I finally got to my mailbox, and was blown away by the fit and finish, supremely high quality of this wallet. There are no rough edges, everything is seemed perfectly. The leather is really good quality and this beast is dead sexy! You won’t regret purchasing this! Leather perfection.

I found there product to be very nice, I went through **** and back with problems with there customer service, no return emails from either customer service or the owner of the company who brags about his product but refuses to satisfied his customers.

Everything is about him I fall under the service/first responder discount, and one day they honor it then they don’t. I wanted to order a second piece from them and there so greedy that they refused to back any discount for retuning customers.

There’s so many companies out there I believe this company needs to become more customer based, because let’s face it there’s 5 dollars in leather and no more the twenty dollars in other materials. The owner always has a smile on his face because he’s laughing at all of suckers that are giving him $150.

00 on a $40. 00 product. I believe in his goals, I believe in his product I certainly don’t believe in him treating return customers who frankly can’t put out hundreds of dollars for 2 wallets. I was going to try and do a review for my department but refuse to do it with the wallet that I carry as I don’t want it damaged with 200 hundred hands all over it.

Again e-mailed the owner with absolutely no response ever, in my opinion that’s a major flaw. My last problem is they charge for engraving your name or rank. It arrived and in need a microscope to read it absolutely stealing from people with this disgraceful practice and if you can’t do a better job then stop doing it, it is a total insult.

Again no response from the owner only smiles as he collects his funds. In conclusion I have tried everything to help get this company some publicity, to get there product out to my department and I wanted to make it clear that this company is not on your side but on the side of the almighty dollar.

The owner refused to e-mail me, call me or even say thank. The woman in customer service just forget about any help from them, they read off q-cards given to them by the owner I’m sure. I’m going to post this on social media just so people understand what kind of company and people you may be getting **** into.

This wallet cost more than twice what I was wanted to pay, but, more than the other wallets I was interested in, it appeared to be well made, durable, and fit my needs. One requirement was to be maintenance free or at least minimal maintenance.

Many of the wallets out there are mechanical devices that will break or fail in some fashion. I don’t want to be the person in a checkout line that can’t get a credit card out because of a mechanical failure.

This one meets that requirement. Even if this one was to fail in some way, it wouldn’t prevent me from getting out a card or cash. I also didn’t want to have to memorize which compartment I put what things in.

There’s only two and I can see everything that is in one of them. This is also why my daughter said, “It looks like your wallet is wearing a thong. ” The leather strap that creates the place you can place folded bills, looks like a thong or G-String, and like a thong, you can see everything inside.

I admit however, it works great. My money stays in place, and every time I look at it, I chuckle. After using it for a few weeks, all seems fine and I’m happy with the purchase. Cards slide in and out easy enough.

There are some complaints in the reviews about chip cards being scratched because the metal holding the clasp is right over where the chip is. I put my license as the first card. If the wallet scratches my license picture, it might improve it.

I get a new one every 4 years anyways. I “think” the metal post is over where the chip is to provide the RFID protection, but not positive on that. Making the adjustments to the wallet to your specific needs is easy, but (and this is my only negative on the purchase) the tool that is provided to make the adjustments, isn’t that good for this job.

The tool itself isn’t a bad tool, but the Torx screws are a size 6 and using an L shaped tool makes it easy to strip the screw head. This is because the wallet comes with the screws installed and are fairly tight, making it necessary to use the tool with the short end in the screw and the long end in your hand.

On larger screws this isn’t an issue but on smaller ones, it is easy to tilt the tool, which leads to stripping the screw heads. This means that the customer is given an inexpensive tool that meets the bare minimum of being able to do the job, that the manufacturer did with a 6 or 8 inch Torx screwdriver.

If you go to the Trayvax Enterprises YouTube channel, you can see the screwdriver I’m talking about at the top of the page. They don’t need to provide one as well made as that one (looks calibrated), but it should be screwdriver style and not Allen Wrench style.

