If you need to have a tablet in your vehicle for any reason? Than this will work for you! It’s very easy to setup and has plenty adjustments. It’s built pretty tuff also! It even fit with my case that’s pretty thick actually.

Make sure your cup holder is in a position that you’ll be able to utilize the tablet and not have it too close to you so you have to look down upon it. Good luck, I really like it!.

We use this tablet holder in a ford transit 350 to hold and iPad Air 2 in a folio case and it fits nicely. We do a lot of maps/directions and this allowed us to adjust the iPad to the perfect viewing angle that keeps our eyes on the road more.

I will say that the depth of an iPad it can hold is a bit minimal. It can definitely hold an iPad without a case, but once you put it in a case, it starts to get tighter. The folio fits nicely and a tough case (like an otter box) can be held, but barely.

If your case has a hand strap on the back, it will probably not fit. Overall though, it does as advertised and is a sturdy metal arm. The cup part seems like it will fit most cup holders, as it is expandable.

I wanted to use my tablets in car for GPS and maps, but I could not find anything that would not fall down or slide on the dash. I had a cup holder for tablets before, so I was hesitant to try another.

However I am extremely pleased with this one. The price might be more than you want to pay, but this is well worth the price. It is very sturdy metal framing that securely locks in place. There are two extension pieces that allow it to become longer.

Since it has two points of motion in the frame you can contort it anyway that allows you to comfortably view or use your tablet. An iPad Pro 9. 7 and a Fire HD 10 and 8 fit perfect. Easy to remove and insert.

The metal clips that hold the tablets also have 3M soft pads so they don’t scratch the ends. I have my iPad in Otterbox and it still works perfect. I am very pleased and give it a full 5 stars.

I was hesitant at first because of the price and not really familiar with the company, the mount came in the mail super quick it laid around for several days before i opened the package possibly out of hesitation of the product and the price and finally i put it together and WOW! just the feel of the material used to create this mount was worth its price! and that being said without using it, the instructions were fairly easy to follow assembly was a piece of cake and i took it downstairs to my Jeep Gladiator and it fit perfectly! It looks great! and It passed my test drive.

I use the mount to hold my ipad Pro and my Lenovo Yoga Thinkpad. I am definitely 1000% glad I made this purchase, the initial shellshock of the price quickly vanished after realizing the quality of the mount.

This product is sturdy overall. The cup holder adjustment works well, the metal arms and connection points are strong. The option of having different sizes for the iPad holder clips is nice, but the bumpers to stop them from sliding out are cumbersome and don’t seem to fit tight enough to actually stop the bumpers from popping out.

Minimal assembly instructions.

After trying other mounts for my tablet which is used for navigation I purchased my Tackform cup holder mount. It’s secure in the truck, has a firm grip on my tablet and almost no vibration. Great product which I highly recommend.

Just returned from a one month camping trip through the mountains of Eastern Oregon and Northern Nevada and the tablet holder worked awesome. It was easy to set up, fit my Galaxy Tab S2 9. 7 with it’s case on it with no problem, the adjustment was a breeze and it took a hell of a beating and worked flawlessly throughout.

I spent a lot of time either four wheeling or on terrible roads and thought for sure with the weight of the tablet and the amount of shaking it underwent this thing was destined to fail. I was wrong, it took all that I threw at it without a single problem.

Set up was a breeze, it took no more than 5 minutes to initially adjust it for the tablet, get it tightened in the cup holder and dial in the viewing angles. Switching from my tablet to my phone was also easy, I just slipped the tablet out and replaced it with the phone, no change in adjustment was necessary.

On the occasion when I had to move it from one cup holder to another it took only seconds to do so. When I left the car parked for awhile and wanted the tablet out of sight it was simple to just slip it out of the holder when I left and easy to replace when I returned.

What a great product at spectacular price! It’s one of the best buys I made for the trip. I highly recommend it.

This holder works perfectly for my outsized phone. Because my cup holder is in the rear of the console, it rotates and tips forward. I would not look down to the screen in heavy traffic, but have BT connection.

Great for a tablet too.

The product works very well. Tge only con is that, although the width of the item is adjustable and it rotates, there is no holder adjustability for depth. It will not adequately or tightly hold and item with and extended battery and case.

