10 Best Cuts For Oval Face (2023 Updated)

This is one of the products now produced in Spain rather than the original site in Sweden. This is the second Spanish produced tool I have bought and I was unimpressed with both. The original 8140 cutter (which I also possess) was a ‘Flush Cut’ item.

This 8140 cutter is now described as ‘Micro Bevel’, the flush cut cutter is now 8141. I purchased an 8141 cutter from the same supplier and it is of excellent quality. I have been using Lindstrom Tools for over 50 years and am disappointed at the reduction in quality since production moved to Spain.

I am a scale modeler, Ive been at the hobby for 30 years. I had a pair of side cutters like these that Ive used for close to 15 years as sprue cutters but they were made but Sandvik. Worked beautifully but I figured Id retire them.

These are the same exact item albeit a little sharper than the Sandvik cutter that I rescued from the trash. LOL If used for scale modeling, these cutters leave a small nib that you need to sand off which is no big deal.

They fit in the hand nicely and don’t require much effort to cut at all. Highly recommended.

These 8148 pliers are new as advertised but i just opened them up and used them. They are far inferior to the old pair i purchased used some years ago. They do not cut flush like they should, the cutting edges do not align perfectly! I would guess they are rejects and thus sold cheaper.

Would reccomend this to a friend. Quality is great. It came ontime also. As always, Walmart came through again.

Bought this item because it was on sale and I wanted to include oval shapes to my die collection. Very useful for my card-making.

I have a decent collection of Non-stick, stainless steel, and cast iron cookware. My experience (there are exceptions to this rule) is that you get what you pay for. My cookware consists of All-Clad, Mauviel, and Le Creuset.

I was a little disappointed in the non-stick pieces I own with the exception of the Mauviel products but had read enough reviews on Swiss Diamond to try the 9. 5″ with lid. 1 – this has a good heft/weight it feels like you didn’t buy something inconsequential and that weight is accompanied by a great handle, easily the best on any product I own.

2 – the base does a great job of transferring heat and the instruction book will tell you to keep from using “high” heat settings on it. You won’t need high, ever. I’ve not used anything above “medium” settings and can easily sear anything at this level.

3 – they should promote the lid more than they do. I really didn’t realize that it has a vent feature built into the handle at the center of the lid. This comes in handy if you’d like to see some reduction of the consistency (liquid) of what you’re preparing and it’s adjustable.

4 – too early for me to comment on its longevity but Swiss Diamond has a Warranty for the Lifetime of the product with certain caveats, you can’t be using steel utensils, nor metallic scrub brushes, etc.

Read the warranty and keep metal out of your pan, IMO. I can easily wipe out the pan with a paper towel and then wash it by hand and it looks like it will last a long time. I’ll be buying a saucepan next to see how that works out.

I’m buying the HD Induction models – I’ve been using the skillet daily for only 2 weeks, so I can only base this review on that experience. 5 stars, easily!.

Don’t buy any Swiss Diamond products. I am one to usually give positive reviews but I’ve had a lot of trouble with Swiss Diamond as a company and the low quality of their products. I cook at home quite a bit and use this pan every day, sometimes twice per day.

I take great care of my kitchen tools and never put them in the dishwasher, always wash with soft sponge by hand, etc. This product, after less than 1 year of consistent use, has completely failed. There is no “nonstick” coating left and absolutely everything adheres to it now.

I contacted the company (twice) to activate the warranty that they offer, and after 12 weeks of consistently being a squeaky wheel, they finally “reached a decision” and decided that the warranty would not be upheld because it looked as though I was misusing the pan by constantly having it on high heat, which damaged the surface.

I don’t cook in this manner and know better in regard to how nonstick products should be handled. This was just an excuse to save money avoid sending me a replacement. In my opinion, it seems that they advertise that they have a warranty, but first red flag is it’s near impossible to get a hold of them.

Then, they deny claims based on what they see in a picture (I had to submit pictures of the pan) with the consumer having no recourse. I felt that this was an inaccurate and disingenuine denial of my claim to avoid taking responsibility.

Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a quality product.

This is my 3nd purchase of the same pan. I use the pan 1 to 2 times a day. I have had both the “regular” HD and the XD. Spend the extra money and get the XD, it is worth it. It is more durable and will last longer.

Don’t heat above 60% and use plastic. The very latest model have a much thicker bottom, which works well. Be aware, it does produce a little high pitch humming when used on an induction appliance. The previous model did not.

Web site states it does not. It is wrong. The manual that come with the pan states that the pan will produce a hum. It is frustrating that Swiss Diamonds web site is so out of date. Pictures etc. The labeling (models, etc.

) on the boxes shipped vs the website do not match, which can be confusing. It is not a deep fry pan, however it has the most flat area of a 10 inch fry pan, with allows me to cook a lot of food vs. other 10 in.

pans. The top that can be purchased with the pan works great. The top has lasted through all 3 of my pans (~10 yrs). The non-stick is fantastic. Eggs will not stick (with NO oil) for well over a year.

Read the instructions to learn now to maintain the pan. I know the pan is $150, however, you can see all the frustration of people buying pan after pan trying to find a “true & real” non-stick pan, this pan is truly non-stick.

I cook eggs every day in it, with NO oil, and they don’t stick for a couple of years. With this pan, I am going to be more careful with cleaning, utensils, and heat. All the best.

I love the box of avaiator lovers sunglasses! Three pairs of small fitting sunglasses for an amazing price! The best part besides the style is the fit. I have a small nose and small face and these glasses are perfect.

The only thing I would suggest adding is a hard case for traveling. I like to travel with more than one pair and the soft sleeve case might not give enough protection in some situations. The box they came in is great for keeping them organized and protected at home.

I love these too much to break them. I highly recommend them and would absolutely buy them again.

My fiancé picked out this ring, which I absolutely love the style/design. The ring was beautiful at first, but now after about 18 months of wearing it, the “diamond” looks extremely dull and does not sparkle.

It looks awful to be honest. I’ve cleaned it gently with dish soap and warm water, which helps for about 24 hours but then it looks bad again. I’m beginning to be very disappointed in the quality of this ring sadly.

Our wedding day is in October and I feel a little embarrassed to wear it because of how full it looks. Again, it was beautiful at first, but definitely has lost it’s sparkle. I don’t recommend for long term.

I got the 2. 40 center Diamond and I was concerned that it might be to big and look fake but I’m so glad I did get the big one because with the wedding band it looks perfect and not at all to big or anything less than a beautiful huge Diamond.

The ring came in perfect condition, nicely packaged, and is beautiful. The problem I have is with the company they use to finance. I took advantage of their zero finance offer which I have recently discovered is through TD Bank.

I ordered the ring in March, yet never received a statement. Made a concerned call to James Allen in mid-May, and was informed to call TD Bank, who handles their financing, as I can’t register online due to never receiving a statement with an account number.

When calling TD Bank, their automated phone service is very choppy, tried from multiple phones from my business to my cell, and all are equally choppy, and their call wait times are 4+ hours. I’ve had my phone running on hold all day and yet to get a pick-up, just to obtain an account number.

So while the ring is amazing, this financing experience has really ruined this process for me.

I love my new ring! I admittedly did not shop around at all (so I cannot honestly comment on the price compared with similar products) but I can tell you that this ring is gorgeous and the diamonds appear to be high quality.

I love stacking it with my other rose gold bands. If you are on the fence about ordering, I do not think you will regret it (especially with the free returns). The only negative I can think of is that the engraving on the inside of the band is super tiny, very hard to read.

The stone in the Color My World ring is okay. The stones in the Gypsy ring are actually quite nice, especially for the price I paid. This ring though, is spectacular. The pear cut gives it a very unique look and it sparkles like crazy.

78 lab created diamond. I think it’s the perfect metal to diamond ratio. The pictures really don’t do it justice; they make it look more squat than it is in person. In reality, the leaves are much more dainty, making it look like a beautiful blooming flower (which is exactly what I wanted).
