Seems very well designed and very sturdy. Looks like it will last a long time.

I had limited beverage holders on my center console, this new cup holder and storage has solved that as it fits perfect on the dash and i have a place for items such as keys and cell phone. nice product well made for the boating enviroment.

This thing is indestructible, and should stand the test of time and saltwater. Big holder for cofffee mugs, and the catch all is the perfect size. Attached mine to console with Velcro.

I bought this to alter it for use on my crutches, holding 1 open (or closed) drink with both hands holding my crutches. I took off the top portion and widened the prongs then drilled 2 small holes at a desired place then inserted those prong for a perfect fit that will never too over.

Not altering this device is still a perfect product.

The drink holder pictured shows a drink holder with a cutout for the handle of a coffee mug. It is larger in diameter to accommodate the mug size. What I received was the smaller diameter canned drink holder.

It has no cutout for the handle and is too small for the mug. I considered returning the two that I received but it would be more trouble than it was worth. Some things need to be touched when purchased.

The cage only holds the smaller diameter bottles and cans. Not all fit in it. If the bottle does not fit loosely you wind up pulling the whole cage along with the bottle. It should be 1/4 inch larger in diameter.

As expected. Will swap with my ’93 Cobalt 198 existing cup holders. They are not as thick as existing but they’ll do just fine. #value

Too shallow for water bottles. Dont fit properly. Can be blown out of boat easily .

Like the other reviews say. It’s pretty flimsy, but might work. Definitely use better screws than what they send you, or you’ll break them off in the fiberglas of your boat. The foam koozie they send you is too thick, so when you try to remove the can the whole device comes off – I just stuck in another koozie I bought for a dollar somewhere and it works fine.

It keeps slipping out of its socket – I may just screw it in permanently. When it’s in place, drink doesn’t spill.

These are pretty great. And then even come with that blue foam sailboat can holder. The little ugly brown plastic mount attaches to anything and the holder can be removed in case you dont want a big ugly basket hanging on your house or camper, or whatever, all the time.

The basket could be a little bigger. It doenst fit my stemless wine glasses as I hoped :(.

Like most people I drink out of different size containers throughout the day. I was never able to determine the dimension of the cup holder so I was disappointed how small the cup holder was. It will hold a soda can but not an insulated coffee container so I guess it is just a rod holder for me.

Details are important since we can’t see the product.

These work great as a rod holder and cup holder. The only issue I have with it is that my magma grill rod holder mount doesn’t fit in it. That really sucked since I placed it specifically with that purpose in mind and didn’t think to check the fit first.

The rod holder section is slightly smaller inside than a standard rod holder.

The quality of the plastic seems great! I wish it came with some stainless screws but overall I love it. It came with some koozies and fits a beer can perfectly and a medium ice coffee. Has molded in gimal slots which is nice.

Perfect addition for my skiff. Drink or fish, is there a wrong answer?.

So, bought this to replace rear rod holders near my transom that I rarely use because. it’s a “cup holde slash rod holder” and it’s kinda convenient to use the open deck to entertain. No directions or drill size provided from West Marine or any label on it.

Needs a hole saw and then some boring out at an angle to fit in the deck. Would have thought there’s a better solution from West Marine but there’s been a lot of changes recently.

I am very pleased with the cup holders. They are an exact fur to the description. I am very happy with then.

I’ve had plastic drink holders on our boat which always break. These are stainless steel and are same size. They will definitely not break. They are well made and easy to install.

this is a well-made stainless steel cupholder. Excellent bargain for the money. I am using it for a replacement for a similar plastic cupholder. I have already broken 2 plastic cup holders, but I believe this stainless steel one will outlast the others easily.

These are a good idea, but the quality of finishing is very poor. Typical “made in china” workmanship. Half an hour in the workshop with panel beating tools and I now have a product that’s acceptable.

I take my 1972 fishing trawler out in the open ocean. She is being restored to her former glory and I removed the “cup holders” that were added later from her. If you set down your drink, it flew overboard within seconds.

With a lot of flack from the crew, I decided to look into an alternate cup holder and found these on Amazon. A bit pricey but worth trying out. I bought four of them. Took the boat out two days after they were delivered.

No drinks were spilled and I believe six more were purchased from friends and crew! These are a great product, highly recommended and no drink was spilled that was in the cup holder! Easy to use, clean and make for great gifts!.

I recieved a Yeti 30oz tumbler for a Christmas present last year. Before that, I always used an 18oz Mighty Mug. I saw this sleeve advertised on Facebook and for $28 decided to give it a try. My Yeti fits like a glove.

The sticker bottom isnt as good as a Mighjty Mug because I occasionally have to take my hand a wipe the bottom before I set it down or it wont stick. Once in awhile I pick up the Yeti by the top portion of the tumbler and and the toad fish doesnt come up with it.

