I use it to create easy layers on myself and just even out my daughter’s hair. If you follow the video tutorials, it makes cutting hair so much easier and it looks very “neat” if you cut at the correct angle.

Just make sure that you’re cutting the right direction for the cut you want. If you’re doing it on yourself, you’ll have the ends of the clip pointed in a different direction than on someone else. The straight level one requires you to adjust the bubble and it can get rather confusing if you don’t follow the tutorial.

I almost skipped leaving this review entirely because I really love the L’Oreal brand and it sucks to leave them a bad review. That said, the Hair Care Advanced Hairstyle Sleek It Iron Straight Heat Spray product absolutely sucks.

It is not a wonder that it was on the shelf at the 99 Cents only store when I purchased it. The odor, though at first pleasant, is actually over-bearing at atrocious. The sprayer does not work properly, which is a huge issue when the product itself is unusually Slick (no wonder they call it “Sleek”), I nearly broke my neck slipping on my own floor due to more of the spray getting on the floor than on my hair.

If that hadn’t been so scary, I would have said it was a blessing though, because the part of the product that did get on my hair left my hair so unbelievably greasy I don’t know from where they call this “Sleek” but it absolutely did nothing to protect my hair from heat.

It did, however, grease it straight for a day, in combination with the iron. This product was scary, and trash. I gave up after a fourth of my head was done, and then I started perusing the internet to find out if I was the only person who felt this way.

Quickly I learned that I had given the spray more than a “fair spray”. Don’t waste your time. Strong pass.

I bleached my hair twice in three days and the second day of bleaching my hair it was completely fragile to the point where I literally did not want to brush it because every time I did hair and hair would fall off and I’m talking chunks of hair.

I immediately remembered about this product, because I had used it in the past and it had made wonders for me. This time it still came through for me, I bought the shampoo and conditioner along with the hair repair mask and like I said it didn’t disappoint me at all.

As soon as I washed my hair with it I was able to feel the difference, after brushing my hair my hairbrush would have little amount of hair. I have used it about 5-6 times since I’ve bleached it and my hair is starting to feel back to normal.

Honestly if it wasn’t for this I think my hair would have been super short by now because of all the breakage I had. I also would recommend you not washing your hair daily, allow 2-3 days in between each hair wash to let your hair rest but that’s only if your hair is as bad as mine was.

Keeps my 60 year old color treated red hair looking 20. LOVE IT! It makes your hair so silky and if I curl it, it takes the curl fine. Be carefully to use a slight mist since the product goes a long way.

It also can make vynil floors slick. I mist my hair now in small pumps or over a carleted area. This stuff is the best!.

This is an exact replacement for the same grooming tool my husband bought over 20 years ago that finally died of old age. The new one works fine. It was also less expensive than the original one. If this one lasts as long as his original Conair groomer it is a great investment in a quality groomer that might last for many years.

I bought this item to just do some light trimming. Upon receipt I read all the instructions and prepared the trimmer in accordance with those instructions. The trimmer ran very well–then I packed it away for several weeks.

Upon starting the trimmer again it ran for about 1 second. Haven’t been able to start it again. I followed all the instructions for potential solution but to no avail. According to Conair’s instructions I am to mail it back to them for repair/replacement and to include $5.

I am thinking that buying another brand would be better.

I have had at least 3 of these over many years & they have all been great. I primarily use it to trim my beard every week & the unit does a very good job. I wish that replacement blades were cheaper, because the electric razor seems to never wear out, but the blades are almost as expensive as a whole new unit.

The actual price of the kit has gone up over 50% since my first one, but so have most other shavers. If you oil the blade EVERY TIME you use the razor, the blade will last quite a while & getting a new unit every few years is really no big deal (even at the increased price).

I’ve been buzzing my own head for over 17 years now, and have owned a few other brands and model clippers. This is THE one to get for your lifetime. Yes, a bit more expensive than others, but when you take the time to find the right number attachment for you, this is simply bomb-proof.

