20 Best Cup Turner For Tumblers (2023 Updated)

Lifetime warranty is great. None of the others I previewed offered this. The warranties were for one, maybe two, years. There is a lot in the bundle that kept me from having to order the things I needed a piece at a time.

I will definitely come back to explore wgat else they sell. I think their prices are great, too.

This turner is really good. Very quiet, turns faster than the ones from hobby lobby. The extras that came in the bundle are a plus. The glitter is nicer and bigger jars than I thought they would be. Overall Im very pleased with my purchase.

I love this cup turner!! I will end up buying another one, I am sure. At least when I can afford another one. I am loving making tumblers. I am home alone all day everyday so this will truly help me.

The turner serves its purpose. I like how the edges are flexible enough to pick up food remnants that stick on the sides of a Chinese wok or a pan. It is easy to use and clean. It can withstand high temperature.

However, I would love to have the handle slightly longer.

I am totally thrilled! I’m going to order another one because I have a big wok and two of these would make stirring a breeze. no scratching my pan and the stainless steel handle is a great feature. the loop on the end makes it easy to hang up.

it’s a nice spatula and tolerates heat but it does not a have strong spade that holds the weight of food well.

It does what it’s supposed to. Like all silicone/nylon hybrid turners it’s thick and that is reflected in the leading edge. It has a tendency to push the food around as opposed to sliding under it. The overall size is slightly smaller than a “regular” sized spatula, but the large is significantly larger than a “regular” sized one.

As the heading says, it’s ok, not great. I’m not going to get rid of it, but it’s not the first spatula I reach for. If you want this, buy it on sale, otherwise it’s not really worth it.

This is the second one of these that I’ve owned in my life. The previous one I bought roughly 18 years ago and it’s been in almost constant daily use since. I replaced it this year because one of the corners of the silicone had split – given it’s age I wasn’t too upset, I definitley got my money’s worth out of the first one – seriously hoping this one lasts as long! It’s dishwasher safe but to be honest it often gets hand washed as we need it quicker! This is one piece of kitchen equipment everyone needs in my opinion.

This little turner far exceeded my expectations. I have a drawer full of spatulas that I would buy thinking this would be “the one”. This is a great little turner but it still leaves some areas to be desired.

I use it often on my large electric indoor griddle for making breakfast for the family. It does great for turning pancakes, eggs and large batches of hash brown potatoes. I have noticed it does struggle to get under foods, almost as if the silicone is just a bit too thick.

I also noticed that the silicone tends to skid or stick the non-stick griddle surface. At the end of the day, I will still continue to use this turner although it may not be my favorite but it still earns its keep in my drawer.

I have found the spatula(s) of my dreams, and after buying this and several other sizes/shapes from the GiR line, I haven’t touched another spatula since (well, at least when I’m not in my work kitchen).

Even before I went to culinary school, I was raised to be a home cook with rather particular tastes regarding the tools and equipment that I’ll allow to take up residence in my kitchen cupboards. Everything has to have a purpose and perform the task or tasks perfectly.

And my friends, this spatula was designed to perfection. For two years of culinary school, I searched for something like this: a small and slender little number that could turn the ridiculous experience of squeezing my palm-sized professional spatula into the slightly-smaller-than-palm-sized openings of a deli container for the sole purpose of scraping up a 3g dollop of vanilla paste into an elegant experience of one twist-and-flick-of-the-wrist motion.

Alas, it wasn’t until the last two months of school that I finally came across GiR and their line of beautifully designed multi-purpose spatulas—and it took another two months for me to discover a local supplier in Calgary’s Knifewear (thank you, yay!!!).

Whether you prefer the scoop or the angle, this little beauty can reach into the corners of pesky square containers (and honestly, why are you using square containers anyway), plumb the depths of those tall, narrow jars when you can’t stand to waste that last 1/4 cup of your favourite sauce or condiment, toss about the contents of a fry pan, and scrape down the sides of any bowl with ease.

