This is a great read. There are some differences from the movie. I liked the book much better. I’m glad I kept searching for a copy to keep.

This is the seventh book in the Hannah Swensen series and so far I like this one the best. Shawna Lee is back in town. Shawna Lee was Mike’s secretary. She is a tall, beautiful blonde who has she sights set on Mike.

Mike is a police officer and Hannah’s sometime boyfriend. Shawna Lee left town when her sisters husband died but now she’s back. She moves in right across the street from Hannah and opens the Magnolia Blossom Bakery.

Hannah now has competition in more areas than one. Hannah’s desserts are so much better but everyone is still going across the street. Hannah is thinking she may have to shut down The Cookie Jar. Just when things look their worst, Shawna Lee is shot.

Now Hannah and her gang must find out who killed Shawna Lee. I really liked this book because it gaves us an inside lok at Hannah’s emotions toward other people in town. It also lets us know how Hannah treats people who have betrayed her.

We met Shawna Lee’s sister in this story. She is a young woman who married an old man for money. She also killed for that money. We also learn more about Hannah’s mothers boyfriend in this story. It seems a bit odd that he is just a little too English.

Too see what I mean, you must read the book. Shawna Lee and her sister look very much alike. The murder is a case of mistaken identity. The person who killed her thought she was her sister. Now he is planning a way to kill Vanessa, Shawna Lee’s sister.

This is another story that has a story within a story. We find out that Vanessa had a whole other life in the deep South and the killer was part of that life. Although this book is part of a series it can stand alone.

It is not confusing and you can piece together who is who. I loved this book because of the jealously angle. If you get the chance to read this book, take it. Believe me, you won’t be disappointed. If you like Agatha Christie, you’ll like this book.

I fyou like Sandra Brown, you’ll like this book. This is a lot like Sandra Brown without all the sex. Take a chance, you’ll be in for a shock as to who killed Shawna Lee.

This terrific book by Ms. Fluke opens with Hannah Swenson, owner of the Cookie Jar Bakery, sitting around her empty store while her co-worker and good friend, Lisa Herman continues to rattle off the number of people by name that are going into the new Magnolia Blossom Bakery just around the corner.

Ever since the two Southern sisters, Shawna Lee and Vanessa Quinn, transplanted themselves in Lake Eden, Minnesota, Hannah’s life has hit rock bottom, not to mention her nerves. The only bright spot is the up-coming wedding of Lisa that will keep Hannah busy with cooking and planning.

But all does not fair well when Hannah learns that Shawna Lee has finagled an invite, and she has the nerve to be bringing a Southern Peach Cobbler for the reception dessert table. Hannah’s more than a little annoyed, not just because of the cobbler, but her sometime-boyfriend, Detective Mike Kingston is showing more than a little interest in Shawna Lee.

Disturbed that Shawna and Mike are both no-shows at the wedding and reception, Hannah’s curiosity gets the better of her and she sneaks over to the Magnolia Bakery and notices a light on in the back of the store.

Wanting to find out for herself what she believes to be true, Hannah goes inside, but it’s not Mike she finds, but Shawna Lee. dead! This is a fine mess, because everyone in town knew that Hannah’s bakery was losing business to the Magnolia Bakery and that puts Hannah at the top of the suspect list! With the help of friends, she has to prove her innocence and who had an axe to grind with the Quinn sisters.

Hannah was never fooled by their sweet-as-pie act and now she has to prove herself right. I loved the out-come of this story. Cheaters never prosper. The recipes in the back are to die for all by themselves! The books get better and better.

The name is perfect for the scent this candle emotes throughout the house. Pretty, light and not overpowering. It’s a nice touch and I feel it can be used in the kitchen without competition to the aromas of food.

Yet it seems to do a really fine job of cleaning the air at the same time. It does not burn to fast which is a plus making it more affordable than originally intended.

Candle did not travel well. When it arrived at my house it had sort of melted to one side. But after we managed to get the top off, it turned out to have the most amazing smell and I have been burning it everyday for a week.

I will be sad when it burns totally down because it smells so wonderful.

I have owned sooo many of these candles and these are the only higher priced candles I will buy! The scent of these candles truly fills your home, even when they aren’t lit. My favorite is the buttered maple syrup! I even have one of their scented car hangers and they are amazing too.