If this were to be updated with the depth adjustability, I would give it 5 stars. Other than that, it snugs up well to just about any static cup holder and maintains it’s position with item intact. Don’t try to go off road with it, but for all else, it seems fine.

Developer, please let me know when you make the update with adjustable arm depth.

Macally made a nice cup holder at a very reasonable price. It is adjustable to fit most cars, and most phone/GPS devices. The majority of parts are a sturdy plastic material. It will not reach up past the dashboard, more like midway between shifter and top of dash in a standard car/SUV (too low for a truck or large SUV).

It works nicely for our RAV4.

It holds my phone still and adjusts well for all angles. It has a sturdier feel than most phone accessories, which can be flimsy or have too much play. I appreciate that it came packaged in plain old cardboard instead of wasteful, troublesome plastic.

This product did not fit well in my cup holder. Plus, I drive a stick shift so I couldn’t shift my car without constantly hitting the phone Mount. If it could be raised a bit higher up, it would’ve worked better? So not what I was looking for, though it may work better in most cars which are automatic.

Like the extra long neck. Keeps my mobile device within reach. However, the holder for phone is too small to hold larger phones like my galaxy note 8 securely. Had to swap out holder with a larger one.

This phone mount works great and has a long enough neck to get the phone positioned where it needed to be for easy viewing. There was plenty of adjustment to tighten up in the cupholder of the car I used it in but if you have a vehicle with very large cupholders, there are pads you can attach to the sides that will make it tighten up in those as well.

The quality is good and the ease of use couldn’t be much better.

Wish I would have thought of this. Fits right in cup holder. Adjustable. Grips phone without sliding. Keeps hands free while driving. I’m told my voice is clear while talking using this device. I had a device that clipped to the air vent, but the air conditioning noise made it hard for others to hear me on the phone.

This has solved that problem.

I bought this for my iPad because I drive for a ride share company and I love always have to use a big screen when I’m working. This iPad holder is very flexible. You will be able to move you tablet in any position you’d like.

It’s very sturdy strong. It made from quality material ND FIT NICELY IN THE CUP HOLDER. THE FACT THAT I DONT LIKE TO PUT MY DEVICES ON THE DASHBOARD THIS THING GAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO USE IT IN A CUP HOLDER.

I am a storm chaser and searched for a good solid mount for my tablet that I didn’t have to mount to seat bolt, drill holes or strap to a seat. I am not disappointed in this. From top to bottom this mount is quality built.

It does not budge once you set it in place. Easy to position how you want. Good for a variety of cup sizes. Folds down fairly compact. Only two things I have to say negative about it is that it isn’t great for really deep cupholders.

and I wish they made a model for a larger tablet size. With tablets getting lighter and larger, seeing one that fits a tablet up to like 14″ would be nice.

Extremely well built. Much stronger than I could have expected from a cupholder tablet mount. This mount stays put even on rough roads very impressive considering the weight of my tablet.

Perfect for the rear view screen on our travel trailer. This is the best solution for a tablet screen that we only use when towing! Not five stars because the base is smaller than our cup holder and there is no way to make it a bit bigger to fit.

Paper towels solved that issue.

Prior to buying this I had a phone mount that was on a suction cup. There wasn’t enough of a flat smooth surface on my dashboard to hold the suction, and it would stick to my window for a few hours or a few days but the suction cup wouldn’t hold firmly enough that I could trust it to stay.

I never tried a vent clip phone mount because that also seemed like it would fall easily (or at the worst times). This model is so sturdy and the design fits so firmly I never have to worry! I have an odd-shaped not quite round cup holder next to my steering wheel, so I have to wiggle it a bit and spend an extra minute adjusting it when I first put it in (it’s designed to work best in a round shape), but that extra minute is well worth it for the peace of mind I have knowing my phone isn’t going anywhere once it’s in.

And because of my extra cup holder placement by the dash, I have my phone right where I can see it and reach it without hardly taking my eyes off the road. This has made longer road trips *soooo* much easier! I can’t imagine using another type of phone mount.

Only one quibble: the instructions that come with it could be clearer. When I read them I was confused as to which way to turn it to loosen it and which way to turn to tighten it and it was very stiff at the beginning – which is not bad because you don’t want it to turn too easily but didn’t help my confusion because I couldn’t get it to move at first no matter which way I turned.

Finally a family member figured it out and kept turning it the right way until it moved, and then it made sense and worked fine.