Maybe 10 percent of the time. No big deal. Still I think its a good product. I’d reccomend it.

I was excited to buy this for my husband. However, I was pretty embarrassed when he went to use it in his truck and the first corner we turned the thing tipped over and the drink went everywhere. Not only that, there is a warning label on the item that says it is made with lead.

I wish I never bought this. Ummm why are companies still putting lead in their products? Yes let’s save the oysters and give the humans cancer. It would have been bad enough that this product tips over every third time.

But the lead warning, come on. No thanks!.

We were seeking some SS Drink Holders for the benches on the dock at our lake house. Purchases these and they are awesome. They are used not only to hold cans/bottle, but also sell phones, keys, sun-glasses, etc.

The hole in the bottom is great to let any water in them drain out. We are VERY PLEASED with them. (DH Akron, OH).

I was not sure what to expect but once the product arrived I was very impressed in terms of the cups quality. I replaced all cup holders in my boat, all were a perfect fit. I would highly recommend for other buyers.

Note – I used these cup holders to replace my marine white plastic cup holders. I am sure that these would also work well for RV owners as well.

The cup holders are a direct replacement/upgrade of the original ones in my boat. They really dress up the interior and the peel and stick foam ring underneath the top flange is effective for keeping the cup holder in place.

This well-made item by RAM seemed like the answer to my wife’s need for a bottle holder for the handlebar of her 2015 Harley Street Glide. We ride long distances, sometimes in hot weather, and staying hydrated is a challenge.

I was disappointed to find that this holder is very limited in what it will hold upright. Any decent-sized water bottle, when filled, is too top-heavy for this gimbal-mount holder, It tips over unless only a small bottle is used.

That doesn’t include most smaller, store-bought, pre-filled water bottles, because they are too narrow for the holder without the insert and too fat to use with the insert. My solution was to use a small bicycle bottle (refillable) we had picked up as a giveaway at an event.

Lucky we had that, or I’d still be looking. Given the limitations of this holder, I’m not rating the value as good. For our purposes, it’s barely useful. Guess we’ll have to remember to refill that little bicycle bottle more often.

My rating is “better than nothing. “.

About the only drink I ever need to put in a cup holder on my bike is a travel coffee mug. The standard design of almost all travel mugs, even a paper one from a coffee shop is that they are bigger at the top and taper to the bottom.

If you take into account the larger part of the mug + lid are at the top and weigh the most then it’s understandable that in a free swinging cup holder – gravity does what gravity wants. Every time I use this whether the travel mug is full or empty it swings all over the place, even turning upside down especially at highway speeds.

I’ve tried mounting it in every conceivable position available with my mount, always with the same results. I’ve always loved all of the RAM Mount stuff but I cannot recommend this.

Bought this a few years ago and despite being cheap plastic is worked OK until the holder came off the mount last week and fell with my phone in the cup. Fortunately I was able to catch it, but not going this way again.

Im giving these a three star, because I would like the cup holder to be a little bigger in circumference. I use these in my boat, great for a can or bottle. So I purchased two of them for my porch swing.

Our coffee cups will not fit them (yes, I removed the koozy), not a ridiculously large cup. Great product, wish that we had a better option on sizes.

These are actually quite nice. They are not great for beer bottles, unless you use the coozie that comes with it. (They tend to be top heavy when the boat is moving. ) However, that is not a problem.

The slot for the coffee cup handle is nice – I do actually drink more than cold beers occasionally. 🙂 Extra nice: The mount slides into place. This is nice when you are transporting cargo (we take our bikes to the islands), and need the unit out of the way.

No chance of it breaking by mistake. These could be a slight bit more sturdy, but they work quite well. Again – when the boat is in waves. it’s very hard to keep any drink in any type of holder spill proof.

I have an older riding mower that does NOT have a cup holder. At almost 70 years old (3 days away) I need to have something to drink when I mow the yard in 90+ degree weather. I mounted one of these on the side of my mower and it works just like it would on a boat and keeps my drink upright.

Without the thermal insulator, it will hold a 32 ounce foam cup. The included screws were no strong enough to go into metal so I used others but this is a very good product and versatile, as well.

I bought two of these cup holders, and all Ive got to say is that they are very useful! They do feel a bit cheap considering the price point, I thought theyd break easily, but they are actually more durable than I expected.

The best part about them is that the arms are adjustable and can even fit a 32oz yogurt carton! Also they increase the convenience by being foldable for extra leg space whenever you dont need them. I bought these for my 04 Honda Civic and these match perfectly with the interior.

I bought a vintage vehicle which had no beverage holders. These holders look good, were easily installed and worked great. They are good quality and great value. I highly recommend.

I used 3m spray mount on the backside first to stick it on to the 1983 Volvo 245 door panel. I sent self tapping screws into the door cards with a dab a glue to girly set them. Weve tested up to 20oz drinks with success.

