I love this beef jerky. The meat is very moist, tender and delicious. Also, it has the perfect amount of seasoning too. It’s marinated just right. I’ve tried a couple brands, but this one is definitely in my rotation that I always like to keep stocked up.

Some brands are really not good and the meat is soo dry. This one is the exact opposite and is excellent. .

I’ve always liked jerky, but sometimes the pieces are just tooooo tough. I usually buy turkey or pork jerky, I’ve never really cared for beef or beef jerky, but my son bought it just to try it and offered me a piece.

It was love at first bite! This beef is SO tender, it reminds me of cube steak. It’s a little bit spicy, but I never noticed the red pepper flakes until I was almost done with the bag, and I dont like spicy foods.

It’s deliciously seasoned and not overpowering with a salty taste. It just taste really good. All these reasons are why I’ll buy it again, but the word that I use most often when talking about it is tender, so I guess thats the most impressive feature to me, it’s incredibly tender.

Horrible taste, outdated product that had expired before getting to me. Jerky should have a “best buy date” of several years, but the product I received, that was not the case. Hopefully, when I order more, it will be a fresh batch.

These guys are awesome!! I had bought a bag of beef jerky, it wasn’t too good. I reached out to them, letting them know the issue. They were super kind, attentive, and understanding. Not only did they do more than re-embursed me for my beef jerky.

They sent a kind, hand written letter, apologizing for the minor issue. Not only did they refund me, but they took time out of their day to write that. I can’t think of a single company that I’ve encountered, that cared this much about their coustomers and their experience.

I’ve had thier beef jerky many times before, and never had an issue. Things are bound to happen, because nothing is 100% perfect. What matters is that the issue was resolved in more than a professional manner.

These guys are the best, and will have a forever coustomer.

I’ve never had a bad meat stick before. This is the grossest meat stick I’ve ever had the displeasure of tasting. The taste is worse then the dog food factory in town smells. I went to call the customer service number about it and it’s no longer in service.

Looks like the company is out of business now. Seems fitting for the vile substances they try to pass off as food stuffs. Good riddance!.

Paid $20 for this 9oz bag. Took 3 bites and gave the rest to my dog. Overpriced and disgusting is the best way to describe this “jerky”. BTW it’s not jerky. It’s mushy meat in a bag. Makes me puke

I’ve been buying People’s Choice Beef Jerky for over twenty years now. I even got my kids hooked on it too! It’s delicious, the flavor is great, but most of all I love the cut of the Classic style jerky.

I’ve tried multiple flavors, really enjoy the Tasting Kitchen; but our favorites are Teriyaki and Original. We easily go through eight bags a month! Sometimes I eat a slab as a meal, great protein and it’s filling.

Over these twenty years there are two criticisms I have, though one is very slight. So we’ve noticed that no two bags ever taste exactly the same. This is not good of you really love the flavor of one bag, but it’s also a really good thing because you know that these are hand made, fresh batches.

Not the dried up mass produced garbage you get a big box stores. My second critique, well, it just saddens me. When I first bought their jerky it was sold by the pound and almost every slice was cut identically in size.

Now they sell it by the slab, and while you are still getting the same number of slabs, I’ve literally had ‘slabs’ that were HALF the size of what the originals were from 20 years ago. Now I can understand rising costs, trying to balance cost-to-profit while still providing a good product.

In the end though that means less jerky in the bag which means less jerky in my belly! And that is just tragic, because it’s oh so good!!.

The flavor of this beef jerky is wonderful: slightly sweet with a nice, spicy heat bringing it home. It’s dry, as jerky should be, and not sticky or rubbery like the substandard garbage produced by most jerky makers.

But, you lost us on texture. The huge slabs are unique and a fun idea, but they’re extremely difficult to bite into and chew. Trying to tear off pieces with my teeth actually made my mouth and teeth ache, so I have to use scissors to cut the slabs into bite-size pieces just to manage.

I’ll be working through this pound bag alone, because my husband really dislikes the texture. He compared it to plastic and says it’s like chewing on a milk jug. Unfortunately, that’s pretty accurate.

Once my fondest memories of my childhood was going to the corner store and getting his these HUGE slabs cuts of my FAVORITE teriyaki beef jerky. It was a tradition of sorts: waiting in line, asking the guy for a jerky and looking at the selection in the plastic case wondering which one was the best! I only had a few seconds to choose and I always went for the shiniest looking slabs hoping they locked in that oh so precious teriyaki flavor I adored.

No matter which I choose, however, I was ALWAYS satisfied with my jerky. Time went on and I moved away from that corner store. But I always held onto this childhood dream of having a stack of teriyaki slabs.

ALL TO MYSELF! I would occasionally run into “imitation” jerky slabs but NOTHING ever tasted like the teriyaki slabs from the corner store. UNTIL I FOUND PEOPLE’S CHOICE! These are the EXACT slabs I remember from the corner store and I am back there again.