The last one was not left at side door and I am unable to get to front door. Doesn’t matter now I am in bed. Just had surgery and can’t walk around to front door. I have it written not to leave anything at front door but I feel sorry for the person that had to come out for just one box.

I didn’t realize there was still one missing. It’s to many times for just one more box. I tried to cancel last box when I got txt but was to late. Sorry for the trouble.

I could not believe how hard it has been for me to find an apple crisp mix at any of the three grocery stores in my city. So, I just started googling and found this brand online with good reviews. I was happy to learn that I could purchase it through Walmart.

com at a lower price than any of the other online websites. I used canned apples and followed the directions. However, my childhood memory was apple crisp using uncooked oatmeal to give it an extra “crisp”.

This mixture is more like a cobbler crust and only “crisped” up when I turned the oven to broil the last few minutes which provided a dark brown crunch to the top. I am thinking about mixing my own oatmeal in the topping to see what happens.

I like that you can use any fruit you have on hand. The order came with six boxes so that gives me plenty before I run out and it lets me try different things. So glad I ordered with the fall season coming up.

This is soooo great. This dumb dumb I live with happened to pick it up and she can mess up water she made it and it was delicious. I have made it serval times now quick easy yummy and best thing ever.

I have no clue the cost tho since I haven’t purchased it. but I am kinda cheap and I’ll buy it when we run out no matter how much it is!!!.

Was surprised that I actually liked cobbler from a box. The next time I make it, I will add 1/4 cup of brown sugar to the cake/cobbler mix and some cinnamon to the peaches. Needed to be baked about 5 minutes longer as the top was brown but the inside a tad under baked.

Vanilla ice cream as dessert or in a bowl with milk for breakfast and yummy!.

Perfect! We use to use Apple Pie Filling for our Apple Cobblers until we came along this. There are more spices added to the “cobbler filling” as opposed to the “pie filling” and it really added what we needed for our apple cobbler and I think it would work better as a pie filling also.

We were worried that it might be mostly gel but to our surprise it was full of apples! We are very pleased with this product and will continue reordering it.

Lucky Leaf Blackberry Cobbler Filling is fantastic. I love that it has whole berries and that it’s not overly sweet. It’s great for cobblers, of course, but also good in a variety of other desserts as well.

If your guests love blackberries, they’re going to love the taste of anything you make with this.

This is a delicious product at a fantastic price. I prefer Lucky Leaf to other brands and the apple cobbler filling is not easy to find where I live. this would have gotten five stars but the can arrived badly dented.

It was still usable but I had to open it immediately and refrigerate it until I could use it.

So flaky and buttery it is hard not to pass it as your own. Never liked crust as a kid, it never had flavor. This has just the right amount of homemade flavor. Like you have been baking all day. So light, crisp, and almost better then the filling.

I really enjoy these pie crust and so does my family! Especially around the holidays, so many quick delicious treats you can make with these and they’re really affordable which is great. I like to make pies and apple pie cookies is what I call them (which is pictured below) these pie 🥧 crusts make it so easy to make especially in a pinch.

is the best ever it’s my go to when making my favorite homemade pot pie. I have tried other brand but I keep coming back to pillsbury to me it’s the best. After I add my vegetables, chicken or turkey etc.

These are my favorite pie crusts. The graham cracker crusts are okay for some types of pies, but the graham cracker flavor can overpower the rest of the pie. These are my favorites for the more subtle flavor.

I make a French silk pie ala Baker Square which would taste awful with graham cracker crust. I only wish WalMart and the rest of the grocery stores would stock these shortbread crusts. I did find some at Whole Foods.

So, I order online and freeze these crusts for my holiday cream pies.

These are a handy way to put out a pie you don’t have to bake! Or, some baked recipes call for a graham cracker crust, too. If you are willing to pay a bit more for the ease of preparation, these premade crusts save so much time and effort crushing graham crackers to a fine crumb, melting the butter, mixing it up all evenly, combining it all well, and then smashing it evenly into a pie dish, which I think is the hardest step of all.

These are always perfect. Just be sure it’s not cracked when you buy it and take good care of it prior to using it. They are always beautiful.

I’ve bought this many times and always had great results. I made a pie for the neighbor and she complimented me on the homemade crust. I had to tell her the crust isn’t homemade but the rest was. I was trying out a bunch of keylime recipes and didn’t want to waste time making crusts.