I bought this phone mount for my wife to improve the functionality of hands free driving. This device keeps the phone in a simple location so that there is no hurried searching for her phone. The product couldn’t have been simpler to install and worked perfectly in our vehicles cupholder.

Arranging it also couldn’t have been simpler. It is rigid enough to hold position but not so rigid that it is hard to adjust. The grasping mechanism is soft enough to not damage the phone yet robust enough to not drop it.

The releasing mechanism is also easy to reach and effortless to use. This was a great purchase for the price and I’d recommend it to anyone, unless they do not have cup holders.

This purchase was a slight miscalculation on my part. The type of vehicle I own would be better suited for another style of phone grip based on the style of cup holder in the front seats. In this case I can’t not recommend this product due to an error on my part.

It doesnt hold to glass under its own weight w/o a tablet (despite what were led to believe, there is really no air displacement when you push the suction cup in and lock it). Only gravity keeps the upper tablet holder in place/connected to the base.

Rough roads?. can see this thing coming apart and cracking the tablet in the process. Upon unboxing, when I carefully slid the top portion into the grooves of the base, one of the four chintzy tabs that keeps it in broke off! Nothing solid keeps it together! The item comes without a box, inside bubble wrap within a cheap plastic shipping bag only, and without any paperwork/directions whatsoever.

Expect a $7 item, bought in bulk for under two dollars from China, resold at 3. 5-4x markup. Not worth returning, once you receive see what it really is.

The sales info and various pictures show it attaching to a dashboard. I’ve tried three different vehicles with three different types of dashboards, and it does not attach and hold to them. If you can make it work off the window, it works, but not off of a textured dashboard.

Works well for the price. The arms are made to grab an extremely thick tablet or e-reader. The grip area is over an inch thick. Also, the arm and suction cup shakes a lot if your tablet is marginally heavy.

Mocked up with an iPad 1 and it shakes a lot while driving. But for the price, you get what you get.

This cupholder smartphone mount is awesome works pretty much perfectly. Just needs a mount for an ipad or tablet! which i really need. Then it would be the ultimate in car accessories. There is 2 cons in my opinion which is when fully extended i find the main shaft to be a little wobbly and not as sturdy and the other is the stepped cup holder grip doesnt give much surface area to grip the best as there is 3 steps.

All in all i love it and think its the best 1 i have seen and used and i recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile phone mount.

It’s heavy duty made. I recommend it for trucks with lots of space in the cup holder area. In a truck it sits a lot higher than in a car and far away from my elbow resting place and I can face it in front of my view so I can keep eyes on 5e road.

In my car the cup holder sits lower and close to my elbow so it can get in the way. I have to look down and to my right and take my eyes off the road to look at phone Incase I want to change a music station.

I guess it all depends on the car type and location of elbow room and cup holder area.

The extended cup holder mount is by far the best smartphone holder on the market. The phone can be set up such that you don’t have to reach for the phone. Also it’s not sitting up on the dashboard for all to see.

It is also the most secure mount. Tighten it in the cup holder and it doesn’t move. Great design. Glad i bought it. You can also maneuver the bracket to put the phone where it is comfortable for the individual.

Inevitably after about 2-3 years of use these break or the release fails. I just buy another! I don’t like that they seem disposable, but they are really well designed for my cup holder in my service truck.

Nothing else really works. This last time I bought 2 in case the 1st breaks I can swap it right there. I like how it angles the phone perfect I can bend it just right to view and it holds my Samsung A12 with a large leather case just fine.

The design as far as the mounting base goes is good, but the actual part that hold the phone is not. My LG Harmony has a case on it. Not a very bulky protective case, but a case nonetheless, and the tabs on the bottom of where the phone sits into are too narrow and the clamps on the side are too.

Narrow as in they don’t hold the phone with the protective case securely enough. Now when taking my phone OUT of it’s protective case it fits fine, but this holder is not suitable if you have a protective case on your phone.

See pictures for more on what I’m describing. Overall nice product though. It’s definitely better than nothing and will be very suitable for those who do not have a protective case on their phones. I do recommend this product if you don’t mind modifying it slightly.

I’m using this in a 2005 Mazda 6 sedan. It took a trick but I’m able to adjust it so it will stay put in the cupholder. My issue was with the angle; because the cupholders are vertically aligned, I end up having to hold a drink instead of it being in the other holder to keep the optimal viewing and operating angle.

