20 Best Curtains For Small Windows (2023 Updated)

I purchased several pairs Ombre sheer Curtains, panels and valances and wish I had purchased more. The quality was excellent, the color was beautiful and the way the sets look hanging in my bay window is more than I could have hoped for.

They changed the look of the entire room from drab to eye opening. And the cost was well within my budget. I will definitely be buying from Swags Galore whenever I need to update my window dressings.

I absolutely LOVE these curtains. They are light weight and let in a lot of light while cutting direct glare. They look different than in the pictures, with the colors fading into one another. The intensity of the color depends on the amount of light.

Some panels do have extra loose threads and you have to watch that the length is even. One curtain had a small white spot (about the size of a pencil eraser) that might have been a bubble in the dye, and a couple are not perfectly level on the very end.

But I really like these curtains and have already received many compliments on them. I bought a total of six panels in two different colors and have overall been extremely satisfied with how they look!.

I purchased these to replace a set a purchased YEARS ago. Only now the style is a little different and the colors a little more bold. They still look beautiful. I purchased two panels and a scarf.

I love these white curtain panels. I originally purchased them for my bedroom and liked them so much that I bought some more for my home office and my dining room. I love the pattern – at certain times of day, the light reflects the pattern on the walls and floor of my room.

As an added bonus, they are easy to care for and come out of the package wrinkle free and ready to hang. Great price as well.

Boscov’s has always been my favorite place to buy window dressings. Having not been out to the store in quite some time, I took a gamble on these. I usually like to see curtains and such in person before purchasing, but the internet was my only option this time around.

The Lyric sheers are the perfect addition in our living room. They are stunning in person and provide the right amount of softness to our space. The fabric has a lovely two-tone color effect in grey/silver, which provides depth and a bit of drama to the overall look of the room.

I ordered plain sheers, to match my bow window, and got the Lyric rod pocket panels in error. Loved them so much, I order more for my bow window. Very good quality, and the pattern is very nice. I used two 50″ wide panels on a 36″ window and I can still see outside if anyone is walking by or coming to my front door, but its not easy when you are outside trying to look in, so good privacy.

I Just love them.

I’m attempting to get this returned because instead of being a neutral creamy beige, it has a very green tone and clashes with the mint in the room.

Found these curtains for half the price I saw on another website. Curtains came fast. And we’re beautiful

Good quality fabric in a subtle print. Even though the pattern is large, the curtains blend in well with my simple drapes. Great price for two well made panels.

Ordered two – single curtain panels for a 6′ window; also ordered 2 matching valances. Colors perfect-called platinum, but greenish. I am very pleased with this order.

I like the Crochet Kitchen Tier Curtains but find I have to buy another pair to give more fullness to the window I am using. My window is 46″ wide and this tier curtain is 58″ which only gives me 12″ to work with.

It looks ok but with more fullness I think it will look better. I did wash it and dry it even though it is advised not to use the dryer it still came out nicely and had no wrinkles if removed from dryer after 15 minutes.

When I took my curtains out of the package there were long threads along all of the smaller inserts and when I trimmed them I noticed there wasn’t much holding them together. Within just a few weeks they were falling apart.

It’s a shame because they looked pretty, provided you didn’t look too closely but they’re a mess now. I’ve stitched them back together the best I could to keep curtains on the window while I shop for replacements.

I wasn’t expecting a lot from these curtains because they were so inexpensive but I expected them to last longer than 2 months!. Don’t waste your money! These are NOT a bargain!.

It took me a month to find the right curtains. Ones that I had looked at online for a LOT more money were not what I wanted. I looked at wal mart online thinking it was stretch to think u would have what I wanted.

I was surprised and shocked when I saw the curtains that really excited me. They were perfect for my kitchen which I had recently remodeled. They came much faster than had been expected. I ironed and hung them immediately.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these curtains. I could not have done any better for 3 times the price, and believe me, I had looked at VERY expensive curtains. Thank you Wal Mart!!!!.

I bought 4 panels of these drapes thinking I would be able to do two windows. I did the same with another style/print in a previous purchase and they were great. These drapes have very thin fabric. They didn’t look right until I added the additional panels that I bought for the second window.