This will allow more downward force which will prevent stripping the screws. Looking through reviews, screws stripping and people having difficulty tightening the screws comes up often. That aside, once the adjustments are made, getting cards and money in and out is easy, and while in, they are secure.

I have to admit I was a little concerned about the Adjustable Sliding Clasp, but it is much more secure than I thought it would be. You should pay attention how you open it though. Don’t just pull on it like you would if it was a snap closure.

That is probably why some people complain about the Post breaking in the Reviews. Pull the strap towards the opposite end and then lift it over the Closure Post. It looks like a snap closure, but functions differently so you have to open it differently.

Offering engraving is a nice touch so you can personalize it. All in all I’m very happy with the purchase so far and expect to have this wallet for a very long time.

Fairly early stage review, I’ve carried it daily for a couple days and have some thoughts to share. Size wise, it’s a perfect way to downsize from a foldable bifold or trifold style wallet. The top grain leather is great quality compared to run of the mill (genuine) leather options.

The titanium is a nice premium touch, though the top metal part is steel I believe. Bottle opener works well! Nice surprise. I carry about 6-7 credit card size cards, as well as a few thinner membership or insurance cards, and it’s about a one inch stack.

Getting cards out quickly takes some getting used to but it is quick to put back in. While not as fast cash access as a bifold, i think this is more geared towards card use versus cash. Money clip style or bifold wallets seem to lead for quick cash access.

For possible improvements, I’d love to see flush screws so it does not feel like it’s going to irritate pocket liners. The screws aren’t sharp however, they do protrude from the framing and can be felt if the non-leather size faces your thigh in front pocket carry.

An offering of a military tarp style back as opposed to leather would also be good for even more durability. For reference, I’m thinking of the material used on pull-the-dot loops. I think that would be bombproof if cut to the leather design.

Possibly even 500D codura would work. I’d love to compare this to other wallets in the lineup such as the element, but thus far I’m satisfied with this one.

The wallet is great! Nice and minimalistic, leather colour is amazing, aging very nicely. However there is just one slight problem. I dont think its anything wrong with the wallet, just the leather. Its covered in scratches! Ive had it for three weeks and it looks like Ive own it for a year and I own a cat.

Although it is soft leather and is prone to scratches but Im not a fan. If anyone wants to help me out and give recommendations on how to fix it, please. But other than this, the wallet is great. Serves its purpose the best Ive ever had.

Nice quality leather and craftsmanship wallet. Though it’s a bit small if you have a lot of documents with you – i have 2 residents cards because of my dual citizenship and 2 driver’s license, aside from 4 other bank cards and instant payment cards – i wasn’t able to fit all of them comfortably.

You have space for at most 5-6 banknotes before it becomes too cramped. It’s also too small for euro banknotes, which are 1 inch longer than dollars. I will use it because of the RFID protection and have another one for cash.

I’ve tried a lot of “minimalist” wallets that only carry a few cards because I don’t like how the thicker wallets fit in shorts / pants pockets. I’ve tried Ridge wallets, Herschel wallets, cheap knockoffs on Amazon, etc, and I encountered things I didn’t really like about all of them.

My one disappointment is that while the materials might be sourced in Chicago or elsewhere in the USA, the actual goods are manufactured in China as my wallet shipped directly from China, but at the same time, shipping was less than 2 days from China and was less than $10.

I have been search for a wallet for quite a long time. They either are to big, not functional enough for me or the quality just is not there. Then I sad the ad on social media for the Nomad Slim Wallet.

I immediately ordered it without a second thought. As I know that Nomad product quality is top notch. When it arrived, its exactly what I have expected from Nomad. It looks good, feels good and have a great functionality.

Paired together with the Tile slim to track the wallet, the functionality is over the top. I actually had to use this function to locate my wallet. You know the spaces around the drivers seat in the car? The black hole spaces that make your coins, lighters, actually everything that is loose in your hoodie / jacket pockets, disappear? Well it happened to me on the first day of using the Slim Wallet.