We tried Louisiana Cobbler Mix when we wanted to try something new with our peach cobbler other then normal crust. I would have to say it didn’t turn out bad but it wasn’t the best i have had either.

It had a little bit of a bitter after taste which i thank may have been a bit of nutmeg in the seasoning. Other then that it bakes well and while it wasn’t quite for us I’m sure some would love it.

Bought this at my local market once, could never find it again. So I found Cajun Crate & Supply on the internet and was so delighted to find this Louisiana Cobbler Mix. It’s wonderful and easy to prepare.

Super easy and very yummy! Even the simplest way (using can fruit) is tasty but can also elevate too.

I love these mini pie crusts. Every time I make a whole pumpkin pie, there is always some extra filling remaining, and these crusts allow me to use it rather than throw it down the drain. In some ways, these are even better than the whole pie, because the edges of the crust always bake to a nice crispness with just the right touch of sweetness.

Too bad there is no zero star rating, because this product does not deserve even one star. I ordered two packs. In these packs, many crusts missed protective covers. Three crumbled to pieces from simple touch.

The rest turned into goo once filled with simple vegetarian coconut milk icing. I have learned my lesson and next time will bake the crusts myself, instead of buying bogus Keebler ones. I have put Keebler on my black list of brands to never buy from.

I do not recommend this frustrating product to anyone.

These pair good with canned cherry pie filling and some light cool whip on top. Super easy and doesn’t take long to heat up in the oven and also pretty low fat for a desert. Yum.

My husband hated canned peaches because he said they never tasted very good; but THESE PEACHES, however taste like they were just picked from a tree and my husband ASKS FOR THEM as Christmas gifts!! We always buy 3 or 4 jars every time we stop in Rural King.

Please, corporate Rural King, do not get rid of these Amish peaches – EVER!!.

Love these peaches! I always order Amish Wedding products. Can be a bit expensive, but once you taste the sweetness and quality of these peaches you will never go back to store canned products. Always fresh and worth the cost.

Im on a low salt diet and try to buy homemade food items. Homemade and taste just like grandmas. Was sold on them the first time I tried them. Home quality and freshness you can’t go wrong with trying them.

Will be stopping back when I’m almost finished with them. my grandchildren love them too.

I made a homemade strawberry cream pie with these delicious graham cracker crusts. Homegrown strawberries used with these crusts to make the perfect strawberry cream pie. Let’s just say the pies didn’t last long.

Good price for a delicious crust.

Buy these. And fill them with chocolate pudding and whipped cream! You will not be disappointed. My favorite late night snack. You can also fill them with fruit for a refreshing dessert. Overall a great purchase.

My go to pre made pie crust for homemade pies. It’s certainly not the same as a hommade crust, but great for time saving and really allows the pie filling to be the star of the show. Best when baked in the oven for at least 5 minutes to toast the crust and set it a little more.

Could use an egg wash to make crust crispier before baking as well. Overall, a great go to easy option if you prefer not to make a homemade crust!.

I have been using this product now for over 2 years. I very much like the formula and the flavor and the result it produces. What I don’t like is the packaging. The bags are much better than the tub, but the ziploc closure is junk and I end up putting the product in an air tight food saver container.

I am also frustrated that I have been a loyal customer for more that 3 yrs now using many different products, but my monthly subscription and purchase does not qualify for the giveaways. I purchase the yeti, vitamins and protein bars regularly.

But I don’t buy products just for the giveaways. But it would be nice to reward loyal customers with a chance at the giveaways also.

Mtn Ops Ammo is the smoothest of meal replacements (and proteins) on the market. It’s easily digestible and the multiple flavors are fantastic! I love mixing the flavors sometimes too. 1/2 scoop vanilla + 1/2 scoop of strawberries and cream.

Perfection! Most importantly though is how I feel after consuming it – have enough sustained energy to make it at least halfway through the day. Key word here: sustained. Most other replacements have so much sugar that there’s a crash within a couple hours.

STOP DO NOT BUY THIS PIE! This is the worst “peach cobbler” ever; if you could call it that. It is nothing but a extremely thick slab of crust that they cut in half and added a peach jam paste with very few slices of peaches.

It is pure sugar through and through. I literally bit into a large chuck of sugar and had to spit it out!!!! Miss LaBelle please stop! ALL your pies are waaaaay too sweet and adding sugar coating on the crust and inside the crust is unconscionable.