I do really like the print and color, which went well in my newly painted living room. But I am advising anyone who wants to cover a 35 inch wide window to buy 4 panels. And these aren’t inexpensive drapes.

I’d rate the fabric very low quality.

I received these curtains as a gift and had always wanted a set, ever since first seeing them at Country Curtains. They look lovely in my bedroom. The fabric was much lighter weight than I expected though.

They would drape better if they were lined or of a heavier fabric. I hung them up right out of the package but ended up having to take them down to iron them as the creases and folds never relaxed out.

Again, if they were heavier I don’t think ironing would have been required. I also wish they were a wee bit wider to improve the drape. I bought two to cover each window but they could stand to be wider/fuller.

Overall I am happy with them and would recommend them, but wish they were available lined.

I love the Essex toile pattern. I purchased several valances, tie up and swags. I had intended to use this curtain in a room open to my kitchen ( where the other toile curtains are). However even squeezing the curtain on the rod ( also purchased from you) it wasn’t going to work.

Mixed review, good quality swags, tie ups, curtain not so much for me.

I did a random, very out-of-place purchase a few weeks ago. It’s the typical Northwoods picture. Deer, moose, bears. I thought oh man, curtains really gotta go! I love the rug. Got these curtains in as soon as they were delivered! Now, besides rug, the curtains were excellent colors matching! I thought I was in clearance, but even not, they’re worth more!!! Happy, happy,happy!!!.

I bought these for my kitchen, bathroom, laundry and basement windows. I had used them previously in another residence and love the colors. And yes they are rather transparent when the light shines through them.

But if you sew two panels together along the seams over and under where the curtain rod goes, it works perfectly to block out enough light without making the room too dark. They are a perfect addition to my home.

I already had the tablecloth (dining room table), table runner (use on top of my piano also located in dining room), and placemats (used on kitchen table) with the same “Tuscan” print that I purchased from my local Wal*Mart.

I figured I’d buy the valances for my living room to coordinate with the other rooms. I had to order them from Wal*Mart because they were no longer carrried in my local store. I noticed when I received them that the print was very similar, except the colors were a muted version of the items I already had.

I ordered these curtains and only needed the valances. I wish you could just get the valance, but I did make use of some of the leftover curtain panels. I made some accent pillows and a runner for my TV stand.

The curtains do not have a liner so they are thin. It was ok for me because I have a white sheer curtain underneath the valances. The one picture has one of the accent pillows on top of my tablecloth so that you can see how the colors are muted a bit.

This was the reason for 4 stars, instead of 5.

They blackout and are heavy. The pictures look much prettier than the curtains do. They look much brighter and shinier online. Up close they look like old denim jeans (I pray they are reused denim jeans otherwise they should be).

I read the description before ordering and I must have missed one word “matte”. From far back they are super boring, but not as ugly!! Not what I was looking for in very expensive curtains but I guess I will learn.

I’m not taking them down to try and return during Covid. Otherwise I would!.

Florida man here. These will not block direct sunlight completely but combined with the blinds I have underneath they do block light from getting in through the little slits/gaps and will give me a completely dark room when I have the curtains drawn and blinds closed.

The colour is vibrant and a little lighter than how it appeared in the picture but very nice. They were light enough to be hung on a cheap plastic that is not screwed into the wall. The material feels nice but did have a bit of wrinkles and need ironing to look perfect.

Very satisfied with these for the price.

Simple, cotton cafe curtain – just what I wanted. Not too frilly, nice tucking on the bottom. Can run the rod thru top hem or just below if you want it shorter. Definitely would buy again.

Light weight, allows light through but provides privacy. A good blend of cotton and polyester. I was able to iron the curtains (they were pretty creased from shipping). I like the feel of the fabric.

Not elegant or fancy but a nice look for our kitchen window.

These curtains are great; fantastic price! I am using them for my kitchen window, which is a little wide, so I purchased 2 pairs. I am so pleased that these curtains are offered on-line (because they are not available in the stores).

They fit perfectly for the window. Very simple design.

If not for a few hanging threads (easily trimmed) these would be perfect. Wanted to add a little elegance to the room without looking to touch me not and these curtains are great. The light filtering is perfect.