I have changed over and added al my pole holders and accessories holders with scottys products. plush mounts , cut board , holders ,etc. absolutely love them. built tough as nails. Great looks. And 100% usable.

the cup holder holds the xtra large pop cups that the factor holders that came my boat wont. scotty is great stuff.

I have a basic aluminum boat with decking and about 6 Scotty rod holders around the rim of the boat. What I like about these is the flexibility for mounting. Sure, I can put them in my rod holders but I can also mount the little stub mount on horizontal OR vertical surfaces in a VERY small place.

Also, the little mount is so small it won’t cause a tripping hazard or hang up on much stuff. I have them mounted on the floor in some places and it’s nice to be able to pop them off and move them to rod holders if I have a large tackle box or cooler I want to load.

Pricey, but when space/flexibility is a premium, these are VERY nice.

I’m a singer in a rock band and I purchased one of these about 5 or 6 years ago but it was the all black one with no lettering as pictured above. I loved it because it kept my drink handy during shows plus the material kept sweating water bottles and drink glasses from dripping onto the stage floor, which is why I chose this model over the open wire models.

When my mom fell a few years ago and had to start using a walker she would get very frustrated trying to bring a drink into another room while holding onto the walker, so I came up with the idea of attaching my cup holder to her walker and she loves it so much she doesn’t want to give it back! I’ve now gone a few years without one and have finally decided to purchase one again since having water on stage with me is a must.

Also, some people complained it only fits beer and water bottles but the metal arms holding up the fabric do stretch out and you can bend them out yourself to widen the opening if you need to. From the other comments they are obviously substituting the On Stage Stands model with their logo on it for the advertised Musician’s Gear solid black model.

I bought it to hold a tall glass thermos. It’s not quite as deep as I’d like – another inch of depth would be better, but the arms are expandable with a little pulling and it fit snug over the thermos.

A perfect fit, I’d say, and a perfect solution to keep the thermos from moving around or spilling. On Stage – make the cup 1″ longer and it would be PERFECT.

It works well for holding smaller diameter water bottles. Or you can stash your keys or tips that were earned while playing in it. All seriousness aside, it is sturdilly constructed and should last a long time if it does not get lost.

These should be made in higher visibility colors. It does work well for fast transitions on and off stage. the festival that I play it’s walk-on, 3 chords for your sound check and your on. So ease of use is important.

Tweleve quarters less then what they want for it now would be a better price for this. They would sell more of them as well. A midi and USB port would be ice to have on this.

It’s near impossible to find this size cup holder, but I finally found them here! I was replacing a single lost cup holder in a 1989 Invader. Back then, the holders went designed to accept cans with huggers; they are just big enough to accept the drink only.

Plus, the original was very shallow. About 75% of the can would sit above the lip of the holder. These two new ones are a very tight, perfect fit! And they are way deeper than the original! Only about 20% of the can sits above the lip.

I would purchase again, though I don’t belive these have any chances of getting lost.

I purchased by Tracker Pontoon Boat from Bass Shops in Las Vegas. Lost in a cup holder in transport for use of the boat in Colorado in the Summer. I ordered a generic cup holder from the Bass Shops and wonder of all wonders, it actually fit!! It’s nice to know that when you need replacement items for your boat Bass Shops supports!! I know it sounds small, but it certainly is nice to know you don’t have to deal with the time consuming irritants one receives when trying to find matching replacement parts for a boat.

The cup holders are well made. The sand color is quite a bit lighter than they appear in the picture, maybe an antique white.

Not anything to dislike fits and replaced the one I lost

Great product for your boat. Others I have bought had sticky adhesion and did not last long in the hot boat. This guy does not spill my drink, keeps it cold and stays attached to my boat. It is a little sloppy for a cup without the foam sleeve and a little tight for certain drinks with the sleeve in place.

Best non-spill drink holder on the market. I have this mounted in all my vehicles and toys. Am also working on a mount for my motorcycle (Honda CBR929RR). Have not spilled a drink since I found this product.

I actually purchased this swivel drink holder for my push golf cart! It works great and was easy to install. Now my beverages don’t spill going up or down hills! Highly recommend. Very good value.

This product was an exact replacement for my boat. They appear to be better built and lasting longer. I would recommend this to others.

My cupholder blew away and i needed a new one. This one fit fine and does the job. It is a cupholder, and not much can be said about it other than it does its job.

To be able to mount with double faced tape (don’t want screw holes in boat for something that’s plastic) had to cut and prime a piece of wood to place behind it. WESTMARINE could you make the next run of these with a flush back?!.

Installed several of these. Loved them at first, they have all broken in one way or another in less than a year. Not under heavy use. In fact, cruising conditions are on a very calm, smooth riding bay.

So these require screw mounting. I wanted to use industrial velcro for them so I could place and remove. the back of them isn’t flat though, it has raised areas where the screws adhere and gaps in between.