Highly recommended! I personally liked the looks of the model 10 over the 76 – but mechanically, the same clippers. Do some simple math now that you are cutting your own (or family members) hair, and get the good stuff here.

I bought this hair straightener recently, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a hair straightener because my hair is straight normally. I like that this straightener has multiple heat settings. I find it works really well and it has a lock on the side when you aren’t using to prevent it from opening, this is great when travelling.

I would highly recommend as it’s a great price and works amazing. My hair looks shiny and healthy.

I read raving reviews for this Rose Gold Tres Sleek Flat Iron so I thought it would be amazing. My expectations were unfortunately a little too high as this flat iron fell short of what I thought it was going to be.

It looks great, it’s sleek, love the color but that’s where the love stops. A few annoyances I noticed right away after using this, you have to unplug it each time. My outlet is not in a convenient place, so I HATE you can’t just turn it off, you have to then unplug it.

If you don’t unplug it, the display stays on saying “OFF” on it, which is bright blue. When you unplug it, it resets the heat temp, so it’s annoying that I have to hit the heat button 10 times to crank it up to the highest temp since I have super thick hair.

The temp buttons are in the worst placement as you hit them while straightening your hair. I have to keep checking the temp to make sure I didn’t turn it down by accident or even turn it off as the off button is near by as well.

Now onto the performance. like I mentioned earlier, I have very thick hair. I have to go over my sections several times to get the desired straightness. I have used a lot of hair straighteners over the years and with the heat going up to 450* it sure under performs.

I’m highly disappointed with the performance. I felt I needed to write an honest review as the reviews I read on this flat iron are not close to the results I yielded. Perhaps this is great for thin hair, however, it does not work well for me.

My search continues for a great flat iron.

I love this flat iron so much. I can straighten my hair or curl it ! It’s so versatile to use and it’s also super cute looking. It gets hot super fast so you don’t have to wait very long. It’s definitely worth the price , makes your hair look like you just left the hair salon! Definitely a professional standard flat iron.

I love this flat iron. It feels very well made and sturdy, but not overly heavy in my opinion. The placement of the buttons is great because you won’t accidentally hit them while styling. I love the durable, extra long swivel cord.

I love the locking function that you can use to lock the plates even when it’s hot. It heats up very quickly. Although it gets hot all the way around the iron, I have found it easy to handle with the grips at the end, and haven’t burned myself.

It is also safe to set it on the counter because it has a little stand on it. I have a very short bob haircut and very fine, straight, color treated hair. I have been able to create beautiful curls with this iron.

I use a heat protectant spray and set the iron to 380, and it doesn’t fry my hair. I feel like the anti frizz function works extremely well. My friends have commented on how healthy my hair looks. I haven’t had the iron for very long, so I can’t speak to the longevity of it.

I hope it lasts a long time! As of now, I’m quite happy with it and would spend the money again.

I highly discourage purchasing this item. 1. Arrived in a non-branded smashed product box. Shipped inside a standard plastic shipping envelope. The fact the product box was not marked with manufacturer logo or other identifying info is very odd.

2. The product was to include a hot-temperature glove. It did not. 3. The on/off and /- temperature “buttons” (not actually buttons, more like miniscule slivers of metal) are not marked. One has to use trial and error to figure out which is which.

4. It snags hair with every single pass. The area where the two halves of each prong of the iron come together is not fully sealed. There is space where every time you bring the iron up to a section of hair to flatten, hair gets caught.

It hurts. And the hair breaks. 5. The heat isn’t sufficient to iron a cotton shirt. I’ve used $25 Conair flat irons that do a better job of smoothing out my hair than this brand and model. I’ve owned CHI and Hot Tools brands in the past; I should have just bought them this time.

Okay, so. I’ve been eyeing this flat iron for about two years now. I had a Chi iron for a long time that had started pulling and catching and breaking my hair with every pass. I finally pulled the trigger and purchased this one and OMG.