Seriously, unless you’re an actual chef or just have an unfortunate and misplaced fondness for those professional-grade, red-handled workhorses of the spatula world, this little number is all you need (well, this and it’s larger and smaller counterparts).

I’m putting together a fresh set of kitchen gear and did some searching for left-handed spatulas (ok, “flips”, whatever). I was surprised that there didn’t seem to be many options out there, and after reading other reviews I decided to go with the GIR flip- my first purchase from this company.

First, the very mildly not really bad: I wish the lefty came in more colors! Second, the much, much better everything else: I have used the flip extensively at this point and I’m impressed with the design and quality.

It’s hefty and has the proper stiffness in the blade that I was hoping for. It also has the perfect amount of flex at the edge such that I’ve never had to shove anything around with it- it is remarkably deft at being able to manipulate the food I’m cooking.

And the left-handedness? *chef’s kiss* If you’re a lefty cooking with right-handed or, at best, neutral utensils- you just don’t know what you’re missing. Honestly, this thing does exactly what I wanted and expected it to do.

I’ll be picking one up for my thrifty left-handed mom- I think she’ll be as surprised and satisfied as I was.

Dear GIR customer service, I am a long-time customer, and have always been very happy with your products, and have referred several people to your company. So I’ve been perplexed as to why the 2 spoonlas I ordered are definitely not made with the same quality of silicone that all of your other items (that I have ordered) are.

On July 10, 2020, I sent you an email regarding an important problem with the two spoonlas from order #GIRCO83366. I HAVE RECEIVED NO RESPONSE. This is disappointing and frustrating, because I am not able to contact you via phone, or any other way.

I had previously, always had such a respected opinion of GIR, but I am disheartened and wondering if you are now going out of business, for two reasons: 1. ) You haven’t responded to my customer service request from 10 days ago.

2. ) The quality of the silicone (which is the reason for contacting you) has apparently deteriorated greatly. I would very much appreciate a response and at least a refund for these 2 defective products.

It contained two different sized “Spoonlas” as well as a a MultiPack Straw set. I am contacting you about the two spoonlas: GIRSUS311BLK GIR Skinny Spoonula GIRSUM311BLK GIR Mini Spoonula I have always been very happy and impressed with all of the GIR products over the years, and appreciate the integrity with which you have built your company upon.

So, you can imagine how astonished I was to discover that the above mentioned Spoonlas are definitely not the same quality of all the other products that I’ve ordered from GIR. As they say, pictures are worth a thousand words, so I’ve attached a photo for your reference, to show what defect I’m referring to.

In the photo I have placed a previously bought Mini Spoon between the 2 new Spoonlas. These 3 pieces were washed in the same dishwasher cycle. When I went to put away the dishes, the older Mini Spoon was as beautiful as usual – even after years of dishwashing.

As you can see in the photo, the 2 new Spoonlas are badly discolored with blotches or smears of a chalky residue. Since the older Mini Spoon has never discolored this way, it stands to reason that they are not manufactured out of the same quality of silicon.

Just so you know, I’ve been “into” using silicone for several decades, and I’ve done lots of research about the different qualities of silicone products, especially for cooking and baking use. I know that when a silicone product ends up looking like the two new Spoonlas in the photo, they are most likely not made with a high quality silicone.

I had always appreciated that GIR is not only known for the best quality silicone, but also purports that as part of your mission: “we designed a product with carefully chosen materials, an uncompromising focus on quality” In my research, I also learned that when one bends the edge of a silicone product, and the color disappears into a white color, it means it’s a lesser quality silicone.

This would be alright for some silicone uses, but definitely for cooking or baking. I found that these 2 new Spoonlas definitely DO turn white, when bent at the edges, unfortunately. I am asking for a refund for these 2 spoonlas, and I would be happy to return them if you send me a pre-paid return mailing label.

Love it. Stainless, flawless. Just cold perfection cast in a single piece. Bought this with the large soup ladle to match my spaghetti claw by all-clad that I really like. This turner is great but now I have to figure out how to convince my family members not to use a scouring pad on ot and scratching it.