Don’t get me wrong I do know pies and I too sprinkle sugar on my crusts — key note SPRINKLE – not drench, dredge, drown. And the photo listed with the ad is totally MIS-LEADING. It shows at least an inch or two of filling between the crusts.

Not True. After I had to use a serated knife to cut through the crust, there was a 1/4 inch thickness of filling, if that. I will never buy nor eat another Patti LaBelle dessert. If I could give this ZERO stars, I would.

The flavor and texture are sublime. If you like thick crust, this is perfect. It does not get soggy upon reheating in the microwave. We baked ours so the peaches were perfect! This is a perfect peach cobbler for a morning pastry with tea or coffee or those who need to save time on cooking other meals.

Literally so delicious!!!!!!! I love the extra crust. !!!! It’s just what I need to satisfy my love of pie crust!!! Someone weirdly commented and stated it was too much crust and too sweet. It literally states it has extra crust and its a pie so it is supposed to be sweet.

This pie crust has definitely changed and not for the better. I have used this pie crust for years, and after my experience this time it may be the last. I made pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving and the dough seemed to have several issues.

1) it was sticking to itself when I was trying to unroll it, 2) it didn’t fit my 9” pie pans very well, 3) I couldn’t get the pie pieces out of the pan, because the crust was sticking to the edges of my pie pan (same pie pans my Mom used for years then passed on to me several years back).

Not only was it embarrassing for me at my dinner but even more of an embarrassment when I gave one of the pies to a family friend and find out they had the same trouble and 4) It had a very odd flavor.

Nothing worse than a mutilated piece of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. I also made pumpkin pecan tassies that I have made for years using this same crust. These were even baked in a nonstick pan and the tassies were still stuck in the muffin cavities.

Pillsbury needs to figure out what the problem is, or if they changed the recipe they need to go back to the original.

These Pillsbury pie crusts have been my go-to for years! I believe they are the next best thing to scratch made. However, I bought a box for my holiday pies and opened the box to find one of the crusts with no wrapping whatsoever and the other crust had a wrapper that was split open all the way from top to bottom.

Basically both crusts were discolored and dried out due to no wrapping. I then had to make a special trip to the grocery store to replace them. Very frustrating. The store made things right and allowed me to get a replacement at no charge.

I have relied on Pillsbury pie crusts for years. But been disappointed recently. Today I unrolled the bottom crust neatly. When I proceeded with umrolling the top crust, it kept sticking to itself and tearing.

It seemed dry and tore easily. Both crusts were packaged in the same box. No one likes to stop in the middle of a pie, and run to the store to get another pie crust. This happens more frequently than it should.

Also, recommend 2 sizes, For 8 inch or 9 inch pies. One size doesn’t fit all, and falls short for 9 inch pie pans. Flavor and bake ability is fine.

very pretty pink. the tiniest beads that will fit on your memory wire. I put this color with a brighter or hot pink and either a crystal or a white. so 3 colors. then once 1 circle is completed with seed beads, I place either a crystal larger beads or glass or wood or even a charm, then follow with a row of seed beads.

then repeat the process. also, the first bead on the wire is usually a larger bead. very nice.

Price is of course very important regardless if we bead for pleasure or retail stock but quality is equally so. Buying the quantity needed for a project but then finding perhaps one third of the beads are deformed or damaged is of no value.

I always look at customers feedback / reviews when making my decision on a purchase. I highly recommend this product for quality and price.

Usually my son likes to crush the crackers and make the crust himself, but these are great in a time crunch. The crust doesn’t get mushy and gives you that graham cracker crust without overpowering your filling.

These are really handy for no-bake pies, especially if you have no time! It can be as simple as making instant pudding to toss in one topped with whipped cream! The only reason I gave it a four instead of five stars is that so many times, I go to pick one up and can’t find one that isn’t broken.

Not really sure how you’d fix that, but it’s a real bummer if you’re in a hurry, which is generally why you’re there buying one in the first place. But overall, I really like them! They taste great, and I love the convenience!.

Bought two of these to use for pumpkin pie crust. The sweetness pairs just right with the pumpkin. The only flaw is watch the package. One of mine was cracked all down the center and I could see that through the label packaging.

It was the only one left on the shelf right before thanksgiving and surprisingly enough, it was very good. It might of could used a bit more moisture to keep it from crumbling so badly, but overall a good product.