I’m so happy. This thing is amazing. It’s everything I thought it would be. For reference- I have real wavy hair – past my shoulders, not fine but not thick either, & always frizzy. This iron heats up nice and quick.

The cord is long and reinforced. I don’t accidentally turn it off while using it because the button placement is great. I don’t have to go over the same section endlessly – it’s so much faster to do my hair now.

Aside from straightening, it curls SO great. and I can do that fast now too! The only thing I wish was different? It doesn’t have an auto shutoff. I’m notoriously leaving my irons on, BUT I’ve gotten much better knowing that this one won’t turn off.

If you’re on the fence about this flat iron. just do it.

I don’t know what everyone is complaining about. I use this flat iron about once a week, between straightening or curling my hair. I love that the button is on the inside. I have problems with breakage so I’m glad it glides along my hair so easily.

I love the rubberized coating so it’s not slippery, and I travel a lot for work so the plastic end cover is a life saver when I have to straighten and pack everything up right away. Considering getting more for my family….

I used the Conair Home Haircutting Kit on my head and body to trim up and get rid of some hair. It is an easy product to use and I have similar products already that I use. It is clean and new which is better than what I have, but did the same job as my old faithful that is my go to.

If anything, it wasn’t as powerful and precise at getting through the thick parts without having to go back over many times to get the job done right. It is a 20 piece set, but you could get by with a 5 piece set and do away with all the junk they put in there that will never get used.

The 55 total settings seem a bit much for a do it yourself trim at home and the color code is easy but guys won’t spend the time worrying about that. I appreciate the product and will use it, and would recommend only for the right price point for a quick trim to get the job done at home as a backup if you are really serious about the cut.

The Conair Number Cut 20-Piece Haircut Kit has been a great addition to my collection of personal grooming tools. It works very well on my head, as well as my beard. I get a very smooth and even cut every time.

The one thing that really sets this set of clippers apart is the color coordinated guards. I have a hard time seeing those little numbers on the guards, but with this set I can just look for the color.

This makes life 1000 times easier especially for those of us that don’t have the same eyesight we used to. If you are looking for a quality set of clippers at a good price than you have found them with this set.

I am an older male. cut my own hair. have done so for many years. $20 for a simple haircut is RIDICULOUS! I have had and tried so many clippers over the years. All the top brands affordable ones. Most last 6 haircuts before having issues.

I bought these at Walmart 2 years ago. KNOWING for $11 they are disposable. Well 20 haircuts and 40 face hair groomings later. they are still working perfectly!! I am a pretty harsh reviewer. not easily impressed.

Even if I had paid $50 I would still say these are amazing and have out-performed every other clippes I have had. BY FAR! The fact they are only $11. they are one of the few things I have ever purchased that blows me away.

Not sure why others have had issues with theirs. hard to believe after what I have experienced. Mine are still sharp. honestly cut perfectly. Enough power that they have never bogged down. Never needed adjusting or cleaning.

just a dab of oil every now and then. I can’t suggest trying a set of these enough!!.

I really enjoy using this product. I’m a novice, and this kit makes it really easy to cut my hair. It comes with full proof guards for the clippers and oil to keep the blades fresh so they don’t wear.

I’ll eventually upgrade to a more sophisticated product as my skills improve, but, for now, this set works great. I would definitely recommend it to someone who wants to start cutting their own hair or just refresh their cut in-between hair appointments.

My boyfriend bought these for me to cut his hair. It was an awful experience to say the least. It took nearly 30 minutes to cut his hair because it kept clogging up. The biggest problem was that the teeth were breaking off while I was using it and it scratched up his head and neck.

So upset with this product that we threw it away immediately. Cheap and painful.

Recently purchased online from wm. Upon very first use doing some hair cutting, clipper body became extremely warm (almost hot) in hand under 10 minutes. Unplugged and let appliance rest a bit before resuming again to finish haircut.

