavy, I repeat, it is heavy! However, this brand delivers high quality products and they are a high end brand.

This particular Clipper is a little under $300. 00. You won’t find this particular model just anywhere. I purchased mine through a salon catalog. My fellow stylists had this particular style for over 10 years, so they do last a long time.

Works great!Started cutting my husband’s hair about last year we started off with the cheaper pair from Walmart that were only $18 and they worked well but they didn’t cut his thick hair with ease like theses do! He has nice thick hair but these clippers glide right through and cut his hair and half the time! I love all the color accessories and all of the brightly colored gaurds! He never has to second-guess me on the sizing because he can clearly see the color of the guard that’s on! I loved the accessories that really came in handy on top of having the tapered guards for ears and eyebrow trimming! Great little kit that looka cool too! Perfect for at home use.

Easy to use. Easy to pack up. Easy to maintain. Good results. After two to three uses, I became very comfortable with the device and can confidently provide at home haircuts similar to what my partner got at the salon (and better than what he got at a barber).

Note: I only use the clipper around the lower portion of the head and I cut the top portions using the scissor/comb method. The clipper doesn’t do fine detail or give a close shave (to really clean up the nape or side burns).

Despite that, the clipper is an important part of my COVID haircut toolkit and has already paid for itself in terms of what my partner would pay for a haircut. The safety of knowing he can stay well-groomed without risk also makes the price of the clipper an exceptional deal.

He has thick curly hair that grows quickly (up and out). Along with the clipper, I’ve bought thinning shears, cutting shears, and cutting combs. I relied on Africa Martinez’s demo on Youtube to learn how to use all the tools.

These worked for about 4 haircuts. They worked well despite them being relatively inexpensive. Then while I was finally cutting the hair of my very brave, but very touch and sounds sensitive son, they got EXTREMELY LOUD.

They weren’t pulling hair and the blades looked correct. I turned them off and they came back on and sounded normal. This happened 3 times until he couldn’t handle it any longer. We hadn’t gotten far at all.

He was so upset and it was hard to salvage the haircut. I looked at it and I haven’t found any reason this would happen. They are not dirty and the blades are straight. This was very frustrating and set us back on progress we had made with his confidence when comes to haircuts.

I do not believe I can trust this brand again.

After 15 years of use, I dropped my old trimmer on a hard surface. So careless. Having purchased the new one, this is my opinion: Just as efficient and always guaranteed to give a great cut. The old one was made in the USA, this one in Hungary I believe.

The only difference seems to be a slight reduction in quality of the plastic casing. It feels less substantial. Hence only 4 stars. The motor, blades and performance are as good as ever. I sincerely hope, barring carelessness, that this one will last as long, if not longer.

Bought these to replace a clipper from a different maker. These are a far superior product and give a good result. The flex lead is extra long so that I am not restricted too much in respect of where I can use them.

My previous clippers were rechargeable which was fine but the battery packed up after about 2 years so decided to go for one with a lead for the better service life (hopefully). These are quite heavy and chunky but that gives me no concern it just makes me feel that they are more robust and well made.

You can’t go wrong with these, whether you’re a pro or a home cutter. These are like the Technics 1210 vinyl players, you’ll never need another one because they are the industry standard across the planet.

The clippers are well designed and built, the weight is just right and they’re not loud when in operation. I payed around 45 for mine (brand new boxed accessories etc) they’re worth twice that easily.

I have used a number of UC’s products but continue to use the Matte Pomade continuously. It has a great hold, no shine which is a huge plus. My hair is still flexible especially if during the day I need to touch it up or change the look a bit, I just add a bit of water on my hands and style to what I want.

It washes out completely when I shower at the end of the day leaving nothing behind. I couldn’t imagine being without this product. I forgot to pack it one time on a trip and I couldn’t find a shop that sold it in the area I was in and had to use a product that was recommended by a barber.

It cost more and it flat out sucked! I dealt with it for a week. Couldn’t wait to get home and toss it in the trash. Now I keep it in my to go grooming bag and never without it! I could go on, but I think you get the picture or should.

