20 Best Curtains For Sliding Doors (2023 Updated)

Bought the Mariah style because it was one of the few curtains that had a patio door panel and was very reasonably priced. Quality of curtain is just average. I bought one patio door panel for a 6-foot patio door.

It would look better when curtain closed if there were 2 panels put together. I’ve also purchased the Sun Zero Saxon in Dove White and the Quinn in Linen and both curtains look much richer than the Mariah line, which unfortunately do not have patio door panels as an option.

If you don’t need the patio door panel I would not recommend the Mariah curtain as it’s very plain and thin material. It doesn’t hang that well so I put some drapery weights in the hem to help it lay better.

Not really sure it helps. I’ll live with it because it’s in a bedroom where nobody sees it but me.

I ordered the Chocolate which is the exact color as the picture on the website. I wanted to try something a little lighter, so I then ordered the Barley. Now that one is nothing like the color on the website.

It looks more like the Taupe (label says Barley so I did get the right one). I will be returning the Barley and keeping the Chocolate. But aside from not all colors being represented accurately, the curtain is very nice and does the job.

I bought 2 of the 84×100 curtain panels for a large window. One of the panels had very noticeable flaws in the fabric and the other had stains. The manufacturing process must be very poor. Returned them the next day.

I was so pleased with the workmanship and fabric of my new black-out curtains. Just one other commend concerns the color given as “beige”. It is more of a taupe than a beige. This was a disappointment and I will probably give them to my daughter who has a taupe color throughout.

In the meantime I will search for a true “BEIGE”…. hopefully as well made as yours. J. Quinn.

Very nice thermal curtains that really block out afternoon sunlight. Beautiful burgundy color with burnished brass grommets that slide easily on drapery rod. Straight out of the package no funky smell and very few wrinkles that quickly disappear upon hanging on rod.

I have extra wide big Spanish windows so use two panels for each window for excellent coverage on South facing windows. They keep out the heat and look great at a fabulous price. Very happy!.

I use as a barrier between the kitchen and laundry room which has no furnace venting. In the winter it’s a bit drafty. I’ve been looking for something heavy enough not to move with the slight draft. These work the best out of ALL that I’ve tried.

They are extremely soft but heavy enough to stop the draft. Highly recommend for use on any window and door frame barriers.

This curtain is a great product. It’s kept our house warm during this harsh winter in the North East. I would recommend this curtain to anyone who has a sliding/patio door or even a very large picture window.

The fabric is of great quality and the color goes well in my dining room.

I ordered these because the little tufts look all white online and appear to be small, like the size of a nickel or quarter. They are not. The tufts are alternating gray and white and are much larger than a quarter.

Not at all what I wanted. Sending them back. Also, to return them, I have to package them each separately, each with their own return label because they are not Walmart items, but sold through the Walmart website.

Cannot return to stores.

Surprised by the quality. The material is thick and they truly do block out the light. I was impressed. I bought the gray. They are a nice shade of gray. I would 100% buy these again.

I purchased the original Madison Park Essentials bedding in Aqua on a last minute whim two years ago. This purchase, unforeseen at that time, triggered an obsession for me! From the bedding, to the matching curtains, shower curtains, rugs, mats, laundry baskets, storage bins and a mouthful more, Ive completely overhauled my entire house! Ive tried off-brand items and nothing has compared to the bold and pristine colors and quality of the Madison Park brand.

As much as I love this, I do cringe at the pricing of the majority of the items. Im left to having to wait out the best sales! Ive been searching the stores for this theme a little over two years now, and can honestly say that the original exact match trellis design is a rarity in its form! Of course, you can always go straight to the distributor, but with an obsession like mine on a budget, its definitely a must to find cheaper, packaged deals.

Ive been looking for a reasonably priced set of standard (common) living-room length curtains in gray or seafoam green for quite some time now. Im pleased to have stumbled upon this set today!.