That said, it does hold a free government phone in place perfectly. Just be prepared to fiddle around with getting it to stay secure in the cupholder.

Great sturdy item. Fits perfect in my cup holder. Really like that it has USB ports for charging. The top rotates without having to adjust the cup holder which is nice for the passenger Incase they want to navigate the maps.

Your phone can be viewed vertically or horizontally which is nice for looking at maps on the wide screen. My only issue is that the indicator light stays on when plugged into the cigarette lighter even after the car is turned off.

I wish there were an on/off button, not sure if it would drain the car battery if you kept it plugged in. I like this phone holder over the magnet holder since I’ve had issues with the magnets not holding ( even with a MagSafe phone case).

It always swiveled, never stayed in one place. Now its broken from the cup. I got this after the one I had with Suction gave out and never attached back to the dashboard. Thought this was going to be the answer but no.

Using the Vent phone holders make no sense in the winter time when you have to turn the heat on in your car. So you phone gets hot hanging on the vent. not a great solution. I guess now I will get the one that hangs from the rear view mirror.

This one was a total annoyance. Swining alll over the place and never staying still or locking in position. now the arm has broken off and is sitting in the other spare cupholder. Not a long term solution.

I bought this after having two other brands that did not hold up. It may be more expensive but is definitely worth it as it is very well made. When I received it I was a little surprised by its size, bigger than most.

Yet, it fits beautifully in my cup holder. It is versatile with its different charging ports. I chose to adhere the magnet plate to my cellphone case. The phone stays in place. However I did find out that the magnet precludes my using my cellphone charging plate without my taking off the case.

So I just use the regular port on the phone to charge in the house.

Smartest and most clever dashmount ever !! Had to knew this years ago! Just use the unused cd/dvd player slot. No suction cups or adhesive mounts ever more. Everyone is nowadays listening car music via USB or Bluetooth.

So you need no other one, if you also want also like to use a tablet in your car. Bigger screen for navigation etc.

So I was looking for a car mount to hold a phone and big enough for a tablet. So I settled for this universal cd slot mount. Now, this is all plastic but I have never had any issues with satechi products.

As truck driver, I rely on my tablet for Google Maps. My phone is ok, sometimes but I prefer using my tablet. I have tried the CD player type holders,, and a couple others with not much success. This one is just what the Dr ordered.

There are few limits on positioning it to meet most mobile needs. It is sturdy and pretty stable so it doesn’t bounce around like some I’ve tried. You will not be disappointed.

I purchased this item, mounted it my truck. It lasted about 2 months before it broke at the base. Inside is a threaded piece of soft aluminum. My Sumsung Tab E 7″ isn’t that heavy. I would not purchase nor recommend purchasing this item if your tablet is in daily use and docked in this mount.

I love this. I drive a lot for work and it has made my life so much easier. I upgraded my phone to a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (almost the size of the Note) with a military style case and it still fits but anything any bigger may have issues I love the lock and release on the bottom, it makes it easier to insert the charging plug!.

Full disclosure, I expected to hate this. I actually really like it. Yes, it takes up a cup holder, but I don’t mind it. it comes out easy enough if I need 2 cup holders and then I just put my phone in the center console.

The magnets were the hard thing to attach. They don’t like attaching directly to the back of a phone, so you can attach them to the back of your case and they should NEVER come off. This phone has NEVER fallen off while driving and i am only using the small magnet (and my phone is the Galaxy 22 ultra with a heavy phone case.

The pros: This is VERY sturdy feeling and sleek looking. It’s high quality for sure. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy other products from this company. The con: This is magnetic – and requires the addition of a magnet to the phone, whether attached to the phone, the case, or placed between the phone and case.

That may not bother some but I’m not comfortable keeping a magnet that close to my phone longer than the time it took to test this out based on my own research. I’d rather have a phone holder that physically holds the phone in place than a magnet.

But that’s just me – maybe that doesn’t bother you. It does work to keep the phone in place.

I purchased this for my phone an the cup base expands just fine. Went to put my phone on it and there was no bite at all!! Took the cover off of the phone and still no grip. I know there’s a magnet in there because I did use it to pick up paper clips but I don’t use paperclip GPS.

Tremendously disappointed! Don’t you be, if you need a magnetic phone holder for your vehicle, don’t buy this one!.