Over lockdown I grew my hair out like a lot of people and decided to go to for a traditional barber cut afterwards ending up with a slick back style. I found my existing hair products a bit lacking so decided to look into getting more professional (if you will) products.

After some research I liked the look of Uppercut’s products and also their brand ideals and after browsing their site settled on the Matte Pomade. Now that I’ve been using it for a while and figured out the best amount and application for my hair I’m really pleased with it.

It’s light and not too shiny giving my hair a natural look which I really like. It also washes out well with water meaning I don’t have to put my hair through shampooing every day but still working without making my hair greasy or limp a couple of days after shampooing.

I do find I need to hold the sides with some hairspray but that could be down to my hair or inexperience in styling longer hair (any plans for adding hairspray to your range?). Just on a side note, I was sent a really handy little guide with the product that gave scores out of 10 for hold and shine for all the styling products which was much more helpful than the info on the site in my opinion.

I think the guide being online would be a good idea. Very happy and will definitely be returning.

Uppercut products are choice. Top of the line, hands down. I’ve loved everything I’ve purchased from the brand. The deluxe pomade is no different. I use almost daily. Washes out and easily restyled. Competitively priced, although it’s worth whatever they decide to charge.

Plus, they stuck a free can of a new product I’ve never tried before in with my last purchase. Great company. Great products. Great service.

Great product! The pomade has a nice firm hold and last for the entire day. This was just what I was looking for in a pomade: clean, strong, firm hold for my hair with some sheen to it. Excellent product.

I have a traditional haircut, part to the side, and normal straight hair. Pomade keeps my hair looking sharp and well groomed throughout the day. I am very satisfied with the product and recommend it for use on a daily basis.

Used for the first time recently. Comparing to my old corded Wahl (with all metal construction), this one does feel a bit flimsy. The silver part on the main body keeps lifting up, which I have to keep pushing back in.

It feels like 50/50 plastic/metal construction. However, it cuts very well. The clips are very snug and it does not snag my hair while cutting. This one is a lot quieter than my old Wahl, so that’s a plus.

It comes with an organization case, which helps keep me from losing things. I do like that it’s cordless. Makes it much easier to cut mine and other people’s hair.

I am the official haircut and stylist in my family and to get cordless clippers is a real plus! No cord to trip over and no cord to step on. These clippers are unbelievably powerful and last me through 4 haircuts before having to charge them.

And they are quiet. I also love the guard case to keep all the accessories in and organized. The zippered case stores everything right in one case. I recommend these hair clippers to everyone.

The larger hair trimmer works great for haircuts, with more attachments than I can count. But since the packaging showed a man with a beard, and there’s a smaller trimmer included, I presumed it was also good for trimming beards.

Unfortunately, the many attachments don’t fit the small trimmer, and the big trimmer is too clunky to effectively sculpt my beard. So despite the relatively high price tag and the big bundle of attachments, it doesn’t provide a good option for beards.

Bought it as Philips offered a 100 day money back guarantee, so I could try it with no risk. I couldn’t find many reviews that discussed whether the product worked with different hair colour, so this is my review.

Legs and toes: I have shaved my legs for 40+ years, with dark thicker hair that was stubbly again within a day of shaving. After 1 treatment I could see hair was growing back sparsely and not as thick.

After 2 treatments my legs and toes were hair free. No stubble, amazing! Underarms: sparse light brown medium coarse hair which disappeared after 1 treatment Bikini line: 1 treatment saw a huge improvement and problem areas resolved after 2 treatments Face: Having suffered with PCOS I have noticeable facial hair, which is a mix of colours; dark (wiry), blonde (fine), white (wiry).

After 2 treatments my upper lip had very little re-growth. I had no white hairs there and it seems to have worked on the finer blond hairs and almost every dark hair after 5 treatments. The blonde hairs on my face have gone, but the very wiry dark and white hairs are still present.

I will persevere as I think the number of dark hairs is slowly reducing and possibly getting less wiry, but there is no effect whatsoever on white hairs (which I was expecting as per Philip’s guidance).