Really stays quite clean and burned on stuff can usually be boiled off. The handle requires you to put your thumb on top so for individuals used to holding the turner with their thumb on the bottom it can take some getting used to.

I find now that putting your thumb on the top allows me to use my whole arm to do the turning motion which seems more ergonomic anyway. The turner is physically training me to cook better haha. thanks!.

well made product and very study. Has a shiny stainless steel attractive. Place on my counter top in holder for showing off. Love only All Clad.

The top of the handle is hollowed out, and is uncomfortable to hold. Only reason I can think they did this is to save money by using less metal. Otherwise, it was a nice size and weight and I know the All-Clad brand to be long-lasting and efficient.

Sorry, this one is NOT a winner. Returned, bought a similar Oneida product for a lot less money.

Got this to use with my blackstone griddle. I have some official blackstone turners and wow what a night and day different in terms of quality. This Mercer turner is sturdy and definitely meant to last.

I can smash a burger patty without worrying about bending the metal. My blackstone turners are flimsy and if I tried to smash a patty the metal would definitely bend at the handle. The edges are beveled making getting under the food much easier.

Ive had no issue handling the turner in high heat. Just a great turner for griddle use. Obviously you get what you pay for. These Mercer turners arent cheap but I can see them lasting a lifetime. I plan to get other variations to complete my griddle tool set.

Definitely recommend. Update added to my collection and bought the grill scraper. Very sturdy with no flex what so ever. The scraping edge has a nice bevel to it. Not obvious in the product pictures but the scraping edge is not squared, instead it has a slight angle to it.

I initially thought the scraper was defective until i searched for pictures online and it appears the angle is purposely made. perhaps it helps to scrape better.

it is good and easy to clean, my personal favorite use is for transferring chopped items from the cutting board to other pots, It works great for that, much better than a bench scraper or knife in my opinion.

yes it is a great spatula, and pretty good for a scraper but as stated I always reach for this to transfer cut veggies , I would buy it just for this alone, I can get big scoops of potatoes or onions ect.

it is a kitchen favorite for me, if your smashing burgers, the neck flexes a little more that I would like in my opinion, but it still works and I dont have another heavy duty to compare it to. thank you.

Exactly what I needed to up my smashed burger game. This is a sturdy spatula Very well made, should last longer than me. A bit too wide for a frying pan, but perfect for the griddle. I have used it to serve casseroles as well.

Highly recommended, life is too short for inadequate kitchen tools.

I love this slotted turner!! IT makes flipping eggs soo easy!! I always have issues popping the yolk with spatulas and i did not with this turner! I also flip pancakes with ease! The slotted turner is substantial in size and weight, which turns out to be a good thing when you actually cook with it! I’ve used it for a couple of weeks to cook bacon and scrambled eggs. It has a large surface area, which makes quick work of scrambling the eggs and veggies as well as flipping the bacon.

I purchased hoping to get a better spatula the was strong enough to lift weightier meats and whole fish in lieu of smaller spats. Is heavier stainless steel and 3 rivet handle. 6×7 surface + about same size handle maybe near a lb.

In weight I liked my 1st. I bought 3 more. Two in my camp gear and two for house. A whole slice if bread and room on spat That’s more that what I pour size on pancakes. I pan fry fish alot and that size allows me alot easier time flipping the trout over w/o causing it to break apart.

Whole heartily recomend if you want a bigger heavier grade spatula.

I was impressed with the quality of this spatula. It is large and nice and heavy (in a good way). This is big enough to use to lift round cake layers without having them fall apart. I am very happy with this purchase.

This black silicone and wood wok turner, like others in the Staub line, is a handsome kitchen tool. It’s comfortable to hold, the turner is rigid (does not flex when lifting a pile of food) and does not scratch the surface of nonstick cookware.

One potential drawback is its relatively short length. If you are using it with a wok that’s 12″-13″ or less in diameter, it’s fine, but if using it with a much larger wok, its length is suboptimal.