This is a good low calorie stack. I like to eat it as a snack and/or a meal replacement. I had gastric sleeve surgery it makes a good meal replacement and helps fill my protein needs. I also like to cut it up into small bites to use as dog treats.

I know my dogs are a bit spoiled getting this jerky for there treats but most dog treats are full of crap that not healthy. Also alot of dog treats give my dogs the poops or they puke Because of them.

At least i know what is in these meat treats. My dogs love them for there treats. And they dont mess with my dogs.

Excellent product but not worth the price. These are snacks that you go through fast and the cost is way too high. I would be apt to get them on a fairly regular basis probably even in a pantry order if they weren’t so expensive.

There are so many other snacks available out there that cost a lot less so a person would be apt to order them on a regular basis before ordering these on a regular basis. I hope they reconsider the pricing in the future.

Love beef sticks. They have the perfect meat taste. Pros they taste delicious. Only con is they can get stuck in my teeth lol. Not really needs to be improved. They are great nothing disappointing about them.

I recommended them to anyone. However watch out animals love them also.

Jack Link’s my go to if Krave products aren’t available to me. I only give the peppered beef jerky four stars because of the preservatives and for the cheaper price point I’d except at least ten peices.

Depending on the bag size in ounces it can vary from eight to fifteen peices. With these I buy the bag according per cent to last for a road trip or flying when I could.

This is the best overall store-bought jerky I’ve found so far. It’s tender and not too dry. However, I feel like it’s a bit on the expensive side. It’s a great snack for work. Healthy in some ways, but super high in sodium.

I recommend trying it of you’re looking for jerky that’s not super dry and tough.

Someone gave me a sample of the prime rib flavor and it’s so good! I like it better than regular beef jerky! It’s a tasty, fat free snack! I actually ordered 4 full bags online yesterday. I recommend to try and you may switch from slim jims, or beef jerky to this!.

This jerky is very tender and flavorful. It is spicy so if you’re sensitive might try a different flavor in this same brand. I would buy again. It is a tad high on carbs and does have cane sugar. But good in a pinch.

I was so looking forward to trying the Bacon Jerky – Maple flavor. The taste did not disappoint!! What was a big disappointment was the consistency of the jerky. It was too soft, flimsy. not crispy at all.

This consistency allowed for the fat to really be noticeable. I ended up throwing away 1/4 of the bag because it was pure fat. I like my bacon crispy and this was not crispy at all which is ok as long as it did not have as much fat as it did.

I had some packs with good-sized pieces, and other packs with lots of little shavings, which was a little disappointing, but it was still just as tasty, and enjoyable. Really held off buying these over a year for the horrible reviews. But I finally decided to take a chance. I wasnt impressed with the small amount in each pack but the taste was about what I expected or comparable to their other jerky.

Still so nervous trying them after reading all these reviews!! We really needed protein being shut in without ability to drive to the store so it was the best option I could find. It seemed decent but I only got one pack, so I went to order another couple packs for family to try and tell me what they think.

Little pieces dont bother us but quality meat, handled with love and upmost cleanliness are paramount. Another plus would be local meat without hormones or full of antibiotics etc. As organic and natural as possible is best.

Not tender. Not tender at all. I usually go for Jack Link’s Sweet and Hot flavor. But I decided to try something different today. Don’t want to get tired of a favorite, right? I thought I would try this one, because the best pieces of the Sweet and Hot flavor are the softest, tenderest pieces.

I thought this bag would be full of that texture — just nice, soft pieces. I was so wrong. It is not *bad* jerky. But tender, it is not. It is, in fact, tougher than their normal jerky! Very chewy, and prone to sticking in your teeth.

And overly salty/smoky, too — like it was cooked down too much and got too intense in flavor. I don’t expect Jack Link’s to be premium, or anything. Just a good, reliable jerky for a good price. If it wasn’t marketed as being Extra Tender, I would have just thought of it as being an okay jerky — not one I liked enough to get again, but not one I would toss either.

But the fact that it is supposed to be Extra Tender leads to Extra Disappointment.

If you read any of my reviews, you will see they all point to my daughter’s taste. This is no exception. I don’t know where she first had beef jerky, but she shocked me when she asked me to buy it for her.

I have never tried something like this, I totally loved it. It has a great flavor of Teriyaki sauce, I could say that the flavor is a little strong but it is rich and very pleasant. In addition, the texture of the meat is soft and delicious.

This thin cut is the best beef jerky! If you prefer thin cut, you have to try this one!!

This is great jerky. The flavors pop, and it’s super moist. I know the point of beef jerky is that it’s dried meat, but some jerky is just too dry, it’s hard to bite off and chew, and it’s like burnt cardboard.

The consistency of this is perfect, and it’s delicious. It also shipped and arrived very quickly.

Very good jerky! Great splurge from Etsy. One thing- it was all very sweet, even the tequila lime flavor, if you want flavor variety this might not be for you. Still good- just the same sweet-forward flavor in all separate flavors.