I love this window curtain set and small flower stitching on the valances, and inside of the curtains. I owe two sets in blue , also in grey. The material is excellent material that is very durable. It can be washed in washer and placed in dry then hung up.

I am putting these curtains up in my living room after we have new carpet put down. I love the blue color, love the feel of the material and really love the dainty flowers on the panels & valance. I had purchase a burgundy set 2 years ago from another was so happy to find that your comany stocks these curtains in many different colors.

I plan to purchase another set in a different color.

I got these to replace the curtains in out living room. I been slowly redecorating and paint out house and have been on the hunt for curtains that would go great with the new color of our livingroom walls.

These gray curtains match perfectly with the deep red color of our walls. They are completely sheer but also not like black out curtains. They allow a little light to come into the house but not so much that it causes glares on the T.

V. or anything. The seem to be pretty durable and will last a while.

I was super excited to receive gray panel! I read really great reviews about Herschel. Upon opening the hem was not stitched properly and I couldn’t hang it. The curtain is super shear and very flimsy.

Disappointed to say the least. I know this sometimes happens in manufacturing so I’m not going to hold the company at fault. I believe I just received a rejected panel by accident. I will try Herschel again.

I got these grey curtains to help keep out most of the sunlight during the days i need to sleep. I work nights and sleep when i get home in the morning, and these curtains help out 100% to keeping the sun out of my room.

This way i can fall asleep with no issues because of the sun. I definitely recommend these curtains for anyone wanting to have control on the amount of sunlight coming into there home. Not only do they work very well, they look awesome.

I really like these. These are very well made and very durable. These look great on my window and really tie things together. I like the length and it flows nicely. I was very happy with how easy these were to put up also.

This is a cute set of curtains. The set is long and is very floral with different colors. The curtains go great in my office with the green walls and white furniture. The panels can be washed and look great with the grey curtain rods I use with these.

I recently purchased these. When they arrived they were wrinkled but after sprinkling them with water and and a quick refresh in the dryer, most wrinkles came out. The blue color is a room pick me up.

Very pleased!.

It took a good two weeks to get my order, I get there are issues. The curtains are fine, just not the color I saw on my computer, I may return them, but the shipping costs may make it not worth it. We’ll see.

These curtains are great quality, thick but not to heavy. They block 99. 9 percentage of lights. You can these curtains two ways on the rod or use the back tabs. Each panel measures 50in W by 84in L.

The front is made with 100% cotton and back 100% polyester. The color pattern stated on package white n gray sky medallion. The actual color is bluish gray with white pattern.

The curtains had a bit of a smell from the packaging, so I washed them before first use, accordingly to the care instructions. However, upon removing from the dryer, the decorative side had shrunk, and the blackout side had not, leaving an odd hangover at the bottom when I attempted to hang them up.

Very disappointed! Was very careful to wash as instructed, and either it shrunk, or was defective to begin with.

I absolutely love these curtains! The color and design are very pretty! They really do block out the light which is perfect for my bedroom since I work third shift. They are very good quality and I like the fact that the rod tabs are on the back side.

These were exactly as presented and came on time. I really like them. I got the brownish color – I forget what they called it but it’s pretty close to a Hershey bar milk chocolate (maybe not quite that dark) but I love it.

It was surprisingly difficult to remove the wrinkles, though. Steaming in my dryer didn’t work, washing and drying as per the label didn’t work, so I dragged out my steam iron and ironed them on my queen size bed.

That worked well since the curtains are so very large.

The product description stated the curtains are white. However, the color of the curtains are more of a silvery light gray color. Obviously I did not pay much for these so the quality is consistent with the lower price.

The color still works in my sunroom so I plan on keeping them and putting them to use. I wanted to try some cheaper curtains before investing in more expensive to ensure I like the look.

I bought these curtains in dusty rose for my daughter’s room. She a pre-teen now and is over Disney colors and unicorns. She is very happy with the color as it’s still pink but a little more mature. I guess it’s called millennial pink.

The fabric is soft and not too heavy. I am happy with the curtains because they are heavy enough to block cold air from the windows this winter, but still allow just a little light to shine through. We live in the south so I don’t know how effective they would be in colder areas.

I give them an emphatic thumbs up.