I have parked my car and went to the office. When I arrived I have found out that my wallet is missing. I started the Tile app and saw that the wallet was located where my car was parked. I went over there checking the ground, thinking that it might have fallen out.

Nothing. I have opened the car and started to check the bottom, but yet again nothing. Through the app I have send a command to Tile Slim to play a tune and finally I have found it between the seat and the gear shift / handbrake space.

I was a little hesitant to switch from my old leather bi-fold wallet, since that is the type I’ve always used for many years. After seeing more ads for various minimalist wallets, and seeing a couple in person, from friends who have them, I decided to look into buying one.

Consumer Reports was my first place to look, and I saw how the Ekster Senate wallet received the best reviews from Consumer Reports. After watching countless You Tube videos, comparing various brands of minimalist wallets against each other, the choice was clear to me to go with Ekster.

At this point it was only a matter of choosing one of the many different styles of Ekster wallets, and I chose the Carbon Forged wallet. While it’s only been a couple of weeks since I switched from the old bi-fold, to the Ekster, I already notice how much nicer the Ekster feels in the (front) pocket, as compared to the old bi-fold, not to mention how much unnecessary items I had been carrying around in the older wallet.

There are some accessories in which I have been looking at buying, to go along with my new Ekster, but for now, I’m just happy to be getting used to enjoying my new (and first) minimalist wallet. I realize there are some minimalist wallets on the market that provide more ads, but do yourself a favor and carefully do your own research, and I think you’ll end up getting an Ekster for yourself.

I will honestly say, I’ve been holding back on upgrading my badly beaten up wallet. When I finally was ready, I was to late to earn the free money clip that was there as a bonus with a wallet purchase.

That was a bummer but I guess I took to long. I went ahead and purchased the Aluminum Cardholder in a metallic Silver with the Tracker Card. Both items actually came in 2 days sooner than scheduled which was awesome.

This wallet… is pretty damn slick. It’s thin, not bulky and the built feels very durable. It has a awesome overall look. I was actually impressed. I slipped 6 cards in the slot. Activated the tracker card and placed it under the additional exterior slot.

It still feels slim. Works smoothly and DEFINITELY my kind of wallet that feels like it takes up minimum space in my pockets(front or back). Especially good for keeping a minimal look for a night out at the bars instead of a bulky wallet in the back pocket.

Fits well with my skinny jeans. The ONLY thing I wish I could change is switching out the ‘sliver’ (I think) rubber band for a ‘black’ band instead. Just because I feel like it may bother me if the band looks or gets dirty and will stand out on the silver band rather than in a black band.

Other than that it’s definitely recommended.

This is the perfect wallet. I cannot think of a single way to improve the Ekster AirTag Wallet. I’m so happy someone took the time to design this, and do so with the best quality. I already had the non-AirTag version of this, but switched the moment I saw this was available and I’m so glad I did.

I had the original parliament wallet for several years and it finally broke. I really loved the wallet so much that I wanted to get the same one but then I saw the air tag wallet. Sometimes I lose my wallet, so having the airtag with the wallet feels reassuring.

I decided to give it a try and it was great. I was thinking that if I put the wallet in my back pocket, I would feel the airtag sticking out but it turns out, you don’t really feel it at all. This is a great and very innovative wallet.

The wallet replaced my current wallet as it was become quite bulky filled with receipts as it had empty space. I had kept extra cards, partly because I was too lazy to clean it up as I didn’t need to given that there was still space.

Switching to this wallet has allowed me to declutter the “baggage” I was carrying and be more organized. I am amazed how much fits in the small footprint. I am also thankful that I will not “misplace” my wallet as the air tag keeps me in the “know”.