Very happy with the curtains and rods. Very prompt shipping. I was in the Cheyenne store in person and when I left I told my sister with me that those were some of the nicest clerks ever. They were very courteous and extremely helpful in getting the curtains and rods ordered.

Very pleasant experience. I had never been to a Bed Bath and Beyond store but I will certainly be back when opportunity arises.

Nice fabric, pattern, and grey color. Some light shows through but the fabric is heavy enough to provide privacy from the road. I was searching for a medium weight fabric that would hang well and not bunch together when open.

I can open the entire curtain and it fits on one side of the patio doors, so if I want, I can have the entire door view. The pattern is big enough to not be overwhelmingly busy. The curtains fit nicely in my “modern farmhouse” and was given a thumbs up by my decorator.

Color is great! They are small panels and I do wish they were wider but I did know that via the description when ordering. They cover the window fully flattened out which works. I do wish they were slightly more darkening, as they are quite sheer, so that descriptor in their name seems misleading.

Overall I am happy with them though. Pattern and colors are just what I wanted.

I absolutely love these curtains. They are somewhat room darkening but they are thin enough that some light comes through. I love the pattern and they really complete the look I was hoping for.

Cute curtains, but the two panels are equal to one standard size panel. They are extremely small in width. Otherwise it was exactly what I was looking for for my sons car themed room.

When I took this curtain out of the package, it was very flat and the creases were so pressed into the fabric that nothing will take them out. They are not pattern creases but rather random creases that came from folding the curtain to put it into the package.

Also it was advertised as a light and heat blocking curtain. It does very little to block either either heat or light.

I bought this to replace the ugly green insulated curtains I had. My critters trashed them over the 20 years. I loved the deep brown color of this patio curtain, so I bought them, thinking that they were insulated as well.

It has a dark brown silky back, which is beautiful, but not insulated or very room-darkening. Light comes through. not real bright, but definitely not a light-blocker. These are super easy to get on the rod, and I was really surprised that the rings were large enough to fit over the huge curtain rod the old curtains were on.

One really amazing surprise was how much bigger it seems to make the room look. You’d think the lighter color of the ugly green I had would have made the room look larger. nope. These rich, deepchocolate-colored curtains really make the room look bigger and the ceiling higher.

Because these seem to be a bit thinner, I think I’m going to buy another one to put on the rod, so the curtain is folded. I might also add another curtain rod and put another curtain up to add more insulation and room-darkening to keep the room cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

The curtains are attractive and don’t look at budget as they cost, but they are not exactly blackout curtains. I have blackout curtains in other rooms and they actually blackout the light and are heavy enough to serve as an insulator in winter.

These, not so much. The light comes through and they are thin material.

This is a nice curtain. They are wrinkled when they arrive so they need to be washed or steamed to get the wrinkles out. Its not completely blackout but it’s okay because they really do reduce the amount of heat in the home.

This fit perfectly for my patio sliding door and the color looks alright. I did not want a dark color because I wanted to keep the house looking bright. I would recommend this product to a friend.

I bought these for our bedroom and love that it is just one panel. The one panel really blocks light from the outside with no separation in the middle. We have similar curtains like this in our living room and really loved them.

Material is super soft and really adds some style to the room. Would definitely recommend these curtains.

I bought one a year ago and it has been great. It blocks the light and the fabric is great quality. My pets tend to get their hair stuck to it but washing it on the delicate cycle brings it out as new again.

I now have it in 3 different colors.

I love that these curtains were inexpensive and beautiful and blackout to boot. I am using them on my basement windows. The one thing I would caution is to iron on a low setting. My iron, about 25 years old, was on medium high and it burned thru the blackout material -which is noticeable if curtain is closed flat and the sun peeps thru the tiny areas where the iron accidentally charred thru the blackout material.

I was only trying to get out the “fold” lines. I’d recommend a very low setting and the use of the steam. If you have a steamer, even better. Even though I ironed them, the curtains didn’t look that well ironed but as soon as I hung them up, the weight of the curtains evened out the fold lines.