Had planned to handwash with the wood handle, but keep in mind BBB website says it is dishwasher safe and the item instructions say not to put in dishwasher. BBB needs to have correct designations of their items.

has happened before! Spoon seems great though, seems sturdier than my other spatulas for using on stove and like the shape of it. Says “high temperature resistance” but does not say how high of temperature.

Waited specifically for this item to be available and am glad I did. Quality construction means that it doesn’t feel fragile. The silicone tool gently bends to the curve of the wok allowing for consistent proper “scooping” of ingredients without scratching the seasoning of the pan like many metal tools do.

I love the iridescent black! And I couldn’t beat the price of under $17. I also really like that it holds 32oz of liquid and keeps it pretty cold. The only thing that could be better is the handle. Since it’s removable, it doesn’t feel sturdy as it could just slide down.

It would be better if it was permanently on or permanently off. And the opening for the straw is a bit wide so liquid could easily drip out. I haven’t tested it on hot liquids yet. But I imagine it won’t stay hot very long since again the opening where the straw is is wide and it doesn’t close at all.

I received the Bubba Envy S with Bumper 24oz Pink Sorbet ombre cup for free in exchange for a honest review. The cup is a great size and slender enough to fit cupboard. I love the color and the straw has a mixer end to remix protein drinks or whatever you use your cup for.

It kept my drink ice cold over night which was amazing and i still had ice the next morning. Shipping was horrid though because my cup has a huge sent in it from not being packed good. Also the straw wasn’t made or cut properly because the tip of it had a knock in it so i had to cut the plastic there so it would cut my lip.

I use a lot of spatulas to scramble eggs, flip burgers, fries, etc. But these are very nice. The shorter handle gives you better control over those with long clumsy handles. I bought the 4 spatula set.

This is still a great spatula but is shorter and not as flexible as another one that I own. I couldn’t flip an egg to save my life! I kept trying but finally had to give up because I didn’t want it broken.

I have used this spatula to cook hamburgers, fried potatoes and various other meats and it works just fine. As I said , it’s a shorter length than my go to spatula, so it took some getting used to. It doesn’t scratch your pans and cleans up easily.

I love this turner! I have used it for serving pizza, fish, and several other items. It works well, and is holding up quite nicely!

I have two 30 oz Ramblers with handles that I bought a few years apart. The older one, the handle goes all the way to the top but the newer one stops about 1-inch from the top. I’ve tried the new and old handles on both Ramblers and discovered the the older Rambler outside diameter is a bit smaller than the new Rambler because regardless of handle used, both handles stop at the top on the old Rambler or 1-inch with the new Rambler.

Both handles are in perfect shape like new, not stretched out or anything, nor do I understand how others have stretched their handles since the material doesn’t stretch. They do get tight when seated properly to prevent accidently falling out, but not enough to stretch to where they don’t fit anymore.

I also checked the lids of both fit perfectly on each other when swapped around, so the inside diameter is still the same, just the newer Rambler has a slightly larger diameter to fit 1-inch lower because it was a slight inconvenience to have the top ring of the handle in your mouth which isn’t a problem with the newer Rambler.

Pair these with a good old Yeti for a superior mug That fits especially well in your hand and also slides perfectly into your cup holder. Much better than the newer models with the built in handle towards the top to accommodate use of a cup holder.

Tried one of the newer models and it just feels AWEFUL. Sits unused in my cabinet.

Literally using the Yeti Rambler Tumbler handle AS I TYPE! I pair it with the Yeti 30oz Tumbler that I have in multiple colors. The handle stays in place all day but comes off when you need it to. It’s soooo nice not to have to grab the large cup and possibly drop it while you’re drinking something.

A must buy.

I have two double barrel tumblers from Harbor Freight and they work great. I’ve read terrible reviews of this machine and avoided buying one for a long time. When I needed a tumbler and could not find any online I decided to take the plunge and buy one.

It was a little wonky for the first two weeks but after working enough oil (I use 3 in 1) into the roller bushings it’s been running smooth and trouble free constantly for the past 8 months. After a month I was so pleased with it I bought a second.