At age 67, switching from an old-style wallet was a risk. I hated the bulk of traditional wallets, but appreciated having room for a lot. That said, I’ve always been at the forefront of using technology (studied FORTRAN in the early 70s in HS, had PCs and been online since the late 70s), so I really do have everything on my smartphone these days.

I’ve even switched to a Keysmart for my keys and don’t carry around all those small scan-able loyalty cards. I just had to make the mental switch to using the phone more. The government has yet to make an online version. Yes, I have a photo of it on my phone, but most medical places want the card to make a photocopy. My local library has a scan-able tag but it’s a non-standard bar-code which Google or Samsung wallet won’t accept, so it lives in the strap of my Parliament along with a small amount of cash and a Visa gift card because the cardholder is full already.

Glad I didn’t get a tracker, there’s no room int he cardholder as it is, and the back pocket holds a somewhat thicker proximity keycard I need for access at one place I work. Oh, and silly me forgot to respond fast enough when I first got the wallet a few weeks ago to get the free money clip.

I’m using a paperclip for now. I do love the way the card holder works, and how it doesn’t get accidentally caught in the pocket like some other designs that stick out. The quality and craftsmanship appear solid.

I was hesitant because I have always held so much. crap in my wallet. But I really liked the way these wallets looked and functioned. Finally for my birthday this year my wife got it for me. I AM IN LOVE.

I literally show this to everyone I know with a whole sales pitch and everything. I have already been given 3 compliments from strangers in 3 weeks. Just from the scenario you would imagine; I whip out my wallet at Walmart to pay the cashier = Whoa! Thats a cool wallet! I had one woman recognize that it was an Ekster wallet and had questions because she had been considering getting her husband one! I am pretty sure she turned around and pulled the trigger! (bought a wallet to be clear!) I must say though.

I absolutely needed the version that has a fold. Realistically with used cards. (bent and what not) it fits 5 in the pop up and 3 in the other pockets (the fold). Plus the money strap seems loose for just a couple bills, but with too many bills significantly raises the fold when in the folded position.

So without the fold I would be concerned my money could slide out. To play devils advocate though. without the fold there would be no real width gain if you were to put more bills in the strap. More bills= tighter fit, less concerns with losing money.

Personally though the extra card pockets are a godsend. I have insurance cards in one pocket. My “do not use unless emergency” card in one and my ID in the exterior pocket for quick and easy access to pull out and scan.

It fits perfectly in front pocket, but I’ve noticed its slim enough that it fits in the back pocket off to one side so when you sit it ends up off to the side of of you’re @$$ cheek. I don’t even notice that its in my pocket half the time.

ALL in ALL 10 out of 10. Its got character, its slim and sleek, and it is sure to raise some eyebrows when you are showing it off or paying the bill.

I had a leather wallet and it to rip apart, so I decided to get a replace it. I was getting tired of the leather look and decided to try something different. I found about this product through a twitch streamer(MacieJay).

I saw the style and I immediately thought this was me. I like minimalism and simplicity combined with some aesthetic. These things are gorgeous. I ordered one, and when it came 2 things bugged me. First, the logo came in dirty.

For this amount of cash I dump into for just a wallet I expect it into pristine condition on day 1 of arrival, but I’ll give the benefit of the doubt that it is unrealistic for them to inspect every wallet they manufacture.

I cleaned the logo with a piece of cloth and it was much better. Second issue was that the elastic was frayed when it arrived in the mail. I hit up customer service to use that “forever guarantee”, and they immediately sent a replacement elastic.

Few gripes here and there but I’m made whole. After owning this thing for about a month, it is totally me. Sometimes I double check my pocket to check if I have my wallet on me. Quality is nice. I carry about four cards on my person so no issues for access; however, placing money in the cash strap consumes some time.

It does let me show off the wallet more, and it’s more low profile than the cash clip. Pros and cons I suppose, but, overall, I enjoy this thing.