I reordered an additional set of panels for all the windows in my basement so that it can look more “full” when closed. And, I found a person who will sew them together for me at a very reasonable price.

I have to say they look exquisite. Anyone that has seen them, tells me they look beautiful. (I am in love with Walmart and if it’s beautiful for cheap, it’s even better. It’s actually my motto: how can I make this space look exquisite while on a shoe string budget.

I ordered these because I had the exact same style from the same manufacturer a few years ago and I really liked them. This order arrived damaged, had two black marks with a slight cut through one of them panels (I ordered two panels.

) I returned them to store same day. ALSO the first pair I had a few years back was white front with white backing; these were labeled as white but were very light gray with gray backing. This is the second (completely different) pair of curtains I’ve purchased in the last month from Mainstay and BOTH pairs were labeled white when they were not! (one was beige and this one was light gray.

) Why is it so hard to do white?!? Will NOT be purchasing any more curtains by this brand unless I see them in person. Not happy :(.

I got these for light control and to use as a more attractive alternative to vertical blinds on the patio door. I bought the midnight blue. The curtains are heavy, well made and really block the light when watching tv making the at home movie experience much better.

The length and width are perfect for my doors. My only criticism is that they come with a grommet header. Personal preference but I hate grommet top curtains. I made them work but it would be nice if curtains came with more options.

I recently redid the sliding door blinds/drapes and the curtains I ordered were just totally the wrong color and they were not black out even though they were advertised as such. I went online and did some shopping around and was looking for a specific tone of teal.

I found what looked like the correct product here and ordered it. It finally arrived and I got it all hung and I am definitely a happy customer! Color and blackout where is advertised and it fit well with everything I was doing.

Quality seems good. And the wand was a nice touch. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to others.

I live in eastern NC and summer here can get very hot with temps reaching 99-100 degrees. I bought these exact same curtains several years ago for our beach home. They really cut down on heat in the summer and cold in the winter.

So I bought some for my living room at home. Still the same exact quality and price. Blocking the sun out and keeping my rooms cool help with the power bill. Just wish these had been around when I used to sleep days and work nights.

Great for shift workers.

I ordered the two panel french door style curtains and they work wonderfully. They do not completely block out any and all light that comes through the window normally, but in my case at 7am until 8:30am, having an option to shut out the sun’s light in my kids bedroom, is something that we both enjoy.

I can make sure that my children whom are very different in ages, can sleep well, when both of them need to. They’re a very nice material as well, and the color for the sky blue is spot on the same as within the photograph, with the description.

I am very pleased with these curtains, and I would definitely consider ordering another set for my living room, especially since I can choose to attach a second bar to the bottom of a door, or a wall.

They would also work great as a DIY design hack for a bedroom, on each side of the bed, with end tables and two matching lamps to give you a focal wall, without having to paint if you are a renter.

Definitely not room darkening, but I was using them as a second panel behind the black out shades I purchased, and they are perfect for that. The pattern is very pretty – botanical and simple, which is exactly what I wanted.

The curtains are cute, look good in my playroom. They are a stark white background with dark gray dots. I was expecting black and white. They look cheaply printed up close but from far away they look fine.

For the price its a good buy.

These were purchased for a girls playroom (pink and brown) and they work perfectly to tone down the intense sunlight that comes in there. The girls and I are so happy with the look!

These are lovely, just what I needed. I think the color is a little lighter than I imagined, but it goes great with my paint scheme. The only (very minor) complaint is that the screws that came with the mounting hardware are very poor quality and the heads stripped easily using a power drill.

But we got them up and they look great.

I bought these curtains thinking they’d look great after renovations and painting but so disappointed. Very cheap material. Don’t look well made. The panels are very thin not sure if they’d even work to completely block out sun.

I was originally shocked because I thought what a fantastic deal. 2 panels at that price. Unfortunately, my husband was right you get what you pay for. These are not worth it! Very disappointed!.