Clippers also exibit plenty of vibration during operation as well. Promptly returned this model & up-graded to a newer more efficient type. My product rating is solely directed at the cutting appliance itself.

All other accessories included in kit were just fine, and had zero effect on reduced clipper function. I do however, own 2 beard trimmers (battery + electric) by “Conair” which perform very well for me & like alot !.

I love these products, I have four boys and I cut there hair I am not good at it but I do cut there hair at a 2 or 3 and attemp to fade it. It does help alot with the different clips and the machines are great.

My boys hair are so think they do mess up the blades on the machines but I do like the self sharpening blades. I do trust this product and recommend.

Like so many people enduring the hardships due to the coronavirus, I needed to cut my hair. This product performed very well. My wife had never cut hair before, but she did a great job. Let it be said though, my barber’s job is safe once the coronavirus is history.

I love all of these L’Oreal products. I use three of them as recommended by L’Oreal. I use this product for my “shampoo”. (Note: Never use real shampoo). I bought a foaming pump dispensor for some product, emptied the bottle of soap, and use the foaming pump bottle for my “shampoo” bottle.

Works great! There’s another product that L’Oreal recomends adding to this product. This is listed on the bsck of the bottle. I add that product into the “shampoo” mix. Shake well before using. I am a male with long hair.

Using these two products, plus the leave in conditioner product, gives me beautiful curls. I am 65, BTW. I love these products and always use them.

So, I bought this on a whim, right before a long trip because I’ve been wanting a good heat protector when I blow dry and straighten my hair. I think I may have used waaaay too much because my hair was sticky after blow dying it 😭.

My hubby and I were going out to a nice dinner and I had no time to rewash it, girl, I was sooooo pissed lol. I had to spray a bunch of dry shampoo in it because it was so sticky and looked like it was 1 week old.

I’m hesitant to use it again and I can’t return it because I threw away my receipt arrrrrg. Lordy. I’ll give it one more shot, because I do feel like I may have overdone the spraying. This time I’ll use veeeery little and we’ll see how that turns out.

I love this thing. Doesn’t pull my hair. Gets hot fast. Covers the perfect amount of hair in one pull. The only thing I’ve noticed is the blue on the edges of the plates is now black as if the color has been burned off.

For the price, I expected this to stay looking new considering I use it 1-2 times monthly!.

I had this same exact product before, (purchased at Ulta previously) and this one I received through Walmart felt like a cheap knockoff. It felt like cheap plastic, rather than good sturdy material like my previous one.

The edges of the were not smoothed out and there was plastic sticking out making rough edges everywhere. The actual blades also had stuff (maybe glue?) all over them that I had to scrape off before using.

Worst of all, when I did try it out, it snagged and ripped my hair horribly. Also never got very hot even though it has different heat settings. Would not waste your money on this one. Spend the extra few dollars to get a better quality straightener that won’t damage and ruin your hair.

I am so IN LOVE with this Brazilian Yaki Straight. It is the perfect match to my hair texture and color. It does not shed or tangle. I loved it soo much, I bought a second batch with the first batch still installed in my hair.

I have had this in for about 7 weeks and washed it 3 times so far. I have to take it out soon because the tracks are getting loose, but i will definitely be able to reuse this same piece again. I bought this product 1 week ago and I absolutely love it. I have curly hair and use it naturally (no blow dry) but sometimes it gets very hard to style it and getting rid of the frizz. I tried a couple of other product but they all left my hair crunchy, which I hate.

I have straight fine hair and this gave me so much body without trying! I spray it in my damp and braid into pig tails and let it dry almost all the way! So cute

These scissors work perfectly for clipping the hair between and around our dogs’ toes. We have 4 small Chihuahuas, three of whom have hair that grows over their pads. This makes slippery walking for them.