I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on foolishness over the years, but this plus the coin tray have been well worth every cent. The expansion is very simple, organization is obviously versatile, it’s space-saving, and convenient.

There isn’t much to complain about really, with the exception of a learning curve that was probably more of a personal problem than anything. Has taken a tumble or two and kept everything in place. its roomy and user friendly. it fits more stuff than multiple other wallets that ive had my eye on, card-wise as well as in the extra pockets. i slide my phone in the area where it turnlocks, the only downside is it slips out occassionally when its jostles itself out of that pocket tho that is not really a pocket.

it can definitely fit inside the accordion zipper pocket but im just too lazy to zip and unzip it to get to my phone. i hang several keys, keychains and a car fob from the zipper pocket tab (aka it holds some decent weight on that zipper tab) and it handles it well.

i must admit, this wallet (not this new one that I just bought, but my old wallet is the same wallet but different color) has taken a beating for over 2 years. aside from just being dirty on the outside since its cotton, it has held up extremely well.

nothing ever broke or ripped, and i have stuffed this thing to the max, i have thrown it around, all kinds of stuff. its a great wallet, it holds all that i need it to, its got lots of pockets for organization and space and it holds up well.

might i say that another clincher is the rfid feature. also im thankful for the credit card slots being easy to put 2 or 3 cards in per slot and its easy to remove cards. some wallets make it hard to remove just one card from its slot.

I absolutely love my RFID Turnlock Wallet in the Hummingbird Park design. I had received the Glenna Satchel in the same design for my birthday and couldn’t wait to match it with the wallet. (I thought my granddaughter picked it out because I love hummingbirds, but not so! She just liked the design.

Great choice I think!!) I like everything about this wallet, but the selling feature was the RFID protection that I get to keep all my cards and information safe. There is plenty of room for all my cards, both on the outside turnlock section and inside the zippered section for money.

The zippered section on the outside of the wallet is a nice feature for my change. I couldn’t be happier with my wallet as I am pretty particular about picking out the right one. This has all the features I could possibly want, including a section to fit my checkbook if I wanted it in there.

I knew before buying this wallet that I’d love it, because I already had the same product in a different fabric pattern. The ” Morning Shells” pattern matches that on the eyeglasses case I bought at the same time as this wallet.

Both are even prettier in person than in the online photo of them, and I’ve received several compliments on them. I like the change pocket on the outside of the wallet-easily accessible and roomy. There are more than enough credit card slots on the inside, and there’s even a zippered section inside next to the place I put my currency.

The eyeglasses case easily holds my ” bulkiest” frames (but a teensy bit small for my sunglasses).

This wallet does what it says it does very well. There is a difference in the materials and look of the leathers used so depending on your preferences it can be cosmetic. I have used a money clip for years for notes so baring a cardholder which can affect your card’s electronic stripe.

You need to get comfy with the feel of it on yourself if you have used a conventional wallet however it is perfect for sports coat inner pocket or suit.

I have bought over 5 Secrid wallets before this purchase so I am a big fan of this company. Given the price and the competition its hard to justify if its not perfect. The color shown in their website and this website showed a much brighter blue than the dull blue wallet that I received.

Quality wise, the wallet is fine but if I’m paying for a premium product I expect it to be accurately done.

I’ve been using 2 of Nik’s wallets (style 4 with loop) to replace my leather wallet. Wallet1 (in Black 400 Halcyon) has my credit/ debit cards on side, and Tile tracker and cash on other sides. Outside pocket is used to store shop receipts.

Wallet2 (in Island 210 Ballistic) is used for store/ reward cards. What I like: well made; works well with key strap and o-rings to provide great security (i. e. integrates well with TB ecosystem); takes up a bit less space than my leather wallet; encourages me to carry less.

What I don’t like: quite fiddly and inconvenient in everyday use: having to roll/ unroll cash; having to juggle between 2 wallets to find right credit card and reward card depending on which shop you are in.