After one treatment a number of dark ingrown hairs on my chin started to grow normally which was a bonus. I also have very fine peach fuzz (blonde/almost white) which seems to be improved, but the jury is out on this as I have never treated it before, so it might just be a slow grower.

Conclusion – an amazing device, worth the money and I feel more feminine without hairy legs, toes and stubble. Easy to use but you do have to set time aside (takes me about 70 minutes to do half leg, underarm, bikini and face).

You also need to stick to a schedule, if you miss a treatment the instructions say you must start again.

I never write reviews but felt I needed to for this as I trawled through reviews for weeks trying to decide if I should go for it or not. I was sceptical at the start and didn’t think it would work but took the plunge anyway as I was so sick of shaving every day resulting in shaving rash, ingrown hairs and itchiness, especially on my bikini area.

I have quite pale skin and very light brown hair on my legs and underarms and dark hair on my bikini area. After the first session I didn’t notice any difference (you’re not supposed to) so I was worried I’d wasted my money.

However, after the second session I started seeing amazing results under my arms, I havent had to shave under my arms since the first session!! My bikini line was patchy but I could see the hairs were starting to fall out (I did a Hollywood as i wanted it all gone).

The hairs on my legs were definitely growing slower and finer. I have just finished my 4th session and I genuinely don’t need to shave anywhere at all!! There are maybe one or two hairs on my bikini area but that’s because I’ve missed them when using the lumea so i just need to go back over them.

I’m absolutely shocked, I really didn’t think it would work, never mind to the point I feel like I could throw my razor away and never use one again. It takes a while to do everywhere but it’s so worth the effort.

I used it on setting 4 as that was what the skin sensor suggested for my skin. It was mostly painless, however there were a few times when it felt like i was being twanged with an elastic band. But it wasn’t bad enough to say it was painful.

The lumea can get quite hot though so half way through I’d switch it off for a while to let it cool down as it was more comfortable to use. I’ve recommended this to all of my friends and family and I’m so happy I never have to shave or wax again and just have to top up with the lumea once a month.

So I thought I would review after a while of use. I bought mine in July 2020 and so have hit about 18 months since purchasing. I have dark hair and fair skin which is the ideal recommendation. The Phillips lumea although has definitely reduced my hair growth it no means has stopped it.

I followed the programme to a T doing it every 2 weeks for many months (which is more than the required) on the majority of my body. I have found my hair growth under my arms are significantly less however I still get growth there regularly and 18 months later am still doing it every 2 weeks not every few months as advertised.

I shave prior to use which is recommended and just don’t feel this gives you a hair free experience in the time recommended. My legs have also had a reduction in hair growth however again they are not hair free and the “touch ups” that they say may be needed every few months, I feel really are biweekly.

It is not quick to do either. It takes about 20-30 mins to do each leg and so to do your whole body it’s a full couple of hours so don’t think it’s quick like I thought when buying! Having said that, I do feel that the lumea has helped my hair reduction at much cheaper than salon experience.

I’ve purchased several Fresh Chic wigs, with vastly different degrees of satisfaction from one to another. My most recent purchase prompted me to write this review, to urge others to try on your wig as soon as you receive it.

I don’t normally do that, I just peek in the box to make sure it’s the correct item and color, but usually store my new wig in the box until I’m ready to swap out the old one for new. When I put the recent one on, I was disappointed to discover that the cap was huge! The wig is tagged as average, and it fits as usual on most of my head, but there’s an excessive amount of wefting on the right side of my head, above and behind my ear, that I can literally grab a handful of excess wig from the side of my head.

Unfortunately I’ve had this wig in the box in the closet for far too long to return it, and I decided to wear it, despite the major defect, which I’m sure is noticeable. Just a reminder to you all to try them on as soon as you get them! It sucks wasting a couple hundred bucks!.

This wig looks nothing like it is pictured online. And the color is not as described. I ordered the Sugared Charcoal which is supposed to be darkest brown with 50% silver grey, but it looks almost totally white, very little brown.

The style just sort of hangs there. In the video it looks great, but in reality, it is very limp. Perhaps I just got one that is not made as well as others because the two reviews I read were positive which is why I decided to order this one.

But I am very unhappy and I am returning it.