I didn’t have any issues with this one from the beginning but I did make sure to oil the bushings before use. In fact, I’ve had to force myself to not buy a third but am weakening by the day. Regarding the drive belts: I’ve read numerous reviews complaining about broken belts.

It’s one reason I delayed buying one. When I bought these tumblers I eyeballed the belt alignment on each before use. Neither of them needed adjustment and I have not had a single belt break after 7 and 8 months of constant use.

These tumblers have not been shut off for more than 15 minutes a week while cleaning out and changing grit. All that said I have a friend that has had 4 of these tumblers and ended up returning 3 due to issues.

One was a broken belt from what she told me. All she knew is it quit working. The second one I looked at and it appeared to be a slightly bent motor shaft. The third was a motor that burned out after less than a week.

All three were returned and exchanged with no questions asked at the local store. The fourth one has been working well for her for 3 months now. While have no complaints about these machines I do understand there could be problems with some.

I give 5 stars based on my own experience and the easy (90 day) return/exchange policy of the store. Be sure to keep your receipt in a safe place.

I like how quiet and smooth running it is! I have had mine a couple weeks and found it super easy to use! I clean clad coins and corroded Pennys from the beach mixed with stainless steel beads and a light amount of liquid dish soap and CLR and tumble for a couple hours depending on how bad they are! They come out looking almost in mint state! I don’t like the way the inner lid seals but be patient putting it back together ( make sure it is clean) and it should perform well and not leak on you! The instructions says not to use liquids but the two barrels ride nicely – don’t overload them! Mine did unscrew the barrel closet to the motor once but maybe I did not tighten it enough? Yes – for the price point ( get the membership) I would recommend it if you want to polish rocks or clean coins! Good Luck!.

After buying my first single barrel newbie tumbler from another brand, I thought I would add this more professional double barrel to my hobby. The price is great and Harbor Freight has a good rep. I let this run for 5, week-long cycles and got great results.

My second batch, the tumbler started sounding like it was struggling after 2weeks (and yes, I did oil the shaft and check the belt at the 30 day mark as advised). I stopped it and opened it up. The belt looked fine but I changed it anyway, but still no rotation from the fan rod, which seems to drive the rest.

The motor is making a sound, but no action from the turn shaft, even after taking the belt off and lubricating it. Whatever is broken inside, it’s beyond my skills. :(.

I was impressed with the initial quality of this spatula and I continue to use it with very satisfied results. The grip and feel are quite comfortable and the nonstick aspect is definitely a plus. I have used a number of spatulas in the past that were far too flexible or they would become weak when heated, but that is not the case with this particular spatula.

If you’re looking for a spatula that will do the job, is of good quality, and is nonstick, I’d definitely recommend trying this one. I look forward to continuing using this spatula with consistently positive results well into the future.

This turner has a great angle for getting under food and flipping over burgers, chops, etc. It is solid and made with stainless steel on the handle with a nice nonstick surface for the flipper. I love that it is easy to clean up and is dishwasher safe.

Purchased this Cuisinart utensil set when it was on sale and I was not disappointed. Quality kitchen tools with the Cuisinart name. Takes care of all my kitchen needs without having to spend tons of money.

This was a gift and it was well received! The only issue is with the potato peeler. Seems only the old fashioned ones work well. The recipient is usually pretty low key about things but she was really excited about this gift and all it’s pieces.

Nothing special –plastic utensils that meet a minimal requirement. Can not say anything extra about purchase. Had some old ones that were needing to be replaced and this set was attached to another Deal of the Day.

This is a nice upgrade to the We R Memory Keepers spinner. The old design did not work well at all. It was hard to get the cup level. It was very frustrating and as a result I stop using the spinner all together.

This upgrade made the spinner usable. It creates a nice firm grip on the tumblers regardless of the size.

Spin it pro upgrade arm 1st spin it was not sturdy to hold cup without cup falling off had it in cupboard saw this and added to original spin it. Now it holds cups great.

Cup holder is a awesome tool to use when your working with the cup spinner.