These little scissors are just the right size for clipping their toe hair. They are very sharp, and the rounded tip makes them so safe to use. Finger holes are 5/8″ x 7/8 in. Not sure a man’s fingers would fit in them, but the average woman’s fingers would.

I found them comfortable to use.

Excellent shears; these cut my dog’s fine hair so easily and seamlessly. I owned a previous pair from another brand (Martha Stewart) and they cut very choppily. These make blending clipper lines so easy.

Make sure you use the correct number of teeth for your dog’s hair type though. These are for dogs with fine hair.

I hope they stay as sharp as they are today. They are wonderful. Chewy is the best thing ever to happen to people who own dogs. I am old but I really enjoy my animals. All of them and with the ability to order and it come to the door is just amazing.

After nearly a decade of replacing cheaper clipper sets every 2-3 years I finally decided to purchase a more expensive set. I’m glad I did! Even if they only last as long as cheaper ones, there’s a handful of things I’m happy to pay the higher price for.

If it matters, I cut my own hair, and have for as long as I can remember, so my feedback is from that context. I don’t cut anyone else’s hair, and I tend to cut more frequently (every 5-6 days) so that I only need minor touch-ups vs.

having to commit to an entire cut. Here’s what I like about these vs. cheaper sets I’ve used in the past: 1. Better/stronger motor. Part of why I replaced cheaper sets so often is b/c they’d eventually start pulling my hair, regardless of proper blade oiling and sharpening.

I immediately felt a difference in how much smoother these cut, especially during faster movements. 2. Stronger, smoother closed & open guard adjustment – feels far more assured than what I’m used to on cheaper sets.

No matter how small or large the adjustment, the gaurd stays in place once adjusted. 3. Guard combs that stay in place, finally! On cheaper Wahl clippers I always had to worry about guard combs coming off b/c that happened every so often.

The guard combs in this set snap on much firmer and have stayed in place extremely well. 4. 1/2 and 1 & 1/2 guards are included. These allow more flexibility and safety when blending fades. In my case, I’m spending much less time going back and forth between the 0, 1, and 2 gaurds – the half guards hit the mid points much better and faster.

AG everything! I will forever use AG products for my hair. They leave my hair soft, smooth and shiny. My hair never looks greasy or oily after use of these products. I highly recommend them, tried most all of their hair are line-up.

The purple shampoo is a winner too.

I used a small amount. One pump. I have a Gold Tools round brush dryer (the smaller one). I started on low heat and my hair went dry looking and frizzy immediately! Tried smoothing it a bit more, but it just didn’t look nice.

I ended up using my GHD straighteners and a bit of Rusk shine to smooth it. There doesn’t seem to be any build-up and it feels light, but I don’t like the smell (very weird) and was hoping to be able to just use a blow dryer for straightening.

I bought their Colour Shampoo/Conditioner and Mask which are all lovely, but I was a bit shocked when I used this! I’ll return it when the stores open again.

I bought this for straightening my hair, but it didn’t have enough moisture for that. One day in a pinch I used this in an effort to tame and smooth my curls AFTER I dried my hair. and it was fabulous! No buildup and no grease.

just smooth curls. I know staff said do not use on dry hair. but this is awesome for me! Love it. Have a bottle of it at home and one in my desk in the office. I use this. lightly pull through curls.

wait till it dries and squeeze with a paper towel to take off the wet/shiny look. and voila. smooth frizz free curls. it even reactivates with water for a touch up. Love this product.

Ive used this set once and it worked well! I used it on a grown man. The wrap fit around him perfectly (6’1 – a little ocer 200 lbs for reference if needed). I think the wrap is designed for adult size necks but i am sure you could try to pin it or possibly tie it tighter for a child.

The clips and scissors worked well. the long comb had a few brissle pieces that were bent weird so all the hair didnt comb though perfectly but overall a good purchase and i would buy it again. Its just auper convenient to be able to get it all together for a good price.