With my leather wallet I can do all this pretty much single handed – more easy and convenient for me in everyday use. And since cash notes and credit cards are each in their own sleeve/ pocket, they are much easier to find.

In conclusion I think Nik’s wallets are great for people who want to carry minimum in their pockets ( but less suitable for me who always carries a bag, with nothing in pockets).

I’ve used a Herschel Supply Co. “Charlie” wallet for years, but was ready to make the switch to something even more compact and less stiff. I did a lot of research into the best “minimalist” wallets from a reputable and ethical company and Tom Bihn kept coming up.

I had never heard of TB before, but gave it a shot after all the positive reviews. At first when it arrived, I was worried it was too small, but the material is flexible and stretchy to hold everything.

The cards aren’t snug inside the two pockets if the wallet were to flop open, but the elastic band is strong enough that I’ve never had that happen. On one side, I have my driver’s license, insurance card, work ID, and a few loose business cards.

On the other side, I have a Tile wallet tracker, and three bank/credit cards. It fits comfortable in my pocket without being as stuff or uncomfortable as I found my old one. All in all, I’m very happy with the wallet and can see this lasting for years.

I wanted some way to organize the ever-expanding pile of stuff I keep in my pockets, but I didn’t want a nylon pouch like so many EDC guys seem to favor. I understand that nylon is technically more durable than leather, but given that I’m unlikely to be out in harsh elements all that often I wanted to get something that looked good and would look even better over time as it breaks in.

I don’t remember where I originally saw this listed, but I was super happy when I found it. It arrived yesterday, and it’s the perfect size to fit in a pocket while still being able to hold a good amount of stuff and the craftsmanship is top-notch.

I cannot recommend this enough. I keep the Buck 112 Ranger, Leatherman Rev, flat and phillips hand bits, and emergency whistle in the EDC wallet and there’s still a little bit of room to spare for a couple of other things I might add later.

The wallet is pretty much bang-on the width of an iPhone 12, about 3/4 the height, and roughly 2x as thick as the iPhone 12 (with a minimalist case).

The wallet overall is fantastic. It’s got a great solid feel that is really unmatched with other wallets. There are plenty of great, solid construction, leather wallets out there, but this one just feels like its going to last, and really hold its form too.

The zipper is top-notch, and really helps with the sold, well constructed feel. All the materials feel great. The inside is nice, with just the right amount of rough yet soft inside leather feel, and the internal flap and pocket has just the right level of stiffness.

The leather on the outside is the real star though, so soft and yet so smooth, I really just love how it feels in the hand, both to hold and fumble with. Pen loop is pretty great too, fits all kinds, even my SAK from time to time.

My only two complaints, which give it the 4/5 are in the orientation and my embossing. It’s a little hard to tell from the pictures, but the way the zipper, flap/pocket, my personal embossing, and company logo are all placed gives the wallet a “correct orientation” that means when I open it the tool side is on the left, and the pocket is on the right.

This is opposite of the pics. Not really a big deal, first if you already think thats the correct way it should open, especially if you don’t personalize it, and secondly if you don’t agonize over little things like me.

The real only complaint is with my embossing itself. Got three letters, first two are perfect but the last one cut a little deep. Probably just something about that letter, the wallet, and how it all fits in the embosser.

Again, not really a big deal, it’ll wear in over time, and just be that much more personal. All in all, I love this wallet. I love holding it, carrying it, using it, and just looking at it. Quick service too.

Will be a repeat customer for sure.

The EDC Wallet is a handy little case that is constructed of premium materials and is carefully crafted. It will hold a number of small items that might otherwise get lost in your bag, purse, or briefcase.

Right now, I have a small flashlight, a Leatherman’s Tool, and a Swiss Army Knife along with a Kaweco pen in the pen loop. My only complaint is that an A7 notebook will not fit this little case, which is a bit disappointing.

Otherwise, it is a nice little case that is well worth having! Recommended!.
