I purchased three Nanuk 925 cases to use for side and top cases for my motorcycle. I had similar knock-off style cases originally, but having to either use multiple padlocks, pinlocks, etc. , was a pain to carry and use.

Nanuk has optional TSA locking latches that replace the original latches and I purchased three sets keyed-alike so I only have to use one key. In my opinion, the Nanuk 925 cases have nicer aesthetics to other similar style cases.

This combined with the ability to have locking latches made me decide to purchase them to replace the ones I have been using. Plus, I liked supporting a Canadian company. Hard Cases was very attentive and sorted out any issues painlessly.

I’ve used this tool daily on the job as an electronics technician for over 10 years. It is as close to perfect as a person could reasonably expect. It’s comfortable, extremely well-designed and built, reasonably light, and even beautiful.

The locking feature of *all* the tools in the handles adds a nice dose of safety that is lacking in lesser tools. Some say that Victorinox tools are maybe a bit “softer” or more rounded than others, but I can tell you after my extensive time with heavy and sometimes hard use in a steel mill that it is remarkably durable.

Nothing has failed, broken, or seized on me. I will probably sooner lose it than wear it out. It’s even easy to clean. It’s difficult to find any faults with this tool, or even ideas on how it could be improved.

The amount of tasks I can complete with this alone is impressive. It’s general-purpose, but works especially well for electrical and electronics. The notch in the wire cutter works well as an adjustable wire stripper.

The scissors are excellent for cutting very small wires or strands, i. e. those in ethernet cable before crimping. The pliers can get the job done turning the odd smaller bolt (tip: cover the bolt head with a rag to avoid marring it).

The awl is great for the odd poking job, for reaming out holes cut in metal, and for cutting holes by itself in plastic. The file is excellent for smoothing rough edges on metal. The fine screwdriver is perfectly sized for the small terminal screws common in electronics.

The phillips driver is sturdy, well sized for #1-#2 heads, and has excellent reach. The large screwdriver is very sturdy, provides even more torque than a typical screwdriver, and is excellent for prying.

The round blade is great for scoring cable before stripping off the jacket. The chisel is great for scraping off stuff like adhesive from a surface you’re trying to clean. I’ve even used the saw to completely cut through large, multi-conductor cable, and was amazed at how well it worked for that.

It also zips right through plastic. Unless you need some specific odd tool this doesn’t have, or maybe you need more bulk, your search ends here. Especially if you’re in the electrical field.

I’ve purchased the Swiss Tool Spirit MX Clip along with the Swiss Tool MXBS together. What I like about this tool are, it’s light and has a clip to carry in your pocket. Second, the one hand opening of the large blade.

Third, it comes with most of the classic tools. Fourth, the look and feel of Victorinox quality they’re known for. Before you buy, and you are new to the Victorinox Swiss Tools models, know that this Swiss Tool Spirit MX is slightly smaller than the MXBS.

And, because it has a clip, it doesn’t come with a nylon sheath nor does it come with additional tools for example, a ratchet, bit set, a corkscrew attachment like their other Swiss Tool models but, the Swiss Tool Spirit MX is fine as it is.

With proper use, it’s built to tackle most of your daily task. However, for the heavier duty tasks, you may want the larger Swiss Tool models. Like the saying goes, take care of your tools and your tools will take care of you.

Maintenance of your Swiss Tool is important as well. Again, this Swiss Tool Spirit MX with clip is portable, rugged and classy. I like it. If you’re experienced tradesmen, a casual weekend warrior, a novice or veteran “everyday carry” (EDC) collector then, you’ll like it too.

And, it’ll be a nice addition to your collection.

I bought this a few years ago vacationing in NC. I was whittling stuff with my Carving knives, but realized it wasn’t convenient to haul them around. This knife fills the bill. 3 Super sharp blades to choose from.

The handle, it turns out, is the best part. The “Pocket Worn” scales eliminate any hot spots and allow for hours of whittling with no blisters. Its also really comfortable in your pocket. The blades are easy to keep razor sharp too.

Just strop it on the back side of your belt. I like this knife so much I just purchased another for my brother. I really love this knife!.

This Trapper looks very nice, similar to the pictures but the edge on both blades is horrible. I could see by eye that something was awry with the cutting edges and when I inspected them closer with a magnifying glass I could recognize markings I am familiar with.

These blades had been sharpened with a pull through sharpener, the kind of cheap sharpener that has a slot with tungsten carbide in a Vee shape and you pull the blade through the Vee shaped slot several times to “sharpen” it.

This will get the knife to cut but really messes up the edge. This type of knife should be sharpened using sharpening stones or using powered sanding belts. It took me almost 45 minutes on my sharpening stones to repair the edges on both blades and NOW this pretty little knife is ready for use.

I would have rated this at 5 stars but for the fact that I had to fix the edges on this brand new knife. Case would never ship a knife sharpened this way. I don’t know what happened. I am happy I could restore it to good condition.

Usually Case produces quality stuff just not this time.

Im at war with all the imported junk. Its comforting to know that theres still a high quality American-made pocket knife still in existence. Before retirement I carried an Old Timer stockman at work but I packed a Case 6233SS on the weekends, when I might have on a suit or attended a party.

The small 2-blade design was just right for cleaning fingernails, opening a letter, cutting the ribbon on a wrapped gift or removing a stray thread on a jacket while still requiring so little pocket real estate.

The high-polish and precision assembly is impressive to the touch and the eye. To be perfectly picky, the only flaw was the factory grind on the blades which were coarse and unrefined. Still only a proper strapping was required to produce razor edge.

The perfect compliment to the well-equipped grandfather.

This is another Great addition to my knife collection. I love all the detail this knife has. If you collect knives or just want to get one, this would be a good choice. The price was right too. A high 5star rating.
